It is officially Fantasy football season. I'm excited. I hope you are too. I'm starting to get more and more questions on social media and Patreon.

I'm starting to get more and more draft dates on my calendar, and it's really starting to feel like football season. All right, So here's what we're gonna do. Right in this show. We are going to because camp has opened, so unfortunately, there are some notes about injuries and about pup populists and things of that nature. Okay, it's crazy, but as soon as football starts, the injuries starts. So we're gonna go over that in any kind of notes there.

You gotta understand. I told you also that for the last couple of weeks I was doing this scott Fish Bowl League SF nine hashtag s F nine on Twitter. Okay, and there have been a bunch of content that I want to look at about this as a big time draft to look at to see who's overvalue, who's undervalued. Where do settings come into control? I've been telling you about Scotty Fishball, how the settings there are crazy. I'm gonna go more deep into what you know we learned

from that. Um My man, Danny Otto is back from you know, his tour because he's like, you know, signed to a label and whatnot. He is back in the fantasy pit of misery. Uh, Danny with me, brother man as usual, welcome back. Thanks all right. I'm just saying, and I didn't have you on Thursday, okay, and there was a lot of energy in the chat room about something,

so we have to figure it out today. I didn't want to get into it until, you know, until you were there, you know, Danny, because I think you are a critical piece obviously of the status over beat Cipher. But also I wanted to you know, I needed your input on a couple of things. And we got big timer. We got Perry Ing in the building already when it comes to the status over beat Cipher. So we're gonna get into that, all right. We are also, like I've

been saying, we're going division by division. We're gonna put a spotlight on the a f C South. I got diamonds, I got full gazis. If you want to get a little bit deeper, we got some schedule nuggets. We'll get into those as well. And I'll give you my best bets in the a f C South. If you've been following the show and your real deal stats over Beat Cipher, you know that there's a team in the a f C South that I think, listen, I think could be

in the super Bowl. All right, so we've talked about that, and hopefully you know who I'm talking about. We'll we'll we'll get into that a little bit later on in the show. And then, as always we put the fun in functional sports content here on Fantasy Freestyle. We got some things to talk about, Danny. We'll bump some things off of the group. We'll see what's going on, what sounds most outrageous. As you know, I like to profile some news of the weird and things that are going on.

We have a poll question up as well, Danny, alright, check it out. My pole question is because listen, camp has open that talked about injuries, we're gonna talk about people that I still think may get cut. We're talking about like trade demands, contract holdouts, things of that nature. So the question on Twitter right now you could always follow me at spitting speeds, is how many actual starters will change from now when camps have opened until week one.

So if you look at the depth charts of all the teams right now, you know and you could be like, because right now, for example, we're gonna talk about the AFC South later on, right, so pick any team the A have, says MC South. Uh. You know the Houston Texans, right, you know what their depth chart is right now, DeShawn Watson, Lamar Miller, Deante Foreman, DeAndre Hopkins, will Fuller, he you

know what I'm saying. You know that already. How many spots not only on the Texans but across the NFL, you know, will change between now and week one, And that could happen in a number of ways. Right, That could happen in a contract hold out, right, Austin Ekeler can move in the depth chart. If Melvin Gordon does hold out, that could happen. Someone come to get traded, all right, People could get traded, that still happens. You know, Duke Johnson people thought was gonna get traded. That could

still happen, all right. I think the trade is more likely like other kind of pieces. I think there is a pro bowler who might get traded. I think Trent Williams, left tackle in Washington, may get traded. If that happens, watch what it does to supportive running games? Or will someone get cut? You know, will someone just get cut and picked up somewhere else? A different kind of acquisition, you know, we'll talk about. I've been railing against one um RB, who I really do not think well because

they team's fifty three man roster. You know, what is the impact of that? So what can happen in a number of different ways. But my question is how much of that do you think will happen between now when camps are literally open. Injury is another thing. You know, someone is going to get hurt unfortunately in the next week, like by the time I'm on this air next week doing Monday's Fantasy Freestyle, somebody who matters is gonna go

down unfortunately. Right So how much of that happens? And until the options on Twitter right now are very few that matter enough that I'm waiting to do my draft. I don't want to draft one of these guys and then go down or change or you know, or can't. Battles are real, so a lot of it. We'll be checking in on that poll on Twitter throughout as well. We got the fund and Functional sports content. As you know,

