Midtown Manhattan here Studio thirty four. Want to I mentioned it at the top of the live read. But for you guys that listen on the you know, the Fantasy Sports Radio Network app or that download afterwards on demand,

you may not have heard. I want to mention again, Dan Rooney chairman of the Pittsburgh Steelers, has passed away today at the age of eighty four, known for the Rooney Rule, among other things, which now mandates that all teams, when looking for a head coach interview at least one minority Candiday Dan Rooney passing away today at the age of eighty four. As we move on though here on the Fantasy Freestyle, me and Donnie Burns. A little bit later, we are going to give you our NBA playoff preview.

You know we're talking about we've been talking about, you know, Russell Westbrooken, James Harden and Lebron James and Kawuahi Leonard and these teams and the rest. Interesting though that as soon as they get to the playoffs, you know, there's no back to back nights. You know, there's in fact too much rest almost games like a game on a Wednesday not again until Saturday, a Sunday. Part of that's

the TV schedule. Part of it is because we can't have these guys like Lebron and Steph carry rest thing, right, So they certainly changed the schedule. Donnie Burns and Speeds, We're gonna do a little playoff preview, a little bit later and as always, you can engage with the show so many different ways. One holler at me all hour long if you want at eight four four eight four three six eight seven nine, I'll be here to hold you down and talk to you about anything that we

talked about on the show. You could also follow us at f n T s Y Radio on Twitter. You could also follow me at Spinning Speeds on Twitter. We got a couple of polls for you guys to uh, you know, engage in. First of all, what is the biggest threat to a warrior's calves repeat in the finals? You know, different options. We'll go through them when we come back. And also we've been talking about you know,

you're in density over the last couple of shows. Hey Donnie, what if I told you I got another story about it? So we put up a poll on that. All that and more. Where we come back, We're gonna have some fun. Come back and join the cipher Stain Martinez Speeds, that spitting statisticians here on the Fantasy Freestyle, on the Fantasy Sports Radio networks and on the Sports Byline affiliates and on the American Forces Radio Network as well. Come on back. We're gonna have a good time. I like it when

I get aggressive. Yeah, get get aggressive in those tournaments. That's what Benny Riccardi told you last hour on the DFS lineup lock not so much on the cash games. You know, in a little while Speeds will give you his starting lineup in DFS tonight. Go around the league's in Major League Baseball. Here in the Fantasy Freestyle, you listen to Speeds and spitting statistician. Big shout out to of course, all of our sports Byline affiliates today, I'm

gonna shout out South Dakota. South Dakota doesn't always get shouted out in Aberdeen nine thirty am, in Rapid City at eighty m KO t A and in Sioux Falls eleven forty a m A Donnie Burns. That reminds me of method Man and the Wu Tang Clan. Can I get a soul in Sioux Falls k s O O eleven forty Big shout out from the Fantasy Freestyle and of course American Forces Service Network all around world. Check it out. We got a couple of poll questions up

for the show today. If you want to get at me, you could call eight four four eight four, three, six, eight, seven, nine. You could always engage with us on our polls. Also at f n T s Y Radio, you can follow your boy Dame Martinez at Spitting Speeds as well. Send any questions. We'll answer him during the show. Here are poll questions. First one, what is the biggest threat to

a Warrior's calves? Repeat like a finals tiebreaker? Over the last two years, we've seen it, you know, the Dubs get one Lebron and the Cavs answer back in Game seven last year. Here are the four options. We're gonna get into this with my boy Donnie Burns a little bit later. Is it option A? The calves defensive struggles. Remember last week they gave up like a twenty six point lead in the fourth quarter to the Atlanta to the Atlanta Hawks. I'm gonna said, Atlanta Falcons. Isn't that

crazy Speeds? Is mind always on football? The second option, is it like heroic efforts from one of these m VP candidate, a guy like Russell Westbrook or James Harden. We're gonna profile what that That series is gonna be bananas as a first round series. Is it team play? You know from some of these new teams is it a teams like you know, the San Antonio Spurs that play the right way, the Boston Celtics that know the data.

