If you don't know within the last couple of hours we have breaking news the Fifth Circuit Court has decided to rule in the NFL's favor. So what that means is that the injunction has been lifted on Ezekiel Elliott and we revert

back to the six game suspension being in play. Now here's the catch. The Dallas Cowboys have a bye this week weeks week six. They are not expected back on the field until week seven, and I think the timing is curious of why this is happening right now. I personally think this has happening right now so that Zeke can take his time to get his ducks in a row and put out yet another appeal. I am getting people on Twitter inundating me right now with oh my god,

should I pick up McFadden or Morris? What should I sell Zeke Elliot for? Let me tell you something like my name was Aaron Rodgers. My response is gonna be R E L A X. Relax, calm down. Okay. A lot of things can still happen before the Cowboys get back on the field in week seven. One of them is that Ezekiel Elliott could file another appeal at another court, this time here in New York. I personally think that

is what's going to happen. And I personally think Zeke Elliott still will not be missing the games that we're talking about right now. I'm also telling you right now, if you happen to have Darren McFadden, if you happen to have alf Morris, I'm gonna tell you honestly, you need to shop them right now. In fantasy football, what you're supposed to do is buy low and sell high. Okay, the price will never be

higher for Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris. Then right now, with this news, we might hear tomorrow that Zeke Elliott is appealing the suspension, and until that one gets hurt, he's gonna be on the field. You have have a window right right now where people are panicking and people think that these guys are gonna be actually valuable. I don't know that they are. And here's the other point. Okay, the window of their production, it is what it is.

But here's the thing. The Cowboys offensive line is not what it was in years past. Zeke Elliott is an elite talent. Okay, he's gonna do work I'm not sure Darren McFadden or Alfred Morris can. Alfred Morris is three yards and a cloud of dust. That's all he's doing. He's not making people miss he's not getting more than plays are blocked for, and I don't know that they're getting blocked as well as they have been in years past down there in Dallas. Okay, so officially I'm telling you,

don't panic. I understand I'm getting too many questions on Twitter about this. Don't panic. Okay, there's still more chapters to be written in this story. I will say this, if you're a kind of leage where you gotta spend some fat budget and you have opportunity for both of these guys, McFadden or Morris, I personally like McFadden a little bit better. I think, like I said, Alfred Morris

is three yards in a cloud of dust. I think you know McFadden, even at his injury risk, and even though he's no spring chicken, I think he has more shiftiness, more loosive, this more spark than Alfred Morris. So if I had to pick between one or the other, I picked Darren McFadden. I think he's the better skilled talent and I also think they were trying to keep him maybe wrapped in bubble wrapped for the entire season just in case this happens. But I'm not sure that it

officially is happening just yet. And to keep it moving though here on the fantasy freestyle, one thing that is happening is Tyler Iford is having back surgery. He will miss the rest of this season. He's turning out to be more of like a Mr. Glass tight end than

even Jordan's Red. I think this means Tyler Croft is viable at a bat as a back end tight end one or in the streaming conversation week to week, when the Cincinnati Bengals get back into action, Big Ben over there in Pittsburgh is saying, we could give Martevis Brian a break this week. He's not really being bench And this is from the quarterback, not a coach, right, but listen, Eli Rodgers is back, it could be time to fade Martevis Brian. It looks like Big Ben likes himself a

little bit of Juju Smith Schuster. Remember about the tweet war back and forth between Eli Rodgers and Martevis Bryant when they drafted Juju Smith Schuster. It looks like Martevis Bryant maybe the one um you know, losing out in the sandbox. I'm off Martevis Bryant. I need to see him have one of these big plays before I'm back on him. Head coach Bruce Arian says that Adrian Peterson won't play on third downs. That means to me, Andre

Ellington's role is still safe. Andre Ellencot's with nine catches in his last two weeks. I do not run away from Andre Ellingtonton, especially in PPR leagues. I don't think Adrian Petersonson is gonna move the needle much. I think they're gonna try him. I think he's gonna get a lot lot of carries this week against Tampa Bay, but I don't think it's gonna pan out that well. And I think he's gonna be relegated to the same kind

of duty that he has been in the past. Uh d r C the cornerback in New York, he's suspended in definitely by the Giants. I think that, listen. I think it's unraveling in New York. I think remember Eli Apple has not looked as good as he did in his rookie year. You got Jack Rabbin and that's about about it. In the backfield there. I like Manny Sanders big time this week for Denver. The only problem there is if they get up big, might they just be

running the ball in the second half. In the last note that I'll give before we get into the practice reports, the California wildfires are threatening this Chargers Raiders game. You have members of the Oakland Raiders practicing today in gas mask because of the air quality that they're seeing there right near the wildfires in California. Let me tell you something, Mother Nature is undefeated. Whether it's these earthquakes, whether it's

these hurricanes or now these wildfires. It is truly impacting everyone far and wide. Keep an eye on this. They may decide to move this game. Um, if it doesn't get better. Let me tell you about these practice reports. These guys not practicing against Sterling Shepherd, balal pal rob Kelly with various leg injuries, ankles and calves. I don't think these guys are gonna play, okay, so that means potentially some a G. P Ryan while balal Pale is