Football season is really coming, all right, so drafts are gonna happen, So let's get on into it. Since the last cipher, all right, since the last time we had a cipher. Remember we're now twice a week Mondays and Thursdays.

So since the last cipher, this has been going down. Okay, they came down with surprise news Tyree Hill not getting suspended. People. All right, this has big impacts. Right. First of all, you know the stable minority, the stable genius in vocal minority has to say ridiculous that how inconsistent the NFL is I told you about this. We had no idea about this. We get word Tyreek Hill. You know kid

would have broken arm, He gets nothing. Yeah, who knows what the voicemail in the airport, what the context was and all that stuff. I don't know if she just trying to get after him. I don't know if she's a gold digg or I don't know if it's a nice family. I don't know if he hit him. I don't know if he didn't. I know that the kid had a broken arm, and I know that NFL has suspended people sixteen games and zero games for behaviors that

are very different on my spectrum personally. But hey, who am I to judge right from a straight up fantasy football perspective, right, Tyreek Hill is a wide receiver one people, Tyreek Hill. People were having as a wide receiver too. If he was missing four games, now he's not missing any He goes into my You know, I believe I personally have top I have three at the wide receiver position, right, I have DeAndre Hopkins, Davante Adams, and Michael Thomas. Is

my three. Beneath that when you get into the Julios, the A b S, the od b jas, the ju jus, the in my opinion, what belongs there also is the t Y Hilton's. The Mike Evans is. Okay, you need to put Tyreek Hill in there, all right. He is a legitimate wide receiver, one one of the top ten wide receivers in the NFL in fantasy football. And you know what's interesting, someone on Patreon asked me about, like how do I put all these rankings together for a

draft strategy. I'm gonna talk about that on Thursday's show because I think it's very interesting. This year kind of nothing left in stone, obviously, but when do you look for the wide also running backs? How are you trying to navigate the draft and your tears. So we'll do a little bit on that maybe later on this week or next week for sure. As drafts are approaching when I finished these divisions, right, But Tyreek Hill is a wide receiver one, all right, Purdue asked me on on Patreon.

On Patreon, do I like Tyree Hill or Odell Beckham? And the answer is Tyreek Hill. If that helps you frame where I think he is in the wide receiver one category, He's probably like six right ahead of Odell Beckham for me. Okay, And but I mean we're grasping at straws. Here was splitting hairs. But I would rather a team with a familiar offense, even though I expect some regression, which I do with Kansas City, other than you know, a new team, a new scheme and new

offense of Odell. But that's besides the point. He is a wide receiver one. However, if you listen to this show and you know about the status over beat Cipher, you know that I'm all about these Chargers, right. I still, and I put this on Twitter, I still believe the Chargers are in fact the um the team, the best team in the a f C E West. I still think they should be the team in the a f C West. That you bet, all right, even though Tyreek

Hill is now playing apparently all sixteen games. Okay, And here's what it is still at this point in time. I've I've heard that now Tyree Kill may get an extension from Kansas City. I've heard now that Tyree Hill may get traded from Kansas City. So you don't believe any of these reports that are out there. But I'm telling you that is where are again where our poll question comes in. Right if you drafted about a week ago, you drafted and everybody was okay to draft Tyreek Hill

as though he was missing four games. Now he is not. There is your value. The other thing that has happened since we last met in a cipher here with the status over beat Cipher and Fantasy Free style, it's more talk about people's roster spots. One most specifically got a lot of buzz over the weekend, and people it was the guy I've been telling you about for a while, Shady McCoy. Now more and more people are starting to realize that his roster spot may not be guaranteed. Okay,

