Welcome by your host Friday from Man by God Frob Say Francis, practice stand ball ladies and tell them in your BF and with that we willcome you inside of studio at thirty four. This is the BFFs. Here's Frank Snaffle. I am Greg Sousman. We're back with you here read having all of wild Card. We get some crazy DFS story as well. We had a lot of packing in
an hour. But most importantly, Frank, I just sleep. I slept very well last night. Uh sober no carp January is going here? Well you already look slimmer. I can't tell if you're being honest. Am absolutely I lost four pounds last week did I not there you go out of nowhere? Did I not? New Year? New Frank? You got here? We go times last week? Boom, there you go. That's great. So I slept well last night, slept well all weekend, no hangovers, great news starts of the year.
How did you sleep last night? I slept really really well. I slept really well the night before. That's because I was very drunk um, but I was eating uh eight very poorly. This weekend. I'd say we swapped. We basically swapped. You know. The thing is, it's football, it's a playoffs. You just sit on the couch and just nash all day. I did that. Would you eat carrots? I I ate chips. It had some buffalo chicken dip. We had some like um, hand rolled beef pockets, basically, had some mots sneaks pizza,
had some steak strips. It's fine, it's great. Some bacon basically just a bunch of meat. Uh your carnivore. These U these little I don't know, they're like these little slim gyms, right. They sell them like Polish delis in my neighborhood. I think they're called cabanos. If we have any Polish listeners, viewers out there. So I was eating those or basically many slim jims. Some cheese, that's it. No bread, no pasta. I don't know. You're sitting on
the couch watching. You couldn't even ney wings, couldn't. It's a good test of willpower, you know. I couldn't do it. Man, How did you get to work today? By the way you walk? You walk every day pretty much. So people have heard my rant about living in New York before, so I will spare you of that. But basically today was the first day where everybody was back in New York City. He calls. Last week we had New Years, people are still away. It was terrible, it was. It
was so bad. I had to wait for two l trains to go by. They were so packed from my station you couldn't even squish it. No, there was no squishing whatsoever. Packed to the brim, a bunch of people and Greg, you know me. You don't like people, not a people person, don't like people, know, So morning didn't get off to a great story. You wouldn't know. I came in. I was a little more surprised than usual, which wasn't It wasn't Crouch, No your grature Friday you
were today? Sorry, okay, but that was my morning. It was very frustrated. So if you again, if you commuted to anywhere in New York via trains, not in New York, he probably sucked. If you committed anywhere today yet its first full week back. God bless, God bless indeed a great weekende weekend. Yeah, it was a wild weekend, Greg. Anyways, um it was. It was a great weekend of football overall. I thought things don't necessarily go the way I wanted
them to do do. That's okay, you know it doesn't always work. Now you have a playoff league that you are basically out of already. So Greg, you know, instead of donating your money to this league every yrnth, why don't you just give me money? Why would I give it to you? He didn't earn it first? Of course? Of course I've earned it, Greg, person that we to tell people who you know, watch the show, listen to the show, that I've earned the money. The person that wins the league
is gonna win the money. Yeah, but you don't ever win the league. You already out of it after wild card weekend. Well, I don't want you just give that money to me, I was the favorite going into the Super Bowl. You use it to buy a bunch of meats and cheeses. Bread can't come on my apartment. I had so much cheese in there right now. You love it? Do you know what I like cheese? I don't love cheese like. You're a big cheese. You're a fresh MUDs guy.
You dive into the fresh MUDs. I do have a salad I haven't eaten yet today because mazzro and I add my salad. You could have eaten there. There is no bread in there. Greg, I barely want to eat my own salad. I will not be eating your salad because of you, Frank, because of this diet. Like I opened the doughnuts that I brought for everybody today and I was like, I can't, I can't eat this. Didn't
do it cook. The most painful part is coming into here to work, to be honest, because on Friday, someone I think it was Alex Paisano downstairs eating a sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel right next to today he had don't don't do that out. So today Alex brought and pizza fin a pizza when Steve a pizza. People are donuts. It's not a problem. What do you think Alex and Sabara? Oh yeah, I mean Alex we have to have a talk. Where where is he from?
Where's Alex from Long Island? Greg, I may say so myself. I say, you did say, oh, that looks like a nice slice immediately after opening. It surprised me how nice it looked. Yes, you don't eat Sabarrow if you're from New York, you just don't do that. That's Michael Scott from the office right right, Well where are they filmed? In? Takes places? It takes place in scran p A. So yeah, that's their idea of New York pizzas. So I don't know. Actually,
that's actually why I got Sabarrow. Me and Brian were talking about that exact quote right before I went and got food. I was like, oh, want me to tell you? Not a good enough reason? I tell you what? Please? Please do? All right, Well, maybe we'll go get pizza. You live in New York. Save the pizza for February, please, Greig, please my favorite day. I'm gonna gain all of my weight back on February first, Super Bowl weekn that's Super Bowl weekend. It's crazy. He's going to be Frank Walks
in the February first show. He's got his bacon, egg and cheese. He goes has popcorn again. It's it's great. It's a great Friday again, all the all the weight back that I lost in the months. And no, I don't think I'm some kind of elitist because I'm on a diet either, because I don't like when people do that. But this is more of again, It's more will challenge for you. It's a cleanse, you know. I look, I do uh. I don't treat my body right in the
months of November and December January. This king could do the same thing. She didn't do it last year. Actually she was mad at me for doing it last year. But she's she's joined the party. I don't know if you want to call this party. She's she's joined it. Whatever this is, she's she's joined the fray. M's a good beer on Saturday night. You definitely don't drink good beer. Greg great Treehouse. I was drinking. It's a fantastic Did drink wine, You're like wine? No, I don't drink wine.
