Remember on Tuesday when I talked about all the head coach openings, Well, imagine this, the two that I thought were the least desirable, Miami and Since are now the only two jobs that are still left available, I'm gonna tell you about all the head coaching news that sort of stuff, the news and notes as we move along. As well, I am going to give you some DFS nuggets for what I consider the best weekend in football, the Divisional round. I got some fantasy I got some

DFS nuggets that I really think are good. I've been testing them against other experts in the field and they all like these picks as well. So I'm gonna give them to you a little bit later on I'm gonna do a little bit on the latest and newest Super Bowl odds that are now up after wild Card weekend. If you want to shop for some value in the futures market, we'll talk about that as well. And then I gotta tell you, guys, I am very excited strong style.

You're gonna love this one, all right. I am very excited about this. We are going to put the fun in functional sports radio as we always do. Okay, we are going to update you on speeds versus the kids, and that is how we are going to make our picks official for the divisional round games. It will only be me. It'll be a unicorn in training, It'll be my lovely goose and Tito god kids. We even got honestly, we got kids of members of the stats over Beat

Cipher names. You know, people were talking about regulars of the stats over Beat Cipher. I want to thank you guys for sending me videos of your children picking the games, and boy do they have some solid analysis. And we are going, uh, you know, we're gonna get paid. Hey, Brian, I got some news for your brother man in due time. In due time, okay. As we move along in the football season, and after football is over, there's gonna be

some new schedules going on in this network. Okay, and uh, Brian asked, and you shall receive my friend Jilly Dilley let him know that there in his episode three eight. I love that he made that switch. And yes, speed's love the kids. We're gonna get into that. But let's get it on and popping. By the way, I'm also gonna let you guys call on in whenever it is y'all want, Okay, Um, three four seven seven six seven six six one four, that the number to call three

four seven seven six seven six six one four. We'll try and do those phone calls in the middle and in the third segment after I give you all the insight you need to win your leagues and win that m we'll see all right. In any event, Um, first thing, I want to talk about practice reports. Okay, Hunter Henry is practicing, guys, all right. I don't think he's going to be a good DFS play per se. I think he's gonna get about twenty snaps, but I think those

are gonna be critical situations. I think they're gonna be third down situations, red zone situations, all right, so things keep an eye out for him and his value add for the Chargers more than your fantasy lineup. Okay, you also got Eric Ebron back. He's gonna be practicing. Uh was maybe just a little bit of a maintenance day

earlier in the week. Even t Y is up and going. Listen, this is week twenty of the NFL season in essence, right, You know, when you're talking about your sixteen games, you talk about the one playoff game these guys have already played. You talk about maybe they can collectively have played a grand total of two preseason games. When you think about the action they've really played. This is like the twentieth

game these guys are playing in. Everybody is banged up. Okay, it's just a degree of like how much are you banged up? And he's the other thing. Everybody is gonna go. Even Cole Beasley that they are being very ginger and cautious with his ankle. He gonna go. All right, it's gonna be you need to be basically Alan hearns to not go anymore in what is the most important week of football. So we check out how those practice reports trend.

We shall see other news and notes as we spin it forward, you know some teams not in the playoffs anymore. Jets tight end Chris Herndon, who was a guy that I was given out at the end of the season as a viable streamer, was kind of ascending maybe into that back end tight end one territory. Yeah, well, he played guilty to d w I that happened earlier in the year. He is likely, in my opinion, going to face a suspension at the beginning of the two thousand

nineteen season. So if you are valuing him in dynasty leagues, or if you're targeting him as like an essence where you were targeting a guy like David and Joeku last year or something like that, keep an eye out. He he's probably gonna miss like two three games something like that. Although the NFL is very inconsistent when how they adjudicate discipline, so we shall see right um. Interestingly enough, there are two players that a lot of people think are gonna

be on the move. I'm talking about Antonio Brown and I'm talking about Leonard Fournette. Things happen with them kind of in different directions when it relates to ownership. First off,

