You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Fantasy Best Friends Forever. M Do to to do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do do do don't to yo, says the Fantasy best Friends Forever here on the Fantasy Sports for your Networks alongside Frankie Stample. I am Greg soumangg. That's going on, Bundy, Greg. We have a great game tonight between the Vikings and ram excellent.
What should be a great game. Perhaps a preview of the NFC Hunference Championship we'll be talking about later on this potentially, do Greg, can we get a Kavanaugh update? Do you actually like havinga d Yeah? Okay, it doesn't matter what's going on in the Kavanaugh case. All right, onto football Greg, how's everything going. It's just trial? How long? How long did you was not a trial either? A right hearing. Yeah, I'm gonna Things are good, man, Things
are good. Thanks for the socks, by the way. Yeah, you're welcome to a nice dress shock. Nice dress socks. Here you go, some dress socks. My man, Gregg, he hooked me up. He got black. He didn't hook me up with his his foot locker look up, um, but he did with some dress socks. Also, Greg, I thought I would let you know that I'm using a new hair product. Hey, what do you think it like? The hair looks more shiny, but like it's still there's just too much of it. I'm gonna just shave my head. Hey,
that's gonna come soon. I'm just gonna shave my head. I can't do this. So oh wow, I didn't even see this. What's something on the run down? Let me get to something on the run down? Yankees? See nothing with the Yankees? No, No, what is it? Ja happ j Happ, Lancelin and Luis Severino are starting in Boston this weekend, which means you're wild Games wild Card game starter. He's out of cc Sabathia or Massa, Hero, Tanaka or Jap one of those three guys started, which means it
will not be Louis Severino. Wow, that's interesting. Well, I know this is the Football Show, but that that's a little unexpected, isn't it? Both Cashman? It could be Jap still, but I know some people have thrown out Tanaka that they be the guy. Both Cashman and Aaron Boone in the catd that it's gonna be a majority bullpen game essentially, Yeah,
we're gonna get David Robertson for another three innings. Yeah, I think I And honestly, I think you're hoping that the starter makes it like your opener essentially makes it three innings. I think that's like they want. I think ideally, if you get through the lineup twice, that's probably what they want. I think, so digree with that. Yeah, No, I do disagree. I think you have a little lot of ones. They're pubems seriously alright, because you get to
do the line up twice, that's six innings. Well yeah, if you're throwing a perfect game, yeah, which you want? You want? You want three innings whatever at whatever that is. Yeah, that's the inche of different today. How about some football updates, Greg, Let's do it. Ramsey Vikings tonight. As you said, it could be a preview of the NFC Championship game. The Ramsey best offense in the NFL. The spar Viking is a very surprising loss to Buffalo, and in all honesty, Frankie,
the spread reflects that. Right. It is a seven and a half point game right now, so a lot of points, a lot of points. Yeah, the Rams are laying seven as of right now. I think it opened at seven and a half, It went down as far as six and a half at one point, and now we're back up to seven. So I actually agree with Carton said towards the end of the show. If you wanted to get in on it, I think you buy the hook there a plus seven and a half um. But I
think this game is closer than people realize. Look, the Rams are three and oh both on the season straight up and against the spread. The Vikings are one one and one and they're one and two against the spread. But yeah, I think this spread for tonight's game is very reflective of last week and the Vikings just he's crapping the bed, to be honest, against the Buffalo Bills in a game that they were favored by like sixteen
or seventeen points, whatever it was towards the end. Uh. There the problem that I have right when looking at trends.
I know a lot of a lot of betting people like to look at trends, like historical trends, like whenever the Rams, like the Rams on a three game winning treat what like things change, Like even the thing even the numbers that we have, the statistical trends that we have this season with the Los Angeles Rams, as good as their defense has been, I think they're like bottom five and like total yards allowed to get out of here bottom five and totally yards allowed, Like they're missing
two of their best defensive pieces tonight. So like we can't really use the stats that we have this year. We kind of need to project forward. Keep to Leave is definitely not gonna play. They're saying Marcus Peters is still questionable, but I don't think he's going to play either. What worries me most is the fact that Kirk Cousins and the Vikings offensive line got demolished by the Bills last week, and now they're going up against a top
two defensive line tonight maybe the best. I mean, the Bears are obviously in that discussion as well, but with Aaron Donald and Dominican Sue coming at you against the Vikings offensive line, which has not been good, I will say they might be better tonight because they're expected to get Pat Flyn back, their center, who has not played in a game yet this year, and they could certainly use him. But I do think of the Vikings are gonna shot this up tonight. I mean, they were just
a joke defensively. They were joked all around, and I think Mike Zimmer is a better head coach in that, and I think they right the ship. I don't really have a lean on the total, to be honest, like four year and a half, but I do like the Vikings to I'm gonna tell this would be a thousand times better than where this past Sunday, like a thousand times. Don't get embarrassed like that They're gett embarrassed by Buffalo.
