And if I didn't think about this, but they are crediting Chris Thompson with a fumble on that play. He wound up losing by less than three tenths of a point. Luke Cowell, his opponent had Kansas City, wound up losing by a couple of points. VJ out there his opponent had Chris Thompson. He wound up winning by half a point. And also Jelly Cool out there on Twitter at Tom Underscore Laser had the Chiefs d and wound up winning

Danny Trevathan suspension was reduced to one game. Remember he put that hit on Davante Adams in that game last Thursday night. Um, the trevisan was a two game suspension, it was reduced to one. I think that's okay because Listen, Trevathan does not have a history of being any kind of a dirty player, so I think that's interesting. Um, Melvin Gordon on the Chargers has also said that he admits that he is frustrated and he wants more touches. Okay, this could be an idea of like the squeaky wheel

getting the grease, you know. But I was just talking about this with Tony Sankata on Lineup Block Live, and Tony thinks that listen, Melvin Gordon needs to perform a little little bit more before he can start talking about getting the ball a little bit more. I find it very interesting that this this team with new head coach

Anthony Lynn. Anthony Lynn, who was part of the last six years in a row the best rushing offense in the NFL, whether that was Buffalo or the Jets before that, It's interesting to me that he can't scheme some things up to get Mark Melvin Gordon loose. Also, Josh Norman uh in that Monday night game, it turns out he has broken ribs and he also has damage to the lining of his lung. He's gonna miss a little bit of time. I think that you could increase wide receivers

going up against the Washington football team moving forward. Also, the Zeke Elliott, he's appealed, you know, they got this decision in the courts. The Fifth Circuit Court is hearing his appeal this week. They're saying that he may have it. They may have a decision on that injunction. Blah blah blah. I'm gonna tell you something right now. Zeke Elliott is gonna play this week. He's gonna play the entire year. It's gonna be kind of like Tom Brady. How any

kind of suspension or decision. I think it's actually gonna affect Zeke next year, not this year. So if you are right now getting trade offers involving Zeke Elliott, it could be because the owner on the other side is getting a little scared that Zeke might miss some time. It's not gonna happen. You can go ahead and take those trade offers with confidence. I talked to you about

the Danny Trevathan suspension. You know what's interesting. We talked about all these packers from last Thursday night, that we're getting hit hard and that we're out. You know, whether it be Time Montgomery, Jamal Williams, Davante Adams, all of them have a chance to play this week. Listen, Time Montgomery and Jamal Adams practice today in full all right,

Davante Adams practiced on a limited basis. That is why I told you, guys, anybody who's talking about Aaron Jones as the hot ad, I told you to pump the brakes on it. I said, there's a reason he was fourth on the depth chart. I said, don't spend your fat budget or your waiver on Aaron Jones. And hopefully you listen to me, because time Montgomery back at practice, Jamal Williams back at practice, Aaron Jones is not actually going to be a thing. Paul Perkins also was practicing

with that rib injury. But why invest in Paul Perkins or any Giants running back right now? That's what I've been telling all the people on Twitter at spitting speeds who've been trying to get at me about this. Wayne Gallman ad why invest in a Giant's running back right now? Behind that offensive line. Also, Odell Beckham was practicing. I told you the drama queen. He's fine and practicing. He needs to understand the difference between being hurt and being injured.

If you hurt, you play through it. And right now, Odell Beckham is just hurt. He is not injured. He's okay. Also, Ja gi E practicing in full with that knee. Remember he's been hampered by this the last couple of weeks and he hasn't produced. Maybe he'll be a little bit better this week. Other guys who were limited. Andrew Luck back at practice. Um he's still ruled out for week five. I do believe though that listen Andrew Luck might finally

suit up for the Colts in week six. They're gonna want him to play in week six because otherwise they could to just put him on the pup list. So if you have Jacoby Brissette Milky, get all the squeeze, all the juice out of it when you still can. Jesse James practice for the Steelers on a limited braces he had a shoulder injury. I think he could be a legitimate streaming tight end if he suits up for Pittsburgh because remember the Jacksonville Jaguars are sick on the

