Episode description

Sam Darnold looks amazing, Cooper Kupp looks heroic and Jordan Howard owners are in deep deep trouble. Gregg Sussman and Frank Stampfl break down everything that happened in week 6! Frank says he is thankful he only analyzes the games, and doesn't play, citing how he played flag football over the weekend, and ended up with as many injuries as a regular NFL player. Gregg and Frank consider the Dolphins the biggest anomaly, after watching Brock Osweiler beat down on a tough Bears defense. The guys question what happened to the Jaguars in Dallas, with Gregg thinking there is a conspiracy theory surrounding Erick Flowers. Gregg and Frank try to disect the issues with the Browns, thinking Baker Mayfield needs to find Jarvis Landry on shorter passes, and the offense needs to utilize the backfield outside of just Carlos Hyde. #FNTSY #NFL #fantasyfootball #Week6 #Dolphins #Patriots #Cheifs #BrockOsweiler #CooperKupp #AlbertWilson #TaylorGabriel #TarikCohen #Browns #BakerMayfield #JarvisLandry #TyrellWilliams

M Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Don too Yeah Jay the Fantasy best Friends Forever Here on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network alongside Frankie Stample. I am Greg. What's going on? Budday Reggae? What an expletive game last night? Man? Which explod? Want to use? What game? Is? Sure? It was fun and Brady, it was fun man, man, it did a game game

one game fun weekend. Um. I've learned that, you know, I should probably leave the playing football to the athletes because I played two hand touch that's all I played on Saturday. And my body is like broken today. It's like two days later. My hamstrings feel like string cheese. My back is broken, my ribs are like I learned, basically, just just don't play anymore. It's the thing I used to do like every Saturday week up earlier. I told you to do that because you know, we had our

fantasy basketball draft together. Want to hear that we were face timing four right before that. I was playing a little football. I'm banged up. Maybe we want to hear about it. Probably not all right? It sucks. Yeah, I had to play quarterback for my team. I mean, I prefer to play wide receiver. I'll do it all, do it all. Hey, I was looking at your God, I was looking at the picks last night. What did you pick the Chiefs out on Friday? I got them at

plus three and a half. That's something I did want to bring up today. These oddsmakers are amazing, amazing, dude. The Patriots were up by four points with like whatever five minutes left in the game. They kick a field goal, they go up seven. Obviously, the Chiefs respawned right away the Tyreek kills seventy five yard touchdown. So like, it

was just a roller coaster of emotions for me. Getting the Chiefs at plus three and a half, I'm like, all right, well, yeah, they're up four, Like you know, this is is probably gonna be the end, right, Like Patriots are gonna win by four, and I'm gonna miss out, you know on the half point right, boom field goal up seven, Bam. I'm like, all right, you know, give the Cheeks a chance. Boom, Tyreek Hills teventy five yard touchdown, tie game, boom. Patriots just sit on the ball and

kick a field going to win. And I was like, all right, I'm happy. I'm a happy camper. Was not to be happy about. Yes, I went to for two on Thursday night. So I actually so, I show the Eagles in the over for our official Ye, I went to in one in our picks. You didn't because I did, I don't think so. Yes, I had the Steelers, I had the Yes, I did. What would I have? You had Buffalo? Yes? I did both in Buffalo. You in

Kansas City. Okay, I got one wrong. You didn't. I went through and now hold on, I tried to do it last night to be prepared. You should have took my Miami Colpins like I told you. You went to. You did go to? You went. It was the Panthers. One that I got, I should have taken the Steelers. So what I've been doing every week now is like I'll place like four bets. I'd tell everyone I go to Jersey, I put my bets in. UM, I placed like four bets and I put like a small parlay

on all fours. It's like, you know, if I get everything right, then you know I have a really really great weekend. The one that screwed me this weekend was the Carolina Panthers. Yeah, against Washington or else, I would have hit on everything else I had. I had the two right on the on Thursday night game, I had the Eagles in the over, I had had the Steelers yesterday, I had the Bills obviously, and then I had the Chiefs last night. So the only one that screwed me

was the Carolina Panthers. But regardless, it was still a fun weekend for fantasy for for two hand touch football, for a fantasy basketball draft for the New York Jets, and then that awesome, awesome game last night which totally three points ridiculous, way over ridiculous. It was crazy. It wasn't even Sammy Watkins nowhere to be found, Nowhere we found it wasn't even ow Michael's. They brought it up, by the way, how did you do in your picks? And went to in one alight? They said, up Cincinnati,

So I'm com coming. I'm coming for you. Yeah, you're eating six or I'm sorry your seven and set an now they're eating so so I actually I keep tracking my my iPhone notepad of all the things that I placed bets on throughout the football season so far. Although I have not done great with you, which seven most your seven and seven? Is that right? That doesn't sound right. It doesn't sound right. Um, I'm actually eleven and five on the bets that had places. Okay, what am I

feeling is it's not right? How you're seven and eight? There we go, I'm made seven and you're seven and eight. That makes sense. I went to and what we both went to it one this week? I missed that Cincinnati. It was only missed. Wasn't I a game behind you? Last week? Right? We went doing one? All right? Even though I told you, like, we're not allowed to have the same picks. We are, dude, No, we're not. We both liked your picks. I make my picks a lot

of games to choose. You're allowed to have the same picks. Okay, what do you want to start? All right? What do we want to start? I want to start before we before we dive into yesterday's games, has been basketball team? Can we start? Can we just talk about Levan Bells. Well, he's supposed to report throughout the the bye week. There's you know, it could be any time throughout this week, obviously next week. There's been no sign of him, and over the weekend it was revealed that there's been no

contact between the Steelers. But we had this report a few weeks ago, oh that living on Bell according to some guy on ESPN, some Steelers be writer that he's going to be there. And you remember, if you remember at the time, I said, just because we have a report, does it definitely mean that it's going to happen? You did say that. I'm just saying. I'm just saying, So that's what you wanted to start. I think because a lot of people are, you know, waiting on Levian Bell.

