You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Fantasy Best Friends Forever m Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Yeoh is as the Fantasy Best Friends Forever here on the Fantasy Sports rate Network alongside Reggie Stample, the newly Christian older Reggie Stamvill Grands from twenty seven years old to that Friday, My Yankee Championship
year day? How about that? Hopefully when I'm turning twenty eight, we celebrating twenty Let's let's just keep it going every year. You like it. I like where we're at year, like whe're at with that? How was your weekend? How is your birthday? What's up? Man? Oh man? My weekend was rate. Friday obviously wasn't here. I heard you had a lot of fun holding down the floor on Friday shows like Sarcasm. What was it fun? It was fun today? Should we
ask Alex if it was funny? I think Alex had a good time, Alex, did you have a good time hosting on BFFs. Of course had a blast. But it's just so hard trying to follow up the legendary Frankie Stanford. Should we talk? We talk about this. We talked about who I am? Greg, So we talked about this because he was just saying, did you guys refer to me as the no no, no, no no. But he was like, you got that credit to to to the legend Chris Venture of the Man and Corey Parson? What a guy
like none of this? Like, what are we doing here? I just I just couldn't handle that killing kindness? Greg, That was alright? That was gonna go back and watch it actually because based on what you told me, it sounded fun. So I go back and do that. Friday was Friday was great? Uh. I went to a burger spot that had like video games at my table, like old school video games like GameCube, Xbox. I was playing duck Hunt. It was it was great. I had a bunch of fried foods. You know, you know I love
you know, I love my fried foods. Greg. I went to another bar which had an arcade, and at night I got to meet John Starks. It was it was great. We went out dancing on Friday night. Saturday, stayed in, stayed in all day long, watched the watch some very grim movies. Greg, who was I haven't seen that are great movies but American History x oh yeah and seven nice it was. I mean those are too good flicks. It's very like but they're very grim, you know very much. Yeah.
So that kind of like put me in a weird mood. And then obviously football happened yesterday, so it was like get a really nice birthday weekend. It was great. Do do you feel real the jets kind of ruined? Do you feel refreshed after your day off from work? I do you look at good mood? So Yoda's looking like under your eyes like I would go in the morning, like in the mirror, I have these massive bags on your payes I normally and you don't you seem refreshed? Well?
I want to sleep kind of late actually last night, but like it's different. You walk up the pep in your step like you go right to work, and it was great. It's true, is in fact atual. My weekend's fine. What did I do? We had a friend's giving? I told you on a Friday night, friends giving on November nine. Well, I mean we're all very busy, man, We're all very busy. So did the friends giving, got some some some stuffing,
some turkey. Greg, we didn't have stuffing or turkey. Um. I made pot look yeah, exactly, we need we need Junia cream spinach, which was delicious. Um. Saturday, I saw Bohemian Rhapsody. That was cool. Okay movie movie it I mean I saw the preview. I know what I don't know. You looked at me like, okay, it's about mean right, Yeah, it was awesome. I was said to talk to Martino about that tomorrow because he wasn't asking me to say it. So I saw it. That was cool for some tasty pizza.
And then yesterday I watched a lot of fool well, good thing you don't have to watch the Giants, which you'll be doing tonight, and know for a fact you didn't watch any jets so um, I did start the Jets defense as I told you I would, So that went great. I watched. I mean a lot of people did completely misread the situation. You know, it's funny and there's no way of knowing that the Jets we're just
gonna completely give up playing football. I do pick up league of my dad every year, or just picked every game that you know for spread, just get my game. And I had the Bills all week because I like doing Why am I picking the Bills? And then I switched to the Jets on Sunday morning. So it sounds like you've had better better football Sundays. Not great, Bob, not not great at all, you know, like we normally do. Greg, I'm sure you know. We talked about our leagues a
little bit, right, of course. So yesterday I have my good buddy my house. We're watching football together and I'm no NotI and I'm referring to my team as the little Engine that could, because in my home league, my team is not very good. I'm I'm like the Miami Dolphins. I'll put it that way. I'm a very foo gazy five and four. Right now, I think I have the
second or third fewest points scored in the league. Right yesterday, I put up a hundred and fifty points greg I Guess Monster Game and David Johnson Monster Game and a zach Ertz. Feeling good about myself, like Bordles in the lineup, Not that I wanted him to be, but he was fine. Fifteen points tonight, Barkley, I don't feel great about it. Yeah, I would say I have I have a seventy chance of losing tonight. It's half PPR. I looked at his
game log. The guy basically hasn't had less than like nineteen points in every single But there were just a few things that just went wrong for me, like Mike Evans dropping the touch down was huge because I have Evans in my lineup. Michael Thomas scoring two very flukey touchdowns against me, the first one which if you see the replay, what are the what are the NFL officials doing? And I know, you know I'm talking from my experience.
I'm sure there's Michael Thomas owners out there that are very excited about it, but it was not a touchdown. The first one was not a touchdown. I mean you saw it was bobbled. And then the second one. Uh, you know, Bengals are just a terrible team and give the ball up right before the half. Michael Thomps ends up scoring a touchdown. So looks like I'm gonna lose in what's likely my best game of the season. So I feel pretty sad about that. And then the Jets,
and then I lost in fantasy back. It wasn't a great fantasy Sunday for me either, but Judy, Judy had a great fantasy so all right, well that's good. That should be the first place team in her league. Look at her to be a team that has hug Girl because general the Steelers on Thursday night and then everything else. What really yesterday she even benched Aaron Jones for Jordan Howard, and yeah, and had I had those two closely ranked.