I'm quite sure that Mike Zimmer ran this team into the ground over the last day or two, and I think it's actually the perfect opportunity for the Vikings to get back on the horse. Four days later, right, I didn't have a week stew about this. This is four days ago, and they got embarrassed. And there is that mental part of the game where you got embarrassed by arguably the worst team in the NFL. I think they go out to l A. We're there now seven a
half point dogs. We would have done this a week ago. You talk about a three point three point differential. He would have just been the home number. Gave him four and a half. Because of what happened this past Sunday. I don't personally think the Rams are seven and a half points better than the Vikings. I get it, it's home. I understand how great the Rams have looked. I think they come back out of earth a little bit. I really really like the Vikings tonight, really really like the Vikings. Yeah,
I'm I'm right there with you again. I think the total, it's an interesting number. I think totals are kind of hard on Thursday Night football because look at a short week. Defenses are usually banged up on the short week. And we even saw it like with the Bengals and the Ravens game two weeks ago, like everybody was hammering the
under We looked at statistical trends and years past. I think stuff like that it's kind of thrown out the window for Thursday night football because anything can happen in these games. So I don't really have a strong lean on on the total, but I will say Daily Rodo their prop tools love Adam Feeland's night Greig with his prop at eight seven and a half yards, which is
a lot. Lot. It is a lot. He's gone over a hundred yards each of the first three games in Daily Rodo has Adam Feeland projected for about like receiving yards. So um. They have this really cool tool for the under the prop bets where you can look at the biggest difference between what the Daily Rodo projection is and what the prop number is, and Adam Feeland has the biggest number tonight, so they like him a lot over where I love Stefon Diggs a lot tonight because he
was not really involved this past Sunday. I think that's another thing they get corrected tonight. Um. I think both Diggs and Feeling have big nights without a key to leave about Marcus Peters on the other side, I think both could go off if Kirk Cousins has the time to throw. What do they think about Stefon Diggs tonight? Uh, Stefon Diggs, his prop is at seventy two, so it's
a lot. Yeah, that's a lot. So so the oddsmakers are expecting a bounce back from the Vikings wide receivers, and I think that's just a further indication that those cornerbacks are not gonna play. We know for short to leave isn't gonna play. But I think Vegas is certainly expecting that Marcus Peters is not going to play in this game either, So I agree with you. I think Stefon Diggs and Adam Feeland could both be in for big games. I have Adam Feeling inside my top twelve.
I have Stefon Diggs just out. I think I haven't met like wide receiver fifteen or sixteen. He's still a wide receiver too. But I think based on the target share that Adam Feeling is getting right now, you have to trust him more than Stefon Diggs. I think. So it's too and it's not just hard to share, right. It's like the game we're kind of expecting, which is the Los Angeles Rams defensive line being as good as
it is being as perocious as it is ever. Seeing what happened with Minnesota and Buffalo on Sunday, there's not gonna be as much time potentially for Kirk Cousins and throw the ball. So you're gonna throw it exactly. You're gonna throw it to your safety receiver, which is your slot receiver, you're tight end, which is how Kirk Um Kyle of Rude Ill pick up a ton towards the end of that game against Buffalo. So I think I
think Theeland's probably the safer option. I could certainly cease to find things having a bigger game, but I think if you're looking for the safer option, it's Adam Land. I've got this question today between Jared Goff or Kirk Cousins, who do you like more? And I think it's really interesting to me personally. I still need Jared Goff just because the offense that he plays in the receivers that they have Robert Woods, Brandon cooks Um and Cooper Cup.
And it's not a knock on the Vikings, but overall, the Rams offensive line is just better. Their offense is moving the ball more effectively. They have Todd Gurley, one of the best running backs in the game, so it's very close to me. I have Kirk. I have Jared Goff rank one spot higher than Kirk. I have him as my QB twelve, and I have Kirk Cousins as my QB thirteen, So I think both are viable. They're
right there is like low end QB ones. But I wanted to ask you what you think if you had to choose one between Goff and Kirk Cousins tonight, because I've been getting that question. Yeah, that's really hard. I've gotten golf and Baker Mayfield as well. Um, people still take golf just because it's been so safe. I agree. I said my answer was golf there. I think Govin kirk Cousins really is really really hard. I think I'm going golf just it's just at home. The weapons are there.
You know, he's gonna get up plenty of attempts um to pass the ball down field. Shan Skinny has just been fantastic over the first couple of weeks, so I would lean golf as well tonight. I also like Kyle Rudolf tonight as well. Yeah, I think I'll check it right now. I have him ranked as my fifth tight end, just because the Rams are allowing to four or six the eighth most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. And we saw in week one against the Raiders they
allow two hundred yards receiving. Last week against Antonio Gates, the the old Vet, the trusty Old. I mean he's basically like bag of dust at this point, a bag of dust, bag of dust, something like that bag of bones, whatever it is. Um he had fifty one receiving yards as well. So I think Kyle Rudolph is in for a solid nights and night in half point PBR. Kyle Rudolph, who people were a little concerned about after the first week or two. He's pointed in week one he only
had one two targets. One reception, of course, was for a touchdown. In week two seven or seventy two, a lot of that came in the fourth quarter and overtime. They pointed to that last week all garbage time five or forty eight and the touchdown. So whatever you want, call out Kylo Rudolph, whatever you want, stop five time
end right now, literally exactly. So top five tight end and included also in there is Jared cook O J Howard who people still have question marks about and then you have Urthson Kelsey, So Kyle Rudolph exactly like, I don't care how it comes, Like I said that all the time Fantasy. It doesn't matter how it comes when
it comes to a tight end, us a touchdown. Kyl Rodolf's giving you a touchdown two or three weeks he's been great and in the other game he give you what seven receiving n and you know, instead of being the guy who's chasing Will dis Lee and Austin who's McDonald every single week. This is why we were hammering guys like like Kyl Rodolph, like Jordan Reid, Jordan Reads getting it done to Jordan Reed is six seven, eight nine, he's in the tenth. He's tight end tend but that's
where he was being drafted. Absolutely giving me a top tense tight end. I'm absolutely And Rob and you look at the tight ends right like ERNs Howard Cook, Kelsey, Fine, Jesse James and Will Dislier that we know what Jesse James did last week. Rob Gronkowski, Fine, Eric ebron this is the thing, right, Like you have Kylo Rodolf, you may get that one for eight outing we get a touchdown. It's gonna happen with every tight end. Kyli Rodolf is
