So many ways you can hear the Fantasy Freestyle episode four hundred and six, the four hundred and six convening of the Stats over Beat Cipher, and we got a big show for you today as we look back at week five, turned the page to week six. Not after talking a couple of bets here on Monday Night Football, a couple of prop bets, and listen,
we got a poll question up on Twitter. As usual, we got the chat room on fire with the Stats over Beat Cipher. As always, the family comes to report. It's like dinner table for the family coming as we say it with me. Now, help you win your leagues and win that cash. And I gotta tell you something. I think week five, the narrative was who got knocked out? Okay, a lot of people got knocked out, and quite frankly, a lot of people got knocked out in all the
survivor pools that I was in. Maybe you had Chicago, maybe it had Kansas City, maybe I had the Chargers. And that is my poll question for you. Are you still live in your survivor pools, in your knockout pools? Because I know a lot of people that knocked out. And then check this out. Football continues to be a violent game, I guess because Mason Rudolph got knocked the f out. And this is something we got to talk about,
because listen, I'm not making light of this. A few weeks ago I talked about how people are now getting stretchered off the field at an alarming rate. There was too in that Thursday night football game, and this Mason Rudolph play. Guys, I don't know if you were watching it and you saw the way other players reacted, the way they just cut two commercial, but then the way that Apparently the cart wasn't working, and so they were like, get on up, rub some dirt on it. You'll be
I let's go. This is ridiculous. Okay when it comes to this player safety world, we saw medical malpractice happen live and on camera in that Pittsburgh Baltimore game. But here's the other thing, and this is what I've been saying about NFL having some kind of long term problem. All Right. I had someone hit me up on Twitter because I said the same thing this morning on Make It Rain, and somebody hit me up on Twitter. Put that up right now, Danny, that tweet. Check it out.
Someone was like, yo that I made this point, and check it out. His not their nine year old kid. The mother said, no way are you gonna be able to play football? People are watching this and I said, listen, this is gonna maybe go the niche way, And I think this is interesting. Shout out to my one of my followers at two ten Soul says, in Texas, there's a rule you can't play anymore after having a certain amount of concussions. I wonder what is gonna happen. You
can take that tweet off, Danny. I truly wonder. Listen, if the soccer moms in the suburban nights ain't gonna do it anymore, then Friday night Lights becomes something very different. I think we have a real problem on our hands. Mason Rudolph got knocked out, and it's a problem just like your Survivor teams got knocked out. You know who else got knocked out. That's one of the things we need to talk about. Yeah, j Gruden got knocked out,
all right, guys, and we've been talking about this. I wonder what Booger McFarland is going to say on Monday Night Football because he was talking about it. We were all talking about it. Now, Bill Callahan will in fact be the new interim head coach. He's that offensive line kind of grew he has experienced in the NFL, is a veteran coach, so they turning the keys over to
the car to him for the Washington football team. I think it's a problem whether or not they put Dwayne Haskins in and then, honestly, besides Mason Rudolph, it continues to be a violent game. I mean, Brandon Cooks, if you go back the Thursday Night Football left with a concussion Wayne Gallman, who was the backup to say Kwon Barkley out with a concussion. The lucky part is there. It looks like se Kwan will be back up for
the New York Football Giants in week six. We talk about Mason Rudolph, Will it really be Hodges there in week six? I'll tell you right now. If that's the case. On Sunday Night football against these Los Angeles Chargers, then fire up Jalen Samuel's, fire up James Conner. Okay, James Washington also got banged up. It's gonna be a little
Deonte Washington and wildcat left and right. If in fact it's like Devlin Hodges James Washington, I said, with the shoulder and then in that Chief's game Sunday Night, Sammy Watkins with a hammy. But that's okay because Tyre Tyreek Hills coming back. But what are you gonna do with Patty mahomess ankle. That is a real thing. Okay, his effectiveness, I mean, he's still Patty Mahomes, but his effectiveness is different when he can't make all those crazy Superman outside
of the structure and outside of pocket plays. And that's what happened in the second half. Okay, so remember I've had this narrative, there's something like eleven starting quarterbacks or teams who have gone some multiple quarterbacks right now. Maybe
you can add more to the list over time. But for some of these studs, can these amazing quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun Watson, who, by the way, when we get to what Speed's got right, oh yeah, he got that one right, you know, uh Russell Wilson, can they make it through two thousand and nineteen? And then furthermore, these other faces of the franchise like Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Lamar Jackson, can they make get three years? The way it is literally a coin flip on if you will
have your starting quarterback anymore throughout the entire season. It is, in fact a war of attrition. I gotta tell you not too many injuries to key fantasy players in Week five. But we will look at the waiver wire, we'll talk about our main takeaways, what Speed's got right, what Speed's got wrong? And then also we'll talk a little bit about Monday Night Football, which is about to kick off in about an hour alright, as the Cleveland Uh no, no, no, oh,
you have the wrong helmet. I got the Cincinnati Bengals up here. I gotta find the Cleveland Brown's helmet. Do we have a Cleveland Brown's helmet? Maybe that's why, But I don't think whether it's the Browns or the Bengals, they're gonna put up so much of an effort against this team. I'll tell you why a little bit later on in the show. It's the status over Beat Cipher. Get your questions in holler at me. We'll do the phone lines. Get your questions in the chat room. Also,
