The Bishop announced today that the universal dispensation from attending mass on Sunday and holy days is being lifted.     It's time to get back to mass!

It's time for the 'smells and bells' of church.    Time to be physically present.

Steven recalls his time as an altar server offered an intimate look at the mass and the eucharist.      Even before he was an altar server he sat in the front row and to this day he continues to want to be close to the altar.

We discuss the mystery of God being transcendent and above us and yet at the same time intimately united with us via Jesus taking on our human nature.  In the early days of Christianity it was scandalous to think that God would take on human flesh.

In a sense Jesus gave us on the job training.   He taught us to be physically present.    Like a good leader, Jesus shows us how to do the work and then calls us to do the same.