I had Aaron Jones and all my dfs. I looked at your ranks, I looked at Jake's ranks, and it was all very very close. And I was like, ju just do whatever you wanted. I wanna go to Jordan Howard. And we had her. I had Aaron Jones in I do wanna go to Jordan Howard And I'm like, okay, do your thing, and she all said more Ingram on the bench had Ingram and Aaron Jones on the bench
for Jordan Howard yesterday, which is she won. And then given that she's a rookie, she was like, oh man, so the three games before the playoffs start like it sucks. I played the worst teams. I'm like, no, that's that's good. You play the terrible teams. She plays literally the last place team next week, the second to last place team the week after, and then she plays like the sixth seed the week after that. So she's in a good shot,
good spot to make the playoffs. She's very happy. And how about this before you getting the football, I'm going and whatnot. So next week we are, um, it's her birthday, as you know, and so I have wedding. I have wedding on Friday on her birthday. Saturday, we're going into Philly with her family for the birthday. So then Sunday we are gonna wind up meeting with a rabbi who's gonna be doing our wedding year. He wanted to meet with us whatever, and so I have meat with him
Sunday at noon. I was like, okay, whatever. I didn't think of anything all that like Judy were in your town. Let's just gonna get the rabbi right now. It's just get it over and done. One type of thing. So we hung on the phone. It's like, what about you know football's on? Well, yeah, but like I gotta do we just gotta do this. You get over with so wow. Like so we've got to the point where like I'm concerned that football is on. That is awesome, and you're
willing to do this, like I just didn't. I didn't think because we didn't get back from my parents house to New York. Whatever time we're gonna leave, you're gonna miss the one o'clock games. Do you have you have? Do have reads it on your phone to watch? Like we're gonna get to the point where it's happening. You want to watch the Baking Show on Monday nights, And Duty's like, no, tonight, It's very excited tonight. And I'm excited to watch the Baking Show instead of Giants, that's
for sure. Oh Man, and I had a tweet last night about we keep getting the Cowboys in primetime, and I will say admittedly I tweeted that out in the first half. The second half of the game was, it was very competitive game, fine, whatever. Honestly, I watched the last two minutes of these This is just a terrible game tonight. Man. I just don't know how this happens.
And Giants and I know that they were probably hoping for Jimmy g going up against Odell Beckham and Sae Kwon Barkley and you know, two teams probably right around five hundred. That's probably what the envisioned before the season. But that is not the case. Now. I know. It's kind of hard to flex out a Monday night game because you can't. No, I know, it's not like a thing. Yes,
I know, it's like not possible to do. And I understand why because teams know in advanced alrighty, Like we have scheduling just whenever we have like what one to win team, how many wins of the Giants have one one? We have a we have a game with two teams that combined for three wins. So um, exciting, not gonna be great, But we did just get news of another torn a c O great nd RB yep, so sucks for the Eagles defense, for Eagles fans right now. Tough
game for the Eagles last night. It seems like their offense can't get anything going in the first half. Credits to the Cowboys defense, But this was a secondary that we were already targeting for a poll saying wide receivers. Mark Cooper was fine last night. I was expecting him to have a better game than he actually did. He was all right. I mean he's still you know, led the Cowboys and receiving like he was supposed to do. Just didn't put up a monster game like I thought.
But this is gonna be an Area's target moving forward. Is uh, the Eagle secondary with wide receivers. And then obviously the other big news is Cooper Cup. Yeah, we expected Cooper Cup. That's brutal torn a c l I was reading Dr David Chow on Twitter yesterday and he was saying it really had nothing to do with the torn m c l um previously. You don't know about that. I agree. I'm with you because this reminds me a lot of what Dr Ray says, right when compensation, like
when you're trying to compensate for one injury. This isn't one of those over compensation things. This is when you were When He's really me, it's when you're rehabbing that knee and you really have strengthening that MCL probably weak exactly. Yeah, and it sucks. It sucks. Everyone knows him a Cooper Cup owner CP lover sucks. Yeah, but you're also a Josh Reynolds lover, Craig and I made I made sure we didn't drop him justin CA. Yeah. I mean again,
that's a deeper league, twelve teams. I think we have eight or nine bench spots in that league. So we held on to Josh Reynolds in case something else would happen to Cooper Cup. So that was a smart moved by you. But it looks like, you know, tomorrow, when we really get into the waiver wire, Josh Reynolds is gonna be one of those wide receivers we talked about
a lot. I tweeted something out from Adam Levitton earlier on now that's a Jewish sorry man um that he's He's basically been the number three wide receiver whenever Cooper Cup doesn't play. But the target scare, the target share isn't there, so so it's not great. He did have a game where he scored two touchdowns. I think what
it does for the rams wide receivers. So we just get this out of the way now, is Brandon Cooks and Robert Woods, they're in trench as top fift team wide receivers every single week, pretty much where they were. But instead of Josh Reynolds kind of taking over where Cooper Cup is and having like three top twenty wide receivers, I would say he's more of like solid mid range wide receiver three so it might be the top thirty thirty five wide receivers. So I agree with that totally.
I think it's just about being comfortable with a particular wide receiver because you know that Josh Reynolds running all the same routes the Cooper Cup does and filling in the exact role, and we know interchangeable these wide receivers are.
But Jared Goff just as a comfort factor checking down at Cooper Cup, the whole getting into the lead together thing, the roommate roommate thing, It was real with Cooper Cop and I think he feels very comfortable Jared gofro to Robert Woods, throwing to Brandon Cooks, certainly checking down to Todd Gurley, even the tight ends and Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee. I don't think he has that same from
feeling with Josh Reynolds, who will be there. He'll have chances, just's not nearly the type of chance that the Cooper Cup had. UM. I agree Robert Woods, Brandon Cooks, UM they will be solidified as top fifty wide receivers. I will say this for Robert Woods hasn't scored since Week
four though, but every week's been over seventy yards. Basically what he did yesterday maybe not the best, the highest ceiling in like standard leagues, but for PPR, I mean, what more can you ask if we are four catches for eighty nine yards yesterday. He also always runs it two or three times a game. Yesterday was three for seventeen and that's basically the same game you get from
Robert Woods each and every week. I will say this with Brandon Cooks with a fantastic game yesterday ten for a hundred, also on a rushing touchdown, so on one of the drives of the Rams have field goal on they did that thing where Jared Gofflick passes it right in front of him like one yard and and Brandon Cooks rushed to the edge and didn't get in the end zone, fell short of it, and it was very interesting, and I saw Sean McVeigh really angry and upset, and
you don't really see that with Sean McVeigh very often. And he was basically saying the Brandon Cooks, instead of going more east west, you gotta cut it up earlier, you gotta cut over earlier because the blocks are there. You gotta take your blocks and go. He went outside, and by the time he basically they were able to use the sideline as an extra defender. Right the very next time they got almost to the exact same spot, and that was on the nine yard line, they called
the reverse. I mean they were in the verse a million times and just the straight handoff of the wide receiver. It was the exact same play, but instead of throwing it forward, they just ran the reverse right, same exact play, and on that particular play, Brandon Cooks cut it right up and he scored no problem, the exact same play call just executed better. Very impressive job by Brandon Cooks, very impressive job by Sean McVeigh. Yesterday, Todd Gurley in
this one sixteen twenty and a touchdown. He also had three forty in the air. It's amazing when Todd Gurley has one sixty and one and fantasy and players that play Todd Gurley you're like, feel you survived that it wasn't that. That's that's I swear to you, that's what I felt playing Todd Girley. That's Judy felt playing Todd Gurley. He had one sixty and one, Like, at least he didn't have two and two on me, you know, at least he didn't have two touchdowns. At least you didn't
have five receptions. At least you didn't have two hundred yard. That's at the level we're at with Todd Gurley. We know that he's gunning from for the touchdown record. He's already come out and said that. Uh. And you know they talked to him after the game too. You get quotes from Todd Gurley and he says, all right, you know it was it was a good game, but we could do better, right and and that's just the mark of a great team right now and a great coach.