let's do it now. You know what it is? Dilly dilly. Are you ready for the nation's first and only three network dedicated to you, the betting and nsy sports enthusiast. You may notice that this isn't exactly spitting statistician music. That's because it is in fact my man, Danny Auto's music. Because even though he wasn't here on Thursday, he went out and boat raised the spitten statistician in our status Overbeats League. So he is allowed to pick whatever music he wants. Dani Otto doing that,
Gregory Castillo in the chat room. I take the Marlin Mac and DeAndre Hopkins side of that deal, no questions ask, and I run to take that if you have that as an option. Caesar was asking about two wide receivers and if they're now startable every week moving forward. One of them yes, one of them not so much. The one that is not so much in my opinion though,
is Michael Gallup. Yes, he's like showed off. He had a good week and I recommend him as a waiver ad, but I don't know if he's a week two weeks start okay, He's a viable flex play, especially with more teams on buy in the coming weeks. But listen, and this is one of my takeaways that I'm gonna make Dallas and Dak through the ball more than they want to in yesterday's game against Green Bay. Okay, so you can't expect that kind of volume necessarily for Michael Gallup
and Lordy you're talking about giving up Zeke. That's the reason you do not give up Zeke because the volume passing is not what's going to happen for most Cowboys games season. We'll talk about the other wide out you were talking about um a little bit later on when I have my takeaways and what Speed's got right, what Speed's got wrong? Ben, You're absolutely right. Football rules the day right now, but you can't forget that my New
York Yankees are looking to take out the Twins. We play today, we win today, das, and hopefully we do that nine more times in routes to another championship. All right, let's talk about my main takeaways, and honestly, style makes fight. You know that term in boxing. I'm telling you right now, this is what I am starting to see. And I mentioned this with Dak Dak through the ball forty four times yesterday. Not helpful. Matt Ryan through the ball forty
six times yesterday, not helpful? All right. Jared Goff over the last couple of weeks have thrown the ball forty five and fifty times a week. Not helpful. Okay, Philip rivers through the ball forty eight times last week. Yeah, that will get fantasy numbers. But here's the deal, and I say this all the time, with the fantasy herd, right, the fantasy herd is good for the real team, not good for the fantasy team. Well, having a quarterback throw the ball times is good for your fantasy team, not
good for the real team. And you're gonna have to start to accommodate for that or make that part of your calculus. Here as I teach you how to fish instead of just giving you a fish. Some of these teams that can't run the ball. Look at Atlanta. Okay, Atlanta with the offensive line, that problem, right, they had sixteen carries from their running backs for only forty nine yards yesterday. They can't run the ball. So what do they have to do. They have to have Matt Ryan
step back and throw at forty six times. Now, his passing yards look great, you know, Ridley Snow Julio, Fine, but you have to realize, these are teams that can't run the ball, are gonna give up sacks, and that's the way to think about quarterbacks moving forward. We want teams that are gonna get all this garbage time production. Remember when Blake Boardles one year was like QB six or seven because of all that garbage time production. That's
what we're starting to see. And if your team's in a bad game script, even if it's Dallas like they were yesterday, look at how different that is than when we're talking about, Oh, when Kirk Cousins is winning the game and some games and only you know, having fourteen completions. Russell Wilson doing the same thing. Style makes fight okay. And a lot of these quarterbacks are just in this crazy run uh that run spread. It's what happens when that doesn't go well? Can they go to the run game?
What happens when some of these good better defenses or better defensive coordinators start to try to, you know, contain the passing game, Then can you run? That's what happened with the Indianapolis Colts yesterday. They were able to run the ball. They were able to get chunkyards. But I digress. All right, so let's talk about what Speed's got right. With speeds got wrong, here are some of the things
I got right. Remember First of all, I told you that today, right now, based on what I was saying on Thursday, that both the Minnesota passing game and the Houston passing game was gonna be either right or wrong. Well, boy, did they both look right. I told you Minnesota was gonna have a comeback in the passing game, and that's what Kirk Cousins did twenty two of twenty seven three hundred six yards. I told you about feeling bouncing back seven for one thirty and two touchdowns. I even said
that they would be a nice stack in DFS. I hope you wrote that. And here's the thing. Sometimes those like player meetings, players only meetings, or that smoke and then starting to talk. Sometimes people do that with good timing and the New Jersey New Jersey, the New York Giants are a perfect opportunity to start to talk and start to try to get right. And that's what Minnesota did. By the way, that's what the Houston Texans did as well.
I told you that this was a get right game against the Atlanta Falcons, and look, Houston gave up zero sacks. DeShawn Watson did not get sacked. And look what happened in twenty eight of thirty three, the same only five and completions that Kirk Cousins had, But he goes for four hundred and twenty six yards and five touchdowns, no interceptions. The reason why this is okay, Look, this is efficient Deshaun Watson thirty three attempts, Kirk Cousins twenty seven attempts.
