Listen, welcome to what like episode three hundred and fifty two. That is big things and we got a great show for you. As usual. Here's we're gonna do on a Thursday. Okay, I'll give you my news

and notes. I'll tell you what happened. I'll tell you what went well, what did not go well, that sort of stuff, right, and then uh, i'll give you what I got right, what I got wrong in week Oh goodness, work a week fourteen, the playoff week. Right. Then in our second segment, I will give you our waivers. But a disclaimer on that. Right now, we're at the point of the season. You should not necessarily be fishing in the waiver wire all that much. Okay, the guys you

have on your squad are likely gonna do it. We will answer YouTube questions, of course, we will answer the phone questions. Of course. Perry in the line is already in there. You ain't gotta worry about it, right, We're making it happen. And then in the last segment, Okay, we're gonna take it's gonna be dominated by your calls, right, and then we gotta update a couple of things. We're gonna talk to my man Danny Otto downstairs. We're gonna update Game of Inches. I know a lot of people are wanting to know where are we on that, especially my man Derek Voges, Big Voges out there. We're gonna talk also

and update some other things we've been talking about. Okay, maybe we'll even have you know, I don't know, maybe we'll have the Fantasy executive, maybe we'll have Goon Squad represent in here. We'll get into all of that. And of course we have a pole question as well, and that whole question is how do you prefer to sweat out your Fantasy playoff matchups? You know? Are you staring at stat tracker all the time? Are you like checking

in with it periodically? Are you only watching at the end of the one o'clock games, at the end of the four o'clock games and the Sunday night that sort of thing, just to get that snapshot, or are you not watching it at all? Are you on some like just tell me at the end the kind of thing. And I wondered this because my God, the King Scott Angle, he tells me all the time he doesn't even look at this stuff, do you. That's the question. I think

it's really interesting. We'll get into that as we you know, put the fun and functional sports content. Of course, let's get on into it. Okay, since we last spoke, I gotta tell you something, guys, defense is back apparently right. We've been talking about this passing league. Remember how I told you I'd never take another under in two thousand

and eighteen. I'm not betting it anymore. Right, And by the way, that like, um, that Tennessee Jacksonville game, it found the way to go over all right at thirty to nine with Derrick Henry and all that stuff. So it did find the way to go over. I gave you Tennessee moneyline. I thought they would win, and they did, right. But listen, Dallas is showing that they could play some

deep you know. Um Chicago is showing that they can play some D. The Seattle Seahawks are showing that they can play some D. Don't get me wrong, they didn't win the game last week. The Baltimore Ravens are showing that as well. And it's gonna be very interesting to see how these teams match up against with some of these high flying jet sweep shift RPO kind of offenses that are out there. I'm telling you right now, defense is still going to win championships in one sort of case.

So keep an eye out on that and what it means for like who you're streaming at defense and if it matters, what who you're facing there. Okay, to rekill, I want to get in on to rekill. Okay, Yeah, he's got a heel issue. He's going saying it's bad, but it looks like he's gonna make it pop and work for Thursday night football, which is in a me or forty eight hours against the Los Angeles Charges. It

looks like he's likely to play. However, on the other side of things, it looks like Austin Ekeler, who is now in the concussion protocol, now has a stinger. They're calling him quote unquote extremely doubtful for Thursday night football. It looks like Melvin Gordon isn't back yet, So at this point, yeah, go ahead, And if Jackson is out there, he looks like he's set up to be the workhorse in a very important game for the Chargers. Okay, no Eckler, no,

Melvin Gordon, Yes, it's it's Jackson, for sure. The other piece of news that I want to talk about here is the Raiders fired former GM Reggie Mackenzie. Okay, and he had been there for like fifteen years and they only had one playoff apparance in that time, So I understand this. My issue is really that I think he's being framed to be kind of like the fall guy, you know what I mean, Like Gruden comes in there with a ten year, hundred million dollar contract. He knows

he's playing the long gleame. He's gonna clean house Mary Cooper, Khalil Mack. They're trying to accumulate draft picks and assets that sort of thing. But then they can also just blame mackenzie, you know. And I didn't like the way that went down. Okay, so remember a lot of Raiders didn't like the way the you know, Amari Cooper trade went down, the Cluel Mack trade went down. Sort of, just this is more evidence that they are turning the page in Oakland and that they don't care about two

and eighteen. I I sort of don't think they care about two thousand nineteen either. They just want all systems go when they move into that city of sin that is Las Vegas. All right, here's some other um, here's some other things. People that got banged up. I mentioned Tyreek Hill already, I mentioned Austin Ekeler already, Big Ben banged up with those ribs. Okay, listen, he he ain't he ain't missing this week, all right, this is the big one against New England. They're gonna give it to him.