Antonio Brown here's the news. Art Rooney, the owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers, has just come out and said on a radio show today out in Pittsburgh that he does not he is not gonna cut Antonio Brown, but at the same time, he does not see Antonio Brown being with the team when they start training camp in the summer. Again fanning the flames of this rumors that Antonio Brown

maybe on the move away from Pittsburgh. We'll see. I kind of think there's too many financial reasons to make it stick making stick in Pittsburgh, but we'll see about that. On the flip side, reports came out that Leonard Fournette met with you know, Con and Marone and Coughlin and like the brain trust in Jacksonville too, quote unquote clear the air. Okay. Now, I don't know exactly what that means, but I think that they are going to try to find a way forward to that Leonard four Nett stays

on the Jacksonville Jaguars next year. The question is who will the quarterback of that team be? If you real deal status over beat Cipher with the fantasy freestyle spit and statistician, you know, I think their quarterback next year will be Joe Flacco Um. Also interesting news, Kyler Murray,

the Heisman Trophy can't winner out of Oklahoma. Many of you know, he was also the first round draft pick of the Oakland A's and was supposed to report to training camp what pitchers and catches are and what something like twenty nine days, something like that, thirty two days depending on the team. Well, now there's reports that he may in fact declare for the NFL draft, and there's a lot of you know, it's a lot of different

takes on this. Right, should you go ahead and play football, get more money, risk your brain, or toil in the minor leagues of mental league baseball For a little while, he had something like signing bonus. He has something like five million dollars coming to him. I think the kids should play baseball. I think you should want to be able to form a coherent sentence when you're fifty five years old, if you have that option. Right, But listen,

he's a short quarterback. Right, He's shorter than Russell Wilson. He's shorter than Baker Mayfield. He's shorter than Drew Brees. But what we have seen is that that spread offense, that big twelve style offense is coming to the NFL. Baker Mayfield made it work. Patty Mahomes is making it work, you know, so maybe there would be a market. I know that in the first round right now, people think it's Dwayne Haskins and that's about it. If Kyler Murray

is there, he makes two first round quarterbacks. So teams like the Giants at six, the Jaguars at seven, and any teams that want to leap frog them now have more potential options at quarterback up at the top of the draft. But as I said, this is the best weekend in football, So I want to first um mention a little note that, you know, the New Orleans Saints get on it this week as they host the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sean Payton master motivator. Apparently, Sean Payton walked into the locker room with the Lombardi Trophy stacked up against on two d and five thousand dollars in cash and uh, he says, by the way, to k is what the Saints Super Bowl bonus share would be if they do win Super Bowl. Um, and he goes to them. He walks into the room with the trophy on top of two hundred twenty five thousand dollars in cash, and he goes, y'all want this win three f in games. Now, that's

the way I like to motivate grown men. It's not about eating w's and stuff like that. It's showing them the cash right in front of them, play right in front of their face, and being like, you want this, go out and finish the job. And I'm telling you right now, I'm giving you super Bowl odds. The Saints are right now the super Bowl favorite at plus two fifty. Okay, They're gonna have two games in the Dome. If they win those, all they do is go to another dome

that they are very familiar with in Atlanta. They are in there every single year, right, and they would be there for the Super Bowl. The Saints are at plus two fifty currently the odds on favorite to win the Super Bowl. All Right, so here's what I want to do. I do want to talk a little bit about these coaching news and my reactions to them. Strong style. Apparently

you're going Colts, Rams charges Saints. I'm gonna let you know if you agree with the other guy who's in the chat room with you, that we all know and love my Man j R. Slopper knocker. Uh. We maybe have picks from Candice a little bit later on Jimmy Man yaa get okay, make it pop off, spark that issue baby, all right? Um these head coaching jobs, I

