Now that college football is over, the Heisman has been awarded, the Army Navy game has concluded, and the bowl season is upon us, the NFL adds Saturday games to the schedule meeting. There is the NFL on Monday, on Thursday, on Saturday, and on Sunday. So my pole question tonight we ask you, is four days a week too much? Is it overkill? Does it saturated too much? Or do you love it? Is it just more chance to see

your leagues and win that cash. But we start, as always with news and notes around the NFL and Wednesday, if you listen to the show, you know Wednesday is a big practice report day. Okay, it's the first time that teams in the week half the issue actually injury reports and practices. We'll see who did not practice, say who was limited, and uh, you know it's a full go.

This will set the baseline, and then on Thursday and Friday editions of the Fantasy Freestyle, we'll see who's trending in the right direction to play and who unfortunately is not. Before we start, if you haven't heard by now, Aaron Rodgers has been cleared to return. If everything looks like he's actually going to go for the Packers under center here in week fifteen. The only problem is they got

the Carolina Panthers. I know that recently they've been you know, less strong defensively, especially giving it up to the quarterback in the wide receiver position, but they are a very physical team too. I like Aaron Rodgers, but I do think that there are some other quarterbacks that you can start over him this week in your semi finals. Let's

get to the practice reports. Though not practicing early in the week now, in some cases, especially with veterans, they just you know, give them this kind of off day to kind of manage their reps throughout the week. So, like I said, we gotta check later on in the week. But this one is still a serious one. Joe Mixon is still in the concussion protocol um. He has not

returned yet to practice or any kind of activity. Really, if he doesn't make it back, that means Giovanni Bernard I would fire up as an RB two moving forward. Here's the thing, though, Giovanni Bernard himself is only limited in practice today. He has a knee injury. So you gotta keep an eye on the Cincinnati Bengals running back situation moving forward. Leonard Fournette did not practice this time

with a quad. Okay, it's like the knee bones connected to the hip bone, the hip bones connected to the ankle bone. Whatever. It is something with Leonard Fournette all the time. Remember you had the ankle before. Now it is a quad, So keep an eye out on that. They might just be managing his reps. We'll see what Leonard Fournette does tomorrow. Alan Hearns did not practice. To me, he's still coming back from that ankle injury. That's what

keeps D D. Westbrook relevant. Remember I said on Tuesday's show yesterday that if Alan Hearns comes back, then I think D. D. Westbrook is compromised. I think it's a downgrade from Marquis Lee as well, if that were to happen, because like don't think that the Jaguars pass offense is enough to support three wide receivers. But Alan hern is still not back at practice just yet. Tevin Coleman not practicing today either. He is still in the concussion protocol.

Remember they got an extra day because the Falcon Zone play until Monday night at Tampa Bay. But if that doesn't happen, oh boy, does that mean DeVante Freeman will have loads of opportunity. This is a big one. This is probably a guy who has relied on on playoff teams. Kyle Rudolph is in a walking boots still, he's got an ankle injury. He did not practice. That could be real doubt for that game the Minnesota Vikings. They went welcome the Cincinnati Bengals up there to Minnesota. Marii Cooper

is still not practicing. Remember that's the ankle, not the concussion. He's good to go because of the concussion, but that ankle injury is still a problem. Remember he did come back and play, but then got banged up in the middle of the game. The ankle is still an issue for a Marii Cooper and Adrian Peterson did not practice this because of a neck injury. Also, everyone down there in Arizona they're saying they have no idea whether he will play again this season or not. They may in

fact shut him down. The Cardinals are not contending. I told you about Giovanni Bernard around with Cincinnati, still limited in practice to other guys limited, both of them in Buffalo. Kelvin Benjamin and Shady McCoy are nursing knee injuries that they may be kind of reaggravated or tweeked in the snow in that last game. They are limited today. I think they're both gonna go unless they have some kind of setback. Zach Ertz back practicing, he's cleared the concussion protocol.

Tyrod Taylor getting starters reps in Buffalo. Remember, Nate Peterman is in the concussion protocol. So it looks like they may go back to Tyrod against the Miami Dolphins this week. Tyrod nursing that knee injury that he sustained when he was carded off a couple of weeks ago. Maybe back in the saddle for the Buffalo Bills. All Right, as I mentioned, I want to talk about these Saturday games. I love these Saturday games. But the question thing is, maybe it's a little too far, Maybe it's a little

too much, you know what I mean? I mean games on Monday and on Thursday and on Saturday and on Sunday. Listen. I love it. Okay, I'll watch football seven nights a week if it's on. Okay, but does that like impact your quality of life? You know? On on UM, a lot of block live recently, Tony Sankata and I we found a day where there was only like three games on the NBA slate and we were like, this is the perfect night to go on out and take your wife to dinner, go on out and spend some time

