You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Fantasy best Friends Forever. M to to to Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Don to Yo, says the Fantasy best Friends Forever here on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Although inside Frankie Stamfell, I am Greg Susman. Friday. What's going on? But it Greg t G I f thank god it's Friday. And oh boy, what a game did we have last night? Greg? I would say early contender for Game of the Year. Again, it's only week four.

It's a fun game. It is the winner for fun game of the Year. I would say it was the best game of the year. It was fun, it was awesome, but it was not like the Fantasy Game of the year Fantasy Game of the Year. Yeah, I mean that that. I don't know. Steeler Steelers Chiefs was also really good. That was a great one. That was a great one

the Saints and the last week was another. The thing is with this one, if you had any player in this game outside of Dalvin Cook feeling pretty good, like literally anybody and Sam Ficking probably, but like literally anybody, anybody. Oh god, that was fun. That was down out to Bavona too. I like that promo before we came in pumping me up for saying I like Jared Goff more than Kirk Cousins. I mean, mind you you don't. You don't need to dive a little bit deeper. You can

if you want. Had Jared Goff is my living frand quarterback Kirk Cousin is my twelve. It seems like both of those guys are gonna be locked for top five quarterbacks this week. Nobody saw that coming. But we did get Jared Goff over Kirk Cousins right yesterday. You absolutely, I guess we both did love right yesterday. A betting perspective, we did pretty well. Adam Feeling got the over, You got the over overall in the points in the first half,

it's right, um. And then I think with the Rams and the Chiefs right now, you just can't bet the under on these teams. You just can't. There's no way to do it. Until we see a game where either the Rams or Chiefs score less than like thirty five points. I just don't see how you can bet the under on either one of these teams. Unbelievable. How much fun that game was, Like I said, it didn't matter who you had. It weren't got great. Well, it was fun

to watch. It might have been fun if you were going up against Jared Goff, because I saw some screenshots online already. People down a hundred points sucks for a Thursday night game. Imagine that you faced Jared Goff, Cooper Cup, and Adam Thelan. It's not over till it's over. But it's over. It's over. I'm sorry I had for once. It looks like until Chris Hogan goes off UM and made the right decision in one of my leagues, starting both Cup and Robert Woods last night, that was awesome.

Told um up fifty one nothing right now, I think it's nice, not no problem there, UM. So then it is line up day. So I'll have a decision to make between Calvin Realley, Kennyan Drake, and Chris Hogan. Pick one. I'll start off. Chris Hogan is out of contention. He's out of this here for me. So it's between Kenyan Drake and Calvin Ridley. UM, and you already have a what fifty one point lead? You go to Drake for the the safety and Drake is safer just because it touches right,

like running back touches are always safer than wide receiver targets. Like, yeah, obviously, Calvin Ridley's trending in the right direction. Sixty yards and a touchdown a week too. Obviously at the Monster game last week, a lot of people are going to be reactionary and say, oh, you have to get Calvin Ridley in your line up. Absolutely, Let's not forget the Bengal

secondary is pretty good. They have Drake Kirkpatrick, who, according to Pro Football Focus, is going to be lined up on the same side with Calvin Ridley a lot in this game. I'm not saying that's going to completely limit him. But obviously we're projecting forward. We're not just looking back on what's happened with Calvin Ridley um and to that same token, Kenyan Drake was absolutely brutal last week. I

think he's in a good spot to bounce back. I'm not sure he has immense upside, but I think Kenyan Drake is still pretty safe. Let men start calor really in landing, George. Look, it's certainly more fun. I'll give you that right now, having fun. I have Calvin Ridley in my wide receiver rankings. I'll pull it up. I have him, I believe, like thirty two or thirty three, so he's like a solid wide receiver three. And where's Kenyan Drake? And that a lot of and that a

lot of ranks. And you Drake just because the running back position, I mean you hear it every single year, but I I feel like, especially more so this week. Right when I was looking at the running back landscape, it's bad. It's very bad, Greg, Like when you have both Broncos running back still ranked inside your top thirty and you don't know who's going to get the ball. Like,

the running back position is bad. And I have Kenyan Drake ranked as my RB eight team on the week, so he's just ahead of Chris Carson, Sony Michelle James White, carry on Johnson and if you if you disagree with any of those, I am okay to open it up like if I can, I can understand wanting to use Carson or the Patriots guys over Kenyan Drake. These are

just my standard rankings. UM, just because Carson had incredible volume last week, the Patriots offense, Sony Michelle looks like he, you know, could be the guy that's getting the scoring opportunities, and then weekend in week out, James White has you know, really been the Patriots running back to own and the ones to trust. I will clearly say that in half point PPR and PPR I would use James White over Kenyan Drake because these are my standard ranks. So I

have Kenyan Drake ranked RB eight teen. There you go, we'll see. I'm just not feeling low right now, Kenyan Drake. And I understand you got burned last week. Come on, you can't have recency biased, you can't. You gotta you gotta forget, you gotta forgive and forget. You're going with Calvin wrong with that UM question, Prety, I mentioned Chris Hogan. Uh, there's a question about Chris Hogan versus Mike Williams. Yeah, I have. I have Mike Williams ranked hire right now,

and I'm very high on Mike Williams. He's actually one of the players that I'm higher than the consensus on this week, Greg, especially now with this, uh, this injury that's popped up with keenanallenge I don't really know much about, but he hasn't practiced the last couple of days with a knee injury. But for Mike Williams, UM, he's the wide receiver fifteen overall right now in standard leagues, UM.

