Forever Show. Start listening to us or suffer the consequences. List do due? Did Yeah? Now welcome, happy yours by day from mine, my god, Frob Say, Francis, Franka stantaball ladies and gentlemen your BF. With that, we welcome you inside up studio at thirty four. This is the BFFs. Here's Frank Staffele, I am Greg Susman. Frankie. What's happening, buddy? Happy Thursday to you. No football, No Thursday Night football tonight.

It kind of feels weird, but we will talk about the alternate Thursday Night football broadcast which are airing on Saturday. It's Saturday, sleep right, so we'll we'll jump into that. Get some updates on some injuries here, but before all that. How did you sleep, buddy, weird man? I woke up and I look, I was, I must be trying it off, like so like a light on outside my window. It was one thirty and I've been sleeping for very long. Then there's one of those nights when you just woke

up like a lot, just tick on the clock. I woke up like four thirty and then eventually woke up myself. Well though, I feel good. I feel a lot better than I did um earlier this week, where I was battling the sickness early on. Right now Thursday, we're toward the end of the week. Light at the end of the tunnel here, Yes, when we get Gregg speaking in cliches, that's how you know what's gonna be. How are you, buddy? I'm doing well. I don't nearly sleep as well as

you do every night. Last night was fine, but yeah, rearing and ready to go. Here, Greg, let's go more cliches should we start? Let's go? All right? So on the program today, Virginia Zakis will join us on the program. A lot of injury updates, we hope, specifically for players that reside in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Well Virginia. We're gonna preview the Saturday games today. We have a lot of Sunday games to get you tomorrow. But I want to start on the news that we're hearing about Dalvin Cook. I

think it makes the most sense. So the news came out early this morning. If you're listening to our station all day, you've heard it. Dalvin Cook not expected to be available on Sunday. In fact, with the Vikings seemingly liked locked in to that sixth seed unless they win two in a row and the Packers lose two in a row, they're gonna rest Dalvin Cook for each of the next two weeks and get him ready for the playoffs, where, hey,

they may wind up facing any they're gonna face. They're gonna face the You, they face the Packers potentially again in the first round. They'll face the Packers, or they will face the Saints. Wow. Yeah, so most likely I think face the Packers in the first round. So they want Dalvin Cook to be ready for that one. Yeah, absolutely, Greg. And of course, right before we come on the air, here I see a little road O World blurb update

on Dalvin Cook. What it once was saying that he's going through his normal preparation for Week sixteen, like nothing is wrong. He's coming in, he's doing what he normally does. Yeah, it doesn't look like Dalvin Cook is going to play, so I wouldn't read too much into this. We got the report earlier today that he is looking doubtful for this week. It's on Monday Night football, So the earlier

we get this information, obviously the better it. Teams. Like every single year, Greg this time of year in the Fantasy playoffs, in the Fantasy Championship, we have one or two big names going into either a Sunday night game a Monday night game that we don't know who's gonna play, and it kind of pauses hysteria for fantasy football. You don't know if it's gonna if Madison is gonna play. You don't know if Mike Boone is gonna be the guy.

You almost want everybody is to sit except Mike Boone just so he can have a full workload and a good match up against the Green Bay Packers. So these are all things that you have to consider. You know, maybe just have another Minnesota Viking player available, a Green Bay Packers player, just in case you don't know what's gonna happen, but there's a lot that's going to happen before Monday. I can assure you that I think Saturday be the big day to know whether or not Alexander

Madison will be available for this one. Saturdays when they have to give out the injury designations. Today, of course, was the first day of practice for Minnesota. The first time we heard from Mike's Diammer or you don't believe anything out of now, You said that Dalvin Cook kind of going through his normal routine here today. I think they do hold them out right, like, I think they see the bigger picture. They see that they're going to

the playoffs. They make sure down with Cook's healthy. What I do believe from Mikesammer, maybe this is not even believing. You know, that's exactly what I said earlier in a month Greig, when he was first dealing with the shoulder, I said, after that Seattle Seahawks game, send him out a few games. You need him for this Packers game because it's a huge divisional matchup. So who knows, maybe he would have been less likely to reinjure himself if he sat out until now. While he was recovering from

this shoulder injury. So again, well, I don't really believe anything about Mike Zimmer. One thing I kind of do want to believe is that he was asked, how would the offense change if they don't have Alexander Madison and they don't have Dalvin Cook, and he says it wouldn't. We would just do what we do and Mike Boon.

But they hope it doesn't come to that. So I want to take that statement because that was a big statement that I read this morning as all right, the Vike he's needs to be and they're gonna beat the Packers on Sunday, they and on Monday, and they do want to beat the Packers. They gotta play their game, and more cliches there you go. You have to play their your own game, and that is mostly running the football, and against the Packers, what's the way to win? Run

the football. The secondary is very good. So if Dalmin Cook doesn't play and they don't want to have to go to Mikepoon, we hopefully doesn't come to that. It certainly seems like the idea we're all circling around is that Alexander Madison's the guy on Monday night and he gets his normal workload. I think if he is active, he is going to play the majority of the snaps. He's going to be the man on Monday. From what