I think I think it's I think it's a big story. Um, okay, great, I want to start with Chicago, but I'm also want to talking about Miami because I was a crazy game. I texted you, I really screwed this whole thing up. Man, I in one league. I just can get nothing right. You should have used the Seahawks defense, because I remember you telling me that. I woke up somewhere I was like, you know what, Greg, should use the Seahawks def. So the things that I wait up and just think about it, right.

So I had a lot of thoughts in my mind last night, none about this, but um correct. So I texted you around noon. I was like, dude, I cannot start with Miami defense with broadcast wild quarterback a lot of for a lot of that game, they looked pretty good. They did, they absolutely did, and then they didn't. Do they drop Miami? I was like, all right, do I pick up the Seahawks again and go, oh my gut? Or do they go with Carolina against Washington? Caroline's been

pretty good. Carolina versus Washington that was a mistake. I would have won obviously if I started the Seattle defense. I cannot get this right, so annoying. That's why you should have just drafted the Jaguars defense. You could start them every week, Greg, I guess, yeah, except against dek Prescott and the potent offense that is the Dallas Cowboys. That's when you think you haven't figured it out, Greg

Week six comes and slaps you in the face. I guess so frustrated the Dolphins though, Seriously, the Dolphins, Like I texted both of you as sister, you and Michael Florida. I'm like, how does anybody figure out this Miami Dolphins teams? Weird? They are like the biggest anomaly, like the biggest enigma of all time. How the hell do you figure out this Dolphins team? Because on paper, it's like, who do

they have? Kenyan Drake is their best player and he's in a timeshare with Frank Gore, who's like forty eight years old. You have Albert Wilson out here looking like he's Antonio Brown, scoring monster touches brock oswhile leading a miraculous comeback against arguably the best defense in the NFL. Are arguably? I mean they're up there. They're definitely top three? Your top three? Are they not? Three Bears? Defense? Is it? Okay? Who's better than them? The Jaguars are not playing well

right now? Jaguars are better defense? Are they right now? I don't know about that. They haven't. They haven't been great the past couple of weeks. Have they They look they look great against Sam Donald and the Jets. Okay, whatever, the Bears are top three defense, rock Oz the Osweler goes out there, just slings it all over the place,

nearly four hundred yards, three touchdowns. Again, it's when you think you have everything figured out, and the Dolphins are just a team that you will not be able to figure out weekend and week out. And obviously I'm ruining for them to lose every week because I have their season under at six and a half, so that doesn't look like it's gonna happen. But they're still a frustrating team for fantasy. Like even if you go out and

pick up Albert Wilson, are you gonna start him? Like there's just nothing to trust with the Miami Dolphins story. Sure cool. So yesterday, my my buddy always participates in the Million Million Maker, and every week he participates, aways thing is gonna win. Obviously last week, but yesterday he goes, I had this is it? I got girly in my line up. I'm Antonio Brown in my lineup, and I got my my sneaky play in there. Who's just sneaky

played dude a you know, a group chat. He has got a big feel about Albert Wilson today, and we're all we all just start losing our minds obviously, like Albert Wilson with brock Oswiler starting at quarterback against the Bears. Now, I gotta feeling like, all right, so he starts Albert Wilson, and I'm sitting with my friend in a holy crap like this is how you win a million dollars, Like you start a guy like Albert Wilson. The problem is he did start Albert Wilson, which is good. He also

started play off his lad up right now. Uh, he started Antonio Brown and Todd Gurley, as I said, But then oh, he took another shot. He went heavy on a team you really like Cleveland yesterday. Oh no, David and Joku Carlos Hide not hit and the Browns defense not hit. No, no mhm. So that was kind of an isshie. Yeah, anything else with that lineup? Uh you want to reveal or is that just the end of the story. That's very anti climate lost. I think you're like the Browns. Yeah, the end of the that was

the end of the story. Who is his quarterback? I don't know. He didn't like screenshot that part. Yeah, but that is how you win, right to take the shot on Albert Wilson. I believe it was the Draft Kings millionmaker at both Rock Goshwiler and Albert Wilson, which is you used it once. Like there are a few millionmakers where you look at the line up and you're like, I could figure that out, right, And then there are ones also where you're like, you know what, nobody would

have figured that out. This guy, I'm sure he had a hundred fifty lineups, so you just kind of thrown one anyway and see what happens. And he did it and it worked, and it worked out very well for Miami. He was saying, nobody can figure it out. I'm just wondering, like maybe the Bears aren't that good, right, Like maybe maybe that one wasn't that hard. You were all over

Miami defense for their defense is still really good. I told you had been on Miami yesterday, like you were all over Miami all week, and I thought you were mocking you right now, all yeah, and you know what, the line went crazy the other way did you see, like by the kind the game started was like they were they were getting seven points at home when Brock Osweiler at the quarterback, and it made sense he made a mistake and it made sense you should put Look,

I don't regret it, man, It's like you still still would have covered I mean they still would have covered it if it was still plus three and a half um. But just looking at like the running back situation. Obviously, you know Frank Gore fifteen carries in this game had

one reception, so sixteen touches. Saying you want about Kenyan Drake, it's very it's it's frustrating, you know, I thought after even want to go line he was never ever again, Yeah and ever maybe he won't, probably not, but and you know that was just I mean, the invisible man came and stripped it out of his hand, like what happened on that plate, So I think easily could have walked in. So I think it's a bad handoff. I don't think it was my Osweiler and he just never

had it. It seemed like he had it and then just kind of like whatever, Kenyan Drake still had seventeen touches in this game, So say that you want about I mean, he fumbled on the goal line. It's probably still just going to be a fifty split next week. But they faced the lines next week and they're really bad against the run, and Kenyan Drake's had seventeen touches. So I think Frank Gore is kind of playing himself

into flex discussion. What do you think about that? I agree, man, Everyone laughed at me when I picked Frank Gore at the end of the draft, every draft yourself included. We haven't on our GSD team, and I went. I tried to pick him up in my other leagues as well, just because he's getting he's getting used age. Man, I dropped on a few teams first hundred yard rushier against the Bears this season. Like he's playing well, annoyingly to us,

