You are now tuned into the Speeds and Spitting Statistician on Fantasy Freestyle. Next on that side, book all the microphone. You know that I'm the best yet, Martinez, you know what it is. It's your boy, Dame Martinez a k A. Speeds a k A. To Spitting Statistician a k A. Jilly Dilley knows what's up. The stable

Genius and vocal Minority. And welcome to another episode of the Fantasy Freestyle right here on the Fantasy Sports Network. We got a great show for you on a draft week Tuesday. I know everybody is getting excited, getting ready for the NFL Draft, which is going to pop off Thursday night. And let me tell you something right now, if you don't know where you're gonna watch the NFL Draft, you need to watch it right here on the Fantasy Sports Network. It's gonna be your boy, Dame Martinez. We're

gonna have you know, the Fantasy executive, Corey Parson. We're gonna have my man, the tsar of the playbook, Emery Hunt. We will be breaking everything down into a fine powder and then giving that powder to the former coach of the Miami Dolphins. We'll see what he does with it. But that's another topic for another day. We got a good show. Like I said, what we're gonna do is we're gonna start off by breaking down the running back position. I'm gonna give you my you know, my diamonds and

food gay zees at the running back spot. We all know about se Kwon Barkley. But when we get into the later part of the first round, the second round, you know, day two and three, I'm gonna tell you what I am looking for out of these running backs. And you know it's kind of different flavors, right, different strokes for different folks. So I'll be talking about that.

I'm also gonna tell you because as you know here with the Stat's overbeat Cipher and your boys speeds, what we do here is help you win your leagues and win that cash, and there is cash to be one on the NFL Draft. There are some prop bets out there, like it's the Super Bowl. We don't know what color gatorade will be poured on the number three overall pick, but we will have some prop bets, and I'm telling you there is some easy money out there, so we're

gonna go through that. I'm gonna tell you what to look for on Thursday night later on in the show. I am also once again honored we're gonna have Anthony Connors here um with d k MS. This is a guy who I tell you all the time, swab your cheeks, send it in and how DKMS helps to fight against blood cancer. Well, Anthony Connors has actually done this. Okay, this is not in fantasy on the Fantasy Sports Network. This is in real life, and we're gonna talk to Anthony.

He's a bit of a New York baseball fans. We'll chop it up about the Yankees and the Mets. As well. And then, as you know, as always, we put the fun in functional sports radio and we're gonna continue to

do that. We've been breaking down the rapping athletes. I have an NFL Draft addition of that, and I'm gonna tell you why the university you know, u MBC, the sixteen seed that did their work over the one seed Virginia last month, I'm gonna tell you why that wasn't the only time they had an incredible, incredible upset in college sports. So we got all that and more on this episode of the Fantasy Freestyle. We also got a pull question up as always. Okay, you can hit me

up on Twitter at Spitting Speeds. The poll question I have up because listen, we all talk about the NFL Draft and how excited everybody is. But the thing is, honestly, you probably just talk going about the first round because then on Friday they do rounds two and three, and then are you a die hard that will watch on Saturday rounds four through seven? You know, seven hours of coverage to hear Todd McShay talk about a random Will Lyne back a round of a D two school. I

want to know. Okay, So we got the poll question that's up right now. I want to know how much of the NFL Draft will you watch this week? Is it's just the first round on Thursday when you see rounds two and three? Will you watch it all weekend long, even though spring has sprung here on the East Coast? Or are you not you know, truly invested in It's like, listen, I'll read the recap on Monday and see the new guys that I have on my team. Let me know,

hit me up at spitting speeds as always. All right, let's check this out. Let's start with football today. Let's get into some news and note since the last time I talked to you guys here on the Fantasy Freestyle. First of all, Willie Snead has signed with the Baltimore Ravens. I think this is a very interesting signing. Okay, two years for seven million. And there's a couple of tentacles on this one. The first is this is clearly in

response to Cam Meredith signing with the Saints. Okay, Cam Meredith is going to be the number two receiver from New Orleans this year, behind Michael Thomas. They still love Ted ginn Jr. Right, but he's down the field over the top threat, right, So that left Willie Sneed without a chair. When the music stops, he goes to Baltimore. Okay, And the other thing that I think is interesting on this is there were some people out there saying that the Ravens could have been a potential landing spot for

Mr Dez Bryant. You could probably now check him and the Baltimore Ravens off that list when it comes to Dez. Remember, they in Baltimore still trying to replace Mike Wallace, They're trying to replace Jeremy Macklin. So there's a lot of change over for Joe Flacco in that Baltimore offense, and Willie Snead will be a part of it. Okay. We're at the time of the year also where teams are deciding whether or not to pick up their fifth year option on some of the players. And there's some obvious ones.

Amari Cooper in Oakland, yes, right, Shane Ray in Denver, yes, what's not so clear if you remember four years ago when the Giants had a top ten pick and the Giants decided to go ahead and draft an offensive lineman. No, it wasn't Ronnie Stanley out of Notre Dame, who would have been a great pick. No, it wasn't Jack Conklin, who would have been a great pick. They decided to go ahead and get the tackle out of Miami. Eric Flowers. Now it is coming up. Do they want to pick

up his fifth year option. There's a lot of talk that they may not. There's also reports out right now that Eric Flowers maybe on the trading block during the NFL Draft. We are going to see some trades happen on Thursday. We're going to see people moving and shake and moving up, moving down. Eric Flowers could be on the move as well for the New York Football Giants. Also, listen, I call this misinformation week. All right, there is nobody out there that is giving you what they really think

at this point. This is misinformation. This is smoke screen status. And it continued this morning. Okay, there were reports this morning that the Cleveland Browns at number one, are in fact considering Baker Mayfield out of Oklahoma. Now listen, over the last week or two, I've heard them considering Josh Allen out of Wyoming. I've heard them considering Sam Donald out of USC. I've heard them considering now Baker Mayfield. Right, you hear Rosen in the mix as well. Here's what