Is that those kind of teams that are gonna, you know, maybe upset the apple cart here in the NBA playoffs or nothing. It's just locked up, loaded, it's signed, sealed, delivered. It's gonna be a three pet for the NBA Finals. Let us know on that pole question. Here's the other pole because Donnie and I know, man, you thought it was crazy at first. Yesterday I am on a mission to convert you, my friend. We talked about how the San Francisco Giants are monitoring to monitoring you know, your

in density as a you know thing for hydration. Well, I got another story about it. We're gonna talk about that again a little bit later on. We put the Fun and Functional Sports Radio. But we ask everybody out there, do you think teams analyzing players sleep and their urine is actually an invasion of privacy for the athlete? We got options there is yes, no or not in the pros, but in college or amateur game yes, let us know.

You can holler at us on Twitter. Let's get into speeds is starting lineup right now, and started off with news and notes around Major League Baseball. First of all, Todd Fraser, he's got the flu. Remember he was going around in Boston with the Red Sox as well. Well, Todd Fraser is gonna be out today in the White Sox game. The Tribe sent Tyler Naquin down to Triple A. Columbus Listen, he had an incredible second half last year as a rookie, but a lot of people knew that

that was unsustainable. I told you if you looked a little bit deeper, he was a fool. Gazzy forgot about him, and now he's down in Triple A. Hector run done, relief pitcher for the Cubs. He's going to have an m r I in his left knee. He got banged up in yesterday's game. I think he's actually gonna miss a significant amount of time. And this is interesting in some fantasy leagues, fantasy leagues where maybe holds are important. This is the eighth inning spot for the world champion

Chicago Cubs. They're gonna be some interesting hold options right behind Wade Davison. That one keep an eye on that and Giovanni Soto catchup for the White Sox is headed to the ten d d L with a right elbow injury. Let's keep it moving though here on the Fantasy Freestyle on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network, and uh, you know, as usual, I hold myself accountable. I want to tell you how I did last night. I had a good night last night. Oh boy, last night, I gave you

some starters. It worked out pretty well. In my own lineup. I had guys like Michael Confordo who went off, David Freeze who went off. I also last night I told you that I was fading Yovanni Guillardo thrown for this Seattle Mariners against the Houston Astros. I told you to start Jose Altuve, that it was gonna be the cheapest you would ever get him at thirty one hundred, and that he was starting to get hot. All he did was go three for three and walked twice, got on

base five times. I hope you were listening to speedz of spitting statistician, because if you had how To in your lineup, Confordo in your lineup, freezing your lineup, you probably won that cash. But because I always say you start with the starting pitching right, and I told you last night, why pay eight eight hundred for Stephen Wright, that knuckleballer when the weather is not right right just yet? Remember I told you how things in April are not

necessarily normal, and I didn't like him. Last night against the Baltimore Orioles. What happened if you spend eighty eight hundred dollars? He went one and a third innings, gave up eight runs. I told you, I hope you listen to speed and spitting statistician and dead. I told you to go with Marcus Stroman at eighties six hundred. I said that he had some k upside. I said that he was still riding high off his you know, World Baseball Classic and fresh start. What do you do? He

pitched a complete game. He went all nine innings for the Toronto Blue Jays, gave up only two runs. Tough luck loser, though, as the Blue Jays lost two to nothing. He did get a quality start. So that was pretty good for you, right, So now let's keep it moving and look forward to tonight. If you look forward to tonight, and especially if you listen to the DFS lineup block

with Tony Sankata and Benny Riccardi and Yo. They are giving you what you need to win that cash, and you need to download the Fantasy Sports Radio Network app. This way you can get DFS lineup Block, you can get species, the Spitting Statistican, you can get all the great content on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network and you can get it for free. That's what we're trying to do. With's like a public service almost. But everybody was saying it comes down to that game the Giants and the

