Episode description
Remember when Alyssa ran the Barkley Marathon? This week, Alyssa and Haley interview the woman who ran the most laps of this year's Barkley, completing what they call the "Fun Run" - 3 laps in less than 40 hours. Jasmin Paris is a fell running champion and ultramarathon runner. Jasmin is best known for her 2019 Spine Race win, during which she pumped breast milk for her daughter while taking intermittent breaks.
Alyssa and Haley ask Jasmin about what pushed her to get into fell running and adventure racing, how the sport has changed with motherhood, and what her future plans are. Jasmin gives us insight into what the Barkley was like for her and how she feels about her accomplishment. Finally, Jasmin shares her favorite European races that she thinks all Americans should try out!