Kenyan Drake owners, he's playing well. And especially we're also exactly where we were at like Week four last year with Jordan Howard and Tree. Exactly where we are. I have people tweeting at me asking should I trade Jordan Howard for Tree? So now getting the same exact questions as we were last year. Nothing has changed. Great, It's amazing, But what scares me is that his other usage percentage or snap percentage has gone down each of the last

four weeks seven three offense has gotten better. Sigmund loom I retweeted it, Oh, maybe that's where maybe that's where I saw it from you. So Graham Barfield tweeted Jordan's Howard snappery over the last month. Sigmund bloom quote tweeted and said, and the effectiveness in the office is going in the in the opposite direction, correct, which is true. Is something you obviously have to worry about the way that this offense is built right now right and the

things that Matt Maggie wants to do. The rico and is better built for that. You know. The thing is, it's a simple eye test. So you can look at analysis, and you can look at data, and and that's great. You can let stuff like snap percentage look at the eye test. The offense is electric with Trico and on

the field. And I understand he's not necessarily a guy you won't running inside every play, but this office was moving with him on the field, and it looked like he was getting chunks of yardage every time he touched the ball. It seemed like ten yards every single time he touched the ball. Well, Jordan Howard like ran pretty well out of the day when he when he had opportunities,

he didn't look bad. He just look a lot slower when he is than to Rico And and obviously he also builded all the goal line this or and you look what they want to do in that offense. There are a lot more quick, hitting up tempo when they have Treco and in the game that I mean that obviously makes a lot of sense. Do you want this offense to be bogged down when you have Jordan Howard who it's it's pretty much doing his job right. Like he's rushing for you know, four yards to carry like

fourteen carries about seventy yards like he's doing fine. But Treco and five carries thirty one yards and a touchdown. That's six yards per carry. He's targeted nine times, seven receptions ninety yards. It's just that element that he brings. It's different than Jordan Howard, and I think that is more so what the Bears want to do right now.

So for those asking that question, if you play in PPR leagues and you have that offer on the table, I would rather have treco And right now than Jordan Howard and I know said last year, and there were weeks where like it didn't work out, like Jordan Howard ultimately ended up being more effective than Tarrecohen, but that's because John Fox and the Bears coaching staff from the last year didn't know how to continue getting trek And involved once teams had tape on him. They didn't know

how to do it. I think Matt Naggie and the offensive minds that they have now know that, Okay, even if teams look at what we've done with Tariko and they'll figure out more unique ways to get him involved, so he's not just going to be bogged down like he was last year, or his usage is just gonna start to you know, dissipate. I do think that in this offense and with what they're trying to do, Tariko And probably makes more sense. And it was for Jordan Howard.

Tariko and snap split. So again things are training down for Jordan Howard and training up for Tree Cone the PPR. I'd rather have Cohen listen. I completely coletly get it, and you can, like in standard you could probably make the same argument because how many touchdowns. Is Jordan Howard scoring. He was very close. He scored one touchdown this year. He was very close yesterday and that was in Week

three against the Cardinals. He was very close. Yestay having averaging three and a half yards for carry this year. It's not working for Jordan Howard Man, it's not so good. So in l A yesterday or in Denver yesterday, I was very nervous, Frank because in my home league, where I was three and two coming into the week, I lost Calvin Ridley earlier in the day. No, it seems that he will be okay, nothing is serious, and they have a Monday night or this week and then they're off, so you'll have some time. I lost Calvin Ridley,

and then I thought I lost Cooper Cup forever. Like red zone flows back and I just see this dude on the ground like that kind of looks like Cooper Cup. I literally just saw like a little piece of the eight and like his leg and I'm like, I I think I think that looks like a man, Cooper, And then they said it and then I saw it. I was like, this is he just tore his achilles. I'll never see him again. And I'm thinking, how much you have to spend on Josh Reynolds. What am I gonna do?

And then we started the second half and they cut the red zone again and there's Cooper cup just running in motion and I'm like, all right, so they're showing you replay with him getting hurt. And then I see the bottom it's like third quarter, Like what is happening? It's I. I did a little dance. I started selling raining and then I read that he barely played in a second half. But I was just happy to see him running around and and being Okay, he's alive, and well,

I couldn't believe it. Frank, somebody upstairs is looking at for Cooper Cup man and his his his NFL career and all of his fantasy owners for the rest of the season. Obviously, this was a this was a tough game for him and and you know, in weeks six for his fantasy owners. But just be happy that he's you know that he's looks like he's gonna be healthy and he's gonna be good to go. Obviously, we'll we'll learn more about that, but it just be just be

excited that he's not done for the year. Obviously, Robert Wood stepped up in his absence, or you know, Robert Woods ten ten targets, seven receptions, a hundred and nine yards. Brandon Cooks not as good as he's been, but I'm sure you can blame some of it on the weather it being super cold in Denver. Um. Todd Gurley was Todd Gurley, though, I'm sure you're just happy that Cooper cups. Okay, Yeah, listen,

Robert Wood is awesome. I stand by that. I knew that coming into the year that he was in a wide receiver too, Frank, I pushed that as hard as I possibly could. I love Molly Woods this year. Um, he's awesome, and he did step up yesterday, but no more nobody stepped up more than Tod Gurley, who had a career high in rushing. And this is not only

gonna target Denver's rushed the events. It just got awful. Yes, and it's David Johnson on Thursday night this week in a short week, terrible, terrible, game to watch, honest, but David Johnson could be very very effective. Maybe we get a game where you know, he averages more than like three yards per carry or whatever. I don't think we will. I saw a stat yesterday about how the Cardinals are on pace to run the fewest amount of offensive plays.

