You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network Fantasy Best Friends Forever, m Do to Do? Did Do Do Do? Do? Didn do Do Do Do Do? Did it too? Yo? This es the Fantasy Best Friends Forever here on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network alongside for Reggae Stample. I am Greg sauceman Reggae. What's going on that, Reggy t G I f the first game is in the books, the Birds. It's over, just like the Eagles, like a crapshoot. Gregg, what an absolute nightmare? Well, I guess not if your
Julio Jones owner not at all that right there? And I was, honestly yeah, I mean with a solid aid out of what three point three don't care because he was peppered with targets. It was a decent It was a solid showing for the Eagles. The defense showed up. They were amazing. JGI very interesting. I thought this game was a microcosm of the what's to come for Doug Peterson in the running backs this season because we saw
Noah j g I in the first quarter. He didn't get his first touch until I think what re four minutes into the second quarter, and then from there on out it was j g I. But still a lot of inconsistent running back usage. Again. Nelson agl Are peppered with targets, not a ton of yards. Zach Ertz I thought was disappointing. He had a lot of targets, he had a few drops. They used him a lot for blocking in the first game. UM, Nick Foles whatever. They got the Philly Special done again, so that was fun.
But Julio Jones awesome, monster game. UM still can't get in the end zone. We still don't know what it catches. So there you go. It's the NFL season. First game in the books. Greggy, you know it's it's interesting because you you didn't listen to dear year BFF. Why is that? Um? Because we sat here and you asked, you know, we're
making picks in the show. Yes, we did. And I told you that this has gone too far with Atlanta, Like everybody's on Atlanta, just like they were three times in the playoffs against the Eagles Atlanta, Minnesota, New England. Nobody wanted Philadelphia. Everybody bad against them. And the same exact thing happened last night, where a line that started at like four and a half went all the way to pick them by the time we were done. And I told you you should take the Eagles, and you're like,
I really like the under. I go, fine, take the under or take either one? Right, that is what you should do. I like the Eagles, you like the under. Take both, at least take one. Frank, what what what did you do? Took the Falcons? Took the Falcon's money line, took the Falcons to win the game last night outright. To be fair, Greg, they had their chances. They had plenty of opportunities in this game. It started, you know,
that first drive. They got stuff on the goal line multiple times, Davante Freeman and credit to the Eagles defense. The Eagles defense did their job after allowing the Falcons to really marched down the field on that first drive. They stood up right there on the goal line. Um. They got punched in the mouth early on, and then they rebounded. They did what they did all throughout the playoffs last year, and then it came down to the end of the game too, like the Falcons had their chances.
Greg ask you, is Matt Ryan one of the most overrated players in the NFL, now, did you? I don't think he's overrated. You don't think he sucks. I mean, his contract didn't say that. His contract is not saying he was. I mean, he was absolutely brutal last night. And we had to watch the game together and it's it's amazing when you're watching a lot of people are
all rooting for so many different things. Um yeah, we had coaches the freaking out because I think he had a JI the first player to score props, So he had that, and he was he wasn't that excited about that. He really wanted the Dallas Goddard one. That was the one where he would have been paid out because the odds obviously were Um so yeah, So that was so
that was wild. And then people like I'm cheering against Hula Jones, like when they called the reception not a reception twice like that was awesome, which was also utterly ridiculous, ridiculous. Um ball did not touch the ground. He was yes, he was fumbling it, but he had possession of the ball. He pinned it against himself by the time he was sly hing out of bounds, like clearly had possession helmet. Yeah, I mean you know all about that. I do given
Tyree correct and we don't. First game in the season, so we don't. And that was catch and I was happy it was over. And then Frank, who hated DeVante Freeman all off season, we get to the goal line, all right, we get to the inside the ten. Let's get the Davante Freeman. First run, nice run, resurrecting the two. Give it to him again and they do right. Third down, let's drop to play for who Svonta Freeman. Great fourth down, Give it to him again. Four chances and it was
like the last carries the ad all night. He heard himself. I told you so, Greg, after the first Thursday Night game. I told you so. The swing way we should have drafted DeVonta Freeman. You know, the swing of emotions, swing of emotions at the first half ago Frank Man, he can go on the air tomorrow and pump your chests a bit when it comes to Jay Giant, like you you nailed this one. That lad to be fair, to be fair, everything that I said about j j I
is true. Yeah, Like his usage was inconsistent. There werecorders where he just wasn't used for the game first half of a disaster, and then there were drives were like they completely leaned on him. And it's very obvious that he is the strongest runner of that crew, Like there's no question about it. He's better than Corey Clement, He's better in Darren Sparrowls, He's better than It's obvious that
they still love Darren Spearwls. Like everything that they said about yes, we love Darren Spearls will him that is all real. You know. I still think that what I said about j J I is that he's going to be inconsistent week to week. I still stand by that he was inconsistent in the game itself. He was not inconsistent. His usage was inconsistent. He was awesome whenever he was on the field carrying the ball. He was clearly the Eagles best runner scored two touchdowns or like one and
a half offensive line by the way, awesome, phenomenal. I mean the holes that he was You could have played kickball through those holes that he was running through. Seriously, could have um before we continue talking it last night's game. We'll take your calls throughout the show. Four four eight, four three six eight seven nine. What do you a shout out? Frank? What do you a shout out to? Larry Bradley Jr. Who whose wife tweeted on us last night and we were together at the bar and she
said some really nice things. And you know, Larry, you're a huge fan of the show. We appreciate your support. We appreciate you watching every day and sticking along and joking along with us. Uh, And it's awesome for us. So we appreciate you so Larry, Uh, thank you so much for watching man UM And we appreciate the support absolutely, very humbling, you know. I honestly, when you read stuff
like that, it's just it's awesome to to see that. So, you know, honestly, we're happy that we can just bring enjoyment to other people. Obviously, we love talking about fantasy football. We love joking around with each other, and it's awesome to see that there are people that are also enjoy what we're doing. You know. Also also important. We were with your buddy last night, Pip, Bip b I p we were. We were with bip um and was a huge supporter of this, a huge fan of the show.