I have read Madazine. This comes from Ian Rabbitport madasine is day to day, but it's hopeful to play on Monday night. Yeah. I saw that as well, and again it's you know, take what you will from Mike Zimmer's quotes. I saw earlier today on Alexander Madison. He said, quote, he's doing better, He's got a good chance for Monday, right. I also saw that Jeff Ratcliffe of PFF quote tweeted that and said that Mike Zimmer said the same thing about Adam Feeling in week eleven and then he didn't

play until week fifteen. So you gotta take what Mike Zimmer says with a grain of salt. But I think either way, you know, if Alexander Madison is active, Greg, while he will see the majority of the workload, it's still going to be split. Like Dalvin Cook has been great this year, but Alexander Madison has still had a role in the games that Dalvin Cook was really good. So it would likely be Madison steps into that Dalvin

Cook roll. Mike Boone steps into the Alexander Madison role normally when both him and Dalvin cooker healthy, So it would probably be a sixty thirty five split something like that. And we know what they want to run the football. You're right about that because the Vikings have the second highest rushper rush percentage in the NFL. Green Bay package allow a ton of fantasy points of running backs, so you're right. Someone's gonna be a beneficiary here. You've gotta

pay attention. I want to reach some quotes from Vikings practice so you could play along with us and try to understand what's happening. We'll do that on the other side, your VFS rolling on right after this. I want to be the next Daily Fantasy Millionaire. Dunk on your NBA DFS competition with Daily Rodal dot com and dominate on

UM roll before by cons practice. Now, I haven't finished practice yet, so we don't have a

injury designation, poff form Madison or a Cook. Um. Here are some quotes I wanted to read you. Uh. These all come courtesy of Courtney Cronin, who's an ESPN writer who covers the vikings. Davin Cook addressed whether his new shoulder injury presents a pain management issue or puts him at risk for further damage. We placed through it as we had said. The last shoulder injury was all pain manager.

There's no more damage he could have done. He said this quote, It's just about getting healthy, paint and all that comes with the game. You can bear so much, you can do so much. It's all about being healthy. And I think that's where I'm when I'm at my best for the team. So let's let's translate that. Let's use our translator, Google translator. Frank, What did Doblin Cook just say? Dalvin Cook has said that as long as he is hurting this badly in his shoulder. He is

not going to play. I think he says, quote, I'm not healthy. I'm much better when i'm healthier than I currently am. I can't help the team like I want to help the team. I'm not playing on Monday night. Yeah, And I think that's fair. And it's all semantics, right, because you know this is what we heard last time. It's he can't further injure his shoulder. It's all pain tolerance. Well what does that mean. I mean, it's basically the same thing anyway though, right, because it's not on Sunday,

it's not the same thing. That's something he got tackled. All he did was get tackles normally and then he's writhing on the ground in pain. So whether or not you want to call that him being hurt badly because it's a pain tolerance issue or re injuring the shoulder, it is different, because I don't think that it is really that different. I think it's semantics, like either way, he's not gonna play through explain it. He's not gonna

play through it either way. So being hurt badly for us, he's a shoulder, right, he hurt badly is if I hit you and I break your collar bone. You are hurt badly. If I hit you, you go out writhing in pain, but you can come back a week later. You couldn't injure yourself any further. It's just about pain management. That's how it's different. But it's not gonna I don't think that's him in the short term. And you say we get better, But him playing for you shoulder injury,

there is no risk. There's no theoretically different risk than if he was undid healthy of a chance that tearing his collar book or separating his shoulder. It's all about the pain, him playing through pain, and right now the pain has reached the point where he can making the pain worse. So it's enhancing that he's making the pain worse, But the injury itself can't get worse. It's not he's not a bigger risk to separate or dislocated his shoulder.

I understand what you're saying, like in terms of something bigger than what it is. That's what it means. But he's still further injuring himself. No, he's not further injuring himself. He's just causing he's creating more pain. Yes, again, it's all semantics. If he can't play through it, he can't play through it anyway, So does all we care about from bigger it's not a big, bigger injury and that it's going to be something he's surgery on for instance.

All right, I mean either way, like I don't think he's not gonna play great. Let me give another quote translate Dowale Cook runs the ball and catches passes in his absence, just to myke eximmer to the roles of other running acts change, especially in the passing game. No, they can catch the ball, they're good in protection. They're just different guys. Really, the system doesn't change much. So, as I told you in the first segment, they run the ball the second most in the NFL. I don't

think that they're going to shy away from that. They're going to try and run the ball effectively, set up play action, take deep shots with Stephan Diggs, Adam Felan Will. I think likely see more of a workload. I know that they're saying that the offense is not going to change, but like when Dalvin Cook was healthy this season and at his best, he was getting twenty plus touches in the game, so I don't know that either Alexander Madison or Mike Boone is going to see that work away.

The disagree. I think they trust Alexander Madison, and I think of Alexander Madison, you're you're really optimistic on Madison.

I'm not nearly as optimistic as you are about what about him playing in general or about him play, because I think there's different things, like I have no idea because we've seen I'm not optimistic at all a bunch of running backs, not just this year, every single season and try and come back from an injury too soon, and either you're not effective or you end up reinjuring yourself throughout the course of the game. So I'm not optimistic. I don't even know that he plays. To be honest,

what's what I'm saying. I'm not optimistic necessarily of him playing. I have no idea how he's going to play. I I don't and we'll see. Obviously it'll se the injury destination. But I think if he plays, much like we've seen with Dalvin Cook over the last two weeks, they're going to try to give him a monster workload. I don't think they back off. I'm not saying it's gonna be effective. I'm not saying he's not going to re injure himself.

