Okay, I'm gonna give you some news and notes things since the last time we spoke on Tuesday, because it is a Thursday show. I'm gonna give you some DFS thoughts as you look to build some lineups over there on Fan Duel and on DraftKings. Okay, I'm gonna give you

some defense is that you can stream this week. Streaming defenses has been a viable strategy for us on the Stats over Beat Cipher all season long. I've been giving you guys like Indianapolis, Okay, Dallas defenses like that that you can pick up and stream and get points from. Okay, so we're gonna do that as well. I'm also very intrigued in Week nine. There's some very interesting spotlight games

and some very very small spreads. There's something like four games right now where the point spread is like a one point basically or less or pick them all right, So we're gonna talk about those and then and our third segment, we're gonna put the fun and functional sports radio as we always do. Okay, with the Stats over Beat Cipher. I got a new remix from my guys young cause the effect the trapped game, my stro So

All right, here's what we're gonna to Um, let's get into some of these news and notes since last time I spoke to you, And to be honest, I'm gonna start with breaking news as of the last half hour that is applicable for Thursday night football that kicks off at about an hour. Okay, we got one of those dog ish games, okay, a dumpster fire game of the Oakland Raiders in the San

Francisco forty nine. Is these are two teams that combined for like two wins right now, Okay, So it's not a sexy game by any means, and it just got worse. Why because C J. Bethard, the quarterback for the San Francisco forty Niners, who it's not like I love him, but he's gonna be ruled out, so that leads it to Nick Mullins. Oh, that's exactly my point, Nick Mullins, let me tell you something. He's going to defecate the

mattress tonight. This move ruling Bethard out, okay, was enough to move the line from San Francisco being a three point favorite at home to them being a one and a half point home dog on Thursday Night football. I'm staying away from this game. I'm telling you guys right now. I don't care if Breathe is playing or not. I don't care if you like you know the Doug Martin Jalen Richard combo, if you think Jordie Nelson is about to eat in a replace of Amari Cooper, I don't care.

I'm staying away from this game. This game makes me want to puke. I have no part of it, all right, so I'm not betting it. Although put a gun to my head, I'd say the Oakland Raiders can take out Nick Mullins and get their second win of the season. Other quarterback news It's gonna be brock Oswilder again for the Miami Dolphins against the New York Jets, the j E t s Jets, Jets Jets this week in Miami.

And that's interesting. Some people were thinking that maybe Tannehill was about to, uh, you know, come on back and be back in the saddle for the Dolphins. That is not the case. It's gonna be brock Osweiler once again. So I wanted to keep you know, keep your eye out on that. And what what this means to me is Danny Amondola continue to ride him out. It seems

like brock Oswilder really heavily targets Danny amon Dola. He's had something like twenty plus targets in his last three games, all right, So that's who maybe stands to benefit from brock us while they're still being there. Listen, you know my deal with the injuries at this point, it's really about how they're trending, right, So all I can say is keep an eye and guys like Stefon Diggs, right, um, he's probably gonna play. It's probably gonna be fine. Keep

an eye out on that. Mike Evans, the same, Tyreek Hill, the same. You know, Cooper Krupp is also trending in the right direction as well. Dalvin Cook is back out there and limited, but who knows. You know, Alan Robinson didn't practice today, but maybe he will on Friday. You gotta keep your eyes out on some of these players, you know. I mean, Antonio Callaway added to the injury report for Cleveland. You know, like I said, Tyreek Hill downgraded.

So there's a lot of people out there you gotta see. I mean, Big Ben practiced in full, He'll be fine. Kick Hugh is back with limited practice. So those are things, um, you know, those are things that you gotta keep an eye on for that. All right, here's what we're gonna do. Let's see what else we got here besides the injuries. Here's here's an interesting point that I made earlier in the show. I've heard Steve Young talking out this and I want to see if you agree. As it relates

to Tampa Bay. The Jamis Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick kind of back again. Where's the magic? You know I mentioned before that Ryan Fitzpatrick may be what gives them the best chance to win right now, right and that's what Dirt Cutter is doing because his asses on the line. That's getting real hot under his bum, right, But the organization still needs to see what Jamis has as a twenty four year old former number one overall pick. Right, And I was saying yesterday or on Tuesday, Hi, I

would start Jamis because you gotta find out. Like they're not contending right now. But I understand that Dirk Cutter, trying to save his job, is gonna give him go with who he thinks has the best chance wins. We can win some games and stay employed. Right. Steve Young said something really interesting, and I think I agree with it. He said, he you know, you need to find out about Jamis. You need to put some pressure on Jamis.

