You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Fantasy Best Friends Forever. M Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do do do Yeah. This day's the Fantasy Best Friends Forever. Here of a Fantasy Sports rate your network alongside for Frankie standfll. I am Greg Sauce. What's going on, Greggy? We ate almost in the books. We have a slobber knocker tonight in Buffalo. People flying through tables and we'll see if the Buffalo ability can show up. All right,

all right? You have anything on the line tonight, sir? Yeah, I think. I think anytime the Patriots are playing on Monday Night, there's gonna be games that are held in the balance. Is because there's so many fantasy relevant players, do you personally? Yeah, yeah, I have. In my home league, I'm up forty four, like forty three and a half. I'm going against Tom Brady, Josh Gordon, and Gronk. I have Edelman, a scary Knight's gonna a scary knife for you.

According to CBS, I have sixty seven chance of winning nothing. Yes, it's gonna be a scary knife for you for sure. Um, I have faith in the Bills defense. The Bills defense has played well. I mean that's that's not part the problem. They have no one to throw the football. And uh, I mean that their defense didn't look great after they're showing it's the Colts last week, But if you look at the games before that, Um, the Bills defense is actually pretty good. So I think they'll show up tonight

at home. As long as we can limit limit Tom Brady to like two touchdowns instead of like four or five, I think I'm good. But this is also a team that has Sammy Watkins on the bench. So there you go, Greg, there you go. How about you anything tonight. We're on opposite ends tonight, Frankie, Because as you know it, I

was texting you guys yesterday that I was up. I asked before the end of the four o'clock games, like, what do I have to be up facing Alvian Camara and Julian Edelman to feel good, to feel to feel like I got a shot at this? Floria responded forty. Frank responded thirty five to forty. I was up at the end of the four o'clock games, exactly forty points on the nose. That's funny. Albacamara put up, um, what do you put up in my league? Well, we've up whatever you put up, but now it's exactly he put

up quick math, twenty three points? Is that right? Well? Anyway, up seventeen on Julian Edelman tonight seventeen and Julian Edelman. Yeah, no, I think you're good man. Even if he scores a touchdown, you're probably still good. There's two touchdowns. You're done. Sure, I'm up? Yeah, I'm up seventeen. Uh Camara, Yeah, Camara, twenty points exactly right, because that's that's math. That's how it works. So Alec Camara had twenty three points gainst me.

Hopefully Julietmans have seventeen. He has not had seventeen and either game that he's participated in either any game he's participated in this season, So it would take his best game of the year. That should be quite frustrating. But hopefully we get it done tonight, Frank, Hopefully we do man, because I'm four and three in this league. It's like

a very flukey four and three team. Like if I have read you this team, it's like, it's not a great team, and I'm just I'm just trying to keep I'm just trying to keep plugging away here, so we'll see what happens. It was, I would say it was a pretty fun week. I don't think there was anything to happen. I don't think it was a funny week just because the one called games until if it's magic came in, which we'll get to it in just a

few moments. There was not a single one scoring game late perspective, I mean, you got a lot of fantasy scoring obviously, yes, talking about blowout was getting a lot of fantasy that's true. Not really for my flaers though, which is really when I care about Obviously, Oh, you mean Jermaine Kurse didn't get it done for you, Greg, did he was better than more. Tavis Bryan or Tavis Bryant didn't get it done for you doing his best Tomari Cooper. You know who did get it done? Who

it didn't start? Josh Reynolds. And that's why you were so angry. I was so up. You didn't remember that that I picked him up everywhere last week, and I started him last I didn't know you still I didn't. I dropped him. We owned him on the BFFs. Did you know that we did it? It was hot. The BFFs are hot. Man. I was looking at the team

and I was like, this team is pretty good. So rise, you didn't leave the show off with the biggest story of the day's Frank shade this beer for those that aren't watching, because he was dusting stranger things look great, really look great. Well, you ruined it. I was gonna bring it in on Wednesday. Prise, surprise, you still be it dusted from strangers. People saw your Instagram or Snapchat or whatever, they would see it. Yeah, I mean, I don't know how many of our listeners and viewers follow

me on Instagram, Like a lot do Yeah. Anyway, So Frank and his fiance dressed up as Dustin and eleven and as good as Frank looked really crushed it. Yeah, pulled it off. I didn't even know that she was gonna make some fake blood because it came out of the bathroom. I'm like, wow, that looks really good. She hit lipstick on there. It was great. It was fun. How was how's your following party? Greg? It was good man, Marie Marino show him your costom looked awesome as well.

Thank you that as far as Gump and my fiance was Jenna. So you're gonna gonna dress up on Wednesday, you should come in like that. I don't do that. I really want you to really short shorts were really sure. I really want you to do this. If you want, you can sit behind this people so that like not everyone gets see my junk. Ye. Well yeah, yeah pretty much, dude. It was. It was crazy. I couldn't like, maybe I'll bring the wig. At least is the internet working for you? Um,

because it's not working for me? Yeah? Is just spontaneously combusting all at once. The internetworks for sure anywayy So only party was great. Maria Marino came. She was Lara Croft, yeah, interest and she hung out all night too. Party started at nine. She got it like nine thirty. It's like one a half late. Start. Alright, well we're not I'm not that young, you know that old anymore. So we have a lot of food, a lot of alcohol. I took. I took a shot Marino, which is great. She's like,

I'm not drinking. It was like, you're drinking this shots. That was cool. I'm not drinking to the party. Didn't drink. She did. She she had a next thing you knew she She had a cold shots, a couple of beers. She was good. Do you make a like a We didn't any No, we didn't make any dreams. We made food that we had, like the pumpkin Judy, what a ham? We have banana bread. She made some pumpkin dip. She made this really cheesy dip. I made guacmably, lots of

finger foods, lots of dips. We did, we did, we all and then somebody dressed up as something from McDonald's, like on Loving It commercial or something. But more importantly, they brought McDonald's So that was awesome. Did they bring the mick rib? I see everyone on social media nuggets and fries, is like, is this eating. Can we eat this eat? Yeah? You're about it? Was I take it back. She didn't say that. I was putting words in her mouth.