there's Frank Gore there. They signed t J. Yelden, They signed both these guys, and they drafted kids single Tarry. I believe right in the um you know, I think the third round something like that. They have plans for him. He's on the wrong side of third he could I see him winding up with a different team, you know, like a Houston Minnesota who's backing up Cook Green Bay. Aaron Jones always gets hurt, Carolina. What if McCaffrey, you know what I mean? Aren't there so many options? I'm

now a lot of other people talking at about that. Now, if you were early with it, you had that information, you hopefully leveraging that information. I was giving it to you early. We'll see what happens, okay. Also another guy just slow to remember about Shady McCoy. I'm telling you right now. Part of the reason I'm so high and Danny, we gotta get this clip ready for my man, carry On Johnson, keep calm and carry on. Part of the

reason I'm so high on carry On Johnson. Part of the reason carry On Johnson is one of my two thousand and nineteen god it is. It's because I don't think theo Rittic is gonna make the fifty three man roster similar to like Shady McCoy's kind of thing. All right, and that's the opportunity I think he gets watched theo ritic and the lines as well. Hey we have that one. We don't have to carry on one yet though, huh, we can't play this, we'll get taken off of YouTube.

People come, Danny, don't get don't get me in trouble. All right. But here's the other thing now with camp opening puplist, okay, um Sony Michelle on the puplist with his knee, he had a nice scope. I don't think he's in any danger, but the knee history is real, has been there. DeAndre Hopkins for his shoulder. No fear that he's gonna be in any danger for week one. Don't worry about it. All's Clay on the pup list.

Gotta watch out for that one. Interestingly enough, Mammy Sanders not And I've been hyping up Dashawn Hamilton's because I think Manny Sanders is gonna miss time. And I still am hyping up Dashawn Hamilton's. I saw a clipse of day Shawn at practice today looking great. Right, and here's my thing. You know, Dashawn Hamilton's getting reps with Joe Flackle.

You know who's not right now, Manuel Sanders. Okay, so all of my projections and stuff like that for Denver and Dashawn Hamilton's as a diamond in the rough as like a two nineteen Goda day still whole true, all right, And but I do have sad news here just because you know camp opens, these things are gonna happen. Michael Bennett. Michael Bennett broke his ankle, uh, defensive lineman. Now if the Atlanta Falcons broke his ankle, He's gonna be done, you know, for a while. So these things are in

fact happening. That gets you caught up on some of the things, um that are going on right now. But listen, here's what I think is very interesting. I've been telling you about, um this Scotty Fishbowl League, right and those drafts are pretty much done. And uh, Ryan McDowell over at Rhodal World did a nice article looking at overrated and underrated people as per Scotty Fishball draft these to

be like a DP. And I think it's interesting. And people that he had as overrated, meaning like, uh, their a DP is a lot higher than what had happened in the Scotty Fishball league. And if you're not familiar Scotty Fishball, like twelve hundred teams. It's like half fantasy experts, half um, you know, fans that just want to get down and compete with the experts and solfed like a

good charitable cause. Right. But these are twelve hundred teams drafting in similar conditions, right, So it's a nice little reference point when you're looking at a DP mock draft, things of that nature. And check this out. Look at these quarterbacks that fell Brady, Rivers and Breezes. Brady fall in a QB twenty two. Rivers fall in a QB nineteen. Breeze fall on a QB eleven. Some of that is because of the settings. So the rushing quarterbacks um did

better in this draft. Teams preferred the Russian quarterbacks, for example, Lamar Jackson up in this uh in this draft, you know, relative to another a DP. What I think is interesting here though, is also the idea of waiting on quarterback. Look at these guys. Philip Rivers could be nineteen, Tom Brady could be twenty two, Drew Brees couldb eleven. It just further reinforces that point that I've been making for the last few years. Now, just wait on quarterback. I

think it's interesting Kareem Hunt is someone who fell. I'm not high on Kareem Hunt this year. However, I do think it is very important because I don't think Nick Chubb should be as high as he is, because in your fantasy playoff push and in your fantasy playoffs, Nick Chubb will be splitting with Kareem Hunt, and I think that her first both of their values. You know. I think that's interesting as well. Um Landry went here lower than his ADP, Jarvis Landry, and that could be an

