MNF Takeaways + WR Diamonds/Fugazis

on the award winning Fantasy Sports Network. I'm your host, as you know, and we're about to get it in. We are halfway through the preseason and the buzz is palpable. We got a good show for you today. I'm gonna you know, I went on a little bit of a vacation last week. I got some news and notes to catch you up on. I want to talk about a couple of things I saw on that Monday night football game last s night with the Colts and the Ravens as well. I have some evolving opinions on that one.

And then, as you know, with the stats Overbeat Cipher, I have been going position by position giving you my diamonds in the rough of my fantasy fool gaze. He's the ones you need to forget about. We've done running backs, We've done tight ends, we've done quarterbacks. We're gonna go to the past catching wide receivers in this episode of the Fantasy Freestyle. As always, we got my people down there in the chat room right there on YouTube. You

Cipher always comes through best in the business. My man right now already, Uh Saraje Patella is like, Yo, when are you gonna be on? When's the next freestyle? It is on and popping. for you as well. The question I want to know today is what do you think is the best wide receiver handem or combo in the NFL? Right now, okay, I gave you some options. One was up there in Minnesota. Is it digs and feeling? You know, I love them for their nicknames. I got a feeling. Can you digs it. We got in Cleveland. Now all of a sudden, Jervis Landry and Josh Gordon are there. Could that be potentially the best combo? And then there's a couple of herds.

You know, I talked about the fantasy herds all the time out there in like Detroit. Maybe the Rams a very interesting herd. And also you know Philly some other ones. A lot of people are hitting me up saying, maybe it's Pittsburgh with Juju. I'm a little bit down on Juju this year, so I didn't have him included. A lot of people are voting on that. You can get on down at spitting speeds. Is the place to go for that and keep it locked in the chat room.

You know, I'll be later on answering the questions with the status over Beat Cipher. Big shout out to all the big time people that are always out there, strong style Ninja in the place to be, um Lanz Davis already, Yeah, you're right, sixteen days until kickoff? Can you sense my excitement or maybe that's just normally Let's just get it into it right now since I spoke to you guys last all right, the biggest thing listen, to Washington football

team has signed Adrian Peterson. Don't worry about this, Okay, That's what it comes down to. I want no part of this, I think, to be honest, it hurts everybody. Now. All that is is another name to add into the committee, right, because you're still gonna have a little bit of fat Rob Kelly, He's still gonna have a little bit of some J. P. Ryan. You still have Chris Thompson there as the PPR back. This just makes this a situation to avoid, even maybe more than New England. Right, this

may be like a four person committee. So I want no part of that. If you tell me which one, you know, maybe Chris Thompson in PPR settings, but outside that, I want no part of these guys. These are all food gays. These to me a lot of things going on since I was gone, your strong style. He went on his uh honeymoon. Recently. I was over there a little bit of family wedding action. It was a lot of fun. I was on the West coast. You know,

do I look a little bit sun kissed? Let me know out there on the status would beat site for the chat room? Uh Rashad Penny broke his finger he is now trying. He might be back right around week one. They're saying like three to four weeks. That's that's what is the timing is for the beginning of the season. All right. I actually like this because, as you know, I've been a Penny fan. I think he's gonna be one of these backs. And this is what I say

all the time, especially with rookie running backs. Okay, you draft these guys for later on in the season, they ascend as the time goes on. We saw that with a lot of backs last year as well. Some of them just hit the ground and like you know, are these births like a Kareem Hunter or what have you. Some of them trend over time. And I think that's what we're gonna see now in Seattle with Shot Penny. That's what I think we're gonna see in Tampa Bay

with Ronald Jones as well. Okay, these teams did not draft these guys in the first round of the NFL Draft in April just for them to be backups. They have designs on these young backs being parts of the offense. It may not be in September, but they might be the lead dog for their teams in December during the fantasy playoffs, and that is what you want. And now with guys like Penny Michelle Um having injuries the preseason, I like that even better because that means I might

