Yeah, this is the Fantasy Best Friends Forever here on the Fantasy Sports Radia Network alongside Frankie Standfell. I am Greg. I what's going on Monday? Breggy? Week seven? Nearly in the books out a Monday night game here, dirty Birds going up against your New York Football Giants. Yes, sir,
are the weekend? Greg? How was you wanted to do this weekend? I had a wedding on Saturday. Whole life is a blur. At a wedding on Saturday night. I spent all of Saturday. All right, we talked about this. You have like a big boy thing to do every week you said I have a wedding Saturday night, and I tried. My entire Saturday was spent trying to tie a bow tie. Entire Saturday, so about two hours worth and then tie a bow time. Yeah, so about two hours worth, from twelve to two was on that. Then
I caught up on some TV. Um then you didn't help you. I was. I was on YouTube for hours figure it out. It was hard. It's still hard. Two hours. And then when it was go time at five o'clock to actually with the boat tie on, I struggled. Man, we got we got more time on the boat time, we got it. It looked great. Damn was a struggle, looking like a little Ken Rosenthal action got the boat tie go. It was touched on. Man, he had to nice. Do you have any pictures? Yeah, pictures, It would have
been nice. You know. I didn't know. I didn't know I was heard. I didn't know I was gonna open the boat tie story. I knew it was coming, but I just didn't I didn't know it was We're starting there. Oh is this an old picture? Now? Is this from this weekend Saturday? I feel like you have another picture exactly like this on your Facebook me wearing a boat. Time use one of these cameras, this one, that one in the main camera with main camera here, um, zoom
in here little Gregg's suspen action with a yeah. I mean the boat tie looks pretty good. I mean that's late in the night too. Something guy's both tiesn't even done. I mean it's late in the night. All right, Well, we're good about the cameras. Well it here you went about here, here's early in the night. There's earlier in the night for you, Oh Greggy, Yeah, it looks good. Look great, little Judy action that little what is that champagne?
What you got there? Yeah, well champagne. It's earlier the night. Here you go, look at this, little Greg looks at nice man, look good, clear popular person, you know, clean up nice? Right. People just NonStop texting you all day. It's group. It's a group message. You're in like eighteen groups because whenever your phone is near me or your laptop is near me, just things are just lightening up.
I got like what's app? Not like pick messenger? You got text messaging, you don't use that either, well, instant messenger, you got things going on. You got g chat open with like eighteen different people. You're a very popular person, Greg, Well, a group. I have my two group chats. I mean you have one in your your phone lights of all day with bit texting yah, NonStop. I mean not just BIP usually just BIP. All right. Well, you know I can. We can't all be as popular as Greg sauce. That's
what it comes down. Nevertheless, your your phones. Your phone is always going off. Also, um, yeah, I gotta I got a lot. We got a lot going on here, you got Yeah. What did you do this week? What do I do this weekend? Um? A lot of Halloween, trying to get into the spirit, watching some scary movies. I watched, uh, the first Michael mar movie that was directed by Rob Zombie, So I watched that. I watched Veronica on Netflix, and I played football. I went to
the Jet game yesterday. Came home from the Jet game at like eight o'clock at night because it takes like three hours to get home in traffic from MetLife Stadium. So that was a disaster. So I spent the rest of the night watching the Chiefs and trying to catch up on everything else that I missed. So old wad of football playing, watching and then trying to get in
the Halloween spirit. Pretty much it. Yeah, I had a pad weekend, except for the fact that you know, every week now that I played football, I come in here on Monday. I tell you that, like, I feel like I've aged by fifty years overnight. You were you were like, like, I've got crank walked into the studio. It's only two hands. It was only two in touch again, A little bit of everything everything. Yeah, yeah. I spent yesterday grocery shopping and then sitting in the catch watching football. Was it
all right? The lot of be grocery shop this week? A grocery shop because we have the Holliween party, Trader Joe's, the Trader Joe's shop, So predictable, is it? It's the most affordable, all right? Only trading? I mean it's fine, it's fun. Trader Jos. Yeah, no, there's nothing wrong with it. I traded Joe's fried mac and cheese ball. Didn't buy them. Why not? Because to tell you to get one of my fried stuff? Really? Why not? It's not healthy for you. Oh,
it's not healthy for you. Probably live once, Greg, We'll say this, get ready, Frank. This week, I hope we are making our own noki or like about the potatoes, the flower and the egg. It's hard to make. I'm good. I'm gonna find out. Well, yeah, let me know, let me know, let me know what the rest of it is, how it goes down, because I am down to do it. A little creamy pesto and nioki very good, and I bought the basil for the creamy pestlets breaking. Let's do it, man,
all right, let's get to the football. I was gonna say, you know, did anything stay ne to you football wise this weekend? Or we're just gonna talk about Trader Chris Paul? You want whatever? We'll up to that Sunday morning. I mean, it was kind of cool. I didn't stay up late enough to actually see it happened live. We'll go to a Sunday morning A show I saw. I was up late eno because it was the wedding, But I was like, when I saw what happened, was what the hell is
going on? Chris Lebrown was like holding Chris Paul back? Yeah. Do you find it weird that Chris Paul is always kind of in the circle of like controversies NBA, Yet he's the head of the player's association. Well I don't saw him. That doesn't bother me. Yeah, that doesn't bother just But I think that represent the players a little bit better. I mean not that you know, if you get spit on, I understand yourself or whatever is today? Other basketball man you got you know, you got a
little two piece action in there. You got you got hit by Rondo. Man, he got rocked. And then you see Brandon Ingram come in like a little jerk in the background, Like that's so like typical like today's you know, a guy coming in from behind trying to like sucker pump somebody, like, come on, dude, Brandon Ingram, Chris Paul, don't love to be your dad. I likely you said no, you didn't want to talk about this, Sorry, Toby, Sorry you wanted to, man, Okay, I don't know I wanted to.