Oldell Beckham thing. That could be an in Joku thing, so keep an eye on that. Um. I think it's also interesting that both Marcus Valence Gandling and Geronimo Allison kind of dropped here. And I think that's because here in Scotty fish Bowl, as opposed to in regular a DP, people are not really sure which one are going to be, which one of those two guys is going to be the number to watch Stephen in Green Bay. And I think that's consistent with what I've been seeing. I kind

of think it's MVS. I know a lot of people think it's Allison, but the thing is that you know, a DP I think makes a jump to think that, Um, it's one or the other. That is Geronimo Allison, right, but we and Scotty Fish thought it was a little bit more even, thus dropping them both almost. So that's really interested in me. Hey, Danny, when we come back, what we're gonna do some other guys by the way, that we're um better rated Courtland Sutton, uh Mark at

Courtland Sutton is one as a receiver. I told you that could be tied to the man he said, there's and I believe I believe Hamilton's The one that's interesting is Mark Andrews a tight end for Baltimore. He's getting a lot of love. Think about it, Lamar Jackson and throwing the ball downfield. Mark Andrews will be his security blanket. I like that one. If you want to tell me one of those two teams is gonna win the a f C. Cool, Fine, I understand what you're saying. They're just not where I see value. Those

are the top two choices. That's not my value. I've said it before. I'll say it again. People know in the chat room already. My two teams in the a f C this year are the Los Angeles Chargers. You know I'm with them, bolts baby, and the other one is who I believe will be the top of the a f C South. I think they are building the absolute right way. They went and drafted a guard at six overall last year, Quentin Nelson turned out to be

all pro. They have changed and improved their defense from something like the d v O A up to ten. This year. They have added in the exact right places, and people forgot that. Andrew Luck is an m VP candidate. Every single year he plays sixteen games. The Indianapolis Colts are gonna win the a f C UH South and forget about that. We'll talk about how I could bet them later. Right here, what we do for fantasy purposes, I give you Backmon's in the rough and fantasy fooazes

them too. For good about Mike Diamond out of these are relatively speaking, right, and this is a good test case. Like I got two diamonds for you for the Indianapolis called. One of them is t Y Hilton, and you're like Daan, t Y Hilton's like our you know, wide receiver ten or eleven. Anyway, what I'm telling you is this, I believe t Y Hilton could be a top five or six wide receiver. I would rather him than say, Antonio Brown, even, I would rather him than Juju even. Okay, I think

t Y Hilton belongs in the group with Julio. Okay, the last time, t Y Hilton and Andrew Luck we're both healthy for like fifteen sixteen games. Go check the record books, go look at who led the NFL and receiving yards that year. I believe it was two thousand and sixteen. Your answer, t Y M. F. Hilton, That's who. Okay. I'm telling you t why baby, I love him. I believe he is a legit number one wide receceiver for your fantasy team, and you can get him in the

third round. If you're one of these guys that want to go running back, run back at the top of your draft, fine, you could be staring at t Y Hilton in the third round. And I love it all right, I'm in then the rough, you guys are gonna look up. We're gonna be talking about this week twelve, week thirteen. People are gonna be talking about t Y Hilton week in week out, helping people win their leagues and win that cash. My fugazy with the Indianapolis Colts. Let me

tell you something. People I know love this guy. People are all over this guy because of what happened last year. I am not I'm talking about Eric Ebron. Eric Ebron is going right now? Is like tight end eight nine something like that. Bull give me Vance McDonald over Eric Ebron. Bull, I would consider in Joku over Ebron. Okay, Bull, give me Jared Cook over Ebron. I will not have shares of Ebron this year. The reason he is a the reason you need to forget about him, is the fact