I saw that in a season, no team has run fewer than nine plays in a like in the NFL season, and they're on pace to like run eight hundred. And it's bad. Man. This Mass Joseph thing is is bad. That's the Cardinals. Greg Well, I'm not just talking about Denver. Oh yeah, well yeah, I mean, look, they're running games bad too. Yeah. The Broncos run game is terrible. I mean a lot of people are asking, now can they drop Royce Freeman. I think we're getting pretty close. Yeah,

it's interesting. I was doing. I was watching the games my buddy yesterday and he's like a Royce Freeman owner. I think I'm just gonna drop this guy. I was like, I'll take him. Yeah, But like nobody, it's not like anyone else on the team did anything. I mean, Phillip Lindsay four for eighteen, Devontae Booker two for fifteen. Um, the receivers were good, and you know, I thought that to Marius Thomas would have another good game and that happened.

But I think now is the time to try and sell him coming off two games in a row where he scores a touchdown, could still kind of sell him based on his name value too, So I would just shot to Marius Thomas around, like if you could pull I don't know if you could do this, maybe add someone to to Marius Thomas and try and trade for Jarvis Landry because he's obviously a by low Right now, Jarvis Landry is getting double jugit targets week in a

week out, but just hasn't been converting them for Fantasy points. And his schedule is about to get really really good. So if you can turn to Marius Thomas plus like another said player for Jervis Landry, that's something I would look into doing. Um, But Emmanuel Sanders was good. The same way that we're targeting the Broncos secondary now, I mean the Broncos defense for like rushing attacks. I think we're targeting the Rams defense every single week for wide

receivers because obviously the Rams offensive superpotent. They play from ahead in a lot of games. So those other teams that are facing them are trailing and are going to be throwing the ball to try and get back in it, and without a key to lead, their secondary is just not the same, Greg, No, it's it's not. They are burnable as well. And you saw it yesterday. You saw it yesterday with Shasta Imanuel Sanders. As you said, Frankie, Um,

it's not the same. It's not the same, which to me is great for us because that means people score points against them and well the Rams not the score more. And when you go to den when you go to Denver talking about their secondary, they're even just is atrocious advanced Joseph and that system that they have that they have put together that doesn't work. That Joseph is a goner. Denver playing Arizona on Thursday night, that system is a disaster.

Although I picked at the Arizona defense by the way, for there the night, who wants to lose more? The Cardinals are the Broncos. I put the ore. I pick up the Arizona events yesterday morning in preparation. But there's inivable where's that game? Is an Arizona Denver? I'll look it up for you, pulling up the Broncos schedule right now. That is in Arizona. Job, Greg can be low scoring. I love it. I wonder what the I'm sure they already have odds out for that game. I bet the

totals like that was weird. Yeah, we were like, we're into vodka, best friends forever. M hm um. So we were close with the with the Cardinals two and a half point home dogs already, So that's interesting. Yep, probably on the Cardinals. Yeah, I don't know. It's just like a gross game. But I'm sure you need something invested in that game in order to watch it. So I don't know. It was the NBA schedule looking like Thursday. Oh whoa little NBA acction, Greggy, I'm back man. Yeah,

that's a good question. We sure we usually have like the T n T primetime games. We have three. We got three games. Let's just on the slate, all right, So T and T. We'll get the Bulls and late one is the Lakers in Portland, which is fun. We do we have anybody on these teams? Uh? I don't think so. And then the Miami Heat and Wizards, which is not tell So this is terrible here. So let's like, if we watch David Johnson go up against the Broncos, it looks like I will be saving this week's Halloween

Baking Championship until Thursday day night. Come on, Greg, I'll do that, Dude, this is I don't have to watch sports Man. We got baseball playoffs. How about Jamis Winston? How about Jameis Winston? Him ranks of the top five quarterback. Obviously I didn't have him ranked number one. Finishes number one right now, the number one quarterback, number one quarterback. And you know I did a few bad things yesterday, bad tweets. You haven't called me off for bad tweets lately, Well,

I had a bad one yesterday. Um. I tweeted out the picture of Ryan Fitzgregor, it's Patrick and in the in the get up, I was like, can we just get this guy back because we like need fantasy value.

But it was like the first drive James marched down the field or a touchdown to Cameron Brake, which we knew it would happen, obviously, um, and then nothing for like the next two and a half quarters, and then we get a bunch of Jameis Winston like the fourth quarter, which obviously ended up saving his fantasy day and a lot of other people's fantasy days. Uh not Mike Evans, which kind of sucks, but yeah, Jamis Winston, Uh, just

typical James Winston. Throw for a ton of yards, through for a ton of touchdowns, still throw to costly interceptions and James Winson. And also like Jameis Winston first first touchdown of the game, Cameron Bright like, oh great, Cameron break game didn't have another cat for like the rest of the game, and not getting the ball Mike Evans. Yeah, it's just like the one thing we need you to

do is give the ball to Mike Evans. Obviously, the run game here was was still a lot of Peyton Harbor saw the majority of touches, even had a receiving touchdown in this game, something we haven't seen a lot of from either running back. To be honest, between Ronald Jones or Peyton Barbara, they haven't had a lot of pass game work between those two, but yeah, Peyton Barbara dominated this game. We were wondering, is it gonna be Ronald Jones coming out of the bye with him and

Jamis Winston kind of starting off together. Did not happen, Greg, No one did not. By the way, unrelated going back to Robert Woods conversation, the only wider series have more Fantasy points than Robert Woods. That comes from a tweet from Mike Clay Adam Feelan, Tyreek Hill, Tony Brown, and Julio Jones and then Robert Woods not five wide receiver advantage football Adam Celan, Tyreek Hill, Tony Brown, Julio Jones, Hula Jones doing it with how many touchdowns break zero?