I am saying, though, that I think they're going to try to be who This is what me translating the quote. They're gonna try to be who they are, and they trust Alexander Madison significantly more than they trust them Mike Boon. Well, they trusted Mike Boone and he came through for them last week. And you know, I'm going to remain consistent when I say that about young players. They gave him

an opportunity in that game against the Chargers. Mind you, a lot of that was garbage time, but he comes through, He runs for two touchdowns. He has a great athlete profile, he was a preseason darling Mike Boone was. So I think that they do like this kid, and I think that you know, they're not gonna run Alexander Madison out there unless he is. You're right about that, and I don't know that he's going to be I'm a little bit more pessimistic. I don't know that. I don't think

Madison's gonna shoot suit up this week either. I think that it's going to be Mike Boone, and if that's the case, he's probably gonna see around twenty touches. They'll work Amra Abdullah in a little bit here. The way to beat the Packers is on the ground. They have a great pass rush, they have a solid secondary. I'm not gonna go as far as to say the Packers have a great secondary. They have a solid secondary. I think r Alexander has some upside, but they do have

a really good pass rush. So I do think that the Vikings are going to continue to run the football with whom again, I think we won't really know until that lead up till Saturday when we see the final practice before for the Vikings. Salad Cook says, I'm going through my normal routine of getting ready for Monday night. What he told us about road a world, and we're

going to see how it goes. I've been in the training room every day, starting my mornings early every day and just grinding and get my shoulder so I can be available. I'm going to go through my normal preparation. If I'm ready to go, I'm ready to go. Obviously. Immediately after the game he initially injured a shoulder, He'll say I'll play. I will be there next week. He said the same thing last time. He is never no, no, he's agreed. He is not saying this last time he

said I'll play next week. He's not saying I thought I thought you were saying that. He said that this week. No, no, no, he didn't. So I think it's injuring. I don't think he's gonna play. Yeah, he's a different injury in the last time. He's also saying, Oh, but I thought he couldn't you know, further injury anything. It's a different I mean that that would be further injuring it, am I right?

So I it's all semantics, right. Everyone will say, oh, it's a pain tolerance thing, it's another injury, can't come in. I don't know. I don't buy that, man, Like, there's so many different things that can happen with your shoulder. Look, I'm not a doctor. We could save it for and inside injuries and we'll find out from her. But you know, say whatever you want, Like you're play in the NFL.

You're getting tackled by a three fifty pound guy and this guy lands on you and on top of your shoulder, Like, I have no doubt that's something different can come out of that injury. That's just it is what it is. Like I think once you're hurt, like yeah, you're gonna be susceptible to all the different kinds of things. And look, he only did was get tackled. It didn't even look that bad on Sunday and the guys on the ground writhing in pain like this risk was always there with

Dalvin Cooke. Here's the last quote I want to quote I wanted to give you in regards to this. They we can move on, want to come back on Virginia joins us like he's coach. Mike Zimmers said, Alexander Madison is quote doing better, says on Mike Boone. We hopefully we don't need him on Monday, So voted Mike Boone. Ever do heard that quote? That's what made me think, if Madison is available, did Boone fumble at all on this past week? Gosh? And that that was like a

damning quote. That's the quote that made me think, if Madison is available, they're going to ride Madison like they would if he was healthy. Yeah, I guess, and they shouldn't play him unless he's one. We've heard that before. We heard the same thing with t Y Hilton last week and the guy only plays you know of the snaps. Still saw a lot of targets. But last week, no, he did not fumble. My Boone did not fumble in that game. I don't know that that seems I don't know.

It seems like a very damning quote for you know, a young player in Mike Boone who just performed pretty well. He's only twenty four years old again a second season undrafted out of Cincinnati. I like the athletic profile too, but it's kind of messed up. Mike Zimmer, way to uh wait, way to put some some faith and confidence in your young players. As I said, I I think that there's a reason why bood has been number three in the depth chart all year, where four when a

mirror Dulo was ahead of him. He believes that the other guys give a better chance to win significantly, and that includes Alexander Madison even on a bad manco You know what's hilarious is that Mike Boone also has like this dread bund thing, the dreaded trail. Yeah, I know that sounded to the closer or like calls Alexander Madison and Dalvin Cook, the Dreaded duo. Who whoa, whoa. There's three in this mix that would make it a dreaded trio.

I guess they all go to the same barber, Greg, Yeah, yes, so Frank, Yes, all right, coming up next to zakas will join us. We'll get into all this with her. We'll put a bow on this conversation. We'll move over some of the other injuries that are are affecting your fantasy lineups here uh this week. We will also um then start pleading the Saturday games. I really want to get into all three of those games if we can.