And it was telling me that he appreciates where we talk nonsense and that makes a lot to me because that's what I like to do. He's talking, So Pip, thank you, yere, it's very nice as your friends your friend. Yeah. Sometimes can we call out people right now too? Who we calling out? First call? Laid all on the table, first call? First Friday? Call out? Call her out? Yeah, yeah, didn't show up. That's a that's an f double M right there. That's a flaky Maria Marino, very fla double
M right there, call out its executive, fantasy executive. What do you do? I don't know. When home and fell asleep, it was out with Corey, went to the sports book, were out making our bets. Right the last I saw Corey, I'm gonna meet up later. I'll be there. Did you think he was watching the game at that point? Did you think he was coming. Yeah, why is he pretty confident? Like you know, but I traveled downtown three times in one day. But I thought so he was in at
the sports. Why didn't he just come right to the bar with you. Well he had to go home, Okay, to make stuff happen. Does you had to make executive decisions get enhanced? I didn't say you had. He'll tell you. He'll tell you. You You know, it's not secret. Yeah, I mean he's coming up at one pm. I'm sure I'll tell you about it. Well he missed it? What he didn't show up? No, I mean, he'll tell you all about what I understand. But he didn't show up on
you know, that was frustrating. He was like DeVonta Freeman in the second half. I see, I see what you did there? You pressed by Tevin Coleman. Another thing you got wrong last night? Very frustrated Tevin Colean than wrong? What the Tevin Colman thing? Oh yeah, I got that wrong? Yeah, Well, you know I couldn't predict mid game injury for DeVonta Freeman obviously, No. I mean, you know, I was worried about the concussions heading into the season, But yeah, you
can't predict injury within the game. Now, if this lingers for DeVonta Freeman, obviously, everything that we've said about Tevin Coleman is he's one of the top rated handcuffs. Again you have to use pretty serious draft capital will get him six seventh round pick. But if anything ever happens to DeVonta Freeman, he's instantly a top top fifteen running back. He is he once again, and he proved the last
night too. I think with Tevin Coleman had drafted him nowhere, it's almost, I want to say, forgot about him, but he's never really high on my board, and I almost with so many different people are running backs, it's many young running backs kind of jumping up your draft board. You forget that Tevin Coleman still very very young, and what and how grander his role, grand nose his role is. And I think that's the truth when it comes to Tevin Coleman and Devant Freeman goes out Tavin Coleman and
every down work course and he does everything. He doesn't just catched the ball out the backfield. He doesn't just carry the ball on the backfield. He's a fine blocker. He does everything. He's an already one potentially without DeVante Freeman, who is there's a problem with his knee. I'm not sure if it's the m c L at the PCL or whatnot, he says, says, if you're a DeVante Freeman owned Greg, the guy is already dealing with a knee issue in week one, and this is a guy who
has been injury prone the past couple of seasons. So now not only do you have to worry about concussions with Devonsa Freeman because he's a very violent runner the way that he runs the football, you now have to worry about this knee injury. So if you don't have Tevin Coleman as a DeVonta Freeman owner, which I don't think a lot of people do, because it's a lot to invest in the Alatta Falcons backfield. To use your second and your sixth round pick on the Falcons backfield,
you don't feel good. You do not feel good today about being a Devanced Freeman owner. You feel good being a j Jones owner. You absolutely feel great about being a Julio Jones owner. The one positive from the Falcons offense last night was Julio Jones and his usage peppered with targets both down the field. Um, you know on the outside they're moving around. I mean, he was phenomenal given the fact that Matt Ryan was as bad as he was and Julio Jones still had the game he wasn't.