be able to get them at value. I might be able to get a shot Penny six maybe even seventh round that ultimately I think will represent some value. I may be able to get Ronald Jones sixth round, seventh round that ultimately represents value to me. So I like these guys. Okay, But Penny wasn't the only one who broke his finger. DeVante Parker broke his finger down there

in Miami. And let me tell you something. I said this when we were doing our a f C East Um, you know previews, I said, I thought the Dolphins were gonna be a dumpster five this year. And nothing that I've seen this preseason has, you know, changed my opinion on that at all. All Right, you know, Devantay Parker, maybe the broken fingers why he can't catch the ball. Kenny still is a little bit banged up. He's trending

to be their number one pass catcher. Mike Gasicki hasn't really shown much, you know, Gore and Drake are gonna split kind of time, rendering almost maybe them both useless. I don't believe in Tannehill, all right, So maybe I like Kenny Stills that value now for Miami. But DeVante Parker I'm not gonna have many shares of him. Listen, the Philadelphia quarterback situation is interesting. If you haven't heard,

you know you listen to uh Fantasy Freestyle. And by the way, we got news Fantasy Freestyle now with a new football schedule here on the Fantasy Sports Network. It looks like Folds is going to play. He had a shoulder got banged up in that last preseason game with New England. Looks like he's gonna play, though, um this week in the in the dress rehearsal, they are

not going to rush Carson Wentz. I actually don't think Carson Wentz is gonna be on in her for week one in that Thursday night football game against Atlanta, all right, And I think it's okay. You do not risk the face of your franchise for the next you know, ten twelve years because you want to rush him by a week or two. Alright, So I think it's good that Folds is ready to go. Interesting injury. Since I spoke to you guys last week, you're on Fantasy Freestyle Rex Burkhead.

They say he is dealing with a quote unquote slight tear in his knee. Okay, And this is interesting now because, like I said, Sony Michelle also had a knee injury.

What does this mean. It's hard to figure out the New England running back room anyway, right, But now with these injuries complicating things, maybe James White is a nice little DFS play early in the season if Burkehead and Michelle are struggling through injuries and you got Edelman out right, So maybe you need other backfield options pass catching options for Tom Brady. That's what James Wright white that role for the Patriots, So keep an eye out on that.

Another big story, you know, we'd like to talk about Hard Knocks. We'll talk about that maybe a little bit later on the show. Um, if you have your Hard Knocks thoughts, hit me up on the status over beat Cipher. You know, everything from David Dean Joku is on you to tailor uh Tyrod Taylor showing leadership in last week's episode. We're gonna break that down. A lot of people are thinking that the Cleveland wide receivers Landry and Gordon, they're getting about sixteen percent of the vote right now. But Gordon is back. He's not really practicing as of yet, but that'll be happening soon. I think this is all but put an end to the Dez Bryant us, you know, although we'll see that on Hard Knocks as well. This week, um Ajan mccaren

there's an issue with him. At first they thought maybe uh fractures collar bone. Apparently that is now not the case. Um now it's a shoulder thing. But now the builds are backtracking even more, saying he's just day to day. He might be able to be out there, okay, but regardless, I do think it clears the path for Josh Allen to be under center for the Buffalo Bills in you know what is really week one of the season, in about two two and a half weeks, all right, I

think Josh Allen will be under center the Bills. I think Sam Donald will be under center for the Jets. Okay, and uh, that's about it at this point. Rosen I don't think will be there because Sam Bradford is still there, although since there is football still yet to be played, maybe Bradford can't get hurt. You never know, right, and then Baker Mayfield. I just don't think it's gonna happen.