I don't drink anything in the month. Nothing no wine, no beer, nothing all right. Anyway, So it was a lot of really good football this weekend, and there really was. Though it was it was an awesome weekend in this DFS controversy. Also because like I had an opinion of it last night. You came in, You're like, this is going crazy. I knew, and obviously we're gonna on the opposite sides of that. And I I still think I'm on the opposite side, but like I'm starting to see
the light. No, I more understand like why you were are annoyed or could be annoyed. I'm a big rule follower. You gotta follow exactly and I'm not. That's the thing. I gonna give you an example, all right. So when I said, then I will give you an example. Sure, When I was at the airport coming home from Florida.
Coming home from Florida, Uh, you know how like they have a group one, two, three, four, and five right where you air the plane, right, So I was in group four, but they were rushing people on the plane. They're trying to get on because it was and they we had to hit our time whatever. They're runn a little bit late. The announced Group one the line is like to the next gate. That's how long it is. So that was they were all on the Group two line.
That was like two, three, four five. I was Group four. There was nobody on the Group one line. So I walked on the line and walked on the plane, and duty obviously followed me, very dishonorable. And I told my sister. I told my sister's fiance, who's just like you kidding, You can't do that. I mean, he's the lion. I just walked on. There's the same guy who snuck us into great seats in Yankee Stadium. And that's that's mad. That's that's good example. We come back, we'll here from Frank.
We're gonna going with this DFS stuff a little bit later on, and I want to get into the games. We'll do all of that when we come back. I want to be the next Daily Fantasy Millionaire. Okay, back here on the VFFS you heard, I'm not a rule follower. That's why I you know, I feel how I feel about uh, the loophole if you will in DFS freak, why are you a rule follower? Was the story you had for us? Oh, it's not necessarily a
story or anything. It's just really an example. Greg. If you went out in the middle of the street right now and urinated, what do you think would happen to you? Most likely nothing, But you should be you should be given a citation of some sort. Yes, you know, you would be reprimanded in some kind of way. Right, Yeah, How is this any different? There's a rule, the rule, it's a law within draft. Different rules are different. There's different rules. Urinating on the sidewalks not the same as
skiving a line and find a loophole. We thought if there's a lot, we don't have a lot. But this whole DFS thing is is more than just a loophole. Do you want do you want to get into it now or do you want to wait? You want to all right, we'll do it now. Okay. So here's what happened. So when you play in the Millionaire Maker, the big tournament every week in the NFL, you were only allowed to enter a hundred and fifty lineups in her player And that means I, as a player, can only enter
in a maximum one fifty lineup. One not two hundred, not three hundred, one fifty. Now, Frank and I, if we were uh, we are friends, were best friends. But if we went on the mill technically speaking, technically speaking, if we went in on this we both participated in a hundred fifty line up in the Millimaker, we could not converse or set our lineups together. I would set my one fifty, you would say, year one fifty, because in the by laws we cannot do it together. Is
that correct? That is correct? Now? Of course we That's also a bad example though, But I'll tell you what that's That's how that's how I feel about it. Because we here at sports Grade, every site daily rodo dot com that helps millions of people make lineups, and we have a slack chat. They all discuss, right, yes, so they all not saying colue, but they discussed what they like or the optimizer spits out what they don't like
and how they could get in on. Okay, So what happened last night is a woman that was on Bachelor in Paradise. She met her husband who's also on the Bachelor, and they met each other. They got married, they have kids, and he is a DFS guy. How was that season? By the way, I didn't watch it, but Ji said, was all right? I asked her. I asked her about it. She was pumped because she I knew that you would have some kind of input on this, so I do.
The reason why I was so excited about this and why I knew about this last night was because I lost an hour fandal conta this week. Frank. But let JUDI set the lineup and she's houcked. She was like, oh man, this is fun. Like like I wanted to put in DK Metcalf, I wanted to put in She definitely put in Russell Wilson. I know she has the Russell Wilson for originally he's been Russell Wilson in no other Seahawks. Like listen, I been to Russell Wilson. You
have another Seahawks it so I wanted Dk Metcalf. She didn't want. Oh gosh, that's that's that was the first mistake. I see the resemblance, though, what do you mean between you and Russell Wilson? Like why Judy married ten curly hair? For sure, I'm being honest. So she's said the line up and she's like, how much did that costs? Goes five dollars. She goes, we play again next week. You know, you could have played every week, but last week we
I'm doing seventeen weeks. Could have got it in. She goes, oh, because it's it's our money. Now, It's not just me gambling, it's our money. So she was in. So when I told her that this woman from the Bachelor one this goes I would a million dollars. Technically, yes, now it costs more than five dollars to enter that, but it's
not like a crazy amount there was. I think it's twenty dollars for the million maker entry times Junie wants to enter, she would cost her twenty bucks to enter her one line up and have a chance to a million dollars theoretically, So I explained to her why that's really hard to do because you have all these pros with all their algorithms and whatnot, and it's really hard to win the million millionaire makers. Oh that's why. Then, you know what, it's really cool that this girl get it.
