Alexander Mikaberidze is a professor of history and social sciences at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Mikaberidze has been the author, editor, and translator of over two dozen books and textbooks mostly focusing on the history of revolutionary eras. He is best known for his work on Napoleon in his book "The Napoleonic Wars: A Global History". In this conversation, we discuss the figure of Napoleon Bonaparte and how we can apply the learnings from history to current affairs, like the war in Ukraine.