We're not in the building today, shop here tomorrow maybe hopefully. Yeah. I feel like I haven't seen Maria like two weeks, same bed. That's the non work thing, of course. Um, what kind of shots did you take? I like tequila shots, you know that shots. So my brother asked me if I could bring a you know, the Jack Captain Morgan pumpkin blasts or whatever. So they didn't have it, but they had sour green apple bust that was good. Yeah, that's great, dude. It smells like jolly ranches. Why do

you Why do you bring here? When's that during the show? Uh? If there's any left? I left it at my parents house. There's any left? So yeah, stop by, I'll see, well is any left? I want you to buy it? I'm definitely not. We'll take a shot during the BFFs on Wednesday. Has that and everybody watching listening to take a shot with those two hallow. You got it, I mean you got it, no doubt about it. Okay, let's get into the biggest stories from the weekend and of course, the

big stories the Weekend is from today. Just moments before the show began, Hugh Jackson no longer the head coach of the Cleveland Browns becomes the sixth consecutive coach in Cleveland get fired after the second Steelers loss of the season. That is a wild like quinky dink, How is that even possible? Well, Steelers, they consider the Browns consider the Steelers are arch rivals. Oh, I wonder if the Steelers feel the same way. Probably not, And so there it goes.

Hugh Jackson fired. After the game, Myles Garrett was asked, you what happened? He's like, honestly, I don't know why. We didn't do the same game plan we did week one where we played well and we should have won, but we tied. So there was a report before the game that if the Browns lost and got embarrassed that Todd Haley would be fired instead. Hugh is gone. The Browns now have a ton of time to go find

their next head coach. They don't have to rush and find the next hot coordinator, kind of like they did with Hugh. Amazingly enough, he was the hot corn hinter at the time. So we'll see you guys, never a hot court only to the Cleveland brown No, the Jets one him too. He never made it to New York. True story, true story. Ultimately, it will be interesting to see who they bring in. Maybe they go in the college ranks. Maybe they um go with a proven head

coach this time. I don't know. We also don't have word yet who will take over the team, whether it be Todd Haley, Greg Williams or or somebody else. What a cast of characters, but it will be interesting. Of course. This Sunday, the Cleveland Browns welcome in the Kansas City Chiefs, Todd Haley's ex team. Maybe a little Broadway Baker without Hugh starting Baker Mayfield this week's true Story. Well, yeah, I mean they're gonna be trailing for pretty much all

of that game. Um, I'm I'm sure they already have a total out there. I would guess it's probably close to fifty or over fifty times every game he has been over fifty and rightfully so. But yeah, the story, you know, Cleveland Brown's making moves. It's not surprising, right, Hugh Jackson. I don't know what it is exactly. It's something like three thirty five and one over the past two and a half season. He in his two and a half seasons as the head coach of Cleveland Browns

road game never won a single road game. That is uh wow, that is that is not good. But you know, yesterday, throughout that game, the first quarter, the first half of the game, they were dominating in every possible way and they were losing. It's it's just insane. I it's I don't know what else to say, Like it seems like a long running joke for the Cleveland Browns and it's it's I I don't disagree with this move at all. I mean, I think it's it's likely going to be

Todd Haley. I just I find it surprising that, Um yeah, we got those reports about Todd Haley, and then after the game, Hugh Jackson was like, well, there's you know, there's there's nothing wrong between me and Todd. You know, I never said I want to take over play calling duties. I just said, you know, I want to kind of have some influence on it. And then they get rid of Hugh Jackson, but they keep Todd Haley. So it'll

be interesting to see who they bring in. Um, we're gonna go as far as to say, if you're Cleveland Browns fan, you probably shouldn't have a lot of confidence regardless, Yeah, we're gonna Cleveland. Tron Lou gets fired. So much talent though, Like the Browns has so much talent, dude. The offensive line has underperformed, but you have the quarterback of the future in Baker Mayfield. The I mean, the defense is stout.

You have a really strong defensive line. You have one of the best pass rushers in the league already in Myles Garrett. You have an ascending UH cover corner in Denzel Ward. I mean, all the pieces are here for the makings of a of a great team for the future. For the Cleveland Browns. You have you know, your wide receiver one and Jarvis Landry. You have a young running

back you just drafted out of this year's draft. A lot of the metrics say that he uh looks like he's going to be a successful running back as well. So all the pieces are in place. Continue to build the offensive line, you just I mean, there were a few games this year where like, barring certain coaching decisions,

this team would be oversion field goal. They're not. When they cut their kicker instead of bringing in like a Dan Bailey who didn't want to go there, so they didn't have a chance of Dan Balley, but started bringing in Carl Santos, so exactly a Cairo Santo some one along those lines, running another rookie who still sucks. So bizarre. It's bizarre. There's John Dorsey there. It's not huge Jackson thing. But yeah, look, it's just it's not surprising Anthon's point

from a fantasy perspective. I don't think it changes all that much, probably not, probably not big loser. David a joker yesterday? Yeah, what do you know? The joke is on? You Havevin and Joku didn't even show up in the stat line in any possible way. He didn't even have a target. Did you even run a route? I think he was on the field. He was, I saw him. He did his best joke, David a joke he was. He was the invisible man for Alloway. He did his

best Martavis Bryant impression. There you go, Mary Cooper there Will just kind of lumped them into the same category, Mary Cooper, as many targets as David is Jorki and Martina is Priyant combined yesterday, same amount of Fantasy points too. Yeah, and one of them by one of them didn't play by back to back weeks. What do you know? What do you make of what happened in Oakland? Let's actually start there with the on the field stuff. Oakland was

up big on Indianapolis. Indianapolis was all the way back. Was Gabe's best bet of the week, probably sweating a little bit early on Um. But Oakland, what Oakland does fell apart and and he comes back as your luck once again as a night very nice game. Marlon mack outstanding once again. And for the Oakland Raiders, what do you make other offense sans Mariy Cooper. Yeah, so Doug Martin pretty much filled into that Marshall Lynch role like we expected. I mean, he fumbled and played a part

in them, you know, crumbling down the stretch here. So we'll see, if you know, maybe they take some carries away from Doug Martin. The truth is, I don't really know that they have anywhere else to go. Like they gave Dalen Richard his handful carries or whatever it is, but he had eight targets. Um. It seems like as we expected with the Marii Cooper gone, his PPR floor has been raised. Jalen Richard, that is so absolutely VR.

