#87 An Antidote to Addiction is Connection - Zane and Bear, CrimAnon

What's happened to CrimAnon since our last interview? Criminon was a true startup in the sense Bear and Zane had just begun their meetings outside of their institution. It was a real test of seeing who would show up, who would be taking the steps and who would acknowledge their addition to crime. Beginning on the same night at the same church, they began with a handful of people for an audience. In a matter of weeks, it has become a standing-room-only affair and they have added a second location on a different night. And they have moved into the local prison system. Meetings start with reading their original 12 steps and 12 precepts. There are wristbands for clean time and child care is available for those who need it. The person who chairs the meeting gives their story to inspire others. And in this episode, Zane chairs a "meeting" in the studio, giving his story.
