Netflix reminded your hosts that Shadow and Bone exists, so they decided that they’d read the first novel in Leigh Bardugo’s trilogy. They are DEFINITELY not the target audience for these books. They discuss fantasy settings, chosen one tropes, and whether or not the Darkling is actually hot enough to warrant all of the conflict in this book.