He's a high inflex every single week. He might even check in as a you know a low nd RB two and PPR just based on those targets and that safety that he provides. Uh. Doug Martin, I thought he looked good running football. I thought the offensive lid played pretty well. But for the past catchers, it's really just a lot of Jared Cook. I think he's the safest one in this passing game aside from Jaylon Chard, and then it's you know, Seth Roberts had four targets, Doory

Nelson had four targets. Martavis Bryant didn't do anything. So I think there will be better games ahead for Jordy Nelson. I just don't know that there's going to be a consistent pass catcher for fantasy purposes at the wide receiver position for this team. It's really it's gonna be a lot of Jared Cooke. I think in games where they're closer or maybe playing with a lead, which to be Frank might not be all that often with the Oakland Raiders. That's where Doug Martin comes into the mix, and then

it's just a lot of Jailan Rechard and PPR. That's what that's what it seems like. The Art Nelson big letdown though Jordy Nelson big lets own, Martavis Brian big lets down. The architect was involved a bit. It was a savvy pick up by you. He's a he's a bye week replacement if you picked him up in the league. He's a touchdown er. Bus He's never gonna be a guy who gets double digit targets or you know, a

big workload. But Seth Roberts is a guy who wanted given we could give you, you know, four for forty a touchdown listen is basically what he did. I get the Raiders are bad and they shouldn't let the Colts back in this game. But I will say this, Marlon Max been outstanding. You know what outstands not just Marlon mac dude. It's gotten better offensive line. Evan Silva was tweeting about this yesterday. They've become one of the elite

offensive lines overnight, Greg so for night. This is what happens when you invest your They drafted Quentin Nelson top whatever, six, seven pick whatever, pick they had, they had the Jets pick, they traded back. They used a second round pick on offensive line as well, and it's really just turn overnight. If you look at Football Outsiders metrics for offensive line their top five and both run bocking and pass boxing. This year, Great Morland Mack, who really couldn't stay on

the field. He's now on the field, worked through an ankle injury and was tremendous. Had at least a hundred and forty total yards and two touchdowns each of the past two games in a top three running back each of the past two weeks. Last week I brought him up as a sell high candidate because people were viewing him as a high end RB two. He is a high end RB two. That's that's where he is right now. Like he's legitimately in trench there. I will say that

there are some tougher matchups coming up. He feasted on the Oakland Raiders this week, which was a great matchup. Buffalo Bills was it was. It should have been a tougher match up than it was last week, but he ran all over them. So I want to see what happens coming out of the by They have to face the Jaguars two times and I think four the next four games, so we'll see if he can excel in those matchups. But right now, if he can stay healthy with this offensive line playing the way it is, he

legitimately is a high end RB two. I'm I'm going to retract what I said last week. He's not He's not just the week I apologize. He's not just a sell high for the sake of selling, like he's did you buy? Are you buying Marlon Mack? I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna buy him because his price is gonna be so high right now, like people are gonna want RB one value back and rightfully so totally, totally. We'll take a break here, we'll come back a little around the NFL all the big stuff. We're gonna hit it

when we come back. This is your fantasy best Friends forever on the Fantasy Sports radio network. Daily Rodo dot Com learned from the game's best DFS players. We don't just give you premier advice. We play every day, all

major sports, all year round. We never stopped industry leading DBS tools and custom projections, and now the Daily Rodo dot Com optimize that in minutes building optimize line up for cast games and turneys learned from the game's best DFS players joined Daily Rodo dot com that good Dogs, Good Dog. Back back with you, Fantasy best friends forever. Fantasy cords are readier and now we're at Frankie Snaffle,

Greg Sausman here with you. Franky. You mentioned Jacksonville jack bars a second ago as a team that the Occults have to face twice in the next four weeks. Coming out of there by. Jacksonville yesterday played the early game in London against the Philadelphia Eagles and Blake Portals. Espite actually a really good game. Two of these six he actually looked okay, um they fell and the offense is a mess there three and five. Again, it's a very willable division, but Jacksonville a bit of a mess at

the moment. I want to start with their running game before they're running defense. The most carries forty three yards rushing again face a Philly defense, and he's a very good rush defense. Carlos hid had six carries. T J Yeldan had just to Leonard four. Nett is supposed to be back on the time by the time the Jacksonville Jaguars get out of there by what do you do

with the actually was running game right now? Yes, So my first thought when I saw this yesterday was heading into their by with Leonard Fournett expected to be back, Carlos Hyde is a is gonna be a borderline drop candidate, which is crazy, but considering they traded for him to like, why do you trade for Carlos Hyde? Is it just insurance? Like? Is that the sole reason? I mean, they must be

really worried about Leonard Fournette. I thought there was a chance that Leonard Fournet would land on the I R. It has not happened. They're probably they're gonna hope that he practices that first, you know, week coming out of the bye and see what happens with him. Um, maybe there's a chance that happens then, but it seems as of right now, coming out of the bye, Leonard Fournett is going to be back, which will put push Carlos Hide to third on the depth chart. And if that's

the case, then yes he is droppable. But do you do it now? I think there's like six teams on a buy in week nine, you might not have a choice. Yeah, you might not have a choice, and we'll get into that tomorrow um on the ad Drop program. But you might not have a choice. But the jop Carlos Hide this week as he's one of those one of those players that are on one of those six teams with a buy, one of those guys you may want to pick up again it is a team on a buy,