I mean, you feel great about that. I will say this too, if you're a Tevin Coleman owner in a keeper league or a dynasty league, Greg he is next year's version of Jack McKinnon because he's I believe he's a free agent to be. He's gonna go to another team. He's going to be a workhorse running back for that team. Keevin Coleman is going to be Jack McKinnon from this year. He's gonna end up going like the second or third round next year when he is presumably a workhorse running
back for another team. I think that's gonna happen for sure. We'll see what happens in four eight, four, three, six, eight, seven nine. I want to start with Isaac in Miami on the phone lines right now. It's going on, Isaac going on, Fellas, I got a question about my flex position um in a ten team PPR. It's between Royce Freeman Davis playing out of Tennessee or Alan Robinson are there? You go? So you need a flex spot of Royce Freeman, Corey Davis or Allen Robinson. Two wide receivers and a
running back. Denn Frank, what do you think I will take Royce Freeman of this group. I know it's PPR. You might want to lean with the receiver here, but overall, I still like taking the running back against Seattle. They named Royce Freeman the starting running back for this team. I think the Seattle defense is not nearly as good as it once was. They've taken hits to their um defensive line. They have a rookie starting at linebacker for
them in uh Chackem Chakhem Griffin or Shakil Jakim Chacheim Griffin. UM. So I think that favors Royce Freeman as well. I like him in this matchup. I think he's a high end r B two. I'll take him over those other guys. I still like Corey Davis this week, and interesting't Allen Robinson does too? Yeah against an improved Packers definitely second,
definitely like I like that call great. I think Allen Robinson is one of the more fascinating players to watch this week passing game overall, to see who Mitchell Schimsky leans on. Is it Anthony Miller, is it Trey Burton? Is it Allen Robinson. I'm very interested to see what happens this week. I like Allen Robinson as a low end wide receiver two high and wide receiver three this week, same thing could be said for Corey Davis. I just have Royce Freeman ranked a little bit higher in my
running back ranks. Yeah, I get that, and I think that's fair. I would also go with Royce Freeman this week, but I'm really interested in watching actually all three of
these players. Rayce Freeman's NFL debut, Corey dave Us, who many people believe because this year's breakout wide receiver, his first shot with Tennessee in eighteen, and of course Allen Robinson making his debut with the Chicago Bears, and we'll see what their offense is like under MATTNEGGI yeah, and I will throw this out as well, and I've heard
people talk about it. Corey Davis. A lot of people are expecting to be shadowed by Xavian Howard of the Miami Dolphins, a young cornerback who really flashed towards the end of last season. So if they choose to shadow Corey Davis with him, be interested to see if Marcus Mariot is still Peppers Corey Davis with targets or does he not go towards the direction of the shadowed wide receiver, does he more so lean on Age Laney Walker or
throwing the ball to his running back in Dean Lewis. Again, there's a lot of interesting storylines to watch in Week one. I think that's another one of them, right, So literally you go storylines to watch for sure eight four or four, eight four, three, six, eight seven nine. We Yet you have your questions today. You want to know who are
I starting the flex? What do I do well? I want to take those all show long up until the Fantasy Football frenzy at the top of the hour eight four four, eight four three six, eight seven nine, Let go to bt BT asks all the flex Courtland, Sutton genre Ross or Marshawn Lynch. Yeah, I think this is pretty easily. Marshall Lynch tough match up against the Los Angeles Rams, but Marshall Lynch in prime time, I think
he's gonna try and show up, have a big game here. Uh. And everything John Gruden has said about this offense is that we want to get back to pounding the rock. Yes, whenever they throw the ball. Amari Cooper is going to be the focal point of the passing offense, but he's he is very adamant in wanting to get back to running the football a lot there in Oakland. So I like Marshawn Lynch there. I think John Ross is a sneaky play this week, but again that's more of like
a wait and see. I like him more as like a a g PP FanDuel or you know, just um a daily fantasy played this week more so than like starting him my season. Long. For more of your fan deel picks in our Fandel babies, you canna head our over to the Duel over at vanduel dot com. That is Fantasy Factor dot Com. Yeah, so I've jumped in on that survivor. There's also one going on on
fandel right now. To Greg, if you want to jump in on that might those survivors, why wouldn't you agree? You gotta like search differentiating your picks. You're doing multiple pools, right, you can't just go all in with the Ravens. Agree with that? After week one? I don't know, man, I won't go all on if I'm doing I won't go all go one to go one with like the Saints, one with the Ravens exactly after I already walked in the Ravens on both. Is there anything you want to
opine else about the Falcons and Eagles? Matt Ryan overrated? As I mentioned, Uh, you know, I was on that last year to Greg. There would be games where I would after the foul like after Falcons games last year, I would come in here and I would scratch my head and be like, how did this guy have an MVP season? And I understand offensive scheme is so so so important in the NFL, and what Kyle Shanahan does with his quarterbacks, with his offenses, it's great, and I
think we're seeing that now. And you know, there were times last night where I said artist Sarkiesan, like you're getting a little bit more creative, and I like what was happening. But I just think Matt Ryan under Kyle Shanahan was just a match made in heaven and it is just not clicking with Steve Sarkisan for whatever reason, and again credits to the Eagles defense, but all throughout last year too, there were just times where I would just be like, how was this an MVP quarterback? How
was Matt Ryan and MVP caliber quarterback? Because he does things that are that is just head scratching any time, Like the guy cannot throw under pressure all that multiple times last night. So I'm just I'm very out on Matt Ryan. Even in Super Flex two quarterback leagues, I just had him pretty low on my rankings. I just didn't get Matt Ryan anywhere. And I know it's only one game, but I feel great about it. Right, Good, there you go, um eight or four eight four three,