is really safe. I think, um, some of what we were concerned about going into the season a bit overblown. I'm very comfl with Kyli Rodolf tonight and going forward. Yeah, for sure. Um. And we've seen that the Rams have struggled against tight ends, mostly because when they have those strong corn backs, the way you attack them is with the tight end against the linebacker against the safety. Play there of the Rams. But you know, maybe tonight with them with the corners being out, we see a little
more targets to the wide receiver. But I still like HIF a lot. I think Dalvin Cook is going to be an interesting discussion obviously. Um. And did you include them four inside injuries? I don't think, I really, Greg, you hammered me last week or two weeks ago whatever, for whoever it was. I mean that was yeah, it didn't matter because he didn't play. It's probably not gonna play this week. You hammered me for that on a Thursday night game when people need to know about Dalvin
Cook and his availability. Terrible You didn't include him on the list of inside You know why we put the list together yesterday morning. I thought it was gonna either be very very clear he was playing or very very clear he wasn't. And it's unclear right in the middle. And unfortunately dr A only goes by the list. I don't blame him. The guy gets prepared for what he's prepared for him. Yeah, and you this one seems this one seems on me like I think Dalvin Cook, if
he plays tonight, he's a solid RB two. I would say he's like in that believe I have him sixteenth or something because I still think he'll be limited to somewhat of a degree. But if he plays, they're going to use him like he's gonna get like fifteen sixteen touches for game. If he plays, are gonna use them that they're going to activate him to just send him on the bench. So so there's two loves of him at sixteen. He's right behind for net Lynch and Collins,
right ahead of Lamar Miller, Kenyans Ray, Chris Carson. Does that sound okay? Sounds exactly right to me. You know, it's interesting when we talked about this last Friday, we were saying Dalvin Cook not gonna play this weekend, probably in preparation for this game one Thursday night. Bigger game would be the Bills with Adam. You don't need that
last week? Did you see the quote where he was like he said the word definitely like five times in one since he's like, I'm definitely definitely, definitely definitely playing next week. Right, So there's two. There's two loves of thinking about it. Like I said, right, like you held
him out that on Sunday for tonight, certainly possible. The other side as you hold him out tonight, he literally had like almost three weeks off for two and a half weeks off um before we had to play again, which is which is massive UM for a guy that the battle the knee injury last year UM, and had some recurring hamstring issues this year. So I'm gonna know who their next game. They both sides Philly. It's tough.
That sucks. That's tough. That sucks. Yeah, um, speaking of injury, speaking of injury issues that somebody else will I don't think is on the list for Dr A No, It's okay, he's not. It's Aaron Rodgers. You knew Aaron Rodgers gonna play this Sunday. Um, but I just read from Iman Rappleport just came out on my Twitter that, um, Aaron Rodgers is practicing today, I believe limited to the interday's practice,
which means this improvement. Right. He did not practice the last two weeks until Saturday, which is their Friday practice for the Packers. UM, So some improvement with Aaron Rodgers which hopefully will gain him a little bit more mobility this week against Buffalo defense that cleared that clearly, UM is better than we originally thought. Yeah, and I was hammering that for a while I thought this Buffalo Bills
defense was still very good. I think they were being underappreciated their first couple of weeks just because they got blown out. I mean, look what you could say whatever for whatever reason, whether they weren't prepared or whatever it was. Maybe you know, Vante Davis quitting on them at halftime, you know, gave him a kick in the caboose. But this defense is not as bad as they showed the first couple of weeks. And they're going to bring some
pressure on Aaron Rodgers. I think that makes a lot of sense because he doesn't have that normal mobility, UM that we see out of Aaron Rodgers. So that's another big line to the Packers are laying ten points at home right now gets the Buffalo Bills, So that's that's a lot of points. Yeah, I don't know if I would touch that one either way. Imagine going to Minnesota and then Green Bay and knocking off both shocked the world.
Is this crazy? I'm starting Josh Allen in my Super Flex League over Blake Bortles this week were Vision Jets with the thirty eight and a half game total. No, I think I like it because if either the Bills getting down, he's four four net back for Jacksonville. We've seen in games that four net plays. Yeah, they typically run the ball. I'm cool with it. We'll take a break here. When we come back, we'll be joined by
Dr A from Inside Injuries. The Good Doctor will join us and use the latest and all the injuries of the leagues. Look around more fs rats. Daily Rodo dot Com learned from the game's best DFS players. Yeah, he picked up the Detroit Lions. They're going up against the poorest Cowboys offense. This is gonna be the week the Cowboys scored thirty. I also spent I spent a dollar on Broadway, Baker Broadway, Baker Baker Mania, running wild in Cleveland. What
do you think? Sure? Cool? I like it. You're Dr Schniff. I'm back there dry inside injuries. What's going on? Man? Hey guys, how's that? How are you guys doing today? I'm doing great. We're doing absolutely fantastic. Um a lot of injuries talk about we're doing well. Why how are you, sir? I'm doing great. I'm doing great. Just you know, living
the dream, right, yep, exactly exactly. Hey, doc, I want to start um in Cincinnati where A. J. Green practiced yesterday and we thought that the groin injury could linger a little bit freak and economy in a prediction of what you would say to this question, Um, but what's the deal with A J. Green? Yeah, so it looks like a what we call a blunt forced trauma type of injury. So he literally landed on the right side. It wasn't quite sure. It didn't look like there was
any torque motion. So it looks like it's just bruising and sort of a soft tissue. That's why are our algorithm labeled it as a Grade one groin slash hip injury. Uh. It is a two week optimal overcover time, and my suggestion to A. J. Green and the Bengals is to take the full two weeks because of his injury past. Um, he was at peak health up to this point, but it took him a long time to get there in
terms of our metrics. Now that he has this, unfortunately, it has really it's sort of almost like the you know, the straw that broke the camel's back. He has now immediately escalated to pent injury risks. So any he's may have been limited to the UH Wednesday in practice. If he does play this weekend, it is bad. It is a very bad sign in terms of I would stay away from him from a fantasy standpoint because he will still be at high injury risk. And Frank nailed it,
and Greg, that's exactly what we said yesterday. That's literally exactly that I thought Doctor would have and I think it makes sense. I just worried that A. J. Green so much wants to play in this game because he went to Georgia University, because he's been compared to Julio Jones throughout, you know, his entire NFL career, being drafted in the same draft together going back to Atlanta, I think he really wants to get into this game, so
