Week 10: It's Too Soon For Turkey!

Is this officially nut cutting time? And who goes around cutting nuts anyway? I mean, other than like secans or something like that. Maybe I don't know, I mean you cut them. Maybe can't you just eat the whole thing? I think that maybe to get the shell off you must cut the shell. And so so I mean it, it's pecan pie season rights, so that means it's so it's not cutting time to get ready for your pecan pies. I'd rather have the pecan pie than the pumpkin pie. Delicious.

The nutcutter sounds like the horror version of the Nutcracker. I'd rather go to the Rocky Horror. Over the course of the show, you will find nine players upon whom you can take a chance. We'll answer three tough questions, will premature speculation, and we'll break down every game fantasy style, beginning with the Eagles taking on the Giants. Brian, we're finally going to see the Eagles offense. We were promised in the preseason. It's only taken ten weeks to get here.

But we've got everybody healthy. Unless you're denying Zach existence, but yes, So let's start with Miles Sanders, who will make his return, and more importantly, or is of equal importance. Right tackle Lane Johnson should also make his return for the Eagles. But I mean give Sanders a cautious be here, but there is a upside uh. These teams, by the way, played in Week seven, not long ago. We'll we'll reference that Matt up for sure. Sanders had not playing that

first meeting. The Philly Backs, who were led by Boston Scott, total six eight rushing yards on sixteen carries and fifty eight receiving yards on seven catches. That's probably a floor for Sanders and this one on paper not a great matchup. Tho, the Giants have held the posing running backs to less than three point nine yards per carry this year, so B for Sanders again, but there is a upside here

based on volume odd to the past game. I'm gonna start with Dallas Goddard, give him a B. The Giants have been pretty good against tight ends, allowing allowing these seventh fewest catches and fifth fewest touchdowns to the position. Goddard has yet to score in four career games against

New York so far. But Dick rod Ricord Richard Rogers, back up to the backup Philly tight end, had six catches for eighty five yards against these Giants in Week seven, So I'm giving Goddard to be Now to the receiving game, which is all of a sudden, very muddied. The waters are very muddy, too much talent shock full of wide resus eivers now when they had none. We'll start with Travis Fulgum, who has earned the right to be called

Philly's wide receiver one right now. Did pretty well in the first meeting, five catches for seventy three yards, primarily draped in James Bradberry throughout that game. The Giants top corner. But Philly has more weapons now that might take some of that burden off Fulgham, so gonna get Fulghum a safe sea here as well as Jalen Reagor saw six targets in his first game back. That was in Week eight. By the way, Philly is coming off thereby scored a

touchdown in that game. The Giants have surrendered a wide receiver touchdown in four straight games, and that includes the Eagles game. The touchdown went to Greg Ward, who was the secondary receiver at the time. That is now Jalen Reagor. So safe c for Reagor as well, and Alishan. Jeffrey is gonna make his season debut. I'm not gonna give him a grade here, but we might talk about him a little later in the show. And lastly, for Philly, Carson Wentz bench grade a bench grade for Jef. I

refused to give Alshan a grade of any kind. That's right, especially D. I will not give him. You make you make guests every care with al Sean. Give a player at D on this show. But Carson Wentz be the voices. The masses have spoken. They don't want the D. The letter grade, the D letter grade. We'll see. I don't know I want it. Don't you want it? Man? Frankly, you you brought it that YouTube do not matter. Carson Wentz not a B or A. D Wins gets a B three fifty nine and two passing in week seven,

also added a rushing touchdown this time around. He basically has all his weapons back outside of zach ERTs, so a safety for Carson Wentz over to the Giant side. Not allow to talk about Davante Freeman a k A DeVante Seamer. You go. He's been placed on I R so he will not be playing. So Wayne Gallman and Alfred Morris left in the Giants backfield. I got him both on the bench though Philly holding opposing backs under three point four yards per carry, allowing just a hundred

and eleven combo yards per game to the position. You can go. Gallman if very desperate, but I don't expect much from him. Darius Slayton not gonna expect much from him either. He's on the bench, only two catches for twenty three yards in the first meeting. He should see a ton of Darius slay again, who has returned to for him. So Slayton is on the bench for me,

but Sterling Shepherd is not. He scored in the first meeting, also had six catches for yards, his best game of the year, and in the three games since he has seen double digit targets twice. Golden Tate also scored, but he heard his knee scored in the first game, heard his knee in practice, and he's in the doghouse because

of his wife, so he's on the bench. Tate is, but Shepherd gets a B. He will be uh in the slot where I'll see Nickel Robie Coleman, an old friend of the show who was allowing a pass the rating of a hundred and twelve in his coverage. And the last Giant who gets a starting grade is Evan Ingram six forty six in the first meeting, basically hit

his floor there. He's averaging roughly six catches and fifty nine yards against the Eagles over his career, who are also allowing the third most receptions and touchdowns to tight ends this season. So a B for Angram and Daniel Jones on the bench. This was the stumble game where he fell on that. Yeah, we tackled himself. We're not gonna rushing yards like he had in the first meeting. He did have two passing touchdowns with just a hundred and eighty seven yards, but Jones on the bench ye

and pretty much every week. Unfortunately, I was hoping for better this year. Let's move over to the Jaguars taking on the Packers. Matt Weather, it could be a serious issue here this game. If you believe the early forecast, it appears this game looks a lot like that Viking game from two weeks ago where neither team could pass. Yeah, and I mean there's still some some pretty good offensive numbers put up in that game by running back by

a few guys. I would like to note randomly, I went to a Jaguars at Packers game in Lambeau Field where Byron Leftwich beat the Packers. You're an experts, so there's nobody better than me to this matchup right here. Let's start with James Robinson of the Jaguars. I'm giving him a solid B grade in this one. The Vikings showed the recipe for beating the Packers in Lambeau in this weather run at them all day long, and since Robinson is a clear bell cow averaging twenty one touches

per game, he's got a shot. The Packers have had issues against bell cow running backs every runner who has had at least sixteen carries against Green Bay has recorded two touchdowns in a game or more, and Alvin Kamara did not hit that number with the rushing attempts, but he scored twice through the air against Green Bay in

a game where he had nineteen touches. So the only reason he's not an a the game script just might get away from the Jaguars in this one, Jake Lewton, although the game script gets away from the Jaguars in almost every game, and he's the game script has already left the Jaguars. They haven't even got to Green Bay yet. They are improv there's no script. They're like whose line is it? Anyway of the NFL while their points don't matter.

That's true, uh, Jake Lewton, he's on your bench. Who had half to be a really deep two quarterback or super flex league to start looting? To his credit, he did beat the Texans for three four yards and a score last week. But the Packers aren't thrown on a bunch. They're averaging only thirty one pass attempts per game, which translates to an average of two or fifty yards against

and just over a passing score. So Luton's on the bench and the only receiver of his I'm going to give a starting grade two is dj Chark, who only gets a C. He's going to get the solo coverage from JayR Alexander. Although let's know there's a chance Alexander doesn't go in this one, and he's shaping up closer to a game time decision. Well, that would would help a little bit help, That might bump him up to uh, something between a CE something like that. Solid be a

liquid be. You'd definitely be a liquid be if the Alexander is out. That is solid B movement for DJR. Let's continue. The game script does favor the Packers getting up early in this one, and then Chart should see double digit targets like he did last week with Luton. He converted those into seven catches a hundred and forty six yards in a score that included a seventy three yard touchdown strike. And it was clear if you look back at this game, Luton only wanted to throw it

to Chark. It was like, oh, that's my guy. Okay, he did throw to one other guy though Chris Conley randomly, uh, And there's no consistency from week to week outside of Chark on this team, Um, everybody's getting to three targets except Chris Connley, who had eight targets last And Connley is gonna start this game with UM with Laviska out, so Conny will be on the field again a lot.