This is not forty five and fifty attempts. Okay, this is producing with an efficient past and game. That's what you like to see, all right. And the forty four fantasy points for Deshaun Watson. Danny Otto had Deshaun Watson against me in one league. Yang and the Pit of Misery had Deshaun Watson against me in another league. He did absolute work in Atlanta. I got right to I
am hopping off them. Listen. Arthur Blank, the owner, was asked after the game if there needs to be a coaching change in Atlanta, and he said, no, no, no no, these are the guys to get us out of it for now. But he said, at this point or at now, there was a qualifier on it. So yes, Jay Gruden was the first coach out. Listen, Quinn, this is a team that had expectations a lot of people, including myself,
originally were high on these Falcons. I am wrong. Something is going on, and I told you Matt Ryan throwing the ball forty seven times is not what you want. The problem is in this run game and this offensive line. Six team for forty nine for Edo Smith and DeVante Freeman combined is not gonna get it done. Another team that can do it with an efficient passing game. I give you what I said on Thursday Night football. Russell
Wilson seventeen of twenty three. Again, look five six and completions and he puts up four touchdowns another thirty two yards on the ground. I said, as teams start to develop their identities, one of the things I trust and the reason I've had Seattle. Jilly Dilley will give you the notes I had Seattle winning the NFC West. I didn't know San Francisco was still gonna be undefeated, but I said, I trust Russell Wilson. Jilly Dilley also probably
has it that I said. A good, nice little medium range shot, I said, Russell Wilson at one to win the m v P was a nice little play. How's that look right now? I gotta tell you right now. At this point, there are three contenders, in my opinion from most valuable Player, and they are still Patty Mahomes, Christian McCaffrey, who was absolutely crushing scrimmage yards records in pace right now, and then Russell Wilson. Here's we go, Danny.
We gotta cue up the music because a few weeks ago I told you that this guy was on the waiver wire a few of them. The following week, I was like, I can't believe this guy is still on the waiver wire well after Now after now Danny Lee and his undisclosed location and his daughter is jumping up and down after my man's strong style renames his team our boy, Danny has another eight for one sixty four and two touchdowns. This guy is now wide receiver five overall.
Send you with me now, guys, I'm saying it's gonna happen again, right Danny yep. D J chart chart charts to chart chart, d J chart chart chark and listen, guys, I told you about these wide receivers. I acknowledge that I was wrong on the tight end tier, but I've been right on wide receivers. I told you earlier about DJ Chark as the Jacksonville wide receiver. You can take it off, Danny. He's now performing as wide receiver five in all of Fantasy football after another blow up game
and two touchdowns. By the way, you know who's number one fantasy wide receiver overall? Right now, By the way, it's a name I was telling you in that tier of the young ascending wide receivers. Yeah, of course, Godwin, with another big game, is now the number one scoring fantasy wide receiver. Oh, I remember who I told you of those three Rams wide receivers, I like the best because of the herd who represented the value. Yeah, well,
Cooper Cup is now wide receiver three overall. Another thing I got right, I told you about David Johnson in DFS lineups. I gave you all the David Johnson prop bets as well. He goes in seventeen for ninety one yards and at the sixty five yards on the ground a hundred fifty six yards from scrimmage. I'd say that overperformed his DFS value. He hit his prop bets as well.
And I also told you last week to get the Dolphins plus six this week while you could, because I said that that Washington dumpster fire was going to explode against the Patriots. They were gonna look worse. They might have a new head coach. Oh, what do you know? There's a new head coach and that line that was Dolphins plus six is now only Dolphins plus three. And you know which way I might go on that for week six. We've been targeting that a whole lot of time.
When I come back, what I got wrong, and then we look at the wide the waiver wire as well, ask you questions in the chat room, will open up the phone lines later on. It's episode four hundred and six of The Fantasy Freestyle. Dilly Dilly, I gotta make a dent in my beer. When you come back, you'll see it. I'm on Matt. Learned from the game's best DFS players joined Daily Rodo dot Com bocome back Episode four hundred and six of the Fantasy Freestyle. I got some more questions in the chat room than are answering Dex the Rojas
real member of the Status over beat Cipher. Yes, oneent, you continue to flex Austin Ekeler, alright, especially in PPR formats. All right, Austin Ekeler had fifteen catches. It looks like this is gonna be Melvin Gordon in between the tackles on early downs and then Austin Ekeler, you know, as the PPR back, and that will carry value. Yes, Austin Ekeler is at least still a flex, especially as the Chargers become one of these teams that Philip Rivers is
throwing the ball over forty times a game. I'm not saying that's the way it should go, but that's the way it is going. And so then Austin Ekeler is absolutely involved. Caesar, Yes, you're starting DJ Chark. We talked about that weeks week. But then listen, there was a
great question on the follow ups. Someone was like, even um Terry are says even against Lattimore next week in New Orleans and listen, Lattimore completely shut down Mike Evans I am a big time Mike Evans on I have shares of him everywhere, No wonder I lost a lot of fantasy matchups this week, all right, but yes, here's the difference between season long and between DFS. Okay, in season long, you're at the part point where DJ Chark is in fact a week to week start, So you
do it even against Lattimore. I know what happened to Mike Evans yesterday, But in you know, DFS and in other form and prop bets, I'm looking to fade prop bets. I'll take his under prop bet. Probably for next week he won't be my DFS lineup, but in season long, yes, you are in fact starting him. I also, Danny, I gotta let the people know. I hope you got the board up, because if you want to be the next DFS millionaire, why not use the most accurate projections in

That's daily rodo dot Com slash Premium promo code action for your ten percent discount on the most accurate DFS projection system you can get Daily roado dot com where millionaires are made. I don't even need to be a millionaire. I'll be a hundred thousand air like my man Drew dink Meyer. Alright, Like I'm I'm turning ten dollars into twenty. I'm turning twenty five into fifty, you know which I can't be mad at. But listen, I'm I'm gonna trying to get into become a millionaire.