I don't think it's gonna be tough in that final segment, but we've got we've got a lot of talk with Yeah, that's true. We have that that final three minute. You gotta talk about Prascod Perriman, like we've been talking about Prascod Perriman. We have some of the questions that I'm getting, are they're crazy? I was asked Perriman or Bell, and I paused, exactly and I paused, all right, break. Virginia Zak is up next here on the the FFS. I

Your championship is online and I break it down with us. It's Virginia Zagas of inside injuries. What's happened Virginia? Hey guys, how's it going good? How are you how here? How are you hanging in there? Hanging in there? Got the go ahead today to start trying to h do a little bit of walking. So looking

forward to that. All right, the little things, the little things exactly put it in perspective. Absolutely. Let's start where we've been talking about the whole show, Virginia, and that's what's going on in Minnesota. Where Dalvin Cook re injured his shoulder, made his shoulder worse, whatever you want to call it, but he is significantly hampered by that shoulder injury once again. Alexander Madison still out with his ankle injury, which means on Monday Night Football it may be all

about Mike Boone Virginia One. Are the chances that either Dalvin Cook or Alexander Madison play on Monday how significant or both of these two injuries. Yes, there's been some conflicting reports on Dalvin Cook. Um. Some people have said, you know, he's going to try to fight through and play through the injury. I'm gonna sort of tough it out, even though he won't be. Other reports have said that the Vikings are hopefully going to shut him down the final two weeks of the season, let him rest um

and hopefully fully recover ahead of the playoffs. UM. Not surprising. Our algorithm is saying that they should shut him down for the final two weeks um, and if they do that, he should have a pretty good chance of being quote to a percent by the time the playoffs come around. Um. Of course that's not what his fantasy owners want her here, but he is not going to be UM anywhere near healthy if he does try to play this weekend. UM. You know a lot of the time we see these

running backs with shoulder injuries. They can play pretty well through the injury, but all it takes is one big hit or one hard fall on that shoulder and their day is done. And that's what I'm concerned about with Dalvin Cook. So no surprise, he's a high injury risk, health performance factors below average, UM, and I'm just not convinced that if he does play, he'll be able to make it through the game. UM. And best guess is he does not play. I guess on Monday. UM. Madison

not looking too much better. He heard his ankle in week fourteen, missed last week. UM. Their coach said today he's unsure if he would practice. So it's looking like he's going to start the week off with a d n P. Obviously someone to watch closely, but we're showing that he really shouldn't return until next week at the earliest, UM,

due to this ankle injury. Yeah, we'll take that. Mike Zimmer, you might want to start saying some nice things about Mike Boone because it's looking like He's going to be your guy on Monday Night football. Obviously, this is the biggest story heading into Week sixteen, our championship week Virginia. Another player we've been talking about all week long and where to rank is Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots. And I saw a video on Twitter yesterday of him

trying to practice and it looked brutal. He did not look good out there. He's dealing with the knee, he's dealing with the shoulder. He's thirty three years old. It seems like things are starting to catch up to him. What do you guys have on Julian Edelman? How effective will he be? He's playing on a short week on Saturday. What do you have on Edelman? Yeah? Unfortunately, Edelman is one of those guys. We've had him in the high

risk category the entire season. UM. He's had a few other injuries, chest, thumb, this shoulder has been going on for a while, and now it's his knee. UM. I think this is the one that you know, it's finally really affecting his performance. UM. One we have learned that this is supposedly a tendon issue, so that probably means he's either dealing with the teller tendon nitis or a very slight tear to that proteller tindon. Either one is pretty concerning, and even if he takes a few weeks off,

both would continue to affect him into the playoffs. If he does play this weekend, UM not see him performing very well. Like you said, he's really not moving well. He got unlimited practices the last two days, but just has not looked good. Blacks that first and explosiveness that we need to see out of him. Um So, I don't you know. He could continue to try to play

through this like he often does. He's been questionable a lot of the season, but I don't see it going well if they do make him active, Greg, it's a tough situation. I have doing Edelman on a playoff team right now, you have doing Edelman on a championship team. And I understand that he's gotten you this far, but this might be the final straw. I don't know that we can trust Julian Edelman going into Saturday, tough matchup

with the Bills. He's banged up. I think if you have a legitimate wide receiver three or someone that's been playing well as of late Anthony Miller, Darius Slayton, a Tyler Boyd. In a good matchup, I think you have to look in another direction. So you were talking that yesterday you definitely start for Shardman. So let me going to another player we talked a lot about here this week, and that's Dak Prescott with what's going on with his shoulder.

Now we talked about before with Dalvin Cook. You play really well with a shoulder injury. Unlets you take a bad hit or you just land on it wrong and then everything kind of changes. Well, that's unless you're quarterback where you have to throw forty times a game. Dalmad Cook is not thrown yesterday in practice, has not thrown today in practice, being very very careful with him. But in a must win game against Philadelphia on Sunday, all

expectations are that he will be out there. Should fantasy owners put Dak Prescott into their lineups, I would not play him this weekend. Um. I do think he's going to try to fight through it, you know, as long as he can lift his arm up. I think he's going to try to play and see what he can do. But I don't see it going very well. Um, if you know, he's likely dealing with a lot of swelling, inflammation and that shoulder around that rotator cuff. And that's

a serious, serious concern. It limits its flexibility, it's gonna affect us throwing motion, it's gonna affect his strength. UM, that's going to lead to accuracy issues. And you know this is just not a good situation for the Cowboys right now. He is, of course a high injury risk. UM. He can take any sort of a hint if anyone Um, if he gets pressure and someone hits his arm while he's not throwing motion, that's gonna put a lot of stress on the rotator cuff. UM, it could make his