And he wouldn't see jaire Alexander. You and if Alexander goes a little known fact real quick, Chris Connolly, this is the state of the Jaguars, by the way, is a captain of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Yes, I saw the patch for myself. What didn't Chris Conley play for Wisconsin. It's just I think he did see if that rafted by the Chiefs, we know that. I'll look into all right, Davante Adams. Let's go over to the other side. He's easily,

Oh Church, we gotta get the art Vark. Sound so owned out because Davante Adams is easily the art Vark this week, whether weather permitting. Hey guess what. He scored a handful of touchdowns in that game against the Vikings, weather permitting. So Chris Connelly went to University of Georgia. He's also not aren in Wisconsin. He was born in at in cure Lack Air Base in Turkey, so it's not at homecoming. Tricky for him to have the hole. What if he plays on Thanksgiving in the future, Remember

that is like the ultimate, that's the Thanksgiving game. Wow, I'm glad. We're glad we got that settled. Uh, Aaron, we do not have We do not have a turkey of all the animals that we now have on this thing. No, we don't have. We do not have a turkey in the system right now. Brianne is Brianne is feverishly looking for a feverishly um. Aaron Rodgers is also getting an easy A grade. The Jaguars rank dead last in the league in Football Outsiders passing d v o A. Let's

talk about his other receivers. Alan Lazard might return this week. He's been practicing, but the Packers don't need to activate him until next week. And I believe he was Churches premature speculation last week correct well, and he was Scott Scott Fishes the week before that. He's not gonna play here, so use him one more time this week. We could, but you probably want to pick him up. He did make the trip to San Francisco last week and has been practicing in a limited fashion. But I imagine that

the Packers are going to exercise caution. They don't need him to beat the Jaguars, you think, And it sounds like the plan is not to use Alan Lazard here. Yeah, and if he's not active, I think I'd give Marquees Veldez Scantling a C start dart in this one. That's the Chris Conley key right there. You know what's going to happen next week. Gonna sit down in front of all of our sounders here and there a turkey. But

we should just label at Chris Conley, all right. Um. Robert Touny in he gets a C grade, but he was added to the injury report on Friday and was very limited in practice with an ankle injury, and he basically pitched a goose egg last week. He's done very little since Davante Adams return from injury. But I do like him this week because the Jags are allowing the third most yards and almost a touchdown per game to the tight end position. If he doesn't go, I think

I'd throw a dart at Jace Sternberger. Yeah, let's hope Let's hope it doesn't come to that. Let's hope not. When we come back, take a chance on me. Nine players not normally in your starting lineup. These are all guys that you'll want to start this weekend. Many of them are are going to be available in the waiver wire for you to pick up if you decide you want to go that route. We'll tell you who those nine players are when we come back to Fantasy Football Weekly.

Welcome back Fantasy Football Weekly. Brian Johnson, Matt Harrison with you. This is take a chance on me. We begin with three quarterbacks available on the waiver wire in most cases that you can start. This week. We begin with Brian Johnson. I put on for my city Drew Lock again. Baby. I'm going back to the well came through last week. It was it was. It looked bad for a long time. Maybe finishes like QV three on the week, So I'll take it and I have like his chances again this

week at Las Vegas. Aside from the Raiders Typhoon game in Cleveland a couple of weeks ago, they've allowed at least passing yards and multiple touchdowns in four straight games. Lock should stay upright for the most part. Vegas is bottom five in sack percentage and quarterback hit rate, and this game should be a shootout. The over under is fifty point five, and each of Denver's last three games went north of eight. Sorry, fifty eight points a lot, a hell of a lot, Drew luck. All right, Matt,

you'll take a chance at the quarterback. What time is it. It's two o'clock. It's two o'clock. Ye to A looked really good against the Cardinals last week. I thought he looked good. People, Okay, sorry, I'll take that. I'll take that really off. Their hyperbole has gone a little too far onto his game. Well, he led the Fins to the second win and as many starts as a rookie quarterback, and they haven't really let him cut loose with the

offense yet. They've played things pretty simple, close to the vest. But as he continues to feel comfortable, I think the Dolphins will feed him more of the playbook. And I think that's this week when he plays a Chargers defense that people think is pretty legit. But they've allowed twenty nine points or more in each of their last five games, and each of those five quarterbacks has either topped three

yards thrown for multiple scores or both. Plus with both of these teams sporting rookie quarterbacks and a severely injured running game, I think this is one of those air raid games that to a and air bear go after each other. That's the one. Oh yeah, baby, Now that's a real that's a real animal. Listen, turkeys, that's a that's the kind of animal. Definitely not a Sad Trombone. Nick Foles has been so lackluster. If Sad Trombone Ski, there we go wealthy. We would be talking about Sad

Trombone Ski in this spot. But no, it's Nick Foles instead. Um, he's folds to struggle badly and other normal circumstances. I don't recommend him. But the Vikings are expected to be missing up to four cornerbacks on Monday night. They always are. They always even have that many cornerbacks to be missing. Cornerbacks one, three, four, and five are all expected to be missing this game. And as great as Mike Jimmer, Zimmer has done with just scotch taping this set in,

they'rea together sooner or later. You can't keep trotting out fifth stringer, six stringer, seventh stringers, against guys as good as Allen Robinson. So I think here it catches up with the Vikings to some degree, and they have They have given up pretty big passing games pretty universally. So this is an opportunity for Nick Foles. Let's go to the running back position. Brian, I like that Jimmer for debt Frudian slip there. Like Mike Jimmer, I got Leonard

four Nett at Carolina. Now, the timeshare in the Tampa Bay backfield has been pretty frustrating this season, but over the last three weeks, four Nett has seen twice as many snaps as Ronald Jones. He is the proven third down pass catching back. The Panzo Panthers have allowed the most receptions in the fifth most receiving yards to running backs. Carolina also allows nine seven rushing yards and a rushing

touchdown per game two running backs. And oh yeah, Leonard Fournette had one hundred plus rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns when these teams met in Week two. And Ronald Jones is just bad. We'll talk more about him later in the show, just about how bad he is. Okay, sounds good. Your take a chance to me. Running back Matt If we want to talk about bad, let's talk

about Klin Blage. That is an excellent segue right there. Um. Klin Blage now plays for the Chargers, and in his Chargers debut last week, he was the lead back after Justin Jackson went down with an injury in the opening seconds of the game. Blage ended up with seventeen touches eighty four total yards in a score. Not a soul in the entire world saw any of those fantasy points.

There's not one person. This week, he faces a Dolphins defense that is allowing four point six yards per carry on the season and was ranked the nine ranked rushing defense by Football Outsiders d v o A. Also, Kyle van Noy and Christian Wilkins were placed on the COVID list and won't play this week. And oh, by the way, there's beef here. This is really a personal revenge game right here. The Dolphins traded Blage to Adam Gaze and the Jets for a bag of donuts earlier this year.

Then Balash failed the physical was sent back to Miami. That had to be awkward, yes, and then the Jets ended up cutting him. Now he gets to face off against his old team. Oh, and he gets the Adam Gaze boost. Yes, the I've left Adam Gaze, so everybody gets better. I'm going with J. D. Mick kiss Yes. I at this point, I I think I just gotta call him. Do would you like to do an apology? I gotta kiss up to make kiss it would? I know you're a listener, Okay, I apologize for the inhumane

treatment you've received. Maybe you gave him the motivation he needed on a week tweak basis. It's a good point because he saw a scalding of the snaps last week, establishing an instant rapport with a new starter, Alex Smith. Catching nine of fourteen targets last week for sixty five yards. They were all season highs with Alex Smith. He should be able to keep it going against a Lions defense that has been torched by opposing runners through the air.

They're allowing the fourth most receiving yards, the most receiving touchdowns per game to the position, with back scoring receiving touchdowns in three of the last four against Detroit. J D. Mick kissing, let's go to the receivers, Brian, take a chance of me white out Cleveland's Rochard Higgins at home against the Texans. UH only one catch for Richard on three targets in Cleveland's first full OH B J less game,

but that was the monsoon game against the Raiders. Is not going to read too much into that and the three games prior where Beckham was healthy for two and a half of them, Higgins either scored a touchdown or topped a hundred yards in all three. Houston is allowing one and seventy plus yards per game to wide receivers. They've already surrendered thirteen touchdowns to the position, that is

second most. So I like me some Richard Higgins this week. Okay, bat, how about Mike Gassicki, who's by the way, fifty owned in ESPN leagues, which I can't why at this point. It's a tight end waste land out there, and I kind of like Gasicki here. Last December, Mike Gasicki was the tight end darling of the of the league. And I think we're gearing up for another one of those because last year Preston Williams got hurt in Week nine and went on I R just like he did this year.

From Week ten on, Ghisicky became the de facto second passing option on that team and averaged over seven targets per game. This week, he gets a Chargers defense that has allowed five touchdowns to the tight end position in just the last five weeks. Mike Gassicky, go pick him up. Remember last December when Gisicky and Higbee were they blew up in December. We all roll into, you know, roll into the next season. Like those guys. You know they're young,

they're both of them are on the waiver wire. They've both been awful this year. Josh Reynolds has an uninspired, tired play, but he's on the field seventy eight percent of the team snaps. I am interested in any carbon based life form that is on the field for sent of a team snaps against the worst past defense in NFL history. How bad is Seattle? The Seahawks are on pace to give up one thousand more passing yards than

the next worst past defense of all time. Seattle allows two d eighty passing yards to wide receivers, sixty more than the next worst team. They're giving up a staggering twenty two receptions just to the wide out position, worst in the league, and Josh Reynolds has scored in two of the last three games, three out of the last four. Josh Reynolds. Here we go. I think it. I think it all makes sense. Those some solid Reynolds wrap right there. Oh why didn't I think of that? I guess next next,

next week. There's always a chance for somebody to wrap their Josh Reynolds. I want to hear you drop some bars. You do the beatbox Brian Ravens take on the Patriots. Let's begin with Lamar Jackson. This passing offense has not been good. He hasn't top two touchdown passes in a game since the opener. And even though Joe Flacco, of all people, just roasted the Patriots secondary, don't let recency bias make you forget that New England had gone three

weeks without allowing a passing touchdown before that. Now, Stephon Gilmour probably misses this game, and that means to me Jackson is a pretty safe start. But I'm in a note here. The Patriots are allowing just fifteen quarterback rushing yards per game, so there is the opportunity for a major flop here for Lamar Jackson, but he usually finds his way to a decent not explosive game, so we have just to be grade for Lamar Jackson his receivers.

