We love all the ladies because you know, fancy football is not only for guys out there, so I appreciate anybody of the fairer gender that is listening or watching. Let me give you my news and notes from around the NFL today. First
of all, we have a trade. Remember I told you trades are few and far between, and I talked about how maybe one of these wide receivers might get traded to the Bears. Yesterday they checked the tape. I told you, maybe like a guy like Carell prior maybe a guy like Kenny Britt who knows what's going on with Martevis Brian. Although we have an update on that in a minute. But in fact, the Los Angeles Chargers have traded a
wide receiver to the Chicago Bears for a seventh round pick. Okay, and if you watch It's always sunny in Philadelphia, you know who I'm talking about. It is Don trelle the Inman who the fighter of the night Man. Don trelle Inman has been traded by the Chargers to the Bears for a seventh round pick. I guess this is a guy who's gonna get some opportunity. But remember, if you remember I said this last yesterday, I am looking at some of these teams with bad offenses, and the Bears
are one of them. They won a game with Mitch Trabinski throwing like seven passes all game when you were a quarterback. Is a rookie that's throwing less than ten passes? Why would you invest in a wide receiver in men was not able to really get on the field behind guys like Terrell Williams, Keenan Alan, Travis Benjamin and others with the charges. So I don't know. I like his size, I like his frame, but I don't think he's really going to affect change for the Chicago Bears. Also, I
told you about Martavis Bryant. A lot of updates out of Pittsburgh today. Listen, he was crying like a little baby all right, I'm talking about how he wants out going on Instagram and all this stuff. So checking this out today, all of these things happened today. One big Ben said, quote unquote, they have to get the ball to Martevis, okay. So Ben was started trying to like maybe boost up his confidence, trying to smooth it all over and be like, yo, we gotta work him in. Okay,
we gotta work him in. Then we get word that Martavis Bryant actually ran with the scout team in practice today. They're saying that that was something of like a punishment for him calling and sick. Remember he did that earlier in the week when Mike Tomlin was asked why, he just said social media. Okay. There obviously at their wits end, it sounds like Bryant wants to work a trade. I
don't think it's going to happen. And uh. Then they're also getting word right now that Martevis Briant is going to be a healthy scratch and gonna be inactive this week for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night as they play against the Detroit Lions. Interesting to note also in that wide receiver room, my guy Juju Smith Schuster. He's working that good juju. He is back practicing in full Remember he was in the concussion protocol and that brings
me again to that poll. Do you think that's what I want to know today this hour on the Fantasy Freestyle. Do you think like it's cool these days for players to be working social media to try and leverage their way in trade. I say it's ridiculous. He made the flight to London. He's traveling with the
team to go to this London game. I think this is a very good sign. He also got in a limited practice, which is something that has not happened in the last couple of weeks. These are all positive signs for Stefon Digs playing in Week eight against the Cleveland Browns. I don't know if I would ride out with him.
Could he still be a decoy? I'm not sure, But if he plays, I guess you gotta put him in your lineup because you don't want uh him to absolutely go off with him on your bench, Allah Amari Cooper last week. Also, the Panthers have signed Roberto Aguayo to their practice squad. Remember I mentioned how a couple of kickers were trying out for the Panthers as Graham gonno insurance. I'm actually glad for the kid, you know. I hope
he gets a second chance in the NFL. Remember, expectations were so high after Tampa Bay traded up to get him in the draft and also in that London game. Also, the Cleveland Browns are going back to Deshaun Kaiser for Week eight. I am completely against this. I don't understand what Hugh Jackson is thinking. This is a guy they said that he learned a lot by his benching, He missed a game that he apparently learned a lot, then went back in as the starter last week and was
pulled for being ineffective last week. Now they're gonna go back to the kid. And why go back to the kid when you're facing the Minnesota Vikings, one of the better defenses in football. Then they have a bye after the London game. Why not just rest him aft until after the bye and then come out and be like we're gonna go back to the kid. We think he's learned a lot, then why go back to him right when they're playing the Minnesota Vikings. I think that is
a horrible move by head coach Hugh Jackson. But then again, the Browns continue to be a dumpster fire. We do have some practice reports here. Michael Thomas did not practice today. He's nursing a knee injury. This is something new and something to watch, especially because Willie Sneed is back practicing
for the Saints. I am very intrigued on what will happen in the Saints wide receiver group this week when you have Michael Thomas not practicing, Willie Sneed back practicing, and of course you know my man Ted Finn Jr. Who is also out there and available in about half of leagues. If Michael Thomas doesn't go, you need to snap him up right now. Also, remember week kicks off tomorrow with Thursday Night Football. Davante Parker is going to