Maybe I need to stop getting things wrong, and I did get some things wrong. The first thing is listening. I've been hyping up Lamar Jackson, and Lamar Jackson is still trans you know, he's transformational. I do think he's a unique athlete the likes we haven't seen since Michael Vick or maybe Randall Conningham, whatever the case may be.
But to sell him as a finished product is a problem. Okay, five interceptions out in the last two games for Lamar, so we may want to pump the brakes a little bit, but a great bounce back spot next week against Cincinnati. He'll run for days next week. And here's the thing, Baltimore can't try to make him into a pocket pastor. He's gonna have to be able to make some plays. But they can't the same way. I don't Rivers throwing the ball forty five times and Matt Ryan, I don't
want Lamar throwing at thirty times. Okay, this is a run first, very heavy team. This is almost a one dimensional team. But guess what that formula works for you? You gotta keep on doing it. I was also potentially, you know, I'm a Chargers truther, but they continue to defecate the mattress on the road in Detroit. You know that I was a little bit worried about them in Miami to go ahead and handle business against Miami, right,
but then Denver closed him in a windless team. And listen, I know that they're banged up, right Hunter Henry and others, But Melvin Gordon was back. They didn't give up any sacks. They only had four penalties. Usually the things that I look for, but this team is in fact snake, but I don't know. Melvin Gordon is gonna have to take some I'm to get going. They had a run game,
but now Melvin Gordon going twelve thirty one. This could upset the apple cart trying to introduce Melvin Gordon into an offense when Ekeler was doing just fine by himself. So keep an eye on what that means for the Chargers. What I was wrong on when it comes to Cincinnati, it's not much. I told you they were going to be a dumpster fire. I told you the season win total would be under I stick to it. I told you we'd see Ryan Finley in the back half of
the season. I stick to it. But here's the thing. Unlike my New York Jets, at least Cincinnati competes. At least they have some fight. And so I was wrong on that. Okay for calling him blunt, guts trash. They still are, but at least there's a little bit of competitive spirit. I've seen them come back against Buffalo, I've seen them come back against Arizona. I've seen them hang with Seattle, and that's the kind of fight that I have not seen out of some of these other, you know,
teams like a Miami or the Jets or even Washington. Okay, So while I do still believe that the Cincinnati Bengals will be picking in the top five and a lot of change will happen there, they at least got a little bit of spunk, So I'll give him a little bit of that. And the last thing is, you know how much I love the home team and home field advantage and football. You talk about the home dogs all
the time, Well road teams. When eight and four yesterday, alright, only New Orleans, Philly, Carolina, and Houston were able to win at home, not even the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. What does that mean for the San Francisco forty nine is I'll talk about it a little bit later on in the show, but let's spin it forward. First of all, before we do that, we all know statute of beats at Perry Ing as the leader in
the clubhouse for game of inches. Danny, I gotta tell you later on in the show, I had a game of inches. It's not an official one because you know I won the matchup and I just snuck through, but boy was it close. We'll talk about that a little bit later on, let's get into the waiver wire. Listen, there wasn't a ton of injuries this week to the skill position guys, but we are now into the part
of the season where byes are in play. This is where your depth will be tested, whether it's because of injuries or because, oh, your RB two is actually on by. So that guy but who was your flex bumps into your RV two. That guy who was on your bench is now your flex. Oh you had a running back, Oh you had a wide out at a tight end on by exactly your depth will be tested. So this is important to know. First of all, do the Monday night Football move real deal stats WI a beat cipher.
