Helen Wyman - Righting the wrongs

Helen Wyman is a 10x British National Champion, European Champion, and World Championships medallist in cyclocross. She retired from racing in 2018 and has become a commentator on the RedBull coverage of the biggest races. Since here retirement from racing, Helen also became a mother. On top of all her accomplishments on the bike, Helen has been a key player in making the sport of cyclocross more inclusive and equal for women. In this conversation, we discuss Helen’s career and how the sport changed throughout her career. From having no World Cup races and no prize money for women in her beginnings, to having the women’s races televised, bringing equal prize money, and creating a Junior Women’s category, Helen has been a key player in making those changes happen.
