Episode description

Shelby Livetsky is a heavy-duty mechanic in Manitoba, Canada and a blog collaborator/writer for “The Mechanic Doctor”—an online blog about all things wrenching. One of her most popular articles, “Should Your Daughter Be an Auto Mechanic?”, was written in collaboration with Jill Trotta from the RepairPal team. Currently, Shelby works fixing and maintaining the school buses in her local school division, but her passion for wrenching began early in childhood as she worked alongside her father. Since then, Shelby had no doubts that wrenching was what she had to do. Join us in this episode as Shelby takes us through her “pursuit of happiness” in seeking a career she loves and shares a bit about her extensive knowledge in the benefits of using propane gas for fuel in extreme cold conditions.