And he's going up against the forty Niners defense that has been torched by running backs, torched by wide receivers recently, and they're going to be rich without Richard Sherman in this contest. So I could trust Mike Williams as a solid wide receiver three regardless of format, A kind of similar to what I said about Andrew Luck. With Chris Hogan, he hasn't given us much to inspire confidence, So I'll use Mike Williams, a guy who's been getting done more

more so than Chris Hogan. Totally agree with that. UM. Going back to Thursday Night Football here before we kind of move on and focus on the weekend. Um, it's cool that the Rams are involving all three of their guys, Like all three of those guys are startable every week there. I had all three and top they're all wide receivers once this week and they all came through all between. I believe it was like sixteen and twenty four. Yes,

uh nineteen. Cooks actually had Woods at between nineteen and six. Fair enough, um, But what was wild was like they could all It's cool because they could all run any route. Like I know Cups the slot guy, but he's running deep routes as well as we saw coming from the slot. Sure, but he's running deep routes as well. Brandon Cooks doing what he always does, and Robert was doing his thing when it was also really amazing, Um about this Rams offense last night. Every time there's a big play, but

they didn't get in the end zone. They gave it right back to that guy to have another shot have with Robert Woods when he got pounding down the left sideline. Next play seem past touchdown, Robert is the bomb, the Brandon Books next play wide receiver screen the Randon Cooks. I just thought that was so so cool. Yeah, it absolutely is, and we're learning now that regardless of volume

in this offense, they're just so efficient. Even going up against the Minnesota Vikings defense, which many people expected to be a top five defense coming into the year, Robert Woods only had five targets in the schame. He caught all five for one yards and a touchdown. Cooper Cup eleven targets, caught nine of them, Randon Cooks eight targets, called seven of them. That's incredible efficiency right now, Greg.

So they're efficient, they're making big plays down the field, and as you mentioned, they can line up all three of these receivers anywhere that they want to. And I think the most impressive part about Sean mcveigh's play calling, and I was texting about texting you about this last night, is the fact that he knows how to exploit matchup problems against defense is better than any coach that I've seen in a while. Like he got Cooper Cup lined up on a linebacker. What happened a Cooper Cup bomba

the Robert Woods. They got Robert Woods lined up with a linebacker down the field, throw a bomb down the field for a touchdown. He just knows how to create these mismatches, and now Brandon Cooks is filling in that role that Sean McVeigh wanted Sammy Watkins to be last year, and he's doing so effortless, effortless lee. So both guys, all three guys can, as you mentioned, catch the ball at the line of scrimmage, screen passes. They could do

whatever you're asked of. And I think we're seeing now that Brandon Cooks is not just a deep threat wide receiver, like he's an all around wide receiver, and we're seeing that more so with the Rams offense. I know a lot of like the general sports football talk today is going to be like, is Jared Coffins a system quarterbacks? It's all because of Sean McVeigh. Why can't we just appreciate what he's doing right? Yeah, even for fantasy purpose. Well, so I think the sports talk is fair, But I

think we had this conversation last night. It was like, at what point do we just said Jared coff is good and the one making the throws. Obviously a lot of it is Sean McVeigh and like his ridiculous, but you still need to make the throws totally totally, and from a fantasy perspective, I'm not again, I'm not sure where we care. I talked about garbage time yesterday when it came to Kyle Rudolph, but I don't care if it's Seann favorite Jared Goff. Oh, I know Jared Goff

is getting the points. He's the quarterback for the best offense in the NFL not named Patrick Mahomes. Why would you not start Jared Goff right now, right like he was available waivers here on Carton and Friends that the King started Eli Manning. Yeah, I mean, why wouldn't he know he's the King? Well, he should have looked at my lineup ranks. Craig bellbo right now on his website, The Road Actors dot Com. He's the King to be

paying attention. But the point is, how do you not start the quarterback of the best offense in the NFL. I'ntil either just running the ball. Yeah, Todd Gurley has been very effective, no doubt, but they're also just going down the field and it's not thinking you dugging deep crossing patterns. I mean, these offense is amazing. Yeah, and again it was against the Vikings, so look, it was to see fun. Um, if you're in a hole again, call in and let us know. We'll trying to answer

your line of questions. It's not completely over like obviously, like there's a lot of football to play out this week. But um, yeah, it was a great start and probably the best Thursday night football game ever. I think we could say that it was right off there. It was really it was the most passing yards by a quarterback and a Thursday night football hisit. Hey had combined thousand

yards last night. That's awesome. Um, first Ramps quarterback just throw for that many yards since Mark Boulger in two thousand and five. Great stead, Craig, thank you very much. On the other side, he goes to the Vikings. Kirk Cousins looked actually very very good for a lot of this game, and then I kind of went away. The offensive line started failing him and Aaron Donald was getting

in the backfield. But early on Kirk looked pretty good. Um, Adam Field was everywhere once again, clearly the number one option for him throughout the night. That's not to say Stefand's had a bad game. He didn't. Eleven foree, I believe was his final line. So he was fantastic um. Aldrick Robinson called two touchdown out of nowhere, but he was barely on the field. One of those touchdowns were clearly intended for Kyle Rudolph and Algae Robins a rather

wrong route. Um, But it was better to be lucky than good. Indeed, the Vikings often certainly fantasy sustainable last night. Yeah, I thought it was a good game plan early for Kirk Cousins. He made a ton of beautiful touch passes right over the defender's fingertips. And you know what, I understand that like the m O for Marcus Peters is

to be like a ball hawking cornerback. But there were a few plays where he just clearly undercut the wide receiver and was standing in front of them trying to pick the ball off, and Kirk Cousins just touch passed right over them. We saw that multiple times to get down the field, and then it was very clear on one of the touchdowns to Aljack Robinson. I believe it was the first one. So it was a great game plan for the Vikings and anchor Cousins get the ball

out of his hands early on. I thought the offensive line looked better. Um, I agree with you that they kind of fell apart as the game went on, but probably stopping Donagan, Sue and Aaron Donald like you're only going to have success for so long. Um, So I think we expected that at some point those guys to get THEIRS. I would say certainly did. But even from the Vikings perspective, the one letdown was Dalvin Cook. I mean,