but it's worth stating. Corey Clement had four carries yesterday for Philadelphia. Wendell Smallwood had eight. The leading rusher who had the most carries yesterday, Josh Adams, had a great preseason, inactive early on and the j G I injury opened things up for Adams. He had nine carries for sixty one yards. Most of that came in the second half where if you saw him, he looked really good running the football. I know, Frank, you don't like at all

investing in Philadelphia running backs. You don't trust Doug Peterson at all. What do you make of Josh Adams? Yeah, he've written well yesterday six eight yards per carry, nine carries for sixty one yards. But if you look at the running back breakdown, I mean there were three different running backs. I got at least four carries here, Wendel Smallwood had eight four Corey Clement had four for six. I mean he's been god awful. It's not like any one of them is making a lot of noise in

the past game. When Smallwood did catch a touchdown yesterday, but it was only targeted three times. So it's just a mess. It's a it's a three way running back by committee. It's more of the same from Doug Peterson. It's part of the reason I told people to avoid j J. I and drafts. I had him, had him ranks, you know, lower than the consensus coming into the year. While you know, I thought j J. I was a talented player. It's just you never know. With Doug Peterson

and his running backs. I mean, this is exactly what he showed us, what three years in a row now, and I don't think that he's going to shy away from it. Yeah, I I agree with you. And as soon as you trust a Philly running back, you're going to get let down. The problem is you don't know which one to play right like that. That's I mean, look, you can own all three. When a small Wood seems like he's been the most fantasy viable because he's actually

the one scoring touchdowns. But you never, like, next week it could be Josh Adams got to go on touchdow and you know they can, uh, they'll bring in Mike Gillisy. Then you know they'll they'll find they'll find uh Ryan Matthews in retirement somewhere and bring him back on Tuesday. Who knows. Yeah, I mean that could be a thing too. And then you know everyone just assumes that it would be a great thing for li Chram McClay. But how do you know based on anything that Doug Peterson has done.

I mean, when Charlot McCoy could come in and he'll be part of the rotation. Yeah, he'll get twelve carries, he'll get you know, three or four targets. But then you know, Windel small Wood will still get involved, Josh Adams will still get involved, like regardless of who they bring in there. I mean, Doug Peterson is not going to change his ways. I mean he's he's been a you know, a winning quarterback, I mean a winning coach, So I mean, why would he change anything that he's done.

He's gonna continue to do it. One of the one of the Super Bowl last year of course doing things his way. I agree with you, Frank. It ultimately does continue imagined. At the top of the show, we saw the return of fitz Magic. Yesterday, Javis Winstein was brutal throughout. The Bucks were down a bunch. Next Giant's head coach, Greg, I mean quarterback, you know what's going on, He's the next quarterback. New York Times take You're shot in the dark.

See young enough to turn around? Why not? The Bucks were down really really big yesterday, are down thirty four to nine or sixteen, I think it was. We had a look. It was definitely it was at least twenty seven nine at some point this game, because it was definitely twenty seven nine. I don't know if there's a half at the half, I know that it was. I think it was thirty sixteen when fitz came in, though it was Nevertheless, jamis benched, fitz Magic brings them all

the way back and then they lose. I mean that that was the most Tampa Bay thing that could have ever happen. Ever. Um, yeah, it's just you can't make the stuff up with Ryan Fitzpatrick. But if you look at how bad the defense is on Tampa Bay and we every single week we talked about volume for Jameis Winston. I mean that's going to be the case for Brian Fitzpatrick. They declined to name a starting quarterback after the game. We'll see what happens throughout this week. They faced Carolina

next week. It's a division game where they're probably going to get stomped on based on how the Panthers looked yesterday against the Ravens. But I do think that they if they want to give themselves the best chance to win this game, it's going to be with Ryan Fitzpatrick as the quarterback. I think Damis Winston being benched in this game four interceptions, some really bad interceptions to Greg like these throws were not close. I think his time

in Tampa's done. Like I think he's just I think, yeah, I mean absolutely um And you know, I honestly believe that if they don't fight back in that game, and they honestly lose that game by like three touchdowns, We're talking about Dirk Cutter as the coach fire today as well. So but because they you know, they kind of climbed back into it because of Ryan Fitzpatrick. Dirk Cutter lives to see another week, but it fits was dropped, which he likely was. He was, he definitely was in Um.

You know, in two quarterback leagues, you're gonna have to spend money you get this guy back. Everything we said about Jamis. You know, we rank him every single week in the top ten quarterback. The same hold truth for Ryan Fitzpatrick. And we saw it in the first couple of the first couple of weeks of the season. I mean, he's the perfect fantasy quarterback. He's gonna go out there, he's gonna wing it, he's gonna throw it down the field.

He's gonna give his wide receivers, who are great wide receivers, opportunities to make plays in Mike Evans and the Sean Jackson, if Sean Jackson is still on the team, Chris god Win, the tight ends. I mean, he's gonna give them a chance. If you're in a two quarterback league, you're dropping big money on Rocket fits Patrick this week. There you go. You have from Reggy Standfill speaking of revenge against me?

How dare you question? How dare the being is? I knew it was a good match up two because I wrote up Ronald Jones this week. Nald Jones two, Gary's negative three yards in the in the best Fantasy five knew that it was a good matchup and all out and said, I hate you Tampa Bay. Yeah great, what I mean whatever? Kudos to Peyton Barbi five yards for carry,

scored a touchdown. Mike Evans also did his job six receptions, a hundred and seventy nine yards and a touchdown, but he did leave this game late with a leg or a knee injury or waiting war on that. Yeah. Look, it's just it's more of the same with fits right. Whenever he's in there, he's gonna make his his players fantasy vible. We really need Mike Evans too to be healthy here, especially the way he's played this year. I

mean consensus, you know, top ten wide receiver. H we when we did the shows before the season, Greg, we were kind of worried about Mike Evans, you know, of the wide receiver going in the first two rounds. He thought, you know, he might be the one most likely to bust. He has done completely the opposite. He's been great for fantasy purposes this year. But we do need him to be healthy. You know, a real a dud yesterday from Chris Godwin, which just sucks. I started. I finally decided

to start Chris Godwin over Sammy Watkins. That went over terribly obviously. Adam Humphreys targeted ten times in this game. This is part of what's what limits the wide receivers here. Outside of Mike Evans, you know, he's gonna get his I mean, he's had some down games, but he obviously has the biggest upside of all the players. Adam Humphreys gets sprinkled in a little bit here. Ten targets to Shawn Jackson, eight targets Chris Godwin, seven targets O. J.

