You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. You are now about to witness the strength of fantasy knowledge pre style. What's up? Welcome into the Fantasy Freestyle. Excuse me, Corey bosson the Fantasy Executive holding it down for spitting speed to day Martinez. You may get a spitting speed to parents tomorrow. If that's the case, then you probably won't see me here because it makes no sense of both

of us to be here. The young homie Chris Ventra making his way up into the program, and also he's gonna do with me today. We're gonna put Chris Ventra in charge of the Chicago Bears, see if he can rebuild that program. I wanted to see if I can find a baseball because would you being a closer and all of that stuff, Chris, I wanted you to more or less teach me how I like to do like a split finger slider, you know, a curve and stuff

like that. Because you had that that that that that pitching experience is a part of your resume and a part of your repertoire. Uh, young Mr Ventre. So I wanted to see what kind of stuff you had on the mound and make you take care that you're gonna be in charge of Chicago and you have a lot of jobs. Chris, You're gonna be in charge of Chicago Bears.

We're gonna talk some fantasy football with you too, because I want to go with some players are disappointed this year and get your opinion on the players moving forwar. How are you doing, Chris House everything? I'm good. How are you? I'm good? I'm I'm making it. It's snow. I was walking into the blizzard today. Yeah, well you come from home, so it wasn't that bad. How long is that train ride? Train ride is only like fifteen minutes. That's you know, that's nice. I came from be Hearsts visit.

I've never in my life. This is gonna be the first time I ever get a shout out to Bensonhurst. Shout out to benson Hurst started? Um what wait? What? What started in the Bensonhurst? Well, you know, I don't want to get too deep into it, but basically a lot of the the mob we were then, I thought you talking about maybe like something else started investing hurt nothing else. Yeah, okay, cool, that's where you know, very Italian neighborhood. Yeah yeah, That's why I realized that it's

like from the the old school, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, it takes me forty five minutes sometimes longer to get down here. But actually I was surprised they did a good job today with the train. So shout out to the m t A for getting it done. Shout out the empt shout out to the MT I'm giving the first time shout outs a lot tonight, the first time I'm giving a shout out to benson Hurst and the first shout of giving a shout out to the Metropolitan

Trends the authority. So there you go, right there, because you were doing here earlier when they had the cowboys in here, not not not the Dallas cowboys, but like the bull riding dudes, Markinta and stuff like that. I was here, Yeah, I was watching them through, you know, from the pit of missery over there. And yeah, those guys, you know, they got they strong. That's tough to do.

But you know, the thing yeah about it is if you come into like if you ever him in there, right, you gotta understand one thing about it is they get hurt and then they compete for prizes. If you come in last place. The prize is like dollars that doesn't even gonna sund even gonna cover your hotel on your airfare, last place out of how many people like I don't know, Chris, but I'm just saying, sometimes it's not worth making a trip if you're gonna come in last place. But especially

when you're riding bulls. You're right, I didn't think about it that way. If you're riding bulls, you do want to get a little bit more money than that. Your life on the line, a little bit that ball where your ass out, especially you get that horn in you all right, pause, Right there you go. I got you stuck off the realness. I don't have to worry about that. That's tomorrow and we come back on the other side. I'm gonna talk to Chicago being football with Chris Mentram.

rolling with me. What's up? What's good? It's your boiling, it's your busy. So shout out to the cipher Dilley, Dilly yep, Um, Prince, congratulations what you are the now the head coach and general manager of the Chicago Bears Sack. I love them Bears. I'm very happy, happy for this opportunity. Um. I'd like to give a shout out to all the people that helped me, you know, through and you know all the years I've been training to be a coach. Um, how do you train to be a coach? Chris? You

know I watched the game. I watch a lot of film. Uh you know, I work hard studying the playbooks, the rules because the NFL rules be changing every year all the time. And uh, you know what, I'm really happy to be on the Bears because the Bears one of my favorite teams. They got that old school defensive football mentality in the North. I love northern football where it's snows and stuff and it gets cold. So I'm very happy to be here. I appreciate it, and we're happy