You're right, it is really cool that she did because she's not a this is me last night, because she's not a pro. She's just seemingly, in my head, it was a girl that watch football putting the line up or two and it's better fifty bucks and whatever. And this was the original reaction on Twitter as well. Everyone was like, look see even a girl could win it, like you can. That's the frustrating bar you can get even it's the way to include It's a way to
include everybody. You know, she could have been a football the fan that I am. It's not fair even a girl, but like, even non professional, that was the way to kind of include everyone. So that was awesome. She loved it, and that's how I went to sleep. When I woke up, Frank walked in. I woke up, came to work my stuff. Frank walks and he goes, hey, hear this person that was a millimaker last night. I was like, oh, this is our conversation this morning, and I was like, oh,
that's so cool. It was like growing the Bachelor. It's like yeah, but it's like not real. What do you what do you mean? And Frank explains to me what happened was the woman who was married to he contested on the Bachelor, or maybe he was the Bachelor. He's like a professional Daily Fantasy player. He had his one and fifty lineups. She had a hundred and fifty lineups. The lineups out of all three hundred, none were the same. Zero.
He shows out of his hundred fifty line ups, he had fifty with one quarterback, fifty with another quarterback, fifty with another quarterback. Out of hers, she also had fifty with the quarterback, fifty with the quarterbacks with the quarterback, and none of the quarterbacks were the same. They had six different quarterbacks in their three hundred lineups. She had not had one complete set we're all Saturday quarterbacks and one complete set we're all Sunday quarterbacks. Is a logic.
What was the reason behind that? I don't know. I'm just okay, that's just how they separated. It's probably like some kind of DFS game theory. Okay, it's probably it's just how they separated. Okay, so they separate all these lineups, none match at all. She winds up winning and she I looked at her Twitter to see if she was publishing, Oh my god, talking to you about her lineups. She
had one tweet after winning. She hadn't tweeted since like September, and it's just retweets, right, She's not very active on social media. And the one tweet she had after winning, and I actually said this to Judy last night, Oh my god, I can't believe it. And I was literally telling Tanner I wanted DK Metcalf. He said no, and we put him in. And that was like the one tweet about it at the time last night. Now, unfortunately he in his hundred of the line ups he had
like se DK Metcalf, which percent DK Metcalf. So why is he telling her not to do it? I don't really know. Now. The theory is the prevalent theory, DK Draftings say, we're looking into it. The prevalent theory is that they either a made their lineups together or be he used her user name to put in an extra one hundred and fifty line ups. Now this is illegal according to the terms of service of Draft Kings, because you yourself are only entitled to one one hundred and
fifty entries as yourself in line up. You cannot make an extra user name. You cannot go in with someone that's in the by law as well, and you have to just do it fairly like like that. Now, my response to all of this was, well, her husband and wife. If I was sitting on the couch with my wife and she asked me advice about she has, she's going in her own three thousand dollars, because of course it's
my three thousand dollars because we're married. If she's saying we're both seeing in the couch and making lineups, are we not allowed to talk about those lineups? And Frank's response was technically parcharnically speaking, no, she has her lineups, you have your lineups, and I go, sure, technically speaking, whatever, but we're married. You can't stop me from talking same with if I'm not married. This is my take on it.
If Frank and I are sitting at this table and we're talking about our Draft Kings lineup and fandal we do it, I'm not allowed to do that. I mean that's the basis of all DFS content, right, Like are talking things out, they're trying to figure out who to use. The biggest difference, which is what I wanted to bring up to you, Greg, is that me and you both have prior knowledge. It is now. I don't know if she does or not, if she plays DFS every single week,
and I'm sure it's something that they'll look into. Uh. And again, this is gonna be something that's hard to prove overall, like whether or not there's collusion involved. And I'm sure there's other people that do things like this. Not that I'm condoning it, obviously, I am against it. I think that you should follow the rules, but there's
probably people who do this as well other people. But I would say the biggest difference is, Greg, I already have prior knowledge of what I was gonna do with these line ups anyway, and just me and you're talking it out. Yes, you might influence me one way or another.
But when you look at the breakdown of all of these lineups, all three of these lineups, it just gets kind of fishy that a lot of them have overlapped with DK metcalf in both lineups and then all of one set of lineups, like all of his lineups have Saturday quarterbacks, and then all of her lineups have Sunday quarterbacks. So it kind of I guess the point of that, the game theory part of that is to see, like if you gain an edge on day one versus Day two,
something like that. But obviously it's against the rules, and I'm a big rule follower, so uh, you know, I'm against it. Obviously, I'm against anyone trying to cheat or gain an advantage. But are they the only people to ever do this? I'm sure there are. I am sure. I am sure that there are regular DFS experts that go in together on this, right, Like they're experts. They spend thousands of dollars a night on multiple sports, right, And let's just say say it's you and me, right,
we're both experts in the industry. You gotta share my winning, is gonna share your winning. We are in on this together. We're gonna make lash together. It happens every night in DFS, you know it. I'll say it's legal, but it happens every night. But if she doesn't know anything about DFS at all, and he's just using this to make three lineups. That's not right. You give yourself more of an advantage. Yes, we'll talk more about this and getting into the games codex.