Rockies with Madison bum Gardener. I am not spending up for Madison bum Gardener tonight. I'm looking to beat Madison bum Gardener because he's costing eleven thousand dollars on FanDuel and I don't think that's I think that's not worth it. Especially don't get a twisted don't forget Buster Posey is on the seven Day Concussion DL, So mad bum is gonna be working with a different catcher. I don't know how much of a big difference that makes, but I'm

looking for reasons to beat Madison bum Gardener tonight. I'm looking in that same game, I'm looking at John Gray at seventy eight hundred. I like that, um, I like the big ballpark difference. Remember we talked about ballparks a little bit the other day in terms of the foul territory that's in places like Wrigley Verse, places like Oakland. Well, this San Francisco park is cavernous, Benny McCarty said last hour. Unless you're Barry Bonds, you're not hitting it out into

the water. It is a big ballpark. I like John Gray tonight, you know, I mean that's a game where I think it's gonna be low scoring. It is the lowest total on the board as well, if you like one other one other person. And it's hard though today because there's games in Cincinnati, which is a crazy ballpark in Yankee Stadium, and in terms in terms of the rotation and today's day where it's like a lot of

starting pitcher four's and fives going the other guy. I would look at and I know you're gonna say it's crazy, but think about Francisco Liriano. Francisco Liriano, he of the one hundred and thirty five e r A because of that crazy first start to a season. But I think he might bounce back. He's back at home against Baltimore. And remember in the spring spring training, his strikeout to

walk ratio was out of control. So if you have a nice stomach and you're if if you're thinking about ways to try and beat Madison bum Gardner, I got to four year. It's Francisco Liriano at seven eight hundred and John Gray at also seventy hundred. One thing I want to mention to you guys, remember yesterday one of the polls I had up was like who would you want to see in the whole run contest? And one of the options was gian Carlos Stanton. The winning option

was Giancarlos Stanton. Was like, fifty eight of you guys picked gian Carlos Stanton. Well, he hit two home runs last night, and I think this is very very interesting. I want to get into this because, um, both of his home runs went exactly three hundred feet I believe, same distance, but they had very different launch angles and exit velocities. And these are stats that we're telling you all, these like next Gens stats that we're talking about. His first home run went out at a hundred ten miles

an hour, but at a thirty six degree angle. Okay, so it got all the way up to like hundred ft high. It was like one of these towering shots, but it wound up traveling the same distance. His second home run went off his bat six miles an hour faster, right, and but his launch angle was nineteen degrees, So it was like the proverbial frozen rope. If you ever hear that, it only went forty eight feet high at its max.

He crushed it. It It went the same distance. But that's what we're talking about when we give you numbers and rates like hard hit contact and launch angle. That is part of the statistical revolution that is happening right now in baseball. I told you about leadoff hitters that are hitting home runs now. It's because people are understanding this launch angle idea, okay, and that's what that's what really

is all about. High school physics teachers, high school math teachers, why are you not using this in like in your class. The idea of launching parabolas over the fence is really true, and now we're analyzing it to try and square it up and think about how it is helping major league teams. I'm telling you Josh Donaldson is doing this. Jay Bruce for the New York Mets, who's off to a fast start. He's adjusting his approach to this. Everybody is trying to

get it in the air. I'm gonna tell you something, even Benny Riccardi, who I hear, is trying to coach up his kid on how to do this. I'll tell you about that not a little bit more when we come back. But here it is Fantasy Freestyle. Let me boy Dame Martinez on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Where we come back, I'm gonna bring him up, boy Donnie Burns. We're gonna talk NBA playoffs as well, So stick around.

It'll be fun. Come on back. You know what it is, boy Dave Martinez here on a Fantasy Freestyle and the Fantasy Sports Radio Network, and of course big shout out to all our sports byline affiliates in the American Forces Radio Network as well. I told you before we want to break that Benny Riccardi is training his kids based on things like launch angle. I'm telling you these new

stat cast that's are really interesting. We're gonna, you know, I'm gonna have Benny come on the show, I think tomorrow, and we're gonna talk about what he's doing, how he's applying these next gen stats. If you want to holler at me this hour, you can get eight four four eight four three six eight seven nine. You could also write some questions in on Twitter at F and T S Y radio, or you could holler at me Dane Martinez at spitting speeds. Let's get into the cipher here real quick. I got some news and notes from the NFL to share with you. This Marshawn Lynch thing is definitely going to happen. I'm

telling you. It sounds like there's a trade to the Raiders in place, and now the Raiders and Marshawn Lynch are almost just working out the details of a new contract and that is expected to be. What they're saying is quote unquote incentive based. I'm telling you this is going to happen. And remember, like my boy jack Chel, it's should be incentives based. Remember he missed out on two million dollars because the point oh five points per game in the NHL. I think there's an incredible option

