You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network Fantasy Best Friends Forever, m Do do Dude, Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do? Yeah? There as love Fantasy Fast Friends Forever here on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network alongside Frankie Stampo, Michael Florio, I am Greg Sauceman Channel. Then, what's going on? How much? Greggy? It's finally here Friday. It's Friday, Friday. It is Friday. It's not just any Friday, though.

It is a farewell to Florio Friday. Mikey, it's your last day as a BFF like in life and on the show us What's up Man in life as well? Wow, I've already never hear from us again after today. I've already told you, guys, I still want to I want to come on when I can. Well, it's invite you if we allow, If we allow it. Today on the show, we're gonna go over Florio's rankings, of course for this year, some of the the stuff that you wanted to point out.

Um certainly gonna go over his rankings last year and let you know what isn't very good of him. We have quite a few surprises planned along the way. You're not gonna want to miss any part of the show. We have a lot planned, including Mike your first surprise. Right now? Are you ready? No? All right, we have a guest online, sir, how are you? I'm I'm pretty good, pretty good. There is here for your final day. Like, that's awesome. How have you been it's been a while. Yeah,

I've been. I've been really good. Uh, look at it. We can't let these other two clowns be the only voice on the show. So i'm I'm I'm here to fill in the real fantasy advice, such as yourself. So yeah, it's good to be here. Man. It's sad that you won't be a fantacy best friend forever, but maybe your best best friend forever. R L. Real life. There you go. According to Greggy, whatever done, he's done with you for sure. Are you driving, l A, are you flying? You're driving? Well,

I thought you can go through Nashville. I do want to go to Nashville very badly before we got this job. By the way, he Floria told me he was went in Nashville this summer well with his girlfriend. He was super excited to hang out with you, Eric, um and and then he got a do job. So and everything changed. No, that's life, e y. Speaking of Nashville and Tennessee. Did Jeff play the Titans in Tennessee this year? And I went with the idea flying out to Nashville going to

that game? What do you think? Yeah, I mean you definitely should like Uh, so things have changed for me. I'm probably not gonna be here on Sundays, fair, probably not gonna watch a lot of football lessons on my phone. But that's that's a that's a good thing. I'm still deep into the fantasy, um prepping like crazy right now. As soon as hockey gets down. That's when I started. Uh it's a slow burn, but uh, the madness is

at full capacity right now, that's for sure. Um. I heard a rumor started by you, Uh they're coming up soon right to hang out. I am yeah, yeah, started by me and uh Mike Anando have have graciually, uh graciously agreed to have me up there. So I'll be there on the tenth and uh doing the flex draft for a bunch of the guys. Uh the Jake Ceeley organizes on the eleventh stand from the twelfth, and then

I'll fly out in the afternoon of the thirteen. So, uh so we're gonna have to get into something for sure. Absolutely we'll make we'll make it happen. And then there's a possibility back a week later. Now, right, there is a possibility. Um. I don't write the shows or or any say what goes on, but uh, fingers crossed that were there, Um, it would be my first Summer Slam. I mean in New York at Barclay Center. It would be uh definitely a dream come true. So it's fingers crossed,

But I mean you just never know. It's a crazy that I live in, so you never know. Absolutely. Hey, last year Barclay Center, we were all there as you became the NXT Tag Team champions. That was awesome for us. Yeah, help the building for me. We all became the n ACTUALLY tax team champions. That was cool. One quarter of one third of the NX take right. It was great technically five because I mean my partner he's there too,

So there's five five champ that's never been done. Yeah, probably raised for that, but whatever, um So Floria Well, I said on the show, I wanted to give you some device. So e y is just diving into his fantasy football uh study right now, So give him a player that he needs to be drafting this year. I don't think he's gonna like it, but I'm I'm with Frank. I know Frank feels very highly on these as well.

I'm with the duo of Andrew Luck and t Y Hilton this year because I feel like both of them have the potential and we've already seen them do it to outlive their draft price. I can get to Hy Hilton in the third round. Andrew Luck as like we said the other day, like the tenth or eleventh quarterback off the board. You compare him with someone safe. I

like taking that chance. And also you I mean, I guess in my time on this show during football season this year, my Blake Snell has been a Maori Cooper, which is crazy because I never would have thought I would be in an Amori Cooper. But I'm buying the John Gruden effect and him always getting the most out of his number one wide receiver. The John Gruden effect, by the way, I mean it is in full effect, Like it is a real thing. It's even affected gambling odds.

I mean the Raiders over under win total at nine games, Greg, they have the same win total as the Los Angeles Rams. Doesn't anyone else find that crazy? The Oakland Raiders? Yeah crazy? I thought someone just like fire a cannon at us. Yeah, that's one way to wake you up, Greg. The magic eight ball that we have here, Just Phil, that's probably a bad sign. For bad sign because you're leaving. Oh Mike, all right, e y, I'm ARII Cooper you buying in? Uh?

Like I think he has all the tools. But I mean, how many years are we going to do this to ourselves? What year? Year, three, year four? Of Like, Oh, he's the guy, he's the guy. He's the guy. He's not the guy. He's never been the guy. And to me, I mean, I don't know, Jon Gruden hasn't been a coach and how many years has he adapted as he had changed his philosophy. I mean he's saying he's going

back to football. Well that's I mean, we saw what happened with Jeff Fisher when he tried football with the Rams. I think the Rams have more skill than the Raiders do, so I mean Mario Cooper could be in trouble. I get it's a real thing. When he was a coach forty years ago, his number one receiver did really well. But football is different. There's three receivers on the field almost all the time. The guys are in hurry up, they're throwing the ball twice as much as they used to.

There's committee backs, there's all this different stuff. Did John Gruden change I don't know. Well, I mean, we'll love to see I think Marie Cooper his ADP is about right.