injury much worse, could force him to leave the game. UM. So if you've got any other viable option, I would play them over Dak Prescott. Brutal news Greg from a you know, if you're a Dak Prescott owner, if you're a Cowboys fan, if you're an a Mari Cooper owner, if you're a Michael Gallagher owner, I mean their backup quarterback is Cooper Rush. This could go south very quickly for the Dallas Cowboys in a must win game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week sixteen. Just a really tough

situation here, Greg Virginia. Another breakout wide receiver this year was DJ Chark and he is dealing with an ankle injury. He got any limited practice yesterday and I just saw on Twitter that he expects to get in a limited practice again today. What do you guys have on DJ Chark? Uh? Does this kind of fit in with his optimal recovery time or would he be returning too soon if he returns in week sixteen. Um? Yes, so we're showing actually a Grade one angle injury. Typically this would take two

to three weeks to heal. Um. So, as long as this was truly a mild ankle sprain, I think he can come back this week and play pretty well. Our projections have him been an above average HPS, so again, if it's mild, I think he can do pretty well. UM. I would like to see him get in a full practice Friday, or at least if he's officially limited, you know,

really go full speed. If he's not able to go full speed and run and cut it a hundred percent during practice, he definitely should not play in the game. But it looks like he is progressing and has a

pretty good shot at suitting up. I think that if DJ Chark is out there, if they deem that he's good enough to play in this game against the Atlanta Falcons, that makes him a low and wide receiver, too high and wide receiver three right in that area, A top thirty wide receiver this week obviously would uh limit some of the upside of Chris Connley. But I wouldn't completely get off of Chris Conny either. You love Chris Connay, you do now we Virginia Zakis. You're all of inside

injuries in Virginia. A name that Frank and I have thrown out in replacing Julian Edelman has been greg Ward. And we talked a lot about Greig Ward this weekin Who Knew? But greg Ward may that wasn't only be effective, it will sly be more effective. There's no Nelson A galore in a lot of it feels like we have an injured closed in a returning How close easier were to returning? Yeah, So Agona originally was hurt in week eleven, missed one week, and then returned to week thirteen, um

and then he hasn't played since. So aggravted that knee injury. Um, he didn't practice yesterday and it sounds like he's unlikely to return this weekend. Our algorithm is saying that he shouldn't return until week seventeen. UM, he's a high injury risk and you know best guesses he does not play. And if he does, UM, I don't see him, you know, playing playing a ton And if he does, UM, I don't think he's going to be nearly as effective as he was before the injury. Fire up the Greg Ward.

If Nelson Aghalore is out, the Cowboys have been eaten alive by slot receivers. And we just saw Greg Ward have a solid game last week. The targets were there for him as well. So again, if Lars out, fire up Greg Ward. I want to stick with the Philadelphia Eagles here Virginia. And yesterday we got a quote from Dick Doug Peterson saying Jordan Howard shoulder remains quote status quo.

I guess that means that he's not going to play, because if he's status quo, he hasn't played each of the past couple of weeks, past a month basically, and Miles Sanders has been very good. So is that what we're expecting for Jordan Howard to sit out. Yep. He hasn't played since Week nine and as far as we know, he is still not cleared for contact. I don't see that changing in the next few days. Um. He's been dealing with a stinger, which is essentially a nerve issue

near the shoulder. And the problem with these nerve issues is if they don't resolve within a few days, they're generally not going to resolve very quickly. Um. This one has taken a really long time, but it could This could be one of those things where he doesn't, you know, get back to normal until the off season. UM. A few more days you know, between now and the weekend is not going to be enough time for it to

resolve itself. So, you know, they haven't played him in the last you know, over a month, and I really don't see that changing now. Um, as long as he's you know, not feel a hundred percent, so I don't think he's gonna be out there again. UM, also probably likely to miss week seventeen. Now, the rest of the players that we wanted to ask you about, we know are are not playing this weekend. We wanted to know

more of the long term effects. So I'll begin here with I'll we get here with Josh Jacobs who heard his shoulder, played through it, then didn't play. He didn't play, and then play and they didn't play again. What's called all with Josh Jacob's shoulder. It's broken, it's not what's what's up here? Yeah, so his initial injury was a scapular fracture that he played through. UM. Pretty pretty painful injury. It's I'm actually impressed he he played as many weeks

as he did with the scacular fracture. It was likely you know, more of a hairline fracture of very slight fracture, still very very painful, especially because of the number of hits and hard falls are running back takes. UM. But I believe he had to have done done something else to his shoulder, some sort of an aggravation and um week thirteen, because he went on to miss week fourteen,

played last week and looked okay, but now isn't playing again. UM. So kind of like we said that Dalvin Cook, you know, slightly different injury here, but shoulder injury for running back it's just you know, even if you can make it through a game afterwards, You're going to be in a lot of pain. There's gonna be a lot of inflammation

if you can't properly lift your shoulder. Um, you know, it's it's not something that you can really play through, especially because of the pain and with the raiders you know, out of it right now, I don't think it's worth them taking any risks. Um. He's at a very very high risk of re injury right now if he were to play. So I actually think it's a smart decision for them to shut them down. Virginia Gregg prematurely skipped