And what you brought up about Sean McVeigh about how you know he's he was frustrated with Brandon Cooks, but then the next time they run that play, the player actually executes what he wants him to do. That's the mark of a great coach. So we'll see if we'll see if the Jets can find that Todd Bows will not be fired today. And I understand why because if you fired Todd Bowls and Jeremy Bates right now, which absolutely deserves to be fired both with them, who do
you promote? Who's who's the head coach? There's nobody else on the staff that even has head coaching experience there is. The only one is the coach us Yeah, he coach at U C l A. But like, are we doing that? I mean, it doesn't it doesn't really make sense. So, I mean, I think they know at this point the only other winnable game on the schedule realistically is they play the Bills one more time. Is winnable? I don't know,
plages often. Twice they faced the Patriots, twice, they face the Titans, they faced the I believe the Texans, like the don't. Only other game the Jets have a chance to win and they might actually be favored in is against the Bills. That's the only other game. So let's go top five pick welcome to the club. I mean, we're all in the same club every year, Greg, Let
me stick with this, Let me stick with this. Ram was game on the other side with the Seahawks, Mike Davis Sean Penny out of nowhere twelve for one oh eight and a touchdown. Where did this come from? This is exactly what we talked about with Pete Carroll every single week we bring this up to as much as
you know. This was the game where and I wrote about Mike Davis in my uh my best Fantasy five last week of players I'm higher on than the consensus because in the games where Chris Carson was out, he played the snap right and he had at least twenty two touches in each of those games. You just can't trust anything from Pete Carroll. He and he's very similar to Bill Belichick in that way where when you think you have Pete Carroll figured out, you really don't. There
that I don't think it's Pete Carroll. I think it's the g M. Johns Schneid everything. Like, listen, we draft this dude in the first round, you're gonna play him like you can't use the Chris Carson excuse anymore, I want you to play the guy we drafted. Yeah, I mean there's definitely a chance of that. But we've also seen other games where shot Penny randomly gets involved and then the next game he's not involved, So I it
could definitely be what you're talking about. But you know, people were already asking me as we shot Penny worth the pickup. And you know, this hip injury has been constant for Chris Carson right now. So anytime you see a guy get double digit touches and run as efficiently as he is, he's definitely on our radars. So I do think that we will feel that same way about Richard Penney. And then we gotta talk about Russell Wilson, who's finally starting to rush the ball again, which is
what we saw yesterday. We're talking about Russell Wilson and another quarterback we think rushes the ball that finally turning around. We'll talk about that guy and Russell Wilson when we come back. Visit today Ye Fantasy Best Friends Forever Fantasy Sports Radio Network. That's Frank Staffel. I am. He wants
to point out something about Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson, you look over the past two weeks, this was a storyline for both his fantasy value and I guess real life value as well, was that he wasn't running the football. That's part of what makes Russell Wilson so dangerous. And last week five for forty one that was a season high, and in this week nine for nine two, which obviously he's he's exceeded. He's set a season high two weeks in a row. And I was talking to you about
this during the break. He's doing his best Carson Wentz in personation from last year where he's not throwing for a lot of yards. He hasn't exceeded two hundred and forty eight yards in any game this year, aside from Week one where he threw but he has multiple touchdown passes in every game but one he has gone. He has three touchdown passes in four of his last five games. But he's not throwing the ball all that much, not throwing for a lot of yards, so it seems like
his season has been really flukey. I do like the fact that he's been rushing the ball more, but in these more competitive games, I think that's what he's gonna have to do. I think we're on the verge of seeing that big Russell Wilson second half, like we do every single year. I do worry about some positive touchdown regression because, as we all know to this point, the Seahawks lead the league in rushing percentage, but again that touchdown percentage that means the amount of passes thrown in
which they are actually touchdowns. For Russell Wilson eight point five percent this year. His previous career high was seven percent. Last year it was six point one percent, and he led the league in touchdown passes with thirty four. He's on pace four you know, just about forty touchdown throwers this year with just two d eighteen passing yards per game. It's just it's been a really weird season for Russell Wilson. I will say I like the fact that he's been
rushing the ball more of the past two weeks. Russell Wilson, maybe that chance to buy low is upon us by it right now. It's just so weird, right But talking about a player who has thrown from multiple touchdown passes in every single game but one this year, we're talking about him as a bilow. It's uh, it's just been a kind of a statistical anomaly season for Russell Wilson. I do like the fact that he's rushing the that he is running the football more himself. Oh, it's interesting.