Marquis Brown gets a C grade. New England said, can there is a lot of one yard receiver in three of the past four games, again mostly with Gilmore out and has they just surrendered a multi touchdown game to Brochard Payriman. Brown lines up on the right side most often where he will face J. C. Jackson in coverage, who allowed two scores in his coverage last week. So C grade for Marcus Brown. He's been a touchdown dependent receiver to this point. What Mark Andrews, speaking of the

tight end waste land he's contributed, he has had. Out of the eight games so far, he's had three good games and five that have been straight up disaster grade games. He's the guy you're not going to see on many playoff teams at this rate based on his ADP. He's completely touchdown dependent well, and he's still the eighth ranked tight end in the league right now, which is which

says a lot about the tight end position. Andrews recorded just two catches for twenty one yards against the Patriots last season, in a game in which the Ravens scored thirty seven points. He had twenty one scoreless yards. Andrews commands a thirty five percent share of the Ravens targets in the red zone, good good for third most league wide. So hopefully you'll pay off in a touchdown. And that's a C grade for Mark Andrews. Now, everybody else is on the bench that you might be tempted to start,

including the running backs. Mark Ingram practiced on Friday, and it looks like we're back to one of the league's messiest rotations. Over the last four games, the Patriots have given up per game averages of a hundred thirty six rushing yards and one and a half scores and five yards per carry to running back. So there's something will probably get done here. But when you split that up three ways, it's hard to feel confident about any of

the three. J. K. Dobbins in particularly not chipping in with the receptions like we thought he might, and nobody else is really getting him either, and he's been held under thirty four yards in five of the last six games. I've got them all on the bench, all right, let's go to Let's go to the Patriots side, where I've only got a couple of starters for you, Cam Newton. His is the rare rushing his quiz the rare rush

touchdown dependent quarter back. He's a running back playing quarterback. Basically, yes, um, we're not going to chase last week's two rushing touchdowns because he's not playing the Jets. The Ravens are only allowing sixteen quarterback rushing yards per game, although three quarterbacks have found the end zone against the Ravens. And that's I guess why he's getting a C grade here for the hopeful the rushing score. His passing is awful and

the Ravens are a very good past defense. Who his arms gonna you just get a bonus on whatever his arms chip in? Uh. If he's gonna throw anything, it'll go to Jacoby Myers. Myers will face Marcus Peters most often, and while Peters has been inconsistent, it's still not a terribly favorable matchup here. The Ravens have allowed the eighth

fewest yards to wideouts and the third fewest touchdowns. Myers runs from the slot a little bit, and if Marlon Humphrey can't go due to the COVID protocol, he's trying to get through that gives Myers a glimpse of hope, and that's why I've got a C grade on him. You know, Myers hasn't done anything at all this year on days where it wasn't his birthday. That's really a very birthday dependent wide receiver Jacoby Myers. And lastly, C grade on Damien Harris, and it's barely to see he's

dealing with a knee injury. Looks like he's gonna play. Aside from one long mile Sanders run, Baltimore is held every back under seventy two rushing yards, Harris doesn't catch and his quarterback steals his goal line looks so you know, it's a C grade for the sixties scoreless guards that I expect him to get in this game. James White

is on the bench. Baltimore has mostly handled other past catching specialists niakem Hinz twenty yards last week, Boston Scott five yards, j D Mkissic forty yards, Kareem Hunt nine yards through the air. That's it. They've only given up one touchdown two running backs through the air this year, that's all. And that's why you're not gonna start James White in this game. When we come back Houston takes

on Cleveland. You'll find out about Duke Johnson's chances as the likely starter for the Texans as he goes up against Cleveland. Did he used to play for the Browns? Media? Yeah, I have one coming out next week for Thanksgiving and the Thanksgiving games, all three games in all three games in one tidy little sheet for you and your family to play it Thanksgiving. Even if you're not able to see your family this year, print them off it. Do it from Afar. It's something

to keep you guys together. I'm in fantastic um. Anything that means that I don't have to talk to my family, I think is a bonus. Well, and it forces you to watch more football. If people say, Paul, come through the dishes, you go, I gotta keep score on this game over here. Yeah, I have to watch football. Houston takes on Cleveland, and it looks like David Johnson will not clear the concussion protocol in time to participate in

this game. So Duke Johnson, coming off the heaviest workload of his entire career, goes back to Cleveland where it all began. Yeah, the heaviest workload was sixteen carries and that was only the fifth time in his career that he's seen double digit carries for Duke Johnson, So this is like uncharted bell cow Territory, remember doing Isaiah Crowle was stealing his touches. That's right, I forgot. We changed the changed changed the cow bell down to one bell

It's like how it's the literal bell. Duke control the bell a couple more times than that. It's not an amazing matchup. The Browns are coming off their by so the defense will be fresh. They're allowing a combo yards per game drawnning backs and a touchdown per game. The compoyards isn't great, but based on volume, Duke a safe b. Now to the past game, will Fuller gets an A. Now Will Fuller just playing in sixth straight games in the past was impressive, but now six straight games with

a touchdown. I don't even know what to say right now. I'm at a loss for words. I'm hard. I'll hark and back as I as I, as I often like to hearken. You're a big Hearken fan, big hearkener known from my hearkening um back to the preseason when we said Will Fuller stays healthy, if you promised me he'll play sixteen games, he will be a top ten wide receiver. He's a top ten wide receiver. Yeah, and you could

keep it rolling this week. Denzil Award is a great cornerback for Cleveland, but he's basically the last man standing in that secondary. Cleveland has allowed the fifth most catches and third most touchdowns to wide receivers who are also very active in the red zone. Against the Browns, Cleveland has yielded the most red zone targets and second most

red zone touches to the position. So in A for Fuller and in A for Brandon Cooks, who was universally dropped essentially after Week four when he had zero catches on three targets against the Vikings. Since then, he's seen at least nine targets in four straight and has scored in three of those four games. So in A for Cooks and I don't give Darren Fells to see the Browns are allowing six catches per game to opposing tight ends, who are also averaging two red zone targets per game.

That's the highest clip in the league. Bells has scored in two of his last three. So a CEE for Fells in the waste land and DeShawn Watson and easy A for me. Cleveland has allowed multiple passing touchdowns in five of eight games, at least three passing touchdowns in four of those five games, and in the three games

they did not allow multiple passing scores. One was that Monsoon game that we keep referencing, and the other two were Ben Roethlisberger and Philip Rivers, who are not very comparable to Deshaun Watson at this point in his career. So I love Deshaun Watson with an a over to the Cleveland side. Nick Chubb looking like he's going to make his return. He is off, I r he will. I don't know. So we're looking at a fifty fifty

split maybe sixty forty. I think I think he goes right back to he goes right back to what it was, but that was not that was like, and I think it might be more. Maybe maybe Hunt is the sixty and Chubb is the forty. This week we can talk more about Hunt and chubbing a little bit weekend. More importantly, they both get the return of right tackle Wyatt Teller

this week. Um, it's a great matchup as well. Houston has surrendered the most rushing yards and running backs, and the Texans have also yielded the most red zone touches to opposing running backs and the second touches in gold to go scenarios to the position. They have only allowed. Uh. The texting that Texans that is one score to running backs through the air, and only one back was able to catch more than five passes against them. So I do like Chubb more than Hunting this one, even if

Hunt sees more touches. But I'll give them both a very safe sea. I suppose with B upside for both uh stuff to gauge what's gonna happen here with with Chubb returning, UH, Jarvis Landry gets b saw Levin targets in his first game without oh. B J didn't do much, but coming off the by probably the healthiest he's been all year, should dominate slot corner Eric Murray, who owns a one passer rating in his coverage, Orchards Higgins. I like him as well. Was my take a chance on

me wide receiver and Austin Hooper. Gonna give him a B if he returns, which he should. The Texans are allowing the eighth most receptions and seventh most yards to opposing tight ends. Houston has also surrendered a tight end and two of their last four games, and that's notable because the two teams that didn't score it tight in touchdown during that span are actually one team. It was the Jaguars, who they played twice over the last four games, so B for Hooper and a B for Mayfield. Baker,