I gotta say. If the Cleveland Browns do truly like Alan, like Mayfield, and like Donald, what they need to do is number one draft, say Kwon Barkley, and then at

four they'll get whichever quarterback falls to them. Right, if they truly are cool with all three of these guys, It's kind of like the Jets when they trade it up to three and people are like, Oh, if you're gonna trade up, you gotta know who you're gonna get, And the Jets are like, now, we're comfortable with Baker, We're comfortable if it's if it's Donald, we're comfortable if it's Rosen. But if you're the Browns, why not do

the same exact philosophy. Take what everybody believes that the generational talent in Sae Kwon Barkley at one, and then you know, maybe the Giants go Rosen, maybe the Jets go Donald or Mayfield. Regardless, you still have your guy, because no one else is as high on Josh Allen as it looks like the Cleveland Browns are doors talking about he likes the big hands. Okay, so maybe if he's into the measurables. His guy will be there at four.

Keep an eye on that. When we're sitting at this table on Thursday night with Corey and Emery and blue Wood and maybe first team all lit at about eight oh three, you're gonna hear me say the same exact thing. Why not grab se Kwan at one? And then whoever false you is gonna be under Team Mobile Tyrod Taylor for a year. Anyway, Get the generational talent when you can. This is a guy that looks better than Ezekiel Elliott. This is a guy that looks better than Leonard Fournette.

This is a guy that looks better than Todd early in college. And it all worked out, okay for fantasy and real football purposes for those guys. What then, instead, what you're gonna wind up with Bradley Chubb when you just drafted Myles Garrett? What are you gonna do? Spend the top five pick on a guard and quit Nelson? I don't think that's the case. Okay, get the best talent available, But then again, what do I know? Right?

You should obviously just listen to the Cleveland Browns. They've been doing it very well, especially there the way they decide to pick quarterbacks over the last fifteen or twenty years. So here's what I want to do though. Okay, if we all know se Kwon Barkley is you know, the top running back? Blah blah blah. We've talked about the quarterbacks. I've given you my profile on Donald who I like on Rosen who listen. They all talk about him from the neck up and his mechanics and all that stuff.

But dude is slow. Dude is not mobile in this day and age in the NFL, dude will get concust Okay, I'm telling you right now. Alan like people think he's big, big Ben, people think he's Carson Wentz. I think he's a b U s t all over him. That's okay, Okay, Wyoming, who are you playing against? I understand the Wentz idea, but I would stay away from him. I like Donald, I like Mayfield. I also think that if Lamar Jackson winds up with the right team, he can be an

absolutely dynamic weapon. But we talked about the quarterbacks already. Let's talk about the running backs. I want to give you my thumbnail sketch here on the running backs. We all know about Tae Kwon Barkley. Right, So that's not you know, if if Sa Kwan is this year, Zeke

Elliott or Leonard four Nett, let's all assume that. Let me talk to you guys about the you know, the five running backs that are under him in my opinion that I also believe will get drafted either on Thursday or Friday and have a new NFL team before the sun rises on on Saturday. And round four of the NFL Draft. Outside of Kwan, there's five guys, okay, And I'm gonna start with the guy that I actually like

the best and most people don't. And I'm talking about my man, W Shard Penny out of San Diego State. This guy is an all around back. He ran four four at the combine. This is a guy. Um, The question is can he pass protect? Right? But here's the thing that's the question about all running backs coming into the league. Pass protection is the last thing that backs making the transition from college to the NFL usually get. So if pass protection is his weakness, let's say, um

with it. This is a guy. He is a threat out of the passing game. He is a threat between the tackles. He is a threat on the edge. He has the speed to break away. Before Penny, there was a guy named Danielle Pumphrey at San Diego State with the Aztecs. He's now I believe he got drafted. I believe he's on the Eagles. But this is a guy who had something like the NC double a record for all time scrimmage yards. And now Penny comes in and does the exact same thing. Remember the name because he

is going to go late in fantasy drafts. Remember last year we all knew about Leonard four Net, but someone found Kareem Hunt in their draft. Someone and found Alvin Kamara in their draft. I believe that Rashad Penny out of San Diego State, the Aztecs, he is going to be the guy who makes a team very very happy and gets drafted late second or in the third round. That is my guy. Okay, there is still four other guys I want to talk to you about, and two

of them are in the same school. Two of them are out of the University of Joja, the Joji Bulldogs. Let's talk about both of them, Sony Michelle and Nick Chubb. I want to start with Chubb. Okay, this is a four year player. His freshman year, Nick Chubb was actually the guy behind Todd Gurley. Okay, and in flashes he looked awesome. Okay, he looked good as a freshman. Okay. He had a big time injury in his sophomore year

is junior year. He came back many many people think he rushed himself back, didn't perform well, but then look great again this year as a senior. The comp that a lot of people draw is m j D Maurice Jones Drew. Why because he's small and he's like five ten two five pounds, right. People say he's got good feet, he gets in and out of the hole really well,

he's got disciplined in the scheme, right. And the other thing is they talk about how stocky his legs are, that he's got a low center of gravity and big, you know, big legs that defenders kind of bounce off him. That's why I get the Maurice Jones Drew comp. I think this guy if in the right system where he can square up against the hole and be able to run inside the tackles. The only problem with him is that many people might perceive him as this kind of

early down work. Right, he might be perceived as like a Jordan Howard kind of guy, a guy that can play on first and second down, running between the tackles, but not necessarily be that dynamic playmaker that a lot of teams are looking for right now. I gotta tell you, though, I think this kid is a beast, and I like Nick Chubb out of Georgia. Some team is going to be very happy with him, I believe early second round.