They're gonna make him throw the ball a lot, because as especially if there's no James Connor, because as we saw a Jalen Samuel's I don't think he was able to like to the rock and have that same kind of impact that a guy like James Conner or previously obviously leavy On Bell or even D'Angelo Williams was able to have. So what does that mean to me? That means this week I think Big Ben has to put

it up fifty times. What does that mean? Obviously Antonio Brown obviously juju right, I to me, this is a small bump up for a guy like Vance McDonald in this scenario where I think they're gonna be trying to throw the ball a little bit more. Even if you want to get crazy guys like Switzer Washington in DFS plays. Okay, I'm not talking about in your semifinals in season long. I'm saying in general, I think the fact that there

may still be O'Connor. I think the fact that Samuels didn't look as good running the ball means that similar to say what I say about the Indianapolis Colts, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Big Ben and the Steelers are now gonna fit into that mold. In my opinion, they're gonna throw throw throw um underreported here Zack Martin, the Cowboy offensive lineman. He's banged up with a knee. Okay, um, they say he's gonna be okay, but watch that as now the Dallas Cowboys are streaking and being fed. You know,

they're feeding Zeke Elliott. Shall we say? You know the other thing I wanted to talk about it. Maybe we'll talk about it later or on Thursday. Because there weren't so many coaching mistakes last week. I thought it was ridiculous. You know. Um, Joe Philbin, you know, for the Packers, decides to challenge not one but two Julio Jones catches literally in the first two minutes of the first quarter. He lost them both. He had no challenges left for

the last fifty eight minutes of the game. That's a mistake, you know, um. Bill Belichick decides to put Rob Gronkowski at deep safety. Now, that's fine. If they're throwing a Haill Marry into the end zone, you want his side to knock it down. But that's not what it was. They were like seventy yards away. You knew it had to be one of those laterals. He took a bad angle on that last play on Kenyan Drake. Meanwhile, they're like Pro Bowl actual safety mccordy is on the bench.

Mistake by Bill Belichick. In that same game, Tom Brady makes a big mistake at the end of the first half. Right he gets sacked with no time out. The time is running out. They don't get to have a field goal there at the end of the first half. It keeps the score. I believe it was one at halftime.

That's a mistake out of Tom Brady. You know who made the same mistake but even worse last night on Monday Night Football, Russell Wilson at the end of the first half chucks it up, it gets picked off by Kendricks. What are you doing. He was trying to do what Brady didn't do, throw it away and preserve the clock and preserve the field goal opportunity. But he couldn't have anything on it. He threw it across the field, threw it across the middle. It got picked all right, um.

And then also in Cleveland. I don't know if you saw this, but they who are touchdown Cleveland I think to go up. I believe it was. They kicked the extra point. The extra point is good. Then there's a penalty on the defense. What do they do It moves it to the one, not to take another two point conversion to rekick. We already had the damn kick. They did it, and they took the point off the one to rekick, and then Joseph, their kicker, misses that extra point.

They just took a point off the board. I'm saying, if you're gonna go for two and you wanted to do it from the one, not the two, but what you did right there was absolutely silly and stupid. All right, let's keep it going here, big shout out to everybody everybody watching right now, the twenty one people who have already hit that like button. Jeremy McMahon, Gordon Ware or

Aaron Jones. In his semifinals this week, Gore did, I don't think it's gonna be back, bro, And I got shares of Melvin Gordon also, so I don't think it's Gordon. For me, It is Where or Aaron Jones? And I just think where is? Uh? If he looks like he's healthy and you're gonna get more reports on that today and tomorrow, and I would ride out where he's dealing with,

like a shoulder or something like that. I like Where, then Aaron Jones, then Gordon, because even if Gordon comes back, who knows what he's gonna look like that first time out. I like Aaron Jones, but I think Aaron Rodgers is on an f you tour to his former coach, and he's gonna want to do it all himself. That's the way I feel about it. So spenc Away to me, is your pick? Jeremy McMahon, where's your symbols that though? Bro? You know what I like? You know I like that,

you know what I like that? Uh? That four twenty stuff right there? Right? Uh? Some people already how about the Bears? Absolutely Perry the Bears. That's what I'm talking about, some of these defensive teams, Dallas, Chicago, Right, they're gonna be able to hang with these guys. Okay, we saw what Dallas did against New Orleans. We saw now with