Mayfield Houston who. Houston has allowed a three yard passing game to Jake Lewton last week and prior to that they allowed four touchdown passes and back to back games at least two touchdown passes in five of seven, so it was safe B for Baker. You don't really touch on the weather. I mean the weather in Cleveland right now is dangerously high winds, so there's they're not going to get the rain from the monsoon game. But they could very well have a game with wins that just

make it so you can't pass. Like it was a few weeks ago, there was like five win games. They all came through on the over they except the Cleveland lost. They did think the Vikings game didn't either. I can't believe, but maybe it did. It did. No, there was another I mean it was a lot. I mean there were points scored. Let's put it that way. Just don't fade

these games. The gales of November came early. Now, when you get to me, when you get wins in the forty fifty, I don't want anything do with the passing game. That's me, let's go to the Chargers taking on the Dolphins. For the Chargers, it's all about quarterback. Justin Air Bear, And I'd like to submit since I taught some kindergarteners earlier this week, justin Air Bear as a children's book, I think it's a great idea. Here we go. The air bear doesn't scare. Oh wait, you're not. You're not

suggesting you're doing here? It comes okay, he doesn't care. He'll pass with flair. You know what's rare, an average of three oh seven yards pair and T T D passes maybe two point fair. The Dolphins d will surely dare air Bear, but they should be aware because they're allowing to seventy five through the air and within their lair. In Miami Fair, three of fair quarterbacks have gone for over three yards. So grab a chair and start to air Bear without a care. Because he's in a grade

I will share. That's it, okay, and now and now Mike will Yeah, and now Mike Williams and Jalen Guiton. As an erotic novel, Uh not really. The Dolphins have two really good corners in Xavian Howard and Byron Jones. They stay on the outside. That's where Williams and Guiton will be. Keep them on your bench. But Keenan Allen runs almost exclusively from the slot. In the last three games, teams have absolutely attacked the slot. Against Miami, Cooper Cup

had twenty one targets. The week before, Jamison Crowder had thirteen targets and seven catches. Only Davante Adams has more targets per game on the season than Keenan Allen, who's averaging eleven per game. This is setting up as a high volume game for Allen. I'm giving him an a. Also, Huntry Hunter. Henry, I'm giving him a be quietly ranks third among tight ends with six point six targets per game.

The Dolphins have been pretty good against the tight end, but they did allow two touchdowns to the tight end position just last week against Arizona, and neither of them were Dan Arnold. Brian probably feels bad about that one. No doubt, the running game looks like a combo of Joshua Kelly and Klin Blage, as Justin Jackson and Troy Maine Pope are both if he at best due to their injuries. I use Klin Blage as might take a chance on the runner and it made me feel great.

Really air quotes there. Uh, if Jackson specifically is cleared to play, I'd probably move Blage to the bench grade and and move that back to Jackson as a C. But Joshua Kelly is really also a C grade in this one because Miami's pretty bad against the run. Flip over to the Miami side where I talked about TOA and Mike Gasiki both take a chance on me. Participants Davante Parker, I'm giving a C grade in this one.

Preston Williams hit I R this week with a foot injury, and they did trade away Isaiah Ford last week, So five six Jachim Grant is your wide receiver two in

this offense? Or is it? Kasicki Parker gets the C grade because the Chargers are a top eight defense against both receiving yards and touchdowns allowed to the wide receiver position, and then the running back situation is gross because Matt Brito returns this week from a hamstring injury, but Miles Gaskin does not, so it's likely Burrito working between the twenties, Jordan Howard in at the goal line and Patrick Laird

stealing some passing down work. So all of them are on the bench, and if you need one, it's probably Howard because he's got the best chance at a touchdown. Yeah, you know, I want to say Matt Brita would be startable in a pinch, but I I don't see it coming together here. I don't either. Washington takes on Detroit. Let's start with the passing game. Alex Smith and spot duty has looked okay, let's call it inconsistent, but there's

a reason for optimism here. For the first time, he gets a full week of practice with the first team offense, and he faces a dismal lie in set and Dary. Detroit ranks twenty six in passing touchdowns allowed. Pro Football Focus ranks their pass rush, their coverage at Terry mclaurin's anticipated excess alone is Harry mccono matchup makes Alex Smith startable in this one. A C grade on Alex Smith, So let's go over to Terry McLaren with his A grade.

Over the past three games of McLaren averaging ten targets ninety three yards, He's scored twice over those three games, and prior to the Lions break from facing a real passing attack. The past two weeks against a washed up Philip Rivers and a run focused Vikings, Detroit had allowed a receiver to top ninety yards and four straight games. Uh. The only other part of the passing game you'd want

to touch Logan Thomas tight end. His score touchdowns and two of his last three weeks, the Lions have allowed the fewest yards to tight ends, but they've given up five touchdowns, including three in the past two weeks, and they've played no good tight ends as one other thing, and Logan Thomas isn't great, but he's on part with the guy just score touchdowns against Detroit, so we'll give him a B grade. Lastly, the running game, This is I believe your last chance to buy low on Antonio Gibson.

He's gonna have a big game here and he's gonna have more of them coming forward. The Lions are allowing the second most rushing yards the fourth most receiving yards to the position for a league worst one eight seven total yards and two touchdowns per game allowed to running backs. It's been even worse lately, where they're giving up two hundred twenty total yards and almost three touchdowns per game

over the last three weeks. Antonio Gibson saw season lows in rushing attempts and rushing yards last week as Washington got out to an early early double digit deficit. But they're not getting into a big deficit against the Lions, so I think Gibson gets plenty of carries and he's sitting on a big game B grade for Antonio Gibson. Let's go over to Detroit where Matthew Stafford gets to see grade. He's thrown exactly one touchdown in three of last four games, and the other game was mostly stat

padding in a blowout loss. He has no Kenny Golladay here. No quarterback has top two touchdowns against Washington all year, and five opposing teams have failed to even top two twelve passing yards. So that's why Stafford only gets the C grade. And I've only got one receiver with a starting grade. That's his tight end T J. Hockenson. He missed some time at practice this week, but appears to

be okay. Hockinson has recorded at least five targets and receptions in three straight games and has scored in four the last five. He's got a great opportunity keep it rolling against the Washington unit that has allowed six touchdowns to opposing tight ends. We're gonna talk a little bit more about t J. Hockenson shortly, and then the last

starter is DeAndre Swift. After getting trounced by the Cleveland Backs in Week three, Washington has been pretty good at keeping running backs in check since that game back in Week three. They've allowed ninety six rushing yards per game, which is pretty good with no back topping even sixty eight yards. Swift and have much value through the air, as Washington has allowed the third fewest receptions and second fewest receiving yards to opposing running backs, and that's where

Swift has been helpful. He's chipped in a fair amount of of receptions. But I don't think it happens here for Marvin Jones and Danny Amendola. They're out. They need they need easier starts, and this isn't one of them here. And Marvin Jones, especially with a bad matchup Adrian Peterson. Also, well, you thought maybe there'd be a revenge narrative for Adrian Peterson last week against the Vikings. That didn't come together,

and so another revenge narrative. Yeah, but if he's going to get the same light workload he's gotten over the last month, you can't start him. Did they play Arizona and New Orleans coming up to Yeah, I think I actually looked for that. I don't. I don't think he is going on the revenge tour unfortunately. UM at this stage, I've got three minutes left. If you can tuck in one more matchup, Brian, you can do it. If not, I've got some I got some things from the Thursday

night game. I'd love to talk to you guys about. Let's go for it, all right, Tampa Bay at Carolina. These teams met week two. Will reference that quick, even though Tampa Bay is an entirely different teams, since they uh what the ones were in Week two. Let's start with the receivers. Overall, Atlanta has held I'm sorry, Carolina has held Atlanta's wide out scoreless twice this year. That's concerning.

But over the last three weeks they've allowed four wide receiver touchdowns in a hundred nine yards per game to the position. That's forty four yards more than on their season average. So I'm gonna give us see Trantonio Brown Mike Evans and Chris Godwin quick hitters on each. Antonio Brown five targets in his Bucks debut, caught three for

thirty one scoreless yards. In week to Tampa Bay white at white outs called eleven passes, seven went to Mike Evans, but of course there was no Chris Godwin in that game. No Antonio Brown in that game, so Evans gets to see. He had the seven catches a hundred and four yards in a touchdown in that first meeting, but again there was no Godwin, there is no Brown, so temporary expectations

with Evans, he gets to seeing. Chris Godwin, probably the safest option of wide receiver for Tampa Bay, missed the first game, but in his two meetings against the Panthers last year he had ten catches a hundred and fifty one yards and then eight catches a hundred and twenty one yards and a touchdown. He has the best matchup with slot corner Corn Elder. The dude's name is Corn Corn. So I like god when the most of these three, but we gotta see what happens with all of them healthy.

So all sees for the Tampa Bay wide receivers over to Gronk could give him a B. The Panthers were just ripped by Travis Kelsey to the tune of ten catches and a hundred and fifty nine yards. Travis Kelsey used to be called baby Gronk. That's adorable right in his day and age. Uh Gronk certainly lesser than Kelsey these days, but he should be able to match the lines of Darren Waller, Hunter Henry and Hayden Hurst. Those three combined to average roughly five catches and fifty yards

against the Panthers last year. Tom Brady easy be with all those weapons. Leonard Fournette might take a chance to me running back bench. Ronald Jones Mike Davis is the only Panther you can start with confidence. He gets to be. He had eight catches for seventy four yards against Tampa Bay after Christian McCaffrey got hurt. McCaffrey will miss this game. B for Evans just to be for Robbie Anderson fifth

and targets third and catch this this year. Then you got a bench d J Moore, Curtis, Samuel Teddy, Bridgewater. It is a bad matchup for those guys. DJ more like five targets per games. There is enough volume. He's got to turn a couple of targets into a long game if he wants to get anything done, and that's been a problem. Do you people are dropping DJ more outright? Hockenson the best dynasty and or Empire league tight end to own? Brian? So we're in a startup league next year, right,

That's what we're going with this question exectively. Yes, you know, would you trade anybody if you are, if you're a t J. Hockenson owner in a dynasty or empire league, would you trade anybody for t J. Hockinson any existing tight end? Would you tried any tight end? One to one? So Ta Hawk turns twenty four in July. Gotta love that.