Howard four, Whiz Rogers four. Like, you're just gonna spread the ball around. So outside of Mike Evans and the tight ends, I mean you, I mean you're gonna start O. J. Howard every single week based on the way he's playing. It's just it's a lot of mix and match with the Shawan Jackson and Chris Godwin. I mean, there's gonna be inconsistency there is on the other side, Tyler Boyd, would you trade a J. Greenver? Tyler Boyd right now just asking I'm a little maddie. If you're asking why

I don't. I don't think it's a viable thing, but I don't think that's a real question. Tyler Boyd had a monster game in this game, don't get me wrong. Ten receptions, I mean ten targets, nine receptions, fifty yards and a touchdown. We continue to see the evolution of the slot receiver. The slot receiver in UH for fantasy purposes right now, Adam Feeling, Marson, Tyler, Calvin Ridley is the one. A J. Green, Julio Jones are more. He called it earlier on in the season. I'm I'm not

doing that. A J. Green has still been great for fantasy purposes, but it's the evolution of the slot receiver. Greg Adam Feeling getting it done, Tyler at getting it's one here. UH. The offense just runs through Tyler Boyd, A J. Green, and Joe Mason every single week. Joe Maxon absolutely phenomenal in this game here. Look to start all your players against Tampa Bay, all the all the main offensive weapons against Tampa Bay. That's what we're doing

every single week. Joe Maxon has been phenomenal. I would board is a high and wider sever two. You just want to chime in on this. As good as Tyler Boyd has been, and he's been unbelievable one percent, No one's talking about A J. Green who's being even better. That's exactly why I said I wouldn't do it. Receptions seven yards, six touchdowns, he's been, he's been, he's been awesome, and noo he's talking about that. Yeah. I mean a lot of it was that I do three touchdown performance

against the Baltimore Ravens. But he's been consistent. You look at A J. Green. I mean, this is a guy who felt half second round last year and this year. I mean, and some people didn't even want him and the Bengals offense under Bill Laser, I mean give him credit. He's he's taken three guys and said these are my three guys, and he's made those three guys and Joe Mason, Boyd and AJ Green extremely fantasy viable every single week. Bleas your report tweeted out or post on instagrams of

fire head coach Hugh Jackson like by Josh Gordon. Oh damn, just desserts, Josh E g. Josh Gordon goers tonight of course, or the Pats again in that within football game against the Bills in Green Bay or in l A yesterday, I should say with green Bay, great game lived up to the hype. It was awesome, fun game back, a little bit of a throwback game. A lot of like running the football. You don't see like Aaron Aaron Jones.

You know, you don't see Aaron Rodgers just winging it around because that's a lot of what we've seen this here. We we haven't seen a lot of you know, them running the ball and running the ball successfully too. I mean credit to the Packers offensive line. They look pretty good in this one. Um. But yeah, look, Aaron Jones just continue to do this. But his upside is cat because he only gets twelve carries a game like Philadelphia.

I mean not to the same extent, because there's really only two guys here between Aaron Jones and Jamal Willis. But Jamal Williams volting a touchdown, Aaron Jones could have had a second touchdown. He's very funny. He talked about that there's only two guys here, but the story of the game was the third guy. It's a time Montgomery who and the drive before gets pulled and he wasn't very happy, slammed his helmet down, starts cursing and whining on the sidelines, and then every him I would see,

I would be shocked. He's not cut today. Um. Then every coach on the sideline was like, listen, Neil, get the ball. Neil and Rogers with two minutes to get fifty yards for the field goal. That'll take two plays on the Packers. If you if you're upset with the guy, right, why do you even put him back there to return the kick? Well, you were an upset with him, he was upset with you. You were. It's high at all. He was upset. He was upset that he can come out.

I'll find Listen, I'm finely the player getting upset for not playing. He wants to make a play. I understand that. But when your coach specifically say something, kneel down. When you have Aaron freaking Rogers as your quarterback who only has to go fifty yards for a Mason Crosby field goal to win the game and beat the best team in the NF. Hell, you don't take matters in your own hands. That's selfish And I don't know how time Ongomery looks his coaches and his teammates in the eye

after doing what he did, disobeying and then funneling. Listen, fubbles happened. It sucks, but when your coaches tell you to do something you just blatantly disobeyed, it's unacceptable. He deserves to be cut to that, and he declined to comment after the game to not talked reorders, especially after I mean a game like that, I guess, I mean from his perspective, I mean, what are you gonna say, right, it's crazy, But look, Aaron Jones seven point two yards

for carrying more of the same. I mean, the guys just not getting enough carries. That's why he's gonna continue to remain in the flex discussion. He he can't be higher than that. You can't view Aaron Jones as a low n RB two because he just doesn't get enough work as efficient as he is. The Packers, for whatever reason, still need feel the need to give Jamal Williams flour carries a game, give Time Ontgomery two carries a game.

If you give all of that to Aaron Jones, then you're looking at a twenty carry running back and then based on his efficiency, I mean, it would be awesome for fantasy purposes. But it just doesn't look like it's gonna happen. It's continuously been that way all year for Mike McCarthy and the Packers. I don't know what is going to change his mind, aside from an injury to

Jamal Williams and the Packers wide receiver's perspective. Greg I thought this was a really interesting game here because Davanta Adams still did his thing. Um, he had seven targets, he had you know, the five for one thirty three. But what do you make of the Packers wide receivers outside of that? We saw the snaps yesterday. Uh and again I retweeted this from Evan Silva. Davanta Adams played forty of fifty two snaps, Mark haz Velda Scantley a k A. M v S thirty one snaps, Deronto Allison

thirty snaps, Randall cop four, Equanimia st. Brown six snaps. So outside of Davanta Adams, it's really a crapshoot, both in terms of snaps and targets n vs. Five targets. Yes, he did have two receptions for forty five yards in a touchdown, but again he was only targeted five times. He only called two of those. Randall Cobb only five targets. E s b only two targets, Toronto Allison only one target.