People know you can make a speculative ad for players that are in this game, and that is a lot of opportunity for people on San Francisco. Tevin Coleman coming back, only owned in seventy one percent of leagues, Rocky most start only owned in twenty eight percent of leagues. Get him, now, stass him. Who knows what happens tonight. If an injury happens, you're sitting pretty all right. The rest of the running back situation. Listen, Carlos Hide is viable people, especially with
bye weeks coming up. He's owned in two thirds of leagues, one out of three of You can go pick up Carlos Hide right now. I say, do it. It's not sexy, it's stable. It's a safe floor. In two of the three wins that the Houston Texans have had, including yesterday, he's had twenty carries. Okay, that's the kind of volume and floor you need for a guy that you're gonna plug in for one week because of the boys. I say, Carlos Hide is absolutely fine with Chase Edmonds. He's a big,
heavily added guy. Right now, he's only owned in two percent. This is all tied to David Johnson. His back acted up on him. They're saying, if David Johnson is fine, you don't need Chase Edmonds. If David Johnson is not fineing gonna miss any time spend the fab on Dave Chase Edmonds. Okay, it's all tied to David Johnson. He's not a viable stand up cuff like some other people. Edo Smith is fourteen percent owned. Nope, I am not on Edo Smith. I don't care if it's a good
matchup against Arizona. I don't care if Devonte Freeman got banged up. I want no part of this minute of this Atlanta run game. They can't protect, they can't run the ball. They're gonna be all Matt Ryan. I don't want the backup running back. If you're looking for a backup running back, go with a run dominant good team. For example, Alexander Madison is only owned in I know he's a clear cuff to Dalvin Cook, but Dalvin Cook is injury prone and at least the Vikings are running
the ball. Matt Ryan is throwing the ball forty five times a game. That's not what I want. One other guy I'll give you for the running back. It's sort of a speculative thing. He got banged up, and we know this, but Aaron Jones ran well against Dallas yesterday. He is the only one until Jamal Williams gets back. Now. I know he had that horrible hit, but he's only
owned in an eleven percent of leagues. And if you remember before that scary injury, remember how the Fuel for the Floor was saying he wanted to even up the carries. I think that is viable. Jamal Williams would be someone that I would be intrigued in as he comes back. I know it may not even be this week, but as the byes start, Jamal Williams is gonna be someone you'll be very happy to have his double digit points. All right, let's look at the tight end position. Listen,
you're gonna have byes coming up. We have tighten. Tight End is a wasteland, people. And here's the thing with the tight end unless you have a guy like Arts or Kelsey your kittle. And this is why I was wrong about that tier that I was fishing in that Now Henry's heard Jared Cook, different quarterback. You know, Evan Ingram still works. But it's because a lot of tight ends outside of the true top guys are touchdown dependent, you know. I mean a normal tight end line could
be three seven and that sucks. But three seven and a touchdown, I'll take that, you know what I mean. It's truly about if they get in the end zone or most tight ends. So here are some tight ends that may get into the end zone. And it's slim pickens. At this point, I've been telling you about Chris Herndon, but this Jets offense is ain't gonna do nothing unless Sam Donald comes back, and I'm not sure because of
a spleen. You've heard that quote. He doesn't want to die, and I don't blame him, But if you need help, and you can stash someone Chris Herndon owned, if you need to stash someone, Hunter Henry guys. I know he's hurt, he's owned in leagues. But this is the week if you want to take the roster spot, this is the week to stash Hunter Henry. He's gonna be back in
like they're saying week eight. So that means you would have to hold that roster spot now at this point, only week six and week seven, and then you can get who I think is a top tier tight end in the kind of offense that will throw the ball. Listen, that's the other thing with some of these offenses. Delaney Walker. Yeah, that's fine, but Marcus Mariota ain't putting the ball up forty five times. Philip Rivers is okay. That's why you
know Zach Ertz is great, because Carson Wentz is. That's why now Austin Hooper is ascending, because Matt Ryan is. Hunter Henry fits into that. I've also said this about Jared Goff and Gerald Everett now is getting production. Gerald Edward now is now over the last two weeks, he has nineteen targets people over the last two games, twelve catches, a hundred eight yards and a touchdown. This is a viable piece, especially if you're streaming, especially if you're tight
end is on buy. Those are the tight ends I'm looking at. But you have to acknowledge it is completely slim pickings. When we come back on the other side of the break, here's what we're gonna do. I'm gonna give you wide receivers to look at on the waiver wire for this week. We're gonna break down the stats over Beats League. We're gonna talk about Thursday Night Football. We will answer some of your questions. Listen if you want to get in with the Spitting Status station. Danny
opened up the phone lines. The number two call is eight four four eight four three six eight seven nine. We'll take some calls if they come in if we have some time. At the end of the show, We're gonna do Thursday Night I mean Monday Night Football. We're gonna do wide receiver waivers and yes, Danny got a w against me. We'll talk about that and who's on top of Stats over Beats when we come back. It's episode four hundred and six of the Fantasy Freestyle. Dilly
Dilly to the crew, Come on back, hurt. Are you ready for the nation's first and only, free, twenty four hour network dedicated to you, the betting and fantasy sports enthusiast. Sports Grade will provide you with a real time content, statistics and gaming intelligence unlike anything you've ever seen before. Located both in the heart of New York City and inside the Fandel Sports Book at the meadow Lands Sports Crede, he's live eighteen hours a day here to serve you