don't like two of the most recent ones. You know, in the last twenty four hours, we heard Adam Gaze to the Jets, we heard Vic Fangio to the Broncos, and we had Freddie Kitchen's staying there as a um A coach now of Cleveland. I don't like two of them. I love one of them. I don't really like Vic Fangio to the Broncos. I've been telling you for the better part of a month since the regular season ended that what you need to do here is you need

to get these offensive minds. You know, That's where it is. I just don't like any of these defensive coaches being hired, like Fangio maybe the only one right Kingsbury in Arizona, floor up there in Green Bay. You know, so this is really like kind of the only defensive head coach that's going. I think they're a dying breed, to be quite honest. And the honest part is you know, the Broncos already had a Playoff caliber defense and elite defense,

a super Bowl caliber defense. Don't you just let that rock? What they need to do is find out another way to unlock case Keenum again. You got good young position skill player talent. Uh you know, Lindsay Freeman, Courtland Sutton, DeShawn Hamilton's what you need to do is make sure that you could, you know, elevate case Keenom to a point where he can use these weapons in a little bit better of a way than whatever he did this year.

Your defense is fine, right, So all I'm saying is Vic Fangio better find himself a rock solid offensive coordinator. That's when it comes down to me. I would have liked to see them go more on the offensive of the ball because they already got a good defense. I love what the Browns are doing. I love what the Browns are doing. The Browns have decided to, in essence,

bet on themselves as an organization. You got Baker Mayfield who came on and feeling dangerous, right, not given a damn right being fined, staring down as former coach and looking at the other sidelines and stuff like that. Right, I like what they're doing. Ever since, you know, Freddy Kitchens came not came in, but became the O C and the play callers right after the debacco with you Jackson and Todd Haley. Ever since then, the second half of the season, Baker Mayfield has been one of the

top rated quarterbacks in the NFL. Baker Mayfield and Freddie Kitchens and Greg Williams. I guess they won seven games this year. This is for a franchise that has won four games in the last three years combined. They knew they had something going and they didn't want to upset it, so they let Freddie Kitchens stay. My problem with this

is that they had to cut Greg Williams loose. Also, it was Greg Williams who had the interim tag, right, and Greg Williams was at the top of the food chain under this, you know, the seven win season for much of it, right. I understand that you wanted to go with the offensive guy, Freddie Kitchens. I understand that it would have been weird too, after having Greg Williams be your interim head coach all of a sudden have them be just the defensive coordinator reporting to the head coach.

Freddy Kitchens, I understand that why not have a co head coach. The Browns do crazy things anyway, with their moneyball schemes. If I would have told you five years ago that teams would be going for it on their own forty on fourth and four all the time, you think I was crazy. If I would have told you five years ago that in Major League Baseball, multiple teams are just gonna run out an opener to pitch from

one inning, you would have thought I was crazy. If fifteen years ago I would have told you that that would be dramatic shifts in Major League Baseball all over the place, you would have thought it was crazy. Twenty years ago, if I'd have told you in the NBA there had been more three pointer shots than twos, you would think I'd be crazy. Why couldn't this work? You know, Kitchens as the first time head coach, maybe he needed a guy like Greg Williams with that experience for some duties.

I don't know. I just think they had a good thing going, and I'm a little bit upset. You know that they wound up uh casting Greg Williams aside. He will get a job, and he was a big part of what they did in the second half of the season, although I anticipate and I accept that Freddie Kitchens and Baker Mayfield is really the combination. And then that brings us to the New York Jets. We've hired Adam Gaze

as their quarterback. As y'all knows, that's over Beat Cipher, the spitting statistician is a Yankees fan, all right, he I mean, and a Jets fan, Okay. So I was all over this. I wanted Mike McCarthy. I was excited about the potential of Mike McCarthy, right, bringing in an established guy to take his experience with Aaron Rodgers and all that stuff and go work with Sam Donald, get some respect, to get an established name out there. That's