outside with Jalen Ramsey and a J. Bouyer. Big Ben Roethlisberger may have to do some work with Jesse James, Levy on Belle Juju Smith Schuster out of the backfield, Um out of the slot for the Steelers, this week going up against Jacksonville and Marcus Mariota got in a limited practice with that hamstring, but it's Matt Castle getting the first team reps. I think that's okay. Here's some

guys who did not practice today. I'm not concerned about them yet, but keep an eye and see if they get a limited session in tomorrow if they're trending in the right direction. Kelvin Benjamin with that knee, I think they're just managing his rest. Matt Forte the toe, I don't think he plays when those smallwood with a knee. That's a new one that bears watching. Okay, you want to make sure that he gets some limited work in later on in the week. I think they maybe just

be managing his reps as well. Remember he's a smaller kind of back, has never really had the load that he has now with Darren sprawls out, So we shall see about that. Marky's Lee also not practicing. And one last injury that I want to give you, and this is interesting because the Patriots played tomorrow on Thursday night football. Rob Gronkowski was added to the injury report today with a five injury. That's something new for Gronk and the pass play tomorrow, so keep an eye out on that.

That would be a shame. The one other thing I want to talk to you guys about. I don't know if you saw this, but Cam Newton, man, what a d bag. I'm telling you what a d bag. I don't know if you saw this already, guys, but it's a hot story that people are talking about right now. A female reporter for the Charlotte Observer asked Cam Newton today about one of his receivers, Devin Funchius, saying saying, hey,

and here's the quote. Hey, Cam, I know you take a lot of pride in seeing your receivers play well. Dev and Funcious has really seemed to embrace the physicality of his routes, getting those extra yards. Does that give you a little bit of enjoyment to see Funcious kind of truck sticking people out there? Completely legitimate question, you know, a Cam said. In response, he said, it's funny to hear a female talk about route routes. It's funny. It's

funny to hear a female talking about routes. The reporter comes back and says, I actually don't think it's it's funny to be a female talking about routes. I think it's my job, says this uh reporter Jordan's Rodrigue for the Charlotte Observer. First of all, here at the Fantasy Freestyle, your boys speeds. I want to tip my cap to that reporter like not trying to make herself the story. Didn't even really put it out there. It's other people

that are putting it out there. And you're right, it is your job, and you ask a legitimate question, you should get a legitimate answer. I'm telling you Cam Newton right now rises at the level d bag number one on the Fantasy Freestyle. I used to talk. I talked about them for the last year and a half, talking about how he gets the short end of the stick, how he doesn't get unnecessary roughness calls or roughing the

passer calls against him when he legitimately should. You may have even heard me talk about the hashtag all quarterbacks Matter. Now I'm in a position where I gotta rescind all of that love for Cam Newton. This is two thousand and seventeen. It is out of control that Cam and his little with his hats and his glass of and his aloof ways, thinking he's entitled and thinking he knows something that everybody else doesn't. He absolutely does not. He

needs to show every reporter the same exact respect. And I think it's absolutely ridiculous that he's gonna call it funny. You know what, I think it's funny, and I want to give up props right now out to my man Costa out on Twitter at Finlow who's always hollering at me on the Fantasy Freestyle. He says, you know what's actually funny, It's actually funny to hear him talking about routes with his forty three point three QBR, which happens

to be right now twenty five in the NFL. How about you get your ankle your shoulder right, how about you understand what you're supposed to do in this new offense instead of talking about that. It's funny that a female would talk about routes. I think it's completely legitimate. I think it's ridiculous that Cam Newton would say this. I am no longer talking about hashtag All quarterbacks matter. We're gonna find something out and could be interesting. It

could be interesting out there. They could be clamoring for something around this this situation bears watching, so I wanted to talk about that. I know we're up against the break. up as well that I want to talk about. What should the Chargers, their leadership, and the NFL do given the fan response in l A telling you man, they're getting booed in their home stadium. They can't fill the stadium and it's only twenty five thousand people. We're gonna talk about this a little bit more, but check this out. Here's what other people are saying. Some people are saying, E none of the above contract the Chargers. I think that's a little bit crazy. Stephen Harris out there on