Adam Feeland was phenomenal in this game. I know he joined a group of like five or six receivers uh to start the first four games of the season with one hundred plus yards receiving in every single game. I think the last person to do it was Randy Moss. So he's obviously doing ridiculous things right now. Shout out to Venture who was all over Adam Feeland in the preseason. But this was the bounce back performance that we needed

from Stefon Diggs to inspire confidence in him again. He actually out targeted Adam Feeland, he out receptioned I don't think that's a word, but it was made it a thing Adam feeling. And he still had a hundred and twenty three yards you want to touch down there. But it was a great bounce back game for Stefon Diggs. Yeah, it was. It was hugely wed. We kind of talked about yesterday that we expected that to happen, and it did,

and we thought Marcus Peters wasn't going to play. In fact that both of those guys still did that with Mark Peters in the lineup, that inspires confidence moving forward at five seven in the first half was did not have a single reception the second half of any because he had those eight points and a half point br Um in the first half, You're like, all right, now you get a few more points in the second half. Is a really nice game. Ultimately didn't happen. I still

have confidence, obviously in Kyle Rudolph Um. You know what you're getting in the in the Viking's office and then and it's not all that dissimilar in Denver, where it's like Sanders and Thomas and everybody else. It's digs and feeling and everybody else. Not Kyle rude Up is a strong everybody else. But I like that this is one of these offenses we can week out you know what you're getting. Yeah, and we said that about kyro Rouff yesterday to save floor five receptions for fifty seven in

a PPRU standard, you probably want a little bit more. Again, in standard leagues, if you don't score a touchdown, you're likely not going to be a tight end one for that week. But still to get fifty points out of your tight end without a touchdown, it's still pretty solid in standards. So yeah, I agree with you, Dalbin Cook. Let's get to him. He was the one let down from last night. Ultimately, he was all over the field

in the first half. But he actually looked pretty good, Like I thought, he looked really good running the football and then just crazy because he only average two yards

of character. Then he looked good. He did. He looked a little bit more spry, Like there were there were places where he was tackled behind the line of scrimmage, and that's not his fault, that's just that's the offensive line, you know, obviously pies some sort like there were a few runs were like he had like a few like six, seven, eight, nine, ten yard runs, but those were kind of like mitigated by the fact that there were a few times where

he was tackled behind the line of scrimmage. He looks spry. We didn't see him in the second half, like, so That's what I was gonna getting too. As this became an aerial attack on both teams. It was weird. That was like, wait, where's Dalvin Cook? They cycled through four running backs and Dalvin Cooke was not part of that cycle in in the second half. He definitely got concerned that he reaggravated an injury. Before the game, they had told you Dalvin Cook because be got a pitch count. Normally,

when we hear that from coaches, it's all BS. Evidently it wasn't BS last night. Was on the sideline. He looked fine um, but did not play in the second half because he was on with his pitch count. Is not a bad job by Mike. Mike's ever using that pitch count up in the first half and not being able to even have available in the second half. I think it was just game plan in the second half.

I don't know that they wanted to run the ball all that much because if you look at Lesavias Murray, he didn't get many rushing attempts either, had two rushes for two yards. I mean, overall, their running backs combined for thirteen carries in this game. They seemingly didn't run

the ball at all in the second half. I think that they knew coming out that they just really needed to throw, and especially once the Rams kind of went up big, Vikings had to come back and try and match them point for a point, So there was just a lot of passing in the second half. I don't think that they needed to run the ball, honestly, if they were going If I'm guessing that this wasn't the plan coming in to have to throw the ball this much, because if that was the plan, they should have just

gave Dalvin Cook the night off. They should They could have given him another week to rest, and essentially, like you said yesterday, it would have been like a three week stretch for him to get right, and ultimately that would have saved us selfishly, that would have saved us fantasy owners, who once Dalvin Cook is active, you pretty much need to start him. So we kind of got burned just because he was active. So it kind of, you know, worked out wrong for both fantasy owners and

the Vikings. I think they should have just gave him the night off if this was their game plan to pass them all this month. I tend to agree. When we come back, we've turned the page on Thursday Night Football and we move on into the weekend. Now, also is Max Masfoy, Max, Yeah, that's that's that's Max using the chat's he wrote Greggy right, all right, um now people had a few questions, but I needed to

play you something. It's not Thursdaynight football related, and it's certainly not line up related. Have you heard this? Twelve one Yankees with one out to go from Spam as the runner at first and the pitches popped up? This should do it? Shallow? Coming in a standing, he makes a catch, Hollo, game over, Yankees win? Yanke how my arm? Oh? Yankees win? What? What? What happened? There? Is he doing his normal stick and like like through his arm, out his arm? What do you ask me? One more time?

Class again? That is beautiful? Oh my god? Twelve one Yankees with he makes it hollow? Game over? Yankees win? Oh? I hit my arm? Oh, Susan, I hit my arm. That's baseball, Susan. Look, man, he's just a running joke. At this point, I feel bad. You didn't you ever retire? No, you might die in the booth, most likely will He's not every inning of every Yankee game. Book. Man. A lot of people don't like John Sterling because he's senile. I kind of adore it. I'm alright with it. Like

he's so bad. He's good. There's things like that in life. He's the best. He's the best. Yes, alright A four four eight four three six seven night. Let's start the calls. I want to start our good friend Bob and Romo. What's up? Bobby? Hi? Greg? Hi, Frank? Can you doing? We're doing well? How are you? It was a it was a pretty sad morning so far. I could have been put a pain in the book to him this morning. It's okay. You weren't rude, right, he forgives you. Don't worry.