The other Bulldog back is Sony Michelle. First of all, we're gonna hear from Sony Michelle a little bit later on in the show. Sony Michelle a k A fly guy too Stacks. We'll talk about that a little bit later on with stats overbeat Cipher. But Sony Michelle, it's kind of more your your zone scheme run like what they do in Denver, right They they stretch it out the one cut and go hit the hole. Okay, and

that's what Sony Michelle is. This guy ran a four five, which is kind of slower than, like I said, Penny, and slower than some other backs. But you know who else ran a four five last year. Alvin Kamara ran a four five last year, so I wouldn't have any

kind of problem with Sony Michelle. Sony Michelle had a huge game in prime time when the stakes were high against Oklahoma in the National semifinal, had over two hundred scrimmage yards, and a lot of people believe that of these two backs, he is the one who is more fit for the two thousand eighteen version of the NFL, can more get outside and do more in the passing game. There are two other backs that I want to talk

to you about right here. The first is who many believe is the number two overall prospect at the running back position, and that is Ronald Jones out of USC Okay, out of Southern cal Ronald Jones. And this is a guy I'm talking This is another one of these between the tackles violent runners, Okay, an absolute violent runner. Think about Um, think about Chris Ivory, think about Marshawn Lynch. This is the type cast, This is the mold that

Ronald Jones is out of. A true violent runner. The only problem is that this is a guy that doesn't really add much in the pass game. This is a guy who they're gonna take off the field in third down. This is a guy who's gonna be part of a running back by committee. Think of a Derrick Henry type. Okay, this is a guy that if you like him for fantasy, you want touchdowns and you want rushing yards. This is Little Garant Blunt type. Okay. So in in a PPR league,

I would go ahead and fade Ronald Jones. Similarly for the guy out of l S U Darius Guiss guys is kind of like Ronald Jones to me, and to be honest, when we talk about SEC running backs, what happened in Alabama For a lot of these guys the Trent Richardson's of the world, right, think about l S. You think about the Jeremy Hills of the world. That is an apt comparison for guys. He is the guy I am lowest on of these running backs. Okay, I will say this. He's a power runner. In the last

two years he had twenty six touchdowns. In the last two years he had five hundred yard games and that span Leonard four Nette had four. So he has that potential. But I am looking for guys that are multiple threats. Swiss Army Knives can be on the field all three downs, and to me, that is Sony Michelle. To me, that is Rashod Penny obviously, say Kwon Barkley, and of these bigger in between the tackle guys, I like Nick Chubb better than Ronald Jones, better than Geics out of l s. You.

Here's what we gotta do. We're gonna take a quick break. We gotta you know, pay the bills here at the Fantasy Sports Network. When we come back on the Fantasy Freestyle and the Stats Overbeat Cipher, I am going to be joined by man Anthony Connors. He's an honorary remember of the Stats over Beat Cipher. We're gonna talk about, hey, how easy it is to help to fight against blood cancer. And then we're gonna chop it up about a little

bit of Yankees, a little bit of Mets. When we come back at your boy, Dame Martinez Speeds the spitting Statistician, and you are listening to the Fantasy Freestyle right here on the Fantasy Sports Network. We're back with d k MS here or Anthony Connors come on right back. They you know that you can listen to this show live on the award winning Fancy Sports Radio Network. You're free Fantasy source twenty four hours a day. Welcome back to the Fantasy Freestyle right here on the Fantasy Sports and now work at your boy. Jane Martinez speeds the spitting statistician here on the Fantasy Freestyle. I told you guys, um at the top of the show that we are going to be joined by Anthony Connors, and

here he is. Okay, absolutely absolutely so, UM we're gonna get into it for uh, you know, we're gonna talk a little bit about dk MS, We're gonna talk about some New York baseball um and all that. I do want to let you guys know I have a couple of Major League Baseball news and notes to get through real quick to update everybody, because you know you've got fantasy baseball leagu's going on right now. If you're making you know, weekly changes or whatever the case, maybe I

gotta tell you. Listen, Chris Bryant was drilled in the head on Sunday, right but he passed his initial concussion tests, so hopefully it is not a huge deal with Chris Bryant. I also want to say, listen, on Sunday. I don't know if you saw this, Anthony Brandon Belt had a twenty one pitch at bat. Okay, he had a twenty one pitch at bad verse him a Briah. He ultimately lined out to right field. But here's the thing. Then later on in that game he hit a hit a

home run. Four days in a row. He's hitting a home run. Brandon Belt is hot, and he has only owned in forty five of fantasy leagues right now. That might be someone hot in the streets you want to pick up. Also, on the other side of things, when we're talking about baseball pitchers, Patrick Corbyn, it's out of control right now. He's four and oh one eight nine e r A. This guy leaves the NL and strikeouts and only thirty three innings. He's got forty eight strikeouts already.

