It is a good starting place, Okay, But don't get too stressed out if you hear if you see a d n P and a questionable tag next to somebody on your team right now, what really matters is if they're trending up or if they are trending down throughout the week. So we're gonna chop it up. We're gonna get into some of those practice reports a little bit later on

in the show, right after the break. And I also found a few spot like games for week five, week six that I really want to talk about. I think there are some marquee games, some games with very high point totals. And if you remember, it is the point totals that you need to look at where Vegas things. Let's go around the league because there's some news to report, and also remember Wednesday's mean practice reports, So I gotta give you some of those big time takeaways as well. First of all, the Browns have in fact made the decision of the worst kept secret. Remember Hugh Jackson kind

of revealed this before. The Browns have made the change and Kevin Hogan is going to be their starting quarterback moving forward. I actually think this is an upgrade for some of the wide receivers because, um, I think it opens up with playbook a little bit more than gonna throw the ball downfield a little bit more. I think Ricardo Lewis is very interesting in a DFS play moving forward. I don't know if in season long as you really want to ride with him, but maybe give him a

shot in DFS this week. Also, the NFL is gonna meet with Jarvis Landry, wide receiver of the Miami Dolphins in a couple of weeks because I don't know if you remember, he has a domestic violence case going on. There were no formal charges pressed against him, but listen, there were no formal charges press againt Zeke Elliott either. Okay, so keep that on your brain when you're thinking about trades at the trading deadline, Davante Parker's injury and stuff

like that. And also, you know, I mean, I guess you had to see this coming, right, But Tyler Eiffort is in California today. He is considering a third yes I said third back surgery, um, and that would obviously end his season. It's it's such a shame because remember he got injured at the Pro Bowl a few years ago, remember that, and he really has never been the same ever since he went to the Pro Bowl, after that big time like fourteen or twelve touchdown season that he

had early in his career with Cincinnati. Two damn shame. But he's considering back surgery. That means that if you got yourself Tyler Croft, he might be filling that role for the foreseeable future. And the Cincinnati tight end is a place that they go to in the red zone. Okay, as I mentioned, Wednesday is the first day of practice for Week six. We're gonna see some reports. First of all, what I gotta tell you some people that say they're

definitely gonna play. First of all, we're here in Gronk is going to play, uh this Thursday, excuse me not to Thursday this week against the Jets. Remember he missed the last Thursday in a kind of popped up move with his thigh. But also listen, tomorrow kicks off Week six of the NFL season, and you got the Panthers and the Eagles. Okay, Devin Funchis is going to play tomorrow.

Night with that knee. He had a knee injury, but he is going to play, So if you have him in your lineups, you can go ahead and fire him up. When the Smallwood, however, it doesn't look like he's going to go. He got the questionable tag and it looks like he is not going to go. This would be the second straight game. I think they're kind of resting him because next game for them is not for eleven days.

I think they have Monday Night Football next week and maybe Wendell small Wood will be good to go for weeks seven. But now come to the practice reports. Here are the people who did not practice. Okay, Balau pal our guy Boom boom bilal pal pal. He might be, by the way, the nickname on the Fantasy freestyle that has kind of like gotten the most love, gotten the

most steam. When I see it there, it is Listen when I hear um on Twitter, when you guys hit me up with whether it's Stefan, can you digs it? You know? Or guys like now I'm using the adam, I'm feeling myself, you know, um uh pop quiz Jack Quiz, Rogers and some of the other names that we come up with here on the Fantasy Freestyle. I really think Pal has kind of taken on a life of his own. Also not practicing is a man fat Rob Kelly like Wolf.

He's got an ankle injury. He may not go against the San Francisco forty niners and Tony Sincada, my guy on Lineup Block Live. You can catch us six seven pm Eastern Time every every weeknight here on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. He says that a sneaky play this week on DFS might be USA J. P. Ryan. Okay, if Rob Kelly is not going, we expect the game script to be something that Washington football team will be

up after. Thereby on against the San Francisco forty nine is Remember they're really historically bad run defense, at least last year. It could set up nicely. It could be the perfect storm for some a g P right on. Also, Terrence West didn't practice today. He's got that CAF injury. Remember I say it's whackamole in Baltimore. I stay away from the entire situation. I stay away from Buck Allen, I stay away from Alex Collins, I stay away from Terrence West. Was just a guy. If you had to