with your kids, whatever the case may be. But now with football on Saturday and Sunday and Thursday, when do you have that opportunity. I'll tell you what, I love it, but I'm not mad if other people are saying it is a little too much. And that's why I ask you that pole question. Is it too much for you right now? Fifty one percent of you say nope, it works for me. Percent say it is a little bit too much, and say you love it. What your family

is a different idea. One of the games that will happen on Saturday that I mentioned that I think is a big game is the Los Angeles Clippers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Remember, both of these teams with seven and six records, tied for first place in the a f C West. The Oakland Raiders are right behind them. So let me tell you right now how I see this game going. Okay, these teams were trending in different directions. The Chargers are hot like liquid hot magma. The Chiefs

not so much. They did, however, bounce back last week in a game against the Oakland Raiders, and the Chiefs are at home. So I'm gonna go against the grain here. I know everyone loves the Chargers. Everyone loves the Chargers in this game. I actually think the Chiefs at home make a statement. You know what else about the Saturday games. It now fits the narrative that I'm talking about my home dogs. Remember I talked about the home dogs on

Thursday nights the home dogs on Monday nights. Well, I think in these spotlight game scenarios where you have the national audience, the home dog, you know, has even more incentive. More eyes are on him when you're the spotlight game. My home dog angle, I think works even more. And right now the Chiefs are one point home dog. So I I you know how I love the Charges. I've been talking about how I think the Charges can make

the playoffs. At the beginning of the season, I thought the Chargers were the second best team in this division, and now it is trending in that way. But you also know that I like to fade the public. I like to zig when everybody else zags. Everybody is on the Charges. Two weeks ago, we had a poll question up in seventy percent of you thought the Chargers would win the a f C West, Only like twelve had the Chiefs. So I'm gonna tell you what. I'm gonna

go the other way. I think Kareem Hunt, you know, kind of bounce back a little bit last game. He got a bunch of carries. I believe he got over twenty carries for the first time in a long time last week. I think they realize that that's where their bread is buttered. That combined with the aggressive downfield shots to Tyree Kill. You know, you have Kelsey working the intermediate route. I think these Chiefs are all about scheme.

Will it continue happen? Will they continue that aggressiveness. I think they will have an opportunity to do so on the Los Angeles side. Let me tell you something. Remember how I have my narrative about the fantasy Herd. You know, like when you play a little bit of Whackable, you never know. I think it's sort of crystallizing for the Chargers. Back in the day, the Chargers were definitely heard. Tyrell Williams,

maybe Travis Benjamin, maybe Gates Henry, Gordon Allan. But what's happened is Keenan Allen has ascended and taken over one of those true kind of target monster, workhorse bell cow wide receiver kind of roles. He is now entrenched as a firm wide receiver one for your fantasy team and as the number one option for the Los Angeles Chargers. I think there is a clear number two option as well,

and I think that's Hunter Henry. I think Hunter Henry continues to ascend, continues to grow, and I think he will eat today or on Saturday against a Kansas City Chiefs defense. That's why Hunter Henry and Kareem Hunt are my diamonds and the rough for this Saturday game. Um for for Gayzes. I know I just said that. I think the Chiefs will continue to be aggressive and go downfield. I just don't think they're gonna connect this time around.

I think now the Charges know that Tyreek Hill is where the bread is buttered when they want to be aggressive when they go downhill. I think that the big play streak for Tyreek Hill, I think it gets snapped. I think Casey Hayward has the ability to kind of prevent those big time places. I think that's gonna be their focus. As I mentioned National Audience Spotlight game in Kansas City in Arrowhead, when they hit those big plays, the Tyreek Hilled, that's what kind of like ignites the crowd.

I think it will be their focus to try to take away Tyreek Hill. I think Tyreek Hill will get end a rounds. I think he'll get bubble screens, but I do not think he will connect with Alex Smith on one of those bombs down the field. So I'm gonna have Tyreek Hill as my fantasy Foo Gazy today in the Saturday night game, I think you can forget about tyng what what is means? Yeah, I think Tyreek Hill is gonna be a little phony. But in this battle of a f C West, I like the Chiefs

to win a very very close game. You know. Also with the Charges, if you're a Charges fan, you know sometimes Philip Rivers does bad fourth quarter picks, they miss kicks. I think something like that will happen and undermine the Charges. Give it to me the Chiefs twenty three is we're gonna do. We'll opening up the phone lines right now. is already out. They got other injuries in the secondary. I like case Keenum. Of the three you mentioned, I do not necessarily like Alex Smith because the Chargers, the Charges past defense is great and Bosa and Ingram gets pressure. I would go Keenum there at quarterback. What were the other ones you had wide out? What give me the other position you got, Mike, Yeah, I had a crab Tree, uh Agahore and Watkins. I'm gonna go crab Tree and I'm gonna go Watkins. Kareem Hunt is gonna be decent this game. I like Kareem Hunt because the Chargers are really strong against the past, less so against the run. I don't know if you saw that on Sunday Night Football, they were saying that the the one buggaboo of the Steelers defense is giving up the big play. And Cooks is this big play receiver for New England. So I like Brandon Cooks. I love Marquis Goodwin this week and a plus match up against I believe it is the Houston Texans.