He has only owned I thought he'd be a hundred percent owned. He's only owned in eighty seven in percent of league. So right now, you and your boys are at the bar. If there are nine of you, one of you are in a league where you can go ahead and get Patrick Corbin right now. So I like that. The other one thing, I'll say, some call ups we got so I was high profile rookies. Okay, we start in Colorado. Carlos Gonzalez is down on the d L with a hamstring injury. They're calling up David dal who

was a kind of high profile rookie. UM wasn't hitting that well in Triple A, but they're gonna give him a shot. He's gonna get at bats. And then, of course, as we know, UM over the weekend it was Glabor Day weekend for it was Glabor Day weekend for the Yankees. Um, Glabor Torre has got his first hit yesterday, high potential rookie, number five in the entire Major League Baseball. He's gonna come up and we're gonna get into this a little

bit later on. I don't know, Anthony. I mean, it's well, listen, that's high praise, it's absolutely but he he might he might start off the same way. Fair enough. I want him to be like d D. First, let's baby step, let's crawl before we can walk. Let's probably before we can walk, right, But listen, without further ado, this is

Anthony Connors and Anthony. We're gonna get into New York baseball for sure, but I want to start with this because listen, if you listen to the fantasy Freestyle part of the stats over Beat Cipher, you know about d k MS and you know how we have been talking about how the fantasy sports network in d KMS have um collaborated to help the fight against blood cancers. You guys are really that's awesome. You know more than anybody

that I've ever heard of. That's awesome. Yeah. I mean every show, anybody who listens knows we talked about it. How easy it is. Right, So can you tell me because you've done it right? All I've done, you know is uh, I I admit I did the swab. I did the swab. I did the swab giant the giant Q tips. It is. It is easy, peasy, lemon squeezy easy,

all right, So it takes a couple of minutes. Right, here's the thing, um, anybody who wants to do it, and I hope you all do, you can go to d k MS dot org and they will send you that's right. The the kit comes with the two giant Q tips and a couple of other things. They're going to tell you how to do it. It's really simple. You know, swab your cheeks, swab your check a couple

of times. You put it. You put it in the envelope that they said that they will provide for you, and you don't have to pay postage and send it right back the postage for you. And then you're part of the system and you could potentially be a match for somebody who has blood cancer. And you know, it's unlike other cancers on the cancers Dan, this is a cancer. Blood cancers are the type of cancers that actually can be sure by other people, by by you know, match

owners somebody. You know, every other cancer you have to go through you know, chemo and all friends of other stuff. This they probably use some chemo too, but blood. There is a absolutely and and oftentimes it is not a family member. Wow, often times it's not. And that's why we reach out to the fantasy sports community. Okay, because we know everybody out there, We know the demographic of everybody out there, and that's exactly what they want. Let me ask you this, Anthony, Um, how does it feel,

you know, in essence, like you match with someone? Right, you said you don't necessarily know the person, But like when you heard that you match, it's not that you don't necessarily know the person. You do not know the first the whole idea of it is that it's anonymous. When when I was when I was matched in two thousand and ten, I was told and that was about a year after I had sent it in, right, you know, well, no, I didn't send in. I swapped. I I had left.

I had stayed in town Friday night, was a hungover. The Daily News had written a couple of articles regarding you know, this little girl, Jazmina and Nema, six year old girl who was suffering from it. And you know it's the type of story that you know, you kind of have to run it. You know. This is when I was working to day on yous and they had you know, they ran several again, several articles on this young girl pictures, like I said, jewerful. You know, how

could you not strings clearly? Um? So they were having a donor drive at her public school on that Saturday. Um. And you know, I'd read about it, and again it was one of these things where I just happened to be in the place, the right place at the right time, dumblock. And so I went over there really just sort of an anticipation of maybe just checking it out. You know, it really didn't and I'm going in sure, but you know, some people it was like when I got to this

the block, it was like a carnival like atmosphere. Chamus sort of sets this stuff up, like you know, it's it's it's not it's not just it's not sound, it's not it's not clinical, it's not it's not like it's it's not it's not like a sterile environment. It's like, yeah, come on, come on, hang out, let's have some fun and get some good work done, you know. And that's

exactly how. And so you know, the next thing, I know, I'm swabbing and then I go home, you know, I'm you don't even think exactly, And I think that's what Dane. I think that's what a lot of people, you know, forget because you know you'll do it. You'll you know, you'll, you'll be at a supporting event, you'll be at some place, you'll be a donor drive and you'll you'll you'll be

taken in and you and you do it. You're like absolutely, and then you don't hear about and in some cases you might not ever hear it even forget about it. That the important thing is that not everybody's going to be a match, and because it's not everybody's going to be a match, you might not ever hear from it from from from anybody you know regarding it. So you only here after you if you do, in fact match

with someone, if you potentially matchic. That's the important thing as well, is that is that there's a lot of things, a lot of protocols that I go through to ensure a perfect match. It's it's the initial match, which matches up a number of factors, but not every single one. It's once once you are matched up initially, that's when you decide. You know, they asked you would you like to go through with it. You don't have to. No, there's no there's no commitment, um. But there's a commitment

because it's the right thing to do. You know, you'd be it's not a good thing if you don't did absolutely. I mean, there was never any doubt that I was going to to you know, go in for a penny, in for a pound on this thing. Never any doubt that Anthony cons regardless of whether you know, because at the time I thought it was like they were going to go in more invasive through the back, through the back, yes, which you know, which I was like, but you know,

I didn't care. I was like, you know, you were I mean, they said to me, and they gave me three things. They told me three pieces of information. That's all because again it's an anonymity thing. She was a thirty year old woman. Does the information you got about the manage woman leukemia? Those three things could be anywhere in the world, anywhere in the world, Uh, any kind of person, any look, any religion. I mean, I have

no idea. And do you have any opportunity to um, maintain contact with this person to say thank you or anything like that you're able to send out well the postcard or something, you know, because I remember when I got my a c L surgery, they gave me a little thing of like to send to the family of the guy who's ligament I now have in my knee. Um, it's true, it's true. And I was like, hey, I want to know a little bit about you, like where

you an athlete, growing up and stuff like that. But so after you match, if you're if you're a pro athlete, you know, send me some tickets exactly so you match and you know it's a thirty year old woman who may have leukemia. And then after that, what's the process like from there? Well, then they do some more testing and and in order in order to shore up the benefit ees to to to just you know, to know whether reliable, whether or not you are a complete match

or the most match that you can possibly be. Um, and uh, you know, and they poked and prodded me a couple of times. I'm a guy. I hate needles, you know. I mean, I'd be an awful junkie. I'd never get high, you know what I mean, which is not a junkie because that wouldn't also help your blood that were donating over here. Whatever it is we want to be. We want to have a clean bill of health if we're going to save other people's lives, right, that's another thing as well. It's another thing as well.

