The beginning and the end were confusing and "Reasons" is the main explanation given for everything. Akihito is one of the main protags and he has a glasses fetish this is mentioned and brought up at every point and it was a trope that was overplayed and they rely on too much. It had the potential to be a good story but the plot had too many unnecessary twists.
