Feeny. Yeah. Now's welcome your happy your host by day from mine, right, your host by God from St. Francis Practice stand ball, ladies, and tell me your happy Friday, everybody, and welcome into the Fantasy Best Friends for Ever, live on the Sports A TV Network. I am Frank Standfeld, and I'm thinking about changing the name of this show to the Fantasy Estranged Friends Forever because Frank Sussman is never here. What do you know? It's Friday, January seventeen.
Greg Susman wasn't here on Monday. He's not here today. I am here and I am joined with my good buddy Fantasy tas Jim Day. What's going on? Jim? Hey? How you doing? Frank? Thanks for having me out and always good to talk football with you. Absolutely excited to wait wait wait, wait, hold on, you said we're talking football. The reason I brought you on is because I thought we were doing a New York Yankees Fantasy Baseball preview. Well, let's go for it. They suck. Oh whoa whoa, whoa
whoa whoa. I mean, you can't be the favorite to win the World Series if you sucked. Come on, it's been plenty of favorite talking baseball. Jim, Ready, you want to sing this champions again? When winning became the only game? All right, let's knock get off. No baseball. We're not talking baseball today. I said yesterday on the show, we were all over the place cheating scandals, Odell Beckham, spankings. We re enacted it here on the show. Apparently I
ended up being the security guard. Greg Sussman was Odell Beckham. I ended up getting spanked here on the show. We're not doing any of that today. We are talking football. We are talking the NFL Conference championships this weekend to juggernaut matchups between the Tennessee Titans and the Kansas City Chiefs. And on the NFC side we have the Green Bay
Packers and the San Francisco Forty Niners. Jim, Before we get into all of that, I've gotta fill you in on a little story something that I felt earlier today. We usually like to do story time in this first first segment here, Jim. And why why would that change? Why would that change without Gregg Sussman here? You know, I'm I'm walking into work today, I'm walking from the train.
It's about twenty five degrees this morning. Do you see this haircut right here, the side of my head is basically skin and I feel like you can relate to me because you've got the short hair. Uh. I didn't really think through this decision. Obviously. I can't wear a hat in the morning because I don't want to mess up this beautiful little thing that I got going on top of my head. It's very cold here in the Northeast. Names for what that's called, but it's very cold here
in the Northeast. What am I thinking? What are you thinking? I think together, we have to we've got to grow out some hair here. Man, it's so cold. I'm built for cold. Look at this body. Cold doesn't father be. I did with cold just fine. It's hot weather I don't like, but cold I'm good with cold me and it got along famously all my life. Oh man, Yeah, I wish I could say the same, because you know what, give me ninety degrees over twenty degrees any day of
the week. Here, Jim, I feel like it's easier to dress down were less, you know, put on some shorts, were a tank top than it is to bundle up. That's just how I've always felt. I feel like I also feel like it's easier to cool down than it is to warm up. Does that make sense? It makes sense, But it's just it is what it is. I mean, you know, if I start taking those clothes off in a hot day, you know, all of a sudden people start throwing stuff. Put it back on, put it back on.
Well what about um? What about Mrs Day She's she's not throwing anything. She's the one. Alright. As I mentioned, we've got football this weekend. I'll give you some of the lines and what the totals are looking at looking like right now before we hit the break. The Tennessee Titans going up against the Kansas City Chiefs. The chief slanks seven and a half points, a total up to fifty two and a half as of now according to
the FanDuel Sports book. On the other side, in the NFC, we got the Packers going up against the San Francisco forty Niners, also seven and a half point spread. Forty six and a half is the total there, Jim, just an early glance at these totals, at these spreads, Are you surprised by the spread, because I actually saw the the Titans go down to plus seven in a few places yesterday in the middle of the week, and now
it's back up to seven and half. I already hit the Tennessee Titans at seven and a half because I have a feeling before this game closes it's going to be at seven. Are you surprised by the spreads or totals in either of these games? Not really. I mean, let's face it, both games look good, you know, on paper, as they should. Kansas City should be able to dominate Tennessee. San Francisco's defense should be able to handle Green Bay's offense such as it is this year. Um, and you know,
both of them look like they're pretty solid place. But you know, then I started thinking about last week and the solid play that was Baltimore trouncing Tennessee and not happening, and then I start thinking, and then I start thinking too much, and everything goes breaking haywire. That's why I like you, Jim. We both like to think a little bit too much, and it ends up kind of throwing us into a loop here. I know something the King used to say, Uh, paralysis by over analysis. That's why
I don't bet. I don't like to bet games or betlines or over I found we were just talking about this son the frenzy. I found it. Prop bets are what I do. I like prop bets, and I seem to be pretty good at him. I'm just sticking with props from now on, and I think that makes a lot of sense, right, especially when we have a fantasy background, so we know the matchups to exploit a little bit better, and it's easier for us to find that information. You know.