But uh, you know, so I'm glad that I absolutely not a friend of needles. But uh but no, so so I went through it took it was a little maybe six weeks or something like that, and uh and and they were like, you know, you're matching up completely. Man, you're the guy, You're you're the dude. So do you want to go through with it? Because even then you still then have the option. Yes, you have the option up until the very end said it can't. You don't.

Don't sign a piece of pay. I'm not signing my blood pay, you know, really, I mean, you know, but it's the thing to do, you know, Like I said, if you really should not bet, I think you know it does it doesn't bode well for you. Um but then you know, and and and another thing I want to point out is the d k m S is very very big on making sure that it presents it presents no hardship to the donors. Now, like you know, unfortunately, when I was with the Daily News, if I needed

a day off, I got a day off. I got paid for it. But there, you know, there could be exactly, could be a laborer or something like that. You know, you know lots of lots of great hour professionals, you know, professions that don't necessarily have that the same type of thing. D KMS has got um pools of money that they will make up for anyone because they do. It's like jury duty they'll pay you for if you don't know, no, no, they d KMS will pay you your full freight for

the day. Give even better than jury duty. You save a life. You get compensated. I mean, that's much better than having to sit there at the courthouse. They'll compensate to you for transport to you need if if need be. I mean, I'll tell you the day, the day of my of my donation. You know when when they hooked me up to the machine and cycled my blood through uh this machine, it did about five times actually, um yeah.

I I had mentioned in one of the articles I wrote for the Daily News, which you can read at www. N y Daily News dot com. I here it is. I'm not there anymore, but you can still you look up my name. You I hear the internet is forever. It's absolutely unfortunately for something. You type in my name and you will see the the my accounts um and uh again you know it cycled is the blood through.

It reminded me of Keith Richards, you know that, the rumors of Keith Richards going to Switzerland to get you know, because blood cycling. You know, it's like it's like Switzerland, but athletes go out there. Now, Kobe Bryant went to Germany for blood spinning. A bunch of Switzerland does three things. It's like it's like chalk, we make chocolate clocks. Don't forget about Ikea furniture either. So here we are. We're here on the fantasy Freestyle. Good good catch, good catch.

So we're here on the fantasy Freestyle. This is Anthony Connors giving his story about how he was in fact a match with d K M. Mess. He's telling you how easy it is. And now it feels this is not the fantasy sports world. This is in real life. Anthony was able to help someone out struggling with this horrible, horrible disease. Anthony, when we got a couple more minutes left, so I've abatly talked a little baseball. Sounds good to me.

Let's talk a little bit baseball because we were talking about it off show, and it sounds like you are a big time New York baseball fans, specifically the Yankees. So I gotta ask you. I gotta ask you with our time. I got two things I want to talk about the Yankees. The first is we talked about Labor Day, right, and but the thing that I loved is you go around the horn. Now for the Yankees, we we're talking home grown less than twenty eight year old talent right

more lesson on he falls judges like twenty six. He's one of the oldest of the lot. Between Sanchez, Bird, Torres and who who will not have even Gardner home grown Savy home grown pants is grown? Is this a new is this a new cycle of kind of the what was the core for in the nineties? Could you see these guys having a long run? Absolutely as far as as far that that description, absolutely that without a doubt.

I mean between Andrew Hard Torres, Uh Birds, Sanchez, yes, Bird and um and um D d Gregorious look at that infield and look at it infield and Sanchez, But San Sanche Sanchez. Sanchez is a bat. I like his bat is a passport. Is he's reverted to form everything he was, you know when he started off the season, so after season he was he was, he was blocked, he was the balls weren't getting by him, and then it's blocking the balls, framing pitches. He's good. The pop

time is great, but it is the defensive liability. Other thing I want to ask you about Anthony Um when we come is you know, we did, however, make the splash, making the move for Giancarlo Giancarlo Stanton, and I mean going into it like yesterday, notwithstanding dude was hitting one five, dude had thirty two strikeouts in eighty one plate appearances. That's about strikeout rate that is unsustainable. So I ask you,

is this something like what is the line? I know he went like four four yesterday, raised his average like thirty points, But at what point that he had that he had that bomb absolutely on the hanging curveball. But at what point do you start to get concerned? Do

you care? Do you want your line up to be full of these kind of like three true outcomes guys that only strike out or hit home runs and and because I don't know how that translates in the postseason when you're facing Verlander and Kichel and Cole, when you're facing Scherzer and Straussburg. Is that the way you want to compose your offense all or nothing? Like Earl Weavers the manager here, You're right, it absolutely does not, because

in the postseason there it's gonna go home. You know, right now we've got a lot, we got a lot of time exactly word. Yet right it hasn't even warmed up. The ball is not even carrying just yet stands you know, California, Florida guy. Maybe he's he's not ready for the cold. Let's say you know another thing and I'll tell you another thing about Stanton. You know this, Stanton Stanton was the National Week MVP last year home runs, but his average home he's he's he's never hit anywhere near fifty