Chicago has done against the Rams. The only problem though, Perry about um, the only problem with that is that was in cold in Chicago when it was twenty degrees. If this happens again, it's gonna be in l A similarly like what the Cowboys did to the Saints. If it happens again, it's gonna be in that dome in New Orleans, you know, And I think that is a very big difference. Do I think Gordon can be a decoy? Maybe, But I actually don't even know that he's gonna dress. Okay,

And that was my previous point. If Eckler doesn't go, and if Gordon doesn't go, you gotta go. Um, you gotta go Jackson all day long. All right, here's what I got right. He's what I got wrong, He's what I got right. I was telling you guys last week. This week is now different because Ekeler got hurt. But I was telling you Eckler greater than signed Justin Jackson everybody was like, oh, everybody likes the shiny new toy. Everyone's so reactionary. And I was telling you chill out.

And Eckler goes sixties six yards in the ground and a touchdown twenty eight yards in the air. You know, um so the nineties some odd scrimmag yards and a touchdown out did Jackson's you know, thirty five I've scrimmage yards. I told you about that. Don't go with the shiny new toy. Hopefully you listen to me there. I also

told you about Josh Allen. This dude keeps it going. Okay, the stats don't look good, but remember I tell you all the time, what looks good for your fantasy team is not good for the real team, and vice versa. And I think that's what we have a case of when it came to Josh Allen. Dude only goes fifty completion rate, only two hundred six yards through two interceptions, but is a hundred one yards rushing and rushing touchdown.

That's sixteen points right now. That erases the two interceptions, that also would add hundreds of extra passing yards, and that floor is safe. Okay, this is a guy who has run for three hundred and thirty five yards in the last three weeks. All right, I've been a top five rusher like in the NFL in the last month. Okay, that floor is safe. I like it. I told you about it. Keep on going with Josh Allen. I told you about Monday Night football. Also, I told you I'm

fading Minnesota because of an offensive line. I told you I didn't like that offense. I told you it was just feeling and digs and now people are literally double teaming both of them. Someone else needs to step up, whether it's la Quan Treadwell, Aldrick Robertson, Kyle Rudolph, the red nose reindeer, or the red zone reindeer right there, right, that's what it is. And on the other side of this, I told you also about Seattle. Okay, Seattle through the ball.

Russell Wilson went ten of twenty last night for seventy two passing yards. They ran the ball over forty times. So I ask you, can you really trust any of these Seahawks pass catchers. I understand Locket is good for that deep touchdown, but do you want to rely on that in a window go home scenario? This guy is completing ten passes in victories, and then next week they've got a three and ten team. So I think they're

gonna continue with their model of running the ball. I told you I was off Seattle wide receivers for that reason, and I'm telling you I was right about these defensive threats to the sexy offenses. Baltimore in the a f C, Dallas, Chicago, Seattle in the NFC. Here's where I was close. I told you about Jalen Samuels, where he'd be among tight ends. He didn't do it running the ball. Eleven carries for twenty yards but seven catches for sixty four yards. You'll

take the sixteen PPR points. But I'm close because Samuel's returned value fine for fantasy, but the Pittsburgh running game is not the same, and that's going to be a big time interest. You really need to watch the injury reports on James Conner this week. I was close about what happens when Lamar Jackson's in the shootout. I was like, I was a little worried about it, right, and they didn't,

in fact lose. But to my previous point, these Ravens are equipped to battle if they can take to take on the Chiefs and that offense in Arrowhead, then they can pretty much play anybody, right. And I think that style I talked about style makes fight. This is where I was close that that style is now going to work. Lamar Jackson twenty nine rushes with UH twenty nine, Lamar and Gus twenty nine carries to combined Gus Edwards sixteen for sixties seven. That's the way they are going to go.