give me one of them. I take Buck Allen, but on a weeks a week basis, you never know how it's gonna go down. Also, Travis Kelsey, okay, has not been clear to practice. He has a concussion. He is in the protocol, okay, and listen at the tight end position, it's really slim pickens these days. Remember between you know you lost Charles Clay last week, Greg Olsen's gone down. Even guys like Gronk, you know, miss the game or two. So now with this potential loss of Travis Kelsey, it

could be interested. But I do think it means big things for Tyreek Hill owners moving forward. Also, Sterling Shepherd did not practice. Remember he was in that walking boot. He, like every other wide receiver for the New York Football Giants, has an ankle injury. I do think they'll listen. Sterling Shepherd,

I think is a great ad. He's only owned in like sixty of leagues right now, and I know he's not gonna be playing this week, and all likelihood a great ad for your team if you have a little bit more vision and are thinking a little bit more medium or long long term. When Sterling Shepherd returns and he will in a couple of weeks, he will be the undisputed number one target there in New York. Also, Stefan can you digs it did not practice today? Remember he was in and out and mostly a decoy on

Monday Night football for the Vikings. Um I think he You know, Key's one to definitely keep an eye on, okay, because you know how important he is to that Minnesota Vikings offense, especially without Dalvin Cook. I want to see at least limited work tomorrow and hopefully a full practice and him get removed for the injury report. But this is what I'm saying on ends that you never really know because also check this out. Willie sneed limited in practice.

This is a guy who was suspended for the first three weeks of the season. You know, you would think he'd be healthy when did he get hurt, you know, trying to get back into football shape. But he was limited today with a hamstring injury. Also, Julio Jones is also limited. Mohammed Sun who did not practice, so it looks like Julio might be there, but no Mohammed Sun. New as the Falcons come back from there by, We'll say this, you know what's interesting Matt Forte practice today.

Maybe he's coming back from that turf toy. Let me tell you something that Fote practices and if he dresses, he will get opportunity. Remember how many people were like high on the Liijah McGuire. We started talking about the workload that he may have. Not so much. Not if Matt Forte is back, Okay, he will automatically assume lead back duties in my opinion. All right, so um, here's the thing I want to talk about. A spotlight game that I've think is very interesting. We go to the

highest total on the board. Remember, the over under totals are really where I look. When I look at dfs, for example, where dis Vegas, expect there to be a lot of points because there's gonna be a lot of fantasy goodness there. And right now, the highest total on the board is this Saints Lions game. Okay, the Lions are at home. Lions are four and a half point favorites back in the dome after there by over under total. I see it as fifty one only game that's in

the fifties and I love this game for some production. Okay, I think Alvin Kamara is definitely someone they're about to unleash on the fantasy football world. They traded Adrian Peterson. Remember if you've been listening to the Fantasy Freestyle, I've been saying that all Adrian Peterson was doing was blocking Alvin Kamara and his path to production. And I think that is absolutely the case, and they don't want to do that anymore. I think Camara is ready to explode um.

I think this is a big time opportunity for him. And without Willie Sneed coming back, that means you can fire up my man. Let me, let me get the bubbles going Ted Finn Jr. Yet again as the number two pass catcher, but in DFS, and when I give out my DFS lineup, I love du Brees in the dome after the by and so I'm gonna stack him with Michael Thomas as well. I think there's big time fantasy goodness there on the Detroit side. Listen. I told you this is one of those sum is greater than

the parts kind of team. And I had a lot of people on Twitter asking me, what about Matt Stafford this week? What about Matt Stafford this week? What about Matt Stafford this week? I love Matt Stafford, but I don't like this injury. I love this matchup against the Saints, but I don't like this injury. I told you, I even said on Line Up Block Live. Listen, there's a universe out there where I sit Matt Stafford this week

because they gotta buy next week. They gotta buy next week, and maybe you give Matt Stafford, you know, the two weeks off. I know they're not gonna do that because they're in contention and in that division where you have Minnesota, where you have Green Bay, every win, every conference win, will count. But keep an eye on the practice reports. Matt Stafford's gamer. He's gonna go. We all know this already, but it's whack a mole over there for the Detroit Lions.