It just kind of happens to happen. Let's get in the NFL from yesterday. What's that the most Frankie um the Jets. I was then in a car for like the next three hours. No. I was like, we did like a pretail gate. We did like a post hail gate. Oh my god. Yeah, so lots of burgers, more beer afterwards, like and again, I didn't get home until like eight o'clock. Um, well, well we did see you know a clock in that night.
Game was just utter, utter domination once again. The Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes Kareem Hunt, and I tweeted this out yesterday. I told you a couple of weeks ago, I traded away Kareem Hunt to get David Johnson and Julian Edelman. Kareem Hunt outscored both of those, you know. I mean, look, at the time, you think you're getting RB one back, you're getting a rock solid wide receiver
to um. But it's obvious that if things get off to a slow start, if you do have competent coaches and offensive minds that know how to scheme your players and use them correctly, that things can turn around very quickly. We're all so worried about Kareem Hunt the first three games of the season, not getting targeted, not catching passes out of the backfield. Look what he's done the past
for you. When you have Andy Reid, when you have competent coaches, you know, not named Mike McCoy for one with the Arizona Cardinals, we'll see if you know Byron Leftwich could turn this around. Um. But yeah, I mean they look if teams know how to use their best players, these are the types of things that can happen with cream Hunt. So I feel pretty dumb. I feel pretty
stupid that I traded him away ultimately. But for people who held on to Kareem Hunt, um and had faith in him, mainly you shout out to Greg Susman, Um, Frank, you gotta feel good. Very rarely gives me credit, but yesterday he was all about it. It was awesome. Yeah. I was little intoxicated too, so I was like feeling like that's why. Yeah, you know, like I was like, you know what, God, Greg, you were so right man.
Then we woke up today and I'm like, what a text Craig that you know, like, now he's gonna you know the high Horse break said out was right about Kareem Hunt. Well I wasn't. I wasn't. You're being nice. I know I don't do that often, but if you catch me on the right day, the right amount of beer, it was great because you gave me credit for Creem Hunt and Alex Lennon, which was crazy because I was already, So I was already to wake up uh this morning to the text from Frank about Alex Letton and then
I started. I was like, it was like lan a clock last night or so, and there was watching TV and I looked at my fantasy, our fantasy of basketball, my help, my other the actually came up first, so I looked at Tray. I was like, oh my god, Dreng. Within seconds of me looking at Trey Young's line, Frank text me, He's like, dude, And this could have been anything, and it could have been like he's not going to work tonight. It could it could have been like you
did you really e something up? Like I was really nervous that that dude was about and it was just like have you seen the Hawks? Yeah, Trang is the best. It's like Keeve Alex lenn It's like, oh my god, it was awesome. Again, we're in a football conversation. We're just steering very quickly into uh into basketball, and it is a fun time right now between obviously football basketball in the World Series going on. But he's probably get
more into football. Fine, fair enough. We have to control ourselves, Gregg. Maybe another day we'll be able to talk about basketball. He's not that too. All right, let's get let's get let's get into it. Let's get into it. You mentioned the Jets because that that was the only thing you at, which is fine. Justin Tucker missed the first extra point of his career. Ravens fault to the Saints. Crazy because what was the friend of that game? Two and a
half point unbelievable man on the leave, dude. What was even crazier about that is I bet the under at forty nine, So what was that would have made it? What was it? The final was saying it was twenty four to twenty three. That would have tied the game and made it forty eight total points, which they would have went into overtime. The only way I cashed on the under is if the game obviously ends in a tie. So that was not gonna happen. There was no way like there was either going to get a feel act.
I mean, there's a lot of times, very small chance, very small, dude, they're going over time yet ten minutes of them. I mean, I think between the Saints of the Ravens, we probably get a field goal or a touch on there and I'm done. Dustin Tucker my man comes through missing the extra point. Funny, funny you know people, you know, some people might be mad about kickers today. Obviously pretty happy with them. The Cowboys. I had Washington money line. They missed, They missed the field goal that
I was enjoyed. That was a lot of things just very closely went my way. Maybe, you know, maybe I should take a week off next week. Let me pull up. I got a little bit too luck of our bets here, shall I see? How how are you had the bills? Thank you for taking them so that I couldn't. That was a loss. That's one. I think I had Washington, I had Carolina, and I think I had the Jets and Vikings over in that three. So I went three for three. That's three and oh. For Frank, Sir, I
had Buffalo, I was a loss. I had Jackson Mill that was also a loss. And I had New England, which was a win. New England's good. So I was one and two, which means my score is now unfortunately nine and nine. Frank is ten and eight relations Greg frustrating, It's bed week for me week for great UM. Now we go Chicago yesterday. Weird game. UM. Overall but the major neew Sony Michelle gets hurt in this one, hurts his knee. James White becomes a superstar. Uh, the bear
is scored a ton of points. The wide receivers did nothing. Frank, Yeah, and you know that Sony Michelle news is very big today. We're awaiting to uh what what will come of the m R. I Adam Schefter text from last night on Patriots Sony Michelle and his injured knee. Expect it will be a little bit but not overly serious. Won't know till they look at it Monday. And Inside Injuries quoted that and said could be a meniscus tear, which is