I don't think gonna play. I do think Matt Forte will so that tampers the love on a guy like Elijah McGuire. My man, Emory Hunt is big time on Elijah McGuire. But if Matt Forte plays, Matt Forte is going to get snaps. All right. These guys are limited, We're limited in practice and are truly questionable. Okay, we're talking about Derek Carr. We're talking about Marcus Mariota as well. I think it's trending that both of these quarterbacks will

in fact play. But listen, Sam Bradford played on Monday night and he couldn't finish. You know, Derek Cars dealing with a back, Marcus Mariota and a hamstring. If he's gonna try and you know, get out of the pocket. He's a big part of that exotic, smash mouth running game. So we'll see if they rush it back. I'll tell you one guy who will know. I want to give you my preview of the Thursday night game that's coming up in about an hour or so. We're talking Eagles and Panthers. I want to give you my review of that game, and then later on in the show, what we're gonna do is we're gonna open up the phone lines at eight four

We're gonna try and address your questions about week six and beyond, trade questions, free agent pickups, and also how to handle this if you have a guy like Zeke Elliott, if you have a guy like um Darren McFadden on your bench, if you feel you know what, how should you respond? Should you write him out there in week seven? Or should you look to try to flip him now when he may have the highest value that he is going

to have all year. Let me tell you about this Thursday night football game. First of all, I refer back two before the season. Before the season, if you were listening to the fantasy freestyle, I did my team by team preview and I told you the overrunders for the wind totals, and then I gave out my division winners. And I was catching all sorts of slack because I said, I believe that the Philadelphia Eagles are going to win

the NFC East. I caught a lot of slack because I said, I believe the Carolina Panthers are going to win the NFC South over the defending NFC champion Falcons. Both of these teams stand at four and one the winner of this game. Imagine if the Eagles win, go into Carolina and win to go to five and one, with the Giants unraveling, with the storm of Zeke Elliott hovering above the Cowboys, with the Washington football team looking average, this could be the Eagles grabbing a stranglehold an inside

pole position on the NFC East. And think about the Panthers side of things. Think about what Cam Newton has had to already go through. Okay, from me included, I

think his maturity level is subpar right now. But if with all this, the loss of Greg Olsen, the injuries to Cam, the evolution of the offense, and if they still come away at five and one and with a head to head win against the team like the Eagles that they could be competing against for a home game in the playoffs, I think this is a very big game in the NFC and it's coming out right now. Here's what I'm talking about this game. I love, love,

love the Carolina Whiteouts in this game. There are some Philadelphia cornerbacks that are getting at He tried to address this trading for Ronald Darby in the preseason, and then Darby went out right away with an ankle injury. He's not back yet. I think Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funcius are going to eat today against these Philly cornerbacks. Okay, I really like that. On the Philly side, you gotta love zach Ertz. Okay, I believe zach Ertz is definitely

a top three tight end moving forward. But Rob Gronkowski and Travis Kelsey have injury concerns. Remember Kelsey is in the protocol in the cold dark quiet room because of his CT symptoms and that concussion that was very scary last week. And Yo, Rob Gronkowski, will he or won't he play? He's got back, he's got fives. You know, he's got a lot of things that are banged up. I love me some zach Ertz. I love the development

of Carson Wentz. But one thing if you listen to the Fantasy freestyle you know about is that I believe Carson Wentz is very much tied to All Pro right tackle Lane Johnson. Last year, when Lane Johnson was there, Carson Wentz looked great. Then Lane Johnson had a ten game suspension, and that's right when Carson Wentz his play

started to plummet in his rookie year. You're also not gonna have Wendell Smallwood, who was taking that Darren Sprows roll after he got hurt, effectively Smallwood missing his second game with the knee injury. You also don't have a big stud in the middle for Philadelphia. Fletcher Cox looks like he might miss this game as well. He's gonna give it a go in warmups, but it's trending that he won't play either. Because of all those things and

because I like the home team. Generally speaking, on Thursday Night Football, I think we see a decent quality game, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is the Carolina Panthers going to five and one right now. It is real tight you in total, say take the Panthers minus three cent, Say take the Eagles and the points, and if we look at the over under, fifty seven percent of you like the over. Guy Marcus Torres. He made it happen. He picked up a chim Hunt and traded him straight up for Leonard Fournett in his league. And then he hit me up on Twitter. I was like, I don't believe you. That's crazy, that sound. I don't believe that that's actually gonna happen. He sent me a picture of his computer screen saying that the trade was being processed, that it was expected. I think Benjamin has a big game against that Philadelphia secondary that has not been great. And I love Adam Feeling this week,

especially if Stefan can you digs? It can't go with that groin injury. You say, KB and Feeling? Who are these other wide receivers? Because I would actually try to find a way to start both of them. So, Francisco, before you get to your trade, who else are your other wide receivers that are over both Benjamin and Feeling? Well, well, yeah, that's ties into the trade to Okay, I gotta Antonio Brown in the trade. Oh that's great. So what's the trade.