From a dynasty perspective, here are the other guys are threatening him as the top empire tight end Dynasty Empire tight end Travis Kelsey thirty two in October, Darren Waller twenty nine in September, George Kittle twenty eight in October, Mark Andrews in September, Noah Fanse former teammates of t J. Hockinson at IOWA twenty three in November. So I like Hockinson from the age perspective, but I still think you can get through three or four years with Darren Waller,

maybe even Travis Kelsey or George Kittle. And don't forget the incoming rookie tight end class is absolutely insane, led by Kyle Pitts, who will all get to know very soon. So long story short, Hopkinson is not my top target at tight end because you can make do with some of the older guys who are gonna outproduce him in the near future because Hockinson is not seeing enough targets.

So no, no, he's not your top. So I'm not sure what making do has to has to do with this, But okay, I mean you could start your Dynasty team with someone else and I don't need to rely on Hopkinson for eight years. I know he's young, but he's different. To go out and get him based on his age alone, is what I'm saying. So he's not the best tight end to own. Somebody else is the best guy end to own? Basically all those other guys I talked about,

no a fan everybody else? You'd rather most guys? Yeah, okay, let's move on. I don't even know what question you just answered. The other options I had to Hockinson the best Dynasty or Empire League tight end to own, So I thought Travis Kelsey, George Kittle, and Mark Andrews were the only other ones that I think I'd consider above Hockinson.

Right now, I'm gonna put Hockinson above Andrews barely because it seems like Lamar Jackson's passing limitations maybe somewhat real, and I'm a little bit afraid of Mark Andrews being so touchdown dependent. Uh. You could make a case for him above Kittle solely based on the quarterback situation. It's not the injury, it's the QB. Jimmy g Is he the answer next year? Are we sure? Probably not? Then? What then? What's passing to George Kittle next year? But

I can't put him there. I can't put him at number two, and I can't put him above Travis Kelsey. He just turned thirty one. He's got the best quarterback in the league. He's probably noticed. How do you know what's how Brian has at his age. He's thirty two in October. Yeah, it's November, November. I have reason to believe right now, if you're the next year, then uh, he might have the best quarterback in the history of the game. It's still Travis Kelsey as the best tight

end in dynasty. Uh. It is Travis Kelsey, who's got two or three more elite years in him and then probably like another four more really good years after that. And I want to win this year too. I mean, you know, I don't. I'm worried about but not a lot. I'd like to win one. That would be kind of nice. And really the clincher here for me is just this. I can't tell you who t J. Hockenson's quarterback is

going to be next year. If I knew, if he had, if he had a young, promising quarterback, I think it would be t J. Hockenson. I think he's got a sure it's gonna be Matthew Stafford. I don't know. I mean, I think I get the feeling that any year could be Stafford's last, or he just is like, you know what, I'm done with this because that's what was right. And he's old, He's taken a million hits. At some point

he's gonna walk away. That worries me. Tough. Question Number two, Nick Chubb is expected to return to the Browns on Sunday. Going forward, is Kareem Hunt and RB one, r B two flex or bench player Matt We begin with you. Stats Wise, he's the number eight ranked running back in most UH systems right now, so that makes him an RB one right now without Chubb for most of the season. Chubb's a really good player, will probably be the high

end of the sixty split. But this is a Kevin Stefanski run heavy, passed to the back scheme without Odell Beckham, so I think he's going to stay very involved. Last year, in the games where both he and Chubb played, Hunt averaged about fifty eight yards about five receptions per game, pitched in a touchdown and every other That's good enough for a flex. But I see him as a slightly better version of what he was last year this year, so I'm gonna give him an RB two the rest

of the RB two. All right, Brian, is Kareem Hunt going forward now that Nick Chubb is healthy and RB one r B two flex or punch? Yeah, we saw this last year when they're both healthy, and it was a flex floor for Hunt. And it's the third easiest remaining schedule for running backs that Cleveland has. So I'm with Matt, I'm going RB two. Uh. When Chubb was healthy for the three full games at the beginning of the year, Kareem Hunt was RB twelve overall in those

three games. He's too good. He's just playing too good to be completely factored out of the offense. That's it. You know what's been really weird about Hunt. If they're not throwing to him. I'm like, this is the obvious thing to do with him is throw him the ball, and they just they're not his His receiving numbers have been strangely light. Um, it's a mixed schedule going forward for Kareem Hunt and the rest of the Browns, but only one stopper game left on the schedule, that's Baltimore

Week fourteen. He'll be an RB two the rest of the way. Now, before we get to tough question, number three. To help make sense of it a little bit, I'd like to preface this with an explanation of the sabotage draw. Brian, will you tell listeners what the sabotage drop is. It's essentially dropping a big name player that will because I'll ruckus on the free agent waiver wire. But he's garbage.

He's garbage moving forward, he's fool's gold. That's right, and you got you gotta do it right before a big waiver period as well or a good matchup. You can't. You can't. You can't sabotage dropped like on the weekend because somebody. You need somebody to pay something to make to pick up that player. You can't just get rid of the worst player on your roster. We want you to have to use a high waiver claim, spend a bunch of fab on this player. That's the key to

the sabotage drop. And that's your backdrop for this tough question. Number three. If Ronald Jones flops this week against the Panthers, should fantasy managers sabotage drop him? Brian, Yes, and I would almost do it before the Panthers games. Again, man, you can't do it. On the weekend because nobody has to pay anything to make the pickup. It's not a sabotage. People could the people are using waiver wire priority incorrectly. Anyway, I'll say yes after the Carolina game. I don't like

him going into this game. Mentioned earlier, Leonard Fournett over the last three weeks has out snapped Jones two x. During that same three week span, Jones has dropped four passes. That's a lot, especially for running back. He has managed sixty six yards on twenty three carries. That's two point eight seven yards per carry. And he had a costly fumble against the Giants a couple of weeks ago that almost costs him the game. And when you go in

Bruce Arians doghouse, you're not coming out anytime soon. Leonard Fournett, barring injury, will be the lead back for the Bucks. This is a pass first, team first and foremost. So yes, sabotage drop Ronald Jones whenever you want, my mind, don't not whenever you want to do it. If you're a waiver wire prioritially do it now. Okay, never mind waivers already Ran, You're right charge My bat Matt too is Ronald Jones a sabotage drop if he doesn't perform against

the Panthers. I was gonna say, to Brian's point, getting out of bruce Arians doghouse is only as long as it takes for somebody else to get in, because last year the Bucks didn't have a running back who led the team in touches in three consecutive weeks. Running back only did it two weeks in a row, and then they switched and he was losing out on touches to Peyton Barber last year. Also to Brian's point, it doesn't need to be a sabotage drop. You can just drop

him because he sucks. And how about this, the sabotage drop might be Leonard four Net. You don't want anything to do with this Buck's running game. If you sabotage drop Leonard four Net after a few weeks or after a great week against Carolina, that's gonna cause the ruckus on your waiver wire right there. If you don't want anything to do with this Bucks running game, you sabotage

drop Leonard four Nett. So yes, don sabotage away, dude, Okay, alright, vain He's like, oh my God, I guys can't answer the question. They're so tough, clearly says after he flops against the Panthers, Once you do drop him, Brian now said, he's clearly gonna flop against If he flops against the Panthers, he's gonna For four straight weeks, Ronald Jones has seen as rushing attempts and rushing yards dropped. He's been out snapped by four NET in every game since four NET

returned from injury. That's said, And you guys have touched on this. Bruce arians completely inscrutable with his running backs. And even if Ronald Jones has a great game here and he outproduces Leonard Fournette, you couldn't even feel safe put him in your your line up. The next week, he's gonna be on your bench wing he does have the great game too. Every time you start Ronald Jones, you are bracing for a two point game. So you're all that together we are sabotage dropping him. This is

the last chance, far as I'm concerned. And then the sabotage drop is a very real thing that's headed his way. Let's work in one more matchup into this segment. I believe we left off on forty Niners taking on the Saints. Matt for the forty Niners, we get Nick Mullins at the Helm have a presumably Jerick McKinnon led running game. I think so yeah maybe, Um so Nick Mullins. I'm gonna start by giving him a bench grade. Last week against Tom Brady was the first time the Saints did

