This Nonprofit Cofounder Helps Holocaust Survivors

While helping her husband, John, photograph Holocaust Survivors as a compassion project, Amy Israel Pregulman learned that of the 80,000 survivors of the Holocaust in the U.S.A., one-third are living at or near poverty. The couple established KAVOD Ensuring Dignity in 2015 to help Holocaust Survivors in the U.S.A. live the remainder of their lives comfortably and in dignity by providing aid for critical emergency services such as food, health and transportation. www.kavodensuringdignity.com