He's got games coming up against the Packers this week on Thursday, then the Panthers, forty Niners, Vikings, forty Niners Chiefs. You have to imagine four of his next six games will be very competitive. Those forty Niner games, maybe those are the ones where they he kind of takes a
back seat and just runs the football a lot. But Packers, Panthers, Vikings and the Chiefs, especially in Week sixteen, which is likely your fantasy championship, that's either a Sunday or Monday night game, which is two days before Christmas December, that should be a fun game. Seahawks against the Chiefs, alright, that'ould be a good one, indeed, and then Gin a quarterback that was I wanted to do in Russell Wilson impression, but we expect to run a lot and he hasn't
really done that at all this year. Yesterday, for instance, he just had two one, but he was very successful in defeating the Patriots thirty ten. The Titans just took it to New England. Marcus Mariotta, I would to say it looks back, but he looks a lot healthier than he did earlier on in the year. And I think we needed to give you more time to adjust to Matt Lafleur's offense, brand new offense, first time being in it, and la Fleura was figuring out what works for Mariota.
Mariota is figuring out what works for the floor. And over the last two games, Corey Davis has been targeted ten times and each of those outings yesterday seven and the touchdown. He looks big, he looks strong. Uh. They used him in the slot more than they have all season long, and it was very, very successful. John new Smith has looked good and he's flash. He scored touchdown back to back games as well. The Titans offense there may be something here, as they improved to five and
four yesterday. Frank, Yeah, and I've been very critical of the Titans offense all year, but the past couple of weeks they've definitely turned it around, and I think we do have to take notice of that. Mariota really stepping up to what is close to being a viable fantasy option. He certainly will be next week when he faces the Colts. We just saw what Blake Bortles did through for over three undred yards and two touchdowns, and their secondary the
Colts have been bleeding fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. So with six teams on a buy next week, especially especially, I have feeling Marcus Mariotte is going to creep into the top twelve. But overall their offense has been more efficient that that involves getting Dan Lewis more involved. I know Derrick Henry has four touchdowns in his last three games.
I'm not ready to say that Derrick Henry is back to complete fantasy relevance, but I do think he is back to being in the flex discussion, just because they are using him down near the goal line and Obviously, if their offense is playing better, they're getting closer to the goal line more frequently, so that's leading to more
touchdowns for Derrick Henry. Uh. Dean Lewis was not efficient yesterday, but still has had had twenty two touches and believe that's three straight games of at least nineteen touches for Dean Lewis. So it looks like that might be a direct correlation between. Um, you know, the Titans offense getting better is getting Dan and Lose more involved, and obviously Marcus Mariotta getting more healthy. Uh, Corey Davis loved what I saw yesterday. I asked you in Florio yesterday morning,
should I start him? Ended up not starting. Corey Davis still going to win in that league, thankfully, But um, he's just been a target monster all year long in terms of target target share. Targeted ten times yesterday on twenty four past tempts, Greg Orty one point seven percent target share yesterday. He's now it's a thirty one percent target share for the season, second in the NFL and amongst all receivers, not just wide receivers, all receivers, behind
only DeAndre Hopkins. So we could see that big second half coming for Corey Davis that we were expecting all season long. I like the way that the Titans offense has been moving in the right direction. Yeah Titans. Uh, Titans offense finally showing signs of light life. And the Titans very much in the mix in that a f C South with Texans, with the Colts and Jaguars now in a five game losing streak, much like the Newark Giants unbelievably so good to them on just a moment.
On the other side of the New England Patriots, what happened? Cal'm brady did not look great in this game. It just seems like they just didn't show up and like the game plan was weird. They didn't get James White very involved, they only had one carry. It seems like they fell behind early. Josh Gordon and Tom Brady were not really on the same page. Uh targeted twelve times and only holding four of those. Surprised that, you know, they didn't use James Whitemore in this game. It was
Sony Michelle's first game back. I know he played, you know, just below thirty percent of the snaps in this game. He did not look good, just just really weird, something you don't really see from the Patriots offense. It didn't show up, which normally you put on the head coach, but it's Bill Belichick. Um. They have the bye week next week, and they come out of the by facing the Jets, so I have a good feeling that they'll show up for that one. Greg. I think Tom Brady
has not been great though this year for fantasy purposes. Uh, you look at his last three games forty one in this game two and forty yards, zero touchdown passes. I mean remember Tom Brady was still a top five quarterback being drafted this year fantasy purposes. He has one touchdown pass or less in four of his last five games. Greg, he hasn't been great. His father Tom starting to catch
up to Tom. It seems like every time we bring this up, he's gonna come the next the next five or six games, he's gonna throw really touchdowns in every game. He hasn't been great though. Julie Ediman at nine for one oh four, that was great. Josh Gordon in that game he was an injury. Yeah, he did not come back for like the final couple of series, but they
also sat. Tom Brady sat Bryan Hoyer, so they probably just knew the game was out of reach, the bye week was coming, so they gave Julian ed him in the last couple of minutes the rest of Josh Gordon at four for eighty one. Not a great game from James White or Sonny Michelle eleven thirty one. And we said it a couple We said a week ago Rex Burke had maybe coming back. Whatever that could mean. It
may mean something, might be nothing. I don't know. Yeah, Like the running backs were already a mess in this game. Tony Michelle eleven for thirty one. He did see eleven of the I guess you want to say sixteen running back carries here he was. He was vultured by James Devlan, which just sucks for fantasy purposes. But what are you gonna do? I mean, teams just randomly throw that fullback
dive in there. We saw Buck Allen do it a bunch of times earlier on in the season, but Sony mself saw the majority of carries James White only one carry. I mean, if Rex Birkhead does come back healthy in week thirteen, like we're expecting, it's gonna go back to being a mess. Remember when he went down, we were excited because it was finally clear what we were gonna get was Sony Michelle on the early downs on goal lines and James White was going to continue to do
his thing and both floors for fantasy purposes. But with Rex Burkehead likely back in the mix, can you trust anybody? Probably still trust James White. Yeah, but Tony Michelle might might become a mess. He might be might well sat down into more of a flex option than than the RB two. We'll see. It was earlier in the year. We don't know if it was injury related related that Sony Michelle really just took over even when his actor wasn't do anything. That's that because of the injury. I
don't know. I have a feeling it was he didn't look like he was normal effective self and we knew that he was dealing with that knee injury coming into the seasons. All right. I mentioned the Jaguars they lost to the Cults yesterday. J Ramsey tweet to the Cryptic Tweets Monday more n tweet I'll pull it up for you, but it was something along lines of, uh, you guys will miss me when I'm gone kind of thing. So I don't know. This is just cryptic, cryptic tweet season.