be a game time decision. He did get into a limited work in practice, but he is going to be a true questionable game time decision. That game only twenty four hours away. We'll see what happens with him. On the Ravens side to check us out. Jeremy Macklin will be questioned, Ben Watson will be questionable, Mike Wallace will be questionable. All of this is just more reason to fade the Ravens offense. Also, we've got practice Paxson Lynch returning to practice for the Denver Broncos. Okay, might he
be an option if Trevor Simeon continues to falter? Excuse me, guys, all right, we're here on the fantasy freestyle what I wanted to do. I'm not high on a lot of these options, to be quite honest, because Will Fuller, he's at Seattle with that legion of boom as well, right,
they got that secondary on. I remember Will full of what he does is go over the top for big plays, and they got Earl Thomas back there Rollman in center field. So I don't like that match per se. I don't really like Will Fuller's match up. And Manny Sanders is just coming back. I'm I gotta tell you, man, I don't like many of these. I think Cooks you gotta have in. I think Buck Allen you gotta have in. And if Manny Sanders is healthy, I take him over
will Fuller. I don't think this is a week Fuller gets into the end Zone. I gotta tell you the truth, Simon. If Manny Sanders is back, I'd take him over Will Fuller. But here's the thing. If Golden Tate doesn't play, then yeah, I like Marvin Jones, okay, but if Golden Tate is in that lineup, and surprise, Golden Tate was actually practicing today, so he may try to grind it out and play on Sunday night. And if that is the case, then yeah, go ahead with Josh Dotson, Okay, But if Tate is out of the lineup, then I think Marvin Jones has to be the play. All right. Thanks for the call, Steve.

Okay, I think you gotta do that for Aaron Jones. I
would do that for Aaron Jones. Okay, listen, I know, I know that Jacksonville defense has been study and and they're getting like ten sacks, which is awesome. You're probably winning weeks because of your Jacksonville defense. The question is
does that continue all season long? You know? I mean, I think the gap here's the way you gotta look at it, uh Dan, The gap between a back like Aaron Jones who's producing week in and week out to your like Jets backs that you have is bigger than the gap between you know, the Jacksonville defense and another defense that you can find on a week to week basis. Okay, So while you've you looked it into a great defense, I think part of the reason you have that is
maybe you could parlay it into a better chip. And a better chip for you is another running back that you can feel comfortable about starting week in and week out along with Davonte Freeman. So I don't think he's gonna return that value for you. It sounds to me like you would be the guy getting David Johnson. Um, I don't know if I'm right or not. But I wouldn't do it. I would try And if you're the guy dealing from a position to strength with these three
good quarterbacks, I'd look elsewhere. Is I right? John? Are you the one may getting DJ back? That's that well, that's correct. Yeah, And I'm trying to sell it to the guy who he has DJ and he he also had Aaron Rodgers, so he's looking for Yeah. No, I hear you, man, But I'm telling you, unless this is some kind of dynasty keeper league, I wouldn't do it. I do not believe David Johnson sees the field again
in any meaningful way. He might come back in week seventeen, but that doesn't help you a week sixteen, but unless you're in your championship, that doesn't help you. Would you really ride him out after that long layoff in your fantasy championship? I wouldn't, all right, So, uh, I would not make that move. I think Mohammed Sannu will return at least solid value as the number two wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. Remember he had ten targets in his return to the Falcons against the New England Patriots, So I like new greater than sign Terrell prior rest of season. Meatball also asked about d D Westbrook. D D Westbrook, who is coming back in a couple of weeks for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Here's the thing, though, Meatball, I don't believe in the
Jacksonville Jaguars passing game. Remember Blake Bortles has now won two games, you know, throwing like eight completions. So if that's all the production in the passing game you're gonna get, why invest in one of those wide receivers. There's also leon out there, markis Lee Alan hearns just too many options and that runs through Leonard for net So no, Meatball.
I think d D. The skill is there, and it might be interesting in a dynasty league, but I wouldn't start him for a team that passes for like a hundred fifty yards a game, so I'd stay away from that, Meatball. The last call we had was Jack in New Jersey. You couldn't get to you today, Jack, and I apologize, but it sounds like your question was about Buck Allen, and I'm gonna tell you, yeah, I think Buck Allen is viable this week Thursday Night Football tomorrow against the Dolphins.
And most of the reason why is because Jeremy Macklin may not go, Mike Wallace may not go. Benjamin Watson also questionable. Who else is there for this Ravens offense? And you know Joe Flacco doesn't have the confidence to throw the ball around. I think it's a lot of checkdowns and dump down to Buck Allen if he's good to go. So yeah, Jack out there in New Jersey, if you're still listening, I would in fact ride with Buck Allen if he's like your best option, uh this