not allow multiple passing scores in a game. But I actually thought about him as might take a chance on the quarterback. Um. They still rank as one of the better past defenses in the game. Unless it's garbage time. I don't think you can trust Mullins for any points here, although Mullins kind of sounds like a cock word for garbage. Maybe so maybe it's Mullen's time. Yeah, I still on the bench. I don't even know again, no idea what

you're talking about. He does get Brandon Ayuk back this week, and it looks like Kendrick Borne may clear COVID protocol before the game. But the Saints matchup I think is just too tough. Um, with the wide receivers, I'll give a Yuka. See, I'm gonna leave Kendrick Borne and Richie James on the bench. Mullins has targeted no player more than Ayuk this season. He missed last week after a close contact tested positive on the Niners. Ayuk was never sick,

though Born did test positive. The team thinks it maybe false positives though, and he might play this weekend. Okay either way. The Saints are a strange break but don't bend defense. They have allowed the seventh fewest receptions to the position, but a robust a hundred and seventy one yards per game and the eighth most wide receiver touchdowns. We're gonna leave Ross Dwelly and Jordan Read on the bench, uh and Jerick McKinnon and Jamichael Hasty. Hasty can be

cut now. He's only he only saw fifteen s apps and six touches compared to forty two snaps in fifteen touches for McKinnon last week. It doesn't matter now watch They're gonna flip it. Maybe, wouldn't it be? It would

be so Shannahanigans, It would be so shannahanigans. Just flip the script and go all hasty now that everybody's forgotten about him and given up, McKinnon should be on your bench, though, as the Saints are allowing only seventy rushing yards per game to the position and only three point six yards per carry. Let's go to the Saints side where I'm giving Drew Brees a kind of a throwback A grade here.

He's got Michael Thomas back and the forty Niners have been absolutely torched as of recent Aaron Jones or Aaron Jones, Aaron Rodgers, and Russell Wilson each throw four touchdown passes against the Niners in the last two weeks, and two of the three quarterbacks before them tossed multiple scores as well. They're so incredibly injured throughout the entire defense that it's just not the same. Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara, they're

both getting A grades as well. Even though Thomas didn't have a huge game last week against the Bucks, he did co lead the team and targets and receptions with Alvin Uh. We're not going as far as Latavious Murray in this one, as the Niners have been pretty stout against the run. Still, Uh, Kamara is just too versatile to hold down. A couple more guys. I want to

mention tray Kwan Smith. He gets a C grade. Secondary receivers as such as Marquez Valdez, Scandling, David Moore, and Josh Reynolds have each scored against the Niners in the last month, and tray Kwan Smith's worth a dart throw just for that. Jared Cook gets a C grade as well. He's totally touchdown dependent at this point, and the Niners have only given up two tight end touchdowns on the season. But still Cook is top twelve among tight ends in receptions,

yards and touchdowns per game. And if you have him on your roster, you're probably starting him. You probably don't have another tight end option. Yeah, that's a which, but that's everybody right now. Yeah, you know half two thirds of the league is bracing for a zero zero point game out of their tight end. Yeah, you're just looking for tight end touchdowns. Now, John Who? John Who? Runs in a touchdown and you're like, oh, thank god, I

got I got something out of it. Does nothing else? Yes, Well, they threw him a bunchtimes and he was covered and none of them, none of them ended up working. Very frustrating. Let's begin with Russell Wilson, who gets in a grade here. The Rams are a good defense. The Rams have held six of eight opposing quarterbacks to zero or one passing touchdown. But Wilson's just unbenchable.

So you know, no matter what the stats say, no matter anything else he's on, he's m v P pace and I still have an A grade on Russell Wilson. Let's talk about his matchup with DK metcalf It's fascinating. So Metcalfe saw a bunch of elite cornerback T Davious White last week, and when White was on him, White

held him to three catches and thirty yards. But then White gets knocked out of the game and they feed metcalf a bunch and he ends up with a big game, but it didn't come when term Davious White was on him. Here comes another shut down cornerback, Jalen Ramsey, who was allowing twenty seven yards per game in his coverage. That's all, but on Friday, Ramsey said he's going to cover DK Metcalf and he's gonna cover everybody else too, So it sounds a lie if we believe he's going to cover

multiple receivers at the same time. Play I got all of it. He's like, Fred Smoot, you know how to shut down Metcalf. He really shut down DK Metcalf. Just put three cones right in front of him. Okay, thank you. Wow. Some people can't get over the combine. Just nothing he can do. Um, so you it's and Ramsey could just be lying, right, I mean, do you do you are you gonna believe any player is gonna say anything publicly that actually Friday before a game? Then actually is any

bearing on what's really gonna happen? Probably not. So point is it's an A grade for DK Metcalf because he's too good to not give an a grade to anything could happen. Maybe Ramsey doesn't go for And by the way, Ramsey doesn't usually go to the slot, and Metcalf does run a fair amount from the slot, so it's another way he can shake Ramsey a grade of Metcalf. So

what about Tyler Lockett? Then he's been held under forty five scoreless yards in four of the last six games, so if he doesn't give you the explosive game, Lockett is killing you. Los Angeles is averaging the fewest allowed yards to receivers, just one four per game, and have only allowed four receivers to find the end zone all year long. Lock It should mostly avoid Ramsey, instead matching up with slot cornerback Troy Hill. The boast often, but

Hill's really good. He hasn't allowed to touch down all season. The only angle here is that Hills a lot slower than lock It and could be on the wrong end of a long pass, but that's just a C grade for Locket. This feels way more dangerous than it does positive for Tyler Lockett um staying with the passing no moving over to the running game, and then you don't want to start any other secondary tertiary receivers. For Seattle, let's talk about Chris Carson, presuming he goes here, might

see fewer carries due to the knee injury. Over the last five games, the Rams haven't allowed to single back to top sixty five rushing yards and have only allowed one touchdown. It was the Miles Gaskin all the way I'll by the way, that's over the last five games. It's a long time. Carson's average total yards per game against the Rams throughout his career, and for the most part, any game that Carson starts and finishes, he's awfully good.

In a B grade for Carson. If he does not go, then DJ Dallas likely gets all the work here and he's just not good. So he would be a C grade and a dart throw at best in a tough matchup. Um, it does not appear that well. I can just say carlos IDE's not going in this game, so it would go back to d J Dallas in all probability. All right, so let's go to the ramp side. I'm worried Sean McVeigh is too smart for his own good. All you have to do to beat Seattle is a band in

the running game and just pass all the time. Last week, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills rolled the Seattle defense because they only handed off the ball eleven times in the entire game. All the rest of it were past plays. So will Sean McVeigh je throw the ball or is he gonna have to be too smart and try something else? Established the rune on don't do it, don't do it. Let's hope that's not the case here, And based on that, I've got Jared Goff with an A grade. I know,

I never thought it would happen. Jared Goff through the ball sixty one times last week. I'd like to see that happen again here. Even if let's go fine, Seahawks are allowing a league worse three or seventy seven passing yards per game, a pace that and on paste to shatter the all time in competency record. Every opposing quarterback

has scored multiple touchdowns against the Seattle Seahawks. Cooper Cup gets an A grade, Robert Wood gets Woods gets an A grade for all of the same reasons that you already know, and cut by the way, has pounded this team in the past anyway, So a great opportunity for both Cup and Woods and Josh Reynolds was might take a chance on me a wide receiver, and you can use him in a pinch as well. Let's go to Darrell Henderson, who gets a C grade. He's coming off

his lowest usage game since Week one. He got out snapped by both Malcolm Brown and Cam Akers and the Rams. Really, if I have my choice, they won't even run the ball in this game. Aside from being trampled by the Minnesota Backs, Seattle hasn't allowed to single back over fifty six rushing yards and they're allowing the third fewest rushing

yards per game to the position. He's not much of a pass catcher, and the only reason I have a segret and Darrell Henderson is I think he finds his way to about fifties scoreless yards, and that's about all you get when you get a C grade. Nobody else left to talk about on the Rams, including their tight ends, who I do not trust in this game. Unless it turns out that either Higbie or Everett does not go in this game, then you could flip to the other one.

But I think both are gonna play. All right, Let's go to our next matchup, which is the Bengals taking on the Steelers. Brian, this is a tricky matchup to me in that the Steelers are Pro Football focus is best pass rushing defense and the Bengals offensive line just stinks.

Yeahs with Joe Burrow, then it's gonna give him a C. He's gonna take some hits in this game, but he's gonna air it out to No quarterback has topped two touchdown passes against the Steelers this year, but every opposing quarterback has scored at least once, and even Garrett Gilbert posted Fantasy relevant numbers against the Steelers. Yes, borrow north of forty past stemps for games, past dempsper games. So

we've got to give him a C here. I'm not going to give a C to Tyler Boyd, especially on his birthday Sunday B for the birthday boy Boyd had one oh one receiving and a touchdown in his most recent matchup with Pittsburgh. That was last year. This is their first meeting, by the way, these two teams. He has total three touchdowns in his last three games against the Steelers as well, Boyd averaging nine targets seven catches.

