Prostate Cancer Facts for Women

One in 9 men is diagnosed with prostate cancer, a leading cause of cancer and cancer deaths among men. While prostate cancer is known as a "men's disease," a diagnosis can impact women who may become primary caregivers for their spouses or fathers. Dr. Stacy Loeb, a Urologist with NYU Langone Hospital in NYC, discusses prostate cancer risk reduction, symptoms, testing, diagnosis, treatment and dealing with side effects as well as resources available from the nonprofit Prostate Cancer Foundation.