that touchdowns are variables. There's a lot of variants there. He had thirteen touchdowns last year, that will regress. Jack Doyle wasn't healthy last year, he will eat into that share. Okay. If Ebron goes from thirteen touchdowns to even a good season seven touchdowns, that difference will take him down a tier to where you should not be drafting him where you are drafting him if you follow me, Okay, give me other tight ends in that tier before Eric Ebron.

Give me even Vance McDonald before Eric Ebron. So wait and let someone else take Eric Ebron. The other thing about Eric Ebron leads me to an acquisition they made too that I think are interesting. You know what else is gonna eat into Eric ebron touchdowns. I know this sounds crazy because I have. I've defecated all over this guy for the better part of his career when he was in Carolina. Devin Funcius, I actually think could be

interesting here. Devin Funcious will be a red zone target for this team, eating into Eric Ebron's touchdowns, but also carving out a viable role for himself. Think about a t Y Hilton's not a big dude, Okay, neither is the slot kid Paris Campbell, who I think could be an interesting guy to watch Aris Campbell in the slot can do some things for the Colts. But I think, remember how I say you want different kinds of wide receivers.

T Y Hilton, Devin Funcius and Paris Campbell make a perfect trio of what different kind of matchups, what they want to do. And I do think Funcious could be viable in some weeks. I think he could wind up being a red zone touchdown kind of guy. Mark it down, Jilly Dilley, put it in your notes. Devon Funcius another diamond in the rough because of the role. And remember he was in Carolina running offense and Cam Newton accuracy. He's now in the Indianapolis offense with Andrew Luck. In

Carolina he was asked to be the white out. One. In Indianapolis, he's being asked to be the wide out to watch Devan Funcious as well. All right, let's go to another team here in the a f C South, I'm giving you diamonds and gazes. Here we go to the Jacksonville Jaguars, also in this division. My diamond and this one, honestly, guys similar kind of situation. I think the hate has gone way too far on Leonard Fournett Leonard Fournette. Here's the thing, all right, Leondond Fournette. Yeah,

he's an injury risk. Tell me what running back in that area in the ten to twenties is not an injury risk. Davante Freeman, Marlon Mack, Aaron Jones, Dalvin Cook who is not an injury risk in that area? Carry On Johnson. So you have to draft any of these guys with the assumption that they're gonna play for you. That's why I like Davanta Freeman more than most, and that's why I like Leonard Fournette more than most. This guy has been a top twelve guy in points per

game both of his years. He is going right now as RB fifteen. I think that's a value. I think he is a top end running back to and if you get fifteen games from him, he's a He's an RB one. People just don't think you will. But that's the same thing you would think about a Davante Freeman or a lot of the other guys that are at that level. I'll take Leonard Fournette over Damien Williams. I'll take him over and Chubb. You tell me Todd Gurley doesn't have injury concerns. You know what I mean. T J.

Yelden is gone. There, there's the kid Armstead, the rookie. That does not concern me. This team, with a reputable quarterback will have defense is not in the box as much anymore. They may be winning games again this year and running out the clock. I'm on Leonard Fournette as a slight diamond in the rough. I can see him in the back end RB one production my full gazzey. However, forget about D. D. Westbrook. He's going as wide receiver at thirty nine right now, and who knows about this

he team. What I do know is even with Folds there a quarterback, they're going to be a running team. They're going to be based on the run. So I don't really like any of these wide receivers, but if you're gonna pick any of them, pick the one that's raided the lowest. Take a flyer on Marquis Lee because if he's healthy, he'll actually be the number one wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars. I don't know why people are seeing D. D. Westbrook going as wide receiver thirty nine.