the way I wanted to go. If they didn't go that way, then it was all about these up and coming kids, right, Todd Monkin as the offensive coordinator over there in Tampa, ascending Eric bi enemy the offensive coordinated over there in Kansas City. Some of these college guys, right, the Lincoln Riley's the Matt Rules of the World, right, I would have been into those. To me, Adam Gays is a retread. To me, Adam Gays is a retread that tried and couldn't do it in the same division

with Miami, He's supposed to be this quarterback whisperer. I don't think Ryan Tannehill really developed that much. I'll give you this that the only season Tannahill was healthy the Dolphins when I think ten and six and did make the playoffs. But he does not inspire me. This is a very uninspiring move in my opinion. We had uh missed the other Martinez in the chat room on Tuesday telling me about his Dolphins and all this stuff. I wonder how he feels about Gays being the head coach

now the Jets. You know, Uh, it just doesn't vibe for me. I will say this. He has described as an offensive mind, a quarterback whisperer, and I do think that the thing they needed to do most Yeah, actually, you're right. They need a coach to beat the past. That's maybe that's true, right, and I guess Gays has done that. But what they needed was this offensive mind,

and he does check that box. But I do not like the stories I heard out of Miami at the end of his season that some of these guys didn't want to play for him that they were quitting on him. He was churning and trying to set a culture. J G I E and Domincan sue. I get it, but I don't want him to come all into New York and think he's gonna run the town. And I'm a little bit worried about that. You know, That's what it comes down to for me. Yep, you're right. G falls

gotta love the Jets commitment to mediocrity. You know, we will see, well, we'll see if he learns anything from his experience in Miami. Hopefully he can take Sam Donald to the next step so that when he is and you got you guys have heard me say this. So when he's a third or fourth year quarterback and Tom Brady is walking away, it's go time for the j E T S Jets, Jets, Jets. Last thing I'll say about this, I want to give a tip of a cap to mom man Bruce Arians. I told you he's

down there at Tampa. He's gonna have a former Jets head coach, Todd Bowls as his defensive coordinator. He's gonna have Byron Leftwick as his offensive coordinator who he was grooming. He's gonna let him call the plays. I'm gonna tell you what I like. Not one but two African American coordinators he's hired and grooming them to potentially be head coaches. Dude is even shorter than Baker. Dude,

is even shorter than Russell Wilson. Dude, he is even shorter than Drew Brees, right, and like he's a dynamic talent, don't get me wrong about that. I don't know that it's gonna play like Baker was a special individual. I don't know that I'm on the Kyler Murray train. You know, he might be one of those guys that were great in college that don't translate to the NFL. I would rather Dwayne Haskins. I think he's got that NFL body. I've seen him be accurate in the Big ten, which

is a little bit different than the Big twelve. Still, so like I think he could be good, but I don't know if he's like the guy I would be targeting that's out there for Stephen and others. Uh yeah, I got to j R. Don't sweat that baby. We are however, though, Jim, we are going to talk a little bit of DFS right now because I want everybody to win their leagues. And when the cash and everybody's already won their league, stat's overbeat cipher. Yo, we won

The one thing I will say as a precursor to all of this, there is supposed to be some snow in New England on Sunday, all right, That's what I'm hearing right now. But we're forty seventy two hours away, right, seventy two hours away, right, so we can't be entirely sure. They're supposed to be some snow and nastiness out there

in Foxboro, and you gotta account for that. And so from now until then, if it looks like it's gonna be bright eyed blue s guys, right, then he a justin kind, right, But if it's gonna be snowing and stuff, you know, you just have to take that into consideration. And I don't speak to you guys from now until then, so I do have to make that point. I'm gonna tell you this. I like Marlon Mack. This week. I like Marlon Mack as a running back. This week he

is at seventy three on FanDuel. All right, listen, Marlon Mack has been a beast recently for the Indianapolis Colts. And it's more than just that. It's the amount of touches he's getting. Three of the last four games, twenty four carries, twenty five carries, twenty seven carries against Dallas in the middle of December. Okay, they are feeding him the rock. I like that. You know what else I like about Marlon Mack At seventy three hundred this weekend.