Basically unbeenchable at this point. If Boyd is a Birthday B and he's our favorite B grade, we've got what we we have our favorite A grade his the Fantasy yard Park. What's what do you mean? We're still we're still working out the details of their fight to the death between an art park. Carry on, our favorite it's gonna be at us. I'm pretty sure this kind of thing we do. We need more animals, Beyonce. I'm trying

to find another animal in the show. Continue Brian plus matchup for birthday boy Tyler Boyd against safety Cameron Sutton, who man's this lot for Pittsburgh allowed a season high sixty six yards and his coverage last week. So do not bench Tyler Boyd, and don't bench Te Higgins or A J. Green either, and give them both a sea. Shockingly, Pittsburgh has surrendered the ninth most fantasy points and the third most touchdowns to wide receivers this year. Higgins and

Green both in wide receiver three territory. This week, I will mention this is A J. Green's first game against Pittsburgh's October. Oh you know, in Italy in October and they found a beaver for the first time in six hundred years. I heard that on some other show. It

certainly wasn't about fantasy football. The lastly, for the Bengals, Geo Bernard, you gonna give him the c Joe Mixon not looking like he will play Pittsburgh has Pittsburgh has only allowed five rushing touchdowns, but in the last two games, Zeke and Tony Pollard combined for a hundred eight yards on the ground. The week before, Gus Edwards and j K Dobbin Dobbins combined for two hundred rushing yards on thirty one carries. So Bernard is startable. There's not much

angle from a passing game perspective here. The Steelers have allowed just one receiving touchdown to running backs this year, and only see Kwon Barkley, remember him has caught more than two passes at the running back position against the Steelers, and that was in Week one. So just to see for geo Bernard over to the Steeler side, we'll start with Ben Roethlisberger and give him a see it might be for Covid. I don't know. Yeah, well, we'll see if he works. I think I think he plays in

this game. We're gonna assume he plays in this one. I did a little I did a little Ben Roethlisberger recon this past week. He has become a check down quarterback. He is. He has the second lowest UH intended air yards and the second lowest I think third maybe it's third lowest average distance of pass I mean depth of four point five yards per completion. He's Teddy Bridgewater bar for Worthy for sure. Thirty percent of his passes of twenty plus yards are more are going for completions awful. Yes,

the explosiveness is gone. It really it is. It's gone. But basically every quarterback cobbles together two passing touchdowns against the Bengals, right, But sadly that's Ben's ceiling in this one, although it is to be expected based on the Bengals being the Bengals. So a CEE for Roethlisberger, but keep your on him in case he doesn't play over his receivers.

Juju Smith Schuster gonna give him a B. He has UH scored ind or logged a hundred yards and two of his last three meetings against Cincinnati and should be in line for similar success against slot corner Lashawn Simms, who's allowed four scores in his last five games, So would be for Juju just to see for Deonta Johnson and Chase Claypool though it's a tough matchup against UH cornerback William Jackson for the Bengals, but Jackson can't cover

both of these guys, and opposing boundary receiver duos have had recent success against the Bengals, uh Corey Davis and A. J. Brown both scored. Davis went over a hundred yards and then the week before Richard Higgins topped a hundred yards and Donovan People's Jones at fifty plus yards and a touchdown. So I will start both Deonte Johnson and Chase Claypool

with a C. Will also start Eric Ebron. He gets a B. The Bengals have allowed the seventh most receptions and third most yards and touchdowns to opposing tight ends. At one point they allowed six touchdowns to tight ends and three games in a three game span. And Eric Ebron has already scored against the Bengals as a Lion and a cult and it's coming as a steel oh B for Ebron. And lastly, James Conner. James Conner gets to be. Cincinnati has let running backs rack up a

whopping five point four yards per carry. They have only allowed two scores to the position over the last seven games. But you basically have to start James Conner and hope he sees the bell cal volume, but be warned he

normally doesn't. He has topped sixteen carries just four times in his last twenty three games Matt The Bills take on the Cardinals, Josh Allen coming off an explosive game after being after having no touchdown passes and two straight The Cardinals look good on paper, but they have faced

some bad quarterbacking. Yeah, what do you think? UM? Vegas certainly thinks that they're going to have a high scoring game implied totals of twenty eight for both teams in this one, So Josh Allen's getting an A in this one. Similarly built Russian quarterbacks like Russell Wilson and Tua have faced the Cards over the last two weeks. Wilson had three eight and three with another eighty four run shing yards, to oh was to forty eight and two with thirty

five rushing yards. And I think tah is a very safe floor for Alan, but I think he'll have more rushing yards than that. Uh, Stefan Diggs gets an A grade, He'll get Patrick Peterson, but that's not as scary anymore. UM. What is scary that is that slot receivers have absolutely torched the Cardinals, which is why Cole Beasley is getting a very solid B and just the last month, Tyler Lockett went for two hundred yards and three scores. Jamison Crowder had eight for one sixteen in a score, so

Beasley's full. All systems go right here. I like it. Even John Brown gets a C grade. He had eleven targets last week against Seattle and came up with eight catches for ninety nine yards and was taggled at the one yard line, which really would have gave him, you know, a touchdown plus the one yard bonus on DraftKings. I wonder if that affected anybody's lineups out there. Nobody, nobody at all. It's also a revenge game for John Brown. By the way, Hey, there we go back when he

was smoke. Now he's just fire wo Zack Moss and Devin Singletary single Arry is on the bench until further notice. He had two carries for one yard last week. He didn't get three catches for thirty three yards. Well, Zack Moss only had eleven touches last week. He did gain more yardage and score a touchdown. Moss led the snap count thirty eight to thirty one, so I'll give him a C grade. The cards are a decent matchup, allowing a hundred and forty two total yards per game to

the position. I just worry that single Tarry takes that, so Moss is just a See Kyler Murray gets an easy A grade, we don't need to talk about him. And on pace, I saw this, this a story that emerged about Kyle Kyler Murray this week. He's on a a higher scoring pace this year then Lamar Jackson was last year, and you know that was like, you know the story of the story of the season last year. Murray's like I think RB four right now and l Jackson was like RB eight nine last year. Well, he's

out out pacing him as crazy. To that point, the Bills have allowed rushing touchdowns to Russ Cam Tannehill Goff, and Kyler's averaging one rushing touchdown per game. DeAndre Hopkins is an a uh. He's literally alternated huge games with subpar yardage games all season. Over his last four one in a score, then seventy three, then one oh one on a score. Last week he only had thirty. He's going over a hundred yards this week. He won't get there. He will be beyond trade as White. But I think

DeAndre Hopkins wins that matchup. Christian Kirk won't get trade Avious White. He gets a B grade. He's leading the team in infrared zone target share, garnering garnering thirty six percent of the targets inside the ten, and coming up with four touchdowns from inside the ten this season. Finally Chase Edmonds. I'm giving him a B grade. It's possible that Kenyan Drake returns this week. I think it might happen. Unfortunately, if that happens, that might downgrade Edmunds a little bit.

But um, I like him. I think he's talented. It's a good matchup. Team gives up four point four yards per carrying a hundred and thirty six totally yards. That's good. My major concern is he doesn't get any touches inside the ten, only one carry on the season. He's getting vultured by his own quarterback and Kenyan Drake. That happens unfortunately, Kyler Murray eighth and rushing yards. Four guys ahead of him have played one whole more game than him. Yeah,

it's unbelievable. It's uh. You know, if you if you punted quarterback, You're like, I'm so smart, I'm gonna wait on quarterback. You got hammered this year. The strategy this year mostly was Russell. You know, those mid range quarterbacks have been the way to go for the most part. When we come back Premature Speculation. Three players you can pick up this week that everybody else will be trying to get next week when we return. Welcome back Fantasy

Football Weekly Reminder. This is a segment we like to start off with in Premature Speculation. These are three players that we believe you should pick up now that other people are gonna be trying to pick up next week, and they're already on your team. Brian, who is your premature Speculation player? Newcomer

wide receiver from the Eagles. His name is al Shan Jeffrey. I don't know have you ever heard of him, but he will make his season debut this week against the Giants. I don't like his prospects a whole lot for this week, but moving forward, he's got two great matchups in Cleveland and Seattle. Now, Jeffrey only thirty years old, he should have some gas, and you would think so should be healthy. So if he gets out of the Cleveland Seattle matchups, then the next two are Green Bay in New Orleans,

which is bad Alexander Marshawn Lattimore. But Latimore has been bad, not against Mike Givans at least, But if he's seeing shadow coverage from those guys, it's a good thing. Because he popped off in the two weeks before against Cleveland and Seattle, and then in weeks fifteen and sixteen Arizona and Dallas for Philly. So if you're a wide receiver, stash alshon Jeffrey, see what happens. I'm buying on the

whole Eagles offense. U Matt your premature speculation player. Let's pick up another kind of a retread guy, Alex Smith, the quarterback. He gets Detroit this week. I think he's gonna do well against Detroit. I gave him a starting grade. Let's follow that up with matchups against Cincinnati and Dallas. That problem is really good. His only stopper left on the schedule is Pittsburgh after that, But then he gets Seattle in your semi final week of your fantasy playoffs.