That's crazy. Zero Top five Fantasy wide receiver with zero touchdowns in the first six weeks of the season. The guy might go for two thousand yards this year no touchdown? Unbelievable, man, how fun would that be? Not fun? Peyton Barber thirteen rushes for eighty two yards, So the efficiency was there. This is just this is the hapless Falcons defense. That's

basically what this was here. Start all running backs. Like again, coming into this game, the Bucks could not run the football for anything, and what the Falcon struggle with is allowing running backs to catch the ball. And that's exactly what Peyton Barber even did in this game. So it was continued to stream running backs against the Falcons. Even after this week, I don't have a lot of faith in Peyton Barber. I don't have a lot of faith in Ronald Jones Chris Godwin go though a player was

only his owned in less than sixty percent of leaks. Still, and I asked you guys yesterday, I mean, I was going back and forth, and then should I start Isaiah er Well? Should I start Chris Godwin? It honestly might be the difference between a win and a loss. Because I'm up thirty one, I'm going against Aaron Rodgers and Alfred Morris to night. It is four point passing touchdowns, so I have a chance. But I believe Karwell put up seven or eight points and Chris Godwin ended up

with That might be the difference. See the highlight on ESPN behind us Tyree Hill stupidly game fast like I've never seen that before. He should have been tackled easily. The thing from the Patriots perspective there, how do you let Tyreek Hill get that wide open in the middle of the field. There wasn't no but on the last touchdown, like suld have seventy five yard touchdown, right, there wasn't anyone within ten yards of him. It's Tyreek Hill. It's

the one guy you can't let beat you. It was the same exact thing we said last year when he scored that touchdown, that miraculous touchdown before the end of this uh the first half against the Dallas Cowboys were they just pretty much like through a short pass Tyree Hill and they're like, all right, whatever, just like run out the clock and he scored a touchdown. The same thing happened yesterday when you're up by seven points. It's just I don't know, I don't know what this. I

don't know what the Patriots were thinking. But yeah, kudos to Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, the entire Chief's offense. Uh. I wish, I wish Kareem Hunt could just play the Patriots every single week an one last year six that was something. Also, you know, I think about Grace Usman a lot when I when I when I wake up in the morning, I'm like, there are a few things that Greg was right about this week. The Seahawks defense over the Dolphins. Yeah, you're right about that. Kareem Hunt.

A couple of weeks ago, I brought him up to kind of worried because at that point. I remember three targets through three games. Over the next three games, Greg Kareem Hunt has eleven targets, so they're you know, they just they got right, they figured it out, they're being smart with it. I was just worried that exactly for now.

I was just worried that with the with all the receiving options in the downfield style of Patrick Mahomes, that they weren't going to throw the ball all that much of Kareem Hunt totally got it, but they're getting him more involved in the past game. I don't completely regret trading basically Kareem Hunt for David Johnson and Julian Edelman,

because those are two helpful, helpful pieces. At some point, I might regret that when I so, I was watching watching a lot of football obviously over the last over yesterday, and Kareem Hunt in Melvin Gordon, who went like seven eight ish in the first round. Those two guys are still two guys you can finish number one overall. And I said that, we said that during the pre drack process, like both of those guys have that ability. Maybe Melvin Gordon's were in the offense for him, and maybe he's

a guy. Like, why aren't we taking Melvin Gordon in the top five? Like, why aren't we doing that? The thing is next year will be the year that we finally figure it out, and then that will probably be the year that he lets us down. Did we pick up Nils Paul last week? Wasn't that a thing? Yeah? I mean we just needed insurance in case Grank didn't play our insurance, uh, spraining his MCL. He's gonna be

out for a while. Alright, Well, you know, it's an extremely deep league where the tight ends are very bad, so I don't really regret it, but I'm sure we'll just be dropping Nile with Paul. Thanks for the Nile Paul update here. I was using it to get into the Jaguars. It was called the transition Frank, and to make fun of ourselves first. But that's fine. We still own Dez Bryant that lead because Frank will let me drop him. But anyway, tell tell me who we're going

to drop him for. I think we dropped Albert Wilson last week, though I think we did too. We said start, we started telling Gabriel, who's awesome? This did Gabriel, He's a thing. He's a real thing over yards again, what's going on with the Jaguars here, Frankie, Blake Bortles got destroyed yesterday. The Jaguars in Dallas lost forties and seven, terrible on the road. On the road. Dallas is really good at home, and I think we need to understand

that now. And something's all with Jacksonville. Maybe they need to start Eric Flower. Maybe that's what it is, Yeah, so that we can get Blake Bortles out of the pocket more because you get more rushing production out of Blake Bortles. Because in that same league where I told you I'm up by thirty one, I'm facing Rogers. I had Blake Bortles in that game, and every single time we got the ball, I'm like, dude, just give me some garbage time Blake Bortles production. And it just didn't happen.

Greg the guy finished with a hundred and forty nine yards, a touchdown and interception. They couldn't get anything going. It's a credit to the Dallas Cowboys defense. And I liked the Dallas Cowboys defense as a stream. I brought that up last week. But it's also just the Jaguars, like Blake Bortles. This guy's whole career is just a roller coaster ride on a week league basis. You never know which Blake Wordles you're gonna get. You never you never

know which play calling you're gonna get. Why can't we just get the Blake Bortles and the play calling that we got in like Week two or Week three, whatever it was against the Patriots, because they got it that week. They understood, like Nathaniel Hackett got it. They put their foots down, they were passing, they were being aggressive, they were, you know, using their wide receivers in creative ways. Um, you know, t J Yelden I think I'm not gonna say t J Yelden is technically a better fit for

this team than Leonard Fournett. He's not. But Leonard Fournett is like a very like North South runner. He's a break tackles kind of guy. Teldon is very elusive. He can catch the ball. He adds a diverse element to this team. I just don't know what happens in these games. Were like Blake Bortles forgets how to play football, and everybody around him just forgets how to like call a game.