And I think Matt Stafford, if he dresses and if he plays, I love the matchup. But if he's like your only option, keep an eye out because right now Vegas still doesn't have a line on this game because of the fact that Matthew Stafford is kind of only like questionable or probable or while he did practice. But um, I personally think it would behove the Lions to, uh,

you know, maybe arrest him for a little bit. Listen up, we're gonna open up the phone lines right now, okay at eight four four eight four three six, eight seven nine. I want to talk about this green Bay Minnesota game, because what will happen? Who's under center for Minnesota, who's the running back for green Bay? Will step on digs play? You know what? We dropped staf topa beats. I also want to talk about this Pittsburgh Kansas City game, and it's Fettie Wop Wednesday where we talked about the trap games. We got some room for you on the phone lines a little bit later on to get a little bit of advice from

your boys. Speeds the spitting Statistician. But what I first wanted to do is talk about one or two more games that I think are very interesting here for weeks six of the NFL season. I want to talk about this Steelers Chiefs game, which listen is a rematch of a playoff game last year, which I think really was the deciding factor for so many things for both of

those franchises. For the first part, I think it's when the Kansas City Chiefs realize that they can not go any further than they did last year with the kind of offense and the way Alex Smith played the game. Remember, Alex Smith was like the ultimate game manager. They almost they lost that game to Pittsburgh because they couldn't push the ball down the field and they couldn't score enough points against what was actually an average Pittsburgh defense at best.

What they do in the offseason they went out and got Patty Mahomes in the draft that could get who they believe it is kind of like a Brett farrv type that could just sling it right. And this threatened Alex Smith in my opinion, and this long with Andy Reid probably being like, listen, we gotta push the ball down the field. Remember, part of the revelation for the

Chiefs this year is that they're being more aggressive. I think they realized that that was as far as they could go with Alex Smith playing the way it was. They they they drafted Patty Mahomes and I believe that Alex Smith took that que and he's a different quarterback. He's being a little bit less conservative, and uh, that's part of the reason and why the Kansas City Chiefs are the last undefeated team in the NFL. But here's the thing. I am concerned about this trash Kelsey concussion.

This is a guy who gets banged up a lot, and you know, you never know what concussions. He could be back this Sunday. He could miss a lot of time. This could be the beginning of bad things for Travis Kelsey. We call him baby Gronk. In my opinion, it is Gronk. It is Baby Gronk Travis Kelsey, and it is Zach Ert as the undisputed top three tight ends in the game right now. And if Kelsey has banged up, that could be a big blow to the Kansas City Chiefs.

I do, however, think it means that you might see a little bit more of Kareem Hunt in the passing game this week, which I think could be interesting for Kareem Hunt owners and make him an even more tasty DFS play, shall we say. And I also think it means good things from Tyreek Hill. If you're a Tyreek Hill owner, you know that in the last couple of games he hasn't really had those big plays. I mean, he did have the punt return last week, but in

the receiving game he hasn't had it. He hasn't had the production in the running game like you've seen for him in the past. I think we could see a Tyreek kill renaissance of sorts to the big play, an explosive activity if Travis Kelsey doesn't play on the Pittsburgh side of things. Let me tell you something. I got people on Twitter asking me should I drop Big Ben?

Should I move on from Big Ben? I know big Ben had a horrible game last week, five interceptions, the comments after the game he didn't know if he has it anymore, that sort of stuff. I actually think I would not be surprised market down. This is Speeds calling a shot. I would not be surprised if we see a big time bounce back game from Big Ben. I'm talking for the first time. He goes three hundred and three touchdowns. Antonio Brown helps him out with a big play.

He finally connects with a big play, you know, over the top of Martevis Bryant, uh Levan Bell helps him out with a screen pass that goes for to your fifty yards. I wouldn't be surprised if they rally. Now. You know, we've heard so much Martevis Bryant, the Antonio Brown kind of blow up that sort of stuff, big bend, all this stuff, lavy on with the hold out, a lot of cloud swirling. I think, listen, if it's one thing Mike Tomlin does, it's you know, he speaks so

well and he can rally behind. Like when I hear Mike Tomlin press conference, I'm ready to run into a wall for him, right. I think they know that even though they are in first place at three and two, their back is sort of against the wall, and I think they put up a big time offensive explosion. I actually think, listen, the Chiefs are four point favorites. I actually believe I take the points in this game. I take the four points for Pittsburgh, and I give me

the Steelers. A matter of fact, I'm gonna go on over to my bookie dot A G right now and I might put a couple of shekels on the Pittsburgh Steelers this week as my upset of the week. I believe, listen, they could play close games and arrowhead all the time.