It sounds like it's one of those things where losing hurts and he's just tweeting stupidly. Yeah. I mean, look, he's one of those guys. We know that he's going to try and make headlines off the off the field. That's what he does. Uh, this was four hours ago. When I'm gone from here, y'all gonna miss me. I ain't even tripping. We'll say this. The Ian Ramsey Jacksonville defense allowed twenty nine points in that first half. This
is not the defense that they were last season. He did not allow a point in the second half, though. I just couldn't come all the way back. They were gonna leave twenty nine seven potentially, um so whatever it was. Definitely they almost came all the way back, had a chance to win it on the final drive. A fumble unfortunately ended that. But Andrew Luck and Eric Ebron certainly got it done. Luck through three touchdowns to the five. Clearly upsta to defense. If you started Andrew look like
I did, that certainly worked out. And Eric Ebron caught two touchdowns, rushed for a touchdown. Cool on a cool play design on a lot of benches to man. Yeah, and rightfully so, because the last we saw was Jack Doyle dominating snaps and dominating targets um for the Indianapolis Colts, and then in this game he's still dominated snaps, like if if you see the snap percentage today, Like Eric Ebron did not play all that much, but he made
the most of his opportunities. He was targeted three times, caught all three sixty nine yards, two touchdowns, rushed for one as well. It sucks that this guy, and he does look like a promising player. But mo Ali Cox has kind of stepped in here and is making like a three headed tight end committee, which sucks for James, for Jack Doyle because all all three tight ends were
targeted at least three times. So I mean, if if that was just one or two guys, then we're looking at, you know, either nine or ten targets from one guy or five or six targets from two guys. But now mo Aley Cox in the mix has scored a touchdown
in back to back games. Greg Andrew luck what he's doing right now re passing touchdowns in six straight games at least three I mean there are games with four passing touchdown multiple frinkled in there as well, and and Bivona, if you're listening, if you could get that clip up and ready of the of the offensive linean quipment, he's listening. Yeah, I hope he's listening as well. But um, the offensive
lines is playing lights out. I believe it's four straight games now that Andrew Luck hasn't been sacked, the Colts offensive line has has developed into one of I would say easily top ten offensive lines in the NFL already. Yeah, they've done a nice job and they become malers along that offensive line. They finally invested in the right jatt the Quentin Nelson early jaretted a couple of the pieces. And now Andrew Luck wasn't sacked yesterday. Uh. Two quarterback
hits total. I guess a fierce pass for us. Oh, you have the best in the league. Absolutely, even without Dante Fowler, they still have one of the best pass for US is uh Bavona. Can we can we play that clip one more time? Yeah, one more time. Let's let's get that again. Quin. That's Quenton Nelson. He's broken in half pancake block the linebacker two man, the culture playing good football right now? Don't look now there are
four and five. Um. You know that that decision from Frank Reich earlier on in the season against the Texans where the Texans ended up winning that game, I was gonna end up looming large. I have a feeling down the down the end stretch here. But the Colts do have another matchup with the Texans coming up as well, so that'll be a lot of fun. Um, listen to playing good football. And Frank writs me very creative and I've been impressed with him. Hilton get started in. I know, Frankie,
you and some other people very nervous. Hilton was nervous, but I still told a lot of people to use him. Yesterday I was getting a lot of questions h t Y Hilton or Moe Harris. It was a very popular one yesterday. Neither one was phenomenal. Seven is not killer though it's not killer, but I mean against Jalen Ramsey. And I know a lot of people were bringing up the statistics of past performances of t Y Hilton going
up against the Jaguars against Jalen Ramsey and struggling. You have to realize a lot of those games were without Andrew Luck. So obviously you know when you have Jacoby Brissette and whoever else was throwing t Y Hilton the ball against this Jaguars secondary, of course te Wy Hilton was gonna be great. Still, lead the team in targets, led the team in receiving seventy seven yards. It would have helped if you got a touchdown. But I had
him ranked just barely inside my top twenty four. I think the fact that you got, you know, seventy seven yards out of him, you feel all right about that. It's not gonna have been worse. On the other side, Leonard Fournett twenty nine touches in his return, twenty four on the ground three surprising to you. Like I tweeted about it yesterday, he's not had a lot of people telling me, well, you know this is a do or
die game for the Jaguars. They need to win. Well, then why do you give up that draft compensation to get Carlos high. That's what doesn't make sense. So so that is right, like they needed to win yesterday, Why could Carlos Hide help you in too? Instead of twenty nine touches and and two point two yards per carry from Leonard four net it. Maybe you give him sixteen carries and and three or four targets, twenty touches and
you give Carlo's hide, you know, eight to ten. They feel like Leonard Ford is obviously significantly better that that. That train makes no sense like that. I don't know. I think it is, to be honest with is significantly better than Karl's tell yeah, I do. I'm a Carlos high guy, But I don't know that he's sign he's he's better, he's significantly better, I don't. I don't know.
So the Jaguars feel that way and they give there he's helping for fantasy purposes, but they're gonna run the guy into the ground like twenty nine touches, dealing with all the injuries he had. I just it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Some Maron has really regressed as the head coach. T J. Yelden, Um, so he's normal report fifty one of the past games. So yeah, t J. Yelden, you kind of got what you expected yesterday in the revenge game. Dante Montre even an r
touch shot the Revenge game. I know that he's he's been a guy that people are targeting because of air yards. Um that he was a bylow candidate, and we've seen that here he's the guy who getting targeted down the field. This offense has really become obviously a lot of Leonard four Nette, t J. Yelden, and then it's d D. Westbrook and Dante Moncrief. Clan Cole has been phased out. G J. Chark is consistently playing more snaps than him now, So I wouldn't think Dante moncre or d D. Westbrook
either one is a wide receiver three. But with six teams on a buy next week, maybe one of those guys sneaks in there. Uh. They're really the only two that you can trust in the past scheme outside of t J. Yelden, but you don't really trust him now either. It's like a borderline flex and PP by week guy. Um. Speaking of surprises, yesterday, what the hell happen when they let a falcons? This was a this was a weird one, man.