Credits to the Cowboys defense, but there's just an incredible amount of inconsistency weekend and week out with Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars wide receivers continue to remain a mystery. Dallas does not. Cole Beasley stepped up yesterday, had his best game in years for Dak Prescott, and this Cowboys team is cold. Beasley worth picking up Frankie probably just because there's four teams on by heading into next week, and four very crucial teams to the Steelers, Packers, the Raiders

and the Packers. So we're gonna be without a lot of wide receivers. Do do Antonio Brown, Davontae Adams, m vs Geronimo Allison, Tyler, Lockett, Doug Ballin. Lots of wide receivers gone next week. So with that being said, I think Cole Beasley is gonna be an ad by the way. So on Judy's team, her three starting wide receivers or Antonio Brown, Juju and Damante Adams and rr R B two is marshawn eight team league play with Daniels ten team. It's intensive league. Her team, her team is good, but

she started a tough lost yesterday. Gainst the number one team, so she's she gets really angry. She she gets really really had a vision. I don't I don't think this happens in that accusing Judy of like domestic violets. But I could just see Judy getting mad over like fantasy football. It's like beating you. She yells at verbally like it's like throws. She keeps telling me she's like a block of cheese at you, and you have a lot of

cheese in your house. We just post me yesterday. She's engaged with a fantasy expert, Like why does she lose? I go fantasy experts. I show her my team. You don't want another team, but I want to talk about when we come back, trade Beckham for like John Brown and like a bunch of players don funches. One of them these scored. The other one is actually what I want to get into NAPS and that's in Cleveland Baker

Mayfield with Jarvis Landry and the Browns. Another wide receiver that I gotta ask Frankie if we need to know who he is to stick around more NFL Week six reaction code Up next, Fantasy Best Friends Forever, Fantasy Sports Radio Network. of da dot com, Daily Rodo dot Com. I'm in first place in our fan duel. Did you realize that you weren't last time I looked. I am number one right now, and what I did was I ran the optimizer. I legitimately like checked off all the games that were like over fifty game total. I was like, I want players on these teams obviously, okay, and I basically took their line up that they had and I made a few changes weeks which were Sammy Watkins and Miami Dolphins.

So basically the things that I added contributed to the optimizer were terrible, but the optimizer got everything else right. I had James Winston, Nice, Evin Coleman, Okay, whatever, you scored a touchdown, tie Mixing, great, Leo Jones, great, Tyler Boyd great, can't remember it scored a touchdown, whatever, Todd Gurley, that's Tyler. I'm in last, which is great. I'm gonna I'm gonna go out and say that you didn't have Todd Gurley. No, you know what's annoying. A lot of

the players you mentioned I had, like I had. I had Austin Hooper, I had temp, I had Tevin Coleman, I had Jamis Winston, had the Chicago Bears defense in the same game. Here's where I went wrong. I took more Shawn Lynch in Revenge game. I thought that would go well. I had um Sammy Watkins as I mentioned really like Will Fuller yesterday that that was poor um Ajan Green. I was in the big game yesterday, Tyler boy didn't stead poorly. Frank No, we don't do this often.

We we often, you know, call ourselves out for making mistakes, Greg because I think that's probably like a good way to live, right, Like we should hold ourselves accountable. What I did say last week, I did not like to Shawn Watson, and I had him ranked lower than the consensus. So I'm gonna go ahead and give us a little pat on the back for that one. Bells your John, Frankie, good job. The Cleveland Browns and my buddy had and his million millionaire maker. It didn't work and they got

stopped by Francs. Lost Angeles Chargers. They're on a roll, Greggy. Now Los Angeles super Bowl put in the books. No, it's gonna be it's gonna be like the Super Well, I've rejected the Rams and the Chiefs. How much fun with that? That? Would? You know what? Totally fine for that to happen, like if that's the case, but you know, seeing a Chargers Chiefs game again, like a rematch in the playoffs would also be fun. I believe Chargers Chiefs

not really interested. Chargers Chiefs hatch Chiefs in the quarterfinals, and then we get Patch Chiefs and said me finals like the NFC Championship, and then the A and then and then the Chiefs Rams. Super Bowl? Interesting where the Rams win? Because I obviously have money on them. Sure you have money on them? Do I get any of that money? Right now? My buddy is like a pool yesterday. Who did you have as your preseason Super Bowl prediction? Rams, Chiefs?

What did you actually? Yeah, I'll pull I just closed them, pull it right back up. Did you have the Chiefs? Dude? You know I love the Chiefs. Like the Chiefs. I know you had their over on the season. I have Rams over Chiefs in the super Bowl for real? All right, it's right there, you go get Rams Chiefs. What else do we have over here? I'll look at that. Did you have Rams over the Chiefs? Your NFL m d P was Philip Rivers, min was Aaron Rodgers, not of

which Rivers has been very good. I'll get you talk girl. At this point, we both took Sequon Barkley as the NFL Rookie of the Year. I thought the Giants were the NFC East. That seems gonnastake NFC least like I had the Cardinals making the water. Yeah, they're gonna win the the vision. It seems wrong. I have the Texans and Ravens cards. What seems possible. Texans, No, they're a bad teams. Good, definitely Division I. The Steelers, I don't know.

The Bengal of Bengals are good. You're the Titans and Jaguars and wild Card you also you have three sound um your Falcons are wild Cards again, No, that's not gonna happen. Everything else is pretty good. Were you doing all right, Frank? It's pretty cool. The Browns, all right, it's kinda the Browns. So what what's going wrong here? What's going wrong with the Cleveland Browns? With Baker Mayfield?