Oh well, the Tennessee Titans allowed the fifth most fantasy points against tight ends this year. Travis Kelsey should be able to have a good game, so I'm with you in that. You know, obviously we have the fantasy background, so it's easier for us to look at the profits here. And I have you know, last week I had my handy dandy trends sheet with all trends that I heard Gabe and Joe talked about throughout the course of the week on the morning show. Now, I have a bunch
of profits. Let's see how many I have here. I have two, four, six, eight, ten. I have ten profits that I'm looking at with reasoning as to why I like these profits. I'll bring these up throughout the course of the show. Uh and Jim. We'll talk about whether or not he likes him. Maybe we're in lockstep on a few of these profits. I actually tweeted out before promoting the show today, Derrick Henry's rushing prop is one
oh nine and a half. I heard you talk about this on the Fantasy Football Frenzy and I made that the poll for the for the Fantasy BFS Twitter to day. Do you like the over under in this prop? It's very easy poll. Six percent of the poll right now say that they like the over and how can you not even with it being a hundred and nine and a half. Derrick Henry's problem last week was ninety four and a half. He ran for a hundred and ninety five yards. He cleared this by over a hundred yards
last week. We'll talk more about Derrick Henry's problem we come back. We'll dive into the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tennessee Titans from a betting perspective, a DFS perspective. We'll do all that here. Fantasy PFS on the fourth grade TV network. live on the Sport Screen TV Network. I can't sing and dance without Greg Susman here, and I'm not going to subject Jim Day to singing and dancing either, because you know we could throw him up on the split screen here. I'm pretty sure no matter what we do, as long as it is not classic rock metal, whatever it might be. Oh look good, we got here. We got Tim Day dance. And I didn't think that we can make it happen without some classic rock or some
heavy metal here on the Fantasy b f F's. But there you go, Jim Day being a good sport here. Let's jump in the Kansas City Chiefs laying seven and a half the total in his game fifty two and a half. When we went to break, Jim, we were talking about Derrick Henry. I think everything in this game starts and ends with Derrick Henry the way that he is playing right now. First player in NFL history to rush for a hundred and eighty plus yards in three
straight games. He broke the record for the most rushing yards in the first four playoff games of his career five hundred and sixty one rushing yards in his first four playoff games. That is passing Terrell Davis. The Honey Badger said earlier this week that he tried to tackle Derrick Henry back in Week ten. What happened, He almost broke his jaw. I'm with you, Jim. If I see this prop here at a hundred and nine and a half, it's a big number, I get it. I'm either fading
it or I'm taking the over. And there's no way I'm betting the under on Derrick Henry right now, the way that he's playing. And if you look at the way that you can exploit the Kansas City Chiefs, it's by running the football. There. Money Night did run defense div away this year. Back in Week ten, he ran twenty three times for a hundred and eighty eight yards and two touchdowns. I think the Titans actually keep this game. I've already been on the Tennessee Titans. I think they
keep it close in this one. And I think a lot of that has to do with Derrick Henry. What say you, Jim Day? Well, I think if they're gonna keep it closer being this game, it's gonna have to be Derrick Henry. I mean, Townehill has played great this year, but it's kind of hard to count on me really. You know, he has one supremely talented rookie wide receiver. After that, it's a bunch of guys that really haven't stepped up and become that hardcore for him, so that
that's tough. Um, He's played well, don't get me wrong, but he hasn't had to do much in the playoffs so far. And I think for them to be in this game, it's gonna have to be the same type of game where they come out and have a really good plan on how to slow down Momes on defense and then on offense. You just let Derrick Henry go. He's playing for his contract at this point. He's a
free agent. If he he doesn't resign. Uh. He's playing for his big contract right now, probably his last big contract as an NFL player, So I imagine he's really trying to prove his point and make his numbers speak for themselves. And I'm with you. The number I'm looking at on FanDuel anyway is one ten and a half one or nine and a half. I would like a little better, but I'm still betting the one ten and a half on the over. I think he's gonna do it.
I think he goes right through that. Like you said, Kansas City, you know, they get looks like they get Chris Jones back, but he's more of a past rusher than a run stopper, so you know, it doesn't really help that much against Henry. I think Henry goes for the big numbers again in this game. I do think, though, unfortunately, I do think that Kansas City will cover. You think Kansas City is going to cover? Interesting. I think that the Titans defense has played extremely well in the playoffs.
Mind you, they went up against the New England Patriots, not a great offense, uh, and then last week they did a great job against Lamar Jackson. Yes, he put up garbage time production and from a fantasy perspective, that's great. They let him run around all they want, but they got after him. They call us turnovers. He had two interceptions in that game. He had a fumble loss as well. I don't think that this Titans defense is a great one by any means, but I think that they are
playing well right now. Speaking of playing well, you know, I heard the closer Chris Venture bring this up that you know, in football, a lot of it is who's hot at the right time. You don't want to peak two early throughout the course of a football season, and I think both of these teams are really kind of peeking at the right time. The Kansas City Chiefs have won seven straight games during that span. You know, they have wins over the New England Patriots. They have wins
over the Houston Texans obviously from last week. The Tennessee Titans have won seven of their last eight games as well. They have beat the Houston Texans. They just beat the m v P and the number one seed in the a f C in the Baltimore Ravens. So for all those reasons, I think that this defense is playing well enough. I think that they'll be able to keep this game close.