over one name that still might play this weekend. I want to ask you about quickly, and that is Juju Smith Schuster, who was a limited participant in practice Wednesday. What can you tell us about Juju potentially returning this weekend? Um, So saw a report that it sounds like he's going to be a full participant practice today, which is great news. Um if he does. If he is full today, I'd like to see him get in a full practice tomorrow, especially because last week he had that setback where he

had a full practice and then was dropped down. But as long as he can make it through practice today and tomorrow, I think he's got a good shot at um doing pretty well. All right, there you go. She's Virginia Sagas for inside injuries. Virginia, appreciate the time and good luck walking. Absolutely all right. We'll take a break. When we come back, we'll start previewing Saturday's games here on the BFS. I want to be the next Daily

we do with Dak Prescott. The question was Jimmy Jr. Kirk Cousins Uh and him from Fred Martinez in the CHET and I said, I kind of like Jimmy g at home when Franks oh Man, I don't want to start him against the Rams for cousins Ow and eight in his career on Monday Night Football. He's a terrible prime time quarterback, but he wasn't terrible from a fantasy perspective earlier this year, they lost because he's a loser. Look, dude,

I don't care if you win lose. If you throw me three touchdowns a three hundred yards I could care less the old Blake Bortles game. I'm on the grid right now. Does that mean literally we were on the sports grew TV network right now? We are on the grid. We're always lighting up that. Yes, literally and figuratively, we are on the grid. Absolutely. Okay, So uh this Saturday afternoon we got three games. This is fun because the first game features the Houston Texans. It's kind of like a preview of two weeks from now in the NFL playoffs for the Houston Texans will play the early game on Saturday afternoon in the window.

That's the point. It's it's a Houston Texas money every single year. If you can bet on which team is going to play the first game on Saturday, it's going to be the text. You can lock this in. It's gonna be Houston and Buffalo four thirty pm Eastern time, Saturday, the first week of the playoffs. I love you said everything with confidence, and then you're like, what day is it? What day is it? Saturday afternoon? Bills and Texans lock it and I have texted back and forth with Michael Florio.

He feels very confident between whoever he will face, whether it is the Texans or the time Texas anymore. Yeah, he probably doesn't. I don't know anyway. So I was talking a game about this where you have the Bills of a second because they play four thirty on Saturday, right after the Houston game. He doesn't know what he wants because what does that mean? So he wants to beat the Patriots for like confidence reasons, right of course,

hold on, So it actually won't be the Texas. Texas go finish with the four seat of the three seat. The Bills are gonna be the five seed in the playoffs. It will be the four or five. It will be the four or five. Okay. So he doesn't want the Patriots to fall behind the Texans because if they do, he's gonna play the Patriots in the first round of the playoffs. So he's like, if if we beat them and Houston like wins out, they could get this. So he's like, do I want to You can't have it all.

So you've got a root for the Bills. I want them to win because we're gonna prove that we can fat these eyes. We're gonna go into Foxborough, not once, but twice. You're out of your mind. I love the confidence, the confidence in games. Picks for the Bills never wavers, no matter whose quarterback, no matter who's the coach. Nobody circles. We got the best bets tomorrow. How much you want to bet the Bils on that? I will. I will bet my entire bank account, Greig that the Bills are

on there tomorrow. Warning it will be fun. But before we get to feel his pace shots, let's get into Texans Bucks. It's a fun one from a fantasy perspective because Tim and Bay you have Jameis Winston, you have the offense and pieces Breschard Perriman will get into him in just a moment. Against Houston, who have their own offensive weapons. Here we will fuller and get any skills and certainly DeAndre Hopkins as well. Texans Tamba from Tamba

Bay on Saturday afternoon. Let's start where everybody wants us to start, Gregg, and that is with Kenny Stills. No Breshad Perryman. Look you went off last week five catches and thirteen yards, three touchdowns. No Chris god when he's already ruled out, Mike Evans will not play another game. Justin Watson will play in this game. The tight ends apparently are going to be more involved. According to Jameis Winston, why are you for getting Scotty Miller. Scotty Miller is

not going to play in this game. I believe he's already be ruled out. Hurt hurd get Scotty Miller pulled his hamstring last week. There's something going on with the Tampa Bay locker room where, dude, you gotta get some rubdowns on these hamstrings or something, because everybody is suffering from hamstring injuries in Tampa Bay right now. Hopefully Brashod Perryman is not one of those players. Uh this week, the Texans have been better against outside wide receivers greg

over the past eight weeks. I have this for you again. This comes from Graham Barfield does a great job with the NFL network. They're allowing the seventh fewest PPR points to outside wide receivers over the last eight weeks. That is where Brashod Perryman plays. He will not line up in the slot now. James Winson likes to throw the ball deep. He has the highest deep ball percentage in the NFL. That is exactly what Brashad Perryman does here. Greg, I have Brashod Perryman ranked as a low end wide

receiver too. Is that and accurate to you? Is that too high? Is it too low? I put out the poll before the show, Greg, how do you the people feel about Brashad Perriman this week? We've got fifty votes so far. Fifty six percent say that Brashad Perriman is a must start wide receiver. To me, a must start wide receiver is a top twenty four wide receiver. Say he's a solid wide receiver. Three you can't trust him. How high it's too high for Brashad Perriman, Greig, I