I realized I lost some weapons. You're certainly Josh Gordy and Rochard Higgins and we thought they had had a Jokey would step up score Touchton yesterday? So he did. That was good. All targets, back to back games, double digit targets, very strong. Jarvis Landry disappeared, Antonio Callaway kind of disappeared, the leading receiver, the doubt for the Cleveland Browns yesterday. He was like signed a week ago. His name Damian Ratley six eight two eight targets yesterday. I

really like do Johnson picked up everywhere. I told you that this week bad four or seventy three wasn't a little that muchly five times, but okay, that's a big key. They have to get it more involved. What's going on Cleveland? Frankie Well, I think obviously it all starts at the quarterback position with Baker Mayfield. And you look over the last three games. This was a guy who the most accurate passer in college football history the past three games

greg forty seven point eight percent completion percentage. That was yesterday twenty two forty six not great against the Ravens also a tough matchup, but twenty five or forty three that's a fifty eight percent completion percentage. And then against the Raiders in an overtime loss, he threw the ball forty times only completed twenty one fifty one two percent completion percentage. Over the past three games, Baker Mayfield has

not been very accurate. Now, that could be a combination of the offensive line not playing well, uh teams throwing exotic blitz is away. He is a rookie, so obviously they're gonna find ways to make his life uncomfortable. But honestly, Baker Mayfield has not looked great over the past few weeks. And we look at the targets for in Joe Couli get the targets for Jarvis Landry. We continue to talk

about that every single week. But to be honest, besides in Joeku scoring, you know, having seven receptions and scoring a touchdown in this game, everyone else was not efficient. And Jarvis Landry the past couple of weeks, Yes, he's been getting targets, he's not been efficient. He had nine targets in this game. He had two receptions for eleven yards. Antonio Callaway, mind you, I mean he had some drops in this game too. Ten targets, two receptions, nine yards.

There's a lot of inefficiency right now with the Cleveland Browns and Damien Ratley. Honestly, I didn't know the guy's name before yesterday when I was watching I was flipping through a few like pregame shows yesterday and I was watching the Fantasy whatever on ESPN, and Mortenson Chris Mortenson

brought up Damien Ratley. He was like, this is my fantasy is super long, crazy, and he's like, he's gonna be targeted like seven or eight times to because the Cleveland Browns have been talking him up throughout the week. You were targeted eight times. He had six receptions for eighty two yards. So I think he's a name that's on our radar. I think in deeper leagues we might be looking at him just as like a sleeper ad because there hasn't been a number two wide receiver to

step up for the Cleveland Browns. But there's inefficient quarterback play right now. Um, the play calling has not been great. I know some people have been criticizing Todd Haley. Um, they haven't been able to run the football effectively. So all those things kind of coupled together are going to lead to an offense not playing very well right now? Am I gonna regret taking a Baker Mayfield and not picking up James Winston? Yes? I don't know about that.

Why not about that? I think James Winsons will be overrated this week because he faced Atlanta Like that's a that's a perfect match. A man, Here's I think it's you just look at it from a game flow perspective. The Cleveland Browns defense, although they did get she lacked in this game, they allowed thirty eight points. Pretty good. Their defense is good top three going No, they're not top three. Didn't say top three. They were top five

fantasy scoring defense last week heading into Week six. There's still a good defense. I still trust their defense. They're gonna be in lower scoring games than the Bucks are just because of game flow. James winston Ant offense is terrible. It's gonna be a lot of you know, garbage time, him playing from behind, having opportunities to throw the ball. So that's why I think it's Jamis Winston in a landslide,

and it's not going to be very close. The way that they're using Jarvis Landry right now playing on the outside, they're using him in that Antonio Brown roll from the Steelers offense. That's what that was, Todd Haley's offense that he ran. They're using Jarvis Landry in that role. Is it fair to say that, you know, maybe he was just better in his in his Miami Dolphins role. What he was good at being a slot receiver, you know, catching a lot of passes at the line of scrimmage

and making things happen after the catch. We're not seeing that this year. I know, you know. Air yards is something that's being criticized here on the network right now, but Jarvis Landry has more air yards this year than like he's ever happened. They're targeting him down the field. Maybe they should use him in the ways that he was successful and that's a lot of shore passes and

letting him, do you know, do things after the catch. Yeah, it's been a bit of a disaster for Jarvis Landry over the past couple of weeks, just one touchdown on the year, and I'm nervous and I like Baker Mayfield, this Ratley character. Is he worth picking up? I think in deeper leagues he's on your radar um just because no number two wide receiver for this team is stepped up. And I know you mentioned that you like Caloi because there's gonna be usage there because Richard Higgins is out.

Makes sense and the opportunity was still there, but only converted two of those. And that's a lot of what we've seen out of Caloi this year. It still looks very raw, has a lot of things to to learn to excel at the NFL level. I think this Ratley guy is at least on our radar. He could be like an end of the bench kind of pick up in deeper leagues for sure, and your standard like twelve team five bench spots probably not okay? Would you rather own Damian Ratley? It was like saying that. Or Tyrelle

Williams same game yesterday. He had amazing He had one amazing drive. He had like a forty five yard reception and then like a thirty yard touchdown. It worked out well. Those are two of his three catches, three for one eighteen. That's it. Mhm, who'd uther knowing rightly? Or with Tyra Williams. I think I'd rather own Tyro Williams, But honestly, I'm not rushing to get either. This Tyroll Williams reminds me

a lot of Robby Anderson from a week ago. Like didn't do it on a lot of targets, had a lot of long catches for the He had the two touchdowns over a hundred yards, but its usage has still been very inconsistent a weekend a week out. Keenan Allen is still gonna be the top target getter. They target Melvin Gordon a ton this year out of the out of the backfield as a receiver. Um, so I don't love either. I'd probably take a shot on Tyro Williams

just because I think it's a more efficient offense. Neither of the more up to Sampa offense, so neither of them will highlight your waiver or wire guys for tomorrow. I have to look at two matchups because again with those four teams on a buy like one of these players might end up being a streamable player. The Chiefs are going up against the Titans at nine thirties, so that's probably a London game, I'm assuming, And the Cleveland