I think he's gonna try his best to play. But I agree with you, Doc, I think there's a pretty good chance for him to re injure this big game. Um, you know, it wouldn't be a segment with inside injuries if we didn't bring up Doug Baldwin to get a weekly update on Doug Baldwin, and we actually got some optimistic news yesterday that he returned to practice on a limited basis. Now, Doctor, let us let us know. Is he returning too soon? Um? Is he gonna be ready
to play this week? If he plays, what is his chance for re injury within the game. What's the latest on Doug Balbin. Yeah, so you know he had right before the preseason, you had the what we are predicting was a meniscus tear. The team has not released that, but he missed all of preseason with it, and now he has an m c L we which we've labeled as a grade too. So from an m c L standpoint,
it's not a grade three, so it's not torn. But combining both knee injuries with all the previous injuries he's had, you know, he was already elevated injury risk. It's pushed him now. He still remains at twenty eight percent injury risk and that's high. And his his HPF is literally below average still, so if he does start playing in the next four or five days, or even in the next seven or ten days, he will not have the
right metrics to really be confident as a fantasy player. However, you know, week five is where we're seeing that he'll probably be at the best possible location from a metrics standpoint that he can be. His HPF probably will get to above average, and he'll be at elevated and above average. That's the best he's gonna do. If you ask me,
I don't think Doug Baldwin plays this week. I know he's returned on a limited basis, but I'm just speaking from what I would imagine the Seahawks perspective is is that they're going up against the Cardinals. They probably don't need him, They're facing him what we did this last week withalpan Cook. It's very true, but yeah, I just don't think we five Baldwin. If I had to make a prediction, I would say he doesn't play this week, and he does return a week five. So I actually
I think he does play this week. Um, I'm not saying he should. I agree with you, Doc, but I think he ultimately does play this week. Practicing on a Wednesday, and from what I was doing the research on Doug Baldwin yesterday, and I think they planned all along for this to be the week, um where they are wanting to get This is a game that they should win.
I agree with you, Fra, they probably don't need him to but ultimately it's a game they need to win, and I think they'll do whatever means necessary to make it happen. And I think you'll see Doug ball in a little bit. Yeah, well I would. I would say in retrospect what we were saying right before a game one. We said Doug Baldwin should not play in week one
because his metrics are not there. I think if they had waited to week two and gotten him to low injury risks, then boom, he could have played week two and maybe he would not have suffered this now second knee injury, which is the m c L. And that's that. Yeah, I completely hear that. But this week sounds a lot like Week one with what dr As they bring him back too soon, then we're gonna get another two or three week absence, and I totally agree with that. And listen,
it's been how desperate the Seahawks are. They were desperate in Week one they played him and didn't work out. Are they desperate enough in a week four? I think we'll say I'll lock it absolutely getting it done right now. Yes, indeed he is. Evan Ingram expected him. It's two to four weeks with a knee injury. I believe it's the same spring MCL that Dog Baldwin that I want the Giants and Giants fan to be cautious about how serious
does it look for Evan Ingram? Okay, so it's a great two m c L so it's not torn again, it is it's a it's a mild to moderate sprain. So that's you know, that's good news for Evan Ingram. But you know, he was elevated and below average before um this injury. So you know, he we knew that he was at a higher risk to get this. Now he has moved into high injury risk and at health. So you know, right now this is a three week optimal recovery time and it's a healthy to return at
week six. So we're kind of in line with what the giants are saying. Missing two to four weeks, it's probably going to be three UM, and you know, if he has any setbacks, it will probably be four and it'll be week seven. But the earliest we see that he should come back right now is week six. But
his metrics are not going to be that great. When he comes back, he may be up to above average, but he will still be at elevated injury risk most likely, and so you know, Evan ingramoners to really consider that, right just from a giant's perspective. This week we said
this the other day. In games where Evan Ingram misses, I think sting Shepherd instantly steps up as a high end wide receiver three, And especially in this week's matchup against the New Orleans Saints where they just lost their slot cornerback Patrick Robinson, he got placed on I R I like Sterling separate at the top twenty wide receiver. It might be aggressive, but I'm ranking him that way. He s been at a dollar Mike Yaller, Ray Alison.
It depends how desperate you are. Obviously, if you were an Evan Ingram owner, there are a few other places I would look first. I would look at Um and Watson. I would look advance McDonald. But if guys like that are already gone, then yeah, Rrett Ellison's probably the next man up. And I would also say about Evan Ingram, don't forget he suffered a concussion in the preseason, right, so this is now a second injury. Concussions, especially the guys that catch the ball, are much more impactful than
anything else. So Evan Ingram omer's owners, you know, should you know? I don't know if this is the best he's gonna get this season. It's it's possible. Doc, I asked you about Doug Baldwin earlier, I want to ask you about another wide receiver who's making his way back from injury, trying to return, and that's Alshon Jeffrey with the shoulder injury. Now he's been cleared for contact, and I don't personally, I don't know what that means. Does that mean he's going to play this week? Does that
mean he's practicing? Because I feel like a lot of fantasy owners are getting excited over this, over the possibility of Alshon Jeffrey playing this week just because he's cleared for contact. Does that mean we see him in week four? Or is this another case like Doug baldin ware they should rest him until he's fully ready to go and then it's more likely we see him in week five. Yeah, So cleared for contact does not mean that he's going
to start. I mean, it basically means that now guys in practice can tackle him, you know, and so you know, uh, and so he's nowhere near um in terms of this week, you know, saying that you know he's going to be
ready to play in the game. What we're what we're looking at, you know, and and just to reiterate, we talked about Alshan Jeffrey all the time, and this guy had a completely torn rotator cough, you know, and so it is so hard to come back from this injury and so finally being cleared for contact, and it's the right time to clear him for contact. That he's at peak health right now, um, according to our metrics, but he's at elevated injury risk. At This is a high risk,
high reward kind of guy. So if he's up against the defense, um, you know, if if he's up against a m a defense that is very weak, you may want to put him in your lineup because but he is a high risk, high reward type of guy. Week four right now is where we're considering his optimal recovery time way back in the day was thirty weeks. So week four now is the culmination of those thirty weeks.