what they suspected yesterday. We know that Sony Michelle was dealing with the knee injuries in the preseason, which held him out of a lot of the preseason obviously, which kind of slowed him coming into the year. But man, he was the past couple of weeks he was dominating
for fantasy purposes. So if if Sony Michelle has to miss any time, whether even if it's a small amount of time, this is a big, big loss for fantasy owners, especially for people who might have been buying high which made perfect sense, because they were using Tony Michelle in the same way that they were using La Garrett Pon a couple of years ago. They get in the red zone, it's Sony Michelle time. He's a lot to score touchdowns. I mean, in that Patriots offense, whenever they get down there,
they were using him. So people were likely buying high, they were trusting, they were, you know, buying in on Sony Michelle, and you know rightfully, so I wouldn't have gone against that mindset. Obviously the logical was there. But you know, any any amount of time that he misses, you're instantly out on like a low end RB one. Legitimately, Yeah,
it's crazy. Sony Michell has been really, really good. Now James White steps up, they have to sign somebody else too, frank you think, obviously, Ken John Barner is there doing ten carries for thirty six yards yesterday. You wonder if they're bringing somebody else. Wasn't he like kind of there
like last week or two weeks ago. I felt like they did, right, I couldn't miss that, um, But even if they didn't, I wouldn't be surprised if he's the guy who steps in because he has the familiarity obviously had a few big games last year. UM, but really anytime that's Ton him show MS, I think it's just obviously arrow pointing up for James White. We just saw that in this game where it really just forced at him in ball Aton. Yeah, it was. It was that
kind of game, no doubt about it. Chicago trade Burton went off yesterday, which was good. Three Cohen has proven that you want him instead of wanting seven receptions in three straight games, now lead the team in targets yesterday, UM was second behind Burton in receptions and yards. Jordan Howard continues to be bad. So I had to ask and I used to it last week, probably this week for sure, you trade Jordan Howard. Three Cohen, Yes, uh
in PPR. Definitely, definitely PPR. There's no doubt about that. The way that Cohen is being used the targets, he's getting the double digit targets, twelve targets yesterday, led the team. As you mentioned again three games in a row with at least seven receptions. They're just finding creative ways to get him involved. So you'd like to see that. But Jordan Howard again, I mean there just hasn't been efficiency. While he did score the touchdown, he's really become touchdown dependent.
Like if you look at the games where he doesn't score a touchdown. Last week four fourteen for sixty nine, that was the There're only they've only been two games this year that he's averaged over four yards per carry. It was last week four point nine yards per carry, Week one against the Packers five point five yards per carry. Every other week he's been three point three yards per carry or less. So it's either a the Bears haven't been able to run block well or Jordan Howard's just
missing his spots. I think it's a combination of like him just probably not getting enough work, getting his feet underneath HI getting into a routine. Uh, and you know he's coming off the field. They're using Trecohen more and more. Um. But obviously if you own him, maybe the fact that he scored a touchdown, you just try and shop him, see what you can get for him. But realistically, what are you getting for Jordan Howard right now? It's like you know, we we said the same thing about David
Johnson at times this year. When you try to sell these guys, it just doesn't make sense to sell them wh they're when they're at their lowest. But who's to say that Jordan Jordan Howard can't get lower than where he is right now in terms of value, right like if he if he you know, starts to get even less and less work, we're proved to continue, you know, being this inefficient, and maybe his value can get even
lower than Yeah, it's it's possible. I traded, as you know, I traded for Derrick Henry last week, kind of the same thing I tracked Christian Kirkway, which is nothing. What is Jermy Howard's value? Nothing? There's a lot of similarities between like Derrick Henry to John Howard David Johnson. They're really just like touch down dependent running backs. We take a break here, when we come back more and more focused Week seven, he stick our ad morean VFFS after

Cleveland Tampa? You know Cleveland Tampa because Nick Chump in his first career start, eighteen carries eighty yards Duke Johnson. I don't want to carry Duke Johnson four receptions. This is Nick Chub's backfield from beginning to end. Frank Yes, it was. Duke Johnson just had the one carry minus four yards here. Nick Chubb had a long of twenty one in this game. But eighteen carries for eighty yards, as you mentioned, four point four yards per carry. I like to see that out of Chub right out of
the gate here. I know it was a good match up against Tampa Bay. But while Carlos Hyde was getting a lot of work this season, he was not a very efficient running back on the yards per carry basis, So it's very nice to see Nick Chubb up over four yards per carry taking advantage of the great match up against Tampa Bay, scoring a touchdown in this one. But you're right, I mean, Duke Johnson, we were all
expecting an uptick here. You know, maybe he'll get you know that those five to seven carrieres we were looking for, maybe you know, those six six to eight targets that we're looking for. Duke Johnson only had four targets. He caught four of them twenty three yards. So I personally am not expecting much out of Duke Johnson moving forward. I still think that his usage will be um inconsistent.
We'll see if that changes. With Hugh Jackson obviously coming out saying that he wants to get more involved in the offense, this is a disaster. We were all kind of waiting for this to happen eventually, right Like, there's no way Hugh Jackson is gonna sit there and let a whole season go by where he doesn't, you know, try and mess things up unquote makes them better. Um, you know that. Look, Honestly, Todd Haley has not been great.