Outside of Davantae ad him, the Packers wide receiver situation is a mess, and in turn it's actually it hurt Jimmy Grammyesterdy too because he was only targeted four times, only hauled in one catch for twenty one yards. So outside of Davanta Adams, I don't know who you trust on the Packers offense for fantasy purposes right now? Have you answered that question? Just a second rap sheet on the NFL network just now. From what I hear, Baker Mayfield not upset the Baker that Hugh Jason's gone. You

don't say he's just pile on man. You just pile on poor you lean browns man, poor? You would you feel bad for him? The only thing I feel bad about is the you know, we had that emotional episode of Hard Knocks before the season, you know, his mom passing me. I mean it was a sad moment for him. And then obviously, I mean, all this happens. What it comes down to is, look, hut, there are there are guys in the NFL coaches specifically, who are just better

at being coordinators. I mean, you Rex Ryan was a successful head coach, He's probably better as a coordinator. I mean, they're just guys who are better s coordinators. And I think Hugh Jackson is one of these guys who. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if five years from now we're talking about Hugh Jackson doing a great job for a team somewhere as a coordinator and he's being looked at as a as a It means it just happens. These guys get recycled. I mean the same thing will probably

happen with Ben McAdoo in the NFL. Greg. These guys just get recycled. Some of them are just better off being coordinators. Hugh Jackson is one of those guys you shouldn't have been a head coach. Going back to Green Bay as a Jonava Allison Truther and owner everywhere, very nervous about yesterday. UM true story. So I own in this lead Where'm up? Seventeen? Now? I owned Davante Adams and I needed some point. I was texting these guys Flora and Frank. I needed points Boom bomba Davanta Adams

and are feeling great. Later on in that drive, our Rodgers threw a pass to the right sideline were touchdown, like nice, Jonava Allison. I got off. I started screaming, and she was like, can you chill out? And I was like, I apologize, I was actually and the s wrong. Guy. I'm gonna go sit corner. Now. I probably memorize teams, receiver jersey numbers or from my from my players, of course, yeah, I mean I just try to like memorize all of them.

I can't remember, like so, I mean, it's really close to so I I could admittedly got confused and for the Rams in the same game because like Robert Woods, it's tough to notice Robert Woods and Brandon Cooks is one, it's twelve one seventeen, so when they catch the volume, like which one is it? Because they all play the same position. Brandon Cooks is a lot smaller than and seems like it at least they all run the same positions in the same route, so it's impossible to realize

so hard. It's so hard, very nervous though, as an Aliceon owner, as a combo owners should be nervous as well. And mbs, how do you throw them out there. It could be any wide receiver any given week. To the Adams, the only save option in Green Bay. Will take a break and continue around the NFL. Bff's next. If you're someone that needs fantasy sports advice every day, the Fantasy

I just doesn't stop scoring touchdowns. So ridiculous. Now that's it. Uh. Jared Golf great game three continues to do his part in this offense as well. But outside of that, No, it's pretty much everything that we expected to happen. Brandon Cooks, Robert Woods. We're probably expecting better games out of those guys, to be honest. Both had over seventy receiving yards. But again, just a lot of consistency from their weapons. Mm hmmm. The I'm moving on. Let's see. We don't want to

go next. What do you want to go next? Gregy bounce around? Were talking about Adrian Peterson? Please? Yes, man, I mean what I mean? So, I was looking at Adrian. He's just defying all Like. Adrian Peterson has at least ninety yards rushing in five out of his seven teams games, five out of seven. You get that tweet from me yesterday. No, I didn't even know that. I just looked at myself this morning. You twooted that out. Yeah, I was tweeting. I mean what he's done. I apologize I didn't. No, No,

it's cool. I mean you have access to all the same information I do. It's perfectly fine. I tweeted this out yesterday. He has had seventeen or more carries in five of seven games. Those or those the five games they've won. Do you know that I can look that up. I do not know, but that is a good question. He's had twenty four or more carries in three of those games. Twenty four or more carried in three out of seven games this year. Is Adrian Peterson, the guy

who's like thirty three years old. So I can confirm the only two games where you do not have at least ninety yards rushing or and at least seventeen carries, he's there. Two games they lost. One was a blowout to New Orleans. I think the really not perfect spot for Adrian Peterson. We get that. The other one was the weird loss to the Colts. Eleven carries, twenty yards really got nothing going on. I know there's a bit

of a weird game. Um, but yeah, Frank, he mentioned seventeen at least seventeen carries, Well, there's only one game with seventeen carriers. Next games, only one game with nineteen carries. The other three of those games over twenty four or more to be exactly, it's not just like all right, he's around, you know, eighteen twenties. This guy is getting mid twenties in terms of carries. In these games where Washington is winning, I mean, we're right back to classic

Alex Smith. This is exactly at Washington is playing good defense right now outside of that New Orleans Saints game, and they're asking Alex Smith to do just enough to manage the game and make sure that they win. And they're just putting it all on the back of Adrian Peterson. What do they care. I mean, they're gonna run the guy into the ground for this year. They have Darius guys coming back next year, so they're just gonna continue

to ride them. And this is a lot of the same game script that you should expect from Washington moving forward. I mean, maybe in games where you know they're going

up against more potent offenses. I don't have their schedule in front of me, But in games where they're gonna face you know, the Rams or uh, you know, the Packers or a Chiefs teams like that, maybe you know, Adrian Peterson takes a little bit of a back seat because they're they're likely trailing and you get a little bit of back and forth, but in just these normal, like close games with Washington, Adrian Peterson is going to