Browns are going up against the Tampa Bay Bucks. So if I'm gonna take you shot on one of probably rabble and that's assuming Chard Higgins is out. Hen keep wanting to call him THEO Ratt Left. That's a blast from the past. He's usually a pretty good fanasy player. Tyroll Williams, Greig Mike Williams. Is he droppable? I think he is sucks man. It looked like it was happening

and then in any of the season. But to be honest, the way that the charges are playing, they just don't have to throw the ball all that much like the way Melvin Gordon. And when they do for the ball, it's either to Keenan Allen or it's to Melvin Gordon. Right Lovin Gordon's his targets share on the season. I mean, it's up there among the elite at the running back position. He's being used more in the past game than we,

you know, even we could have expected. So I just don't know that there's enough opportunity in the past game both Mike Williams and Keane now And and Melvin Gordon and Tyro Williams to all get there's It's sad to say, but I think Mike Williams the borderline droppable player. I think he is. We'll talk more about that when we talk about our drop players on tomorrow's show. With that, will say goodbye to our YouTube audience The Fantasy Both as He Comes Your Way next with Corey Parson Jim

Day and The Closer Chris Venture. If you enjoined the show, please subscribe on iTunes, rate us five stories, give us a comment. We sincerely, sincerely appreciate it. Frankie, we got a game tonight, Green Bay and San Francisco. The spread sits at what sir? It's currently green Bay Lane nine at home against c J beat Hard in the potent forty Niners offense. Can I can I be honest with both you for a second? You say it, Dane says it, Corey says it. I believe Corey was the first one

to say it. To be fair, Corey was the first one to say beat hard really was the first pon, first person to look at c J. Beathard to be like wheatod it's pretty funny, but like Mr Sussman is here again, everyone does it down the fun find something more creative. All right, where's your creativity? What do you want to say about the packers of the forty Niners offense? I mean, I think they're gonna get stopped, But like so you would take the package. I know Gay likes Niners,

but that's just a suckers play. You just know better of bad teams, and Matters are bad team. In Lambeau Monday night, you'd have been on the c J beat Hard. Look about that. Oh, now you're allowed to say CJ beat I was proving a point. I was proving a point. I don't know. It's a It's a tough tough game to call. If I had to choose one, I would probably take the forty nine Ers two, just because I don't trust the Packers defense. They have a lot of

injuries in that secondary. Right now, Greg, Oh, I get it, man, Probably this is a backdoor covered is what you're looking for? The VS back there m V s plat him in the secondary. Just do it. I mean, he's a big, duty's fast right the hands team. We have the game total at forty six and a half. An now, I'd probably take the over. They'll bang that over, no problem, bang that over over, beat hard that over. We got a gosh, no creative. There you go, and you're still

using beat hard though. Else you want to measure from yesterday? Quickly? Um Nick Peterman got in the game, Josh Allen got hurt yesterday and believe it's an elbow injury for him in classic Nate Peterman fashion, through a game tying touchdown and then I backbreaking pick six. Hilarious. Ye, I don't really have much from that game. Year be back next week, right, that's the rumor he is eligible to start practicing this week. He can come off the publist. I don't know how

much he's gonna be used right away. They'll probably slowly work him in, but I wouldn't be uh shocked if again he is the starter over the next couple of weeks soon. And that's something we highlighted in last week's Waiver Wire show. I thought, you know, this was a game that could have been for Dalvin Cook and his fantasy owners, but obviously he missed it. I think it makes a lot of sense in a game where they were favored by ten and a half points at home.

But Let'savius Murray looked awesome. So again, continue to stream you running backs against the Cardinals. Yeah. I think that's that's the real thing that Denver. I'm happy that they sat out to Avin Cooked though, like, let's get this guy healthy, man. Yeah, it was a smart decision by them. Also, yesterday sand really good for the Jets. Oh Diddy, Greg, Yeah, he did, is why I said it. Sure you'd rather have him on your team that sick one Barkley. No,

I just agree. He's very good. Barkley best running back in the NFL. If Justin Herbert is good, can you play quarterback Justin Herbert is good. Then yeah, yeah, that's a new thing. Yeah, I don't it's any thing. I don't reely like Oregan quarterbacks, this combination. Admittedly I don't watch an ounce of college football, but everything that I've read and seen is that scouts are quote unimpressed by this year's draft class. There's still a lot of college

football play. Obviously, here's the here's the problem. So I just pulled up a picture of this guy. This guy, this guy can't be the starting quarterback in here Giants. Oh no, this this guy, No, no, no, no, this this this, this, this is not gonna work. We can't make this happen. It's like a ninth grader from Long Island. Maybe that was an old picture. Oh he has long hair. Maybe that's more recently. That'd be cool. Oh no, this is pretty boy, pretty boy quarterback in the Giants. Greg,

this is not good. This, this is this is bad. Aren't you the one who told me that, like quarterbacks in Oregon, offenses don't really trans Joe Harrington has been a disaster. Joe Harrington, the Ducks, the way, the culture so bad. Andrew Luck awesome. Every week for a fantasy perspective, just going back to the Sam Donald stuff, though he honestly did look impressive. Had the Jets defense look great too.

I mean, Marlon Mack basically handed him a pick six, you know that early like they tried a little dump off past him. He bobbled it right into the hands of Mo claiborne. They bring that back for a pick six. So the Jets training in the right direction. I don't know if you've seen Dan Orlovsky, who's like trying to break into uh like he's doing like his breakdown. He's doing his breakdowns and he had an awesome one today

for Sam Donald. So it's a fun time. Look, he still makes some ricky mistakes that that interception that he pretty much just floated up like you're gonna get one of those per game out of Sam Donald, but he also makes plays like he did on that's real prior touchdown where he just youngest starting quarterback in the NFL, and he looks good. I'm excited about him for the next couple of years. Fantasy Well friends, he comes your way next Corey Jim and of course the closer Chris

Vedra For Franky Stamble, my name is Greg. Thank you so much. For watching The Fantasy best Friends Forever. We'll do it all again tomorrow, we hope.