Uh they were they would have a fourteen ten and half time fine and then a lot of fourteen points in that third quarter, only had uh six points in that last quarter. Uh, surprising loss in Cleveland where they fell out the three six and one Browns, and coming off a huge victory against Washington last week, it looked like they were going in the right direction, like they might actually be able to compete and try and try and run from one of those NFC wild cards and
take later next step back here against Cleveland Browns. Uh. And we saw a few times them trying to go for it on fourth down down here the goal line and not converting. So yeah, that was killer. I mean, for all the credit that we've given Steve Sarkisian and the Falcons in the red zone, they've been phenomenal this year. This was one of those games where you kind of gotta look at look at Steve Sarkesian and and yes, say, all right, well, you know, we gotta we gotta lay
some blame on somebody here. Matt Ryan, for fantasy purposes, still phenomenal over three yards to touchdowns. You can argue that he's playing better this year than in his MVP season. Uh. Tevin Coleman four yards per carry did not do much obviously, playing from behind in a lot of this game. Uleo Jones was Julio Jones, Greg Julio Jones touchdown in two straight games. Who thought that was possible? Austin Hooper Aster game,
ten receptions, fifty six yards played. Uh in this game, really though, it's all about Nick Chubb, Baby, all about Nick Chubb. I mean ninety two yard rushing touchdown, longest rushing play in Brown's history yesterday. And we spoke about him last week that since to Carlos High Trade, he was averaging nineteen carries a game. Well, that average just went up barely because he had twenty carries in this game.
But it looks awesome And what I really really like out of this performance he actually targeted three times in the passing game, something we weren't seeing a lot out of Nick Chubb earlier, and he caught all three for thirty three yards added a touchdown. I think it's kind of a step back for Duke Johnson. While he did catch the touchdown here, did not see the volume that we were expecting in terms of targets. Obviously, we know he's never gonna do much on the ground in terms
of carrying the football. But Freddie Kitchens taking over as the offensive coordinator directly correlates with the running backs of the Cleveland Round specifically Nick Chubb. Fantasy value on the rise, Gregg rising quickly. All the past cashers though, comes down. Yes, run games going up, that means the past game is dropping. Jarvis Landry has not been the same thing. Not so good. The bigger maybe it looks good. I'll say that bigger
maybe it looks a lot better. Three touchdowns, three completions yesterday. That's what happens when with a strong run game from yesterday next. Break David Johnson and what he did yesterday. Although the Chiefs beat the Cardinals fourteen, the Cardinals number one covered and number two, we saw some life out of David Johnson twenty one carries for ninety eight yards and caught sevener septions for eighty five yards. This is a vintage
David Johnson game. Any coincidence that Bruce Arians was there calling the game, so maybe he also came up with the game plan? UM, I will say no, Greg, but I certainly think that the bye week with the with new o C Byron left, which we saw him one game before the bye, uh, he he had this by week to implement his game plan, and you know he already came out and said that he wanted to use David Johnson more close, uh, closer to how Bruce Arians was using him. And I just absolutely loved this usage.
He posted season highs all across the board, targets, nine receptions, seven receiving yards eighty five, He had a receiving touchdown, he had a rushing touchdown UM. He accounted for pretty much all of the Cardinals offense. They scored four teen points, David Johnson scored both of the touchdowns UM. And he has a phenomenal schedule coming up as well. So if you held onto David Johnson, you feel great about him
right now. I really really really love the usage that we saw out of him yesterday from UH from the new O C Byron left which for the other UM weapons in the past game, Berg Ricky Shiels Jones targeted nine times five for fifty one. I thought that was I thought that was a positive sign as well. I mean, coming out of the bye both our R s J and R Fitz getting at least nine targets in this game.
I thought Fitz would be better six for fifty. It was a good matchup going up against the Kansas City Chiefs. But again I do like the matches coming up. They have the Raiders next week, so Josh Rosen needs to play better and if he does, I think, UH, that will definitely help Larry Fitzgerald. But Fitzgerald right now is more so in the wide receiver three conversation than anything else, and especially for PPR like he's not gonna score a lot of touchdowns. We already know that he's a wide
receiver three. That's it. David Johnson, You're like, David Johnson, do what he did yesterday. The confidence is back. I'm feeling better about him. We'll see how long will last. UH for DJ And it was basically status call on the other side, of the football for the Kansas City Chiefs, Mahomes didn't have the monster game that we and two I used Kareem Hunt and daily as well. Streaming running backs against the Cardinals had been a great strategy all
season long. But we know that given how many weapons they have on the Chiefs here, that there's gonna be some games where players are gonna have to sacrifice. Um. So, look, you've gotten so many touched out of Kareem Hunt all year long. I know it would have helped if you got one here as well. But for all the good things you've gotten out of him, he'll take one bad at a bad game at a Kareem But for Tyreek,
kill monster game again. One seventeen and two touchdowns. Watching that second touchdown, right, I just don't understand it from just a defensive scheming perspective. If you watch Tyreek Hill on that second touchdown, he ran straight up the field, sat down in a zone right between three defenders, and he was they were about yards out on that second touchdown. Why are you Why are you letting him sit down in front of you like he can't run past the end zone like it just it made no sense to
me from a defensive perspective. But I mean, obviously Tyreek Kills started everywhere yesterday fantasy purposes, you'll take it. I just didn't really understand from a defensive perspective. All right, Um, it's the next game here, Uh, next game, I wanna, I wanna quickly at to Chicago and Detroit. Detroit's terrible. They're bad. Remember they beat the Packers and the Patriots. They did, and they were also the team that made Jets fans think that the Jets were back. They're not one. No,
they're definitely not back. That's for sure, Mrskus. Fantasts are bad. They're very bad. Jeriscy was fantastic three and fifty five yards passing through number one fantasy quarterback this week, three for three touchdowns and rushed forward. Nuggets Jordan Howard could not get it going at all on the ground, monstrous, disappointing average disappointment, averaging lesson gwyards of carry and on the goal line three Cohen came in and scored a touchdown.