I mean, he could be a thing. He could be a thing, but I probably not gonna happ him on the name of my team's You know, it's amazing, um Florio that you you kind of started off like you while you're not gonna like this, you're gonna like this, and yet you didn't talk about the other dude you're stupidly high on You're afraid you're gonna get punched in the mouth. Which stud is this dude that's that has

been a football player in like a decade. I did mention Angelo, but you didn't mention I didn't think you mentioned him to the height that he needed to be. You think he's the fastest riser all the fantasy foot I don't know if you agree or not, but I think has Andrew Luck, Like there's already reports that he's playing,

and he's looking like his old self. As those reports come out, and as we start to if there is if he is healthy, and we start to see it and he plays well in preseason, I think he's going to climb up draft boards very quickly. And I don't think Greggy agrees. That's no, that's the key. I mean, look at it. I mean nothing personal against Andrew Luck. I think football is better with Andrew Luck. I think he's a great player. I love watching him play. He's tough,

he's he's mobile, he's accurate. He can throw the ball down the field. But look at he had a surgery and he has a different throwing arm. I don't care what you say or how far medical science has advanced. He's got a different arm, and he's got to learn how to play that. Go back and read interviews Drew Brees when he was with the Chargers, he had his arm surgically repaired. Okay, look, medical medicine has advanced since then, but he talked about how he had to learn relearn

how to throw me. I love Andrew Luck, but until I see it he's I'm not drafting him. I don't care. They said that he was gonna play last year, all the way up until like the fourth or fifth week there. Oh, he's gonna be back. He's gonna be back. We didn't play. He didn't play a single down. He didn't throw a football. Yes, he is technically a football player right now, but how good of a football player? I think that's still that

still remains to be seen. Why if we get him in preseason and we see him you know this classic Andrew Luck slinging it down the field throughout the preseason and training camp, will that, you know, lessen your concerns about him? Absolutely? But I mean I haven't seen that. I've heard here and say that he's throwing the ball. I've heard them say that he's throwing the ball, but I haven't seen it. I haven't seen it. If if he plays well in preseason, would you be willing to

draft him. I mean, no one will rock it up higher than him too. For me, I mean nobody. They're deep, They're might have the worst defense in the league. He's going to have to throw the ball. They didn't draft a running back. They're stuck with whoever the hell they have their Marlon Mack, these other two rookies that have never played it down in the NFL. He's going to have to throw the ball. They're going to have to throw it. I mean they're gonna throw to tow t

Y Hilton and who knows who else. But it's, uh, yeah, it's it's uh, it remains to be seen. Like I I have to see him play. He has to play preseason. He has to be on the field when there's pads and people are running at him and knocking them down, and you know, like that's that all has to happen. I'm not just gonna reach for him because people remember who he was three or four years ago. You know, it's interesting, Mike, because you recommended Cooper, you recommended Luck.

You also once recommended this player Seattle's right top three in rushing attempts every season that they drafted Russell Wilson that ended in when they finished twentie I do believe they want to run more this year and they're searching to find a consistent starter. Last season they went and acquire Eddie Lacy for a reason, and there will be plenty of work for him if he can stay healthy. It is also worth noting that Lacey is a career

of four point four yards per carry rate. While I have soured a bit on Lacy throughout camp to his ankle issues and the resurgence of Thomas Rawls, I still think he's worth a gamble. Your recommendation so the find people up Rhado Experts was to draft Eddie Lacy. That was terrible advice, terrible, but I did draft Edye Lacy myself, so so you gave yourself terrible advice, and Mike, I think a lot of people did. Mike Kedam ranked is his rbe according to Rotal Experts rankings from last year,

which nine spots higher than the expert consensus ranking. Where did it lay finishes? Do we know that oh man here in front of me oh man, it was very bad. He did get the work early on, and then he was fat and hurt. And so let me ask you this, Floria, are you now buying everything you wrote? Last year kind of held true? Right Like they've gone away from the running game even though they want to get back into it. They brought in Eddie Lacey, which was a disaster. Thomas

Rawls was never healthy, so disaster. This year they did the other way. They use the first round draft selection on Rashand Penny, who I know a lot of people in the draft community are buying into you. Are you buying right back in Mikey to the Seattle running game? That's shot Penny. I do like Rashad Penny. I've taken him in the fourth round of some early drafts, but if he starts to get pushed up into like the third,

which I don't think it is crazy. I've actually seen him go in the third round, I won't be taking him there. There's other running backs that I do have ranked higher than him who go in that same area. But I'm not shying off of Penny at all, Like I have multiple shares with him already taking him in the fourth I think even early on. I might have got him in the fifth and one, but mostly in

the fourth round. Is my RB two e y Let me ask you, you know somebody that usually likes to be a bit more conservative in several last Max s Penny, rookie running back with Seattle. Is he somebody that you feel comfortable at this point you're draft prep drafting, I feel like a bit of it. I'm from the old school, so I don't feel comfortable taking rookies ever. But I mean, look at, like, like I said earlier, football has changed.

You know, like a lot of these guys are drafted early and they're expected to play, and they're also expected to play well. So you know, Chris Carson being there, I guess c J. Prosise could possibly still be a thing, maybe third down back or whatever. But you know, here's what we know about the Seattle Seahawks and Pete Carroll is it's a competition. The best running back is gonna play. And there's nothing that I appreciate more than that. You mean, like,

I love that. That's the thing they spend all that money on on uh what's his name, Flynn or whatever it was the Green Bay Packers or they spent all that Matt Flynn, they spent all that money, and then they bring in Russell Wilson. They got him later in the draft. He's short, he's this, he's that. No one's expecting him. And Pete Carroll said, look, he's a better quarterback and he's a rookie, and I don't care. He's gonna play because he gives us the best chance to win.

