Balint Hamvas - Cyclocross Photographer

Balint Hamvas is one of the mainstays on the cyclocross photographing scene. You may know him under his Instagram name @cyclephotos, or for his famous Cyclocross Books that he does after each season.

Maghalie sat down with Balint to look back to a 13 year career in the sport. We chat about how the sport evolved and how he was able to make a career for himself. He shares with us his process of making the books and how he finds the stories to put in the book. We discuss about ways he kept the pursuit interesting for him -- like how he started to ride to all the events to diminish his ecological footprint, how he invented a cycling related board game, and how he's challenging himself to learn new things.