stage seven nine. We have to really what you really have to feel great about it for real though, Jimmy Garpolo San Francisco, right, if you're giving all this credit to Kyle Shanahan, it's all in San Francisco now, Yeah, for sure. And that's why a lot of people like Jimmy Garoppolo. I had him ranked as my tenth quarterback. I had him ranked ahead of Andrew Luck, ahead of a lot of these guys who you know we heard, oh draft staff or draft River draft draft, these older
quarterbacks who get underappreciated. For Fantasy. I had Jimmy Garoppolo ranked ahead of a lot of those guys for those reasons. We like the Kyle Shanahan offense. You'd want the weapons overall to be better, but there are some pieces in place here. You have Marky's Goodwin who could stretch the field. You have the possession veteran receiver in Pierre Garson, and then you have a young, young, up and coming tight end in George Kittle as well. You would want the
running back to be better. Went out, they signed McKinnon, but obviously the injury happened. So yeah, if you own Jimmy Garoppolo, I think you're excited. From week two on, you probably don't love him. In Week one against Minnesota eight four four eight four three six eight seven nine. Shawn's in Philly having a fantastic Friday morning. Hey, how's it going guy? So I'm in the swelve teams PPRD
with three while receivers and a flex. So I have a question about my flex position this week alright, because I didn't start telling Covin last night. So I didn't start on my love. So my team is right now because Alex Smith's, Marty Cooper, the Marius Thomas, Uh, Marmon Jones, Ty Gurley, Joe Mix and Trey Burton, and I have Shephard right now. And in this flex, I'm I'm stuck between Shepherd going against the Jags or should I really
just trust um Matthews against against Miami? And see if Mario just look Matthew's way a couple you know any other you know you you have no other options. That'sid A Shepherd and Richard Matthews. Then then I took a flyer on. I have Corey Shutting on a bench or DeShawn Jackson. I don't really like either Deshawan Jackson really Okay, So so there you go, suer Shod Penny Uh, Sterling Sheppard, Rochard, Matthews.
What do you think? Yeah, I'm gonna leave Sterling Shepard in the lineup, although he is going up against at Scratch Fever Greggy Uh, the secondary that we dubbed last year the Jaguars Cat Scratch Fever. Um. Look, I think Ramsey's gonna be on Odell Beckham, but they moved Shephard around the field. They use him a lot out of the slot. Uh and if eli Man is under pressure, I could see him targeting the middle of the field
quite often in this game. I don't hate Sterling Shepard this week, even though he's going up against the Jaguars secondary. I would start him over those other options that you mentioned. It's hard man. I don't want before only behind um. I don't think i'd do. I think I would take a Rochard Matthews. In all honesty, she didn't know how much he's gonna play an Yeah, but Sterling Shepard is
Jackson was deadly. Yeah, I just I don't think that there. Look, they're not gonna shadow him with anybody, are they like out of the slot. They used him a lot in the slot. So I think O'Dell will be moved into the slot because you want him away from Jalen Ramsey. That's the problem because jale Ramsey only goes in the slot just rather stabad By Silva seven percent of the time. And that means they're gonna Sherman's not Ben McAdoo. He'll put o'down on the slot. No, they'll move both guys around.
Sing could get his What is your second question, dude, and then my question there's um I was thinking about I shouldly drop them out with Smith because I've just looked on the waivers and Andrew Luck is actually out there against Cincinnati or actually shot go with the hype of Andrew Dalton against Indianapolis in the same game. I will say for week one, I like Andy Dalton the most of these quarterbacks. But for the season long, if someone dropped Andrew Luck, you gotta pick him up. It's true.
I like, for instance, for me, I needed in a lye that I owned Jordan read in um freaking I talk, I had Alex Smith and I Andrew Luck, and I dropped Alex Smith for Bernie Davis to back up Jordan read. I'm going with Andrew Luck. I'm not gonna go to Alex Smith. Um. If and you don't know out there this week, I get it. But Andrew looks also out there. You gotta take the shot of Luck. You know what I do here, Greg, I dropped Alex Smith for Andy Dalton.
I dropped Sean Jackson for Andrew. Look. I start Andy Dalton week one old Andrew look for the season long than I appreciate it. Man eight four eight four, three, six seven nine. I'm gonna Christian out in LA. What's up? Christians? Do? A good man? What's up? Um? And so I have two questions, um. One of these that I'm in it's a time player PPR. I have right, Uh, it's a two receiver format. So I have digs and hilt and
in my flects to have hope. However, I was thinking of sitting down Hilton, putting Hogan in, and using James Conrad my flex. What do you think about that? A lot of choices? Very good question, and I actually don't have a problem doing that at all, Greg, I do UM, I do? I know we all look at James Conner as we look at the Angel William like this guy can get thirty carries and be dominant. I don't want
to bend any of those wide receivers though. For James Connor, I think, ultimately like why Hilton's a clue wide receiver one? It would you rank James Conner this week? Because I think he's a borderline RB one. I haven't met my twelfth ran in front of I don't and I don't. I don't do those things so well, you know, hypothetically speaking Greg, Like, in your mind of infinite fantasy wisdom, where would you, I don't know, ranks high an RB two. Probably I would say he's an RB two. I think
i'd say he's a rock solid RB two. Here's what else say t Why Hilton in this matchup is that the offensive line for the Colts has not looked great in the preseason. Stenzo is kind of banged up right now. I don't know how much time Andrew Luck is going to have to throw the ball in this matchup. And not only that, we haven't seen Andrew Luck look all that great in the preseason as well. So if there was one thing I was going to do here, it would be put Chris Hogan in that wide receiver too,
and then put James Conner in your flex. And I know it's tough because you probably use a second or third round pick on t Y Hilton, but I would bend in a week one I probably wouldn't do it in Sandi. Secondary just doesn't scare me enough. It's not a bad secondary. I I'm not saying it isn't or is. I'm just it's not like a scary second. No, it's
not by any means. But I just I worry about how much time is Luck and to have to throw the ball, And typically for t Y Hilton, you want him to be able to get opened down the field. Does Andrew Luck have that much time to throw down the field? That's first of all, and then second of all, does he trust himself to throw the ball, you know, twenty plus yards because we didn't see him do that all that much in the preseason or in training camp.