I'm not you know, I'm not gonna defend the guy, but it's just it was obvious that Hugh Jackson was gonna step in at some point. On the other side, Jamis Winston, what do we say every week? A lot of volume, over fifty passing attempts, a lot of yards three and sixty five yards, still throws, a lot of interceptions, had two interceptions in this game, didn't throw for a touchdown. He was the Bucks leading rusher, though, Greg, with fifty
five yards in a touchdown. You know who was not good in this game, Greg Peyton Barber, who I told you last week not fool around with, not get involved. Do not have him your number one waiver claim. Not pick him up. You don't want any part of the Tampa Bay Bucks running attack here. Peyton Barber proved why. Ronald Jones, of course, just managed to sneak in and vulture a touchdown. I I was so annoyed Ronald Jones on the field for that. It wasn't Peyton barbera for
the touchdown. The running game for Tampa Bay just terrible. Obviously, Jameis Winston was good, but everybody else not so good. Mike Evans got back on track with the seven for one. Seven. They can't run back, they just can't do it. And they're in so many negative game scripts they're never gonna like even in this game where they're actually leading for a lot of it, just nothing could get going on the ground. They cannot run back. Just do not use
Tampa Bay running running backs. It's it's as easy as that. Do not get involved the Bucks. As I said, got more from Mike Evans with the seven for one of seven. O. J. Howard as good as ever. Cameron brad uh still doing nothing. So guys, you want to trust here? O J. Howard, Mike Evans, your boy Chris Gowan was five, did not get in the end zone. Frankie, Yeah, it was solid, it was it was, you know, a safe floor performance
from him. Six targets, five receptions. I think one of the bigger letdowns here was the Shawan Jackson we saw Cleveland rush the past couple of weeks. Yeah, he did rush for touchdown, which is very very random. I mean yeah, I mean that helps about the fact that the only give you two receptions for twenty five yards. We saw the week before the Cleveland Browns faced the Chargers that give have two long touchdowns to Tyrell Williams. I thought that we could get at least one of those out
of the Shawan Jackson. But it's it's nice to see Mike Evans get back on track with Jameis Winston as the quarterback, something that he really hadn't done the past two games with Jamis there. Uh, Jarvis Landry finally turning targets into some kind of production here ten receptions, nineties seven yards a touchdown. Um. I think this is closer to what we should expect or get out of Jarvis Landry, right Like, don't target the guy down the field as much. I know they've been trying to use him as in
that Antonio Brown role. But nine point seven yards per catch, that's the Jarvis Landry we know, and getting on getting a lot of receptions close to the line of scrimmage. Let him do work after the catch. This is the way that they need to use Jarvis Landry. And obviously two weeks in a row, David Joku is quickly stepping up as a trusty a Titan that you could trust every single week. With the touchdowns and back to back games and obviously all the targets coming into fruition for
fantasy purpose. Yeah, listen, I you call the Jarvis Landry bounced back. It was seemingly inevitable. Uh. The fifteen targets more than double the other player on the Browns yesterday. It was the exact type of game you want from Jarvis Landry and an intuition on the one yard line just to roll in the endzone was great. It was
absolutely awesome. Um, Jarvis Landry, Damian David and Joeku the two clear primary options for Baker Mayfield and they have been since Baker Mayfield took over as the starting quarterback of the Browns. Unfortunately, Damian Ratley not a thing. No, it wasn't great in this game, but as you mentioned, look, Jarvis Landrys dominated targets. He had more than double the targets of anybody else. While and joke was still great.
He had six targets in this game. But Jarvis Landry just dominating fifteen targets, so continues to have that high target share. I like the fact that they you know, used him on on more of those shorts of intermediate routes, not trying to do so much of the you know, Antonio Brown down the field kind of role that Todd Haley has kind of placed Jarvis Landry and early into this season. I like what we saw here and I think that we can continue to take that into the
next couple of weeks. With the Browns having a beautiful schedule coming up, We're just schedule something up for fantasy purposes. Nick Chubb R B two solidly. Yeah. I think he just kind of like steps right into where Carlos Hyde is kind of like seamlessly. Um the efficiency was here. Still had eighteen carries. Like there were nineteen running back carries. Nick Schubb had eighteen of them. They used a second round draft pick on him for a reason. Um, we
like Carlos Hyde. I think Nick Chubb just kind of slots him there. High RB two Okay, I'm not gonna catch passes out No. Zero is the same thing that carlo' shide was doing. He doesn't He does not cash passes. They don't throw they throw running backs Duke Johnson and they don't really throw him either. Carolina had a big bounce back yesterday. In that game, they were down seventeen to nothing twenty one unanswered port points and Cam Newton brings them all the way down and he's victorious. In
this one. Newton was the leading rushers for the team. He had four nine yeards rushing CMC man fifty one yards of the passing game. I feel like that was he's let you down. But we have a week. Christian McCaffrey last two weeks, seven attempts twenty nine yards, eight attamps twenty yards, seventeen attempts fifty eight yards other than the breakout against the Mangals on the ground, A little bit of a disappointment from Christian McCaffrey. Yeah, he absolutely is.
You know, I was, I was rolling, uh, you know, scrolling through to the box scores yesterday, and this is something that I felt we should bring up. I don't know if people realize that Christian McCaffrey, he's had the safe floor in PPR because six receptions this week, seven receptions the week before that, uh, five receptions the week before that against the New York Giants. So the floor in terms of PPR has been there. He's giving you receptions,
he's getting targeted. But as you mentioned, Greg, he's not. He hasn't been efficient running the football in the past three weeks. He's been at four point one yards per carry, two point five yards per carry, three point four yards per carry. He's only scored one touchdown total in six games. Greg. That wasn't even a rushing touchdown, that was a receiving touchdown. So I know that you know he's been reliable for PPR, but I don't know that he's really given fantasy owners
what they expected in terms of ceiling. He's not having these monster games. Aside from that Bengals game which you reference. The good thing about Christian McCaffrey is at least he's
on the field. At least he's giving you something, right, So that back into the first round, Leonard Fournette, Dalvin Cook, Christian McCaffrey, while he hasn't been great, at least he's giving you something, whereas Dalvin Cook and Leonard Fournette have just been utter disasters because of their respective hamstring injuries. Speaking of hamstring injuries, we saw Melvin Gordon in active yesterday.