the fanatic. This is Sports Grade. Get off the grid. Hey, Danny, do me a favorite because you absolutely have the right to play these songs because of your victory over me in the Stats over Beats League. But make sure you remember to change the playlist for Thursday. Okay, can you promise me that, Danny? Oh no, we're keeping these forever. No no, no, no no. The Stats of It Beats Cipher knows what's up and this is a one time only thing, my friend. But you did, in fact at
the w so I have to allow it. Mr Mr in the chat room, you know, O. J. Howard has been the single most I think um wrong or frustrating player because in that tier everyone thought this was the breakout. He's in that offense that throws heavily, like we talked about on some of them, but this Bruce Arian system apparently just doesn't utilize the tight end. And I know he has you know, recessed into the background, and uh,
I do believe he is droppable at this point. I know we got some callers that are gonna line up, but I want to tell everybody about these waiver wire wide receivers for a second, okay, because I have different thoughts on them. Michael Gallup is owned in sixties seven percent of leagues, So like some other guys like Carlos Hide, you can go out and get him. Yes, you pick up Michael Gallup. The thing is, the question is is he a week to week starter. I will say this, guys,
I want him on my roster. I'm not throwing him out there every week because Dallas wants to run the ball. Okay, that's how they want to play. This was something of an emily that they were trying to throw the ball because they were down so big. That is not the usual Dallas game script. Okay, And clearly Amari Cooper is the number one over there, Gallup is still in fact third or maybe fourth fiddle, So yes, pick him up, but don't expect what happened yesterday seven for worth thirteen
and the tud to always be the case. DJ Chark, of course we know that, Danny, that's music you'd be allowed to play whenever you want, and do you believe it? But d J. Chark is still only owned in seventy three percent of league's people. This is now wide receiver five overall. Good ahead, I hope Danny Lee's daughters bouncing Shark char Chart cut it off. That's enough, that's enough.
There's now a quarter of leagues, though you can still pick up the number five wide receiver overall and fantasy football, need I say more? I believe similar things about Courtland Sutton. By the way, Courtland Sutton is the best wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, and he's only owned in seventies six percent of leagues, A quarter of you can get him right now. Byron Pringle is being picked up in a lot of places. No, Byron Pringle is a food gazzy.
He's someone you need to forget about. Sammy Watkins got banged up. I guess what Tyree kill is coming back. Patty Mahomes spreads the ball around. I know he had a big game. No, that was his best and probably only game of the year. You know who I do like though. This team had to buy. This team will be down, in my opinion, in most games, even if not next week. This is the Miami Dolphins. I've been high on this guy. I drafted him and people laughed at me in the g ST League. I drafted this guy,
Preston Williams. They called him a unicorn. Okay, because of what he was doing in the preseason. They've traded Kenny Stills. Preston Williams now leads the Dolphins in fantasy points at the wide opposition targets receptions, one of only two Dolphins who scored a touchdown all season long. Preston Williams. Okay, go out and get him. He's only owned in seven percent of leagues, and he is part of the future. He's a young kid. They're gonna feed him. I really
like Press than Wilcome Williams. You can say similar things about DeVante Parker, but I like Williams even better. These Miami wide receivers Preston Williams, Devanta Parker viable now heading into the buys. And also Deontay Johnson on Pittsburgh. He's the Pittsburgh number two wide receiver. Remember when I said in going into the season, if you get the number two wide receiver in Pittsburgh, you're good to go. And I felt would be the Dante Moncreef, who, by the way,
it's like a healthy and active or James Washington. Well, Washington got hurt with the shoulder, and Deontay Johnson had chemistry with the backup quarterbacks. Now I know Mason Rudolph ain't there how much anymore, but Deontay Johnson is only owned in thirty percent of leagues. He's number two behind juju in receptions, yards, touchdowns. Okay, he's the guy to own if you need Pittsburgh Stealers wide receiver not named Jujuice Smith Schuster, Danny, my friend, I will admit that
you destroyed me this week. Big w Did you us? Did you? Were you agonizing over this as you were a comic on my friend, you're not there. Look at that he's not here on Thursday. Then he goes ahead and beats me. I'm and then all right, all right, I was screening phone calls. Oh, phone calls, My bad. Okay, you're trying to help out the cipher. So how does it feel to get a w first over and spitting statisticition? Pretty great? Yeah, I got that's right. I don't know.
I don't know if if if if you know about this winning thing, but you should, you should try it. I do know about this winning win. Their cash brother, all right, but there's still a lot of stuff to happen. Okay, this is League is far from over. I mean pretty much. I mean you go down all the way to like twelfth place out of fourteen, and its teams that are two and two, so it stays pretty tight. I love how Mendo's in the chat room talking about he's gonna
make a big time come back tonight. Mendo is down by like fifty points. He does have some players left to go, but we shall see. And I gotta tell you Danny the Tampa pick six and Jilly Dilley, both of those teams continue to roll it looks like they will both get wins again to move to four and one, and they played each other in week one. Danny, so we're gonna all be chasing John g who was here on set with us, and of course the dead mother Jilly Dilley. By the way, Jilli, I had some friendship
bread with breakfast today. It's still amazing, even you know, as you reheated after you put some in the freezer. I absolutely love it. So, Danny, who do you like more here? Who do you think has more staying power? Jilly Dilley or the Tampa picks X. I mean, I think Julie Dilley just she has all of your notes. Yeah, that's true, that's true, the entire us. All right, well, yes, let's put it this way. It would be better for me.