It'sacy fantacy produce. Currently consensus has James Conner two for this week. This week, I haven't met, like right around RB twelve or thirteen, speak of James Connor. Do you think there's a shot Leavy on Bell comes back this weekend? Pulls the Aaron Donald where it shows up Saturday, And I said this to you, pull shows up Saturday before four o'clock, gets on the roster, gets his first game check,
doesn't have to pay. And that whole thing about the agent being smart is just, hey, you know what, I'm gonna take it all of our money, but I'm gonna just take one game off. Do you think that it could have been a whole lot of nothing and he is one game? Yeah, there's certainly a possibility. I would still say that chance is like under fifty. So I think there's a chance. But if I was a betting man on that, I would not bet that it happens. Um.
But yeah, there's certainly a chance no matter what. He's not playing this week eight four four, eight four three six seven nine. Let's go to Kenny in New York. What's up Kenny? When in a twelve team PPR the flex this week or my bed wolf with Peyton Barbera or James White. So your question was Barber, White or Baldwin? Is that correct? Yes? The full PPR. Yes, I'm gonna go with Baldwin. I'm gonna go with Doug Baldwin there. Yeah, he's practicing and full I expect the full confidence with snaps.
I know you could have to face Chris Harrison whatnot, um, but I'm still going to go with Doug Baldwin. Payton Barber's obviously moving the needle to PPR. I can't start trust James White over those two options. I'm gonna go with Doug Baldwin. We'll say I like James Wit. One of the quick questions, Yeah, I would in my other league, who would you start at quarterback would be Cam Newton or Philip Rivers. I'm starting Cam Newton. Frank's don't want
to say Philip Rivers, but I'm starting Cam Newton. Yeah. I love the matchup. A lot for Philip Rivers this week, having been a lot of dfs, but I'm still gonna use Cam Newton. I'm with you, Greg, I have Cam Newton ranks tire this week. All right, there you go, four four four, You got a man a four four four three six s seven nine. Alex and Arizona is up next. What's up? Alex? Hey? What's up? Gavin? Alright, so I got a question on whose start right now.
It's between Chris Hogan, Doug Baldwin, and Juju Smith, and I'm kind of leaning towards obviously Hogan can start. Everybody's on Cogan right now? What do you guys think? All right? Two out of those three Hogan, Baldwin and Juju Smith Schuster. Fun fact, Frank Judy named her fantasy team ju Jude saw Scooter. I like that a very creative. I will also, I thought of it. I will I'll take Chris Hogan and this matchup. The Texans allowed the third most fantasy
points to wide receivers last year. Yes, they added Tyron Matthew, but I'm still not worried about the cornerbacks overall in this matchup. And I think Chris Hogan sees a lot of targets in these first four weeks without Julian Edelman. I think he's almost a must start every week that Julian Edelman is not team I agree, uh, certainly with the Hogan part. Then Baldwin and Juju is close for me. Without Levan mel You're gonna see a lot a lot more Ben. I think we gave you Antonio Brown's numbers
when Levy on Mellows and play. I think Juju is a monstrous game, And given the match up with Doug Baldwin in Denver, I'm gonna go with Juju. So for me, it's Juju and it's I'm with you, though I would take yeah. So there you go, Chris Hogan and Judgemus Houston will appreciate it, right. Do you any land of questions? Frankly, I I have a lot of questions. I wanted to ask you that the one that I was struggling with
last night was in a non PPR league. It was Nelson Aglar versus Peyton Barber as my second flex and I left Peyton Barber. How do you feel about the decision? Now? I feel pretty good because in a standard I don't know how many yards Aglar ended up with, but in a standard league he was not great. I think Peyton barbera could easily outperform what he did. Okay, My question is from Greg in New York, New York. Uh, he has, he has, He has two questions. If you have time, Yeah,
let's get Greg online. Greg. How you doing? Hey doing great man? Thanks for thanks for answering my called big fan of the ship. All Yeah, what's your question? My question is this? In the flex position, do I start Rex Burkhead or Keeling cole Hard? Yeah? I would take bad Yeah, so I had Cole in for a while. I switched to Burkehead earlier this morning. Normally, when I'm debating between two closely ranked running back first wide receiver, I'll lean with the running back just because I think
that they're safer, bet can get more work. What if I changed the wide receiver ja Jason crowder M. What is is that a half PPR? Well? PPR? I'll take crowder ye I'll take Crowder. What about it's not going to get shadowed by Patrick Peterson. I don't think I could start him. Would you start Crowder over Marvin Jones or burke It over Marvin Jones? No, No, I wouldn't do that. I think week one you're trying not to
overthink it. You play your best players week one, and you're kind of like, let everything play out and see how it works in week one, like you play your best players, don't try and get too cute. I do like Birkehead, but I'm a little worried about the Patriots running back usage this week because obviously he has the knee thingy that we don't really know much about, and we don't know what his usage is gonna be. But I wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot of
James White in this first game. It wouldn't be surprised if we see Jeremy Hill either. I don't think Sony Show actually suits up Um. But yeah, it's classic Patriots running backs, right, like trying to figure out who to start.