Twitter saying what were they expecting? Everyone knew this was going to happen. I got some people saying they would love to see an NFL team move up to Canada. Remember the Bills talked about going up to Toronto before I got another team. Listen, check this out, sell the team and the Spanos should move to Russia and then a little bit of derogatory language for Dean Spanos and his family. Another person saying, contract the Chargers they should fold Clayton Trey Hands saying kind of damned if you

do and damned if you don't. That situation with the Chargers in l A. We're gonna talk about this a little bit more when we come back. We're also gonna open up the phone lines. Listen, check this out with the Chargers last week in l A. In the l A market, the Chargers were the fifth most watched NFL game in Week four, the fifth highest rated game in l A. It was even behind the London game. And don't forget in l A. The London

game started at six in the morning. Okay, there were more people watching that game in l A than watching the Chargers game. It has become a haven for road fans. The Philadelphia crowd was big out there in the StubHub Center on Sunday. They were booing the Chargers. The Chargers had to consider going to a silent snap count on offense at home. I think that's absolutely crazy. They can't feel their stadium, the StubHub Center, which seats only about

twenty five thousand. Imagine when they move into a real football stadium and share it with the rams that Cronky's building in a couple of years. I think it's only I think it's a good thing for the charges they get out of l A, both in the short term and in the long term. In the short term, they're gonna be here in New York at MetLife Stadium taking on the Giants. It's a one o'clock kickoff Eastern time.

You know how I feel about those West Coast teams traveling across country for one o'clock kick But um, I digress. I'm I'm getting a little hot here on a Wednesday. We gotta chill out, your boys. You know, I got billion, I got dead, and I got Gyrie kill

on this Broaden law. So I said, okay, I give it forward to kind of giveaway a j even though I didn't want to. All right, My whole thing was running back. So now, how do you see Doug Martin going forward? And should I look on the wave of wire now and find you know, all these guys are available. Murray's available and mcgannon's available. Uh, the guys in the Giants available, but one guy that I think might be interesting is to back up in San Diego or Um. Yeah, listen,

let me tell you something. And thanks for to call Pete. Okay, Um, yes, I think I would prefer Eckler over some of the names you mentioned, over the Minnesota guys, over Gallman. I would because you know you're here in New York. I don't think Gallman is a real thing. Okay, they're gonna go back to Perkins and dark Wall, those kind of folks, And why buy into the Giants run game? Anyway? I like Eckler over the guys you mentioned, especially cause Melvin

Gordon doesn't look right. He's a little bit banged up. Listen with the trade you're talking about, it sounds like you have wide receivers so that you could have shopped and got a J. Green and you got Aaron Rodgers in the deal, right, So I can't really complain with any deal with you get Aaron Rodgers. You asked me about Doug Martin. Here's the thing, Okay, I like Doug Martin. Okay, we're gonna teach him how to Dougie. I like Doug Martin.

The holy thing is I don't think he's gonna do a ton tomorrow night in his first game back, even against the New England Patriots, who has been one of the hardest, most the worst defense in the entire NFL. I think that he's gonna have to work into it. I like Doug Martin, Okay, but don't don't panic because you just said you panicked a little bit when you lost some guys. Don't panic if Doug Martin doesn't look

like he's producing like tomorrow and even in week six. Okay, Doug Martin ultimately will be a kind of a low end RB two in my opinion, So I like that move. Just don't run away from him if he doesn't produce right off the bat. aren't excited about him. But if you have Gore on your team, you know he you know, I mean he's he's okay. And I like his matchup against San Francisco. Remember San Francisco had the worst rushing defense in NFL history last year. So I'm okay with Gore. And as long as Matt Forte is out, I like my man Boom boom bilal pal Pal. When it comes to Latavius Murray, he's gonna be sharing. He's gonna be sharing that backfield with Jerick McKinnon out there on Monday night against Chicago.

