Speaker 2

Can you believe it? We're already picking up players.

Speaker 1

It seems like the season has just begun and here already the work is started. But I'm gonna help you, So sit back, relax, and take all of it in here as I give you my five favorite ads for Week two Major League Baseball. Before we get to the names on that list, though, don't forget, leave a comment below in this video and you could win a one

So, without further ado, here are the names to pick up in Week two of Major League Baseball, and let's get going. Let's start with Bryce Terrang, shortstop,

second basement for the Milwaukee Brewers. Now, Bryce Rang is a twenty three year old pros for the Brewers. He's rostered and roughly forty percent of leagues right now, and he's gotten off to a terrific start. He is on the strong side of this platoon right now, being the left handed bat, but if he keeps this pace going, he could start to see some at bats against left handed pitching as well. So far in the year, has already got a home run, hitting five hundred to start

the season. And if you go back and look at the minor league track record of terrang pretty good. In Triple A last year, he had two eighty six sole thirty four bases in one hundred and thirty one games, which could make Bryce Terraan quite the roto asset. The slugging percentagers is four to twelve. He did it thirteen home runs, so the pop isn't quite enormous. However, this is a guy with a three to sixty OVP last

year in Triple A. Will he play every day? That's a question mark, but the upside is there, especially in formats at value stolen bases in any head to head or season long rodo leagues. Let's stay in Milwaukee for the second guy on this week's listen. That's Brian Anderson, third baseman outfielder for the Miami Marlins. Now, Brian Anderson is an interesting case because he is just twenty nine

years old and he is in his prime. Last time that he had every day at bats for the Marlins, Brian Anderson did put up a twenty home run season for the Fish and he.

Speaker 2

Also at two sixty that year.

Speaker 1

So far, over his first five games, he's got three home runs and ten RBI, hitting five hundred.

Speaker 2

Now, that's not going to sustain. We all know that.

Speaker 1

However, it does bear witness the fact that this move from Miami to Milwaukee is an enormous jump in terms of ballpark factor on Anderson's side. We saw what it did for Rowdy Teles and Willie Adamas the last few years, and Brian Anderson could be that guy. So, although he has rostered roughly right now in just twenty five percent of leagues, he might hang on this waiver wire a little longer than he should because people just kind of roll their eyes and say, well, it's just Brian Anderson.

But this could be a different version in a different place and could be a far better long term fantasy asset, especially considering third base is a tough position to fill. Number three James Outman, outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Speaker 2

Now, outfield is a crowded location.

Speaker 1

For Los Angeles right now, but James Outman has certainly asserted himself well in the early going over his first six games, a home run, five RBI and a steel hitting two eighty six over.

Speaker 2

Those fourteen at bats.

Speaker 1

He had two triples the other day as well, and Alvin certainly looks like a versatile player who could really help give an injection to this Los Angeles Dodgers lineup. He is rostered already in sixty percent of leagues, but that means he's available still in forty So I would add him right now and hope that James Outman continues to carve out at bats because this twenty five year old prospect could have an opportunity to make major Fantasy contributions.

And we all know outfield is always tough to find, so Altman would be a good one if he's still floating around your waiver wire.

Speaker 2

To add number four Twins outfielder Trevor Larnick. Now, I have been a big.

Speaker 1

Supporter of Trevor Larnick. Throughout his minor league career and so far in the major league level, the production has been sporadic, but right now there's a need for Trevor Larnick to be in the middle of this order. We've all heard about Alex Kiroloff every single year, but injuries always seem to take him out of this equation, and Larnick so far has been the guy slowly making ways for the Twins. He's always delivered good time exit velocities.

He's always had some good played appearances, and now it seems like the strong spring that saw him hit three point fifty with four home runs and starting to carry over. As long as he can keep that strikeout rate down, Trevor Larna could be a huge asset in fantasy leagues. So far, over his first five games, he's at in four to twenty one with a homer, and he's also got four walks to go along in those five games. That's a big deal. That means he's taking better at

bats and seeing the ball better. As long as that walk rate holes and the strikeout rate doesn't increase too much, Trevor Larna could be a player who's finally at the age of twenty six, starting to realize his potential and would be an everyday player for the Twins and your fantasy roster. And lastly, you say Kakuchi Toronto Blue Jay's starting pitcher, and he also qualifies that RP in some leagues as well. Kakuchi right now is rostered in just

fifty six percent of leagues. And I know the first start really didn't blow the doors off anybody against the Kansas City Royals, but he did go five strong innings. He only struck out two batters, so people are kind of rolling their eyes there, But I think Kakuchi could really contribute if you look at what he did this spring, thirty one k's in twenty and two thirds innings.

Speaker 2

That was huge.

Speaker 1

Plus the velocity is up by almost one and a half miles per hour on the fastball. That's a good thing. It means he's healthy. It means that change up also will work better when that velocity is a little higher.

Speaker 2

So Kakuchi pitches for a.

Speaker 1

Good team with a good offense, had a pretty good defense. This could be a guy that could continue to pile up wins. And I think there's a better strikeout rate to be had. So although the first start wasn't mind blowing, take it as an opportunity to pick up some starting pitching depth with Kokuchi who could provide solid returns for the months ahead. So there you have it, everybody, those are the five guys that I want to add this week. Who are some of the names that you want to add?