So I think that's the best thing for Rashad Penny. I mean, do we really believe that Chris Carson is a better running back than Rashard Penny. I don't think I believe that. And I think Richard Penny is gonna start. During the Power Hour Frank yesterday, which you can do, you have a chance to check it out. We had everybody we work with around this table drinking and talking football, and one of the PPR backs we didn't get to was Chris Carson. And we mentioned the ridic and we

mentioned Chris Thompson Chris Carson. We didn't mention, is there any hindrance for you drafting Rashad Penny because of Chris Carson. No. I have cooled a little bit. I know we when we did the Who's this year's Todd Gurley, I spoke about Rashad Penny um and I said, look volume Trump's efficiency, And I mentioned last year, six out of the top twelve running backs average four point zero yards for carrier less,

so not great in terms of efficiency. So even if the Seahawks offensive line isn't great, I think we're shot Penny can still be valuable. But you know, they're talking of Chris Carson more and more. I don't think that it's really I think, you know, they used the first round pick on Rashad Penny for a reason. I've lowered him a little bit in my rankings. But I think where Mike said, you know that three four swing, especially if you get him in the fourth round, I do

like that. I do think he's gonna be the main back on this team. Ryan Schottenheimer. As boring of an offense as you can get, they're going to run the ball there, or at least they're going to try. And I think it's gonna be with versus Penny. I'm not really sipping this Chris Carson kool aid all that much. Maybe he's in uh, you know, five to seven touches per games something like that. I don't think he has a significant role. Do you think Brian Shenheimer's signed Sean Green.

There's a chance you probably find him in like the CFL somewhere or whatever wherever Sean Green is right now, right, Yeah, I'll probably find a way to get him in there. Right there you go. Just breaking news Eric for you from Adam Schefter. The Titans have agreed to an extension with Delanny Walker. So what do you talk about extensively

on the program yesterday? Um? Eric, are you we we weren't sure about Delaney Walker if you can continue it right, like, keep it going being as solid as he has his entire career with your Titans. Do you feel comfortable drafting Delaney Walk? Yeah, I mean comprules I feel drafting any tight end around where he's gonna go. I mean, to me, he's He's Jason Witten all over again. There's no way the Delaney Walker, especially with the receivers that they have there,

is going to win you a league. That's not gonna happen. If you want to tight end to when your league, then you gotta take Gronk in the second round, or or Kelsey or or one of those guys. But Delaney Walker is steady. And look at if you're drafting, if you're a person that has to get a tight end. I mean all leagues have tight ends. Scott fish Bowl, you know, puts a premium on tight ends. Delaney Walkers as safe as it gets. He is the ten Tennessee Titans,

Jason Witten, he's the security blanket and he's reliable. Uh and and uh. I mean you can't really do much better than that unless you want to draft really high, right of course, unlessie want to draft the Zach Errs, Travis Kelsey, Rold Grenkowski, Teer, Frankie. Yeah. And I think you know the guys who spoke about yesterday, Jimmy Graham,

Greg Olsen, Evan Angram, Delaney Walker. That's really like the I would say round five through seven agreed riving six, those of the tight ends, and I said, no to me. Out of that group, to Landy, Walker is the safest. There's concerns over targets with the Giants, same thing with the Panthers, and then you don't know how Jimmy Graham's gonna work with Aaron Rodgers. So to me, Walker is the safest of that group. E Y sticking around. When we come back, we hit moving to the wide receivers.

Have some more surprises coming your way. And the wide receivers that Floria recommended the draft last year. Um yeah, we'll do that next. Michael Florio's final show as a member of the Fantasy best Friends Forever e y is. Here is your first

surprise of the day. Certainly more to come, excluding right now, as we have another guest on the line for you, Mike Florio. Guest say hello, Hello Florio. Hello, that's a great conversation you guys. Uh, Mike, you don't know who this is. He doesn't know who this is. Guest. I am. I thought it was Scotty Angle, but I I don't even say hello. It was the man that brought you to this company, that brought you to the Fantasy Sports

Network from just being a writer at roto Experts. He is the King, Scott Angel, host the Road of Experts in the morning, Scotty, what's up. Good to be with you. Guys. Had great fun last night. Uh, fortunately giving Mike as sendoff, but uh, you know it's it's uh, it's great. We're happy for him. We're also sad to see him go. Uh. You know, I feel for Frank Stamfel honestly, you know, I know we joke around a lot, but you know, frankin uh and Mike, you know, grew up together in

the same area in Queens. You know, there were schoolmates together, et cetera. And what a great story about how the two of them both started as interns and worked their way up at the ranks in our company as best friends, you know, both outside and inside the organization. And now there's a fork in the road and it's gonna split, going to towards Los Angeles, and you know, just I think, I think, I think Frank and Mike or a great

story and uh, you know Mike. You know, I've had a lot of people work for me, but you know, Mike was the one who like he never ever like you know, gave me, uh gave me any reason to ever be angry at him, you know, or like you know' to ever stress over when his article was coming, or uh, you know that he was gonna give me, give me some you know, some pushback on something like one of the best guys I would ever say I I'd ever work with. It's almost like maybe he's a long lost

son of Nando Davino. This is like changing the channel heat for me. I was like, there can only be coast man. You gotta hold down each coast. So Greg's got to move to the middle of the country. There you go. You think you did very you do very well. There I got. I got the middle of the country coverage. Alright, No one, no one's messing with me over here out of all of us going, why how you doing? Scotty. Scotty is also uh bff of mine. Uh is also responsible for for me uh coming in and doing the

the Fantasy Network draft. I think it was the very first time I spoke to him, and he talked to Mike Nando about me coming in doing some TV. So Scott's Scott's a good guy and he's got an eye for talent, doesn't he. I don't think there's a person in the in the industry that Scott hasn't hired that, you know. I mean you you, you guys, you guys earned it yourself. It's uh, you know, but it was interesting because, uh, you know, e Y was on Twitter saying he was looking for a fantasy you know, a

fantasy expert. Fantasy experts lead to get contacted. And when my my uncle who was a long time wrestling writer, Bill Apter, uh vouched for me with e Y and then we brought e Y in, and you know, even even Greg Sussman. I mean, like I remember, you know, meeting Greg Sussman on press row at Madison Square Garden, US, sharing dinners in the press room together, you know, and I got got a lot of fond memories about when