I I think it's fine, Sean that you start to Shaun Watson right But I don't think he's getting another

five touchdowns, man, you know what I mean. And and the and will Fuller is kind of in the same boat. Will Fuller is kind of in the same boat. He had two touchdowns in each of his games so far. I don't think that's gonna continue. Let me ask you something those Sean. You said, it's a ten teams standard league, so it's a little bit smaller the league, so that's why. But I think these are good options because, to be

quite honest, I love C. J. Anderson this week. I think game script is gonna go where Denver is gonna be up and trying to run the ball in the second half of that game. But I also expect the t Y Hilton breakout as well. The Tennessee Titans are not good against the past, and t Y Hilton has

been doing it lately, and I love Doug Martin. So I understand you have C. J. Anderson and your in your flexible, Like, who are these other running backs that are starting ahead of c J Anderson And who are these other wide out starting ahead of t Y Hilton? I like C J Anderson and the flex but I might want to fit Dougie Martin and t Y Hilton and over other people you have in your lineup. Who who's like your your last running back and the last

white out in your lineup? Sean, Yeah, I'm feeling you, man, But I was like, this week, everybody's ranked ranking Lamar Miller ahead of Doug Martin, so I had Doug Martin in there originally. So Lamar Miller's the the RB two and wide receivers, I got Mike Evans and Chris Hogan, So okay, fair enough, listen. I personally, I personally, Sean, I would put Doug martin In over Lamar Miller. I

personally like Doug Martin over Lamar Miller. I know the matchup isn't necessarily as great because they have Arizona, but I personally like the skill of what I saw in Doug Martin and when it comes to your white outs. I understand the Chris Hogan thing, but remember there's a lot of mouths to feed there in New England. Okay, and Gronka is gonna be back. A Mendola had eight catches the back side of the backfield. I almost would

put t Y Hilton in over Hogan as well. I gotta tell you the truth, Sean, I leave C. J Anderson in my flex, but I put Doug Martin in over Lamar Miller, and I put t Y Hilton in over Hogan. You get it, brother, But hopefully I helped you out on a little it. I love C. J Ansen in the flex. I'm confident in that as well. Thanks for the call. Our next call, though, is Holly in New Jersey. I actually fuller as well as one of my wives that I was thinking about starting along with a crame Tree because Prior and Digs I'm a little unsure about and m My initial question was basically trying to move toward my running back, uh to a pain another wide receiver or maybe uh leonarfer Nett or uht sure um. So thanks for the call, Holly, Listen, if you can get Leonard fo Nett or DeVante Freeman, go right ahead, like, yeah, yes,

that's my answer to your question. Like, if you could get Leonard Fournette or DeVonta Freeman, absolutely, those are you know, stud elite backs that can win you weeks. The goal of fantasy football, okay, Holly and everybody else listening out there is to accumulate as many players who are game changers, who can pop off on any given week and get your twenty thirty points and win you that week. And as you've seen, Leonard Fournette and DeVonta Freeman are both

in that class. As far as the wide receivers you mentioned, Holly, you talked about Will Fuller, you said you had crab Tree, Terrell Prior, and Stefon Diggs. Let me tell you something. I love crab Tree as a week to week started for you, and I'm gonna tell you to God's on his truth, Holly. I think Stefan, can you Digs it is going to go. I don't know if you saw Monday Night football, they set Digs exited with that groin injury, but he was on the field in the second half.