to have you. Were happy to make this higher of Chris Venttra as the head coach of the Chicago Bears last year. Chris, this is your introductory press conference last year. Chris gonna call you Chris, Mr vent That's fine. Yeah, Chris is fine. Chris is fine. Chris. Where are you from? I am from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Chout out to benson Herston, shot out to be Um. And you know, I lived New York, born and raised all my life. I'm I'm of Italian descent, uh and high school like like like

like Vince Lumbar, like Vincelmbody, the great one. He came up with the suite. Right, this is correct. So if you know your football history, that's a good start. Well, how much Chicago Bear history do you know? Mr Ventra? I know a good amount because I know my father is a huge giant fan, obviously, and the Bears and Giants used to have a lot of battles in the eighties. The five Bars won't believable. They won, They won the ship, right,

they did. One of the greatest teams at all time. Right, I think it's maybe the greatest defense of all time. That Ravens defense in two thousand was mean too, though. I was just about to say those two, I'd say are about on the same level. And you gotta think the Seahawks defense should have beaten peyton Man and Tom Brady and back to back Super Bowls. That would have been unpresident Yeah, that would have been something special. But they called the wrong play on the one you'ldline. Yeah,

that's a great defense. I just don't know if it's the Bears that mystique soldier field. Yeah, all right, Thick Buccus was the middle linebacker. No Mike, No, Dick Buckets was retired by then, but one of us though that he may have been deceased by the middle linebacker on that team was Mike Singletary. Mike Singletary right, who became a coach later came a coach later on the Crazy Eyes. Mike Singletary right, right, And that defense is great. And then the next year the Giants won the Super Bowl

and eighty six with their great defense. So, um, you know, and I also know Brian or Laca one of the greatest finalists for the Hall of Fame this year. Brian or he should be a no, no doubt. Would you put Brian orlack on your staff when you when you take over this team. Absolutely, he'd be, uh my linebackers coach. He would having coaching linebacker. Absolutely, That's cool. You're gonna get a job for him. That is interesting stuff right there. I'll let you know that, Dick Budet, sorry, we put

him in the Great Feast of the Live. Um. Yes, So now, first thing I want to ask you about this, about this new opportunity, what do you think of your your your quarterback Mitchell Trabinski. He's a second year quarterback. Moved up in the draft to get him at the University of North Carolina. Mitchell the truth, Trabinsky, What do you think about his game? What do you think he's going to be able to do? Or do you think you guys gotta start over from scratching quarterback? Are you

willing to work with a young man? I'm willing to work with a young man. Uh. You know, when he first came in, he didn't look so great, but you know, you pay your dues. You're a rookie. You gotta get used to the game. You used to the NFL game speed um and the playbook as well. And then towards the end, he started playing a little better. He started, you know, doing a lot better. I think he uh, you know, he was passing for a lot more yardage.

And you know, Kendall Wrights started going off with him too, so they're starting to build a rapport. I think that you gotta give him at least one more more year two to learn and excel. He's very young. He's a young man. It's it's this isn't quarterback. Isn't a young young man's game. It's really you know, you gotta be Your late twenties are really when quarterback start start really taking off and start really doing well. It's not easy.

In his first season, uh completed his passes, which is not great, no through yards, had seven touchdowns and seven interceptions. Quarterback rating under eighty at seventy seven. Tough rookie season. How do you think? What's your plan to improve as the head coach? What's your plan to improve this young quarterback? Well, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna I'm gonna hire, first of all, a great offensive coordinator. I want a

QB whisper since we got a young QB. Okay, you want like a guy that coming in and work with the quarterbacks. Yeah, maybe maybe I could even get McDaniels. He's probably gonna be a head coach, but maybe I could pay him. Maybe, you know, organization could pay him a little bit more than pay nobody. That's why they hired you to you. They spend all their money on me. But I'm gonna try my best to find somebody, Okay,

up and coming young offensive mind. But about Brian Leftwich Byron Leftwisch, former quarterback out there in Arizona he's his name is a hot name as a coming up as a he's a quarterbacks coach. Now maybe you make him. Maybe you'll send him to offensive coordinator and have him work with the truth Trabinsky. Yeah. Absolutely, We're gonna interview a lot of guys. I mean, you know, we're gonna see who's the right fit for our team. As far as offense, I'm more of a defensive coordinator. I'm more