We're giving out DFS advice, we're using an optimizer together, we're coming up with information that's illegal. No, no, no, because it's not like Daily Rodo is using one up and also using your one doing it collaboratively. Yes, but that's your You're using content from somebody else to influence yourself. It's not so technically she couldn't used the content of
her husband's spreadsheets influence herself. Sure, and if and if it comes out that was the case, then it's perfectly no. No, you're right. You're not gonna be able to prove it. But based on uh and I'll tweet out this article as well. I know Jim posted it in the YouTube
chat shout out to the Fantasy tas Jim Day. But based on that article, there are a bunch of people who have proven, based on the overlap of the players that they have and the fact that the only thing that really differentiated was their quarterbacks, that there is clear collusion involved here. But outside of that like, you're right. Yeah, like they're gonna argue it to the tea and say, you know what it sounds like to me? What is it?
Sounds of losers. I also think that if it wasn't somebody even the Bachelor and just like me, are you doing it? For instance? Yeah, obviously adds to the publicity of Draft Kings tweeted it out and said, well, here's your rose, like great promotion for them. No, absolutely, it's awesome. Would we be talking about the Draft Kings millionmaker right
now if it wasn't for this, You're absolutely right. So again, if they would have tweeted out like get on the Grid Greg and Frank, Greg from Sports Free wins a million dollars and even though it was really Greg and Frank that one a million dollars. No, it's talking about it. It doesn't matter, Nobody cares. Let's talk after the show. Maybe we could collaborate right here a rule follower, you don't want to, all right, thanks for reminding me, No
problem about it, all right? So the early game on Saturday, we'll go and order and get to it. The early game on Saturday, Buffalo and Houston. Uh. Not surprisingly, Buffalo gets out to a early lead sixteen nothing lead could be even more um on the kickoff, and I'll get to that in a moment. Ultimately, Shawn Watson put on his cape, Josh Allen puts on his went underwear because he pissed himself, and the Houston Texans survived in overtime, come back to win and advance. I look at this game. I'
let me start with the kickoff. Play, kick off, the I guess it's kick off the second half. The Houston Texans receiving, the receiver catches the ball and it goes like this like letting everybody pass, which is the referee symbol that it plays over, doesn't kneel down, throws the ball back to Tony Currency, who's just like this his hands behind his back. Well, the Bills recover and technically it is a touchdown. Now, it was the referee, Tony
Cornti that called the play. It's all his fault, so Currency, it's like kind of following the rules. Now, all these backup officials at the time run on the field and they're like, dude, come on, and you know that's what they said, right, dude, come on, you know what he was doing technically by the letter of the law that as they touched down by the Buffalo Bills. What do
you think of it, Frank, your rule follower. If you rule followers, you gotta follow this is This is one of the nuances of the game, though, and we see this every single week, multiple time throughout the course of the game. Guys don't kneel down, They'll sometimes they let the ball just go over their heads, they'll catch it whatever. And he even made some signals himself, some hand signals that he wasn't taking the ball out of the end zone.
His teammates knew the case as well. So I had no problem with that play being reversed and it not being a touchdown because we see that every single week and everybody who they spoke to on the broadcast to the same exact thing. So I don't have a problem with that. And I feel like Tony Currenti, and this is something that Gabe talked about last week. He's like, oh great, my Bills have Tony Creni of all refs, Right, what is he doing there? Man? Just blow the play dead.
I understand the rules rule, but we see that every single week. If that's the case, then okay, then you have to tighten this up every single week in the NFL, not just in the playoffs. But you can't have a play like that determine a touchdown in a playoff game. So I had no problem with that being reversed, and I agree with your comment. Sense should prevail in that instant in the first half, Bill Is that anything they wanted? With Houston the offense? How about the first drive? That
was awesome? John Brown played to Josh Allen, Josh Allen running for you. It's over in the number, as we told him his first run, I think with Russell Wilson yesterday text. I texted frank this, He said, nice, it was not halfway service. Well because I took Cold Beasley props instead of Josh Allen props and I gave them all out on Saturday when I was here. And someday you tweeted up some DK metcalf stuf. I responded that.
He did not respond back, but I responded that I thought I love it, Frankie all in, I liked your tweets. So that's basically the same as a response. Okay, fine, you're all hit on the DK metcalf st Now the cat cals and I was on the over for Carson wentz We'll get to that a little bit later. Well, I was on the over rushing ars Carson Wentz Um. But so Buffalo really takes it in that first half.
The first drive, Houston had nothing, and then the second half it almost felt like hanging around, hanging around, hanging around, and the Buffalo Bills and Brian Dable do exactly what you're not supposed to do. They took their foot off the gas and they played a little tight. Houston played loose, and Buffalo let them right back into the game, and that's exactly how they lost the game. And I wanted to talk about the conservative nature of them just early
in this game as well. Um kind of contributed to them taking the foot off the pedal, right Like, they scored a touchdown early in this game, first drive of the game. They dominated the first half, and people were tweeting it out. They said, this game feels like it's only like it's twenty eight tip, like it's over already. You know, at the time, it's only like ten nothing, thirteen nothing. This is what happens in the playoffs. You cannot settle for field goals. You need to be more aggressive.