if Marshawn Lynch goes there. Okay, a great offensive line to replace Latavius Murray and what was already a three headed monster with Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington. Um. You know, Lynch is not a three down back, but that's what they need, a goal line smash mouth. I think this would be a great fit, and Marshawn Lynch would only be there when they're still in Oakland trying to help his hometown win a super Bowl before they moved to Las Vegas or maybe San Antonio. Jay Cutler is apparently

contemplating retirement. I say why not. He's on the beach naked with his famous and rich Why he's got all the money he needs. Remember the Jets were maybe thinking about them, but he said he wanted to be playing for a contender. What contender right now? M what contender right now could use a quarterback still, I'd say it's Houston Texans or bust now from my man, Jay Cutler. Speaking of which, Tony Romo has yet to file formal paperwork to retire to the NFL, and I think that's

a smart move. You know, whether he's on the Dallas Mavericks or not. I think this is a smart move because you never know what happens. Football is very interesting game. Injuries do happen. I think it behooves him to stay in shape, not only because other teams may come calling come August. Remember last year, Teddy Bridgewater's injury at the very end of preseason. But what if, what if something happened to Dak Prescott. You don't think then Jerry Jones

would come calling. I think that's very interesting. Also signing that I think is interesting here I want to let you guys know about on the Fantasy freestyle, Jonathan Hankins signed with the Indianapolis Colts. That's a three year, thirty million dollar deal that looks good along that defensive line for Indianapolis. You know, the Colts defense has struggled in years past. I like that move. And that's also a loss for the New York Football Giants. That Giants defense

last year was stout a top five run defense. Yes, they still have snacks Damon Harrison, but that might be a loss that the Giants feel. And it is a nice start. Remember the Colts have a new GM, Chris Ballard. I think that's a nice start from really trying to shore up that defensive line because uh, well basically because

the Colts need to. Let's keep it moving though here in the cipher, one of the poll questions I mentioned to you is, uh, you know what would upset the apple cart in terms of yet another Warriors Cavaliers final or will it be Warriors come out and play. Hey, I'm gonna tell you right now, right now. On the poll,

it's kind of interesting, it's kind of close. We have thirty three percent saying nothing, it's gonna be Warriors Cavaliers again, but thirty three percent of you say the Cavaliers defensive struggles. I'm gonna bringing my boy Donnie Burns here, producer extraordinaire here on the Fantasy Freestyle and also serving as my NBA correspondent here on the Fantasy Freestyle right now, Donnie.

We got thirty three percent saying the Calves defensive struggles, saying team play from a team like San Antonio or Boston, and ten percent play saying it's gonna be like hero Ball out of a guy like Russell Westbrook or James Harden that could prevent the Warriors or the Calves. I don't want to do a spoiler. From the very beginning, I would be in this thirty three percent that says nothing, that say it will ultimately be Calves and the Warriors again.

But maybe this is just wishful thinking for me. What do you um? Generally speaking, and we'll get into some of these details here. But um, do we just know how the story is gonna end already? Doney, I want to say we do. But here's the thing. The first round matchup between the Calves and the Pacers, we got the two in the seven and this kind of coincides with the pole because you kind of have some of

those options there, Cleveland versus Indian Indiana. Right, So, Paul George, at the end of this month, I believe the media will be voting for all NBA teams, and if Paul George makes that all NBA team, he's in the line for a two d million dollar contract extensions. Therefore, his play has been unbelievable. I don't know. Try harder, and

that's big Miles Turner. They'll be tough. There's a lot of teams out there that can be so if the Calves are not right and a lot of people do not get the Catspacers, let me let me tell you something something I think is very interesting is in both conferences here, in these first rounds, I am very intrigued by the three six matchups in both conferences. Okay, first of all, in the East, that's the Toronto Raptors and the Milwaukee Bucks. Okay, when you have the Toronto Raptors.