of a defensive coach. But we're gonna get it done. I'm a players coach, so you know, I try to get involved with the players and you know, we'll go out, we'll get to know each other well, and you know, I think it's gonna be a good year for the Chicago Bears. Um when you go, are you're going to other players gonna have a curfew on the road. Uh nah, No, I'm not. You know. My theory is, don't be too strict. Then the kids, you know, they get they get rowdy

later on that problem. You don't want to be too disciplined, but you also don't want to be too lenient. So somewhere in the middle I think is the best route to go on offense. Also, you have a good dunking running back in Jordan Howard. Back to back seasons of putting up a nice numbers for Mr Howard coming in with another eleven hunted yards eleven two yards on the season um average of a four yards to carry, nine

touchdowns on the year. Not really a guy who's gonna catch the football, even though he caught twenty three passes this year. You talk about Jordan Howard, is he kind of where you wanted to run your offense through. Yeah. Absolutely. As I've told you in the past, Mr Executive, I love to ground and pound the football. I like my running backs to run between the tackles, straight up the middle, north and south. So, uh, Jordan how It is that type of runner. They call him the Bulldozer for a reason.

I love Jordan how I think we're gonna we're gonna rely on him heavily this next year while we're building with Mitchell Trobinski and I like Terry Cohen is a nice change of pace, pass catching type, third down back. We just gotta get these guys, you know, block and get better for for Mitchell as well. You know, as the season goes along, we're gonna we're gonna train him hard. With that so that they can protect my young quarterback.

Do you think Cohen's had enough usage this year? Said, because it was talking in the passing game seventy one times, caught three balls. That makes him relevant even in fantasy circles. But we didn't really see him run between the tackles too much, the minutive guy. But we know people would say that he can if you get him in space and you know, kind of beginning to give him the ball.

Some people say it's better than slamming Jordan Howard into the back of the old line thirteen fourteen times a game. So you're saying, instead of going Howards so much, going more Cohen as like kind of mixing when I'm maxing you, would you be willing to mix it up a little bit or what you just want to use Cohen primarily

in that third dawn role. I think what I would do is I go Howard with at least fifteen to twenty touches, mostly carries up the middle, and Cohen will mix him, match him, will give him at least four or five targets a game. We might even throw him in the slot. I like throwing him in the slot sometimes throughout the season, because you know, he's a good receiver. Uh, and he could be a great slot receiver because he's shifty, he's elusive, and I like that for my slot guy.

Plus you know receivers. You know, we we still have to grow that Kevin White. Will see what happens next year if he comes back or not. I don't know. We got we gotta see what The next question I wanted to ask you, Kevin White, do you think it's time to move on from Kevin White? He's been a bust to flame out young man, can't seem to get on the field. This team has had massive wide receiver problems throughout throughout Chicago Bear history. What are you gonna

do with this wide receiver corps? Well, if are you gonna try to get get it done in free agency because you know you still got Mike Glennon on the books too. M Um, Well, what I'm what I'm thinking. It pains me to say that. I you know, I think it's time to look elsewhere Kevin White. It's been too long now three years running, that he hasn't been

able to stay on the field. And it's a shame because I really liked Kevin White coming out of college, great player, talented, was But we're gonna have to look to see if we can get a number one WIE receiver out there. Whether it's free agency, whether it's in the draft. Um, We're gonna have to see because I think we need somebody to help this guy, Mitchell Drabinsky when he's throwing the ball. I think we got the pieces elsewhere. Do you think you would use your first

round draft pick on a wide receiver this year? It's a possibility. I have to look at the board. I have to see what's out there. I'm not gonna always go best player available, but you know I need to fill my team needs. I might build the defense more. I might. This defense looks strong, it's been very good this past year, and I don't want to build upon that. Yeah, but the offense offensively, the team is terrible, one of

the worse in the NFL. And in today's NFL you need to be able to score points to You got a rookie quarterback, no wide receivers, in a running back, they can't catch football in the backfield. Well, I understand that what we got Howard and Cohen. So Cohen's are catch You're gonna utilize Cohen more on this offense. Yeah, yeah, we're gonna use both. We're gonna use both of them. We're gonna make it a very dynamic offense. We're gonna use our talented players. You probably makers. You probably can