I talked to him and he said, listen, I forgive Bob. On Sunday I have and him do lab You're going up to one thousand dollars right sure, and it's a free one to play. So I got Matt Ryan and my quarterbacks. How it from Chicago, Johnson from Detroit, Jackson from Tampa Bay, Adams from Green Bay, really from Atlanta, Hooper from Atlanta, and Gordon from as charges in Chicago. Defense. How does that sounded? I like the Atlanta falcon stack. I think there's gonna be a lot of points scored

in that game. Um, I have met Ryan ranked as a top three quarterback this week might be a little bit too reactionary, but yeah, a lot of points expecting that Bengals Ryan um Falcons game. You have Matt Ryan, you have Ridley, you have Hooper. The one thing that really stood out to me that I didn't really like was DeShawn Jackson for Tampa Bay. But since you're playing in the tournament, you need to try and be a little bit different. I don't think a lot of people

are gonna own him. So if that's your logic, I'm all right with the bob. Yeah, all right, there you go for four, four, three, six, seven nine. Let's continue all with Chris and Dallas. That's Chris. Hey, guys, how are you all today? Doing great? Man? Um? All right? So UM ten team full PPR I need to flex. My options are Tyler boy Kenyan Drake, and j H r E. And I'm also starting Giovanni Bernard and Melvin Gordon.

So in PPR UM I think Tyler Boyd is a little bit safer than Kenyan Drake this week easy, especially in that match up against the falconsa big total. They're fifty one points. Um, so yeah, I'm gonna go with Tyler Boyd, no question about it. I don't think there's worth a discussion. Tyler Boyd the easy answer here for this one. Let me hit up Julian in Miami. What's up, Julian? Hey,

what's up? Guys? How's everything? It's great, man, what's up? Okay? So, if you guys know Keenan Atllen has missed practiced twice. When I have Mike Williams and I need to start two people in the PPR, I have crap cheek Mike Williams, seven Coleman and Drake from those four for the two, I start UM. All right, So Tevin Coleman is definitely a lot assuming back Freeman doesn't play Um for all the reasons that we keep mentioning between that Bengals and

Falcons game. Plus, he's going to be the workhorse there. I will say, if I think we all assume Keenan Allen is going to play, you want to see what happens in practice today if he doesn't. If Keenan Allen doesn't play, I would use Mike Williams. If Keenan Allen does play, I would use Michael Crabtree. I actually completely agree with that Frankie two two agreements. Yeah, that on the same page. Look at that doesn't happen often. I agree, Um,

could you start Corey Clement this week? I wouldn't want to. I think the Eagles backfield's kind of a mess right now. I know the information came out yesterday with JGI having a fracture, some kind of small fracture in his back. Today Peterson came out and said, quote, he's good to go. I don't really know what that means, but I have a feeling we have the classic Doug Peterson three headed

running back by committee, fourheaded running back by committee. You don't know what's going to happen, um, So I think, yeah, it could be like a g I e for tended twelve touches, Corey Clement sprinkled in, Darren Sprowls on passing downs if they're playing the hurry up, and then Wendell small Wood probably going to vulture touchdown. So we're just right back where we started with the Doug Peterson Eagles running backs, which is exactly why I told people to

not draft j JI this year. Why I didn't draft a minute. Yeah, listen, I I did. I like the GI I thought he pulled away. I didn't think the injury would would hop up, and I was wrong. We we've we both did stupid things this draft season. Greg, you were in on a GI even though we had all the signs that trends, everything telling us, look, Doug Peterson,

just don't think too much about this. Doug Peterson employs multiple running backs here and then with myself, I drank the Michael Florio kool aid, and I got in on a Mari Cooper, whereas everything told us Marie Cooper very inconsistent for fantasy, not really good. So I made a mistake. You made a mistake. What else isn't it? What else is new? Is that's rare that That's what's new. Is rare that we make those mistakes exactly. It's the rare part. Yes,

I agree with you, heartily appreciate it. That's gonna Nathan in New Jersey. It's up, Nathan, Good morning, guys. How you doing a great man? What's up? So? I got two things, like um, I got two fantasy teams, but on one of them, I try I'm trying to figure out who should I start this week? Russell Wilson or Fitzpatrick fitz Patrick, the Magic Man is in Chicago, and then Russell Wilson is in Arizona this week. I like

Russell Wilson pretty easily like Russ. I had them close in my rankings yesterday before I made the adjustment, but I mentioned this seems like the classic spot for Ryan fitz Fitzpatrick's to go on the road inst the Chicago Bears. The offensive line did not good look very good on Monday night against the Steelers, just trying to hold up

against that pass rush. So there's a chance that Khalil Mack and that Bears defensive lines is absolutely going to bog down on Ryan I Fitzpatrick, and as a result, I think he's gonna have multiple turnovers in this game. I think Russell Wilson is safer. I don't know that he has the most upside, but I think he's safer. I would use Ross Wilson. What's your other question, man? And then uh, yeah, my question? Shall I start James Corner a good option for this week? Or carry on

Johnson James Connor? Carry on Johnson, Frankie, Yeah, I'm using James Connor. He's uh. I think my sixth ranked running back coming into this I meant this week. Uh No, I actually have them seven. But I think people are sipping the carry On Johnson, uh coolate a little bit too much. I think we're getting a little bit prematurely excited about carry On Johnson here. I know he broke the streak of non yard rushing games for the Detroit Lions, but he still only played of the snaps, so he

has two other running backs to contend with. Um, I know that the Cowboys defense is going to be without Shawn Lee. I think carry On Johnson is more of like a low n RB two flex running back, whereas James Conner is still a topson running back for me. Greg, Yeah, I agree with the whole to the I like carry a Dnson. I think he's arrows absolutely trending up. James

Connor ultimately a better player right now. So I'm with you, Frank, Um, I would prefer James conn I would preserve James Conner, who still is a borderlines me top ten running back here this week eight four or four eight four, three, six, eight seven nine. We got on Twitter and answer so tweets there. It's at Greg Sauceman at Rhodo Underscore. Frank well, obviously always open to answer your question. Um, well this is crazy getting oh b J for carry on and

one of my wide receivers. Do I take that it looks somewhere else? I mean you like screenshot all of his wife receivers to moving on, who would you start this week? Who just started this week? If he plays Antonio Brown or Keenan Allen. Definitely Antonio Brown. Yeah, I still think Keenan Allen is going to get his eventually. Um, the targets are still there for him. Um, he's been a little bit underwhelming. He had a very good week one, then has kind of trended down the last couple of weeks.