nine before. I mean, he came out and he came out in two thousand and twenty two home runs, which which is amazing. You know, ass had a couple of freak injuries, but but he has never really gone above like the low thirty and home runs. You know that that he has the biggest contract in baseball. He's kind of surprised. Do you think the bandbox that is Yankee statum? I told you right now, I think I think I

think that that right field. You see them all of a sudden going opposite field right If I asked you right now, Judge and Stanton and Sanche combined, if I put the over under at home runs, which would bet? I take the over? You take the over? I take t over. I teke t you over. You don't why it because because you know this is probably what this is probably what craigy would do, and I think I'm in Craig's power. Yeah, partner and friends, Absolutely, we'll check

this out. We gotta hit a break. This guy over here, Anthony Connors thinks that we have a new murderer's role on our hands. He's taken the over on a hundred and twenty home runs. Thanks, thanks for spending a little bit time here on the Fantasy freeting. Thank you very much. Before we go, can I just well, we are, we got to the break. We got uh, we got thirty seconds?

What do you got? I just want to thank the mighty Quinn at New York Daily News for putting in today's uh appearance, and I want to make sure that everybody goes to wwwwww d cams dot org slash fantasy Absolutely. Welcome back everybody to the Fantasy Freestyle right here in the Fantasies Works Network again, big shout out and thanks to Anthony Connors who joined us. This is a guy who submitted it. D k MS has really helped someone already with the fight against blood cancer. I've told you for months now, Guys,

swap your cheeks, send it in. Go to d k ms dot org, slash fantasy A big, big shout out to Anthony Connors holding me down for the last segment. Here's what we're gonna do. Okay. You know, time flies when you're having fun. Okay, So I gotta shout out my stats over beat Cipher. I gotta help you win a little bit of cash this week. So much to do. We're gonna bring in Danny Otto to talk a little bit more about our rapping athlete. We got a lot to do, all right, So first things first, what I

wanna do? Danny? Are you with me? Can we bring in my man Danny Auto for popping off fame here on the Fantasy Sports Network. Danny with me? Man? What's up? Man? So first of all, the thing I gotta say is, you know, I usually like to shout out the stats over beat Cipher. Some of the questions I get on Twitter over the week and stuff like that. I gotta tell you, Danny, I got a question from a guy on Twitter named Tacos Crunch, and Tacos Crunches question for

me was, what's up with you? And what's up with your show? Danny Otto went popping off? So why don't you let everybody know? Right here in the stats over beat cipher when can we hear popping off? We can hear all of us can here because I'll enjoy it too. I'll listen Wednesday nights nine to ten pm, nice right

here on the Fantasy Sports Network. Exactly, amazing, amazing. I also wanted to bring you in because a couple of weeks ago we talked about Meek Mills visitor log in jail and now you know Robert Kraft was coming to see him, owner of the Sixers. We're coming to see him. Well, sound the alarm. Meek Mill is out everybody. Meek Mill is out of prison. He's been released and apparently he's gonna be in Philadelphia for Game five of the Sixers versus the Heat to inspire the process? Shall we say?

I think this? You know ties a night neat Little Bow on this Meek Mill story. He is free and he will be in Philly tonight. All right. Here's what I really want to get in too, though. Okay, because I didn't have a chance to tell you how to make some money in the NFL draft, Okay, and I gotta tell you there are prop bets out there. The House in uh United Kingdom, William Hill, they have put out a ton of prop bets, and I think it is very interesting. Okay, you can bet there's a lot

of over unders. Okay, They'll be like the over under on how many Alabama players will get drafted in the first round or in the first three rounds, how many LSU players, how many Ohio State players, how many Georgia players. So if you have an aligned on one of these schools and know that talent very well, I think you can make some money. They also have questions or propositions up about like one player versus another player, like who will get drafted first? Um Sam Donald or Josh Rosen,

who will get drafted first? You know, Courtland Sutton out of SMU or like Calvin Ridley out of Alabama. Right, and you could do those like heads up kind of prop bets, and I think there's some interesting ones there but I gotta tell you right now, you can bet on the number of quarterbacks that are going to get drafted in the first round. And right now, I see the overunder right now at four and a half. I'm

telling you, right now, take the over. Lamar Jackson will get drafted in the first round, Josh Allen, Baker, Mayfield, Sam Donald, Josh Rosen, and Lamar Jackson. The over under right now, William Hill is four and a half quarterbacks go in the first round. I am telling you right now, this is a lock, your boys. He's the smitten satisticition is telling you there will be five, if not more. Okay,

And here's what will happen. Also, if it gets to be the end of the night and these guys Lamar Jackson, Mason Rudolph, whatever is still there and a team wants him, they will make a trade to go up to like number thirty, thirty one or thirty two overall and to get them right there before the day happens. And you go to Friday and everybody then resets their board. Okay, I'm telling you right now over on the four and

a half number of quarterbacks that will be selected. I've been telling you for weeks that I like Lamar Jackson, that I think he will be able to be in the NFL as a quarterback, not a wide receiver. This line is based off the fact that a lot of people pooh pooh Lamar Jackson. You can get ahead of the game and take the over on Lamar Jackson and the number of quarterbacks taken in the first round over four and a half. They also have the number of running backs that will be taken in the first round.