get Torell Prior for cheap. What do you think of that? That the wide receiver for the Washington I'm absolutely in line for that. I'm okay with that receiver to help the rookie QB. So that's your new head coaching or manager, Chris Vntra. He's a man of many, many talents. J V Closer standout intramural corner fake head coach in general manager Chris Vntra of the Chicago Bears. When we come back on the other side, I want to ask Mr Venture about some players that didn't perform well in two

thousand seventeen. longer with us. So sometimes it takes me, Chris and I think about Ted Finn sometimes when I come into the studio and I don't see his bowl here, I just just think about those last days with him and here freezing the death. Yeah, I'm tempt you without of him here too. Yeah. And then would you think that we froze him? It's um, we don't know that for sure, No, we don't. But I just feel so bad about that. I know, Norman, meet him at the crossroad, Meet Ted

Finn the crossroad. I missed my I missed my fish tan a y'all, Well, you're a big bone thugs and harmony guy. Not really, Yeah, a little bit. I like a couple of their songs that it was a classic. No, bone Thugs a little bit. But before that, Bone Thugs and Harmony. This was their jam, the Crossroads. They had this the first of the month of from Wild Dudes from Cleveland, right, and then they had um. They had the they on the Life after That, the Life After

Death album. You know it's boning Biggie. That's Bone Thugs and Harmony, right, it was. They had some hits back in like the nineties. Right. One of their songs, um, Let's call Me Biggie, Biggie, Let's call me John. That was the Biggie jam. But they was on it, right, bone Thugs. This is this bones this, Bone Tugs and Biggie. It's a classic. Right here, this is the jam right here, that's Bone Thugs and Harmony. So I had this situation right one time, right, this is random. So who just

used to work at the Port Authority. I used to do baggage for Gray Hand, you know what I'm saying, Like I had like real jobs. I just wasn't like a fantasy exactly all the time. I wasn't born like this. No, I had to hustle. Yeah, no, I had to hustle. I had to hustle to get this this point, Chris. And since and I had to hustle very hard. If you notice him, my hue makes it a little bit more difficult now with that being said, Yeah, yeah, this is true. I saw you with the corn Roads too.

We gotta retweet that. Yeah, no doubt about that. So um you know, and and the cross Road song. And it's like he talked about missing his uncle Charles. I actually knew a chick that was like uncle Charles is like niece, you know what I'm saying. But she wasn't with like the other side of the bone bone she was too. She she was I M I met her, Yeah, on the way to leveland with bones dogs was from I saw that. I was like, oh, hold up, I was young fantasy executive. You know what I'm saying, early

twenties or something. I might still I might still have been to my nah, yeah, probably like early early twenty I might never been twenty one yet, you know what I'm saying. There you go right there, Chris, So you were still I still had the energy. I still got it now, Chris. Yeah, Yeah, we talked about this yesterday until we discussed this yesterday on the in the Pit of misery. Yeah, you know what else am I gonna do? You know what I'm saying, that's that's I need to

get my rest um. So right quick, I want to ask you this, would you consider as the new head coach of Chicago Bears? Congratulations? Would you consider signing a quarterback in free agency? Like going and getting the quarterback and putting quarterback in there and saying the dister biscuit kit. You know what, You're not ready yet. You gotta learn

under this guy's tutel you're talking about. Maybe be like a guy like Eli Manning, Like under Eli Manning, Eli Manning, Case Keenum, Alex Smith, the only guy her cousins, the only guy I would think about. But it's just, you know, it's gonna be very difficult to plug to take this guy away. Gucci Garoppolo, Ohucci, It's gonna be hard to get Gucci. I can imagine that's the guy you want, being an Italian American. Well yeah, well, yeah, that's the guy I want. Yeah, you know, I would love to

have him. The problem is you get a guy like him. I don't know if Trubisky is ever going to see the field. No, not for a long time. Not if you not for a long So that ain't the right move. But but Eli Eli is an option because you know what he's Also he's close to your heart too. Yeah, I'm a giant fan, as you know. And also he's not gonna be too expensive. You know, he's a rental Yeah, so I'm okay with that. Okay, Cool, You're not going l though. No, No, we're gonna have to rebuild for