Week fifteen. You want whoever's going against Seattle in your fantasy playoffs, and Alex Smith has one of those schedules. That's in a two quarterback league. He's definitely startable in those weeks. All right, Well, I'm gonna begin by reiterating the same name we've given three times now, and that's Alan Lazard. Go get him. But also let's go to

a different player. Are you interested? Hey, Matt and Brian, are you interested in a running back averaging almost seven yards per carry who's getting an increasing workload in three straight games. I didn't get the script, but I'll say yes, Okay, good sounds good to me. Let's keep going. He runs behind and often injured starter. He plays for a run heavy offense on a playoff bound team, and we'll have home games in weeks fourteen, fifteen, and sixteen. I'll take

three of them. I don't blame you. We're talking about Davante Booker, the Las Vegas Raiders, a team that is playoff bound right now. The play iff the playoffs started today, they'd be in He's arguably one of the most important handcuffs and fantasy football uh Las Vegas currently one of just to g two games over five hundred. They run the ball copiously. The seventh most that playoff schedule home home home one is the Colts. That is a tough matchup,

I'll admit that. But then Chargers Miami, you could be starting him there. And if Josh Jacobs breaks down this year like he did last year, and he's already had nagging injuries throughout this season, Davante Booker potentially sitting on a nice spot later in the season, get him now. I'm sorry, Matt, because we'll get to the matchup soon. It's a revenge game for you know what. I think

it's the old team in the Brown goes correct. The Monday Night game is the Vikings taking on the Bears Dalvin Cook's and obvious A. Obviously the Bears are going to sell out to contain Dalvin Cook, but so did the last two teams. It didn't matter. You know, you know what the script is. You know you're gonna get a heavy dose of Dalvin Cook, and more often than not,

A doesn't make any difference. Now, the Bears did just contain Derrick Henry last week, and so there is a scenario where they contain Dalvin Cook two But he's still in a grade. Let's go to the passing game, which has got a lot more interest I think for people. Kirk Cousins remains an unreliable fantasy play because of his low volume, something that's likely to happen on Monday Night,

but not an absolute lock to happen. Over cousins last nineteen games, his line of demarcation is thirty two attempts. When he's under thirty two attempts, Kirk cousins average game is just two hundred eleven yards and one and a quarter touchdowns. But what happens when he's over thirty two attempts? He balloons to two eight one yards and almost three touchdown passes. If he can go over thirty two attempts. The Bears have given up thirty two attempts six times

this year. Cousins could get there now. He's only thrown over thirty two attempts twice this year. But there is a scenario where it happens here, And if that happens, then I tend to like him a little bit more, even against a good past defense. Justin Jefferson and Adam theland or see grades. Low passing volume is the problem. That's plaguing them lately as well, and you add into that a good Chicago past defense. The Bears allow the fifth few yards to wide receivers, just one hundred forty

four per game. Jefferson will likely see the better matchup more often, and that's against rookie cornerback Jalen Johnson. Feeland's got the tougher matchup. That's Kyle Fuller, who's allowing him easily thirty yards per game in his coverage. Feeland's historically struggled against the Bears, failing to top sixty six yards or find the end zone in the team's past seven straight games, including by the way, Feeland put up a six yard game against the Bears in the first meeting.

Even that that's not right. It's first meeting. That is not correct. They haven't met this year. I don't believe that's my memories failing me. Um IRV Smith. He's got a groin injury, um and you're probably not going to know his status before Sunday's kickoff if he gets ruled out. Kyle Rudolph becomes a fascinating places. The Bears really struggled against tight ends. But as it stands, right now is

a Monday night game. You're probably not gonna know either way, so I don't think you can count on IRV Smith and we really it looks like a game time decision on the scrowing injury. All right, let's go to the Bear side. Beginning with the passing game. Nick Foles was might take a chance on me quarterback. He has a C grade in this game. Allan Robinson has an A grade. Over the past three games, Robinson has inexplicably seen fewer targets than Darnell Mooney and Anthony Miller. But I think

that change is here. They Chicago's gotta change that. It gets a Vikings secondary allowing the fifth most yards to receivers, and he's likely as playing on the outside. He's gonna see sixth and seventh stringers at cornerback, Chris Boyd and Chris Jones. It's gotta be a good game for Allen Robinson here. I've got to believe Darnell Mooney is coming up in a loven target game and the Bears seemed to trust him a lot more now than earlier in the season, and this is his easiest matchup of a year.

He'll get whichever of Chris Boyd and and and Chris Jones that Allen Robinson isn't on and then running out of the slot. You can even start Anthony Miller. He'll go up against Vikings rookie Jeff Gladden, who has allowed four touchdowns in the past three games. A C grade on Anthony Miller, a B grade on Darnell Mooney, and a B grade on Jimmy Graham. Vikings have only allowed three scores to opposing tight ends. However, t J. Hockenson

found the end zone against them last week. In Minnesota's allowing the fourth most yards to opposing tight ends, So Graham potentially sitting on a pretty good game here. So let's talk about David Montgomery. Um, he's in the concussion protocol. We think, we don't know. It's just it's too early for us to know if he's gonna go or not. But even if he can play, there isn't much to

like about this matchup. Since getting obliterated by Derrick Henry in Week three, no back against Minnesota has top seventy five rushing yards and only one has scored. They've given up nine receptions per game over the last two so Montgomery could chip in a little something through the ground. But I think that's probably the the way in which he can be helpful. All right, let's go to our final matchup, and that is the Broncos taking on the Raiders.

He already told us you like Drew Lock earlier in the show, and he has you take a chance, I mean quarterback. So let's talk about the running game for Denver. By the way, the first meeting between these two division rivals of the season, Melvin Gordon and Philip Lindsay get both get a c Last week. Gordon out snapped Lindsay six to thirty eight percent, but Lindsay saw more touches. Uh. This is one of the worst backfield platoons in all

of football, but a great matchup for both. Opposing backs are averaging four point seven yards per carry and nearly one fifty combo yards per game against the Raiders, who just surrendered touchdowns to lack backs. Those are charges running backs Klin Blage and Gave Neighbors score touchdown. Gabe Neighbors, you said, Gabe Neighbors is a football player who scores against He also was on Mr Rogers. Neighbors owns the Raiders.

The Raiders also placed inside linebacker Corey Littleton on the COVID to Thursday, which would be huge for these backs catching the ball out of the backfield. One of the best coverage linebackers in the NFL, so keep your eye on Corey Littleton. Would also be huge for Noah fense, we'll talk about in a second. I will note quickly Philip Lindsay, never scored against the Raiders, would be a grounder air in his career. He's overdue over to Jerry Judy. You can give him a B. Now this is the

first of many. It's not a revenge game, but it's a you should have drafted me instead of Henry Ruggs game. Yes, it is so. Jerry Judy certainly motivated for this one against the Raiders, who have allowed four different wide receivers to top eighty yards over their last three games. Three of those wide receivers also scored a touchdown, so that secondary has been very leaky and for that reason, I like Tim Patrick as well, returned from injury last week,

played in the snap, saw nine targets. He gets to be This game should be a shootout. The over under his fifty point five points I mentioned earlier and each of Denver's last three games went north of fifty eight points. So I like Hatrick a lot here. I want to like Noah Fant a lot, but just a little a C for him. He's a little banged up, Yeah, the ankle injury. He looked, he was clearly hobbled last week and now there's no more alack and this is the

last time I'll mention him. I'm gonna try to pronounce his name Albert Oi kuai bunom and not I are will not be vulturing Noah Fanse in the red zone. But not a great matchup for fans. The Raiders have allowed the ninth viewest receptions and yards the tight end position, and since Week three the only tight ends to score on Vegas where Kelsey and Gronk. Gronk always scores in Vegas, by the way, and Fant only had three catches for thirty three yards again in the two games against the

Raiders last year. So just a C for Noah Fanse, but not for Drew Lock. He's might take a chance on me quarterback. Would slap a be on him if I had to over to the Raiders side. Josh Jacobs b for him, should see a heavier normal workload this week against the Broncos, who have allowed on one combo yards and a touchdown per game to running back over their last three. Jacobs had a hundred plus combo yards and two rushing touchdowns in his loan game against Denver last year, so a B for him, a A for

Darren Waller that matchup is not great. The Broncos have allowed just two touchdowns to opposing tight ends this year. Both of those came in Week one against the Titans, by the way, but Atlantic tight ends did just combined for eight catches and seventy four yards, and Waller played well against Denver last year, averaging seven catches and ninety yards across both matchups. Benching Hunter, Renfro and Nelson Agil

are not gonna get into that too much. And lastly, Derek Carr gets a B. Not in love with the receiving options as a whole, but he has the individual weapons who spread it around. Denver has allowed three passing touchdowns and back to back games. Derek Carr has been shockingly competent from a fantasy standpoint. Definitely, yeah, I was. That's you know, it's odd to say, and I don't think we expected it, but he's uh. He looks like a guy that might be able to help out in