Let's just hope that, you know, having this week off and then the bye week next week will be enough for Melvin Gordon to get back on track. Really really cannot have this hamstring injury from Melvin Gordon turned into a lingering one like it has for for Net and Dalvin Cook. But you hope this is why they held him out, because was like, this was the best handling of a hamstring injury that we've seen all year. Tweaks and out of the running back pitch. Tweaks it on
a Friday and practice. Sit him out, Sit him out. You know you have to buy the week after. Let's be smart about this. You have more than cable backup in an Austin Ekeler and it worked out. Speak. Let's gonna round a plus Anthony Lennon, the Chargers man for actually doing the right thing. You know, every single week, Mike Zimmer, Uh, you know the Jaguars, it's just like, all right, we're gonna try and rush Alvin cookback. We're gonna try and rush Leonard Fournette back. You know, they
get banged up. They got all these setbacks. Uh, you know every week I was Leonard Fournet gonna play. We don't know, he gets ruled out, Like come on, we know the guy isn't gonna play until after the bye week. They traded for Carlos Hype for a reason, and I know, you know, I tweeted out Friday, Greg, I thought that Leonard Fournett was gonna land on the I R. I guess there's still there's still a chance that it could happen.
But I just don't really understand why this team would trade for Carlos Hide if they expected Leonard Fournette to do something this year. I completely agree with you, and we'll see if if it comes to fruition. Um, I want to get a Jacksonville just the moment. Don't me stick with the Chargers here for a second. What do you think of Mike Rebel's decision to go for it? I honestly didn't see that because I was just about heading into the Jet game because nineties starts, so you know,
we were. It was close to like one o'clock, right, I'd imagine that like the end of that game. So if you could fill me in, Greg, well, he went. They scored the game time, theoretical game time and touchdown. Uh, to send in an overtime, but hitting the extra point, they go for two first play, the first play, defensive whole things. The wall goes to the one. They go for two again. Weird play call. Uh, they didn't run it.
They didn't like Mariotta just like quarterback sneak it um it was it passed Timeline Taylor, I believe, and it fell incomplete. Wasn't this the second time this hear that Mike Faebel has done something crazy? Like yeah, I mean it was overtime and overtime game. He went for yeah, playing have the win, not to get to overtime, and it was interesting. It was a very interesting decision. Chargers improved to five and two, the Titans dropped to three
and four with this loss. Yeah. You know, one thing I will take away from this game fantasy wise is Dean Lewis right, finally had a pretty good game here. Thirteen rushes for ninety one yards seven yards per carry. Again, Derrick Henry, the same thing that we've said about Jordan Howard, David Johnson. He's touchdown dependent. That's a twelve carries thirty three yards, two point eight yards per carry. Yeah, he scored a touchdown. Uh. He actually had a few receptions
in this game, which isn't normal. But Dan Lewis targeted six times, called all six for sixty four yards. This offense is bad. Like, it's good to see that Dan Lewis actually did something for fantasy purposes here, Like if you needed to use him as a bye week replacement, you felt great about what you got out of him. Well, let's look at the rest, like Taj Sharp in nobody's lineup that helps absolutely nobody for fantasy purposes. Seven for one oh one. Yeah, sure, a great game. But guess
where Corey Davis is? Greg all the way down the box score, three receptions, ten yards. I brought this up last week, did why did this guy continuously get ranked as a top twenty four wide receiver? You know, even like you can argue is he a wide receiver three? At this point, He's had one great game against the Eagles. He still had seven targets in this game, but he
is not converting targets into fantasy productions. So, Corey Davis, I think, you know, for the foreseeable future, he is a bench a you know, prove it to me first before I get you back in my fantasy lineup kind of guy. Okay, So I completely agree with the Corey Davis. The other side, Tarall Williams has the big game again. I know it's never going to be consistent. I know it's never going to be some you can rely on,
but four catches over a hundred yards and other touchdown. Yeah, I mean, look, he's this is a classic best ball guy, you know, but it's mid season. So what do we do, right, we pick him up, you start, you start to play him. I mean, the next time that you play him, he's probably gonna have one of these games where you know, it gives you two for twenty two. He did that
against the Rams earlier on in the season. But you can't ignore what he's done back to back one yard games, three touchdowns over his last two games against the Titans against the Cleveland Browns. To me, he's no more than a bye week replacement because while he's making big plays happen greg, he still hasn't only been targeted no more than four times in each of the past three games. Four targets yesterday, four targets against the Browns, three targets
against the Raiders. He hasn't had more than five targets in any game. So he really is just a bloomer bust bye week replacement. And speaking of by replacement, he's not buy next week. So what do you do with Tyrell Williams. Nothing? Unfortunately, I get you you mentioned Jacksonville before, and the Carlos Hide trade. Jack in Ville was so bad yesterday that we saw Blake Bortles get bench when they asked who would be the starter next week? Who
would be the starter next week? I don't know. It has all gone through pieces with the Jacksonville Jaguars here this season they said at three and four. Now the Texans, miraculously after being oh and three, are now four and three in control of this division, which we thought a pretty competitive division. Now since it is one of the worst divisions of football, we have the I believe that the culture two and five, the Jason three and four,
the Houston Texas, we knew it. Who would have thought, right? I mean, it seems like that is this team winning in spite of Bill O'Brien right now, Like it's it's just so wild what they're doing. Their offensive line as bad as it is, Like this is just not I don't I personally believe the Houston Texans are not a good football team, but I just think it just speaks volumes.
So where this division is at right now, the Indianapolis Colts, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Tennessee Titans, like the Titans are a team that they have the ability to hang with good team. We saw that against the Eagles. Their defense can be great, but again their offense, like the offenses all around this division, I mean maybe outside of the Colts, because they look great yesterday it was against the Bills.