a couple of year. That's why they saw me to a three year contract. You're giving you three years to turn this thing around. Yeah. The rebuilding, you still rebuild rebuilding stage. You know, it's interesting early stages. Would you wouldn't the drafting a quarterback though? Would? Do you think it's other needs on this team? Just drafted a quarterback last year. I'm not drafting a quarterback, definitely not doing that. I'm looking for wide receiver. I'm looking at you know,

you got what you probably you know what. I just would be unfair to ask you this. I'd be interesting. And then we're gonna ask Doctor A next time we talk to Dr Eg. Status of Cam Meredith towards a c L pretty bad in the in the preseason. He's a good he's a good receiver cam America. So we'll see if he's going to be back at full strength for training camp. So we'll ask Dr A about that next time we speak to him. You just waked at the cameras now, like a little sign to your girlfriend. Um, No,

I just did that. I don't know why I did that. There's no run reason to that. All right, cool, Chris. Let's talk about some players didn't do too well in our two thousand seventeen and I want to get your opinion on these guys. Would you ever in this would you ever again? Have you ever after Tyler Effort? I have why. This was because a couple of reason why I asked you why, Because the Tyler Efford story is

the same. He's not going to be healthy in training camp, right, They're gonna says be ready by He's going to be a guy that might go onto publist. He might play two or three games, then it's gonna go on. I all with a back injury that happens every single year to Tyler. I seriously, every single well he had one year has he had he had one full, pretty full year, right, that was the year I had him. Oh look at you, I got lucky. That was, like I think it was

just the year after's rookie year. Okay, I had him so um, but I got lucky. So yeah, I wouldn't. I wouldn't invest. I wouldn't invest maybe a flyer because there is upside, you know, there's upside, like he's got that touchdown upside. There's no upside on the player that's going to end on his season on the I All with the back. Every single time, Chris, this is not I'm not This is not me. This is not me telling you this could happen. He is going to end this season on the I All with a back injury.

Don't draft him any more. I don't care how much to talk about the red zone. I don't care how much to talk about his healthy is every Tyler effort season will end with him playing two or three games and finishing the season on the injury waste. He's a waste. Do you feel that same type of way about Jordan Reid. I think Jordan reach retired many concussions, always hurt, He's always laboring. I think DC needs to move on from him after they move on from him. I don't think

he's really a thing for fancy no more. If he hits then it's going to be by accident. But I'm almost I'm not to the level on Jordan reason. I am more Tyler effort, but I'm getting there because more

promising player. And he's also been healthier for more years than than But you don't have a back injury either, right, that's reoccurring and lingering, um, but you know, has there been I'm trying to think, is there a guy who's been hurt like two or three years, had a lingering injury that came back and played a full season, Like I'm trying to think of a guy that's ever have done that? Maybe a right two or three years m Chris says Gronk. But Gronk has had different things, have

different injuries. But that's a good that's a good call right there, because Gronk, they grunk, played just about the whole season this year, right, and he had very That's a risk, yeah, that is. But people still drafted him in the second round like he wasn't a risk because he is upside's crazy and you know he's with Brady, Are you done with the Shan Jackson after this fat last season in Tampa? Jackson, I've been done with de

Sean Jackson since two thousand thirteen. Oh see, you're a Giant fans, so you don't like your Sean Jackson at all, ever since he returned that touchdown on the Eagles against US, and I was like, I'm done with de Sean Jackson. I can't it's too much too much for you to take. I don't care if he's the best player on the board, I'm not taking him. I remember that that Dad play. I remember that game, and it was it was one of the highlights of my life to see New York

Giants fans truck stuffing like that. I was very happy about that. That was so it was like a dagger to the chest. Fifty reception, six six sixty eight yards, three touchdowns. That's not what you want from de Sean Jackson. No. You know what's funny though, usually what we call him a boom a bus guy. Right, he actually was consistent. He was more. Yeah, he was consistently three for thirty five. No, you're right, I mean he like he was consistently If you look at his on a per game basis, de