Ever since Kyle Lowry has been back, the Raptors have looked good. And this is a team unlike say the Boston Celtics. This Raptors team, they have been there before. They have been to the Eastern Conference finals, they have battled Lebron before, they have You know, the NBA is really a league where you kind of make that little progression and each year you go a little bit further. Are the Toronto Raptors may be ready, That's one question. But I could kind of see people picking the upset

in the first round. You talk about it all around stud like Paul George in Indiana. What about the stud honest? Then a gumpo who is in the top twenty in every major category this regular season in the NBA, if I think that could be an upset. But I could also see Toronto going real far here as an experienced team now that Kyle Lowry's back in the Eastern Conference. Do you see any other series that might be primed

for an upset? Yeah, well, you mentioned the Toronto Milwaukee and if you kind of look at the status you got, Milwaukee had a hundred and three point six per game. Toronto went a hundred six nine. There. The statue are pretty similar. It's whether or not who's all stars gonna go off? They got DeMar the Rose and averaging were almost thirty points and then you got your Honest in the top twenty for everything. Right, So if you were to pick an upset in the Eastern Conference, I'd probably

go with this one. Uh, don't sleep on the Bulls either. Jimmy Butler is playing at a really really high rate right now, but he does have to go against Isaiah Thomas for sure. For sure. All right, let's look at this Western Conference and this time, well we're talking three verse six. Oh my goodness, get you popcorn? You know you know what I heard? That's interesting. They are not going to announce the m v P award until late June, right, okay,

and that might be rightfully so. But we got the one in two candidates for the m v P going together in this series, Rockets Verse Thunder in the first round, Russell Westbrook James Harden like might both of them average a triple double in this series? I think the over under on these games are gonna be something like two hundred and thirty. What do you how do you see this one breaking out? So we've talked about this actually

and pass shows. Uh. The thing that Golden Stage struggles with most is the big man combination, like Stephen Adds is Cantor. If the Thunder could get far enough, they pose a lot of problems because they have their point guard Avenue averaging a triple double. And there's sixth man who averages pretty much a double double with very menial minutes.

So and also you got Brody on a mission, wouldn't he like nothing better than to win the m v P Award average a triple double and then come and then in the Western Conference finals, and that that's how it would have to happen in the seeding. Be the guy like you said, and be the team that did in fact upset the apple Cart and take out the Warriors.

And like you mentioned, man enis Canther, Steven Adams. You know this is remember like New Orleans was thinking that this was gonna be the way to try and be Golden State with Cousins and Davis the two big men. Will you know, will they be able to do it? Cavaliers were thinking that when they got Bogan and then he got hurt right away. So I think this is gonna be very very interesting. But um, you see the

Trailblazers Warriors game and listen, listen. I'm glad you brought this up because you know I'm going to pick Golden State to win that series clearly, right. But but you know, Portland is that same kind of team with guys like McCullum and Lillard that can absolutely go off and try to score with them. I think that could be interesting as steal one from a home Golden State. Yeah, I think they can got at Golden State. Can they take one?

I think they can take a game. I do. But ultimately I think what I would love to see, first of all, in the Western Conference. I would love to see you know, Golden State. I don't want to see them against San Antonio though in the Western Conference finals, Okay. I want to see them up against whoever comes out

of this uh Houston, Okay, see matchup. Okay. I want to see them either against seven seconds or less than D'Antoni and the Rockets, who I think are legitimate challenge and have been awesome all season long, or this complete narrative against of Russell Westbrook and the big men trying to beat down the elite Silver Spoon Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals. And you mentioned the Trailblazers, and you mentioned the fantastic guard play from mc column

and Lillard. But my trump card on the Trailblazers is Nurkic acquiring him in the middle of the season. He's been able to do things for them. He's a great passing. People say he's a poor man's jokish, but he's really not. He just happened to be in the same system as joking. He's pretty much the same guy. He's been playing great for them, no doubt. And then we go we look at the Eastern Conference Finals. You know, you gotta figure Lebron gets there. I'm gonna say, I think it's gonna

be against the Toronto Raptors. Okay, I think Boston is on the on the on um, excuse me, that's impossible, because Boston did, in fact take that one seed. I apologize. I think it is going to be Cleveland. I think they're gonna get past it, and unfortunately, I think it's gonna wind up being either Boston or potentially don't sleep on the Washington Wizards, that backcourt of Wall and Beal. But I'm looking for reasons to try to beat Lebron.