Andrew Luck has been putting up monster fantasy numbers, but for actual NFL purposes, Um has not been great, turning the ball over a lot. That's a really really weird division right now. And I know, you know, Gabe brings up the Giants trading for Derek Carr a lot. He thinks that, like that's like an ideal fit. Yeah. I think the Jacksonville Jaguars makes a lot of sense to write, like,
like what you need is a quarterback. Like you're a quarterback away, you have a great defense, You trade for Carlos Hide, and you have t J. Yelden, so you have a little thunder and lightning there at the running back position. You drafted Leonard four Nette. You need a quarterback. I think Derek Carr makes a lot of sense for this team too. Not that you know Derek car is gonna light the world on fire, but he's better than
Blake Bortles. It's interesting, Derek Carr, you've heard mentioned, You've heard Eli Manning mentioned, given the Jacksonville connection, Like, what is he gonna do? You know? I I agree, I'd love for them to do it. Blake Bortles. One thing you was good for yesterday leading Russia for the team. What do you know? Only play the six carries for three yards? T J yelled, and obviously, I mean they
just couldn't muster any offense here. He did still catch the that receiving touchdown on a great effort um and that's probably gonna be a lot of his role moving forward. I think more so in the passing game with Carlos Hodd coming into Dann seven for seventy six in this one for Jacksonville. On the other side. You know who didn't suck yesterday, uh Lamar Miller. Lamar Miller. I asked you about him Friday. I teach you up. I gave you an opportunity to pump up Lamar Miller in this matchup.
We thought it would be a great game. What I say, Lamar Miller sucks and a hundred for Touchdow I give credit words dude, Will Foller. By the way, it looks healthy six for sixty eight yesterday. Well, kik q T I forgot what chances the pronunciation qt I love the game, reaggravating the astring injury. So uh, tough break for Kett. There we take a break here, We'll come back more around the NFL. Fantasy Best Friends Forever, Fantasy Sports Right Network.

not really enjoying it very much. Okay, you go to gang the new kids the block doing that again. I am digging this. Why I was born in the wrong time period. I think you were to here, man, I don't think I really love like seventies, eighties and nineties, and I think I was born in the right time. Like, I mean, I don't know. Maybe I take the music of my generation growing up for granted. I'm just kind of tired of it, man, Like I like hearing the
older stuff. Dude. Probably not classic rock though, Like screw that, as you wouldn't enjoy like dance, you know, dance some poppy stuff, um disco stuff. You probably won't enjoy New Waves wedding at some point then, really, yeah, are you gonna have a bunch of Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel and stuff? Nope? What do you have not seventies? I mean it doesn't have to be seventies. Can we get a can I kind of request a song at least during I mean we're best friends. I mean I should
probably get a song at your wedding. You know requests. Why you're gonna a DJ. We're gonna have a live band, right, So what are they gonna play? Hopefully a lot of today music like what I know you're big, You're a big like you know, Top forty kids kind of guy. Yeah, a lot of those we'll probably get, like some Bruno Mars. Definitely, Definitely that's your thing. But I think I should one song that I can request, you know, like I'm your
best friend. It's gonna go to your wedding. You plind it on my birthday for your purpose for you, Like I assume that there will be birthday cake there for me. No, yeah, have a birthday cake, like it'll be a wedding cake, like all right, what about that? Like on the side, they'll be like a birthday. I'll cut off a piece, make sure you get handled and like everybody there singing to me. Um, they could sing that will be the biggest. They could sing what am I going to turn? Yeah big,
the big eighty. They could sing you get something that will be cake and you could sing I can sing sure, will everyone else sing with me? Definitely? Band? Everybody was I didn't anything about happy birthday and just said they'll be singing. No whatever, it's kind of messed up. Sorry, I wouldn't treat you like that. You would. When's your birthday? February? Is something? Right? I admittedly I have no idea? Uh no I do. It's a February, obviously it's not where
at the shot though, it was that close. Yeah, we go off? Uh the eleven? Is it? Actually? Yes? All right maybe eleven. I'll be my wedding three years from now, February eleven. I think I was thinking taking off that day next year, just following your stuffs? Are you? Are you mocking me? No? You know, honestly I was looking at flights the Florida my mom in February, and that week is very cheap. I can get there for under a two hundred bucks. Snap, you want to go away
that week too? We'll talk off the year? Oh god, yeah, yeah, yeah, we gotta talk about this. We're shutting down F and T S wife for a week. Video coming out of the studio. No nothing, God, let's pretend when this didn't happen. Corey Parson, the Fantasy executive, is in charge. Josh Reynolds, Man, what a disaster? I mean? Was it? Though? Yes? What do you want one catch? The thing is like relative to expectations though, right like, no, like, what were you
actually expecting him? I thought he could be covered? Um, yes, well I started him. Yeah, I mean we started him and we started. Look it was it was a good spot. It was against the San Francisco forty Niners. Their secondary was not great. The Rams absolutely washed him in this game, to be honestly, just really didn't need Josh Reynolds to do all that much. Obviously, Cook scored a touchdown. What do you know, Todd Girly another week, another three touchdowns.
I mean, the guys just an absolute machine. They just really didn't need Josh Reynalds to do all that much. I'm sorry, Greg, I think the process was there though, right Like, it was a good matchup steps in as a starter. I still like three wide receiver sets, you know, so I started both of my pickups this week. Who were Josh Reynolds and the rat No, Jamaine I was at that game. Look, he was on the field of Ton just didn't get targeted for whatever reason. Look, Sam
Sam Donald needs help. He threw three interceptions, but a few of those wore tipped passes off of his receiver's hands. Yet, Uh, there was a drive where I think he threw it three times and all three of them were dropped passes, Like Sam Donald needs help. The offensive line isn't great, I think in the all season. I mean those will obviously be you know, the big thing, like when you have a quarterback that young, you need to just surround
him with talent. You gotta shore up the offensive line, you gotta get him receivers and obviously, you know what, what's the last big name pass rusher the Jets have had. I was talking with Jets fans about this. How long ago was that they need a pass rusher? I mean they the Jets are a flukey team right like they were three and three coming into this game. They're not an actual three and three team. There's still a team that's like learning. It would be better in the future.