They're talking now about, Oh Flacco is that bull bull? This is Lamar Jackson, this is Gus Edwards, this is running the ball. This is the way the Baltimore Ravens want. Okay, what was that wrong about? And there was a couple of things I was wrong about, But here the fantasy freestyle stats over beat cipher. We acknowledge when we get things right, when we get things wrong, you know, so anybody can come on in from anywhere. Y'all know, stats over beats. This is how we do right. So where

was that wrong? I was wrong with Derrick Henry. I didn't say anybody should start Derrick Henry in his two thirty eight yards and four touchdowns. But here's the thing, is he really the starting running back for the Titans. Now, are you really gonna apply that now for week fifteen? Or is this just like one crazy, freaky night. I do like that he's got the ten days of rest. I do like you know that he's only, by the

way owned, so you can still get him. I do like that they're facing the New York Football Giants this week, who are twenty five in the NFL against the run. Right, But I was off that. I did not have that one. I acknowledge. I also I was off this um Denver stack. I was trying to give you Courtland Sutton. He only went to for fourteen, he defecated the mattress. I was among those who thought he would be in line for big work. I did, however, mentioned DeShawn Hamilton's and he

went seven seven and a touchdown. Okay, so keep an eye out on those guys. Will it be a Tim Patrick a DeShawn Hamilton's that continues to pop? But I was off on the Denver broncos I was trying to target them in a stack in DFS. It did not work that well against the San Francisco forty nine is usually because mostly because George Kittle decided to go off right, um, and I was wrong with Jamis and his targets. He he turned into a pumpkin. Listen, you were able to

make America braid again. I told you about that. He did catch two touchdowns. But if you had Chris Godwin like I started and got a one for thirteen out of him, he defecated the mattress. He was fool gazy and he hurt you. I understand that. Okay, here's the other thing I'll tell you about. I told you to hop off that Baltimore defense. Right, they showed that they could uh excuse me, you know I I liked their defense early, but the rest of their schedule is still

not good. All right, here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna take a quick break when we come back. I'm gonna give you waivers, by permission, by position, you know, a little reverse cowgirl action. week fifteen. It's gonna take a lot for me to in the middle of my semifinal take about the guys I've been riding with all season long and then start to just like, nah, let me grab Robert Foster. Let me just go ahead and take Ian Thomas and plug him in. Let me take Damian Williams and plug him in.

It's hard for me to accept that, Okay, But if you are in the position where you for some reason need a quarterback I don't know, you finally bite the bullet and realize Matthew Stafford is not the quarterback for you in your two QB league. The names I'll tell you is Dak Prescott and Josh Allen. No, not Josh Johnson. I want no part of that, even though he is zero percent honed and is a starting quarterback now. But Dak has been playing well a lot better recently, especially

with the arrival of Marie Cooper. All Right, So I like that, and I like Josh Allen. I've told you about that rushing floor. Those are quarterbacks for me that you can touch. But honestly, you should have addressed that already. I've been telling you about Josh Allen. I was on you about Jameis Winston. I was telling you about Dak Prescott and others for weeks to organize yourself so you don't have to go searching right now. So hopefully you listened.

All right, Um, whiteouts are another interesting thing, and maybe you lost Manny Sanders had Courtland Sutton got through and don't want to go there anymore. Maybe you lost you know, you were right thinking about Doug Baldwin and he's out right now. Maybe you're a little bit worried of Tyreek Hill who got banged up and has a quick turnaround on Thursday night. If you're in those cases, here are some ride receivers to consider. But again remember the overall

concept here. It's really hard for someone right here to all of a sudden be above the guy you have on your roster and has been your bench guy that you've already put in on like buys and things of that nature. Okay, so take this with a grain of stalled. But some of the names that I do in fact like they're at the wide receiver position. Listen, we got Robert Foster from the Buffalo Bills right for the last

couple of weeks out he's been doing big things. Everyone thought it was gonna be z Jones, but Z Jones deficated the Mattress. Okay, Robert Foster has been the guy. He's one percent owned. I'm okay with him. He's the lead wide receiver. Now for the Buffalo Bills, there's an option for you. Okay. Now, we all talked about the Denver Broncos. We talked about Courtland Sutton, but there's now Tim Patrick Dashawn Hamilton's. Maybe you want to take a

shot on those two guys. I would prefer Hamilton's in a PPR setting because he's working out of the slot the same thing as like that Jamison Crowder. Uh you know, uh, Julian Edelman kind of two way go in the slot kind of route role. I like DeShawn Hamilton's there, but Tim Patrick seems to be getting a lot of targets as well. Case Keenum is up on Tim Patrick as well. So there's a guy you can think of. I'll give you one other outside of Robert Foster, outside of the