It's gonna wind up being Lebron and the Golden State Warriors were in for Round three, and I'm gonna be very excited about it. We're gonna be talking about it though for the next two months because of so much rest. The schedule apparently opens up real big when it comes to the playoffs and it comes to the TV schedule. When we come back here on the Fantasy Freestyle, We're gonna put the fun and functional sports Radio. I'm your boy,

Dame Martinez Speeds the spitting statistician. You're listening to the Fantasy Freestyle on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. You know what it is, boy, Dame Martinez. You're listening to the Fantasy Freestyle here on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Of course, big shout out to all our sports Byline affiliates around the country and with the American Forces Radio Network around the world. I got my boy Donnie Burns with me

on the ones and tools. We're keeping it so hot that we sweat steam here on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. I want to give you a quick update Marcelo Zuna has hit his fourth home run of the year. Marlin's all over the metch early on for nothing. In the second inning, their Reds up on the Brewers one nothing and the Raisin Yankees tied at one in Yankee Stadium

game that was going on in the afternoon. In the fourth inning, we have the White Sox all over the Cleveland Indians in Cleveland, White Sox up seven to one in that one. Uh, let's keep it moving there here on the Fantasy Freestyle, what we do is we put the fun in Functional Sports Radio. We uh, I put up a poll question, Donnie. You know we already talked

about the NBA play off pole question. We got up and thanks to everybody that's following us there on that f n T s Y radio Twitter handle and voting there the other pole question I put up. And if you if you don't listen to the Fantasy Freestyle that regularly, you may not know. But Donnie burns my man, my man with the plan over there, so hot that we sweat steam keep blowing up like a Samsung seven. Maybe we should say, Donnie, it's so hot that we pissed steam.

Because the question has been uh, you know, we're seeing teams actually analyze players urine. The San Francisco Giants, we talked about this yesterday to see if they were they were properly hydrated and you know, can perform at peak performance. So we put up a poll question and the question is, do you think you know kind of this extended analysis of biomechanics and bio rhythms and sleep and diet and

urine is actually an invasion of privacy? Okay, And we got great results right now, thanks to everybody who's voting right now in that fn T s Y radio Twitter handle or you can do it at spitting speeds with me speeds and spitting statistician. Three seven percent of you say, no, it is not an invasion of privacy, that it's all good for, you know, teams to go into this level

of bio analysis. Thirty two of you are saying, yeah, this is And then I find this interesting of you were saying not in the pros because you know, hey, if they're paying you and signing your check, then uh, you know, they could do whatever they want. But thirty one percent of you say it's not a violidation in the pros of privacy, but in the amateurs. It is. So that brings me, Donny to another story I got for you. Are you ready for this one? Don alright? Great? Uh?

The University of Texas football team is also measuring player urine. Okay, Donny, you thought it was crazy that the San Francisco Giants were doing this. Apparently it's sweeping the nation. Okay, University of Texas football is doing this, and check this out. Have it on my Twitter timeline. Um, they put up these charts in their locker rooms showing you the different

color of urination. Right, and apparently like the lighter it is, the better hydrated you are, right, And they they're correlating it interestingly enough to how good of a teammate you are, because they're saying, if you're not properly hydrated, you're actually doing a disservice to your teammates. And they're saying that if you have, you know, the good urine, dad, Um, you're being a great teammate all the way down. If your urine is and I'm learning about this. I'm learning

about this, um. If it's you know, I guess darker than you are in the University of Texas mind being a bad teammate and being a bad guy, and they have these color charts in their locker room. Don this is a real thing. What do you think? I got a few takes on this, all right, fire away for the first one. For the first poll we had ye to these people, I would ask if they're not telling the results to the population. I mean no, it's data

used for so it's like going to a doctor. It's like being any kind of athlete and being in the cup. But don come on, man, Like when you fifteen years ago, when you were like a a college you know, football player, you did not think you'd be submitting to this level of Well that's where I have the problem with the second story, because I have I'm okay with the measuring the density of the pitch or whatever. I don't like

how they have this in the locker room. How if you're a peace lighter that correlates to a bad teammate. You don't like your pressure. Don't like that. It should be behind closed doors. It should be how it was meant to be. They're gonna it's not gonna be telling people these the Yeah, but don't don't they have like you know, don't they have like in the weight room of other colleges, like you know this guy Ben Sivent, same thing, like yo, this guy's p is mad like yo.