Let's talk about this. What's the trade? I gave up Sean McCoy and Brandon Cooks and you got back. I love it, Alex Smith, Oh I love it. I absolutely love it. I think and people are talking about Alex Smith is an m VP candidate. Antonio Brown is obviously a stud. The reason I love it is because both Cooks and McCoy have yet to really perform. Cooks has kind of been, you know, off again, on again with New England, and I am very down on Shady McCoy.

If you listen to the Fantasy Freestyle, you know that Buffalo offense has no kind of force and power behind it. Losing Jordan Matthews, losing Charles Clay. Let me ask you this, Francisco, if you were a defensive coordinator playing against the Buffalo Bills. Wouldn't you spend all your energy trying to stop Lashawn McCoy. I think that's what's gonna happen. So I absolutely love the trade. I love any trade where you can get Antonio Brown. Thanks for the call, Francisco. We're keeping it

Steve, I actually had a question. I'm trying to figure out who I wanted to start. It's me, Trevor, Simeon and Brissette because I have Russell Wilson on the bond and I like both matchups, and I'm just not sure where I should go,

Simeon or Brissette. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. I know it's gonna sound crazy, but I actually like Brissette better this week. Okay, I like Brissette over Simeon this week, and let me tell you why. Okay. My main reason is because I think Denver is gonna be able to win this game without having to throw the ball much at all. I think this Giant's offense is such blunt, gut trash with no running game to speak of, no healthy wide receivers. I don't think they're gonna put up

many points on Sunday Night. I think Denver is not gonna have to do much to win this game, and I think they're gonna be up in the second half. If you saw a saying like that Jacksonville Pittsburgh game, the Jaguars didn't throw a single pass since in the second half, I think this is gonna be a lot of C J. Anderson, not too touch of Trevor Simeon.

On the flip side, I think Jacoby Brissette and the Colts are gonna be in a more competitive game with the Titans on Monday night, and I think that Tennessee past defense could be had. So for those reasons, I am going Steve. I actually like Brissette over Simeon, especially with you know, t Y Hilton and the explosions he's had over the past couple of days. Well, I talked to you yesterday about my crappy running backs with Abdula as my best and I had Brown Thomas and uh and uh nuke you said to try and pear up Dronkowski running back. This guy wants Michael Thomas and Jonathan Stewart for McCoy. Wait wait, say this again, say this again? You would be getting McCoy. Yeah, for Michael Thomas and Jonathan Stewart.

I don't do it, man, I don't do that you. I don't know if you heard me on the last call. I'm down on McCoy. McCoy is there's there's nothing left on that Buffalo offense. That Buffalo offense is not really dynamic and buff and McCoy will be the only guy left there for defense is to stop I know, I I really don't think McCoy. I think it's gonna be tough sledding for him. I liken Lashawn McCoy for the rest of this year to what Todd Gurley was facing last year. He might have been a great talent, but

defenses were keying in so hard to stop him. That's why I coined the like fifty three in a box. I think that's what Lashawn McCoy is going to be facing. Remember, Jeff, I do still think that the way for you to improve is to maybe drop down a little bit and go to for two and involved maybe a little bit of gronk. But no, McCoy is not a running back. I would be targeting right now. Okay, McCoy is not a running back. I would be targeting because I think

there's nothing left in Buffalo. I think, listen, I think C. J. Anderson is a better look. I think Doug Martin is a is a better look. Melvin Gordon is a better look obviously, the elite studs like Hunt Bell for Nette, you know, but I I don't think McCoy. I think he's gonna be more of a back in DRB one, maybe even an RB two going forward. I want a young kid. I want a guy like Doug Martin who hasn't played much. I think I think those guys might be a little better. McCoy is not the running back

I would be targeting in a trade. Although I do empathize for your situation, Jeff, let's keep it moving here on the Fantasy Freestyle. Our next call is Andrew. Andrew is in Boston. Yeah, no problem, no problem. Listen if it's p PR, the appeal of CMC is definitely there. Okay, Yes, I like Chatritian McCaffrey. I think he's another guy. What I did, if you heard me early in the show, I talked about the evolution of this offense and how what I think that means for

Benjamin and Funcious. I think I think CMC is also uh stands to really benefit as the season goes along. I think they're gonna find ways to get him mismatches is I love Alvin Kamara this week, especially in PPR formats, I think Jordan Howard is the one. I mean, he gets the guaranteed touches. But because you're in PPR formats, I think Camara is gonna get some receptions and I think McCaffrey is gonna get some respect receptions. Yeah, Andrew, I find a way to try and get McCaffrey in

So as you can see my wide receiver situations and kind of crazy wherever some good, some kind of chancing would have you. So, yeah, like I said, I picked up Alfred Morrison, what have you? So I'm not quite sure who to play this week. What I was gonna

go with was Buck Bell, Tari Cook and prior. However, I don't know if I just still maybe go back to the well and pick up Orchard again and then drop and saying gillesly too, I had him on my kem dropped him befoul.