Once you get into enemy territory, you have to try and score touchdowns because if you leave an opening for a team like the Texans. Granted the Bills have a great defense, they are the better defensive team in this game, there's no doubt about it. But if you leave an offense and a player like DeShawn Watson just that sliver of hope, that opportunity for them to climb back into this game, then you do deserve to lose. Greg something that I kept saying over the weekend, someone else smarter
than me has probably said it at some point. If you play not to win the game, you deserve to lose, and that's exactly what happened with the Buffalo Bills here. You need to be more aggressive in once you get into the inside the red zone, inside your opponents thirty forty, whatever it might be, you need to try and score touchdowns because if you don't, next thing, you know, oh it's a touchdown and it was a one score game. After that it was sixteen zip the Texan score touchdown
scored two point conversion. Next thing, it's a one score game, right. You can't allow that opportunity. You just can't even leave that window open. When you're in the playoffs, you can't let your foot off the gaspital. That's exactly what happened here for the Buffalo Bills. And of course there were questionable things that happened late in this game. I don't know which one you want to start with, but like the blindside block thing to me was just that was aggious, man.
So there's a lot more to get you before that. I thought Josh Allen had a really, really tough fourth quarter and over time he took two sacks that could have won the game. Oh, such bad sacks. And not only that, why is Frank Gore on the field. He loses the six yards just before he gets sacked twice. There it was when they could have kicked a field goal to win the game. It was win the game. It was remarkable because Devin Singletary had a long catch
and run along run and he was winded. Don't get me wrong, but I was screaming at the TV again, how does look at the box score for this game? Devin Singletary thirteen carries for fifty eight yards four point five yards per carry, six receptions for seventy six yards twelve point seven yards per reception. You put Frank Gore in and they do this every single game. If you
watch the Buffalo Bills. I was texting back and forth with Michael Florio, die hard Bills fan the entire game, because I was on the Bills money line in this game, and he and you watch the Bills in the fourth quarter of games, once they get inside the red zone of opponents, they put Frank Gore in the game because I guess he's a veteran that can hold onto the football. You don't have any worries about him potentially fumbling. Well, how about the potential about him losing six yards on
first down? Second now, whatever it was for the Buffalo Bills. Here, Devin Singletary is running well, extremely efficient, and we can kind of bring this back to fantasy. I think he did himself some favors next year in terms of moving up the draft board. In this game. Why did Singletary ever come off the field for Frank Gore? He had
thirteen carries, Frank gorehead eight. It makes no sense like this is I see the guys on Twitter DFS guys talk about galaxy brain thinking right, Davis Maddie, Galaxy Brain, don't overthink it. Man. You have a rookie who was running efficiently, don't go away from him. That was part of, you know, the eventual demise of the Bills in this game. But having Frank Gore on the field losing uh, losing yards on that play, the back to back sacks, I mean that was the beginning of the end for the Buffalo.
The lateral to Dawson Knox. He didn't even see him before he lateral did what was he thinking so much time? This is the roller coaster that is Josh because he looked great in the first guy talent, he looked composed, He's got talent. But then once you saw that momentum start to shift a little b to Houston, Texas put points on the board. Once you saw that, Josh Allen starts to feel the pressure a little bit. He still had clean pockets, but he's throwing overthrowing people, throwing balls
into the ground. You just started to see the momentum shift on the field, something that you can't really quantify, but overall, first start in his career in the playoffs, you started to see those nerves. In the second half for Josh Shaw, Watson avoids a massive sack to get the ball to Tyler Irvin, who essentially sealed the game for the Houston Texans. Is an awesome play by Shawn Watson avoiding the sack and that's what did it? Was
it Tyler Irvan? Yeah? I want Jones great? Taiwan Jones used to be Tylervans because I remember, I was like, didn't that guy used to play running back for the Raiders and then play quarterback for the Raiders and he's been like five other teams. It was Taiwan Jones with a thirty four yards catching scampers. Did you wear thirty four? I'm not sure what number he wears. Yeah, he's number thirty four. Taiwan was Tyler Irvan's numbers. See, I remember that,
like I was there. Yeah. So there were so many other things that went wrong in this game. Um, the lateral by Josh was completely ridiculous. The blind side block to call I understand, Look, if you completely knock someone's block off here when they're not looking, that should be called. You know, that's unnecessary roughness. That's fine to understand that. You're talking about a defensive lineman who is chasing, chasing down Josh Allen or at the time chasing down. Was
it Josh Allen? Yeah, it was Josh Allen because it was a a builds offensive lineman who put the block on Um whatever defender it was at the time, and but the guy was looking right at the play like it wasn't blindside, It wasn't egregious, it wasn't nothing crazy. That call was terrible, Uh, Josh Allen laterally it's nobody. I mean, I wanna talk about wild Card weekend, Josh Allen himself as a wild card. It just has no idea what's going on there at that point. Um allowing
the third and eighteen greg was huge. How about the third and eighteen play where they're playing the soft zone. I understand you don't want to have to beat you deep, but you let this. You let do John catch the ball and run of eighteen yards. That was terrible and then not sacking to Shawn Watson. The th deserve to lose that game one four and seven. Either punt or try to field. It's like a fifty yard but schmucks.