We're talking to Dr A from inside Injuries. The Eagles having smartly and rightfully so cautious what it comes to Alsian Jeffrey completely tearing that rotator cuff um and looks like when they get him back, he'll be ready to go. Yeah, and his value is directly tied two guys like um Nelson and even Dallas got herd. You asked me about Red Allison. If Alshon Jeffrey doesn't go, I like Dallas
more than him this week as well. We saw last week when Alshon Jeffrey was still out, they really employed the two tight end sets, definitely Zach Earth and Dallas Goddard, and he was targeted seven times in that game. They used them a lot, and he actually scored a touchdown. So if Alson Jeffrey is a no go, I like Dallas Goddard more so than I do Read Ellison. If
you're streaming the tight end I completely agree with. And one of the things that will tell you about Alshean Jeffrey is that because he's been away and absent for so long, I mean, the Eagles are not going to throw him in and do like you know out He may play limited snaps. He may just because he's starting doesn't mean he's going full fled. So you know, owners need to know that. You know, if he's not on the field half the time, it doesn't help them as well.
It's a great point too, He's definitely not gonna play his normal percentage of snaps right out of the game. He's not ready. This is his preseason. Even if he plays this week, you can't start. I don't think he's playing. He's probably around like which might be twenty plays. Yeah, I think that makes sense. We talked about Evan Ingroom and Dallas Goddard you mentioned and with the only tight ends, and that brings me to Jack Doyle, who not a
missing practice last Friday. Eric Ebron was a popular DFS play. He got it going garbage a little bit. The receptions were there, obviously, the yordage was not dropped. A couple of touchdowns and penalties and whatnot. Um, how serious is injury to Jack Doyle? What's the latest on him? Well, you know, it's a great two hip injury, so, um, it's not it's not a soft tissue or one. It is a two and it's but it's not a three
or four. So he's right in the middle. The problem with is that it's a hip injury on tight ends and those things are just like concussions, can be significantly impactful specifically to these guys. Just is what our data algorithm is showing. So you know, our algorithm is well piste off at Jack Doyle because it. Uh. You know, we we had him at low injury risk and peak health you know, before this injury. Um, but uh um, you know, it's kind of a little bit of a conundrum.
But now that we know that, we are pretty sure that he has a great two hip injury um h h g R is week five. That means he'll be back week five, most like that's when he should be back. And um, he's at high injury risk at We do not like the word hip injury for tight ends. And so when he does come back, you know, it's still going to be not at low injury risk, he'll be at elevated injury risk and below to above average. You know this, This hip injury is pretty debilitating throughout the
season for tight ends. And I think any game that Jack Doyle miss is obviously Eric Ebron is a top ten tight end. He currently ranks as tight end nine. We spoke about him a little bit earlier, Greg, So if Jack Doyle misses this week again, Eric Ebron looks like a tight end one. Doc. I wanted to ask you about two running backs playing in the same game
this week, a game that we really like. It's actually the Falcons against the Cincinnati Bengals with a fifty one game total, so Vegas is expecting a lot of points in this one. But obviously Joe Mixon and DeVonta Freeman, they're availability instantly affects guys like Geo Bernard and Tevin Coleblan, guys who we have ranked very highly this week as RB ones. So what's the latest on both of those guys. I know DeVonta Freeman didn't practice yesterday. It looks like
Joe Mixon didn't practice today. Is this another week where both of those running backs are sitting out. Yeah, there's no reason for them to be in the game. I mean, they need to sit out. We have DeVante Freeman at week five, and we have Joe Mixon all the way to week eight, and so, um, you know, I don't think that, Uh, if we do see them start in the game, that's a very very that's not that's not
a good decision. But um, at the end of the day, remember Devonte Freeman has multitude of injuries and concussions, and he was injured in week one, and so he's at thirty one percent injury risk right now, he's all the way down to thirty eight percent and um, you know had health. So it's just not not a good thing in Joe Mixon. You know, he just went he just underwent knee surgery last week, and he had there was a bunch of loose particles that they had to remove.
They had to train in meniscus because of his miniscus there. So it was a great three knee injury. And and there's no I mean, I know the team gave him a two to four week recovery time. That is. I don't know if that's games been shipped or not, but there's no way a great three knee injury is gonna have a two to four week recovery time. It is
a six week minimum. And that's why we have him at HTR week eight, right, And I know that might scare some people who listening, and obviously like what Joe Mixon was doing early on in the season, you want him to come back, definitely. As a fantasy owner, you almost rather the Bengals take a cautious approach and just rest him until he's completely healthy so that you can have Joe Mixon from week I mean whenever we get him back, whether it's six, seven, eight, I know eight
is the optimal recovery time according to Inside Injuries. But you want him to be fully healthy once he returns and not for the Bengals to rush him back. Yeah, you absolutely, because you want to have the same guy that was on the field week one that you were excited about in particularly Week two. Uh, and not a guy that we have shelled himself and not not running scared but running a bit um not the lad running a bit as it's in prohibited. I guess is has
hesitants a really good word too. So that's what you need from Joe Mixon. Speaking of young running back Sonny Michelle is the starting running back now in New England as Rex Burkhead hits the i R with a neck injury. How serious is his neck injury is? Is there a chance that he's back later this season? What is what are you reading and seeing and hearing when it comes to Rex Burkhead? Yeah? You see you guys see me shaking my head, right. So, I mean we've talked about
this all the time with the Rex Burkhead. I mean he was high injury risk before the season. We knew that it was just a matter of time, you know, our high injury risk in the preseason means that there is a chance of injury in the first four or five games, and and a pretty significant one in this The fact that they put him on I R can only mean one of a couple of things. Um that he has a very subtle or small fracture in his neck, or he has a discarniation of some sort like that.