I wonder if that might be attributed to this knee injury, if it's a little bit more serious than they're leading on. But yeah, I would still use Antonio Brown. Keenan Allen still a low end wide receiver one this week, regardless of format, assuming he plays. Lance asks you, Frankie, who you got Carrie on Johnson or your boys Sonny Michelle

N very close in standard? Yeah, that's exactly what I have up here to I have Sony Michelle RB twenty this week, Harryon Johnson RB twenty two, so it is very close, but I'll go with Sony Michelle um just based on the increase of snaps that are coming. Plus, I thought this was a really interesting stat on Sony Michelle. When he's been on the field this season, he has an eighty point five six touch percentage GREG so basically,

whenever he's on the field, they're using him. Obviously, that's gonna go down a little bit now because he's going to play more than he was before and he's not going to be you know, called on every single time but he's on the field. But I will take Sony Michelle in a game where the Patriots are favored by seven points, I think they're gonna be playing with the lead. I think there's some point scored in this one. I wouldn't be surprised with Tony Michelle scores his first touch time.

I also like Sonny Michelle in the standard rather than carry on Johnson, if you still has to worry about the ridic in the passing downs literally blunts still there potentially on the goal line, Sonny Michelle is going to get really every carry outside of the full PPR stuff. So I like Sonny Michelle in standard over carry on Johnson. A lot of questions I've seen Frank or regards to Doug Baldin, and I'm assuming I don't know this. He's gonna be questionable today. The question is do you play

him this weekend? Your answer is no, nope, even if he plays again. We spoke about this yesterday with Dr A. He still thinks that week five is the optimal recovery time for Doug Baldin to return. I know that they've said that Doug Baldwin is quote chomping at the bit to return, but again with an injury like this, Dr A went over it. He returned too soon to play in week one, and he honestly thought that if he

returned in week two he wouldn't have been better. And for the long term, I think we see a similar situation here where if Doug Baldin returns in week four, he's just kind of rushing himself back and putting himself out there for higher re injury risks. So I don't think you would see the full compliment of snaps either. I don't know how effective he's going to be in his first game back. Me personally, if he plays, I still don't want to start him, he would be ranked,

you know, outside my top forty eight. I would take a shot on either one of the Packers wide receivers. Instead, I would take a shot on Court Davis going up against the Eagles secondary, where if there is a place to target the Eagles defense, it is against their secondary healing Cole Quincy and Noon Wall. I would start all

those guys over Doug Walton. We mentioned Tyler Boyd earlier in the program, however, well, no question starting him over some of the other options like Kenyan Drake, J J I. A J. Green taken off the injury report today, which means he will be a hundred percent active and ready to go this weekend. Also taken off the injury reports, Giovanni Bernardi. Not that we thought there's anything to really worry about. Their all of little Gel and A J.

Green off the injury report for this Sunday. Yeah, I mean, I think all along we expected A. J. Green to play. We correctly predicted Dr A's analysis. That was amazing. Yeah, because look, I I still do agree with that. Like A J. Green with a groin injury, these are extremely tricky. You've heard um, you know, past NFL athletes even talk about this. The groin injury is one of the trickiest ones because you know, you need to be able to stop on a dime. When you're running ribs, you gotta

be able to jump. I didn't he get given moment for a contested ball. So it's just a very tricky injury and very very open to re injury once he starts playing. So I know Adian game wants to play in this game. Obviously, if you own him, you have to start him. But I am a little bit nervous about him, you know, finishing that game. Uh. Gio Bernard, Yeah, you know, I think all along we expected him to play. He's the top seven running back for me this week,

regardless of format. Uh. As usual, the Falcons just cannot stop pass catching running backs. The same thing will be said for Gio Bernard. I think it's interesting right here, just pulled up Rotal World Greg and something on Randall Cobb, Mike McCarthy saying, quote, we'll see with Randall Cobb and his hamstring heading into week four. So if he doesn't go, I think Geronimo Allison instantly boost up to like a high end wide receiver. Three In that match against the Bills,

I think so too. I think Geronimo Allison absolutely in that scenario, could prop up. They all think the Packers could blow out the Bills at Roger getting a little see it healthier there. I don't see it either, But if they do, and they always say this, they ask four points before it happens, Janoo Allison obviously a touchdown

upside guy, Um, we'll see what happens. Yeah, And I know, you know some people are going to try and point to the Packers running backs this week, like, oh, you know they're favored by so many points and I mean playing with a second half lead. That's that's what we said about Latavius Murray and the Vikings last week when they were going up against the Buffalo Bills. Remember, this is still a complete mess with the Green Bay Packers.

We know that Aaron Jones had the most carriers last week, he had the most rushing yards last week, he played the fewest amount of snaps. This is going to continue to be a frustrating situation unless someone hurt gets hurt or someone emerges. Uh. In terms of usage the way that Mike McCarthy is using them right now, I think ultimately, if you own all three of them, or or or if you own Jamal Williams and Aaron Jones, you still kind of want to get away from them this week,

even though they're going up against the Buffalo Bills. Okay, so there you go, eight four four eight four three six s Sevenine, we take the break in a few moments, and then, if course get back to your calls on the phone lines. Let me go back to our YouTube comments. By the way, Fantasy Basketball League is coming back. Jim Ross asked, Hm, I quit. I did not quit, for the record. I am still in the league, but I have a partner. Do you have a partner? I did

I have a partner this league this year? Is it Judy? She's like your life partner? Now, Judy wants to do it, but I think you want to do fantasy football, not so much fantasy basketball fantasy football. So so who's your partner? Uh? You know what, I thought, I only wanted my partner to be like one of my best friends. So you took my Florio. I thought about Floria, and there was like, you know what, Floria was pretty terrible at fantasy basketball.