It's just it's not gonna happen this year for the Jets. Okay, I'm sorry, Frank, Why um, there's there's no reason. I mean, he was on the field a lot. He played you know, four I think he played like something like clost of seventy snaps in this game, and forty of them were in the slot, so like our process was right. What we thought was like he played the slot. Sam Donald typically targets that slot receiver role a lot. They you know, they cut Terrell prior over the weekend. Everything about our
process I think was right. There's no results, not a single pass throne at Jamaine Curse. Sam Donald hit eight receivers, none of whom was their leading receiver most of the day was Chris her In and then late as became Canada. Right. I mean we should probably talk about Herndon right because about he's uh, you know, he's trending in the right direction. They drafted they used a fourth round from Traptic on his kid tight end Adam you know Miami, but you
know they draft him and Sam Donald together. And what we said about the like connection especially no but like rookies coming in together too. It's something that's why we thought Josh Rosen and Christian Kirk could be a thing because you know rookies. They got the rookie minicamp obviously, uh, and you know they're just growing together. But it's back to back games with a touchdown now, uh. Season high in terms of targets, re end, receptions for Chris Herndon.
He had seven targets four receptions, So, um, maybe this will be more of a thing that they, you know, game plan for moving forward, like, hey, let's actually get Chris Herndon involved. Uh, It's just like there's been some games where it's Jordan Leggett. There's been some games where Neil Sterling gets involved too. So if they just make him like the go to tight end, the pass catcher, I certainly believe that he do has some talent. The Jets. I wanted to talk about the Jets. They kind of
appreciate that. I mean, look, there's nothing else, but hey, Adam feeling really good? Talk about that. I love how I got hurt um, which means Carol steps up into into this main back role um and he did not do much at all. And if the Power were forced to miss anything deeper leagues, I was so pissed when they kept just harding Trent and Cannon in the last drive. I'm so angry in deeper leagues. I do think that Trent Cannon is a name to watch if anything is
wrong with you know there. I mean, Isaiah Roell was dealing with a foot injury, So they're not just gonna forceeed him twenty touches per game. So if anything happens to Powell, Trent and Cannon will step in as a pass catching running back and their sile Tavis Murray and two more touchdowns. Do you think that we Cook another setback? That was that what we're thinking? I mean, it hasn't. Hasn't his whole season been a set back? Really? I mean, to be fair, it's like every single week is a setback.
He practiced last week and full on like Wednesday or Thursday, and the next day now thing, and then Friday comes out. They just rule them out. So I mean, it's good to see that they're actually just like ruling him out. But maybe him having that full practice, maybe he pushed it a little bit too hard and he did have
some kind of stepback. So hopefully if you you drafted Talvin Cook, you drafted Tabs Murray as well, because if you didn't, then you probably like two in five real, to be honest, for Net and Cook just absolutely brutal magice starting in twelfth of their team. Cook and for Net you probably felt so great on draft day and then coming back at the three fourth turn and taking like a Marie Cooper into Marius Thomas. What a great team.
That is unbelievable. What a disaster, disaster disasters, Sorry that it feels good though Russ taking him, they might have been able to get him at a three fourths turn. Probably not another hundred yard game for Theland who had nined for one ten. He's the Todd Gurley of the wide receiver position, which is crazy to say because it's like there's only one Todd Gurley. But every single week the guy is scoring a hundred yards in touchdown every
single week. Crazy thing. Stefan is actually targeted more. He was started fourteen times. Actually had a really weird season. He's looking into his game log last night. I was tweeting about it. Drink um. He's had three games of ninety one or more yards. He's had two one yard games. He's had um four games with forty three yards are less. So while the targets have been there, like fourteen targets in this game, eight receptions. He average four point one
yards per catch. There's been two games where he's averaged four point three yards per catch and four point one yards for kids, Why do they just not know how to get Stefan Digs involved the right way. It's just very weird the game involved. There's a few games where they're just like throwing him the ball like or behind the line of scrimmage a ton like. That's it. They're not targeting down the field. And I know there was.
It was very windy yesterday, it was very cold, so it made sense to not try and throw the ball down the field all that much. But it's like, at least, what about some of these intermediate routes, some crossing patterns, something. Get Stefan Digs the ball on his hands and see what he can do to the catch. Honestly, they're thinking, is, hey, our offense has been just fine targeting Adam Feeling a ton, And you know, why would they change anything? From their perspective,
they don't need to. They've won three games in a row and their offenses look great during those games, so I don't think they really need to change Stefon Dig's usage, which is kind of frustrating for fantasy purposes. Gurley had three touchdowns, Speaking of Todd for the Rams yesterday, He's on page to break the record for most touchdowns in a season receiving and rushing. On page for thirty two.