be the guy. He's been absolutely ridiculous, man. I mean, shout out to Adrian Peterson um getting it done for fantasy purposes. Is he is he an RB one on the season right now? He is right, He's gotta be No, he's RB eight RB eight right now. Adrian Peterson, a guy who was you know, signed late in camp, was going in probably like the later ish mid rounds. He's gonna from like what the ninth to like the twelfth round. I was rebother to say he was going to ten

to eleven. Yeah, great. I mean he's been one of the breakout fantasy picks this here, and who would have thought, you know, with week eight just about over that that's what would be saying about Adrian Peterson. But you know, shout out to him and Washington. I liked their offensive line a lot coming into the season. It's part of the reason why we like Darius and Adrian Peterson has just pretty much done what we would have expected Darius

guys to do, absolutely even more. He's been fantastic. Giants continue to be broken. Uh, they can't score for the life of them. Um Odo can actually a really nice game yesterday eight for one of thirty six. He was everywhere all over the field except inside the ridiculous ridiculous sake, Quana found no room on the ground. How washing is

a good rush defense, right? I think that they've been like about average solid on the season at thirteen carriage for thirty eight yards, still ten ten targets, nine nine receptions for seventy three yards over hundred and um so Sacon Barkley Odell Beckham is still the offense here. I will note this. I don't know if this will change anything. Uh, Pat Shermurkeena and said today Eli Manning is our quarterback.

Today they're they're on a bye. They placed the four nagers and they come out of the bye, might be a witnable game. He did not say that Eli will be the starting quarterback for that game. He says a little value it dide how little was not active for this game. He's never hasn't been active as he's the third quarterback all season. So who's who's number two? Who's Alex Tanney? Okay, I will say that he's a journeyman. I will say this in regards to like the Davis

Webb thing. David Webb's not currently on a team and just at the squad, so I'm not clearly you can't kill them for that. That's but you can kill them for at some point they will have to like you start the season like one and ten. I mean, just let the guy play the final five games. They see

what he can do, they will, they will. I do like how condensed the Giants targets were in this game though they only had five players, but all five those players were between seven and eleven targets at least four receptions. Just cool. Yeah, so a lot of a lot of condensed targets. I hate when teams just all right, let's get like James O'Shaughnessy involved here for you know, three targets. Let's you know, let's get Wayne Dolman five targets for

no reason that. I like how condensed the targets were. To make me feel a little bit better. The Bears meat the Jets yesterday four and ten. Aren't you the guy who kills me every single time I come in here? I don't care, I don't care. Caress the Jets lost. He's nothing to um poking. It worked. It was very very easy to make work. Uh, Jets had no offense yesterday. I get the Bears are very good defense, but their offense is not existent. They they don't have any receivers.

It's very very tough for them. Sam Donald can't do it by himself. No, he can't. And uh, the play calling has been very vanilla. If you watch this game, it's Jeremy Bates running into the back of his offensive line for the first two downs, and what seemingly every single time I looked up, Sam Donald was in a third and long situation against one of the best defenses in the league in Chicago with swirling winds. I mean,

what are expect the kid to do? And I actually saw after the game for the first time, Sam Donald was actually vocal about this like he was he was mad because there was like six pre snap penalties yesterday. So he's not getting any help from the offensive line. They're putting them in third and long situations. Vanilla play calling from Jeremy Bates. Todd Bowles came out after the game and said, I love this team's effort. They stood together. You lost by fourteen points and you put up ten points.

Did play well? He's another guy. He's on the hot seat. Look the next two games Miami Dolphins against brock Oswilder and the Buffalo Bills. If you don't if they lose to the Miami Dolphins, if they lose, I don't know. I think they I think they lose both. He's gone because they're losing convincing fashions to the Dolphins. He's gone. You don't think, Yeah, you're placing within season. I guess

it doesn't matter. You don't care about that. Yeah, I mean they're gonna go in another direction anyway what they need. And you can see it very clearly on the other side of the football. Here is when you have a creative offensive mind. We've now, you know, we thought that there was a chance that this could happen with uh kind of becoming the Sean McVeigh. He's not to that level because Sean mcveigh's is like on a whole another level. But Matt Neggie creative offensive mind. Look at what he's

done with Mr Bisky. I mean Mr Bisky for what I mean, he's been fine for what the Bears want him to do. And you might say, all right, whatever, he's a system quarterback. He's working well within the system. I still think that there are a lot of things that he needs to get better at from an actual NFL reality perspective. But he's getting it done for the Bears. He's doing enough for them to compete in games, and

he's getting it done for fantasy purposes. You guys had forty seven or more rushing yards for three straight games. He's you know, he's rushing the he's getting things done with his legs um to twenty and two touchdowns here in a game where they scored for twenty four points. He was a lot of the offense without Alan Robinson. They did lean on that running games. Are he Colling only carry the ball five times at four yards rushing only car I watched this entire game. They didn't need

him to do anything else. He had the only one cash for seven yards and a touchdown, But they're using three killen. Did you see that play? Too? Awesome? If the thing is that's just like, it's a really really bad break for the Jets. And it's also very dumb that they didn't have a guy spying on Treko and

on that play. Obviously, but they went all out blitz and they called the screen pass against it, and it's like, there's literally nothing more that you can ask for as a Bears perfect and fantasy owner, Like it was just perfect play call against the blitz and a bad break for the Jets. But Jordan Howard so early on, he had not he had nothing. The Bears do what they could get him, absolutely, but they did what they could to get him involved. It wasn't even good either, like

three point seven yards per carry. He had one long run of twenty four yards. You're telling you I watched this game. He did not look good In games where the Bears are actually going to have an opponent on the other side of the field, because they didn't have one in this game against the Jets. They will use Trekohan because he gives them their best opportunity to not only move the board ball, but to score points, get

down the field, get inside the red zone. And yeah, now is the time to trade Jordan how I mean you got if you can you can. Yeah, I mean, I'm not just gonna say training for the sake of training him, but if you could get RB two value back for him, right now, we just trade Jordan how for Adrian Peterson? Do you think you can get that? Thanks fair deal? Yeah? I would do that, yes, And you'd rather have Adrian Peters yes, undoubtedly, yes and something