Sean Jackson was three catches for forty seven yards. That's not good. That's not good at all. I know there was just that beginning part of the season between weeks like three and seven, where four out of the five weeks he gave you at least twelve points. That was the only consistent part of the f M. I thought maybe he was gonna come through with Tampa Bay at that point. Think about it. Early in the year, You're like, Wow, eighteen point four, fifteen point six, twelve point eight, twelve

point three, Maybe he's got he's doing something. Didn't happen. Didn't happen? Hey, Ryan Righteous is in the in the in the chat says they got that fire krawn here in Oregon, fire krawn tire kron. I think he's talking about the chronic. Yeah, well in Oregon. He said they've got that fire chronic in Oregon. I've never been in Oregon before. I really have no reason that I really would see no reason to go there extuft for like, if they was if I was like gonna be like

a trailblazer, you feel what I'm saying. If I was going to like the Nike campuses to sign a to sign a deal with Nike. Right right, We'll see like a NIXT Trailblazers game, right like something like that. I would I would have to have a shorty out there for me to go out there this to see it,

just to see it back. I can see the NIXT car Street matches square going, but I'm going I would have to have a short in Oregon to go out there, go to the game floor seats and then Uber seriously, because New York's got to get on that crying game too. That what the chronic to see what's going on in the country. You know, Chris Ventra, is there something wrong? Is there something? No? I'm actually about DeVante Parker venture. Would you ever draft DeVante Parker again? Or have you

ever drafted him? Oh? I love DeVante Parker. I drift him this year? Why do he Why are he not good? Why he's never been good? Well, he's still young, he hasn't been around that long. This was the third year. I think this was the third season of being a disappointment. Right, No, wait, he was pretty good for a while before he got hurt. He got hurt. Jake Cutler's garbage time. God reach you his numbers, You're not gonna be impressed. I know he

was a garbage time guy. You're right, dude, after the middle of the season, and then after that he kind of fell off. Fifty seven catches, six hundred and seventy yards, one touchdown. Yeah, that's just because the Dolphins aren't good. Though the guy's good. I don't think he's good. I think he's scared. I don't think he wanted to play that. He doesn't push yourself past injuries. You see me, I'm out here grinding. I don't think DeVante Park grind like this. Wow,

we'll talk about it. We'll talk about how do we come back. Fantasy football Freestyle, not the frenzy. Does your fantasy football team suck? Did you draft David Johnson with the first pick? Jockson isn't anything either in my opinion, Like he shows questions, but he has nothing consistent to me. The issue with tarroll prior you look at throw priors and then members last year. Obviously they were a hundred times better than this year seventy seven

catches one thousands and seven yards four to touchdowns. Because that weren't being drafted in the top fifteen wide receivers though, three days from eleven to noon, Easter only on Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Right. They will make a movie about it. Shout out to the cipher. Dilly Dilly to the cipher, checking out rocking with us Um. Jordy Nelson Ventram was it the lack of Aaron Rodgers because he was still scoring touchdowns when he had Aaron Rodgers, then he was

a zero Jordy. When you think about Jordy next year, I'm taking him after Davante Adams, right, I think that would be the right thing to do. Um, But I don't think he's done. I mean, when you got Rogers throwing you the ball, and you got that type of rapport with someone for years, you know, years. Um, I still think he could get it done. I still think he could get you touchdowns. I don't know if he's gonna be as good of a peep three years old when the season starts next year, right, which is not

you know it's old, but it's not that old. It's not like he could be done. Then again, Calvin Johnson retired when he was like twenty nine. So Calvin Johnson was beat up. Though Calm Johnson a big duet. He took a lot of big shots. It pained me because he honestly, he should have been the best receiver of all time. He should have been the best. Well you don't remember, you've never watched Jerry Rice has to be because of the longevity, and he's a compiler. He had

it old and compiled. He was the best he was. But but what about talent, Like you're not gonna say Calvin Johnson wasn't like his wingspan and his jumping ability and all this stuff. You compare to day's to today's NFL. Jerry Rice is Antonio Brown, Calvin Johnson is Julio Jones. Jerry Rice is Antonio Brown. Yeah, that's how it is, and you compare to days, Julio Jones is I think