I first first met Mr Sussman as well. You know, It's interesting, um, Scott, because the talent that you speak of and this talent that that you brought in, uh, they had recommendations like this Jones is a polished route runner and pass catcher. He said the FBS record for most career receptions with three ninety nine and the most it see season one eight. I think he could be the weapon the Bills have been searching for opposite Sammy Watkins.

The three Bills leaders and targets with twenty sixteen or either gone or injured. While Watkins sees a ton of targets if he stays healthy, Jones should see his fair share. That was Mike Florio as a Homer recommending and say Jones, And I say one thing. I was a hundred percent wrong on Sat Jones. But there were multiple receivers you could have picked over him, like I was high on Martavis Bryant. I had him ranked highly. And I'm not done yet. I have plenty wad receivers here. Okay, keep going.

I wasn't done yet, because I was, I was, I was. I'm just gonna follow up, Mike, are you talking about this? That reports indicate that John Brown was dealing with sickle cell as well as assist on his spine last season, and according to reports, the siste has been removed, his medical issues are under control and he's looking like the brown of I am buying into this, and depending on how you draft, I'll take a shot on him as

my wide receiver. Four. Yeah, you could have built a very bad water receiver coler with some of these uh because martey Is Briant was wide receiver one. As you keep preferring to, I've named three, I've made four and five. Would you like to think the next one was? No, he's not even on this list. I had twelve. How about Jeremy Macklin, Joel Pryor was Eric? Yeah, there are bowload of targets now available in Baltimore. They lost Titan Dennis Pina, they lost Steve Smith, Kamar Aikin, Kyle Use

check screw over Sean Perriman. I think Macklin could leave this team in targets. I also buying the fact that it was her last year. I think listen to it. He could be a very safe wide receiver. Three And as of now, you don't need to pay that price, although I expect that's a climb. I can't even defend every everything with everything that you're reading here, you know, it's almost like you're priming him for his new UH position at NFL dot com announcing that now he's you know,

he's he's going to be a research assistant. And the way you were said making it sound that he needn't go to his research, well, we actually had an announcer for FLOORA was going Scott, but thank you. Okay, it's fine, it's not there's there's my first grew up of the day. There you go, Um, Scott. We appreciate you stopping by, um and we'll look forward to hearing you on Monday morning with Dana Rhodo experts. Yeah, and uh, you know, Mike, I wish you. I wish you all the best of

luck here. You're you're a great guy and you deserve all this success. And I've never heard anybody say a bad word about you, Mike. Do you want to say all these they used to Scott, the guy that brought you in. Yes, I was going to respond to him. I say thank you very much, Scotty. I would not be here without you, obviously, to be honor as an intern and then as a writer. And it was even Scott who called me and offered me this job here

at F and T s Y Radio. So basically every job I've and he was one of my references from my new job. I would not be anywhere without Scott Angles or Scotty, thank you very much. And on top of it, Scott killed it at karaoke last night, Yes he did. Scott was Scott was a superstar at karaoke last night. The Angles in general, yeah, they were the big winners of karaoke. I thought we did well. The oh we did great, Florio said, I brought you in, Mike,

I am your father. Now you're actually Sean's father is producing the program. To be fair, That's true. That just sounded better. There you go, Scott Angle, he is the king. You can hear on the roto Experts in the morning Monday through Friday, seven a m. Eastern. Also head on over to roto experts dot com. Use the promo code Frank the Tank, Frank the Tank, Frank the Tank and sign up ten percent off. Frank gets a little money. So please hook up Frank and go to roto Experts

dot com. The exclusive Edge Fantasy football package. Um e y, I want to get to one of the rookie running backs in Florio really like last year and see what you think about him this year. Uh. And that is the main one as he said, and that was Jamal Williams wasn't great last year. So there's another call Florio got wrong. Do you like Jamal Williams or Aaron Jones or Time Montgomery? How do you break down this Packers

running back situation? Eric, Yeah, I think it's a mess, uh, just like it was last year, because there's there's three guys there. I think without the suspension, I think Aaron Jones is the most talented. Uh. He can do everything and there's things that he can do very well. Jamal Williams is a guy that I like as well, but I mean he's a he's a straight head back. He's not gonna catch a ton of passes. Uh. You know, I don't think he's great out of the shotgun. I

think he's more of a bruising back. But he's going to get the start, I believe. I think Tie Montgomery will be the change of pace guy. Uh, and that won't change he was a receiver. Um. But I think Aaron Jones, like in basketball right now, he's a guy that you can get pretty late because people like go. I mean, it's it is two games, but it's only

two games. So it's a guy that you can kind of get a little bit like they're in beastball leagues that I think when he comes back, maybe not right away, but over time he will take over and will be the the main back in that offense. And we all know everyone in Green Bay is is worth something in the fantasy world. It's true. It's just what how much are they worth when you draft me? Frank yea, yeah, And I know we're here to like poop poo florio

and that's all good and fun for sure. Jamal Williams finishes RB twenty nine last year Mike had him ranks. It's pretty good. I'll take it. I didn't even know that it's pretty good. I just looked it up right now. And you know, I actually agree with what I was saying. I think Aaron Jones is coming at a huge discount right now. I think he is the most talented running back in this backfield. It could be a headache, for sure, but I love the discount that you're getting because of