It'd be better for me if Jilly Dilley, who like absolutely goes off our notes and like you know that that inside, if she does well as opposed to Mendo, who was like, I'm just gonna take the fugazis. It would be better from my rep if Jilly Dilley continues to do well as opposed to Mendo, who was playing like the anti speeds play. So I guess that I will take that as a badge of honor. Danny. Check
it out, we're gonna do game of inches. Send your submissions as always chewing me on Patreon on Twitter at spitting speeds. But Danny, I got lucky in a g ST league. Remember that's why Jim Ross was in fans and x verts. It's a nice league, sort of a big money league. I think the entry was like three fifty or something like that. And I'm doing pretty well. I'm gonna win, But Danny put it up. Check it out. I'm gonna win. I won by point six and by
the way, my opponent completely mismanaged. Look at my opponent's kicker, Danny. My opponent started Stephen Gotzkowski, could not get in a new kicker. He went to the I R and then lost by point six points. Now, this is not a game of inches for him either, because he had every opportunity to put it in another kicker. But that's pretty tight on Danny. Yeah, I'll take a w that'll put me to three and two. And by the way, I am the second highest scoring team in Granite Street Tavern.
Right now, you've heard about this league a lot of experts in it from this network. Our guy the King Scott Angle Adam Roan is a ton of experts you know about this league. I'm gonna move to three and two with this very narrow game of inches win. But I am the second highest scoring team in the league, so we shall see. Let's take one or two callers before I do Monday Night football. Let's go to Mark. Mark is our first call today with the stats of
beats cipher. Hey, Mark, how you doing? Uh? Dilly dilly to you? How can we help you when you leave and win their cash brother Dilly Dilley speech. I got a two part question to him. On the ten man PPR league, I had the number one waiver priority. I usually keeping it less of like it's hurt, yes, but really hit the wire. Do you think he's were for number one right now? Because here was the thing. Especially
what you're saying, Mark is true. If you're a good team, you want to hold it like I held it when Wayne Gallman was available a couple of weeks because I was four and oh in one league and I didn't want to burn the number one waiver priority because I have Patty Malomes and I was like I needed when Patty Mahomes gets hurt. And that's what you're saying, and I agree with that, Mark, But who's your other wide receivers.
I'm kind of I got Davante Adams, Josh Gordon and Christian Kirk and um, somebody from the sixth Canity Banks. Okay if it's not Boyd. I mean, you know, here's the here's the other thing, Mark, And here's the credibly important detail. You're in a ten team league. So in a ten team league, the idea of saving the waiver priority is even better, Mark, because with a ten team league, the guys, even after waivers run, the people who are
still left are decent. You know what I mean? Mark, So I'm even more with the shorter the smaller league even more hold the waiver priority. But yes, Calvin Ridley could be worth it if you want, if you don't think Davonte Adams is coming back. But what I'll tell you as I try to teach you how to fish instead of just give you the answer, is that if you're in a smaller league, Mark holding the waiver priority because what's out there for after at just replacement level
is more viable. Does that make sense to you all right, but yo, but yes, Ridley is viable and Matt Ryan and those Falcons they're gonna throw through a throw because they can't run the ball. So I'm not mad Mark if you do, in fact spend it. Okay, Yeah, yeah, yeah, real quick? What's up? Standard League? Tony Michelle just hit ten man league Sony Michelle just hit the waiver? Is he work? My? Uh? Did you just twe prior did you just tweet me that? Okay? I answered you, Bro,
I answered you. I was like, all right, I was like, wait a second, Yeah, are you marvelous Rosalis? Yeah? I got you, Bro. I just answered you, and yes, you gotta do it, Bro. I think these are guys who are like, these are guys who are you know, potentially RB two's potentially a wide out three. So I answered you, and I'll double down by saying yes, they're both worth it, my friend. But thanks for the call. As always, I
do what I can for you. Next up, Absolutely, no problem, next up, and my man, we gotta keep it quick Connor and Tamper as always, but I gotta talk for Monday night football. Also, so what's your question? Brother man? Always welcome to have you on Okay, two quick things I want to touch on on. First off, I'm your boy,
got born to the last week. Oh congrats, brother man, congrats, and I'm glad you're feeling Nope, Connor, honestly, and I know we gotta be quick, but you got some pep in your voice today, you got some pep in your step, and I'm appreciative of that. I'm happy for you, Connor. I'm happy things are looking up, brother man. Okay, okay, And so my question is fair to see you so for the show place tonight on which is the nine? Like? That's an interesting question. Which of the running backs of
San Francisco. Let me tell you something, And this is where I was gonna go on prop bets. Also, Matt Brida is my answer for you, Connor. Okay, Yes, Kevin Coleman is back, but they're gonna wean him back in Okay, He's not gonna be a workhorse when they need to shut it down in the second half. I looked to Matt Brita so he would be the guy, and I like his prop bet over forty five and a half yards tonight is what I'm seeing as a prop bet. I'm so excited I'm throwing it. What else you got, Connor?