I like that the Kansas City Chiefs, you know, have the thirty first defense ranked defense in the NFL. I like that the Kansas City Chiefs are giving up five yards to carry. That means Marlon Mack. You know what else I like about Marlon Mack. I like the fact that I think the Colts are gonna try to keep Patty mahow Homes on the sideline. What does that mean? That means time of possession, That means trying to not

give the Chiefs the ball. That means running the ball with Marlon Mack behind that offensive line that has only led Andrew Look get sacked eighteen times all season, did not get sacked last week against the Houston Texans. They're starting to block for Marlon Mack as well. I know listen, guys, I know that this week all the big boys are there. Right. So you got Todd Gurley as an option, you got Zeke Elliott as an option, you got Alvin Kamara as

an option. Let me tell you if you can't, if you can't afford some of those guys and you need to go one level down, Marlon Mack is the place to go. You heard who. So here's the thing, y'all want to talk. Listen. If you want to put Todd Gurley in your lineup, all right, I'm not gonna say that's stupid. You want to put Zeke Elliott in your lineup, all right? I think he's probably gonna get touched the

ball thirty times. Also, so I understand all that. I'm giving you nuggets of guys that you want to play, maybe a little bit lower, maybe a little contrarian. Right, here's another a guy I like you go to that Philly New Orleans game at the end of the weekend, right, give me some Darren Sprawls. Tiny Darren scoring all the tiny touchdowns, all the tiny time. Give me Darren Sprawls at only fifty four hundred on fan duel, That is

cheaper than Whendel Smallwood. I believe, Okay, as I look, Yeah, Darren Spoils is going for cheaper than Whendel Smallwood last weekend. Darren Sprawls fifteen touches last weekend when the Smallwood I think it was twelve, maybe it was even down to ten. Josh Adams one. Everybody in their right mind, everybody that I've heard so far worth their salt. Maybe not some of the kids, but we'll get to that a little bit later on everyone. Speaking of Saints, you know, the

Saints are something like a eight point favorite. I believe right now they are an eight point favorite. If you believe in that, then you gotta think the game flow is that Philly is gonna be down. What running back do you expect to be on the field for the majority of the game if the Eagles are down, it's Darren m f Sprawls that too, And if I can get him at what is it fifty four hundred? I believe it is fifty four hundred on fandel I think that's viable. Okay, he's gonna catch five six balls out

of the backfield, he's gonna get twelve carries. They have no problem running him in between the tackles. I think this is a value, especially as as most people think if they're down, you know, I don't know if they're down and the third quarter, it's gonna be Darren sprawls on the field. All right. So that's an interesting volume play if you want to go a little bit lower. Here's another thing I think is interesting. This week. You got four tight ends that uh you know, over six

thousand dollars. It's like, you know who they are. You got Travis Kelsey. Cool, what am I gonna tell you that's a bad play. You got Zach Ertz. This is a man who set the NFL record for receptions by a tight end this season. Right, so I'm gonna tell you that's a bad play. You got Rick Abron at six hundred. All this dude has done is like catch touchdowns left and right. He's got like thirteen touchdowns on

the season. And like I said, you know, I think they're gonna have to go back and forth with these colts, right, I'm with the chief. So, yeah, Eric Ebron, I'm with that, you know what, I think it's interesting though, the fourth tight end on FanDuel, the fourth tight end at sixty two hundred dollars is Rob Gronkowski. Now I know that Rob Gronkowski has been a shell of his former self. Now I know that the man is probably gonna need

like a fourth back surgery. I know that if you ask me, I'm sorry, Jim Ross, there's a greater than fifty chance that whenever the Patriots lose, Bronk has played his last game in the NFL. However, they had a bye, right and there's no Josh Gordon anymore, right, So I think this maybe the game where we see like Gronk summon it all up and give that one last herculean effort. You know, I mean, he's as rested as he's gonna be after the bye. You know, this is as high

leverage of a game as we're gonna see. The Chargers, their opponent has that pass rush, they have that secondary. Maybe Derwin James is gonna be on him right in shadowing Gronk, which would be a problem. But there's also a chance that you see Derwin James up Derwin James up in the box supporting the run. There's also a chance you see Derwin James looking at James White out

of the backfield. Right. I think this is as good a chance as any to put a little bit of Gronk in your lineups and hope that this is the week that they've been saving him for, that he's been resting up because now they need him. And in the snow, if Brady am gonna be throwing a downfield, maybe he looks to Gronk a lot. That's the narrative I'm on.