You need to have Jamis on a short leash. You need to name Jamis the starter, but then also tell him listen if you throw any picks. Fitzpatrick's coming in, you know, and you need to put the pressure on him and see if he can take care of the ball and still be any kind of dynamic quarterback. I like that idea. That's honestly what I would do if I were the uh Dampa Bay Buccaneers. But it brings

me to my poll question. You know, because we talk about things that we've seen like, um, you know, we've seen, uh in Jacksonville, the back and forth of will it be Cody Kessler, you know, will it be Blake Bortles. We've seen this back and forth in UH Tampa. We've seen this happen in Miami. I mentioned brock Oswildo. We've been talking about the New York Football Giants situation as well. Right this idea of like is Eli Dunn do they

need do they need to see what they have? And the kid like Tanny or the kid Kyle Loletta, who's going through his own problems right now. So it made me think, and that's the poll question for today as well. I'm asking you who has the worst long term quarterback situation in the NFL right now? And my options are the Bucks, the Jaguars, the Giants or the Dolphins. Thank you to the over hundreds of people who have all de voted right now. The Giants running away with it.

We'll check in on that a little bit later on in the show. All Right, you guys know about the trades already by now. I talked about him on Tuesday. Golden Tates moved along Kenny Golladay is the man there. Now. I think that stands to you know, ascend same in Houston. Damarius Thomas is over in Houston clearing away for Courtland Sutton and Denver time Montgomery over to Baltimore for seventh round pick. I think that just adds to the herd in Baltimore, you know, have three running backs, like four

tight ends and three wide receivers. Um, Dante Fowler to the Rams. I think that makes them even more scary from the pass rush from the edge. They were getting it all up the middle. Now they got it from the edge as well. And haha, Clinton Dix traded as well to the Washington football team. I think that's it. Actually under the radar, big time move for the Washington football team is they look to maintain their game and

a half lead in the n f C East. Al Right, I say that, and I reference again the trades that happened. Why because honestly, I think that's where you look for some DFS thoughts, all right, And that's that's that's what I um, that's what I think is important. Um. I think you gotta look at that for some place because as I always mentioned, the prices come out early in the week. The prices came out on Monday before the

trading deadline. Okay, so there are now some um efficiencies and advantages that you can gain because of the trading deadline. And that's where I focus in right now. You probably know it already because I've been saying it for a little while, right, but listen, Courtland Sutton. Courtland Sutton is only undred on fantol okay, and that's his price. As though he was the third wide receiver, he's now the

second wide receiver. Alright. I think Courtland Sutton. Listen, you look, he's accurately priced if you look at his game log and what he's been doing right before or the six kind of targets. But he's not gonna be standing to get that Damarrius Thomas kind of production, all right. So I love me some Courtland Sutton at fifty hundred. I have him in my DFS lineups this week. Another wide receiver.

You know where I'm going. It's a byproduct of the trade, right And if you really down the statute of beat Cipher, you definitely know that, uh, I gotta sing this song, right, So who stands to reason to get more targets in Detroit. Now that they traded Golden tadeaway. You know who it is, it would be It would be so nice. Gota Day and Golladay is only as sixty two hundred, so I can get my wide receivers Courtland Sutton at fifty five, Canaday at sixty two, And that's gonna allow me to

spend up who am I gonna spend up? Four? I gotta feeling. Listen, Adam Deland's got in a hundred yards in every single game so far this season. I don't think it's gonna be any different at home against Detroit. Yes, I know Detroit is number seven in the NFL against the pass. I know about Big Place sligh, but I don't care. You know, Adam Thelon every single week does it? And listen he also won two, three, four, five, six six touchdowns on the year. He's scored a touchdown in

all but two games. Right, so I'm all over this And listen. You know you're like, oh, Detroit is seventh in the league against the past. Guess what the Rams were eighth in the league against the past. What do you do against them? Eight in a tudd Guess what the Buffalo Bills, who we faced in September was six against the past. What do you do against them? First of all, he got nineteen targets, fourteen catches, a hundred and five yards, no touchdown, seventeen point five fantasy points

on FanDuel. That's why I'm going with Golladay, Sutton and Adam Feeling. Okay, um my quarterback this week. Let me tell you something. You know I've been talking about attacking the Tampa Bay defense. Well I'm doing that again this week, and I'm doing it with Cam Newton. Okay, they get on the offensive side, they're gonna turn the ball over. Fitz is gonna throw some picks. Okay, but this is still a high scoring Game's gonna be back and forth

stuff like that. And give me Cam Newton. He is the second most expensive UM quarterback on the DFS slate. But I love Cam Newton. Okay, I like that. Listen. He's facing the thirty in ranks pass defense. Okay. Cam Newton's completion percentage has been sixties six percent so far this year. That is much better than the mid fifties he's been Credit goes to North Turner for this one. He's getting the ball out a lot quicker, and uh,