I like um, oh, excuse me, or Tennessee. It's one of those a f C South teams they're playing, and both of them give it up in the past game. So I like Cooks and I like Goodwin. If you could flex one of them, I would also think about flexing Funchius. I'm off juju because there's just so many mouths in Pittsburgh right now with Martevis Bryant back in there. I told you that Tyreek Hill was my fool gazey

in this Saturday night game. And I like Robert Woods, but I wouldn't run him out there with your playoffs on the line in his first game back after about a month off. I think they could be winning in their matchup, and you know the Browns are gonna be down. So I like Duke Johnson. He's the guy I would go with john how's that sound for you? What? Al right? I think now maybe Aaron Rodgers is gonna be a kind of a shootout back and forth. I think McCaffrey is the

guy you want to put in there. I know how great Landry is usually, especially in PPR leagues, but you know he might get you one of those like eight for forty three kind of games. long term Patriots fan, I would be concerned. I think, listen, if you have Tom Brady, you can run him out. My problem with Brady, and I said it in the show a couple of days ago, I don't think he's gonna make it through the season. Um listen that he's already missing practice days because of the Achilles. He's getting hit a lot more than in previous years, right, and it's just the law of averages, Pete, you know, I mean his career has been like seventeen years. He's only

had one major injury. You know, five six quarterbacks go down every week. You're telling me, just because of avocados and uggs, that he's able to get through it. I don't think so, and and and and when we get to this time of year, you're gonna start seeing like you know, they're gonna start seeing elite pass rushers. What happens if the Pats are a two seed and the Jags are the three seed, you know they're gonna be

coming after him. So no, And in fantasy on a week tweek basis like, if you have Tom Brady, I'm starting him this week in your playoffs. I think it's absolutely fine. But my concern with Brady is if he makes it through the season. That is why. If you remember I said I have the Pittsburgh Steelers coming out of the a f C. I said at the beginning of the preseason. I said it again a couple of weeks ago. My revised Super Bowl pick is the Steelers

in the Saints. If you want to know the truth, So yes, And that's part of why I have a long term concern. I think someone's gonna ring his bell. All right, all right, I'll talk to you soon. Jamal Williams. I think Jamal Williams has taken control of that backfield in Green Bay. He gets work in the past game as well, so in your PPR format, I like that, and I like Latin Murray this week. Um, Jimmy, let me tell you why. I think they're so gameflow dependent in games that the vikings are in closer games and then you need Jack McKinnon. But I think they're

gonna do work against the Cincinnati Bengals. I think they're gonna take care of business, and I think they're gonna try and park the bus in the second half by running the ball a lot. So to me, that is Latavius Murray. So I like lat Murray and I like Jamal Williams in that situation. I hope it works out for you, Jimmy. Manny Sanders hasn't gone over twenty yards in like a month and a half, right, And I just don't like this passing game which now under center and Diggs man, you know,

I love Stefan, can you digs hit? But the truth is, since coming back from that groin injury, the big plays haven't been there. They've tried to get them the ball a little bit, They've tried to hit them even on running plays and end a rounds, and it just hasn't come. Now. I know there's gonna be another game, whether it's this week, whether it's next week with Stefon Diggs blows up, but I don't know if I can count on it now when I have other options like Goodwin and Adams. So

that's where I would go. What do you think, Ventra, I feel you on that because feelings didn't number one guy now without a doubt, So absolutely I like that. But I will tell you this though, Kyle Rudolph in a walking boots. Still. If Kyle Rudolph doesn't play, then I gotta boost Digs up a little bit, you know, absolutely.

And the thing with Adams, though, that worries me, is that, um now that Rogers is coming back most likely, you know, I don't know if the amount of targets he's been getting for Adams, yeah yeah, But you think everybody's just gonna all of a sudden, all of a sudden, Jordy Nelson is gonna be back like the wide to say, I don't think so. I think Adams is still gonna be the Yeah, I'd still start him absolutely, That's what I'm saying. All right, fair enough, we gotta time for