think it's top twenty four wide receiver? Makes sense? Forman, I think read the number one option in an offense that throws the boll downfield more than anybody in the NFL. As you just subscribed, you have to like him. He's not like you led the team in air yards last week too, so he saw the most incause Gowan played three quarters of that game, so it's not like there's Godwin coming back or there's Evans. I've explained multiple times that O. J. Howard sucks. It's for Shard Perriman man

like he's never at an opportunity like this. We know how Bruce arians coaches. He's a vertical coach, exactly what he does not match made in Heaven is a match made in heaven? Do you play him over Levan Bell revenge game? I know, man, it's a bad matchup for Levyan Bell. We'll talk about this more tomorrow. But someone asked me this question and I just paused because it's

a bad matchup. Everything says that you should not be excited about Levian Bell this week, Greg, but he's probably gonna score two touchdowns against his former team Harryman or Bell. I would start Levan Bell. I would start Levan Bell hesitantly. I'm doing it. That's my answer. Where was your answer? My answer was Perryman, But I struggled with it. It. Look, it's a tough matchup for Levian Bell. You have Levian Bell rank for your running back this week. I'm still

working on it. But he's gonna but there's no Thursday night game, so I could take take a little bit more times. Uh, he will be in that um, he'll be in in a similar range for running back as Perryman is for a wide receiver low n RB two, it's a tougher matchup. It is a tough matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Greg I don't really want to do

anything with the Bucks running backs here. I think you'd have to be really desperate, maybe in a league where you have two flexes, a four teen team league or deeper. Ronald Jones play the snaps last week. It's been off and on every single week. Houston has allowed the most receptions and the most receiving touchdowns to running backs this year. But the Bucks don't really use their running backs in

that way. Bruce arians said earlier this week that the running backs will be more involved in the past game because they have no other choice. You're buying that, Craig at the Tampa Bay running backs will be more involved in the pass game. You're out, You're out. You look in your championship week. I don't think you want to use any Bucks running back. I didn't want to us in a Week one like I draft to paint maarbar Like why did I do this? I think if you

do play on the DFS slate Saturday. Though Justin Watson plays in the slot a lot, and the Texans have struggled more against slot receivers in a season long. It's a little bit more of a limb for me to go out there and use Justin Watson. But if you just want to differentiate yourself on the DFS street, I do think Justin Watson for cheap is a solid option to go with. You already know how I feel about o J. Howard spoke about him all week long. Played

eighty percent of the snaps last week. Cameron Brak only played of the snaps. Both had seven targets. Howard ran more routes. Houston allows the eighth most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. I like Oja Howard as a tight end stream this week. Raig No, it's all I got for you know you're using DeAndre Hopkins obviously. I think Will Fuller is in play as the wide receiver three. Really, he was second on the team first game back. Last week played of the snaps, he had seven targets, five

or sixty one and now he plays Tampa Bay. Can you not like food yards written all over it? I'm with you, man, I like I think this is I think this is a boom game for will Fuller everything I agree with you, has allowed the most fantasy points to wide receive everything that they've allowed, the most targets, the most yards. They've allowed four team receptions of forty plus yards, this second most in the what's the If you're not going to start Will will Fuller in this game,

you should have never started him? Or negative on this? What is bad about Will Fuller? This week? I think I'm gonna have him even higher than what it? Who would you start Will Fuller? Shot Parraman I start for Shark Powerman because he's number one option in his offense. Yes, O J. Howard had more targets in him last week. O J. Howard shocks Greg. The stats don't lie. They Howard had more targets play in a point per target league. The stats don't lie. How me touched Howard this have

this season, It doesn't matter process of result. The stats don't lie. Targets were telling me. The stats don't lie. Shot Parium might have had more touchdowns last week than OJ Howard. He does. That's what I was getting to. Alright, alright, fine, alright, Jean Perriman over Will Fuller, but we do like both of them. He starting Carlos Hide this week. I think Carlos Hide is a flex. It's a tough match up against Tampa Bay, but he just tied a season high

with twenty six carries last week. Greg, they were playing with a lead. I think we get some back and forth here. Yes, tough matchup. Tim Bay allows the fewest yards per carried running backs this year. I'm not trusting Duke Johnson this spot, even though it could be some back and forth. Um, you know, maybe even the Texans fall behind in this game. But I can't do the Duke Johnson thing. I think Carlo's Hyde is a solid

flex option. He's looked great all year. I don't know, you know, the researches for him, you know, people writing him off. He's look great, Greg, Carlos Hyde or Julian Edelman. That agitation there, I'm I'm really worried about Edelman. I'm not really worried about Winston not having his top options. Volume is gonna be there. I would go layered. I

hate that. I think I think I'm just officially out now. Yeah, hearing what we heard from Virginia zakas Uh really kind of stealed the deal for Edelman's fate this week, Greg, But yeah, I do like Winston this week. Even though he's down his top options, the volume will be there. Even if he throws two interceptions, he might throw three fifty yards and three touchdowns. We just saw that last week.