I think Tyrod Taylor is the leader and starting quarterback of that team, and I actually think they're gonna be good. If you've been listening to Speeds over the summer, you know that I'm a little bit high on the Browns. I think it's like four twenty with me and the Browns. I think they have the potential finish in second place in that division. Although I am coming around on some of these other a f C North teams. I gotta

tell you. You You know asked me about a month ago and I was talking with you know, Scott angel I was talking back in the day with Jake Seely as well about this. I thought it was gonna unravel for the Evens and for the Bengals. I said that they were both teams where the quarterback is, you know, on the downside of his career, with coach head coaches there that have, you know, maybe we're out there welcome. But both Cincinnati and Baltimore have showed me something in the preseason.

And you never know about the preseason, right but both of those teams have looked good. The offensive line in Cincinnati has looked a little bit better. I'm real high now on Joe Mixing. I'm four twenties status on Joe Mixon right now. I'm so high. I want to get on Joe Mixon um. And the same thing with the Baltimore Ravens. They look good. They look good yesterday. Okay, Joe Flacco looked good. I was I was saying Joe Flacco was gonna defecate the mattress. He might be looting

on my eye. It's not about Lamar. It's with now Joe Flacco and listen, Michael Crabtree, Willie Snead. This is a decent, complimentary wide receivers. The schedule plays out for Alex Collins also has a back end r B two. I was down on Alex Collins. I'm coming around on him. So I'm coming around on a lot of these elements of those teams since he and Baltimore. But I digress um. Also big thing to note that you gotta keep an

eye on. You know, one of the herds that I have up here in the poll, one of the fantasy herds at wide receivers that I have is, uh, the Detroit Lions and Jim Bob Cooder and the Detroit Lions. Right, And we are getting we are getting were this week that in two wide receiver sets that it's actually Kenny Golladay that's lining up with Marvin Jones and Golden Tate is not lining up as much in two wide receiver sets. That is very interesting to me. Okay, maybe Gala Day

takes a step forward in two wide outsets. I bumped getting Gala Day up in this part of the herd. Let's say, if Tate is going to exclusively be in the slot when they go to three wide, that is a severe compliment. Excuse me, hit too. I think Tate's value. We'll see if this is actually the case. Um. Patricia wasn't trying to make too much about it, Jim Bob Couder wasn't trying to make too much about it. But this is something to keep your eye on. Okay, when

it comes to the herd out there in Detroit. The other thing I want to say, we'll check it on the pole in a hot second. The other thing I want to say is listen at this point, now, these people that are holding out Earl Thomas, Uh, Aaron Donald uh Khalil Mack, these guys are now getting fined. Okay, we two of the preseason is in the books, so you can find eight hundreds some thousand dollars from missing

the preseason games. So these guys are now one point six million and finds already, and they're still holding out, okay, Earl Thomas, I think it's gonna do it for the duration. I think he's gonna talk about either extend me or trade me. I think that is going to happen. I think he's gonna hold out. I don't think he's worried about these game checks. Aaron Donald, Aaron Donald, I think

is going to uh get a deal. We're now starting to hear that, you know, Aaron Donald and the Rams are talking a little bit more because listen the Rams giving out money to everybody. Offensive. Lineman got a four year extension also this week, you know, Hastram. So I think they're gonna get um a deal done. What I

think is interesting is Khalil Mack. You're not hearing much about Khalil Mac at all, okay, and that makes me think that with Khalil Mack, there may be some actual negotiations going on, like right now, okay, and so much so. There's a lot of buzz around this over there at UM. I think we're in my booky dot a G you know what it is, and to the promo code f F F T S Y remember about their props builder tool. Okay.

