Talk about your bad love interests. Emily O'Brien went on a bad outing with guy she liked, supposedly a vacation where HE was going to bring back some drugs across the border, but not HER. Oh yeah. you can guess the ending of this story, but suffice it to say Emily had some time in prison to rethink her life. She had a great family for support and decided to honor them by turning things around. Her Canadian prison had an entrepreneurship course which she took and at a SuperBowl party, she noticed there was popcorn available, but no company was making flavored popcorn with a social impact. Cons N Kernels was born. She started the company in prison for people who were on parole and needing a job.