So I didn't want to go with one of my best friends that Rhet screwed me out of is Smith last year. That was me, but oh that was you. But he got him, he did, but I needed my my best friend forever me. I'm partnering with Frank this. Yeah, Frank freak the take part. Honestly, the only reason that we're partnering up is because Adam Rowna is the Dictator commissioner that he is increased the leak fee to one hundred dollars for no reason, without asking anybody he's in.

He's increased the leak fee two hundred dollars. And I'm like, look, if it's a hundred bucks, Greg and I will share a team. If it's fifty bucks, will take a team each. So, Jim Ross, I hope you've been saving up money. I hope you've been laying back on the Natty lights because it's one dollars for the Adam on his fantasy basketball lead me. I was ready like, let me just the pay ronis and then I ran, oh my god, he believes he believes hundred and like you want to just split?

He's like, yeah, all right, nice, you're gonna do a huntre by yourself? Yeah? Actually, whatever, Well we know Greg came rich. He's old retirement money. I came within a block of winning winning it all last year. Don't worry. I'm gonna push you over the edge. You're gonna push me over there. I get you that block. Your call's going up next. The story began back several years ago where I was hosting a serious sex in program named The Road to Experts in the Morning, and we had a young video producer had a bad haircutting a bad beard. He had a rattail. It's gotten a little worse. He had a rat tail and it was disgusting in life. Man, you need to cut that. And he said, who is this? Hi, I'm Greg and he got high. I'm Frank on the intern.

You fast forwards. So many months later, there's a company party at the forty forty Club Times and you know, I was a young lad at this company phill of old people and there are two people that were young that I was like, I want to be friends, No, I want to be best friends with them, and it was Frank Staffel and it was Mike Florio and they hung out and they got very drunk, and like, these

guys are getting very drunk at this company party. So I left and I signed on full time with the Fantasy Sports Network, followed by several months later Frank Staffel and my Floria coming on full time. And from there we were the only ones that were here every single day, for many hours every day. And that natural chemistry. Let's Mike r down on a saying, you know what, this chemistry should be on the air together. This should not just be an off air conversation, it should be an

on air conversation. And there began the latest and greatest incarnation of the Fantasy best Friends Forever. I feel like we should hug it out. Okay, should hug it out. Somebody talk play some love music. That's too late for those listening the radio. We just we just hugged it out and hugged it out, hugged it out. We had to do it. I had to do it. That was the story with the Fantasy bfs A four four eight four three six seven nine four three six eight seven nine.

Let's send out to Mitch in Wisconsin. What's going on, Mitch? Hey, how you guys are doing doing? Awesome? Dude? What's up? Awesome? I have a really tough question. Um, I got McCaffrey on a bye, and my bench is thin. I have Lagarren Blunt, I have Austin Ekeler and Cavan Austin because he actually considers a running back wide receiver, so I don't know who to put in, and the waiber wire is really thin. Melvin Gordon already started, so yeah, regardless

of format I'm gonna use Austin Ekeler here. Just I know Legarrett Blunt had the the sixteen carries last week, but I can't bank on that weekend and week out again. The Lion's running back situation is extremely frustrating. I know you mentioned there that you have Melvin Gordon already in your starting lineup, but there's actually a buddy of mine in my home league who starts both Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekela right now because he's waiting for marking him

to return. He's actually two and one, so it's not impossible great to employ that. Um, and plus with the limited touches, he's looked very, very good on like a yard per touch basis. So I'll use Austin Ekeler. There you go. I also go with Austin neck watched that it was easier um than he made it up to me. So there we go. Um. I want to give you this quote and I saw I saw it, and then

this morning or last night, Cole Beasley, did you read this? No, Cob Beasley said some kind of wrap line from him in regard to the Cowboys passing game quote, We're just getting open. That's all we can do. If you watched the tape, that's all you gotta do. Oh man, Wow, Maybe we need to hold some open tryout for the quarterback position. Maybe we get the fantasy executive throwing some bullets down there in the big DS. This could be a bit of a dumpster fire year for the Dallas Cowboys.

We'll say they're now throwing Dak Prescott under the bus there. Yeah, that's not great. I don't I don't remember them ever saying something stuff like that about Tony Romo. Never. Never, that's about quarter back. A four or four, A four, three six seven. It's gonna fill in the Bronx. It's up Phil Philip what's going on, Bud? That's up man? How you doing? Yeah? What's up man? Sorry about that? Sorry about that? So listen, uh trade. I'm trying to get big Ben. I'm more Offred Eckler and Alison and

he's not really gold for it. I got Adeleman, he's pushing on for that. I don't want to get rid of Adelman. What do you think about Alison and declas running back for a week? Who's your quarterback? My quarterback? I got Tannehill Now I just dropped for Bordles golf. So it's playing the way so basically playing the waiver wire for your quarterback week after week. To me, I don't give up talent for quarterback. I'm not giving up

a running back and wide receiver for Big Ben. Like to me, you'll you'll you'll find somebody a Baker Mayfield whoever on the waiver wire and and probably make it work. Yeah, especially with the bye week's coming up soon, Greg, You're you're gonna need all the depth that you possibly can. I mean, players dropping like flies weekend and week out. So I'm with Greg's. Typically I like to stick with the running back and wide receiver depth more so than

trade them away for a quarterback. I think you're fine with the Hill, at least for this week. He's like a borderline QB one this year, So especially with this matchup, I'm just gonna ride the hot hand. If eventually you get the right trade offer where you don't have to give up much, fine, but I'm not giving up two pieces for big Bend. Yeah, of course doesn't seem worth it. Eight four four, eight four three six eight seven nine. Let's go to David in Texas. What's up, David? Hey,

how's it going? Guys? Um? I have a quick question for you. At my Flix. I have Lamar Miller, I have Brown from the Ravens. I also have Ridley or Callaway from Cleveland. I could put in and I'm not sure which will go with you need one one starter out of those guys. What format is this? Yea, that's a full point PPR lea full point VBR Lamar Miller, who sucks John Brown, Calvin Ridley, Austin Ekeler or Antonio Callaway?

