I told you yesterday pirates outfield of Starlin Marte suspended eighty games for performance enhancing drugs. I thought it was interesting though. One uh Twitter reaction I got on Jake Deakman. He's a picture for the Rangers. He actually says, you know, forget getting suspended. The new penalty should be you make the league minimum for the rest of your career. That's

an interesting conversation. I want to have really hit him where it hurts. I've been saying that in this p D it's a risk you take. Even if you get suspended, it doesn't really matter. You signed a six year, fifty five million dollar deal. I don't care if I'm missing Happy Year. I'm still getting paid. So I think this tweet is very interesting. I thought it's interesting that comes

from another player. The Blue Jays. They're gonna start Matt Latos this weekend against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. I'm telling you right now, this guy is a fantasy food gazey. Forget about him. Had a nice little start last year, about two or three starts, then he fell off a cliff. You shouldn't have believed it in the

first place. Don't believe it. This weekend, Carlos Correa is going to miss his fourth straight game, okay, after being hit in the hand with a pitch earlier over the weekend. Here's the thing, though, He's got to return pretty soon.

Right, So you gotta assume that managers now, if they think you're gonna miss six, seven, eight games, you're gonna put him on this ten day And it's not really that big of a deal. So uh expect him to come

back soon. I think Corea by him even himself, is saying he thinks he's available to pitch hit tonight if need be, and that he will start tomorrow's game for Houston. Zach Britton, the All Star potential cy Young closer last year for the Baltimore Orioles, is getting an m R I on his forearm this Friday. At the end of

the week. I don't know. Remember he's already gonna see time on the d L. Brad Brock, who also was an All Star last year as a setup man, which is very to do, especially in the American League when there's already dialing batansis there. He is only fifty six percent owned. And today for the St. Louis Cardinals and their two to one win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, it was Trevor Rosenthal who got the save in a to one game, not Mr Oh the Final Moss as he was known out

there in his Asian days. He um, he does not looked good, So maybe Tresi Rosenthal is somebody to keep an eye on. He hit a hundred and one on the gun today. did he do? Another nice outing six and the third innings only giving up one run only struck out one, but got the qualities start, got the win into two one victory for the Cardinals. The other guy I told you about that I kind of liked if you went down, was Yankee starter Louise Severino. Luis Severino killed it last

night for the first time since nineteen thirteen. And let me tell you something, the Yankees are really like the only stat the only team that could have stats going back to nineteen but he is only the third Yankees pitcher since nineteen thirteen to have back to back starts of ten or more strikeouts and only one or fewer than one walks Propps. My boy, Matt Medeka, I saw him with that stat out there on Twitter today. I

also want to how you if you're looking for saves. Okay, remember I've been talking about I've been talking about the Texas Rangers for a little while and how Sam Dyson has been getting blown up. I think there's an opportunity there in Texas as well. Okay, um Bush is gonna get the first chance to close. But this guy, this guy has had older injuries in the past. Even manager Banister noted that he would not get every safe chance. And what is Kila done. They brought him up on Sunday. On Monday,

he throws one inning, gets a strikeout. Yesterday he throws one inning, gets two strikeouts. This guy has closer stuff. Trust me, if you're in a deep league, keep an eye on double k getting you strikeouts in Texas right now tonight tonight is acetay. Okay, there are plenty of options out there, and like I say, like my man Tony Sincott on the DFS Lineup Block says, you pay for pitching. That is the way you win DFS in Major League Baseball. I always told I used to work with kids in baseball, used to coach baseball. I always told kids that even Hall of famers fail of the time. So why are you gonna pay extra there when you can get that locked and loaded starting pitchers their options today? Kershaw, mad Bum Tanaka, Julio Tehran. Let me tell you who I'm going with, though, I'm going with Houston Astro's Dallas Kaiko at nineties okay, um, I was hurt by Darvish last night.

I must admit I gave you. Darvish is one of the best guys on the board and he did not have a good start. But I like dallas Kaiko. I'm paying up nineties six hundred on FanDuel for dallas Kaiko. I like that he is home. I like that he's going up against the Los Angeles Angels who don't really have and ace. He's going up against J. C. Ramirez. This guy has a seven plus e r A and Yo Kaiko has been nasty and three starts he has

a whip of less than zero point seven. This guy, in his three starts, at least on FanDuel scoring has gotten forty three, thirty four, forty nine points. I would roll out Dallas and save a little money. Down from Kerr, shot down from Madison, Bump Gardener tonight. The other guy. Remember before he wanted to trade him, they said he would pretty much take any pick. As the Cleveland Browns continue to accumulate picks to try to get young talent, John Gruden

did his quarterback camp. I told you about that, with the Watson one and the Trabinsky one. He has actually said now he thinks pit quarterback Nate peterban is the most NFL ready says, because he's coming from a pro offense has the communication um. He said that on a conference called grouped him in the same group with Watson Trabinsky and Patrick Mahomes, which is going up the boards at a rapid pace. Remember I told you Bill O'Brien in the Houston Texans seemed to love Patty Maholmes. Keep

an eye on that. At the tail end of the first round. We have chosen a team for Hard Knocks on HBO. Remember last year where it was the Rams moving from St. Louis to Los Angeles. Jared Goff didn't know if the sun rises where the sun rose and set with people didn't believe in dinosaurs. Well, this year we're gonna hear a lot about from Jamis Winston. It's gonna be the Tampa Bay Bucks on Hard Knocks on HBO.