I don't think we know what the usage is going to be, especially with the way Rex Burke had was treated in the preseason, so when he's UM, I would use him over Keiling Cole because I don't really love the Jaguars passing game by any means, and there's a chance genera Jenkins is on Keil and Cole and then Um for the other wide receivers, they're just I rank those guys higher than I do Keiling Cole, and I
feel stronger about them in PPR. So I'll take Jameis and Crowder and Marvin Jones both over Rex burk Head this week. Follow up, which tight end do I start? I owned to Trey Burton or Delaney Walker. This is a great, great, great matchup for Delaney Walker to this uh in Week one against the Dolphins. They were not good against the tight end last year. I think they're going to have one of the worst defenses all season. I actually think that the Dolphins are gonna be one
of the worst teams. That's why I bet them the under this year. The under six and a half wins UM. Also, again, the Bears passing attack, I want to see how it plays out Week one. I'll take the Laney Walker over or tree burn Into. Actually like Trey Burton a lot this week, I really, I really like tre Burton a lot this against the Packers. Cool Um, they were like middle of the pack against tight ends last year. Again, I think that the Packers secondary is going to be
much improved this year. But I could see Burton having a solid Week one again. The Bears are probably gonna be chasing points in this game, and I could see Trabisky kind of like leaning on the tight end. Um. Plus, for all the reasons why we drafted Trey Burton, I think Matt Naggie gets the tight end involved a lot, but I just overall I like the matchup more so for Delanney. Walk Novins the absolute worst team against tight end in seventeen, averaging allowing sixteen point one points. They
were even worse than the Giants were last year. Yeah, so to put that in perspective, Giants allowed twelve touchdowns last year, the Dolphins were just two touchdowns behind them. They allowed ten touchdowns too tight ends, but the Giants defense allowed eight hundred and eighty nine yards to tight ends. The Dolphins allowed nine hundred and ninety nine, which was the most in the NFL last season. Yeah. Um, when you look at the receptions, they also allowed the most
receptions tight ends ninety four two tight ends. The Browns were second in that, allowing ninety receptions tight ends yep, which would have made Vance McDonald like a sleeper tight end play this week. But he's like all banged up and man so to which I think also lends itself to helping the wide receivers. Again, Antonio Brown can have a monster monster week this week at least that we're hoping for a G S T team, which now and then,
I'm with you. I think Juju also has their opponent of anybody in that j S. Last night, we're playing against Billy Hayes. I don't know Bill Hayes pump did he face DeVante? Who do you want us to do? You want to start? Let us know at eight four or four eight four or three six seven nine. We're answering your questions the rest of the way. I know those phone lines are lit up, so when they dropped, you get on no busy singles. We want your calls eight four or four eight four three six seven nine.

Like someone like me who doesn't really yam well, you know, that there's a lot I want to know about it. And when this optimizers telling me, you listen, this is five stars. It literally says should I bet this? Yes or no? It makes it than that, It makes it perfect for an idiot like me. Should
I bet this? Yes or no? Last night, when it came to the under it said yes, yes, yes? And what did you do? I'll take the falcons? No? No? And you are now poorer than you were yesterday? Can can we see the other bets that I put in? How they feel about them? This the it up? Right now? So I have leveland plus four give means? I guess gonna load it? Uhm? I not signed in. I don't think I'm signed in hold On. I'm signed in. I am signed in hold On? All right? Gave a second Camia, Okay,
all right? What am I looking for? Leveland plus four at home with the hungover Ben Roethlisberger without Levon Bell in the lineup? Okay, they like it? Here we go. Oh this is a different one. This is this is really cool. I'm sorry you get you get used in awe it is you can get you basically can get lost in this. Okay, here we are ready. Brown's plus four are, optimizer says, and I'm telling you that the bet in that game is Pittsburgh minus four. It's only
a three star confidence bat, only three stars. But the five star bet on this game, the under the under, which is that? What's the total? All right? Interesting? Yeah, I mean the Browns defense much improved. That's why I think they'll be in this game. I'm you know, Cleveland. Ben Roethlisberger typically struggles in one PM road games for reasons. I'm just telling I'm listening to the machine. This is this is my version of sports rage against the machine,
rotal Frank against the machine. What's your What's I have? Cleveland post four? And understand what's your other one? The Rams minus four on Monday Night? All right, the Rams minus four Monday Night football. Let me go down to that. The Rams on Monday Night football. The over under right now is five star, baby, give me five star five five right down? The over unders? He said, I don't bet that, but there is four stars on the pick on Monday Night, which says you should take Oakland plus
the points. All right? Next week from well, let's see that' see how you do. Like, maybe maybe you'll beat the optimizer yeah, we'll see. I don't expect you. Probably not. I don't expect you last night. So you have Cleveland plus four and Oak and you have l A the Rams minus four is all right? Yes, sir? M hmm, it is awesome. I love this thing. I love this thing. Eight four four eight four three six eight seven nine eight four four eight four three six eight seven nine.