We love our folks over at my Bookie dot a g. I think they have odds up on check this out where will Khalil MacB after the trade deadline and quite frankly, the Raiders his current team is not the favorite. I think this is really interesting. The Packers are the favorite at plus two hundred, the Bears are the second choice at plus three hundred, then the Raiders a plus three fifty follow in the same as the Jets. So the question is do you think maybe they would trade him

to Green Bay? Do you think they maybe would trade and cargo or the Jets. Here's the thing. The Jets are interesting to me because they have Cheddy Bridgewater as this interesting trade piece right and there was just news today that the Jets called the Jaguars about Dante Fowler a pass rusher, So if there's an interest for Teddy Bridgewater, maybe they can get this pass rusher and that's there, you know, at the same odds as the Raiders right now. Packers, however,

are very interesting to me. I think the Packers, with Mohammed Wilkerson on that line, they drafted heavy in the secondary. Josh Jackson, I believe, sure up that offensive line mostly via health guys like Bok tri or back this year. Of course, returning Aaron Rodgers, they were to get some pass rush because you know Matthews getting on in age.

They flirted with Peppers for a while. If they were to get this kind of pass rush, this would tip the scales from me in the a F in the NFC North you as you know, I have been you know, I have been riding with the Vikings in that division. But I gotta tell you something, Okay, I gotta tell you something. I don't think much about what I see in preseason, but when I see injuries to two or three starting offensive lineman, that piques my curiosity. And that's

what you're seeing up there in Minnesota. Okay, there are two or three starting offensive linemen who have been banged up, and that could be a problem. It's not like the Vikings had a great offensive line to begin with, Okay, so that is a problem for me. And if if, if the Packers go ahead and get a Killio Mac, I think that they've made some interesting under the radar additions in this offseason on the defensive side, which could

I was real high on Lamar Jackson and re draft leagues, but he's just not ready. The completion percentage is just not there. All right. If you're in a dynasty and he you can wait to groom him, okay, or you can wait on him. I still believe the floor is ridiculously high, okay. Um,

but it's not gonna happen this year. Okay. This year, he's gonna be a gadget player. This year. It's gonna be like packages for him. And I don't know that he's worth the draft pick. There's gonna be that one or two weeks where he pops off on DFS, But I don't know that this is the way you want to go, all right. And the other part of this is Joe Flacco continues to tell everybody, oh yeah, hold my beer, watch this. You know what I mean. He's

actually everyone's saying he's having such a great camp. I like the way that they go down the field at the very beginning of the game, first play play actions, shots to smoke Brown. I like that he has different kinds of wide receivers. This is how I'm kind of evolving on them. I mentioned about Baltimore and Cincinnati, but Baltimore, I think they have different kinds of receivers. You got Michael Crabtree in the intermediate game, okay, and he's good

at that. He's been good at that for years. Okay. He wasn't just like stood kind of X wide out that everyone knew that he was not gonna be a Michael Thomas at Davante Adams and DeAndre Hopkins and you know, kind of this elite town talent. But Michael Crabtree is an above average intermediate wide receiver. He he was better than a Marie Cooper for the last two years in Oakland. John Brown is that proverbial take the top off the defense. Last year, Remember how I talked about the fantasy. Heard

what I add to this? And I say this in the morning to the King Scott Angle. Don't forget about it. Get the promo package. Okay, get the promo package. Uh, enter the promo code. You can into the promo code speeds at checkout. Um. But John Brown plays this X Y Z affair with him. He he's the speed guy to take the top off the defense. Guy. Michael Crabtree is the intermediate guy. Will he sneeze legitimate? You know, move the chains inside guy? They have what they need.

I like what Joe Flacco now has, all right, so that I could be evolving on the Baltimore offense, I gotta tell you. And this is this is Joe Flacco. This is Joe Flacco. So maybe he's in your two quarterback leagues. Maybe he's a super flex guy down there. If they're gonna throw the ball a little bit more and they're gonna try to stretch it out, I buy that now. On the other side, I've been intrigued by

the cults. I've been intrigued by the Colts because I thought Andrew Luck was gonna get back and represent value. I'd be intrigued by guys like Naheim Hinds, a potential PPR beast that I thought could take place in redraft leagues even but it's not. It's not coming to fruition. It's not coming to fruition with the Colts. Okay, not hem Heims fumbled for the fourth time in preseason. Okay, I gotta pump the brakes on him. If the coaching is that is not going to have him out there,