Anymore on the Buffalo Bills in Houston, Texas. Now we spoke about this a little bit during the break, just wanted to bring up. I still thought that Bill O'Brien did a terrible Oh he's a very bad and you could tell in the second half it was all Deshaun Watson, Like you mentioned put on the Superman case. Tell ke
McCarthy did another job. By the way, he didn't listen to anything Bill O'Brien was telling him to do, Like he would drop back and just take off and run and just make plays like that play where he got collided by two Bills defenders, Like obviously that was all him. It was like it was nothing that Bill O'Brien called or did um that helped win that game. I thought it was just all Deshaun Watson. It could not agreame more right the later game Tennessee and New England. You know,
we kept sitting here wondering last last week. Franc Or like Tennessee should win this game. They're better football team, but it's the Patriots. Somehow they're gonna figure it out, and they didn't. They were eight no uh to start off the season, and they simply never recovered from there. There there. They had no offense all season long. The defense carried them, and the defense was good yet again
against Tennessee, I know, uh. They allowed Derrick Henry to run for whatever he wanted almos two hundred yards on the ground, but it was almost like a bend not break, and they held his team. So I would leave thirteen points on offense. They six twenty, but they held doing Atrios. Maybe it was fourteen whatever. The Patriots defense did their job and the Patriots offense did what they did all
season long. Nothing. I don't know if it's Tom Brady, I don't know, if it's a lack of skill position players. I don't know if it's juliettam was injury or a combination of all of it. Patriots did not have enough this year. Sony Michelle got stuff with the goal line twice, which sucked. Rex birkehead got hit at the one yard line, was like, yeah, more, Sony didn't happen. It didn't have enough. Derrick Henry what scorched earth as he's been doing all
season long. He will be a clear first round pick next year. But to me, the story of the game as it was coming out of that game, and rightfully so, he's at Mike Vrabel out coached Bill Belichick on Saturday Night. How great was that split screen of Mike Vrabel continuing to waste the clock and taking penalties while Bill Belichick is just losing his mind yelling at referees. That was awesome that it was just a great juxtaposition of Bill
Belichick and one of his former players. Now, this was a back to back weeks that he has lost to either a former player or a former coach of his that was on his staff. And it was also back to back weeks where Tom Brady through a pick six. He did that against the Miami Dolphins, he did that against the Tennessee Titans in this game. And I saw Patriots fans and media pundits after this game. Greg saying, well, you know, Tom Brady just didn't have enough help. He
didn't have enough help in this game. Is this core that much different than what it has been in years past, Craig, because I don't think it is. They used a first round pick on ni Kill Harry right, they drafted him over DK metcal Whose fault is that that's in New England Patriot They use a second round They traded a second round pick for Mohammed Sanu. He did not help him win this game. Whose fault is that? That's the New England Patriots. So they tried, They tried to get
Brady help. They signed Antonio Brown. Of course, they didn't know Antonio Brown was gonna didn't know it, and they tried. They tried. They thought that they could turn them around, but they didn't. And of course, if he plays in this game, we're talking about something different most likely. But I don't think that you could sit here and blame the Patriots for not trying. Because they tried, drafted a wide receiver early. They didn't take dk Metcalf, that's their fault.
They traded a second round pick to try and get Mohammed Sanu. At the time, we all kind of scratched our head. We're like, well, what are they doing? It's gonna work out, because you know, the Patriots know what they're doing. They could have traded that to get Emmanuel Sanders. That might have changed the outcome of this game as well. Emmanuel Sanders has been better all season long than Mohammed Sanu. So I'm not gonna sit here and say, oh, you
gotta get Brady more weapons. The Patriots tried, they failed to do so. Belichick was outcoached in this game. And now the topic of conversation, of course, Greg is gonna be Have we seen the last of Tom Brady in the Patriots uniform? I'm sure most people are gonna lean towards Brady can't go anywhere else. He's gonna stay with the Patriots. I don't think so. I think he leaves, so I think and uh, and again, it does depend
on a lot of things. I think that depending on where Josh by Dales ends up, Brady could go with him. I know the charging point. I know the Chargers have said that Ethelyn will be back next year, and I think he will. The combination of Josh mc daniels and Rady sound interesting. It does The problem is we have a team for you to where that could work. The problem is the teams that are left leaning head coaches. Cleveland, Carolina. The Giants kind of had their quarterbacks obviously, Baker Maazon
on Cleveland, Ctainly Daniel Jones with the Giants. Now Carolina is interesting. Carolina is interesting. Do they go with with Tom Brady? Where do they draft someone? I don't know Carolina would be the spot for but they can bring in McDaniels and Brady for a year or two in Carolina draft a quarterback this year even though they just use a third or fourth round pick on Will Greer last year. Uh, and they can groom that quarterback under
Tom Brady. Of course, they still have Cam Newton. I don't think Cam Newton's gonna be back with the Carolina Panthers. There's been enough smoke there where either he'll be traded, he'll be moved somewhere else. But I think Carolina is very interesting, especially because if you're the Patriots, they're not in the same conference. They're not you know, they're He's often are you gonna see the You're Tom Brady? Right, You're Tom Brady? Why are you going to Carolina. I
guess that's we're not. That's why everyone's talking about the Chargers. People are talking about a potential swap that Philip Rivers can go to New England and Tom Brady can go to the Chargers. Will see it's easier to do obviously with McDaniels, but I think Anthony Lynn will be doing makes sense. I could see Tom Brady in Vegas with the Raiders. I don't think that's crazy. That would be insane, right, Yeah, that's something I could see when insprised me. See right,