I mean that that is the only thing that would really significantly put you know, a guy on I R like this right away. The team is obviously not coming out with it. But he was high before, he's high now, I mean he's he you know, I think this is I don't know if we'll see him back this season. Um, that's why I mean, are we have week thirteen right now potentially? Well? Is that is that is that eight week? More?
That is that eight week mar whre Riskburg can come back potentially, So you get him for the player front A get it, you're gonna you're gonna drop the Obviously he's not I run list if you haven't, or you have my rs, but your stash him there. Um, but I would counter wrest brokehead at all ten weeks by the way, it's ten weeks, yeah, yeah, ten weeks excuse me, sorry, ten weeks away, um, which allows him to come off the I r S. Think you with New England here, Frankie.
Josh Gordon acquired last week by the Patriots did not play either due to not knowing the playbook well enough or that hamstring injury. What's the latest on Josh Gordon from a health perspective? Okay, so um, the very fact that he has been off the field for so long that he had no injuries. So even this minor it's a very minor hamstring tweak. Um it it's only two weeks um right now, week four, um is what we're showing that he should be back. But it didn't really
affect his numbers too much. Um, he's still he's he almost pushed him into elevated uh injury risk and he's at the border of low and elevated. So another week of rest and boom he'll be back to low and peak. Basically week four dry real quick. We only have a and it left Marcus Mariota. We know he's been dealing with the nerve issue. They've already confirmed that he will start in week four. Is that a smart decision by
the Tennessee titles. You know, I don't know if they have any other decision though, you know, with what happened Blaine Gabbett right, so um, whether it's smart or not, it's just I don't think they have a choice. The issue with Marcus Mariota is the fact that this sounds like cubital tunnel syndrome. And what that is is the allnern nerve passes through the elbow and they're spurring right around that area, so it keeps rubbing up against those spurs,
and so that's what this sounds like. And if that's the case, he has to be operated on to release and open that space up, which is a six to eight week recovery. So I don't think they can afford to lose him for eight games. And so you know, he's gonna try to inject that area, could become pain free, keep the inflammation down, and keep throwing it. But a whole game of throwing will affect an impact. And I don't know he appreciated. Doctor, you go, dr A from
inside injuries. We appreciate it. We're back here after this. There's only one place to listen to the best fantasy advice, and that's the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Two people's calls with a line of line of questions too, or we say that tomorrow we can take if you
have questions about involving players in tonight's game. I think we'll take your car. It's fair, Frase being very specific about the calls, and I knew that. That's why I asked yesterday we want to trade questions. We got like a star sit Oh, we're calling when day started, sit is kind of hard interesting, So we're calling up more and more prepared? Are we calling the high five? You're gonna have to go to the king for I'm gonna
I mean, you don't name your own. It's like, hey, I'm gonna give you five players, and I'm hired on than the rest of people. I mean, if you want it, what should we call it? Frank's five, the Fab five? Probably? I was thinking the friendly five BF type of friendly five. It's not bad, I can I could run that by Scott. I'm sure he won't have any issues with it. Best friendly five, best friendly. It might be a little bit best friendly fives BF. Yeah, I like that. Frank's that's
why you're in charge. That's why you're an executive. Greg, Oh, stop freaking. I had a conversation yesterday. Frank hates executives being or having all executives. Oh yeah, No, I'm not built for this kind of thing. Now. You you are very much so built for you think so yes, you know that's like you're doing a good job or like you're I mean you're doing that, you are doing a good job. I can openly say that you are more executive worthy than I am, because you can tell people
like it is right, like you you have backbone. I'm not like I'll look at someone doing something wrong and be like, hey, look man, like give you like a pad on the bag. You probably shouldn't be doing this like this. So a lot of times somethings like dude, what the heck are you doing? You need to do it like this. I don't think. I don't think I react like that. I think I'm pretty close. Um. I think there's a lot of times where there's something that
has to happen and Franks has his headphones on. I'm pretending he's not listening all the time, and he thinks I think there's sound playing, but I see that he's on Twitter and there's not anything anything. So sometimes I'm listening to things on Twitter more like he's just the conversations against the machine. Likely it's just a conversation in
the room that you're listening to. You no, or you know, I'll here's something that happens, and then quickly opened up premier like oh no, editing, sorry, Frank's best friendly five's up right now over at Rohado experts dot com. I'll start at the quarterbacks. We talked it's a bit downstairs before the show began. You Annie Dalton inside your top five is significantly higher than the consensus. You believe he's better than Aaron Rodgers this week, better than Big Bad,
better than Tom Brady and DeShawn Watson. What makes you like any Daltons so much? Yeah? This is really really aggressive, Greg, and I told with it last night. I'm like, do you have them too high? But then I just stuck to my guns. Look, we we like to We like this matchup a lot. This week. The game total again fifty one points. It's tied for the second highest total this week. Um And look the Falcons defense. Since they've lost Kian O'Neil and Dion Jones and now they've lost
Ricardo Allen as well, they're starting free safety. They have not been good the last two weeks. They've allowed at least three hundred and thirty five passing yards and three bunch sounds in each game. Greg three five passing yards to Cam Newton. There's a guy who typically throws for less than two hundred. He threw for nearly three and for fifty yards against the Falcons defense. And then we saw Drew Brees did last week. You threw for even
more than that. He threw for three touchdowns. He rushed for two more. We know that Andy Dalton has the ability to rush to football as well make plays with his legs. Um, he can score touchdowns too. So I just think there's a lot of points scored in this game. I think the Falcons defense is just reeling right now, and I think it's gonna go back and forth. I think we're gonna get a lot of points in this game. I could see performance three yards and and three touchdowns.