the two games suspension. Plus we mentioned this on the Power Hour yesterday, Greggy. The Packers first two games are against the Bears and the Vikings. If Jamal Williams struggles in those first two games. When Aaron Jones comes back in week three, he has a chance to come back and seize that opportunity. So you know, Jamal Williams less than four yards per carry last year, Aaron Jones five point five yards per carry um. I think overall he

is the better running back. I would be surprised if he leads his team and touches from week three on. Once he returns, they're a different team though, right, Like, I mean, they didn't have a quarterback, so that you know they didn't the first couple of weeks. They barely even threw the ball, so it's not like they had to to respect the passing game at all. Having Aaron Rodgers there is maybe the best quarterback in football. I mean, you have no choice, but respect doesn't matter who's lining

up on the outside in the slot. That's going to create I think a lot of opportunity for the running backs. But I mean each week it's gonna be a dark prow. Yeah, it probably will be. And and you're right because it's annoing euy that you want on the pieces, all these pieces of the Packer offense. And remember last year I had the hell huge discussion about Time Montgomery and he went off in week one and we're like, wow, I wish I had more shares and then only lasted so long.

You won't pieces of this offense and it's just trying to find them. Yeah, And look, they're all coming at value right now. Like if we knew that there was an RB one on this team, they'd be going in like the third fourth round where Time Montgomery was going last year. But right now, Jamal Williams, you're getting him round six, round seven, Aaron Jones, you're getting him two rounds later than that Time Montgomery, you're getting for basically nothing.

He's dirt cheap, so you're not You don't have to pay a premium for these guys right now. And if you ask me, I think you know, Aaron Jones going in like that nine tenth round range is the best value, like your RB four, RB five, And I think the chance that he starts at some point, I think it's great value. I know he spend it the first two weeks,

but I agree. But before the suspension, when he was going like a little bit earlier than Jamal Williams, I was in on Jamal Williams there because I want whichever one of the two is cheaper, because I do agree with that these guys that you're gonna want one of the too, one of these two running backs. But I think the one thing that we kind of overlook with Jamal Williams, he was playing with Brett Hunley, Aaron Jones running with Aaron Rodgers, Like he said, two completely different scenarios.

In one they knew all right, first and second down, they're running the ball of Jamal Williams. It's a lot harder to run when you don't have space, when you have to respect the quarterback like they did when Aaron Jones was out there, it's a little bit easier. I think Aaron Jones the best runner of the three. I think is the best pass catcher. I think Jamal Williams

is the best of both worlds. That was Jake Seeley's point last year that Jamal Williams kind of do it all and he's the best in past protection as well, which matters a big It matters when Aaron Rodgers quarter Eric. Do you think there were rumors. I guess it's months ago now, but there are umors of time on Gummery would find a lot of his touches because as a wide receiver again and that they were going to move

him back and he do you believe that? I think that depends on training camp and what Geronald Allison is going to be. I think that's another guy that you can get super late that look like he could be the number two And if you're asking me right now to bet that's who I bet is the number two wide receiver there possibly look at I've never liked Davante Adams.

I think Jerar Millison could be you know, the one A, one B. So I think you know right now in Best Ball League especially like that's he's a value man and I've got him on almost every best ball team that I can do. Makes sense of the best ball team for sure, And I think listen to the if you're draft, there's worst players to take a shot on the Geronimo Allison. He's a favorite for the number three jobs. Yes,

what number one? He's being drafted right now, Greg, like in a DP sixty's you're kidding him because absolutely nothing. They've already said. He's gonna open up as the number three wide receiver. I think Randall Cobb projects more as like the slot receiver in this offense. But they run a lot of three wide receiver sets, so him over the middle and you have Allison and Davantae Adams on the outside. Again what I was saying earlier, it's not just with the running backs. You want as much exposure

to this passing attack as you could possibly get. And Geronimo Allison at wide receiver sixty eight, that is that is a great like late round, like one of your last round flyer picks. It is like a wide receiver five, wide receiver six. You know what I don't mind doing here, Greg, In the best Ball format, if you take Davanta Adams in the second or third, take Geronimo Allison with one

of your last picks. In case like an injury occurs or a concussion pops up again, Geronimo Allison slots in as like a handcuff wide receiver, especially in best Ball. So that that stemmed from that conversation stem from Mike Florio. Um really like Jamal Williams last year. Do you know who the second rookie running back you really liked last year was? No, there was Joe Williams of San Francisco. I don't think I liked him. You did. I'm reading it.

It says Joe Williams running back forty nine. The next one was good. It was cream Hunt, which was about you, and then last was uh some J P. Ryan. Yeah, yeah, I like Joe Williams a little bit this year. How come uh for me? I mean the running back thing, it just depends on how you're going to look at Matt Brita and I don't I mean, I think he's small. I think he's a third down guy. And McKinnon he gets hurt. I mean, you know, I mean he's always hurt.

