Episode description

Welcome to our second Friday Feels episode — a new weekly series, where I go deep on a single emotion or felt experience with the help of divination.

In today's episode, we explore trust, first through the absence of it. I talk about hypervigilance, and how hard it can be to trust when you live with the side effects of trauma (the Five of Swords experience). Then, I talk about the presence of trust, and the somatic experience of it — how that calm knowing often comes through consistency and stability (the King of Pentacles experience).

Trust is a spectrum, not a binary, and it's something we can work toward over time through slow and steady commitment to ourselves, our guides, and each other. Learning to decode your body’s signals of safety versus danger is a big part of that.