I love watching that show. I'll be tuning in. I love how in the summertime HBO they do Hard Knocks. They also do Ballers with the rock really prime the pump, get people ready for football. Ryan Fitzpatrick says he wants to keep on playing. However, he thinks he'll have a clear picture of his options after the draft see if any teams will want his services. There there's a couple of available quarterbacks out there. Maybe we'll do a poll question a little bit later on in the week, Donnie,

what do you think? Because I mean, there's Fitzpatrick, there's Cutler out there, there's Kaepernick still out there, there's r G three out there. I wonder which of these guys people would want most for their team. James White has signed a three year extension with the New England Patriots. The Patriots now have a crowded backfield. Donnie. Remember I said at the very beginning of the week that Lea Garrett Blunt need to put pen to paper and sign

that while they still could already this week. Now the Patriots signed Mike gillies Ley to an offer sheet. They lock up James White, you know there, I mean, now there's there's I don't know if there's any seats left when the music stops from Mr LGBT. And as we have mentioned, and we had at the top of the hour, Aaron Hernandez was found dead in his cell. The twenty

year old, apparently a suicide. He was serving life without parole for the murder of Old and Loyal Old and Lloyd Um only twenty seven, does have a four year old daughter named Avil. And it was interesting juxtaposition today as the Patriots visited the White House and Donald Trump first time Donald Trump hosted a team that won their championship since he was elected president. Um, you know we've already seen pictures of the crowd size. I'll leave it

at that. Also, though, when the Patriots visited the White House today, Trump talked about a letter that Bill Belichick wrote him where uh he uh when when Belichick found out that it was going to be used in a campaign switch. Trump says today that he actually quote unquote toned it up instead of toning it down with his praise for the president when he knew that, um, he

would be using it in a campaign stop. Bill Belichick later clarified said that his letter to uh President Trump was not political and mentioned that you know he had uh Secretary John Kerry also in the locker room, that both these guys are just his friend. However, Gronk had another grade day. Um Gronk crasped Sean Spicer's press briefing, asking him if he needed help and what was a one of a few lighthearted moments with the West Hidest

White House Press Corps keeping a moving though. One of the things I did ask on my poll is what was your first reaction when you heard this news this morning about Aaron Hernandez? And I think it's really interesting. My options were, Donni. Um, the options were any death saddens me because you know, listen, I'm not here trying to celebrate that this happened. But at the same time, he was serving life for murder, and he was, you know, potentially um connected to they say, up to a dozen

other murders. So the other option was saving the taxpayer's money or uh. The third option, which, to be honest, is what I found my self thinking originally, which was I'm not I'm honestly not sure, Donnie. I'd love to hear your thoughts, but do you know what the people are saying so far? I would probably guess the taxpayer one, but I'm not sure sure sure? So right now, yes are saying we're saving the taxpayer's money, but thirty agree with me that they are not actually sure. How do

you feel about this? I'm easily going with the first one out. There's a lot of cynical people out there, so actually, and some people don't even know, like didn't follow the you know, the everything that was going on and stuff, and they're kind of celebrating it when at the same time, the law has things instilled for people to go to death row when it's necessary, which he wasn't. He was in life. He was in jail for life.

I mean, I don't celebrate any kind of death, and especially because he has a four year old daughter who's gonna go up without a dad, and it's just it's not a good look to, you know, celebrate that. No, I understand, I understand it only and you know, of our listeners though I told you sometimes they sometimes I listen to surprise me. Uh, you know, our listeners love cops all the way to the elite eight of the TV Greatest of All Time tournament are our listeners. Agreed

with Derek Carr yesterday, So you never know. But here on the Fantasy Freestyle is a place where your voice can be heard. Another story that I'm interested in as we keep it moving here on speed to Cipher on the fantasy freestyle. You know, I don't know if you heard this, Donnie, but they

are considering making up the umpires. Was Major League Baseball when they go into the you know, when they go into the hood basically to do instant replay. And I don't understand why this is a an issue. I don't understand why this is a big conversation topic, Like it's a big deal to put the microphones on umps. We hear we hear NFL referees all the time. We hear NBA referees all the time. You know, this is just gets me going in terms of like the fan experience