if it's Patrick go to New England as well. I tweeted that to all my Patriots fan the AC East Quad Quad. Yeah, I guess there's four teams in the division. He's played for every other team. You can still play a little bit too. Put Fitzpatrick the Patriots. That would be awesome. I texted a few of my Pats fan friends. Uh, they didn't response to that one. I don't think they liked he was down. He was don a Tampa Rosarians. Put Jami's wins in a Patsy uniform. Not crazy. I
said this on Saturday. Durned profot bolts Today. I said, any Dalton would look great in a patch uniform. They got options? They do Marcus Mariota, Jamis wins, they got option. Maybe they trade for Cam new Greg, imagine that this won't happen. But would Rainy go to Tennessee and just played for Rabel No tan Hills their guy. No one realizes this. Don't laugh a tan Hill anymore. Man, he only threw for seventy against the number one pass for
seventy yards. Let's put a bowl on this game, Greg, and kind of gets to the rest of the games. He probably, in hindsight, shouldn't have spent twenty minutes talking about a bachelor. Bad opinion, My bad, my bad. Admittedly, you're right Derrick Henry if he wasn't a first round picking next year, Um, he definitely is now free agent though. Rick Henry is a free agent unrestricted, so it's gonna
be interesting to see what happened. And they can't franchise tag him and Ryan's on him, so it'll be interesting see what they do there. They're saying they want to bring back Tannehill on a long term deal. Henry will be back with Dennis. He should be. He will be, he should be, he will be next job about Arthur Smith. There an excellent job. I might be a while out coaching Bill Belichick on Saturday night, all right, the early game on Sunday, so you can out coaching the New
Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings. Her Cousins got it done. The light He's went in there and we talked about this on Friday, and I love Minnesota in this game. We thought the spread was too high, and they did pretty much exactly didn't. I didn't think Minnesota had a chance in hell to win the game. I did like them from my spread, so I didn't didn't agree with that. I thought I thought the Saints were winning for sure. So I thought Minnesota played their game, which is exactly
what they did. They could be in it, and that's what happened. They played their game, Dowvin Cook staying in the game, and they ran it down New Orleans Throats and Adam Fieland was good. Kirk Cousins did enough great. He had a really bad first half, really bad first play, first play, and first half. He made some other mistakes in the first half too. Oh it's forgiven though he essentially won them the game. Obviously. Everybody in Minnesota very
much did their job the New Orleans Saints. Drew Brees was awful, Sean Payton was awful. Alan Camara was awful. That's why the Saints lost the game, very, very simply. I thought it was a phenomenal job by Mike Zimmer First and foremost, the ability to bottle up Drew Brees. You know, he completed a ton of his passes in
this game, twenty six of thirty three. But to limit Drew Brees to a two hundred and eight yards six point three yards per attempt, sack him three times behind one of the best offensive lines over the past three seasons, causing a fumble, his first fumble of the season, causing a fumble, causing an interception, only allowing him to throw for one touchdown. Coming into this game, Greg Drew Brees had thrown three plus touchdowns and seven of his last
nine games it was at home. Phenominal job by Mike Zimmer in this in the Supernome in New Orleans, takes some Hill, drives him down the field. Drew Brees comes back and I know he did a lot of time. For everyone who is criticizing the Saints for using Taysom Hill so much, why clearly he was the only person
and who did anything in this game. Thomas was fine, Yeah, Michael for seventy I mean, we all thought it was gonna be more his you know, his props were eight and a half receptions and over it was Drew brees Is inability to give the ball obviously, well it was also part of the defensive game plan of the Vikings not allowing I saw this was the only game, only home game all year Michael Thomas had less and where he didn't have nine receptions in the game. It was crazy,
It was It was very crazy. Now I go back to the end of the game where the Vikings have the ball and like, all right, they call the time out. There's two foody eight left. They call their second time out for the third time out. Excuse me, they don't. They ultimately lose the two minute warning. And we had a big discussion where I watched the game yesterday, Frank, but should they have not used the time out or
should they? Should they have? And we ultimately were both on both sides of it, were like, all right, fine, maybe they should have used it, but they wanted to control of their time out to when it warning comes, when it comes. I saw on Twitter day a lot of people saying they really screwed up not using the time out in that spot. Fine the Beatle, if that's okay, they can't bother me. There's a minute fifty five left. You're on your own thirty You don't really need to
go far right either. Just get the field goal. But touchdown wins the game. Yet two minutes they're doing on the field at home win the game. And a dove off with the Kamara who doesn't go out of bounds. A dove off the Kamara who doesn't go out of bounds. How about when he caught the ball and just kind of like fell backwards and didn't get the first down, Why don't you just turn and run up field? He fell, I guess he thought that he was gonna get tackled
right away. But catch the ball, turn and run up field, Alvin Kamara, you're better than that. Correct doesn't get out of bounds. Even worse than that, they don't call the time out. They never called the time out. They rushed to spike the ball. Not surprisingly, Albancamara still moving ten second run off? All right, let's call it time outs so we avoid the run off. They don't call the time and you have a chance to go for the
touchdown and win that game. Instead of eleven seconds left of a time out in their pocket, they call a screen pass, brace throws it into the ground. They went in over time still not using their time out. Horrible job by Sean Payton, Horrible job by Alvin Kamara, horrible job by Drew Brees. Minnesota outplayed them, deserved to win that game. I don't want to hear anything about the last play, but the push up by Kyle Rudolph that happens on every play all the time in the NFL.