So Winston Fuller, you're firing up both. I think that's everything for this game, and maybe we could get into one more about two minutes left, and I keep forgetting we had three minutes stick around. It's been plenty of times bills intras. We've spoken a lot about Julian Edelman, who's going to play, but he's going to be limited. Frank's all out on him, starting to guys like Patrick Laird and Carlos hide over him. Now, if Julian Edeman he's limited, I assume it means the Patriots gonna do

something different on offense. What is that difference? What can how can fantasy owners exploit this? I think the difference will be James White. I think James White is going to have a solid game. He had three carries, four targets last week. He had a receiving touchdown. Uh. He had a big game the last time they met as well. He had eight receptions in the first meeting with the Buffalo Bills. Believe he had double digit targets in that game.

Last week, Sony Michelle saw of the snaps. I think he probably sees around fifteen carries again, I think that the Patriots are really going to hashtag established the run in this game and the short pass. With James White, we likely see you know, more targets for I think peripheral players, right, Mohammed Sanu. Not that I want to start Mohamed Sanu, but he might be able to do just enough. A Mohammed san New line five for fifty. I think we see a little bit more out of

Mikil Harry. They're gonna try. It's not the way that you want to beat the Buffalo Bills by throwing to the outside wide receivers, but I think we see some Sony Michelle here. I don't really feel great about him. I think he's a low in flex option. I think Rex Burkehead is gonna do his usual probably you know, eight to ten touches a game. Uh. And I think James White is the one great He's probably the player that I like most in this game. I think he's

a high inflex option like James White this week. I think, especially as Juliettiman is limited as it seems like he's going to be, it wouldn't surprise me if he's lining up in the slot like this is the like the twelve target James White game. I'm not gonna trust Nikhila Harry. I'm not gonna trust Mohamed Sanu only though Sanu did lead the team with eight six percent of the snaps last week and eight targets. Don't care. He can't do

anything with those. Can't trust it. Um not championship week, and he loves you and he love for Rex Burkhead. You'd have to be real desperate. Deeper leagues, you know four teen teams are deeper, you start to flexes. The way to beat the Bills is on the ground. They've been susceptible to running backs. James Conner had a receiving touchdown against the Bills last week. That also adds to

me liking James White this week. But I don't really want to do the Rex Burke If things just not enough touch, is not enough snacks where we come back, We'll hit the other side with the Buffalo Bill. We'll say the Saturday Night game for for tomorrow, But I do want to hit on Josh Allen and what you do at the quarterback spot with him and some other pieces like John Brown in this offense. Those are decisions fantasy owners have to make and will answer those in

three questions in three minutes. Coming out next, I want to be the next Daily Fantasy millionaire. Dunk on your NBA DFS competition with Daily Rodal dot com and dominate on fandel and DraftKings this season. Save ten on winning NBA DFS advice with promo code dunk. Visit Daily road

dot Com backslash dunk to learn more. Three questions, three minutes. Let's go, Frankie, Let's go all right. Number Question number one is at the quarterback position. Josh Allen has been a solid option all season long. You start Josh Allen and your fantasy championship in New England, the answer is no, he will be outside of my top twelve quarterbacks. New England has just been so great. They got their confidence

back last week going up against Andy Dalton. Uh, Josh Allen has been great and he adds, you know, an element with his legs and that obviously helps for fantasy. He was okay against the Steelers last week. I would try and go in a different direction. I don't know, you know what your options are gonna be, But like Gardner Minshew in the Dome against the atlant and the Falcons, Uh Fitzpatrick, I would go with I would go with those two over Josh Allen if you have those options.

Question number two in regards to Josh alright, John Brown. He's been a startable wide receiver all season long, a top thirty six fred receiver at minimum all season long. You go up against the fan Gilmore where somewhere saying should be the NFL's defensive m v P this year, did you start John Brown? Yeah? This is this is a tough one man, because he's not a must start by any means. I think he is a low end wide receiver. Three. I would use him over Julian Edelman

because at least we know John Brown is healthy. Greg and John Brown had a tough matchup last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Obviously, Stephon Gilmore is the toughest matchup you can have. But John Brown last week seven nine on ten targets. The last time they played against New England he had five or sixty nine on eleven targets, so he wasn't a complete dud. I think the targets will be there. I don't know how fishing he'll be, but I think that he can put up a solid

sixty to seventy yards. You pray and hope that he gets in the end zone. You might have a better option. I would use Perriman over him. I would use Tyler Boyd over him. I would use Darry Slating over him. He's a low and wide receiver. Three. He's not a complete just you have to bench him, but he's not a must start like he has been. Question number three, and it's two fold. Who would you rather start Cold

Beasley or Darwin Thompson. I would go with saw that Damian Williams is getting back on the practice field here. I would go with Cold Beasley last time this week, I don't like him. I feel lesser about him than I do John Brown. We had a bonus question, have three seconds left. I would go Cold Beasley over Darwin Thompson answer, Ques, how confident are you in Devin Singletary this week? I feel the same way about him this week as I did last week. It was a tough

match up against Pittsburgh. The workload is gonna be there. I think he's gonna get a few catches. He's probably gonna be between eighty and a hundred total yards. You pray and hope that he gets in the end zone. I think he's a low and RB two. I like him, don't love twenty one carries last week in Pittsburgh Ver Secletary, He's Frank lmal Greg. We'll do it all in tomorrow, we hope.