Let me come back to the phone last right, cool with you? Yes, sir? All right? Let me go to Timmy California. What's up to Timmy? Hey? Um? Tim? Hey, how's it going? Guys? Hey? I got Jared Goff and I got Tom Brady. I feel like Jared Goffston have a good game. What do you guys think? I called Jared Goff over Tom Brady last year? Greg, we do it again? Will not be doing that? And we doing it again. I have Jared Goff as a borderline QB
one this week. I think he's a low end starter, a high n QB two, especially if you have him in super flex or a two QB weak. Not starting him over Tom Brady? Okay, so there you go, not starting with Brady. I'm not starting over Brady either. I do like I do like Jared Goff this week. I don't like him, like as a top five quarterbacks, I wouldn't start him over Cam or DeShawn Watson or um really wanted missing Uh Philip Rivers? Uh? I would would you not Bree Rivers? Oh? Come on, Greg, I would
want to the chief secondary. The defense is not nearly what it was and Eric Berry is banged. Might not even playing this game. Think I would start Jared Goff J I like Jared Goff in that, like Andy Dalton Range the low one QB one. Let's go to Aaron and Lansing, Michigan. Let's up Aaron. Hey, guys, what's up? Just wanted to say. I think it's awesome that Floorio is the one speaking to us when we call in the first question is do I play James Conner or Lamar Miller my twelve team PPR in my flex spot
voter telling people he's Florida. No, no, no, Actually the answering machine when you call when it's till Michael Florida. Oh that's awesome. Oh, I didn't have no idea what your daughter I thought. I thought I thought bo Bono was just was just being aduced to be honest, with UM. I wasn't listening to the question because it was James Connor versus Lamar Miller Miller, Lamar Miller James. I've continuously said I have James Conner as a borderline r B one. I I like Lamar Miller as a solid RB two
this week. I don't think he has as much upside as other people are pumping him up to have this week. UM, I will take Connor over Lamar Miller, but I think it's close. You know. I'm so happy Aaron that you asked me this question because it gives me an opportunity on my own show rather than Corey Show, to say this, what do you got? Greg? Lamar Miller sucks? Go to James Connor this week against Cleveland. Like it? James Connor, here you go. Uh. Let's continue on the phones four, four, three, six,
seven nine and listen to Evan in Philly. What's up? EV's well? Great, dude, what's going on? As much? I need a wide receiver and a flex out of these five guys, okay, five guys right, Tyree Kill, Tyreek Kill, Doug Baldwin, Josh Gordon, James Conner, Kenyan Drake, how many how many teams in this league. Team PPR gonna say, please, don't say less than ten ten, TVBR twelve Sorry ten team PPR, Tyreek Hill, Sorry, Doug Baldwin, Josh Gordon, Connor, and Dre So I'm gonna rule out. I rule out
Josh Gordon immediately. I rule out Josh so he was one of the two. I rule out immediately. I think he's more of a boom bust wide receiver three or flex. I agree. I also, okay, I'm gonna start Tyreek Hill. I know you, I don't know you agree with that. I'm gonna start Tyreek Hill. I think he's just the best out of all of these guys. So so he goes into my LINEU even if you say, look at what Casey Hayward did last year, Tyreek Hill scored in both of his games against the Charges. Oh, it's a
great stat it's a great stat. Um. So we're gonna Tyreek Hill. So then for us, it's Baldwin, Connor or Drake Um. It's pretty easy for me, Greg, James Connor, James. I think I would go with James Conner also in this is this scenario. So in December, on the sixteenth, last year five for eight eight and a touchdown for Tyreek Kill against the Chargers and in September five seventy seven a touchdown scored both games against the Chargers last year.
So we're going, We're both going with James Conner and tyrecul A. Right, good, I got aroun on the same page for that. Um, let me go to Johnny D and late Colm. What's up Johnny? Do we have Johnny D? Hey, buddy, what's up? Mom? I'm here? What's up? Man? Can you hear me? What is your all? Right? Good? I got a three running back question in a two running back league standard. I have Mixing McCoy and Marshawn Lynch. What two do I start? I don't have a flex. You
gotta start two out of those three. It's pretty easy for me. I'm gonna go with Mixing McCoy. Um koy. I always had a lot of reservations about him taking him in a draft, but he's active, he's not on the restricted list, and he will not be on that list going into this week. If he's active and he's playing, you treat McCoy as you always would. He's a high end RB two, if not a low end RB one. I go with Lashaw McCoy. Joe Mixon's match up against
the Colts is very, very strong. I'm not sure what Marshall Lynch, is a little bit banged up, does against the Rams on Monday Night. I know you like him in primetime, Frankie Um, but I'm gonna do with Joe Mixing and I'm gonna go with Lashaw McCoy. Yeah, I think Marshall Lynch is. I think Marshall Lynch is more of a low end RB two this week, whereas the other guys I think are just solid higher up r
B two is where I feel better about them. Don't love the Ravens matchup for McCoy um, but again, and he's really the only source of offense, so I think he'll still see you know, fifteen and twenty touches in that game, just based on that UM. And then Joe Mixon, I don't like him as much as everybody else does this week, but I still like him more than Marshall Lynch because of the match up. Yeah, I think that's fair. Marshall Lynch is gonna have to face you know, Aaron
Donald and Dominican su right up the middle. Um so not match. Let's continue on the phone line, because the show is about you. We are the people's choice. Eight four four eight four three six seven nine. It's up the GEO in Florida. GEO. Hey, how's it going guys? Great dude, what's up? Alright? So real quick? Um So, this is an Oxtion League twelve twelve man half point PPR, and uh I acquired Levan Bell obviously is my first pick. And uh I went wide receiver heavy after that with
Kennan All and A. J. Green and Josh Gordon. Right now at the moment um, I do see Jalen Samuel's out there is even relevant. So I'm glad you brought that up. GEO. We were talking about Jalen Samuel's after the show yesterday. And for those who don't know, so, Jalen Samuel's is James Connor's back up. He was the fifth round pick for the Steelers. Is he relevant this week? Probably not, no, assuming Connor is healthy. The Steelers like having one dominant ball carrier. They don't like switching up.