I don't know if you can do it, I'm buying him. Uh, quickly here, I want let's actually sign off YouTube now. Uh. Corey Parson and Chris Ventra and Jim Day come up next. It's Chris Ventra hosting the Fantasy Football Frenzy. A story, by the way, awesome story and I want to get into the chiefs now so it works perfectly. I was. I was here yesterday with Corey and Coreyes, do remember what I said about him Friday at Sammy Watkins. He

liked to me go, No, I didn't. Chris Ventra says he's gonna two touchdowns, and Corey responded, if you scored. If he scores two touchdowns, you're hosting the frenzy. He did by. Corey is a man of his word. Chris Ventra, sitting in this very chair, will host the Fantasy Football Frenzy coming up next. And you're listening on a podcast. Please subscribe like Ray, give us five stars and leave a comment, and you're live on our radio network. We

appreciate it, and we'll go another five minutes. Let's get into the Chiefs. Tyreek Hill left this one banged up, Sammy Watkins stepped up, Cream Hunt is awesome, and Chiefs rolled. Yeah, Sammy Watkins. Look, I wouldn't have blamed people for mentioning him yesterday. I did it myself. You know. I had him and Chris Godwin ranked very closely. They were low end wide receiver threes for me. Sammy Watkins the past couple of weeks just wasn't doing anything. He was only

involved in games during garbage time. It doesn't seem like he was a pivotal part of the offense. But whenever we start to think that about Sammy Watkins, that's the game where they decided to get him more involved. So, look, he is what he is. He's a boom er bust wide receiver thre three. There are gonna be games where he lets you down, but you need to have him in your line up for the games where he does this, and especially if Tyree Hill misses any time, Sammy Watkins

is gonna be peppered with targets. In that game yesterday, he posted season highs across the board and every single category for the Chiefs. He had nine targets, he had eight receptions, he had a hundred and seven yards, he had two touchdowns. It was his s game as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. You just gotta leave him in your lineup. You gotta live with those dud performances because every now and then you're gonna get this huge performance. You just want as much exposure to the

Chiefs as possible. Kareem Hunt was not efficient running the football, but continues to get targeted heavily, and we love that. Ever since early on in the season, the first couple of games, his targets, I mean I think he was only target one time in each of the first three games, something like that. Ever since then he's been getting you know, five six targets, made the most of it yesterday, five receptions, thirty six yards and that touchdown which might be the

touchdown of the season. Right now, Greg, you saw Kareem Hunt leap over another human being and did it effortlessly. Absolutely, Yeah, there you go. I Thomas straighted before tomorrow. He thinks he is, Yeah, I did, I think I think he will be. Yeah, I do. Um you haven't mad at myself now because I dropped Coral and Sutton I said last week, pick him up, and I was excited. And

then they were you know, they were conflicting reports. Everyone said, we expect to marry Thomas be back, and then he tweets what he tweeted out, and you know he thinks himself that he's gonna be traded. I mean, we'll see what happens before tomorrow though, so you said in this one, DeVante Booker may have been a sleepy start, and he was seventy eight yards seventy eight yards rushing us, rushing in the twenty three in the ground. That's over a hundred yards. You give me that from a flex play.

That's awesome. So you just sneakily started DeVante Booker. It worked out very very well, um actually knowing like Money of the Waters though, once Royce Freeman comes back, because if DeVante Booker continues to play well, they're gonna say, all right, we need to find ways to get him involved now and then you have a three headed committee.

Blue Lindsay is awesome though, like I understand that they used a whatever was third or fourth round pick on Royce Freeman and Philip Lindsay was an undrafted free agent. But lu Lindsay's kind and you know I had him ranked as an RB one this week, and it's it's just awesome when you expect things to happen and then work out exactly the case for Philip Lindsay in this game, he was great. He was absolutely fantastic. Courtland Suton, like you said it to Marius Thomas, doesn't get traded, must add,

must start that good stuff. They ain't even missing, Frank, is there anything that we didn't I mean, you know, we didn't really mention on Washington. Jordan retargeted twelve time destory targeted classic Alex Smith games Seattle Detroit. Seattle wiped the floor Detroit all day long. I will say this, fantastic. Seattle has played well over their past couple of games. Offensive line is stepping up. Kudos. Two. The Seattle Seahawks schedule is about to get real tough. I will say this.

Russell Wilson has many touchdowns yesterday as he did incompletions three of each was about seventeen times. Now gave it more four ninety seven. You you talked about him couple of weeks ago. I laughed at you. Yeah, who's laughing now, Greg? I mean not really Marvin Jones seven one, seventeen and two, particularly that, uh, you know, he has actually the past two games he has out targeted Kenny Golladay by a lot one target for Kenny has three targets over his

last two games. Marvin Jones has something like fourteen ten years today. Yeah, over the last two games. So it just seems like it's a lot of you know, safe floor at the Golden Tape. But you know, we're gonna go back and forth between one week it's gold one week is Marvin Jones, one week it is Keny Golladay.

Frustrating harry On Johnson did leave the backfield eight carries and Garrett Blunt only had three, So it looks like he's running way of the job there, which is good quickly now in Arizona, hilarious lost by the four Niners. They were driving, just needed a field with to tie third down shotgun in formation six seconds on the clock. Bogas over C. J. Bethorn's head disaster. Do you think

the front office was called in too? CJ. Bethoron was like, please just fumble the snap we need you know, we wanted, we want the top draft pick. Uh and gay By the way, now it's Carolina and Baltimore. One more stunk yesterday on the road actually white the floor. Then yeah, the road splits with Baltimore. D J. Moore five or

ninety yesterday based Tampa this week meaning way rewired discussing tomorrow. Yes, we will have all of that tomorrow on the show cut Up Next Fantasy of both Frenzy, Corey Parson, Jim Day and the host the close Up, Chris Ventra for Frankie Standvile. My name is Greg Susill. Thank you so much for watching listening to Van Is the best Friends Forever. We'll do it all again tomorrow, we hope.