I think it's beneficial to him. All right. Listen, last week he was playing against the number one defense in the league in Baltimore and he put up twenty eight fantasy points. All Right, Cam, I think is locked and loaded. I think Cam can have a big day. And remember you always have the rushing potential with Cam as well. I mean, the man has already run for four touchdowns alright, so far, he's on pace to run for five eight touchdowns in the season. You know most running backs don't

do that. Okay, So you have my three wideouts, you have my quarterback. Who am I stacking that quarterback with? Well, if you know my three wide receivers aren't Panthers, where do you think I'm going. I'm going to the tight end position. I'm going greg Olsen for sixty two hundred. He was a full participant in practice today, all right, So I'm not concerned about that foot issue. Remember the Tampa Bay pass defense is blunt, guts, trash thirty feet

in the league. And I like that. Greg Olsen becomes a security blanket for Cam Newton. All right. And since he's been back, he's been pretty consistent. He has had a touchdown in his last two games. I think that can happen again against Tampa Bay. So you may ask yourself, they speeds, what about your running backs? Listen, I'm telling you this Miami run defense is uh more good. All right. Gave up a hundred thirty plus to Lamar Miller the previous week, gave up a hundred fifty plus to carry

On Johnson. Give me Isaiah Crowell at only fifties seven hundred. I'll take the Crows. Show no blow Powell anymore. The opportunity is all his now. If you look at billah pal in the game log, right, I mean he was earlier in the season. You know he had a day with only four carries, the day with only ten carries. Now he's getting more with Blah Powell. I know he didn't have a great game. His last few haven't been that good. I think the Miami defense is the elixir

for that problem. Give me Isaiah crow Well facing the twenty nine ranked rush defense into my AMMI Dolphins. Given me him this week at fifty seven hundred. I think that's a value. And also, I just think I just think Lashawn McCoy is too on the price he has the twenty third most expensive running back. Who else is gonna produce for for Buffalo? I don't care. Listen, Buffalo might get two hundred and thirty yards total and half of them might be Lashawn McCoy. Okay, I think there's

gonna be some dump down potential as well. Like when you saw him against the pat Patriots last week, right, he didn't He only ran for thirteen yards. That's bad, but six carries for eighty two yards and I'll take those. I like Shady McCoy as well, um, saving me some money in my running back position. Kro Well at fifty seven, Lashawan McCoy at sixty two hundreds. So I think those are interesting. Um So here we go. Um so, let's let's get it in. Let's go into the status of

I like Devin Funcious in this one, because you know we're attacking that Tampa Bay past defense. Irish

Um, listen, I'm I'm I'm usually waiting see about these uh the Browns this week because you know, no new head coach new

offensive coordinator. But I do think in jok Wu stands to get some production, and Rudolph hasn't been much for you, Elizabeth, I slightly lean in Joku there, aiden k adn K start to gronk Olsen or Jared Cook start two of the tight ends. Sure, give me Gronk if he's healthy. And I just told you I got Olson in my DFS lineup to give me Olson. I'm off Jared Cook. He hasn't done much lately. And also I think, listen, I think the Raiders are gonna be able to be

conservative and beat this four the Niners. I think it's gonna be a kind of a like a low scoring kind of sloppy games. So I want no part of it. I'm not on Jared Cook. Um de Angelino full point PPR needs to Sammy Watkins, Marvin Jones, Junior Chubb or Ingram. Yeah. So Marvin Jones is definitely in there for me, right because no golden tap to a greater share from Marvin Jones in my opinion. And I like Nick Chubb also, Um, I like this matchup against Kansas City. I think Nick