Very very frustrating. Um Allen Robinson was awesome sixty three and two. And Anthony Miller, you said this a couple of weeks ago, Frankie's don't sleep on Anthony Miller, who now has four consecutive games with at least six targets, back to back with seven and back to back with six. He's got a touchdown in three of his last five games. Very interesting stuff from Anthony Miller right now. And he's the one who's playing in the slot. Going to continue to say it it's the year of the slot receiver.
I mean, it seems it seems like any guy that you put in the slot this year is having success. We even saw Say Jones yesterday have success in the slot against the new year Michael Flora. Yes, great call from Mike. I'm sure there was no bias. They're involved at all. But Anthony Miller four straight games of at least six targets. I don't think he has monster upside because in in normal games, I don't expect the Bears
who have to pass as much. I don't expect him to have this many this much yardage passing and this many touchdowns passing. But Anthony Miller is the guy who's playing the slot. I feel great about Allen Robinson if I own him right now, coming back yesterday said he was fully healthy looked like he was fully healthy. Led the team in targets eight targets in this game, had a season high one hundred and thirty three receiving yards
as well. Just the morning game from Jordan Howard, this is I mean, there's no matchup that gets better than Detroit Lions. I think that we all bought back into Jordan Howard a little bit too quick here. But if you look at his game log, he hasn't been very efficient this year. I don't know if that's a product of the offensive line or just you know, him regressing as a player, or teams figuring out Jordan Howard because he's been held at three point seven yards per carry
or less in every game but one this year. Uh, and it seems like he really is touchdown dependent. He hasn't had more than eighty five yards in the game, doesn't have a single one yard rushing performance this year. So Jordan Howard, let's not overrate him again the next time he faces the Lions or in good matchups. He is a touchdown or bust mid reigin to low end RB two. I don't think that he's the high end RB two that I had him ranked as this week.
On the other side of the football. Very very promising game from carry On Johnson, Gregg. I don't know if you saw this sequence yesterday where the Lions are down on the goal line and they try two times in a row to run it in with Legeric and then they went to carry on Johnson and he converted. So that is a very promising sign for me moving forward.
For carry On Johnson also was used very frequently in the past game, even with Theoretic on the field, and THEO Rick played a lot in the slot yesterday, pretty much filling in for that that Golden Tate role. Uh and THEO Rick had his seven targets six receptions, But carry On Johnson also six targets and six receptions in
this game. And I have a feeling, based on the way the Lions are playing right now, that we're gonna see more games where they're playing from behind end, which means, you know, based on Carrie On Johnson's usage in this one, I think that he is matchup proof. He's he's firmly entrenched in that RB two discussion. I wouldn't be surprised if over the second half of the season we don't see a lot of lea Garrett punt at all and even especially on the goal lines, we start to see
Carrie on Johnson using that capacity. Because carry On Johnson certainly take a step forward yesterday. I know his owners are very, very satisfied with the type of game they got. Kenny Gallady had a touchdown, six seventy eight feasted in garbage time, career high thirteen targets in this game. Marvin Jones left with an injury, so pay attention to that. Uh, if this is something that's going to linger for a few weeks, then Kenny Golladay is going to be a
target monster moving forward. But we needed to see this game out of him. Greg. If you're expecting him to take off the big time One's golden tate was traded. He disappointed us last week. Over his last three games heading into this one combined, he only had seven targets. In this game, he nearly doubled that alone, So we had thirteen targets. We need to see more out of that from Baby Tron moving forward. Speaking of surprises, wh she team defeated Tampa Bay sixteen to three, It's not
a surprised at Washington won. It's at the Tampa Buccaneers only scored three points. I wonder who gets fired first, their Cutter or Todd Bowls. I'm sure it will all happen on that what does that Black Monday or whatever? It's probably have it on the Sunday night before that
when all the coaches that are fired. Man, I mean, I think you could have made an argument for Todd Bowls to be fired at halftime yesterday, the way that the Jets just came out against a team that was two and seven, I mean, to lose by thirty one points. But we're talking about Washington right now, Greg and Tampa Bay. I mean, they got into the red zone four times in this game. It came away with one field goal. So we've already seen some speculation that they could go
back to Jamis Winston going back and forth. I don't. I don't know that that happens. I don't. I don't think it does. I think Ryan Fitzpatrick still gives them the best chance to win, but maybe they don't care about winning anymore. I mean, they problem is the head coach cares about winning. The organization doesn't at this point. Yeah,
and that's that's evening we want. I said, about Todd Bowls last absolutely that they put Josh McCowen in because they thought that gives him a better chance of waiting, and he basically did his best Sam Donald impersonation. Right. Maybe it's not the bad No, it's not. It's it's obviously the offensive system. And we realized that now, I mean,
the play calling has just been terrible. Oh and did you realize there was a report last night Greig Sam Donald was walking around the locker room without a boot yesterday. This is about as bad as it gets. Man. Again, I don't know how I keep getting into the Jets while trying to talk about Tampa Bay. But disappointing performance from Mike Evans here. Should have caught a touchdown. It wasn't the greatest throws of all time. He obviously had to, you know, kind of dive down to try and catch it,
but still should have caught it. Uh. In that line up yesterday, I started both Mike Adams, Mike Evans and Adam Humphries because I had Sammy Watkins banged up. Um, but neither one was great by any means. Um. And just when you think it's Chris Godmen getting phased out, he gets targeted seven times, catches all seven for a hundred yards. So look, there's no rhyme reason to the passing game with the Tampa Bay Bucks right now. Even O. J.
Howard had a terrible game in this one. It's really just flip coin and you don't know what you're gonna get from the Temp Bay Bucks passing tech. Do you agree, Greg? Yeah, you don't know who and that's the issue. Might like you know that. Look, they threw for freaking four hundred and six yards in this game. They throw for over three fifty every single game, Greg, But you just in this game, you thought that it would have been set up for a good Mike Evans or even Adam Humphreys performing.