then that's a problem. Okay, then that's a problem. So that's already a problem. Right. Andrew Luck also did not go downfield. I don't know if he was t Y Hilton because he wasn't on the field, or if just Andrew Luck doesn't want to stretch out the shoulder just yet. But if you notice, none of those balls went over like fifty yards in the air. He was hitting Jack Doyle over the middle, but he didn't really stretch it out. So I'm still looking forward to see about that in

their third preseason game. All right, Not only do we have people in the chat room stats will beat Cipher but we got some of the people that used to be calling the show. Remember the number to call us is eight four four eight four three six eight seven nine. If you can chat room might be easiest because I can see you over there right now. We're pulling double duty down there in the Pit of Misery. But we got a question from Jacob in Vegas. He's got a

question about keepers. Should he keep Derrick Henry, Robert Woods or Carson Wentz and a half point PPR league, I wonder if this is a key It says a keeper question, so a lot of the keepers usually it correlate to around as well. And I don't have that information, So Jacob, I don't have that information. So that's pretty tough, right, Um. But I like Listen. I kind of like Robert Woods. I like Robert Woods is the lead dog of that

herd in in Los Angeles. I think Brandon Cooks is the one that gives you the least amount of value. I like Woods, and I like Cup in Los Angeles. They already have the chemistry with Jared Goff, So I like Woods a lot. Um. I do not like Derrick Henry. I'm more of a Deon Louis guy. Especially in PPR formats where you say it is half point PPR. I'm more of a Dean Louis guy. I don't think Derrick Henry is grabbing that job and running with it. And

then Carson Wentz listen. As you know, I think quarterback is very, very deep. But Robert Woods can be a legitimate wide receive, a great wide out three for you. Uh even maybe a back end wide receiver two for you. So I like Robert Woods of those three jake ab out there in Vegas. But what I don't know is um if they're around associated with it. I want to get one more question in that I got here right now.

Big shout out to Clayton Trey Hand of course will respond, uh your answer to the pole a little bit later on. But Landes Davis is asking about Davante Adams, um and where he'll finish. Listen. I am tremendously high on Davanta Adams. All right, So let's get into that wide receivers, diamonds and fugazes right now. Let's get into the wide receivers, diamonds and fugazes, because people in the chat room we're

talking about Davante Adams. I love Davantae Adams. And when we have these top tier guys, Okay, you know the names, the Julio's, the Beckhams of the world, the d Hops. Right, what I think about guys, and you know this, it comes down to which one of these are the biggest target hogs and which one of these are in kind of herds. I look at the potential of the number two receiver on the running backs big time out of the backfield as well, or can this guy be a

target monster? There were only four wide receivers last year that had a hundred sixty plus targets. Okay, that's what you want out of these guys. These guys are all root ridiculous athletes. These guys are all gonna go up and make great place. Julio is gonna make some great catches, Odell is gonna make some great catches. Mike Evans will make great catches. D Hop will make great catches. You want the volume. We talked about this with running backs

as well. You want the volume, and I think Davontae Adams is gonna be one of those top wide receivers that get you volume. Okay, I think the drop down to Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison and these rookies they brought in in Green Bay. I think people are forgetting about what Aaron Rodgers does for this passing game. People haven't worried about the running backs, the Joneses and the Williams in Green Bay. Okay, No, this is gonna be