Chubb is gonna eat so from me. Uh, di Angelino. It is Nick Chubb and Marvin Jones, Mark C. Chubb or Ingram same kind of question. I like Chubb, Brian S Sutton, O, Willie Sneed, Cortland Sutton all the way strong style and PP are the crow Show or Jail and Richard. You just saw a strong style. I have Isaiah crow Well in my lineups and my DFS lineups. I think the Miami Dolphins defense is bad against the run. You saw it with Lamar Miller, you saw it with

carry On Johnson. I think we're gonna see it again this week's strong Style, and I think we are going to see it with Isaiah crow Well. Oakland Raiders defense is blunt, guts trash. I understand that, but this has like sixt nine written all over it, in my opinion, very superstitious. That's right. Um so no, I would get off Brita. And there's another person. Jason Finley just asked O. J. Howard or George Kittle on foot Yeah, he ridings on the wall. But Jason Finley, I'm kinda taking O. J. Howard instead of Kittle. I am getting off all of the Niners with the one exception.

Master Master three is right the forty Niners defense maybe all right? The Oakland Raiders defense may be all right. And with that, let's transition to some other defenses to stream right now. If you still can pick up the Oakland Raiders defense, I don't know if you can, but with this news, if you can pick up the Oakland Raiders defense right now, do it. It is worth the time.

Go smash that like button right now, and then go over to your league and see if the Oakland Raiders defense is still available, because if they are, you need to grab them against Nick Mullins tonight, the same kind of thing with the San Francisco defense. I think this is gonna be a low scoring game. I think either one of these defenses are viable. Other defenses that I like this week, mostly because of the matchups. All right, give me the Carolina Panthers defense. We know about fits magic.

Now, what I've said about defenses is it's not about a defense trying to keep the point total down because the difference you get, you know, from giving up seventeen points and giving up twenty three points, you just lose like one point in there each time after like the big ones, once you give up more than say fourteen, and it's very hard. You know. There's no defenses right now in the NFL

that are given up less than fourteen points. There's no defenses right now that's not giving up like twenty, you know. So it's not about the points allowed for defenses. It's about sacks and turnovers. Okay, And so I think Carolina will get turnovers against fits Magic. We all know it's he likes to chuck it on up and he turns the ball over. That's what you look for. So besides

both defenses, tonight give me the Carolina Panthers. I'm also intrigued in this Jets Dolphins game divisional matchup second time around. The second time around in division matchups are usually lower scoring than the first one. Here's another thing, as I'm teaching you how to fish. Okay, as we wave at a little man right there, and the stats over beat Cipher checking it out here in Studio thirty four over here in midtown Manhattan, say what's up? You know Speeds

loves the kids. Um, So, I think the Jets and the Miami defense are interesting as well. Okay, yes, I think Miami can give up some rushing yards, but the Jets Sam Donald has been turning the ball over. Brock Oswiler's turning the ball over, So I'm okay with that. He isn'tnother sneaky one and this is a decent one, not only for this week, but long term as well, for the next couple of weeks. Okay, um, keep an eye on the Los Angeles Chargers, guys. Okay, the law

So Angeles Charges. This week they have Seattle, and if you remember, Seattle is running the ball more than any other team in the NFL right now, Okay, so they're gonna keep it down a little bit. But remember they get Joey Bosa back pretty soon. There's reports out that he is finally making progress, so he may only be a week away. Look at the next few games for the Chargers defense. They get Seattle, who I say is like, all right, it's like an average matchup. Then they have Oakland.

I like that one. Then they have Denver. I like that one. Then they have Arizona. I like that one. That basically clears out the rest of the regular season for you. I like the Los Angeles Chargers as ascending kind of defense. They're about to get Joey Bosa back and that helps me with some sacks. So there's another one. And um, the other one I'll give you is Denver. I'll give you two more Denver, I'm okay with. Remember, yeah, the Houston Texans had five touchdowns last week. You know,

Shaun Watson all of a sudden look great again. I do not have faith or believe that all of a sudden this Texans old line is all of a sudden great or better again. He was the most hit, the most sacked quarterback going into last Thursday night. They played a bad front seven in Miami who got no pressure, and all of a sudden, Deshaun Watson looked great again. Five touchdowns, looking amazing. Right, Denver Broncos is a different

level of pass rush. I am not confident that the Texans offensive line is all of a sudden gonna be able to protect when Von Miller and Bradley Chubb are coming after Deshaun Watson. I actually think the Houston Texans revert back to a bad offensive line. Deshaun Watson running for his life. So I like the Denver Broncos. They're also one of those tight spreads. Okay, the Denver Broncos are now getting a point at home, and I would be intrigued. I would I would lean towards Denver in

that game. I think everyone saw Houston on National TV last week and Watson looked great. You know, the old line protected him, and everyone's with that recency bias, like, oh, that's what it is. They're about to make their move. Their old line just doesn't like get good overnight. Okay. And and I really believe that the Denver Broncos are gonna put some heat on Deshaun Watson. Also, uh, this Monday night football game has a very very low total.