There are plenty of wide receivers at that level, Courtlands and Sutton. We just talked about overvalued from from Scotti Fishbowl, right, there's a number of other guys I would take well before um, you know, d D. Westbrook or any Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver. You heard it here first, all right, But then as we talk about some of the schedule, also Indianapolis, though, I'm all over Indianapolis. People are gonna think that they're not putting their best foot forward. Though.

Look at their schedule. They play on the road for the Chargers Week one. That's tough. That's my a f C Championship game preview right then their prime time games, look at this. They got Kansas City Week five on the road in Arrowhead. They have New Orleans Monday Night football in the Dome. They have Houston on Thursday Night football at Houston. They play four road prime time games. The public perception of them is gonna be that they can't win the big one, that they defecate the mattress.

I'm telling you, I think it's seasons them. I'm all over there. Over win total at nine and a half, I'm all over their division at minus one forty. I actually believe they got a nice little chance to win the a f C. And I like Andrew Luck and I believe nine to one to win the m v

P of the NFL. Similarly, with Jacksonville, I lean under. Okay, I think there's a universe here where Nick Foles is this year's version of case Keenum coming off, you know, his little spurt and then when he transfers teams and all that. You gotta hope that John d. Filippeolo, the former coordinator up there in Minnesota, his coach in Philadelphia, can help this offense. We shall see, all right, but

I'm I think it is right there. If anything, I might lean slightly under for jack I think there were seven and nine kind of eight and eight team, you know about their defense. Freeman's head history and ct E potential doesn't chronic. You're telling me they're not talking about Dalvid Cook and his knees in the same way. Um, Aaron Jones doesn't already have the label of injury prone. I just named five already. Carry on, Johnson didn't leave with a knee injury that he also like, This is my point. So if you want to put that label on for Net in that area, and you also have to look at all those other running backs that are in the same tier and acknowledge

that's the same thing. Now people are talking about big timers also saying whoa for Net over Damien Williams. Now. I understand that Damien Williams is a very hot, sexy name, big timer And you know, I love you, brother man. You just leap frogby in the baseball league. It's all love. But when have you ever seen Damian Williams play sixteen games in a season as a lead back that warrants RB one consideration. Never. He played four good games at the end of last season behind Before that, he was

a backup to Kenyan Rake in Miami. Last year, the Miami Dolphins thought that he should be a backup to Kenyan Drake. Now we think that, oh, he's definitely gonna stand the wear and tear of sixteen games and be the lead dog. Why because it's Andy Reid's offense. I don't buy it. I'm sorry. So when you put him in the same level, like, there's no reason to not think that for net can't at the end of the season return the same value. That's why, relatively speaking, he

is a diamond in the rough. People talking about um uh lat Murray as well. Lat Murray is interesting to melt Murray though, is back. Remember that he's not backing up Kamara and um in New Orleans. You want to know why, because it puts schedule parody into play. With fourteen teams in the league, you play the other thirteen teams once and exactly once. And then you get into your playoffs with a twelve team leads, you're playing like some other team once or twice, and then that could be scheduling balance. I don't like that.

If we can get fourteen, that's great. So here's what we need, Danny. We need you, we need me, We need twelve other people. And I've seen some of you on Twitter. I've seen some of you on Patreon. I've seen some of you in the chat room raising your hand and saying speeds I want in. Now, this league is not going to be a big money crazily because I'm spread too thin. I think Sunday evening you blaying working, you know, an they ain't hung over hopefully that kind of stuff if we did it. But here's the other thing, Danny, I know a lot of people that have expressed interest are in the Pacific

time zone. Okay, so we gotta split the difference and have it be something that like can start and it doesn't go too late for the East coast heads. What can be representative for the West coast heads? Because I know I've heard from like Mendel Bruce, you know, like Fred Martinez is in here. I got Jilly Dilley of course as well. You know what I mean. So what I'm suggesting is a Sunday evening at like I don't know, like seven o'clock eastern, eight o'clock eastern, so it's like