I can I can certainly see that in the Roman possibility for Andy Dalton in Week four. That's why I haven't ranked so high. You know, it's interesting I was. I said to you, I think during the break that, um, it was a sign between Ryan It's Patrick, Andrew Look and Baker Mayfield this week and you, Ryan, It's Patrick actually inside your top tens at number ten because Sensus
rankings over did you to me? Ryan Fitzpatrick is one of the hardest players to rank this week because on one hand, you want to say, let's just ride him always hot, right, like, let me just continue to rank him highly and the wheels fall off the bus. So the thing is, you know, at some point it's just gonna all crumble. It is all gonna crumble, and what better place for it to crumble than on the road in Chica, in Chicago with this Buck's offensive line not
very good. We saw the Steelers get a ton of pressure last week. And what happened when they got pressure? He threw termorble throws. He had three interceptions what honestly could have been four five interceptions. Yes, and that is all true. However, he was still a gun slinger and throwing and throwing and throwing a huge fantasy nights, scoring a lot of points. And for the Bucks have to go back and forth at good point. That's a good point, drop right, the wheels falling off like I dropped. I
dropped down to seventeen. Down to seven might be too much, but I just really liked the matchups for guys like Eli Manning going up against New Orleans. The Saints are lying the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this year, and I tweeted out earlier in the week Drink that the last two times that Eli Manning has faced the Saints, he's thrown for at least three hundred and fifty yards. One of those games he threw for zero touchdowns and
zero interceptions. The other game he threw for six touchdowns and zero interceptions. So you know he's gonna throw the ball at least forty times. He's gonna give you over three hundred yards. And you have to imagine if he's throwing the ball that much, he's gonna at least have you know, one or two touchdowns, maybe be a few picks, but there's a lot of points scored there against the Patriots. Yeah, so it's gonna get into You have Eli fifteen right now.
I guess he's moving U because Fitzpatrick's dwags. You have Eli at fourteen, Tannehill at fifteen, and those are two guys that are really constreamers for this week. Um. In my situation personally, when you get to your calls in just a second, my situation personally, I have Andrew Luck. I picked the baker Mayfield for this week. You have both Mayfield and Luck behind those guys Manning and Tannehill
this week. Mayfield since at nineteen looks it's at twenty one. Um, how come I guess Andrew Luck is so low at one UM to a Houston defense. Just a lot of a lot of yards, a really good game from Eli Manning, and I think a lot of people are feeling low Baker this week. How come you're not? I like Baker, and I think ranking him at nineteen is not a bad ranking. I still kind of want to see him go out and do it. I don't think the Raiders defense is great by any means, but it's just the
guys that I have ranked just ahead of him. I like those matchups more. Plus we've seen those guys do it before. Again, this is Baker Mayfield's first start on the road, and again I like him for the season long. I just like these guys more for their Week four matchup again, Eli against the Saints, a lot of points scored there. Tannehill against the Patriots. Their secondary has looked absolutely brutal Vegas. I was expecting a lot of points there.
Plus the Dolphins could be playing from behind Um and in case Keenum going up against the Chiefs defense. The Chiefs defense makes every single offense look good. Their their secondary is just not good. And this game is actually at home in Denver, so I think it's a little bit more of a competitive game. Uh So for those reasons, I like those guys more than Baker. It's not a matter of me not liking Baker. I just like those guys more than him. A week before and Andrew Luck,
I'm just overall worried. Five point one yards per a tenth on the year, that's by far the lowest of his career. Said that he can make all the throws, yet they took him out of the game late last week for Jacoby Brusett. So look, if Andrew Luk burns me this week, I'm completely fine with that happening. Like if he if he's on my bench and he goes off, I'm fine with that happening. Because is what has Andrew Luck done to this point to inspire confidence in him?
There's nothing, no, he hasn't And I get it, man, I completely get it. For four eight, four, three, six, seven nine. Let me go to Nathan in New Jersey. What's going on? Nathan? Thanks for yeah? Oh you hear you? What's up? Man? Alright? So I got a few lot of questions for this week. Uh First, on the running phos running back position. I have one of my teams that have Sony Michelle and Corral. But I just want to know if I Corral over Sony Michell or it's
Monny Mischill over Correl this week. So I'm gonna start Sony Michelle over Crow this week. Cruell clearly at a time share right now with Bla p how obviously is the extra rest of Thursday Night. But you had a huge game, um against Cleveland, But so did Blap Howell. The touchdowns were obviously there for the Crow show, Um Blah Pow. I believe I touched him in that game, and Carol facing a very tough Jacksonal defense. I don't know that we ruined the run. I'm excited to see
what Sony Michelle could do against Miami. I like, I like Sony Michelle. Yeah, and then and then the RoCE. Look at this one. I got Tyler Board or Microcoxy for the plex. That's a good one. That's a very good one. Tyler Boyd. I might have these guys back to back, Tyler Boyd against Atlanta, right and Michael Crabtree versus Pittsburgh Joe Hayden back obviously. Yeah, I'm gonna use Tyler Boyd just based on the way he's being used targets, Yeah, Crabtree,
I believe it's double digit targets and back to back games. Again, it's like a one A one B with John Brown and the Steelers secondary has not been good. So I like both of these guys a lot. Honestly, I would try to find a way to get both of them in my lineup. But I lean Tyler Boyd just based on what he's doing and the injuries to the Yeah, because my other two receivers and Antonio Brown, Okay, yeah, I mean those guys that are must start player. So yeah,
I would go to Tyler Boyd, but it's close. Hys four four eight four three six seven nine. My buddy Max uh, friend of the program, supposed to be traded and he wanted me to can't call him, but he wanted He's unavailably so us where does Max work? It was in New Jersey? What is New Jersey now? It's in It's in Brooklyn. Max does um logistical stuff, probably something where he could just spend a bunch of people's other their money. And no, I think it's kind of
just that was that was a fab thing. He spends all his fab with, reckless abandoned you can tell me though logistics something about some of the logistics. All right, yeah, that's like way over my head. Um, So anyway, I have Odell beckhaman trade he offered me Odell Beckham for the fifteen dollars Fabbiots left. Um Isaiah Crowell, Derrick Henry, DeVante Freeman to Marii Cooper. Yeah, I'm gonna tell you what I told you downstairs. I want I want everyone
to hear it. Yeah, I'm not doing that trade because A, you're trading for an injured player in DeVonta Freeman, and we just heard Dr a say, um, all the injuries that he's dealing with, he's going to be injury prone for the rest of the season. So even if he's ready to return, it's not gonna be this week. And you need to win this week and you need to help this week. Isaiah crow Well, he's a flexi ning back.