I just gave you my profile of Barkley, of chub of Michelle, of Geiss, of Ronald Jones, of Penny and others. Right, there is quality running back talent here. And here's the other thing. The NFL is shift. Remember about five years ago, it was like, we should never waste that draft capital and take a running back. There are a diamond dozen,

we don't need to invest that much in them. Then came Todd Gurley and Ezekiel Elliott and Leonard Fournette, and they saw the change that teams who go ahead and get that stud running back what it really means for them on their team moving forward. Right, the over under on running backs is one and a half. Danny, I'm telling you right now. I know that you might not be with us on Thursday watching the draft. Go right now, wherever you get your action and put in the bet.

There will be over one and a half running backs taken, there will be over four and a half quarterbacks taken. And then Danny, do me a favorite. Just give me like ten percent of your winnings. It'll be all good. Can we do that? I know you can. You're like debating it right now. You're thinking, like as that, Okay, I'm not sure. The Georgia there's how many Georgia people will get taken. And you got both running backs and you got um Roquan Smith the linebacker as well. So

I like that bet as well. The Georgia Bulldogs that will go in the first two rounds, I like that. And speaking of these Georgia Bulldogs, there is a heads up battle um Nick Chubb or Sony Michelle. I think this is very interesting. I told you I like Nick Chubb, but I think the NFL might like Sony Michelle. But here's the last part. There is now new medical flags on Sony Michelle. There's a lot of teams out there that say that his medical didn't come back clean. And

he may be falling. That's the kind of information you need to potentially go ahead and pick Nick Chubb to be drafted ahead of Sony Michelle. Right now, Nick Chubb in this prop is minus one, Sony Michelle is plus one ten. I think that is very interesting. And the NFL is trending towards the PPR back that is Sony Michelle. But his medical issues may be an issue. But the lock solid pick right now over four and a half

quarterbacks over one and a half running backs. I'll be right here on the Fantasy Sports Network on Thursday covering the draft and telling you when I just made that cash. Let's keep it moving here on the Fantasy Freestyle. One thing I want to tell you guys before we get into our rapping athletes of the day. The one thing I want to tell you guys is I told you

about UNBC Baltimore, Maryland County, right and the Retrievers. How they went ahead and they beat Virginia in the first round, the sixteen over the one for the first time time ever. Blah blah blah. Well you know the Retrievers are at it again. I don't know men's lacrosse, the UMBC Retrievers did it again. They beat Albany. They beat Albany by the way, the Albany Great Danes. Yeah, you know, I

had to bring them up right. They beat Albany, who was number one in the country for like two months, and it was the Umbc Retrievers, who were two and seven at the time, took them out. Their goalie Tommy Linger, made seventeen saves, including seven in the fourth period um to help them with that wind. So these retrievers of Umbc are doing big things regardless of their underdogs status. So I wanted to shout them out real quick. All right, Danny,

here's what we're doing. We're gonna get into our rapping athletes. We are all NFL draft today. All the time. I have been talking about these Georgia running backs for a lot of the episode previewing my running Backs, giving you some of the prop bets. Well, are rapping athlete today is Georgia running back Sony Michelle. Georgia running back Sony Michelle. He goes by a k a fly guy, two stacks.

He has this song called the Georgia Anthem featuring rich Homie Kwan, and I gotta tell you something Danny last week, I was um, I was impressed, right, I was impressed by Julian Turner doing the like mitosis and the Cellular Reproduction remix. This guy now, Sony Michelle. He's talking about straight football, kind of like our guys the trap game.

Maestro's weaving in some football. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna listen to uh the Georgia Anthem featuring rich Homie Kwan, and then we'll break it down a little bit. This is Sony Michelle, a k A fly guy to stacks, who I project to be an early second round pick on Thursday. I guess that would be Friday. If it's an early second round pick. Hey, Danny Otto down there in the fantasy pit of misery, let's run it back. This is Sony Michelle, Georgia Anthem featuring rich

Homie Kwan. Let's hear a little bit of it. God, coach pass every game on the road, but sound for they can't come. Coach line back. I got it own luck running here, get your smash safety so hard made the flag on the bad gotta p s he caught it with one hand. Back we scot again. I let gonna leave that jumped up. My fan had my old land. They make it play now, holding down on the bad game, running back like to turn it up, quarterback the truth for the bad game. In terms of last name in

the SEC. We and all that come in and left about. You know, we know, hold game. We so hard, We prayed hard, we played hard. We the fan. Let's win it out. Let get the ring be number one in the BCN. Yeah, we're going for we ball game game were going for. Okay, So that's a little Sony Michelle, a k fly guy, two stacks shouting out this Georgia teammates talking a little bit about football and how they're all the best. What do you think, Danny, I didn't

hate it, Actually I didn't hate it. Ringing endorsement from the leader of pop it off. I I liked it. I could follow it along. Yeah, it was more upbeat, right, Yeah, it was all right, It was all right right. What I will say we were going with somewhat of a theme of of kind of summary feeling like getting ready for warmer weathers that I could feel warmer weather with this. Oh really you smell the barbecue a little bit? Yeah? Nice? Okay, So Sonny Michelle fits in kind of in the upper echelon.