Davante Adams. Okay, I love Davontae Adams. A lot of you guys in the chat room are talking about seven to ten. Okay, strong style, Ninja. I'm higher on Davanta Adams than you are. I believe Davantae Adams in Tier one is a diamond in the rough. I can see Davontae Adams finishing top five this year. I like him that high. If you're early mid second round, I'm taking Davante Adams, Okay, I might. I'm taking him over A J. Green. I'm taking him over Um. You know. I like him

and Keenan Allen around the same level. Okay, I might even take him. You know, Michael Thomas is up there, but I really love Davantae Adams. This after the big boys, right, you know. And if you're a little bit down on a guy like Julio Jones. I'm okay with that, all right. I think Atlanta is gonna try to work a lot into this, a lot of mouths, and I think they're gonna try to spread the ball a little bit more in there, hello, in there? Uh. In their second season

under Sarkasian, I think they drafted Ridley. I think they got a lot of options out there. I'm a little bit lower on Julio than others, the other guy, I'm a little bit lower on in this level, and we're talking about the top ten, right, I'm lower on Adam Feeling than most. Yeah, he's in our poll as with the best combo. But here's the deal. A lot of people have it as like feeling here and digs here. It could very well easily be flip flop. Kirk Cousins has been locked in on Stefan. Can you digs it

this preseason? Why couldn't it be locked you know, flip flopped. Why couldn't it be feeling that winds up wide receiver thirteen or fourteen and Diggs who winds up being wide receiver ten or eleven. I think that's very viable. So I'm not spending up for the feeling. I give me the more target monsters up there. Give me the Atoms, the Allen's, the thomas Is. Give me, to be quite honest, give me DeAndre Hopkins overall, Dell Beckham. I liked Hopps

number two wide receiver overall. At that level, you get a sense of who I like a little bit more than others. Okay, but you guys are hitting me up in the chat In the chat room, you're talking about Jordan Howard as well, Lanz Davis. That's a good point. Julio has not scored ten touchdowns since two thousand and twelve. And now you got ridly to work in there. I'm telling you, I like Adams, I like Keenan Allen. Okay, I like some of these guys that merely take a

step fall word. I like digs to really. I like t Y Hilton in fact as well, if you believe that you know luck and stretch it out a little bit, I like t Y Hilton as well as a standout number one. You know who else is gonna be a standout number one. So he's my diamond in the rough. A little bit lower down in the um in the tears is maybe Allan. I like Allen Robinson. I've seen Allan Robinson go everywhere from like number fifteen all the way through to like number twenty one two, and I'm

on the good side on a R fifteen. Remember, this is a guy who I've said before has made Blake Bordles and Christian Hackenburg look good. All right, So I think he's gonna be a good little ad for the NAGY system in Chicago with Mitchell Trabiskie. Right, So, I like him as a standout number one wide receiver where the number two option there's a big gap to, you know, think about it with like the guys we've said in

Minnesota and in Cleveland, even to a certain extent, in Pittsburgh. Right, A lot of people are saying that they like Pittsburgh. A lot of people are saying that they like Pittsburgh um as the best tandem. Okay, uh, the one is hit me up at Mike Fearless on Twitter saying Brown and Juju could be a force. Right, Um, A lot of people are saying Pittsburgh tandem. But I'm telling you, Juju got a lot of stuff last year, a lot

of production last year when a d was hurt. I believe the number two pass catcher for the Pittsburgh Steelers is Levy on Bell. I'm a little bit lower on Juju than some others. Okay Um, I think Juju I love. I'd love Juju as my wide out three. I don't really want Juju as my wide out too. I don't even see him as a back end wide out too.

But as we move along at this tier, I like a R fifteen, and I like Stephen Digs in this tier along with t Y Hilton if you can still get them at that level, although I think Hilton is moving up a little bit at this level. The fool gayzes I told you was Juju. I'm down on Juju. I know I'm gonna catch a little bit of heat on this. Relatively speaking, He's a fool gayze for me at why receiver two. He is a wide receiver three

for me. Especially as I mentioned, lev Bell is still there, will be the number two pass catcher for the Steelers. The other guys listened. Josh Gordon to me, Um, he's not gonna be want my wide receiver too. They'll be my wide receiver three if anything. Okay Um, I think that Tyrod has had time to build chemistry with Jarvis Landry. I think that, you know, Gordon still has not yet been cleared to practice. I think that we're thinking about Josh Gordon when he was like the absolute only option.