I don't think he's a big enough guy to be a featured back, and we're going to make him the featured back. And I think Joe Williams is a guy that he does everything well. And you know, he's a guy that they look very high. He had an injury, I mean that's that kind of thing happens. But he's a guy that you can get super super late right now. And I think, you know, it could be uh, it could be a real thing, you know, Week four, Week five. I think Joe Williams could end up being a guy

who pops up on the waiver wire this year. We've already voiced our I want to say our displeasure with Jack McKinnon or you know, we're just all I want to say, we're down on him, and you know we're not really sipping the kool aid that everyone else is. I've not as far as to say, like, I think Matt Read has a chance to like take over the starting role at some point. He is a very small running back, but he ran well last year. I just think Jack McKinnon look a guy who hasn't done it before,

hasn't been a workhorse running back. I have concerns over him being drafted in the second round right now. I just there's no way I could get behind that. I think there's a chance that between Brita Joe Williams, one of these guys pops off as the backup behind h Jerck McKinnon this year. The thing I'll say to E wise point Joe Williams could potentially become like a goal

line back there. I don't think it's exactly he's rep read his way too small and Jerk McKinnon has never really done it in his career, so I know I get it he's a freak athlete, but I read something the other day that we're like, when he's playing in shorts and T shirt, he's one of those guys that just pops and he's great on every metric. Then you look at the metrics of him playing and it's not nearly to that same extent. So I, you guys know this,

I have a lot of concerns about McKinnon. Yeah, you know, before we hit the break, I want to get to smash p Ryan with the Redskins. Obviously it was terrible last year. They spent early round draft pick on Darius Guys, who people are again very very high on. We know how Eric feels about rookie running back. How high on the rookie running back list. I guess Mike is guys for you guys is well third because obviously Say Kwan

is one. I almost I almost forget him about Say because he's by default the number one rookie running back. I think I have Penny one spot higher than guys currently. Yeah, I have guys higher in standard and then in half point and full point PPR. I'll have ra Shot Penny ahead of him. But Darius, guys is my second rookie running back. I have him as RB fourteen right now, e y, I know you don't really like running well rookie play rookies in general because of your old school mentality.

Other than see Kawan Barkley. Is there any rookie running back that you do feel comfortable drafting? Yeah, I'm actually I'm pretty high on Darius Guys. I got him above Penny uh Sony, Michelle Kenyan, Drake, Royce Freeman, Um, Ronald Jones. I think there's a real opportunity and for him in Washington, and uh they're they're gonna want to lean on the running backs, and like and and Aaron Rodgers. He loved to throw to the running back, all right, I know, I mean, I know that. Oh my god, who can't

think of the other guy's name? All right, Chris Thompson. I can't remember Chris Stompson. Thompson, I know Thompson's there. But guys is the number one, I think, I agree, the guy that can get the tellsons. Alex Smith and Rodgers both love passing the running backs. Let's take a break, we'll come back. It's finals twenty minutes of Florio's career here in FC s Y. Let's talk about it. Surprises a whole lot more. Stick around. They know that you can listen to this show live on the award winning

You're trying to make you happy. That's where were going on in your terrible records last year.

Many Boys Radio Network BFFs Eric Young here, like Florio, Frank Staffle, Scott Angle just stopped by, and that leads us to our next guest, our final guest of the day. Uh, sir, Hello, how are you yo? What's up? How's it going? Maddie mo my man? What's up? We needed Maddie and Maddie move here and on the vff's on your last day, Mike. I wouldn't miss it. I wouldn't miss it. Uh, Florio, Sorry, I could make it to the last night. And it's a tough job to follow up on the King, that

beautiful basket that he is. But uh, it's an honor to be on on the last segment for you. Thank you, Maddie, mo Be and Maddie all go way back. I used to talk baseball with him on Twitter before I even knew him, before either of us worked here. So those way back, Maddie. While I'm excited for you, fantastic he lovel hopefully found his path. Man, go to l A Hawaii in Chicago, Like that'd be pretty cool. That's lived a hell of a life. It's been fun. It's been fun. Matt.

Why do we do have you for a couple of moments here? I have to ask, because you were you were the guy last year to me because I suppose to you every day. Obviously that was all about Kareem Haunt. Every draft you did, you did not care. Uh, you did not care when you had to take him. You were getting Kareem Hunt. Now, you also did that with Corey Davis, which we'll leave out for now, but Kareem Hunt was your boy. Who is that guy this year that you're going to make sure you have on the

majority of your teams for the rookie. As far as the rookie running back, yeah, I really like Darius Guys. I think it was you know, the draft stocked trumbled course of the interviews and maybe the issues and stuff, but this is a tremendous running back and tremendous talent, and uh, I think you know he's gonna get the opportunity. Chris Thompson is still there, but I think the Redskin team is gonna be a lot better than a lot

of people think, especially the offensive line. Very underrated offensive line that was banged up last year. But Darius Guys, I think gonna be the first and second down back just being on the field with Alex Smith. Alex Smith as much as he is, he'll fall into thirty thirty five receptions throughout the year. I mean, people thought Leonard Fournett couldn't catch the ball coming out of l s U. He proved people wrong. I think he could catch forty plus passes this year. Just being on the field with

Alex Smith. I love Chris Thompson this year. I think Chris Thompson's awesome. They could both were they could both be profitable players together. I feel the same way about the New England backfield. Great. You know. I spoke about birt head lands and even with the you know, like howe hold on to him and look were evening Da Lewis got healthy and he was the you know, the driving force there Birkhead when he got back, you know, And I think the same will happen with Sonny Michelle

and Birkhead. And I even like dio Lewis going to Tennessee. They paid him a lot of money. So I'm still on Patriot and ex Patriot running backs. I think a lot of people saying they don't want the headache, they don't want to figure out Belichecks. Look, this is a team that's gonna be one of the top scoring teams in the league. The running backs have done very well in the last couple of years, so I think it's

something you should be home good on. E Y. I know, New England has not been a source for you to go for the running backs. You've kind of been like, I don't want to deal with this. Has that changed this year for a team that you have to Sonny Michelle so early, with the success that Rex Burke had had last season, No, I'm avoiding it. It's a it's a mass. I mean, what's his name, the last name of Gray. I mean, he came out of nowhere, like who knows, who knows is gonna happen there? It's that's

It's the biggest dart throw of them all. And Bill Belichick is totally unpredictable. And I mean, like, look the Patriots, I think you know they score points every year. Um, you mean Tom Brady is a great you know, gron Kraski is great. But week to week it's a total guest. I mean, because they gain plan completely different every single week. They don't. They're not like just a running team or just a tight end team or just a passing team.

