I’m always grateful to the posse of incredible minds that I have built over the last few years. No matter what issue, what question, what drama, or what celebration - I have someone I can turn to who will “get” that particular conversation.
I don’t need to tell you how important it is to talk through the tough stuff. It’s what keeps us afloat.
But did you know it can be utterly debilitating to not have anyone in your corner who can wholeheartedly cheer when you’re winning?
Our partners try, but don’t always fully get it.
Our family members love us, warts and all, but don’t really get it.
Our friends might give us a kick up the bum when we need it, but they don’t get it either.
You need a posse.
You need a squad.
You need a tribe.
You need a band of like-minded souls, crazy and wise and savvy enough to absolutely GET IT.
Because then you will truly be unstoppable. You will have truth talkers who will tell you when you’re barking up the wrong tree. You will have wise ones who’ve been there, done that, and don’t want you to make the same mistakes. You will have risk-takers willing to jump in right alongside you. Best of all, they’ll hold you accountable to your goals, they’ll keep you honest with yourself, and they’ll absolutely let you brag about all the good stuff.