It should have been Evans Rogers. He dropped the touchdown, which is a disaster. Adam humphreeze was only had three targets yesterday. With all that, Sean Jackson, Chris Godwin and as you just mentioned, christ Um Quiz Rogers and you know, from the Washington perspective, this is exactly what we expect them to do. The week before we get the Falcon was take the air to the football, run the football. A bunch put up sixteen points. Let Alex Smith game
manage guys. Reminder, Alex Smith is not a streaming quarterback. Even in a match of against the Tampa Bay Bucks, one sight and one touchdown, six point six yards per tempt, only twenty seven passing as temps uh, Adrian Peterson still touched the ball in nineteen times and in the in the other games where he touched about at least seventeen times, he had over ninety rushing yards and all of those. I think this is a product of the offensive line being banged up, which we knew coming in. They lost
a ton of their starters. No Harris five or fifty two on five targets to lead this team, Jordan Read does? I mentioned what Robert what is it? Every week? This is what Jordan Reid does every week. I mean he led the team in targets, he almost led the team in receiving. And we have six teams on a bye. So you're gonna start Jordan Read again. Next week? You've got Jeff Hireman. I mean, can you take me hire Man? Perfect time to sign off on YouTube? Uh, come up next?
Fantasy Football Frenzy, Chris Ventra, Jim Day and the Fantasy Executive Corey Parson. Great, we'll be like us. So we have a positive car. Also check out rod I mean it let an optimizer. We certainly do each and every night. Frankie went over the weekend. I went on
a Friday night thanks the Optimizer. I was like desper was like, oh my god, I gotta set of line. I don't know what to do on the Optimizer Big Main Boom. Saturdays, I had Quinn Cook in the lineup. I mean he was she was when he was over, he was under five K and I think he put up like over forty Fantasy points. He was one of the top top options from the from the Optimizer that night. Yeah, on a Friday, I think I went with ToJ Gibson. Maybe I was like, all right, that works out. It
was cool. Um, it was great and it was it was like an easy victory. You're probably going with Tod Gibson to night too. Yeah, to Gipson. Absolutely, someone's getting my all out tonight somebody I'm sure isn't playing yet, Robert Covingtons and playing yet on the tradem How do you feel about that, Jimmy Butler over the weekend? It's crazy. I texted you and you're like, what, That's exactly how
I read it. That's exactly how I said it. What. Yeah, because when I saw the report, I got an update and I like screamed in the house and he was like, what's going on? What's going on? She's freaking out? I was like traded. Yeah, it was having day sex literally sex was like why no one saw the seventy six and Judy and Judy is like what happens? Like, right, I have a deal. I mean, look, you got Judy paying attention to football. I mean you get her paying
attention to basketball. Tea. Yeah. J order dot com the lead package, Go Premium. You get everything all in one, so please check it out deiorter dot com. He's a promo code fnt s y for a special discount and start winning today. Um other ways you want to touch you out Before we wrap up, Aaron Jones is fantastic performance. This is what we've been waiting for. Frank. Yeah, and look nobody saw this coming. I believe he had over a hundred yards from scrimmage in the first quarter yesterday.
Obviously had that sixty seven yard run, didn't get that one in, but ended up punching it in twice. Anyway, in this game, UH ended up seeing twenty running back opportunities. That's carry's plus targets in this game, which is um It's definitely a season high, it's likely a career high as well. He played over seventy of the snaps. Small Williams is basically a handcuff at this point. Love love, love.
I mean, there's two things that I love from this past week, and was the usage and the performance we saw from David Johnson. And the same thing goes for Aaron Jones. Not even Mike McCarthy, because for whatever reason, hates Aaron Jones can deny this type of performance. Uh. And I think it was a very chalky game. I had him in DFS yesterday. The Dolphins had struggled mightily against the run. There's the reason why I liked Isaiah
rol last week. But the Jets of the Jets, Aaron Jones was able to make the most of his opportunity. I think he is a I think he's now a high end RB two moving forward, Greg, Yeah, I think it's a strong RB two. It's all The question won't be Um, what right he'll run the ball? It's it's how often he's gonna run the ball. He's the guy, that's how often will he get the football around? Here's what I'll say. I know Judy has this dilemma. I'm sure a lot of people have similar dilemmas to this one.
I'm starting Aaron Jones over Jordan Howard regardless of match. Um frank Were continues to run ahead of Kenyan Drake amazingly. Uh. Drake left yesterday with shoulder injury, but did second MBS six for forty four, receiving Davant Adams only four or fifty seven. Adams the trusted goal line guy as always, he was awesome. Uh yes, strick. Aaron Rodgers not having a great year either, No, he's not. He would be eleven point. Would you like to guess where Tom Brady
is ranked in terms of points per games? He's seventeen. He's seventeen. You know. I mentioned Russell Wilson earlier on in the year. Even with all the passing touchdowns he has this year sixteen. Believe that in points per game. Believe that it's a weird year for quarterbacks. Man, you have to those those were the top three right being drafted this year? Yeah, am I missing anybody? Watson, Drew Brees was inside the top five. Ish, Drew Brees, Shawn
Watson was inside the top five. Ish Andrew Luck kind of starts to make that push Drew Brees by the way to sixty five and three. Yesterday in the drumming of Cincinnati. I had this game had as many touchdowns as he did in completions. Another one of those. Another one of those I said earlier in the show, making feel the same thing, because no, but it seems like it's every single week then that Drew Brees is doing this.
It's crazy to see the MVP right now. I think Drew Brees in their conversation though, yeah he is, they were saying yesterday, he's no doubt vain like you're getting the top two in my opinion, um mark ingrama of nowhere thirteen from one oh four on the ground. He also went three or fifty eight through the eras this was the Eric Ebrown of running backs history. Yes, I would imagine he was not started in a lot of just a drubbing. Man. I got this game totally wrong.
I thought Sincinnati was gonna cover. I really liked them. A lot of people thought that too, because they saw the big win from the Saints against them. Like, we need to stop trying to create these kind of storylines when a team is good and another team is bad and they just lost their best player in a J. Green,
the Bengals are not a good team. Man, was obvious that we could have saw this one coming final game, the meat Clippers the Chargers meet, they six anything there more Melvin Gordon Keenan Allen on the end zone again, so that helps a lot, But it's it's a lot of Keenan Allen. Movin Gordon. That's what the Chargers offense is right now, not a lot of Mike Williams or Tyroll Williams, either Frenzy's up next or Frank Staff. I'm Greg Sousman. We'll do it all go tomorrow, we hope.
