I interviewed Vanessa Treaster, a midwife at the Atlanta Birth Center. Vanessa is a mom of two in addition to being a midwife. I had my second baby at the Atlanta Birth Center, which I have talked about a lot in previous episodes. In this episode, Vanessa talks about how free standing birth centers differ from hospital maternity units and I add a little bit about my experience as a patient at a birth center.