Denver Broncos. This guy a decent game. I think he's benefiting from the return of his starting quarterback coming back. I'm talking about Kenny Stills. Talking about Kenny Stills. Okay, Now, granted, I believe they go up to Chicago next week. Right, And that's a tough test. We saw what they did to the Rams last week. Okay, but if you're desperate, if you just lost somebody, you don't want to believe in some of these guys anymore. You want to flip

the switch and roll the dice in your semifinal. Go right ahead, Kenny Stills might be a guy the position I really want to tell you about. As it turns to waivers. And by the way, here's what we're gonna do. I'm gonna give you the rest of these running back waivers. I'm gonna answer some YouTube questions, and then I'm gonna give out the phone number. Okay, we're gonna get it popping.

I want a lot of this to be dominated by your questions, but the stats over beat cipher because if you're still asking questions, that means you just just still live to win your leagues and win that cash. But let me give you some running backs real quick. Listen, you all know about Jackson, right, he looks like it's gonna be the lead dog on Thursday. He's available, all right, No Eckler, no Gordon, go get him, all right, Go get him, but I want you to also check this out.

Gus the bus in Baltimore, Edwards is only only leagues worth the check Okay. I would do that over even Derrick Henry. Yes, I know he went for two hundred and whatever thirty eight yards last week. I don't care, all right. I would still take Jackson over Derrick Henry. I would still take Gus Edwards if you can get him over Derrick Henry. Okay. I would not take Damian Williams. Okay, I would take Henry over Williams. One other guy to check for. I told you to check for Gus Johnson.

Excuse me, Gus Edwards. What are the guy to check for? If he's on his way back, and even keep an eye out. Maybe it's not this week, but if you get through for the Semis for the finals, carry On Johnson is gonna be on his way back some pretty soon, whether it's this week or next week. Okay. And because he's been missing time and all that stuff, he's down to eight percent ownership, So similar to Gus Edwards worth the check on carry On Johnson. Okay, but here's the

real name I'm gonna give you. If you literally lost like shady McCoy last week and need to rely on him, or you were hoping James Conner would come back and he didn't, or Jalen Samuels and you want to flex him to tie end or something like that. Here's the guy I actually believe in for this week that you can take off the way for wire. He is less than ten percent owned, and I believe you can start him this week. The name is Elijah McGuire from the

New York Jets. Isaiah Rowell got banged up last week. Alright, Um, he's gonna miss time. He's certainly not gonna be there this week. Alright. Elijah McGuire is going to get the lion's share of the snaps. Elijah McGuire is a shaking bait, kind of rickey bobby kind of guy. I like him a lot. Elijah McGuire is the running back to know who's going on to the radar. If you can't get Jackson or Gus Edwards or Derek Henry, are those guys.

Elijah McGuire is the name to know. All right, let me open up the phone lines, all right, Danny, let's get that going right now. Three four seven seven six seven six six one four. Up, Ben is asking me in a half point PPR league. Okay, he's starting Lindsay, but he needs another running back and a flex. His options are DJ I guess that's David Johnson, Dixon Ware and Mac David Johnson is definite to me. It is not Dixon. It is not And it's either Where or Mac for me. All right, it's either Where or

Mac for me. And you know what in half point PPR, I think it's a coin flip. Honestly, Ben, I think it's um definitely David Johnson. And then I think it's a coin flip between Where or Mac. Um. Let's look at those matchups. Okay, we know Kansas City on Thursday. You know what, give me Mac, give me away from the short turnaround, funky things happen on Thursday night football. That would be my tiebreaker. Okay, So Ben, my answer for you is David Johnson and uh Marlon Mack. We

go up next. Gregory c is asking Justin Jackson, Dalvin Cook or Chris Carson in PPR if you can only have one. Listen, Dalvin Cook he ate last week, but it was all garbage time. I don't like and I told you I'm down on that offensive line. There's something wrong with that offense. It's not Cook for me, Justin Jackson or Chris Carson and PPR I like what I see at a Carson. The only problem is he is in a committee with Penny and Davis So Gregory Ce, my answer for you is Justin Jackson. I hope it

works for you out on Thursday. Jeremy McMahon Aaron Jones are aware in the flex. I think I answered that one already. We talked about Jeremy Mcmanhney was like good, good stuff, right, and he sparking that very soon. Jen Rott, Cousins, Wentz, Keenum or Winston picked two of them. All right.