They don't do a committee. They stick to one guy. That's why leaving on Bellsman is so successful and That's why his backup is the past have been so successful. So the one reason why this is such a question this week is eligibility. Frank Jillen Samuels is a running back, but he has tight end eligibility in Yahoo les. I know we always laugh and joke and yell about Yahoo and how crazy they are. You don't like them. I've played my whole life on Yahoo. I do. UM, it's
really interesting. Are you going to if you have an empty roster spot? Justin yes, James Connor gets hurt on Sunday, picked this dude up before Sunday. Maybe laby On bellesn't show up, and you have a story running back you could potentially play as a tight end. Is this something that you're going to do before Sunday if you have the spot. I think it's a very very savvy move, one that you know you're looking ahead more more so
before other people are doing. So. Look, if anything happens to James Conner, obviously in this matchup, he's the next guy up, and then he does have that tight end eligibility as you mentioned on Yahoo. The only way I had him is if I have an empty roster spot, or really just a dead a dead space on my bench, like someone who I'm absolutely never going to use, who doesn't have upside, like a boring veteran like DeShawn Jackson
or something like that. Like if you have leving On Bell or James Conner, then I would drop a player like de John Jackson to pick up Jolen Samuel. I think it is a very savvy move to do. Before we would drop Dante Moncree for him, I don't think so, because I think there is some upside with Don Moncres Rachard Matthews for him, no theoretic for him A four four eight four three six st seven nine. Before we get back to the phone lines, I want to remind
you that the Fantasy Football Frenzy comes your way. Next. We are gonna be done with the video for this week. Friends will be live on YouTube. Let's go to Perry in California. What's up Perry? Harry was shocked. He's just going, Hey Perry, Hey, guys, Billy Dilley, Billy Dilley. That's a dame thing, not a great thing. Continue oh Man can for a standard league quarterback question, I get a bonus for um forty yard and fifty yard plus touchdown? Ye Should I start Deshaun Watson or Jared Goff? Watson R Goff. I'm gonna Watson Man Watson. It's it's easy, especially with guys like Will Fuller and
DeAndre Hopkins, guys who are capable. Even even if without the bonus, I have just Shawn Watson ranked higher my quarterback rankings this week. I really like the Patriots secondary is not good. I like Watson h and also a lot in Fandel uh and just overall daily this week as well. And also when it comes to Patriots, you gotta remember they always start off slowly. They always start off slowly on the defensive. Forty two points in Week one last year against them, So maybe they will work
into into form and are sure they will. I really like the Texans plus this plus six and a half this week. I love the text like that a lot as well. I had no worries Ferry, thanks for listening, man, I am pulling it up right now. Let me see here deli worter dot com slash betting. I'm looking at the summary. Here we go. Let me see that who it likes well of how you shot down is DEALI dealy to Greg. I don't like there's like fun like I p a s I wear a monocle at home.

We have a minute left, Frank, any last words of advice, any last information you have to get aft to the people before we sign off. We're good. I think it was something that we spoke about during the break. I asked you this question on a scale of one two, worst possible matchup you can ever have
in Week one of an NFL season? How bad is the Mary Cooper's matchup this week? Because no matter where he's lined up, he's going to get a key to lead. He's gonna get Marcus Peters. And we've seen that a Marie Cooper has struggled against strong cornerback competition in the It's bad, man, it's not good. It's not good. I'd rather than I'd rather him face to them than Jalen Ramsey, like Jale Ramsey will be ten. Richard Sherman and his
prime would be ten. I don't think it's ten. I think it is really because no matter on he's going to see one of those guys, no way for him to escape it. Do you think it Key pulls off his chain this year? Yeah, there's no more. There's no no Michael Crabtree left chain. The Rams and Ravens play this year. We're looking up. Let you do that. They don't. Actually I can tell you they don't because they played the AC played the because there playing the Rangers. There,
we're done. It's over. We're all here. Oh my god, it's football. There's some more shows, some football. Zero hours Sunday line Up Block Live all your questions answering.