and trying to bring young people into the game. Maybe we need to hear the explanations of you know, fair or foul or what that means if it was a ground rule double or we're fan interference. I think that's what we really need to I don't understand why this is a big deal. I'm glad the Major League Baseball is considering implementing this real quick started at the All Star Game and moving forward, But it got me thinking,

and I saw a poll on Twitter. Also, I think it was Jason Stark that was asking for input, but straight up from millennials asking people, you know, like ages, say eighteen, the thirty five and that quality. And you qualify, right, Donnie Burns, You're one of our millennials, and they were asking people, you know, what would it do, what would it take to get young people once again interested in Major League Baseball? So I have that pole question up there as well, and I got a couple of options.

One is like, maybe put in a pitch clock. A lot of people think that in action in baseball is an issue, right maybe put it in a pitch clock, or maybe limit the amount of mountain visits you can have, you know, right now, especially in the late innings, people are just going so many trips to the mountain that takes a lot of time. Or is it in the way major League Baseball is covered? You know, right now you have MLB tonight, but there's nothing like the red

zone in NFL, you know. And also a lot of people talk about how MLB dot d tv is a bad streaming service and people have issues with that. What if they really made that, you know, state of the art where you could stream it all the time, and even on MLB you're hearing more people talk about the games than actually seeing the live action. What if they really revamped that? Or and you're gonna laugh when I say this at first? Or is it tied? Is it

really tied to the video games? When I think about games like Madden, When I think about games like FIFA, those and what really blew up, you know, kind of for kids and their interests in those sports of football and soccer. There used to be an e a sports game for baseball called m v P Baseball. It was the bomb, but it lost its license. I believe it was two thousand and five and and and I really think video games could be another way. Donny, you said you want to get in on this. You think as

you're a guy who is a millennial. Wait a second, your a guy who is a millennial. That's not super it. Basically that's why I want to get in and kind of talking about the young talent and the MLB, and like I said, I don't watch too much of it, but a lot of the young talent is really good. A lot of the shorts, yeah, a lot of the shortstops, like you guy said, are becoming more athletic. The thing I think they need to change stuff off for me

still is it's it's still really slow. So like when you're talking about coming to the noun, you know what I mean, that's yeah, that's honestly like I would pick that, like the mL BE, the show, the video games those are still pretty good. Like I'll even play those and I'm not a baseball guy. It's just speed up the game a little bit because the talent, the young talent, it's fantastic talent is definitely there. You're absolutely right with

I feel like the game is in great shape. But how are you gonna put it on to these youngsters that are out there or these millennials that are out there? Check it out. We have a poll though right now. Okay, they hired Lynda Livingston as their new president, first woman president in the university's history. You may remember that Baylor has been going under through scandal at many levels for

the last few years. Check this out. I really don't shouldn't say anything other than this if their football players have been charged with fifty two rapes over the last four years with Art Briles as their head coach, talk about a horrible culture, something that was institutionally poor. The president last president, Ken Starr yep, that Ken Star from

the Bill Clinton days. He was demoted and ultimately replaced on an interim level after like saying, the university didn't do anything wrong, they didn't really know how to handle this. So listen, I think it's great that they brought in Lynda Livingston. Hopefully she's gonna be able to, you know, bring some accountability in there. But I do wonder do you think they just had to find a woman for this role? And and and the other question is if I was a woman, would I want this job really

cleaning up kind of the mess? Do I want to be just you know, what could be known as the token woman in there to just put a good pr face on this. I do think a culture change needs to happen at Baylor. I'm glad that they're moving in a different direction. I just still I wonder if this was there was a little pr here, if they really thought that they must find a woman for this role. Linda Livingston is respected returning the bailor. I think it's

a great fit. I think it's a great higher I just do a little wonder a little bit about that. As the D block takes us out to break, we're gonna come back. Carmelo apparently got a dancer pregnant. That is the news that we are hearing. I'm seeing pictures yesterday from TMZ Sports, both of them not wearing their rings. I think it's kind of interesting. Donnie Burns, you know, you never would have thought like in hockey. How they have a plus minus. You would have never thought that not only would Mellow not get a ring with New York, but that he would actually go down one ring through his time in New York. But it looks like that's gonna happen when

he splits up with La La. But here's the thing that I don't get. How do you get the dancer pregnant? You know? I mean, come on, guys, come on, I mean, doesn't Mellow know that he's a public figure. Doesn't he know about all this? I I'm not so sure about this. I kind of think that Melo just wants a complete reset and reasons to get out of here. Uh So, I think there's more in this story to come. You know.