Who has the record? Is it Priest homes Will Thomas Thomson, John Pace for thirty two, which you know, while that, while that was happening, and then like a couple of years later, you're like, you look at that, and you're like, you know, no one's gonna come close to Elsie's record, right, like thirty thirty touchdowns from running back. I mean, I certainly thought like there's no like, no one's gonna come
close to that. It's also it's also so interesting in this year or this era of the shotgun passing and the rams. Rarely you shotgun a single back formation to do everything out of nine the snapses and that eleven formation, um, and they're just so so dynamic and girly is so so good. Robert Woods live the team receiving. He hit five for seventy eight, Brandon Cooks four for sixty four and the touchdowns. As I said, Josh Reynolds did not
get involved. On the other side, George Kittle continues to rake five or nineteen a Touchdown't you feel really really good about George Kittle? Mark, He's Goodwin. Here's the problem comes right down, break back down to earth. Yeah, and what we expected to be a good matchup two, But it wasn't just him. It was C. J. Bethard, Like Bethor didn't do anything in this game. A hundred and seventy yards, six point three yards per attempt, one touchdown,
two interceptions, just wasn't great. Obviously, have to mention Matt Brita, who you know, reaggravated that ankle injury, left the game five carries for fifteen yards. But our guy for he Mostert, uh, he only got seven carries but looked very good in those carries. He pointed four yards per carry. And I think they just need to kind of like end the Alfred Morris thing. Let's just see what this kid Mostert
can do. Obviously, they signed Jack McKinnon, he'll be back next year, but like, let's just see what you have in the kid, right that Brita in and out of the game with that ankle injury. Who knows this datus for next week? It could be the Alfred Morris for he Moostirt show, but we'll see ultimately. Uh. They just when breed up the game, they did try to give the ball to Kyle you shoul check ones. It worked very very poorly that that Packers game is gonna end
up being the outlier for the forty Niners offense. They're not good. It's really just George Kittle. I don't think on a week tweek basis, it's been it's been proven. You can't trust any forty Niners receiver outside of George Kittle. You can't trust a goodwin because we thought this was a good matchup. You obviously can't trust Pierre Garsoney's probably not even owned in a lot of leagues anymore. Um, you know, how many games are they gonna be playing
from behind? Maybe you know, maybe you just don't really want much to do with their running game at all. Thinking side ends as I mentioned George Kittle. Um, you know, let's actually sign off YouTube first. Before we get into this point, I want to say goodbye to our YouTube audience. I want to thank you for watching us. Mentioned you kid and the success he has had at the ten end position. You mentioned Chris Herndon a little bit earlier on for Washington who meat Dallas yesterday? Jordan Read four targets only two receptions for forty three yards. Is Jordan Read benchable and or
drop herble? The question is who, like who you're dropping him for? He's not doing Chris Herndon, probably not okay, like the Jets to spread the ball around, Like like if you have someone in your bench, if it's a deeper league, do I want to drop Jordan Read for him?
Probably not, But like Jordan Reed hasn't done anything, Like if you have someone else on your team that you can afford to drop to try and pick up Chris Herndon and maybe start him over Jordan Read okay, But like it's just like who are you dropping him for? There's nobody, There's nobody out there, like he isn't doing anything. But like tight ends in general are not doing anything. I would have you know, probably do it for like Austin Hooper, But Austin Hooper's owned now ready, So how
many leagues is Austin who even available? In he hasn't scored a touchdown since Week one. He hasn't been over forty three yards in each of his past three games. He did have sixty five yards four games to go against the Packers, which seems like forever ago. But the targets haven't necessarily been there. The usage hasn't been there. And I understand what Jordan Reid. You know, you don't want the guy on the field all that much because he's he's extremely injury prone. But even when he's on
the field, the usage hasn't been there. The targets have been inconsistent, specifically the past three weeks. So yeah, I mean you could drop him, but the question is who you're dropping for. I don't know. Yeah, there's I wish I had better answer for it. Still, Look, it's just it's it's the nature of the tight end position. We talked about this every single year, um, but who has been like the one constant at the tight end position.
It's actually been zach Ertz. That Gertz has been the best tight end this year, the most consistent by far. Travis Kelsey of course has the upside to have big games in that Chief's offense, but the Chief's offense is also a blessing and a curse for Travis Kelsey because they have so many good options that they don't need to force feed him every week. You have Tyreek Hill. One week, it could be saying Watkins. It could be the Kareem Hunt Show. That's what it was last night.
So you know the fact that the Chief's offense is as good as it is is actually a blessing and a curse for Travis Kelton. Yeah, I completely completely get that. In this Washington game, Adrian Peterson continues to just dominating and twenty four carries for ninety nine yards. He looked good, he finished, He was just shy of a touchdown at one point in this game. As I mentioned, he looked good.
He does and he's he's crazy because he dies battling like every single Intermsok, he's beat up in a major way. He's still have four point one yards for carrying this game and he had twenty five touches. So, I mean, once we knew that Chris Thompson was out, you bump Adrian Peterson up a little bit. But how long is Adrian Peterson gonna be able to touch the ball twenty times a game? Right. I mean the guy is basically held together by duct tape right now, I get it.
And he concerned about Zeke only fifteen or thirty three yesterday. Kind of a weird season for Zeke, right, Like he has not he weird, not delivered what we were expecting out of him. Like, yeah, I'm sure you know Corey's gonna talk about this too. I mean, what he's done against the Jaguars monster game, the week before that against the Texans twenty for fifty four. Pass team usage has been a little bit inconsistent. You know, I think he's a guy who should actually be getting five to six
receptions a game just based on this defense. Like I think anyone else who could make plays, sneak out in space and let him see what a Scott lind A
hand not doing a good job. I mean, that's we've heard that all year long, as Brian was tweeting about in the off season, three more games to quickly mentioned before we get out of here, exactly where I was going Marlon Maxe yards rush touchdown r MAC though now because we're getting like I had a question today, someone said, before we get the m R I results back from Sony Michelle. Should I trade Michelle from Marlon mac no,
which you don't want to do that. It could be be just him taking advantage of the match up against the Buffalo Bills. But Marlan Maxy Michelle is out for the next four weeks. Marlon Chubb, I'll take Chubb. Yeah. I just think you know, I actually trust the Brown's ability to run the football more so than I do the Colts. Even Marlon matt coming off this monster game. Chris Ivory uh was starting starting this game of the show, McCoy leaving very very early with a concussion, right sixteen
for eighty one for Chris Ivory. Bills have neverybody able to move the ball. But average your backup is your startop. Yes, and we've seen in games where McCoy can't go, gets a lot of usage. Um that is Chris Ivory. So look, but all these teams on By, it seems like every single week we're gonna have four or more teams on By. You're gonna look at anyone who's getting work out. Patrick Mahomes was awesome yesterday, and I mentioned the Ravens tonight.
The Falcons three and a half way favorite. Right now, give me the Falcons, Andy over Greg Absolutely Franky Stamville. I'm Greg Sausman, the Friend. He's up next. We'll do it all again tomorrow, we hope.