That's like that's like you that's releasing like doctor like statement. Okay you can't. It's just interesting, okay, right? What is that? You know, if you're a nurse, if you're a doctor, you can't see us. What is that? Like the hip hop hippo laws, the kind of you know, it's like, uh, what is it? Confidentiality? The hippo laws out there? That's an interesting point, don you know what? Like I told you, Donnie, we're gonna have licensed athletic trainer Thomas Lowe on the

show next week. On the Fantasy Freestyle. He came in, if you remember during the during the football season and were talking about concussions and the pain medications. We're gonna have to ask him about we gotta keep running list here. We're gonna ask him about your in density. We're gonna ask him about these hamstrings, and I want to ask

him about the blood spinning. But here's my real question when it comes to this, Donnie, do you think we can put up one of these urine color charts in the production room here at the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. I'm sure we could. Why don't we do? What do you think would be the best teammate? Who do you think would be the best teammate? How does that? What does if you're hydrated? If you're hydrated, and if you're really well hydrated, Dane, I'm looking down here. We have

a lot of water bottles. I think we got a lot of interesting interesting So I don't know, Donnie, I think we may have to do that. I think we may have to ask our fearless leader, if that's my it's a creative guy. I think, Okay, I think we need to do this. I think we need to do this. If you uh, you know, because you've got nothing else to do? Write downs? Actually ninety different things we're getting, can we Yeah, we need to print out one of these charts. I'm gonna send you. I saw it in

uh it's on my Twitter. I think it's on my Twitter timeline at spitting Speeds. We're gonna print one of these bad boys out. We're gonna slap it up study and maybe yeah, yeah, maybe somewhere here in Studio thirty four, we can get that done. Here in rock and Riley's. You know that sounds good with a million different things. Let's get that peach Art right on the way. That's what I'm saying. Priorities, my friend, priorities. As we say,

we put the fun in functional sports radio. Here on the Fantasy Freestyle, I'm your boy, Dave Martinez Speeds, the spitting Statistician. I got Donnie Burns with me on the ones into so hot that we sweat steam or Donnie so hot that we piss steam. I may have to change it hot to death like Corey Springer. If you want to get at me, hollow might four four eight, four, three six, eight seven nine. Follow us at F and T s Y Radio. You can follow me Dan Martinez

at Spitting Speeds. You know, check this out, Anny. It was the NHL playoffs started last night. Remember we were talking about Icle missing out on his bonus, things of that nature. But check this out. I don't know if you saw the Edmonton Oilers. They in their first home playoff games since two thousand and six. Bro. They lost it over time to the Sharks three to two. But the environment there, because you know, this is Canada's game, right and they're up in Edmonton. The Oilers haven't played

you haven't been in the playoffs for a long time. Um, they're finally there, you know, on the come up with with with the youngsters. And it was a great atmosphere. Okay, it was a great atmosphere. They they were sold out. They even sold eighty dollar seats just to be able to walk around in the concourse, just to be in the building like standing room only. But here's what I want to tell you. I don't know if you saw this, Donny, but they do apparently they do a fifty fifty raffle

every Edmonton Oilers game. Are you familiar with this? I'm not, Okay, So they do a fifty fifty raffle. You buy raffle tickets, right, and then it's fifty fifty, which means half of the pot you get and half the pot goes to you know some charity, Okay, a different charity that they do. It's a really nice thing, you know, talk about sports gambling. I wonder if this is sports betting. We'll talk about

in a second, but check this out. It apparently like rolled over for the last few regular season games in Edmonton. So the winners of this uh fifty Raffle at game one of the first round of the playoffs. There it was three hundred and thirty six thousand dollars don the pot, yeah the pot, and yeah yeah and season ticket holders David and Tanya is then they won this. Okay, they won three hundred and thirty six thousand dollars. Okay, Actually, truth be told, they won three hundred and thirty six