And I think Latin Murray is actually the like goal line in between the tackles, the first and second down and back. I don't buy Latavius Murray. I think he's touchdown dependent. I think he's just a guy. Remember the Viking he's signed Latavius Murray in the off season, and then what they do. They turned around and drafted Dalvin Cook. So they knew that Latavius Murray was not a guy that could be a workhorse for them. And even without Cook there, I don't think he will be. I think

Jared McKinnon will eat into his workload. I think McKinnon will eat into Murray's workload more than anyone like Marl and Mac or anybody will eat into Gore or Elijah McGuire would eat into Powell. So for that, out of Gore, Powell and Murray, I think Murray is the guy left without a chair when the music stops. Thanks for the call, Jason. We go to Israel out there in Indiana. on your team. Okay, the Dolphins got shut out. Basically they haven't scored points and Jay Cutler people are starting to understand that there's a reason Jay Cutler was retiring, right, And uh, I just think that the New England Patriots offense is a lot more explosive. Granted, there's more options there with Hogan and Amazola and Gronk, but I like the fact that Gronk is now on the injury report. I like the fact that the Tampa Bay secondary is

think Jared Goff is a completely viable quarterback right now, Jeff. Listen, the Rams have the number one offense in the NFL. They're scoring thirty five and a half points a game. Okay, Todd Gurley has been a revelation in the passing game. You got Cooper Cup in the slot, Watkins and Woods. I actually believe, if you listen to the Fantasy freestyle, you know, I believe the Rams under Sean McVeigh are another one now of these offenses where the sum is

greater than the parts. Okay, and the sum is Jared Goff. I am completely comfortable with you rocking Jared Goff and uh, you know Dalton or Simeon, But I would start Jared Goff. Okay, I I know, I know it's Seattle. I know it's Seattle, but Seattle their their second quarterback. Jeremy Lange got banged up on Sunday night, and you could avoid Richard Sherman. And that Seattle defense is not what it once was.

You got the number one offense in the NFL. I think Jared Goff is absolutely okay, and I think he's gonna work the middle of the field with guys like Cooper Cup and Todd Gurley. I am okay with that. I also think they need to stop these London games. It is not worth it. The impact on the schedule is bad. Remember those teams didn't have a by and both the Jags and the Ravens lost last week a little bit worse than I think they should have. The Jags losing to the Jets given up fake punts and nonsense, and the Ravens did not

look good against Leafy on Bell and the Steelers. And also the games out there are a bad quality. Okay, yesterday last week the Saints beat the Dolphins twenty to nothing. That's a dog trash game. The Jags beat the Ravens for four to seven. That's not enticing fans to come out for the NFL. I don't think, you know, I don't think it's working. I think they need to cut the chord on this experiment. They're gonna have two more games and check this out in Week seven, Cardinals verse Rams.

Are you excited to see that? I don't know. Yeah, the Rams offense looks good, but are you excited? Really? The Cardinals, they're they're not really doing anything right now. They're not gonna all of a sudden inspire fans to be people down with the NFL. And then the following week, Week eight, Vikings Browns. You're gonna send the Browns over there as the representative of the NFL and look to create a buzz. I don't necessarily think that's gonna happen.

And he's the other thing they're talking about. They want to play, have a team out there in London, or have a whole European division. Who's gonna sign up as a free agent? So I want to do that. Who's gonna sign with this team to have to have that kind of travel schedule. What coach is gonna want to have that kind of schedule in those players? I don't think it's going to work. I think they need to cut the court, to be quite honest. What I think they need to do instead, put a team in Mexico City,

put a team in Canada. That's a big difference. Okay, the Mexico City games, you got people that turn out. I say, put a team in Mexico City before you put a team in London. That's what I personally would say. I don't think anyone's gonna want to go out there and play for that team. I think whether it's the Chargers, the Jaguars, or anybody else, they need to uh scrap that idea. I submit Mexico City as your first international option,