better than Calvin Johnson. Now at this point, Julio Jones is gonna be one of the greatest ever I can he I think, I think, I think it's gonna be too beat up down the back end of his career to to live that out. Big white receivers get beat up, they do. You're right, You're right about that. Big white receivers get hurt more often the smaller guys last. They're evasive, they don't take big hits. Coolio tries to truck people, and what happens is you start trucking people more and more,

you start getting more and more beat up. Whereas Antonio Brown just cutting people up. Odell Beckham cutting people up and then he falls, you know, like he won't take a big lick. Odell Beckham is a gee though. Odell Beckham can play. Oh yeah no, he cuts everybody up. I love watching him play. He's your guy, just thinks that his personality and the best you know, would you, I know you'd like to have him on your Chicago Bears that that you're the head coach of now what

a receiver to help Trabinsky grow. Humh, you go right there. I love it all right, So you're not in on so you said you all and without DA's Bryant for next year. That's Bryant coming off a down season this year or in many regards, des Briant not getting it done the way he normally has in the past. I think it could be a chemistry issue with Dak Prescott.

I'm not buying no injury. What I do think by looking at the America's team as much as I do, taxing our reception six touchdowns y nine yards, that's not a dead Brian type season. We definitely don't play a second round fantasy price for those type of numbers right there? Would you go back in on Dez Bryant on the third round price tag next year? Once again, you know wide receiver two meaning you have a running back, you got one running back and two wide received you got

one running back one. So let's say your team, So say your team is all Melvin Gordon, Keenan Allen, and then in the third round, would you take that Bryant? No? Why not? Well, one like Sean Jackson, I really don't like to take this ums. Do you play fantasy with your heart? Do you not draft players because they go and get some New York Giants? No, I'm not gonna lie. Sometimes I do and that's a mistake. But as I get older over the years, like more recently, I've been

playing more in my head. And that's why recently I've been doing a lot better. I've been making ships because when you do this for a living, I don't care what team may be for you paying you can't play with your heart. I don't care they got Dave Ponty. I gotta get mines. But I also don't think that is I think he's a little bit overrated at this point. Okay, so I think he's more. I would take him in the fourth and look for the fourth. Yeah, I take

him in the fourth. I'm interested if I'm interested, if if, if he's a fourth round draft pick next year. Alright, we're gonna set a board up on the Frenzy. Maybe maybe not this week if we don't do it, because this week is tomorrow and I'm not doing nothing to night, going home and get me something rest. He just turned twenty nine. I'm still young man. Yeah, still still can play. I don't think he's a wide receiver one. I think he needs somebody on the opposite side of him now

to draw some of that coverage away from him. Maybe mcdez look like a secondary threat in that passing game. He's not a wide receiver number one anymore. I would like the Cowboys to go out inside Allen Robinson. That would be a nice to two big guys to and then you got Cole in slot. Cole Beasley, you like you a Cod Beasley guy. He's a good player. He's not a great fancy player because he don't get used enough. He's better, He's better, He's a better real NFL. Terence

Williams is the same way. Um, I'm off Terence Williams rather have Beasley than Terrence was in real life too, all my beds, I'd rather have Beasley than Terence Williams. Bears. I like how you embrace the franchise. Already love the franchise. Do they have a statue of Jimmy Garoppolo in Brooklyn? I mean they're Jimmy Garoppolo statue in Breton Hurst as it being erected. Yet a couple of years they got

the plan in place. The plan is in place to the erector Jimmy Garoppolo statue in dependent her shout out to beat hers right in front of St. Mary's Church and you go right there, i'ld be beautiful. Do you think any Lacey has done? Yes, that's it. Huh. No more Lacy for you ever. Again, I'm not trying anymore. I had him one year when he was on the package. I I can't, I can't. I was interested in him this year. I'm not gonna lie, but I just he's not doing He didn't do it at all. Like he

didn't do nothing at all. And he used to catch passes too. It is what people forgotten. He did none of that. He couldn't run between the tackles. Now, some might say, is that because of the Seattle offensive line. No, it's because he sucks. He's overweight, he sucks. He's not that good of a player. That's why I agree with you.