And here's the other thing you're never gonna get. Rob Gronkowski as the fourth most expensive tight end out of eight teams that are playing, he is the fourth most expensive tight end. So I think Gronk is definitely viable as your tight end play. All right. So I wanted to give you that. I want to give you Morelon Mac I like, I want to give you Gronk. I like Darren Sprowls. I like, let me give you one more nugget. And by the way, why are we only

up to twelve likes? Guys? You're right, Jr. He did rest almost all season, right, But at the same time, like, when's it gonna happen? You know, I believe this is the Gronk game, That's what I'm saying. I believe like this might be his last. You know, Jim Ross, you know this better than anybody. Candice, you probably know this

as well. This very well might be the last game Gronk ever plays a Gillette stadium, right, And if that's at least possible, I I really think they might give him uh, you know, I think they might give him a nice little uh. Ten targets, two touchdowns on the way out, and you want to take advantage of that. Here's the last thing I'm gonna give you, and then we're gonna go to some of the uh, we'll go to the phone lines again. The number to call if

you want to get down. I don't care if you're Candice, I don't care, A strong style, whoever you want, if you want to get down. The number to call this three four seven seven six seven six six one four. Here's one other guy like in DFS this week, and I'm gonna have him in every single lineup, and I'm gonna tell you it's someone who is at the minimum price. I have no idea how this guy is at the minimum price. I look at the Saints game. I look at the Saints Eagles game, right, I look at the

wide receivers. You talk about how you like Drew Brees in the Dome all the time, right, And I got Drew Brees, and I got Michael Thomas in my line up already, right. I like Breese, I like Thomas. I like that stacking him up. I think that I think the Saints are gonna dump truck Philly. I think the Nick Foles magic comes to an end. Generally speaking, Uh, we could let that cat out of the bag. I'm on the Saints this week, all right, stand up, get

crunk who that you know what it is? Um? But I look at the wide receivers of the Saints, and you've got Michael Thomas at eight four hundred. The next most expensive Saints wide receiver is Trey Kawon Smith at fifty three hundred. I don't think he's the number two for the Saints. Next Keith Kirkwood at I don't think he's the number two for the Saints. Next Austin Carr at hundred. I don't think he's the number two for the Saints. Tommy Lee Lewis at forty six hundred. I

don't think he's the number two for the Saints. Let me tell you why. And I mentioned a lot of it when I talked about the Marlon mack dfs play. Chiefs of

three and three in their last six games. Two of those three to the Oakland Raiders. The other one win was in overtime against Baltimore. Right. They've lost to good teams, even teams that came in there. They lost to the Chargers who came in there. They lost the Seattle right. Um, so I think they're right for the picking. I think the Chiefs are a different team without Kareem Hunt. Yeah. Damian Williams is good. He's he adds a little something different.

He's a little dynamic, he's got a lot of speed. Y'all know I was on him on that Thursday night football game. I gave that one to you cold, right. But I think this is a different team. I think the Colts defense is underrated, and I think Andrew Luck and Frank Reich have something going right now. The Colts of one ten of their last eleven. I believe in the Chiefs have won three and three in their last six. I know Andy Reid is great with an extra week of prep coming off to buy. I know the Chiefs

at home are good. I know Patty Mahomes is amazing, right, I too, am taking the Indianapolis Colts to win. I think they win outright. I think the Colts are very dangerous.