He was a target monster in Cleveland. But now surprisingly there are mouths to feed right between Landry kids like they like this kid Callaway. You're seeing a lot of love. People want to take this kid Callaway under their wing. Uh, Todd Haley, you saw that. We'll talk about this with hard knocks, but he wanted to uh Jovis Landry to take Callaway under his wing. You know you got the

pass catching back, Duke Johnson. You got in Joeku who might take a step forward, right, So I think he is not kind of the target mons through that he was in uh Cleveland. So listen, those are the top two. Those are kind of the early round wide receivers. Here's what we're gonna do, because we're running double duty, baby, all right, We're gonna get with the stats over beat Cipher on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We're gonna cut off the

wide receiver talk a little bit early. We're gonna you know, we did those early wide receivers will do the bottom part of the wide receivers um maybe on the Thursday show, but I do see we got another question um out there from a man, Danny Otto. I like Davantae Adams even over Michael Thomas. Let me tell

you why. If you've been listening to this, you know, Lance, you've been with this network for a while. You know how many people we've all been saying how the Saints are evolving and are running the ball more right. They're running the ball more. They're trying to take the load off of Drew Brees right, and even that means a little bit even for his number one wide receiver, Michael Thomas. Whereas this year Davanta Adams I think ascends even more.

Aaron Rodgers coming back, no more, Jordy Nelson. There's reasons for Davantae Adams to do more than he did last year, okay, And to me, there's reasons for Michael Thomas to do less than he did last year. It is very close, right, these guys are both first round, you know to me, But listen, Michael Thomas one O five last year, you know,

with five touchdowns. Davanta Adams albeit eight five far less, but remember he does it in two less games, right, so you put another if you put another two hundred on that, but he has the ten touchdowns, And Davontae Adams seems to be one of these outside guys who year to year has been consistent with touchdowns, you know, and so for that reason, I like Davontae Adams. Don't forget Davantae Adams did this last year and ten touchdowns.

He did that with um, you know Hunley as his quarterback, right, Um, he's gonna have Aaron Rodgers. I think that makes it a lot different. Okay. I think he's gonna be one of these guys who can take a step up in targets. Right. He had a hundred seventeen targets last year. I think he's gonna have more. There's reason to think he does

better this year than last year. Whereas I think the New Orleans Saints are moving in a direction where they want to run the ball a little bit more We've talked about this in terms of running and the defense upside of the ball for the New Orleans Saints. Clayton trey Han out there says, I really liked receiving corps in Green Bay, Detroit, Minnesota, and Pittsburgh, Houston and Casey as well, and that someone else said also Houston. Would Fuller Andy hop Listen, I think the Fuller thing is

a mirage. I know he was a meteoric rise right when when Watson was there. That was a small sample size. I don't know if I'm all in again with will Fuller. I can understand other people, you know, the one also says that as well. I can understand the thinking, but I'm I have a little cause for pause on Will Fuller.

I don't think he belongs, you know, in the same conversation with duos like in Cleveland, Minnesota, Denver either, to be quite honest, the Marius Thomas and Manny Sanders, remember they had Trevor Simeon and others, you know, a rag tag bunch. I think they get improved quarterback play. Don't forget about DT and Manny Sanders in this conversation as well. I don't think they're the best, but I think they're an interesting option. I am worried about that, right.

