Season 7 - Episode 91: Kim Campbell
Episode description
Colonel Kim “KC” Campbell served in the Air Force for 24 years as a fighter pilot and senior military leader. Kim piloted an A-10 Warthog in more than 100 combat missions in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and she was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for Heroism after successfully recovering her battle-damaged airplane after an intense close air support mission in Baghdad.
Most recently, Kim served as the Director for the Center for Character and Leadership Development at the United States Air Force Academy, and she’s still very involved in leadership development now that she’s retired from the Air Force.
Kim's new book, "Flying in the Face of Fear: A Fighter Pilot's Lessons on Leading with Courage" was just published, and in this episode, she shares some of the leadership lessons contained in it!