thousand Canadian dollars. That apparently translates here in the good old United States of America. Big shout out to all my American Forces radio network people. Um, that translates to two hundred and fifty four thousand, six hundred and damn right. And here's the best part. Are you ready for this? Are you ready for this? Because somehow you know, I don't know, man, you know our president and taxes who knows, but you know what the Canadian tax laws are when

you win something like this. Apparently it was tax free. I'm saying that they won three thirty six k Canadian money and it was tax free, so they don't have to hide it. Yo, where are we going? Then we got to get tickets the game too, the game to listen. You gotta keep this list Donnie Burns, because now I'm so happy that you're producing, you know, Monday through Thursday at least here on the Fantasy Freestyle. We gotta keep

this running list. We got bets on Ted gin Jr. Remember we're also, uh, you know, we're going to the opening day of the Big Three three on three ice Cube League. Remember we gotta get tickets for that, and we gotta go to some Edmonton Oilers games because we could win that tax free cash. And you know that's what all that's what speed the spitting Statistician is about. But check this out. These guys, this couple, they were they were season ticket holders, Donnie. They entered the Raffle

every game for the last seven years. They said they spent in total over the last seven years, they spent eleven thousand dollars on these Raffle tickets. So I think it's a good thing that they finally won, right, I mean, come on, and that's still that's still big money. So shout out to David and Tanya is then, and I'm telling you, like I think the NHL is at the forefront here. Remember they already have the Vegas Golden Nights

starting next season in the NHL. This is basically sports betting, Like, how is this different than sports betting? You go there and you're putting in forty dollars for a raffle ticket for a chance to win three hundred and thirty six thousands. You know what it is, your boy, Dane Martinez, you're listening to the Fantasy Freestyle on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Want to make a quick update. I told you to Marlins draw all over the Mets where the Mets have

answered back with their own four run inning. It is now four four in the second name and the Milwaukee Brewers have also answered back there now up for one on on the Cincinnati Reds that is in Cincinnati. Um, Donnie, we had a nice little show man. I want to check in on the polls a little bit. Thanks Donnie for giving us all that perspective on the NBA playoffs, which are about to kick off, and by kickoff, I mean tip off this weekend, and you know we checking

it on these polls. We have a new leader in the clubhouse on that poll about what if anything could upset the Apple cart with a repeat of or three peat of the Cavaliers and the Warriors. Right now thirty four percent are saying the Calves defensive struggles, which is now the leading answer. Donnie Burns, I know you said that even their first round matchup against the Pacers could be intriguing, so we'll keep an eye out on that

as the playoffs get going. Of us think the rematch yet again is inevitable, say team play from the Spurs or the Celtics or the Raptors. Nine say that someone like Harden or Westbrook will go absolutely bonkers and take

out either the Calves or UH or the Warriors. And also, you know, we keep on talking about this, analyzing the sleep and the diet and everything, including the urinety seven percent of you right now say it is not an invasion of privacy even at the amateur college levelent of you say that, yes, for college they agree with you, Donnie Burns that in fact, uh, you know, it is an invasion of privacy for amateurs or college students. I

don't know how I would feel about it. Of you saying that it is um you know that it is regardless that you know we shouldn't have to do that, I don't know how I feel. I do think it's very interesting. Last thing I want to tell you guys before we get out of here. Uh. You know, at the end of the regular season, you also have uh top five jersey sales Donnie Burns, Donnie Burns, if you can guess them, it'll be you know, Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook,

Kevin Durant, Lebron James, and of course Stephen Curry. Those are your top five selling jerseys. So here's we're gonna do tomorrow. Tomorrow when we're here, it's gonna be my boy, Chris Bavona in your seat, Donnie burn So we're gonna be talking about all sorts of good things. I want to see what he's got going on on that show. The producers. I hope you have a great holiday weekend. Uh, I'll see you again on Monday. We'll talk about you know, the NBA playoffs has have been gone at that point.

I'm your boy. Dave Martinez speeds and spitting statistician fig Shout out to our Sports Byline and the American Forces Radio Network. Come on back tomorrow. We'll have a little bit more fun. Dave Martinez Fantasy Freestop