I don't think that I I think that mellow to be quite honest, even if he's you know, I am not endorsing him cheating on his wife and by any way, shape or form, but I do think he'd be smart enough to to not get the girl pregnant. Says he is lighter than he usually is, lost some weight in the off season, and you'll never guess to what he attributes his weight loss. He says, he just cut out the chipotle in his diet. That's all he needed to do, was cut out the chipotle in his diet. And he also says that the reason he cut out the chipotle

in his diets because now he's a married man. He's a married man. He married his his girlfriend, Alice Pollard in the off season, and he now says, and I quote now I gotta ring and these home cooked meals, so Golden Tape maybe eating a little bit healthier, Um, you know, good for Golden Tate. You know I need Golden Tate to come out big because uh, he's in

that Jim Bob Cooter offense. If you listen to the Fantasy Freestyle, if you listen to speeds and spitting statistician, you know that I love the Detroit Lions because they are led by Jim Bob Cooter. So maybe now Golden Tate a little bit healthier, a little bit leaner as

he enters the veteran years of his career. So I don't know if you saw this, Donnie Burns, but uh, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez are apparently an item. Okay, they are apparently together a Rod and j Lo, you know, in in a relationship that needs kind of an abbreviation itself.

If it's a Rod and j Low, maybe the relationship needs one of those names like benefer or things of that nature. But they're on vacation. They're on vacation, and that's nice. That's nice. They went to Dominican Republic, makes sense, you know, Jenny from the block, a Rod repping multiple nationalities with the World Baseball Classic. He could he could play for anybody. They're in the Dominican Republic. They're in a place called Casa de Compo. It's a beautiful resort

in the Dominican Republic. They are paying ten thousand dollars a night for a six bedroom villa beautiful, right on the beach. Beautiful. Here's the thing, This casta, the campo, this entire like resort is owned by Mark Anthony, j Lo's X. Yeah, right, they're vacationing villas. I'm not I'm not done, Donnie. I'm not done, Donnie. Apparently, over the weekend, j Lo and Mark Anthony rehearsed together while A Rod watched.

That's a Rod is looking into maybe buying portions of this, like the villa that they're staying in, part of this resort. I don't know, man, I think that's a little too close for comfort. A Rod and j Lo kind of ballsy, huh that you don't bring your X around you? Right, you're my love doctor, now somebody you're the love doctor. So you don't the girl and all that stuff. Right? You know about this? You don't, you don't You don't think this is a little bit a little weird. Oh yeah,

I think it's totally You don't. Not only is it weird, bad idea, it's a bad idea, right, So let me ask you this though, donn here's the real question. Here's the real question. Do you think whose ego was being stroked here? You know what I'm saying. Do you think it's a rod being like, yeah, I'm a buy or I'm a buy your condo? X man, I don't care. Yeah, you can rehearse my girl, I don't care. Or is it j Lo's ego? Is it j los ego? Like, yeah, I got both of these men. I had you, I

had you. It's all good. Whose ego is really being stoked here? At the most, it's a good question, right, I'm a journalist here. That's why I been statistation asking the tough questions. You think it? Did Mark Anthony know they were coming? Yeah? I guess so they were used together. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know bad that this one's a weird one because many of them were like okay

with it. I think there's always one person that you could pick out, like it's a triangle, right, and I feel like all three of them were like, oh, this is pretty cool. I think it might be a stroke to all of their he goes. Maybe, Donnie, I think we might have I think we might have a poll question. I think we might have a poll question for tomorrow. Okay, and what do you think about this Mellow dancing thing? Like my thing. I'm a little skeptical of this news.

I think this could be pr a little bit because you think Mellow actually was dumb enough to get the girl pregnant. No, I think they're just kind of feeding it to what's going on with Phil Jackson. Right, so, just all the more reason why Mellow needs to leave

Donnie at the Sara Sota Open, a tennis tournament down there in Florida. Okay, there was no match. I can't even pronounce these guys, Francis Tifo and Mitchell Krueger. They were in an a TP you know, an ATP tournament down there, The Sarah Sota Open has nothing to do with them. Check this out.

They had to delay the match because there were sounds of love making, and at first the announcer. At first, the announcer thinks that the sounds of love making where someone ring with someone's ring tone. But then later on he tweeted big shout out to the couple that was, you know, like in the hotel a block away across the street. They were making noise so loud that everyone in the tennis arena heard, and it delayed the match. Love Doctor what say you? These are too good life

because I'm not normally speech. But that's what I do. I rendered you speech this Jack, And here's what I want to know. I think this is actually potentially a very tactful move by the broadcaster, because what's he gonna do say right off the bat? Oh so at first he says that it was someone's ring tone, and then later on on Twitter being like shout out to them because he didn't want to do it live on the coverage. Huh. I think that is solid, solid journalism. Let's and I