Maybe you know, better than the fifty percentile um, better than our boy Chris ntram Um and some others and some others. Better than a Lonzo Ball. Not the level of Martin Bagley, not the level of some other guys that we have seen so far. But that is the draft edition of statso beats right here, the rapping athlete. Big shout out, Sony Michelle. Um, Danny, we got a few minutes left. Um, I got a new story. I

got a story for you. Do you remember Danny when it was Valentine's Day and I told you about Giannice Cumpo and his girlfriend and the gift that he got. I do remember you remember the bell that he got? Okay, well good, I'm glad you do. Uh. Jonas is in the news again. As you know, Giannas Antenna Coompo and the Milwaukee Bucks. They are up against the Boston Celtics in their first round series and that's kind of been an interesting series. Um, Giannis in the Bucks. They won

Game four over the weekend. Okay, and check this out. If you're Johonnas, Attenda, Cumpo, Danny and you're in Milwaukee. You would think that people know who you are, right yeah. Yeah. And you would think that after you lead your team to a big playoff victory and you're roaming around town with your girlfriend, um, the lovely Mariah Um, that you'd be able to uh sit down and have a fine meal,

wouldn't you. Yeah, well that's not the case, Danny. Unfortunately, Um Jihannas and his girlfriend Maria they went to bell Air Cantina in Milwaukee after their tremendous game for victory and and check this out, they wouldn't sit him. They told him, sorry, Giannice, sorry Greek freak, we don't have room for you. Then they realized the kind of pr nightmare that it was, and they put an apology on Facebook for not serving Giannice. Check this out. This is

bell Air Cantina and Milwaukee quote. We are very sorry. We weren't able to sit Gihannas in a timely manner. The Milwaukee Bucks big win thanks to his tipping and the team's great play combined with today's spring weather. I mean, so many people turned out, people turned out and droves to celebrate, and we had quite a weight and could not accommodate Giannice. We are honored he came in for a celebratory meal, and we wish we could have accommodated

him right away. We will welcome him back Thursday after another Bucks win and will hold an open table. That's a bad look on Danny. I think that's a bad look. I don't care what your weight is, I don't care what the line is. Giannice comes in. You got a table for the man, right. I think if if any fans, they would be like, he can cut me. Absolutely, I just okay, right, I get a picture with it, and it's all good. Right. I'll wait another ten fifteen minutes

for a table. Johnnie can jump me as long as I get a little shout out or something. Absolutely, I agree. Check this out though the restaurant took it a step further because they knew that it was a bad look for them. Okay, so they are also if indeed Milwaukee wins Game six, which I believe it will be Thursday this week, Um, they're going to give a free taco for all fans in the city. They're just gonna give out free tacos to try to make up for it. What do you think good pr move to try to

make it back a little bit. I guess you know, I mean, I don't know. You think it. You don't think it's h you don't think it was good enough. Well, nobody's just gonna come in for one taco, so so then it's a businesses and come in for one. Then we'll upsell you, you know a little bit. I think it's good. I think it's a good idea. I think it's a good idea. What I will say the last

piece I'll say about this story real quick, Danny. When I saw this story original and I saw the girlfriend, and I remembered the girlfriend from Valentine's Day, right, so I um and if you don't know what we're talking about, a it's messed up that you're not part of the stats over beat cipher and don't know and not in the chat room and talking talking about it with my man strong style of Lance Davis and Jilly Dilley. Jilly Dilley, by the way, what you know stable genius and vocal minority,

thank you. Um So I checked and it's the same girl, at least the same woman. I thought that was really important because we're two months later, Danny, which two months later it could have been a different woman, but it is in fact the same girlfriend. Her name is Mariah, I do believe. So at least that's good, you know, because remember like Lou Williams who had the two girlfriends and then broke up a point. So at least it's you know, a stable relationship and we like seeing that.

But I was a little bit, um, I was a little bit uh, you know, turned off by Bell and Cantina because they didn't have room for giannice. You know, yeah, absolutely absolutely. Um. So there we are. We're on the Fantasy Freestyle. When we got a couple of minutes left, checking on the pole real quick. I told you how much of the draft will you watch this week? Right now? You are saying just round one you're just gonna watch on Thursday, Say you're gonna watch all weekend long. I'm

telling you it's gonna be nice out this weekend. Alright, guys and gals, you need to just watch a little bit and uh, don't get it too crazed. Uh and then you know, get the post get the post taste analysis afterwards, and let me tell you something here on Thursday night, it is gonna be me. The Fantasy executive Corey Parkson Mike blew It. It's gonna be my man

Emory Hunt. And if you need to know about college profiles of people coming into the NFL, there is absolutely nobody better in this business then my man Emory Hunt. He's gonna be giving us the thumbnail on everybody who comes in and you can check that out on the Fantasy Sports Network. Next week I will be here on the Fantasy Freestyle to break it down, do my analysis.

Who are the winners, the losers, the diamonds, the gases, Who's in a good situation because of the draft, who may have just lost their job because of the draft. We will break that all down as well, and then next week we will be running up to uh, the best two minutes in all of sports, And if you know what I'm talking about, the best two minutes in all of sports is the first Saturday in May, the Kentucky Derby. My man Gabe Mornsy here on the network

and his horse, Conflict Diamond. You know he's not in the Kentucky Derby, but we always want to shout out Gabe in the Conflict Diamond horse. But what's interesting one horse that looks like he will be there, although he maybe had a little bit of an injury set back. Today is Gronkowski. Gronkowski is the number one European horse qualified. He's going off right now at thirty five or forty two one for the Kentucky Derby. Gronkowski is the horse.

And by the way, yeah, Rob Gronkowski just purchased a part of the ownership of Gronkowski. The horses about six ft five inches tall, Gronkowski about six ft five inches to all. The funny part is he wants to learn how to ride the horse. I don't know if that's gonna work. We'll check in on Gronk all the horses for the Kentucky Derby and the NFL Draft. We'll do the autopsy next week. Thanks to my man Anthony Connors and the d k M S crew, We're talking NFL

running backs for the draft. I'm telling you make some money on those props. Thats your boy. Day Martinez spees the spitting Statistician, Stable Genius and vocal Minority And this has been another episode of the Fantasy Freestyle. I'll see y'all later this week. I'm out Peach