You couldn't have thought. I thought that they didn't even review it. That was egregious as well. Fine, come on, at least look at it. You have referees on Twitter, former referees saying you have to at least review that play, and there were referees on Twitter that said that it was an offensive past interference. I am not making excuses. I'm not making excuses because you're right, the Vikings won this game. Is not that the Saints just lost this game.
The Vikings outplayed the Saints in this game. They deserve to win. They gain more yards in this game and the the the Kyl Rolfe push off was not the reason why they lost this game, and there were plenty other reasons why they lost in this game outside of that. But I think the fact that they don't even look at it was kind of just like another you know, turning the knife in the side of Sean Payton, because I don't know, for whatever reason, League has it out
for Sean Payton. I don't know about going back to like the Bounty Gator. I don't I don't listen. I don't know about that. But what I do know is that I play like that happens in every play corn Out River Run. They looked at it during celebration. They didn't feel like it needed an extensive look. I don't. Both guys are using their arms. There's no question that Kydrudo put out his arm. That's fine. That was all the time watching it in real time, I said, they're
both grabbing onto each other. You know there's nothing there, but when you slow it down, and a lot of times when you slow something down and instant replay, you see, Okay, oh well, he very clearly pushed off. I thought, like I thought the first don't have a problem with him not calling at least review it. They'll take the time to review it. I thought the first down and Cook touchdown um stunk for the Saints. The guy who was in the middle of the side camera, I didn't think
he got in there personally. And I saw this on Twitter yesterday. This is a multibillion dollar industry. Why don't you have a camera above the play? I think they do well. They didn't use it if they have it, because they had the side view and they have like one camera maybe in the back of the end zone where many guys. Why don't you have like a camera they did. They had the sky like floating one of the goal line so that you can see that play. They should have that. Great based on how much money
the NFL makes. Come on, man, well I can't wait with the robot or why don't you just put a sensor in the goal line where like if the ball crosses it, something goes off. We have three minutes Left's talk about Seattle and Philly. We will use all three of those minutes to do exactly that next. interview with the Giants tomorrow, Carolina. Today Panthers are interviewing As I mentioned Rule today Stefanski on Thursday, Cleveland could interview him then as well. Josh M. Daniels expects the interview with the Giants and Panthers later this week. Assumed by next weekend we'll know a whole lot more where all these guys will end up. Greg. I know it's Monday, but how about a slumber party tonight when I sleep over? Yeah? Why not? If once my house is Biggs Jerry Jones,
I mean you, um, alright. I we'll talk more of those coaches Stuf tomorrow and we have more time. But the Eagles and Seahawks, and that's stunk. When Carson Wentz goes out with with the concussion. Dadevian Clowny live with the head. Do you think, Jadevia, they should have been ejected from the game if they watch that play back. I think that, yes, there's a very good argument for
him to be ejected. That Carson Wentz is already going down, and it's fine if you are a defensive player and you tackle Carson wants to make sure he gets down, but to leave with your head and lead with your head but onto his head and crush it into the ground like that. I thought that, you know, that was grounds for being eliminated from this game. Everything else that's happening afterwards, like him receiving death threats and stuff like plays like that happened in the NFL every single week,
every single play. It doesn't make them right, but that's on the referees, man. The referees when they see stuff like that, you know, throw the flag, eject players, do what you need to do. But do Davean Clowney at that point? I mean, yeah, it's a dirty play, But for him to receive death threats from Eagles fans like, come on, man, what are we doing? Totally agree? So I thought that that was a kind of game that you expect that a Seattle right hanging around much like
the Eagles. They kept the Eagles and it John mccauting four years old everything he could hurt too? How about winning by the exact same score from the regular season matchup right? Clearly he heard his hamstring in that game when he staging is the backup quarterback was Greg Warden. I was like, please let Greg Warden didn't happen. Um. Dk Metcalf jumped two rounds himself in fantasy football. He was what you imagine he could have been when he saw him at the comb at the combine, he's a
perfect fit for this offense. He is uh not real. He was drafted seven picks after j j RGA white Side, j j RTGA whiteside. Greg, would you like to tell me what he did yesterday in this game? Nope, that would be a donutcal seven receptions, zero nothing, not a nilch zilch serience against them. K Metcalf seven for one sixty and one. Put out the poll before the show, Greg and the people have spoken, say dk Metcalf will be a fifth round pick next season. He'll be a
fourth round pick. Next season, you're probably right for Frank Stanville. I'm Greg Sauceman. Thanks so much for watching. When Do It All Go Tomorrow? Well,