You're looking for teams that can get pressure on the quarterback, and to me, that's the Chargers with Boza and Ingram, right, and you're looking for people who can get picks, and uh even Dover Red is out for the Chargers. I like the Casey Hayward, who is PF's highest graded cornerback last year, Desmond King and some others. I love the Chargers, okay. And remember they're also they got Patty Mahomes twice. Everyone's

talking about, Oh, he's a gun slinger. He's gonna throw some interceptions, all right, cool, you know um Denver is gonna throw the ball with uh case Keenum who may regress. All right? So I like I like the Chargers de fence a lot, okay, and I also, uh, I like Minnesota, same theory. Their secondary is sick okay, Xavier Bumpy Roads

the a just wonder Terrence Newman. They drafted Mike Mike cues At of Central Florida with their first round pick, and they're gonna get pressure um on the quarterback alright. They got Sheldon Richardson in that middle to add to the Griffin and the Hunter and Hunters who are getting pressure. I like Minnesota. I like the Chargers in addition to the Rams and the Jags, who you mentioned another question out there from John Daldin Tree is asking about four

net or d hop. All right, Now here's the thing. It depends on the format. Listen, I am trying to get the bell cow back, and if you're at like nine, ten eleven something like that, I'm trying to get the bell cow back. I loved Hop and maybe if it's a PPR HI we got some people checking in status over beat Cipher Studio thirty four. I loved Hop as much as the next man. But I am doing everything possible to get these workhorse backs this year. They are so far and fewer between a few and far between.

I am trying to get if I can. I'm trying to maybe even double them up. You know, got like Joe Mixon in the second round in PPRS. I'm getting McCaffrey second round if I can, because they are you know, there's so many time shares out there, and I think that I could get these wide receivers I was telling

you about. I would rather, you know, to the question out there, I would rather get the four nets, get the uh Melvin Gordon's, get the you know who's at that level, you know, the Gordons, the Hunts, the four Nets. I'd rather the Dalvin Cooks. I'd rather get those guys at that part. Then these wide receivers. And then what I'm gonna do is later on, I'm gonna get Stefon Diggs. I'm gonna get Allen Robinson, I'm gonna get Jarvis Landry.

You know, I'm gonna get some of those guys, and I'm gonna go bang bang bang, you know, especially if I'm in PPR formats and I like some guys like that PPR format, then I'll get the Jarvis Landry's right. You know that that. I'm intrigued by that because if I can get my running backs early, I might just go ahead and do that. Another question, Oh yeah, there it was the Foro net Or Hopkins. I talked about

that one. I got another one, Joshua Wringle Am. I crazy to think Odell can get eighteen touchdowns this season. I'm sending a breakout. Here's the thing with that. You know this, Let's say the Giants, Like the Giants are not getting three touchdowns a game, Let's say they get two and a half touchdowns a game. Two times sixteen is thirty two, right, Let's say give him a little bit more. Let's say they get forty touchdowns in the season. That's two and a half a game, which I think is somewhat generous. Do you think Odell is

accounting for half of them? I think that's a little bit much. I love Odell, but I think that is a little bit much all right, listen on Tuesdays. You got hard Knocks also, right, So I want to get into it with hard Knocks. I thought there was some good stuff um in last week's episode. Two things I want to point out. One, they are brought into this kid Antonio Callaway, the rookie at of Florida, even though he didn't tell him about the stop by the cops.

You know, they just had to run him out there. They want to break this kid in. They all think he's a good kid and just need some seasoning. You saw Todd Haley go to Jervis Slandry and say take the kid under your wing, even then challenging Landry saying, hey, Laard Fitzgerald would do it. I think that's very interesting. Okay, So they like this kid. They're gonna nurture him along. He might be interesting as a flyer late round. If you think this offense can support three or in a

kind of dynasty setting, I think he's the reason. Also, they're not gonna go after DEAs. But here's what I'll tell you about I'm reinforcing. It gave me more insight. So I think that Tyrod Taylor is the leader of this team. Baker Mayfield can do whatever you want, and I know the fans are clamoring for him. But Tyrod

Taylor's the leader of this team. When they were having a bad practice and you know Hugh Jackson was all piste off, it was Tyrod Taylor who got in his coach's ear was like, you need to show them this on film. You need to show this bad habits. That's a veteran leader. Okay, Baker Mayfields off shooting underwear commercials.