Each week. It's completely different. It's a dart throw for all those guys. And I don't want the headache. I just don't want it, so I avoid New England Patriots period to he was point. Remember last year after they beat the Patriots beat the Titans in the playoffs, we were talking about how even though they had a multiple touchdown lead, everything in the numbers said that the way to attack the Titans was to pass the ball, and they were still throwing the ball up like three scores.

So he's a percent right. They game plan to beat the opponent. They don't game plan for their strengths, and it will say if I'm gonna, I would like to just say, over the last couple of years, it's hard to stage back to talk about the fund stage backfield is usually one or two overall in fantasy pages have been right up there, and I know, I know the narrative has been ingrained so hard, and people don't let me look at what we Gotta Blunt did a couple

of years ago. We look at what Louis did, Look at what Burken these guys are going to you know, they're gonna tack the ball to you know, get rushing touchdowns. I just think it's something you shouldn't toss away talking about him mo here on Florio's last day. Man, before I let you go, I want to I do want to ask you one more question in regards to who you really like. You give us the rookies and Sony Michelle, Um and Darius Guys. Is here just the player this

year non rookie? Whoever? The guy that you've looked atter the first month ago and live here? Um? Who you really like? I mean, look, I think I'll throw him out there and we will pass him five real quick. And I think Samuel Watkins is a guy that once again, you know, I'm gonna be back in on the price is great there, but as far as another day that I was in a relationships got hurt and kind of fell out of the lips for a while, it's as

a fun days. I think this guy's talent is a nuts I think, you know, I think the possibilities for him, you know, he can finish as one of the best wide receivers in football this season. So I would I would. I know everybody's on feeling and feeling is fantastic as well, but I think there was plenty of room for Digs to climb up dot Lad. It's amazing he still like Samue Watkins even though he cut his dreads. It's wild, but you got to look at the situation is in

there you go. Maddie Mojica, We appreciate it. I know you're still on Giann Lewis because you never quit him either. M Yes, I'm still obviously, gentlemen, thanks for having me Floorial all the best to deserve it. And thank you Matt, Thank you, Maddie Moe. We appreciate the time. Fantasy best Friends Forever kicking it all. And yet another guest has joined a program, Florio. Another surprise. Sir, Hello, and how are you. I am good. How are you best Friends Forever?

We are doing well, Mr President, We are doing very very well. I am in Los Angeles as we speak. I spoke to Florio a couple of weeks ago, and I saw you guys do your U the karaoke last night, and it's just brought great joy, great far great joy. And listen, Florio is not only one of the uh nicest of men. But when you guys, the three of you, or three of the best fantasy baseball players in this country, and as you guys break up just a little bit, and one of your three you know, kind of lose

one of your three. I just I just want to say, you guys are are super fun and awesome, and it is noted that the glad bush is uh it is moving up. We are which the in THEDD league. No, don't put your shoulder off, Frank, it's it'll look disgusting, all right. I wasn't on camera for that as Ian count. Of course, who's leading our GDD league in a major, major way. I'll say this Ian, there's now a permanent spot open at this table for baseball. Well, yes, like,

when are you guys? All you're doing is football, and you know, I know my baseball is my is my failure. Wick, I'm not, I'm not doing football. But I did see listen. I just I I turned on Twitter. I just got back from slaying tennis here in beautiful Los Angeles and I turned it on and I saw you guys and almost like, damn, I want to get in and take goodbye to Michael and Tom. You know best depictions. You're gonna be awesome out here. You're gonna love it out here.

It's freaking the best. And yeah, well I'm back home in about two weeks, so I would. I would love to come in and see with you guys. Of course, the Fantasy Sports Network, the Fantasy Sports Network is is a little bit less now without Florio because he's a he's a mensch, as you know what that means, my fellow juice up and uh, he's mentioned a great player. So there you go. I just wanted to I wanted to send my regards as well. There you go. Thank you. Ian.

Then if you're ever back out in l A, especially during baseball season, we have to catch some happy hour baseball because I've been told that's the best thing about living on the West Coast. I'm telling you, man, you get to start watching baseball at four o'clock and keep watching till eleven. It's it is remarkably fun. But all my best to you guys. You guys are awesome. We appreciate it that I get to become a little bit, a little bit putty and show and I look forward

to having to see at the table again soon. Follow Ian Cohn on Twitter. He's Mr President, He's fantastic. He's always welcome by. There we go. It's Ian Cohn, the last guest that we're gonna have on today's program. Mike because e Y is still here and you I'm really happy you're here. Um, because it's time to give our our gifts away. It's like Florida, is that? Is it fair? Is it time? Frank? Yeah? All right, I don't don't we gave enough. Those are your birthday gifts. We have

your going we have your going away gifts. Now, you guys did way too much. So I'm gonna do this here. So our first gift. I know Ey really appreciates this because he likes it. Um, why don't you come here, flor what don't you Why don't you come to the real table. Let's let's come to the real table. Zoo out on the middle camera. I want you to be here with us, at the table where you belong. We're not bashing you anymore. We'll turn your we'll turn on on this Mike for you. So the first gift. And

I know again e Y truly appreciates this. But congratulations. We wanted to just take this to l A with you. We've got you old jar peanut butter. We know how much you love peanut butter and you you liked it on our show, so we got your whole jar. So you can take it with you. I'm good. I will donate this back to you guys more toy. Maybe you gotta take it. I don't think I've spent money on this, fine, but I don't think anyone needs more peanut butter than

the wine we'll give it. And it's probably true there is. I wish I could eat it every day, but I don't. Oh, hey, Maverick, is that his name? Yeah, Maverick says. Maverick says, uh, happy journeys and uh, and he looks ready for that. I was gonna be I was gonna lie and say, he's your birthday. But there's no way I can't quit them. That was the best, alright, Mike, So there you go. Um to Peter Putter if you and Nicolette in your apartment. Okay.