He was on the field in the second half. They were using him in blocking schemes. And if he was that seriously hurt, I don't think he would have been on the field in the second half of that Monday night game. I know he didn't practice today, but keep an eye on the practice reports going forward this week, okay, because I ultimately think Diggs is going to be okay, And I would go Crabtree as your one, Digs as yours two, and then will Fuller as your three. I

told you as you heard the last caller. I don't think he's gonna get two touchdowns every week, Hollie. But I do think he's ahead of Terrell Prior. I don't like Terrell Prior, So what I would do if I was talking packaging to get running backs, I would try and prackage Terrell Prior and whatever other running backs you have there that had like your r B two right now and see if your current r B two and Terrell Prior can start a negotiation for one of the

with like double digit lines this week. You could get like the Atlanta Falcons are eleven point favorite the Denver Broncos or a twelve point favorite. The Washington football team is a ten point favorite against San Francisco. I like the backdoor cover and the points there. And also the Houston Texans are ten point favorites against the Cleveland Browns, and I officially think this one is the trap game

for weeks six. Let me tell you something. The Houston defense lost Whitney Merciless, they lost J. J. Watt, and I think the shine comes off the rows on Deshaun Watson at some point. Listen, he's he's performing well. I'll give you that he's performing well, but he's not gonna go five touchdowns every game. Okay, I'm getting people right now. Literally on Twitter, people are asking me should I go with Deshaun Watson or Aaron Rodgers rest of the season.

I got a question on Twitter. Should I go DeShawn Rogers or Tom Brady for the rest of the season. I think the hype has gone a little bit too far on that side and on the Cleveland side, Listen, I think Hogan is a better option than Kaiser. They will have a better offense on Sunday than they have so far. Okay, I don't think the Browns are gonna go into Houston and win, but I do think that's too many points and I think a little bit for

And I like the way you're thinking. Okay, I like the way you're thinking. But no, I would not pick up a s J and trade Gronk. I think you're the perfect candidate for kind of two for two trade. Okay, Jeff, Here's what I would do. I would dangle Gronk. I would dangle Gronk and like whatever running back you have underneath Abdula right, and I would target say like that would a target say like, oh, you know the zach ERT's owner, I would target like the Delaney Walker owner.

You know something like that. Okay, I would target the the Jordan Reed owner, the Cameron brad owner, the Evan Ingram owner, the Kyle Rudolph owner, you know other good tight ends that are better than Austin Safari and Jenkins. And I would start with zach Ertz and and Delaney Walker. I would target those owners. And I would try to do Gronk and you're running back underneath Abdullah for a running for a running back that's better than the one

you're trading away and that tight end, right. I would go down a little bit at tight end to improve a little bit at running back. But I wouldn't go all the way down to picking up Austin Safari and Jenkins to do so. Okay, I think you go too for two where you improve and running back, but you go down a little bit in tight end. You know, I made a trade on my own team, uh last night, and I was just obsessing over it because you know, you get you get, you get attached to these guys. I traded away Joe Mixon myself. I needed a little

bit of quarterback help. I wound up getting Mattie Ice, and I, like Annan agonized over it so much because you know, I'm like, oh, I'm gonna have Joe Mixon when the when the breakout comes, you know, And I understand this, but you gotta make this trade. Man. Let me tell you why Michael Thomas is so much better

than Hogan. The Saints have already had their By. He's the undisputed number one target in New Orleans, where Hogan is kind of like hot in the streets right now, right And I'm gonna tell you something, rest of the season, I don't think the gap between McCoy and c J. Anderson is that big, Okay. I like the fact that the Denver Broncos have also already had Thereby. I've been saying earlier in the season, I thought c J. Anderson was a high end r B two, maybe even a

back end RB one. With the way that the running back position is going down this year, I don't like McCoy, man. I think I think you need to unload McCoy if you hand right now, Mark. And here's why you know this, That Buffalo offense is not dynamic, man, And Buffalo offense is not dynamic, Mark, And here's the thing. You lost, Jordan Matthews. You lost Charles Clay, who was kind of

the only their threat. Right now, let me ask you a rhetorical question, Mark, if you were a defensive coordinator playing against the Buffalo Bills, what would you try to do to stop that offense? Are you still there? I would mind everybody up and try to stop Lashawn McCoy. I think he's gonna be facing like my my turn last year for Todd Gurley was putting all fifty three men in the box against him. They can't do that against Gurley anymore, right because of the weapons. They can

do that now against Shady McCoy. I think that is unfortunately what is going to happen. And I would move. I would do this trade man. I would take see Janison and Michael Thomas.
