We represent and live for the Creator of the universe - God Almighty. We must bring excellence to all that we do as working for the Lord. Just as Malachi called his people back to the standards, we are called too.
Don't be afraid of the truth, but live in it.
Hearing the truth is sometimes difficult. If the truth comes from somebody who loves you, it should be received as constructive. We need to consider James 1 in our lives - to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to be angry. We must keep a soft heart and learn how to hear the truth well.
We should always seek to be truthful. However, we must do it in a way that is loving and not self serving. We also must steer away from gossip - even if the story we share or listen to is true.
As followers of Christ who embodies truth and sets us free through it, we must live our lives in truth. We must work to change our culture that lies everyday.
Blind spots in our lives about our problem areas can destroy us and those around us. We need to be honest about the areas in which we need work and healing. Confession and the allowance of the Holy Spirit to work in our lives is vital for this to happen.
An unbeatable force is Christians willing to follow Jesus even through suffering. How devoted are you to the cause of Christ? This message takes an inner view of the growing numbers of Christians in China.
So many times followers of Christ can get distracted by convictions that seem like the most important. But, these can cause us to lose focus on the core of it all - Jesus. In the end, He matters most. For, He is the One who redeems us to live for His glory.
The concept of Out should be a way of life for those who truly follow Jesus. For, we are to be fishers of men and we must share our faith with those around us everyday.
God can use the ordinary and do extraordinary things in this world. You can be used in powerful ways. Will you submit to His plan?
God has designed us in such a way to serve a specific purpose for His sake. Are you serving?
In the walk of faith, there are decisions that we make that shape who we are and what we are about in this life. Good decision making is a process that takes time and a willingness to stick with it.
Living a life of faith means we are not interested in "self" as much as being used by God to please God. Narcissism has become a cultural phenomenon that challenges the concept of being sacrificial.
The term ADOPTION is used when it comes to being a follower of Jesus. We are children of God. This is both inspiring and challenging.
Who are you living to impress? People or God. As Christians, we should only be concerned about God's approval.
One of the most freeing aspects of faith in Jesus is the fact that we are forgiven and released from our guilt. He loves us this much!
Believing in Jesus means so much more than believing He exists. It means you trust in Him. And trust is living this life dependent on Him.
Easter is all about Jesus' death bringing us life. The question in response to this is, "Will I die to myself to follow Jesus?".