Doesn't really push the needle for me. It's just if I'm trading away Odell Beckham, like I told you downstairs, and I need depth. I want two players that are going to be starting worthy players on my team. Like I want a low end wide receiver one and high end RB two. Or vice versa. I need to like top FEF team players at their position in order to trade Odell Beckham. Maybe I rank I view him too highly, but I think this is the week where he goes
absolutely ballistic. Right, It's possible I would probably hold him this week and then try and trade him at for next week because he's gonna go off. Okay, I'm calling a hundred yards and two touchdowns at least beam. That's that's very exciting. Four eight, four, three, six, eight seven nine. Let me get to your tight en ings. I want to say the running backs, the wider sivers for tomorrow, and before I do, I want to sign up YouTube now. I thank you for watching the Fantasy Football Frenzy with

Now, we spoke a lot about the Thursday Night guys playing tonight. I could see this as a bounceback performance for Russell Wilson. I have him as my tenth rand quarterback. Everything else is pretty much status quo if you're playing in a a super flex or two QB league. I think there's some upside
for Joe Flackle this week going up against the Steelers defense. Obviously, if we like John Brown, we like micro A Tree, we have to like the person who's throwing him the ball, and that's Joe Flaco. I just think he's sneaky and super flex le Okay, so there you go, um getting the tight end position. We talked I at half point, pbr up. I know that's not how you really meant to do it, but that's how I have the top five tight ends or very much? Do you expect Kelsey
and Art's ground Rudolph Graham that that's fine. I'm trying to look something that stands out, and the person thing that stands out to me, Frankie is at number nine, and that's George Kittle. George Kittle remains inside your top ten with c. J. Bethard throwing in the ball. In case you've forgotten, c J. Bethard went to college with George Kittle at Iowa. They're best friends, they love each other, whatever, No,
we're best friends. We're the best friends forever forever. George Kittle still inside your top ten despite the lost Jimmy Garoppolo. Kittle has let people down week after week consistently thus far. Why do you think he remains a top ten tight end this week? That's for the reason you mentioned Greg.
It's together. Yeah, Look, they have familiarity with each other on and off the field, they've played, they're going back to their days at college, and we know that C. J. Bethord is a guy that's more so going to check the ball down. I think that helps the running backs of pass catching running backs here and obviously the tight ends, like he's going to be a safety blanket for him plays over the middle of the field. Uh. And just because they have that familiarity, Um, we know that young
quarterbacks tend to lean on the tight end positions. So it's kind of similar to what we said about Josh Rosen and Christian Kirk earlier in the week, is that they've they've practiced together, they run together as the backups, and I just think having that rapport going back to their days at college. Um, George Kittle is still going to see a pretty decent target share, and for that reason, I still think he's a low and tight end one stree with any of that. Yeah, listen, it takes a
crapshoot position. It's like he's still gonna get targets. Like I think I like Tyler Effort a little bit better this week than I do George Kittle. Like I think Effort, you can make that argument. Yeah, I mean Ifford Sport teen, Kittle's nine for you. There's a bunch of people in there. Um I'm excited about and Joe Who and Iffor Who of thirteen and fourteen. I think that both their targets could go off and gonna be big weeks for both of them. Baker within Joeku and certainly Effort being healthy
getting involved the offense last week. Maybe it's a sign of things to come. Even high on Ben Watson all week. He sits at number eleven for you, which makes sense. We mentioned Red Ellison Dallas got it before Ellison got it both seventeen and eighteen for you, higher Ricky Seals Jones and higher than Will Display. Yeah. Will Disley just fell off the face of the earth last week, and I think that's gonna be a frustrating situation dis leave versus Vannette. And then also At Dixon's gonna be back
in the mix this week. It's either this week or next week. It was weeks six, so he's I think he's gonna miss the first four I thought it was the first of the spot whatever first three or four weeks. Anyway, At Dixon is coming back at some point, so it's just gonna jumble up that situation. UM, So I don't really trust him overall, and these are just lower end
streaming guys. If al Shon Jeffrey doesn't go, we saw the way Dallas Goddard was used, um and I think you know, the Eagles can kind of employ uh a two tight end set here where both guys are fantasy viable. It's not really something that we've we see done often. It's not really something we've seen successful since the days of Rocklandkowski and Aaron Hernandez. But Alice Goddard is that athletic, he is that good of a pass catcher. He was the top tight end coming out of college. So maybe
they can be that successful. I think I certainly think so for this week. If Alston Jeffrey doesn't play, that Dallas Goddard is in the mix, and then Rehet Ellison looks as Eli Manning is always going to target tight end at least, you know, four or five times a handful of times you're just kind of hoping that he scores a touchdown in that high scoring game against the scenes. Last known with tight ends, Frank has advanced McDonald at sixteen Jesse James all the way down at twenty two.
Frank buying the hype on Advanced McDonald after last week's break out performance. Yeah, I think it's gonna be kind of hard to figure out weekend and week out, but I'm just gonna kind of play the trends, like, whoever is trending more so in the right direction, I'll take that player. So Vance McDonald had the big game. Uh, he had five or six targets, turned it into the long stiff arm touchdown. We all saw it. So I will ride the hot hand in Vance McDonald if I
need a tight end. Streams, Rams and Vikings Tonight. Rams are seven point favorites. I absolutely love the Vikings. Give me the Vikings and the over tonight, Frank your pick. I'll take the Vikings. I'll take the Adam Feeling prop for the over. I'm not touching the games. Over bettas football Freendsie comes your way next. For Frank's stample, my name is Greg Sussel. He so much for watching the BFF do it all gonnamorrow, We hope