Real quick? Okay, you know, and I'm so um, so you know how WoT real quick? So you know, so I'm like, you know how I lost that? I know, And that's rough because you're putting on And that's why O'Connor, and and you're right, and thank you as always for the phone call. But that's why I tell people Connor and everybody else, especially what are we in week five until like week eight? All right? If you're putting up good numbers, and you're gonna be after this week two
and three, but you have a good point total, you're fine. Connor. If you're putting up one fifty and you're even like you know, your records not there, but you're putting up these point totals, don't worry about it. Okay until about week eight or nine, you're fine. If you can't get to seven wins anymore, then it's a problem. But to Connor and everybody else who might be staring there waking up tomorrow at two and three but with a decent
point total, I'm not worried about it. Thanks for the call, Connor. Tonight, I like San Francisco they're coming off a bye, they're getting healthy, and I just don't think Cleveland has beaten strong competition just yet. All right, I think their secondary is banged up. I think Marky's goodwin gets behind the defense. I told you about Matt Breta as a prop bet over because as they work coming in, it's not gonna be all that. I also like that front seven of
San Francisco to get pressure on Baker. I told you I don't like Baker extending the play, rolling out, trying to do too much. There's a prop bet right now minus one. Yes, Baker Mayfield throws an interception. That's where I am. I think the Niners are an underrated, undefeated team off a by give me Shanahan coaching better than Freddie Kitchens. I think that San Francisco defense is good. I like San Francisco the total. I mean the line is now up to five. I'll lay the five. I'm
more comfortable laying the juice on the money line. Baker will get picked off, Rita will run for over forty five yards, and that Cleveland secondary guys Denzel Award and Greedy Williams banged up. I think San Francisco will be you know, diverse in the past game and in the run game. I like San Francisco to win tonight. We'll talk about it all on the next episode of the
Fantasy Freestyle that I'll be on Thursday. I'll give you a DFS, I'll give you the juries, I'll give you what you need for week six, and Danny Otto, despite his victory, will be playing Real Deal Status over beat Cipher Music. Hopefully you guys go pick up DJ Chark as well. I can't believe he's still unowned in a quarter of leagues. I'll talk to you later in an hour tomorrow morning, but you know how you could always find me Patreon at spitting speeds. I'll add your boy.

I like Cleveland better because I think their offense is more capable, or at least more dynamic, I feel, and I fear that Lamar is going to start to become a little more relying on his legs, a little bit more one dimensional. And it's okay as long as you
can have success running the ball. But at some point Daniel and I both noticed you're gonna have to air the ball out, especially in November and December, and I don't know that I trust him just yet Lamar to be able to make that that game winning drive where you can't hand it off, you're gonna have to throw it down, and I just don't see it from him yet at this point with this team. Yeah, that's interesting.
I see it the other way, Joe. I'll lean towards Baltimore here, and it's sort of what we were talking about, for me, at least, what we were talking about up at the top of the show. You know, the idea of how style makes fight and how you have to gonna have to win some in the trenches. Now, I know this Baltimore defense has not looked as good in the last few weeks as it did in the first couple when they were playing teams like the Miami Dolphins.
I'll give you that, But at the same time, I'm clar I feel like the Baltimore Ravens are closer to their identity. They know what they want to do, they have that, and I think they have the better coaching. You gotta believe that John Hobbar is a better coach than first year guy Freddie Kitchens. So when when you know, adversity hits, I'll trust Harbor in the Ravens over Cleveland and Freddie Kitchens. And I just don't think that they
have their identity settled just yet. Yes, they are a more dynamic offense, but that offensive line still giving a pressure on Baker Mayfield. And I just think that Baltimore at least knows what they want to do. The question is, um can they do it? And Lamar will get better over time. Remember two weeks ago we were talking about
Lamar's an m VP candidate. Alright, So yes, he's had some uh you know, he's had some less impressive games, shall we say, But from a fantasy standpoint, he's still doing it because of his seventy yards on the ground. That always will help out. I just think the Baltimore Ravens know who they want to be, are more comfortable in their own skin. So I'll still lean Baltimore in
the a f C North. Yeah, but if you can't pass more than fifty percent, if you can't complete more than of your passes, you ain't winning anything in the NFL. I mean, congratulations, you can. You know you can be the best of the a f C North, which is
filled with crap. I don't trust them to be able to throw the ball down the field, which they're going to have to do if you gave me Baltimore, we already listen, we already watched what Cleveland can do, and the minute Baltimore had to play from behind, which is not what they are built to do. Look at what happened there. He got exposed as a passer in the NFL. While Baker, on the other hand, can push the ball down the Field's got better weapons, he's got a better all.
You know, there's so many other things that Cleveland can do dynamically from an offensive standpoint that I have a feeling that if Baltimore does not play from the lead, Yeah, and they can't run the ball. What's gonna have you trust Lamar Jackson to be able to what? Throw the ball thirty thirty five times a game.