What do you think in here? Frank? Yeah, I think John Brown is the safest in the full point PPR, just based on his target share in the way that he's being used and he has a great match up against the Pittsburgh Steeler. I know he popped up on the injury report, so I would pay attention to that. But if John Brown is good to go on Sunday, I'm using John Brown. If he's even like limited or if we get news about that, I would use Calvin Ridley. I think Lamar Miller is kind of on the backburn

here because it's PPR. He doesn't catch a lot of passes, So it's John Brown for me. If there's any news about him like not being I would use Calvin Ridley. There you go, eight four or four eight four or three six st seven nine. I agree with you, Frankie. To me, the answer is John Brown. I feel safe as with him in the PPR. The target share has been there and it looks in the red zone, which is cool. Yeah. And as I mentioned, they're using him

all over the field. They're using him in the red zone, they're using him down the field as that deep threat option, and his targets are pretty much right on par with Michael Crabtree. We've consistently said Michael Crabtree is one A, John Brown is one B. Randall con doesn't play. Yeah, that would help Geronimo Allison owners an awful lot would suck for me a little bit in the league where I dropped Geronimo Allison last week, but again I did so to pick up Sony Michelle, So I don't regret

it yet, but I potentially could. Josh asked, so are YouTube Chad, you're starting Corey Davis, Kenny Stills or Aaron Joe PPR. Again, I'm gonna fade Aaron Jones here regardless of format. Um, I think it's close. I'll use Kenny Stills. I think the targets will be there a little bit more so this week. I know that it's kind of been a mess of a situation for the Dolphins wide receivers. They're all playing a lot of snaps, they're all kind

of distributing targets equally. But against the New England Patriots, I think the Dolphins are gonna be playing from behind in this game. Plus the Patriots secondary has given up a lot of big plays, and that's exactly where Kenny Stills excelled. By the way, I was taking a few more questions of course on YouTube and the chat on Twitter, and all the phones were just a few minutes away from our picks of the week. Freak and I both

had a good week last week. We'll getting all your gambling stuff five and overall last week, I mean, how did you do? Insurer? Well? I didn't, did I well? I mean people want to hear that we're doing well, Greg, you know, if they want to take our picks, you know, but they're not gonna take well, hey, I want to

win five last week, you should take my picks this week. Well, I mean, I like being honest with the people, like I'm telling them I went, I went oh in three in my picks and week two I'll tell you that I'm not gonna win every single week. I think I went I went two for three, and week one I went oh in three, and week two I went five for five last week, So there you go. And I actually tweeted out all five picks. So if you would have parleyed that you're rich Man, never parla all individual bets.

Yeah you are. You and Kingda going to the sports booth this weekend. Now we don't have any time because as you saw today, I didn't come with my laptop. I'm going straight too. In October Fest ten, after this, Munich on the East River should be great. Man. Yeah, it's fun. There's a live band there. Um. They only have two types of beers, light or dark, of course, so that's gonna be fun. So I normally go on Fridays, but I can't go tonight tickets for that, Yes you do. Sorry, Gregor,

I should have invited you. I'm a bad friend. Look, you're a bad friend. I'm a bad friend. That's what keeps us to You don't invite me to your house. You don't give me foot locker hook ups. I don't invite you to October Fest. I guess it goes both ways. To be fair, I didn't even invite like my friends, like outside of work. He didn't eat an invite Bip is coming. Oh kind of invited him because Kinga hung our October fist on the fridge. It was like, oh, snap,

you go to October Fest. I want to go. We're like all right, I mean, look, we're not gonna say you can't go. No, but to to the public. So whoever wants to go. Rob wanted to go. He didn't order his tickt in time. Now it sold out, so Robin bit Both both didn't like Robin. I didn't send him like a Facebook invite, like, hey, come to October fiest amazing invited Robin not man. Yeah you know what. I wasn't even invited to your birthday last year? Did I send those invites that? I wonder if I'll be

invited to the wedding? Same? Yeah, sure if Judy is in charges, No way I'm going. She didn't invite me to your birthday. She invited your freaking friends from your Israel trip ten years ago, but she didn't invite me. That's a false to day. Now we're just lying. I don't we can't do that. I'm sorry. All right, it's like a couple more calls. We'll sign off YouTube and we will rock m Hey yo, Eric in Florida, you are up next Fantasy Best Friends for Ever. Good afternoon, guys,

doing do well? Do well? What's up? David Johnson or Giovanni Bernard? That's great question? David Johnson or Gianni Bernard. Joe Mixon ruled out David Johnson against the Seahawks, gio bernarda against Atlanta. Have Giovanni ranked higher than David Johnson in all three formats? Giovanni Bernard at number seven, David

Johnson number twelve. Again, just the Falcons what they allow to running backs in the past game receptions, allowing the most receptions, allowing the most targets, allowing the fourth most fantasy points overall to running backs. Do Muran is gonna have a monster week? Plus that offense is just way better right now, the Bengals offense than the Cardinals, and there's gonna be a lot of points scored according to Vegas. So I'm taking Gi over Giovanni Bernard, Greg, I'm taking