I've told you I've given out the Dallas defense a couple of times, you know, um in this kind of vein in a streaming defense kind of way, and I'll go back to them. Listen, Marcus Mariota, that offense is not dynamic. Derrick Henry is blunt, guts trash. I've seen him getting dropped all over the place, and I'm actually okay with that at this point. Um So I don't think they're dynamic. I don't think they're gonna score much. And they can turn the ball over a little bit

as well. So the Dallas defense is another one. Okay, So both defenses tonight. Give me Carolina, give me the Jets defense, give me the Chargers defense, give me the Broncos defense, and then I will also take the Dallas defense on Monday night. Of those are some teams that you like. Let's say you have the Since defense on by right, or the Jacksonville defense on by I've been giving out the Indianapolis Colts as a defensive. Stream can't use them anymore. These are some defenses you can in

fact stream. All right, here's we gonna do. I want to give out the phone number. You guys know the phone number. Let's put it on right there in the chat room, Danny and Cowboy Brian. Let's put that in at three four seven seven six seven six six one four. Again, the number to call is three four seven seven six seven six six one four, I'm gonna give you my thoughts on a couple of these other tight spread games,

and then we'll go to the phone lines. And then of course, towards the end of the show, in our final segment, what we will do is, uh, you know, we'll do a little fun and functional sports content. We got a new trap game, my estros. We got a new trap game, my estros. We got a game of inches nominees. We got a lot of stuff to do, and we will do it all in the final segment of the Fantasy Freestyle. So let's get into some of these one point spreads that are happening. Remember, the phone

lines are open if you want to get down. All right, So I mentioned I mentioned Houston and Denver. That's an interesting one. Another interesting one to me is Atlanta going into Washington, going into our nations capital to take on the Washington football team. I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm gonna believe in Washington here they are going through Adrian Peterson. They're kind of like a no frills offense. You know about those playmakers, you know about you know,

everybody from Jamison crowd are being banged up. Chris Thompson banged up, Dotson Richardson, Jordan Reid has underperformed, but they are riding Adrian Peterson and it's fine. And the Falcons past defense, you know, is something you can attack anyway, So I think that kind of levels it out. I like Washington also, you know Atlanta on the road, Remember Atlanta outside of the Dome on grass is a very different thing. That's what they'll be in our nation's capital.

And Washington is five and two. Washington just traded four ha ha Clinton Dix. They're sending the signal to their fans and to their roster through their locker room that listen, they're gonna go for it. So I think they're gonna be energized a little bit in the same way that I'm I'm unclear. That's what the Detroit Lions are doing for their fan base trading away Golden tape, or the

Packers trading away hack Lington Dicks. For me, if you're a Washington fan or in that locker room, you're encouraged the front office is doing things to support you right now as you try in a wide open NFC East. I think these teams are going in opposite directions. I like Washington minus one at home against the Atlanta Falcons. Okay, there's a couple of other very close games that I want to get into. One here is the team I

was just mentioning before, the Los Angeles Chargers. They are in the Pacific Northwest to take on the Seahawks in Seattle. I know people are gonna be like, oh, the Seahawks at home, the Twelves, all that stuff, Right, They've been playing well lately, and they have been as you know. And listen, we don't know about Cup, we don't know about some of the safeties in Los Angeles. I'm telling you, I'm predicting the Saints to give the Rams their first loss of the season. I actually like the New Orleans Saints in that Dome to stand up and get krunkin.

Don't look now, But if the Saints do in that game, then that would leave the Rams with one loss, their first one. That would keep the Saints with one loss right and then head to head, the Saints would actually have the head to head tiebreaker. The Saints would be the one seed in the NFC with the pole position for home field advantage, and then that means going through the Dome in January. I think this is a huge game for the Saints. I think they show up and

to the goal line. I know James White scored the touchdown, but I think Brady it's a better shot to actually throw for touchdowns than Jared Goff because Todd Gurley steals a lot of those touchdowns from golf in the rams.