You know, we had a lot of requests for this in our YouTube chat today, so I wanted to make sure we got you your brand old bottle a baby oil you can take home you to lather yourself as much as you want in a brand new baby oil. I don't know if I'll ever use this, but it's great because Ryan McGarry actually acts. If I could think of three Kodak moments of the show, and two of

which were these ones. What was the third, Uh, I don't know, it's not really a part of the show, but being at n x T last year with us watching winning, that was one of the best moment. That was so cool. That was that was really cool. Unfortunately, not gonna be here when you guys here, so you can't come with this and star WrestleMania. I could be well, see why if you're on the card at Mania, he'll be here. I'll go fingers cross boys. Absolutely that that

would be remarkable. And now one of our favorite moments on the show. It was your anniversary, no doubt with Nicolette. He went on Facebook and You're just like, I love my hot honey. So here we go. We have gotten Mike Florio. He's a great cam this bed boy. We have gotten Mike Florio his own jar of hot honey. There you got change this camera, change cameras that one. There you go, We got of his own jar of hot honey. How's that? Mikey is great. Yeah, there is

a backstory to that. I didn't just call her my hot honey. There was a store called Mike's Hot Honey. So we took over front of it, and now you own your own hot honey. This is great. You live with Nicolette and you own your hot I'm going to keep this one, honey, he could get now. The final gift that we that we purchased inner, butter and honey together is maybe the greatest type team of all time. Greater than as you try that. I'm just it's literally

the best thing you can consume. You gotta try that now. I probably host toast toast toast butter, HOTEI spread it around with your finger, don't use a knife. Be a man. I'm gonna go home, and no jelly honey, No jelly honey is king? I want to try it? Seems like a peanut, butter and banana guy to me. I can see that. You see that, uh, Mike. So the final gift we have for you, who would you say your your favorite fantasy call of your career was you? Guys

know the answer to this. It's Blake Smell. Would you say it's Blake Smell? Because we got you a brand new cologne called Blake Smell. Congratulations, hilarious, there you go, enjoy it's also it is it is creak car no, no, no no, it's Blake smelling Blake, Blake Smell cologne. Mike Floria, Right, it's it's Blake Smell cologne that we got you to celebrate your time with us. It was your favorite call ever. I think it was it easily. Yeah, well can you turn it to the camera and they don't the chaos?

You know, chaos I think of y and whatnot. Alright, so Florida, we have officially three minutes left in the program. You know, I guess we can say goodbyes now. I'm never going to see you again. Great truly thinks I'm just I'm gone. He's not done. He's not done. He's just moving to l A. Greg thinks I'm he's gone. I don't think I'll talk to us anyway. I think it'll be you, Frank and I and that's the new

group probably like he's not welcome back on the show. Yeah, sure, Like you know, like in our text chat, which is like the four of us, it's only be three of us now, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, okay, you can't do that to me. I mean it is you don't have to do that. You can't write me off. I think we just I think we just did Floria. When we started the show two years ago. Now, we were like the fourth in Car in Cars, Incarceration in Car Nation of the VFFS, and I think this on

the one that took off. We used to we used to host multiple shows in this network. I always look forward to you this hour with you guys and with the e Y and and all our other guests. It was the most fun where we're gonna sit here. And whether we were getting yelled at on YouTube for not talking anything about fantasy sports, I didn't care. And I didn't care that Frank wanted to change the open every day, um,

because it was fun and just hanging out. We were able to have fun, all three of us together, and I think people saw the same people we were downstairs up here, And it was always my mission on the air was to be that to just hang out with my friends and talk sports or not talk sports, talk whatever you wanted to and people would like it and would you like it or you don't. I liked it, and that's the important thing here. Um, Mike, we're gonna

miss We're gonna miss you. Um and good luck man. Yeah, man, it's it's really surreal, man, Like last night traveling home drunk and I'm thinking about it, like we started on a website that we just made up on our own fantasy. On Dick, we do the research so you don't have to our slogan. It was just us two and another buddy of ours. We just loved fantasy and we started there. Next thing, you know, we end up Rhodo experts here.

It's just like it's crazy that, you know, you just start on your own blog and you can take it this far. Now Mike's going across the country. So that just shows you like you can legit make your own path and do anything. It's not just like a cliche thing like we legitimately did it and Mike is doing it too. So it is awesome, man, it really is. We have a minute to go, Mike, Flora's yours man. Uh,

the camera talks little, you know people. First of all, thank you, Greggy, because I know when I first started out doing this there was definitely a lot of growing pains. I feel like I've learned a lot from you as someone who you know, couldn't host the radio show, and I had no experience doing that really outside of hosting a podcast in Frank's basement. So that was awesome. Uh, Fantasy BFFs is more than just the name of this show.

You guys are more than just co workers to me, you two, e y. I think I don't want to be written out of the group chat. I wanted to continue to be in it. Uh. I love talking to you guys anytime, anything football, baseball, anything related. I'm always the one hitting you guys up. So I'm gonna miss doing the show tremendously. I'm gonna miss the chat. I'm gonna miss you Frank, You're gonna miss you. Greg. I'nna miss you, e y. And I hope you guys keep

killing in football season all right. For those watching on YouTube, stick around because they have a little bit more coming up. You're not gonna want to miss Leo's listening on the radio. Of course, Al melchior Fantis Baseball Hour is next for Eric Young, Ian Con, Matt Modique, Scott Angle, Frank Snaffle, and of course Michael Floria. I have Greg Sauceman has been an honor and a pleasure and fun