David Johnson. I'm giving one. I'll give it him one shot with Josh Rosen, Josh Rosen starting quarterback, and you'll dump it off with David Johnson. Remember it was either a week one or week two. I said, use James Connor over David Johnson. You didn't believe me, and that person used David Johnson over James counter they got burned. Use Jovanni Bernard over David Johnson. This week, I'm saying DJ. I'm saying DJ. One last call before we sign off

of YouTube, and that is Josh in Colorado. What's up, Josh? So, how you guys doing this morning? We're doing great? Man? What's up. That's great already. UM two part question here, Um, let's he here. I have two of the our pickures that I used, like me and Gallas Carter and uh Brandon Marshall. But I want to pick up Aaron Jones. Do you think that's a good idea for either one

to those guys. I'm thinking Brandon Marshall. I'm pay dropping Brandon Marshall for um, Aaron Jones if you want to try and just take a stab at the running back. I know that I've kind of pooh pooed the Packers running back situation throughout the show today. I still do think that he has upside if they ever decide that and realize in my opinion that he's the most talented

running back on the roster. If they do that and he starts getting like fifteen touches per game, then he will be a high in flex um in that discussion. So I'm alright dropping Brandon Marshall. I want to hold Dallas Goddard just based on the tight end landscape and what he did last week. I think he has a

little bit of upset would drive Brandon Marshall. Let's just no upside there whatsoever, especially with Doug Baldwin waste on waste eleven dollars alrighty cool, And then in my second part, I would say, um, let's see here, I have opening for my plex. I have to take in in but kind of like a boom of us kind of thing. So I want to either start to talk about Ralliams or Christian Kart on the Cairo because so we got or keep taking it well. So the Keenan alle things

right is interesting. If he doesn't play, I'll start tyroll Williams and I have no problem with that if he does. If he Kenan and does play, I'll probably leave Ted to get in. It's against the Giants without Eli Apple. You take a shot to me if it's PPR, is a PPR or Standard Standard and Standard, I'm with Greg. I would use Ted game. I just think he has a better opportunity to score a touchdown. But if it

was PPR, I would use Christian Kirk. If Larry Fitzgerald is out, I would use Christian Kirk regardless of about it. With that, we signed off YouTube for the week. Coming up next Corey Parson, Jim Day and of course Chris Venture The Closer The Fantasy football frenzy that comes your way next. If you're listening on the radio, order the podcast. We're not going anywhere for the next five minutes. Ago you have all of our gambling picks coming up right

now from the expert. For example, here was some music with Vona, and hopefully it's better than last week's Jeopardy music. Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding dinging. Greg, what's your picks? No, no, no, wait wait wait, why am I because you made me go first last week? To go first? I know I did last week by the way of our three official picks. So now you went at five and o in the week he went two and one year official picks. I don't know that.

Actually I got saved. I got saved when I went into Jersey. The Draft Kings sports book had the Chargers at plus seven. I didn't have the hook anymore. So I was like, you know what, I'm not doing it. He went back to Jeffard Day, you s O big, unbelievable Movona. Piss off, Greggy, piss off, Greggy. All right, Greggy, the picks I'm going with mine. J E T S Jets, Jets, Jets. Something just doesn't add up here when they have the lowest total of the week at thirty eight and a half.

Yet the Jaguars are still favored by seven and and and a half points here, so they don't expect a lot of points to be scored. Yet they're still favored by seven and a half. I don't see the Jaguars winning this game by more than seven points. Plus, Jets have gone six and note against the spread there the last six times when failing to cover the spread in consecutive games, so Todd Bowls obviously bounces back, UM, and I think the Jets do so as well. Taking the

Patriots against the Miami Dolphins. UM. The last five games at the Patriots have gone on a two game losing streak to have an average margin of victory of twenty two point two points, Greggy, So I'm taking the New England Patriots there, and my final pick, the fun one of the week, I'm taking the Browns. They're gonna win this game. They're gonna win this game, outright, Greg, They're gonna win it. They're gonna go in their first winning streak.

Since I don't think the Raiders are very good at all, I think the Cleveland Browns defense is legit. Their plus nine and the turnover differential right now. Plus they limited both the Steelers and the Saint to just twenty one points each. Baker Mayfield, it's better than Tyrod Taylor who moves the ball down the field. And they beat the Oakland Raiders. They go into two game winning streak. They start the year four and oh against the spread. Greggy, A couple of a couple of ones stand out to

me imagined Cleveland and Oakland. I feel like everyone was on Cleveland, yet there're two and a half point dogs. They brought that point. They brought that down but a half a point. I think that's are actually coming in Oakland. Like a lot of people are leaning Okland right now. So weird today, Um, I think they just don't expect them to start full of things. As I said, stand out to me that I'm gonna make us my official

picks in the week. Chargers and Niners Charges are a ten and a half point favorite over C. J. Beethard and the San Francisco pourt Niners. That's only because people don't remember how horrific CJ. Bethard is at football. Otherwise this would be even bigger than ten and a half. Give me the Chargers laying ten and a half on Sunday against the forty Niners. Frank keeps talking about the Chargers, talking about how good this offense is. They're going to

blow reversal, the role reversal. Come join me, Join me on the bandwagon, Greggy. Going the Shiner Chargers minus ten and a half Bears and Bucks is really interesting because the Bears are three point favorite over a Bucks team that let the world on the fire of the first two weeks and went tote tote with the Seeers a week three. You gotta tell me everybody's on the box right they have to be. I don't know. I honestly don't know what the trends are for this game right now.

Give me the home favorite in the Chicago Bears. In this one, I nobody likes it because everyone thinks I would I wouldn't touch the game. Well I just did. You're the Bears three point favorites there from my final pick. Uh. The other one that I really wanted to go within a lot of Steve was what you did too. So we'll make the same game. We'll think the Patriots at seven point favorites. I think they blow the Domins out of the water. I think it's an easy one for them.

So Patriots, Patriots, Chargers and Bears for me, Patriots, Jets and Browns for me. That's gonna do it. Frenzy is up next, or Franks Stample. My name is Grex Susman. Thank you so much for watching and listening with fantasy best friends forever. We'll do it all again on Monday, we hope.