Here you go, let me ask you this. When you were um playing baseball in high school, you ever get in a situation here, but you had to like go high and tight, like you know what I'm saying, kind of bash the guy off the plate, or maybe send a message that the Varian High School wasn't here to play. Yeah, actually I got a story for you. I hit short

story exhibitions of varying. We were playing youth Service. I don't know if you heard of a youth service that sounds like that, sounds like school, sound like a jail school, it does, right. A lot of great players came from there. Many Ramirez came from youth many many Rembrans with the g dub up in Washington Heights. Not a school, It's a sandlot team. Okay, cool? I played. I pitched against

them in the exhibition game, faced down pretences. Oh you face the dish though, also okay, So Della Ptances is another Washington the Heights Guyntances. So he played for Youth Services, play for youth service. He was like he was still obviously six foot seven or whatever. So no, no, how did this happen? Did? Where? Where was Youth services? Bait? But where was the a home field? I mean they had like a whole It was mostly I think in um Well was this game played that more? Less? Well?

This game was played in a home turf in hert in Brooklyn Bay Ridge is just as dangerous. If you know where I'm coming from I went out one time one time, and I'm talking about I got out the Trade Avenue. I don't know where I was at. I just know I went out there, and when I realized what I was at, I was like, I got hurt, Get the hell out of here. And I went out there. I went to, I went to, I went to I went to meet beat up with a homeboy for a dinner.

We had the dinner right back up town. So and I was not I was not fooling around in Bensonhurst. So you had a dinner in bay Ridge. I guess it was in bay Ridge because if they don't have restaurants and Bess and hers not really. Yeah, okay that bay Ridge has all the restaurants. That's where people go. And Dyke is like the nice neighborhood in between. I kind of live on that brink right now. Okay. But um yeah, what was I saying? So I hit that on ptendis you hit him? I hit him right in

the leg, right in the leg, my accidental. I was freezing. It was exhibition games earlier in the fall, like and uh, I mean late in the fall. I think spring, early in the spring, right, something like that. And it was cold, and pitching in the cold is you can't get a grip on the ball. It's very difficult. So I just slipped and I hit Dylan right in the leg. And I know that that was the prize possession too, So it was like, but he just brushed me off because

I wasn't throwing hot whatsoever. So I was throwing about fifty Like, oh, it's like I'm good. Yeah, the first so that always so you hit ptences, Yeah, I hit down Patances. I also played with Pedro Biatta. I don't know if you remember having pitched for the Mets. He was, he was on my team. He played for the Yeah, you know Adam Runs. He probably covered him for Newsday back in the day. Adam. I heard of Adam Runs,

but I don't think I've ever met him. Somebody in the chance to Invincent Hurst, they got a statue of any they just might. The Jets loved him, fans loved him, long Island guy, all of that, you know what I'm saying. Then one day I looked up his stats. I was like, this guy is really not that good. I love him because he was he used to rock. He was at the quarterback for the U and the and like the U era. You feel what I'm saying. When they was like the you to you, he was the quarterback, but

when he got to the NFL he was very interceptive. Verdie, Oh my god, I don't know if he had a couple of coffee with the Cowboys one time too. Did he have more intos and touchdowns in his crew? No, I don't think you have more close touchdown And then looked that up right quickly. I'm addressing testa, the test of verdiereen green head? What does that mean? Very day in Italian? Is green? Oh? Okay, you know, head, I'm learning language from the old country. He through. Where's his

test career? Uh? Two? Two hundred and sixty seven? Ain't those two touchdowns just close? Very closet. That's not going to get you a statue in business, Jimmy Garoppolo, you're gonna have. You don't have big shoes to fill as far as Italian American quarterbacks go. The ones that are great, but you have big shoes to feel, Vince Lombardi, and you're the head coach of the well, there is two great um Italian quarterbacks too, great legendary time quarterbacks Dan Marino,

Joe Montana, I forgot about the time. Yeah, that's right, Joan Montana da American. Yeah cool, you know, so bust the bus. We'll see how Garoppolo stands up to that. Oh this is great song. It's a little bit for your time. Maybe I was crazy when this joint came out. He was wild. I was in Owensburg. I was in Owensburg, South Carolina when this happened, when this came out, jam, So you were going off downe Now we come back on the other side. You get ready to put a