I think it's a lot of Derrick Henry. He's probably over third the rushing attempts again in this game, Jim, how about from a DFS perspective, if you want to use Derrick Henry this week on FanDuel, he is over nine thousand dollars. He is hundred dollars on FanDuel this week. If you want to get Derrick Henry and your Pat and Patrick Mahomes in your lineup, they're both over nine thousand. It's pretty damn tough to do, Jim. Yeah, it would be tough to get both in and still be able
to build a full team. And you know, if I'm gonna take that that shot, I think I'm gonna go with Derrick Henry just because after him, the running backs get sketchy, they do, you know, I I do think that we can get a decent game out of Rogers, even against this tough San Francisco team. You know, when a push comes to shove, Rogers seems to step forward. So I think if I have to pivot to Rogers, I think I'm okay with that. Um. But I think Derrick Henry as the top running back I think is
almost a lock for this week. Yeah, there's no doubt about it. I understand why his price is as high as as it is on Fandal hundred dollars if you're playing the two games slate with obviously all four teams combined into that slate. On Patrick Mahomes over at, I currently have one Fandel lineup put in. I'm gonna put in a few more where I have Patrick Mahomes and Derrick Henry my lineup. But yeah, you really got to scrape the bottom of the barrel if you want to
make that happen. Jim, let's go over Anthony Ferkson right now. I actually have George Kittle as my tight end. It's uh, you're basically punting wide receiver at that point, don't know. Don't even dream of getting Vante Adams in your lineup if you want to get Derrick Henry and Patrick Mahomes in there. On the other side, Jim, we saw Patrick Mahomes did last week, just reminding us the player that
he can be. The upside that he has three hundred and twenty one passing yards, five passing touchdowns, He had seven rushes for fifty three yards. I actually think his prop of over eighteen and a half rushing yards is an interesting one in this game. I could see the Tennessee Titans doing something similar to what they did last week, at least stylistically from a defensive perspective, where you know
they might give Patrick Mahomes some rushing lanes. You know they're going to try and take away the deep passes. That's that might you know, be means that they're they're going to man coverage, which means they're turning their back to Patrick Mahomes and he takes off and runs a little bit. So I do like Patrick Mahomes over eighteen and a half rushing yards. I also like Patrick Mahomes over two and a half passing touchdowns in this game,
which you are currently getting at plus money. Jim, what do you think of those two props and what do you think overall of this matchup here for Patrick Mahomes, Although honestly he's matchup proof, we know that. Yeah, I agree with you. I like that, you know, both those props seem very profitabled to me. I mean, I think
his rushing yards are definitely uh be up there. His passing yards right now at three ten point five, I think he goes over, but I think that's just a little too high for me to want to bet on. But I like his rushing prop of eighteen and a half. I definitely think he gets that um just moving around and doing what he has to do, making plays, extending plays.
I think he does that. I actually like most of the quarterback rushing yards in these games just because you know, when everything breaks down, you know they're gonna end up running uh and you know both him and Tannehill can both run. Like both of those props in this game. The passing touchdowns, that kind of hard to see him not being over that number. So I think that's an even bet. Is very nice number there. Jim from the Titans perspective, who do you think that they try to
eliminate from this game? Because I think they're going to focus in on, you know, one of Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelsey, And I think the more obvious answer might be Travis Kelsey just based on what we saw him do last week over a hundred yards, ten receptions, three touchdowns. But the last time these two teams played back in Week ten, it was Tyreek Hill who had the big game. He had eleven catches for a hundred and fifty seven
yards and a touchdown as well. So who do you think the Tennessee Titans try and take away in this game? And is that affecting the way that you're playing props? Like, are you looking at Kelsey props? Are you looking at Tyreek Hill props? Who do you think of the Tennessee Titans trying to take away in this game? Jim, I look at all the props now, I've come to find
I really like props and going through them all. So I like reading them all and see where they stand, see what they've done, how many times they've gone over under over the course of the season. So I like going through all of that stuff. But you know, those guys I tend to stay away from just because their numbers are usually too high and just taking too much of a risk I think to play them, I usually tend to stay away from them. Um. I usually go for some of the ones that are just a little
bit less obvious. I look, if I'm Tennessee, I want to double both of these guys. Just try and take both of these guys out of the game. Let's let Kansas City beat them another way. And of course they got plenty of other weapons so they can. But if I'm Tennessee, I'm thinking I want to have an over under or two on one pretty much every snap against these two guys. All right, So Jim's thinking that the
Tennessee Titans trying double bull Travis Kelsey Entireekill. That means things are going to be left open for players like Sammy Watkins, like Damian Williams. When we come back, we'll get Jim's thoughts on those players as well. It's the Fantasy BFS live on the Sportscreen TV Network. Don't go anywhere, We'll be right back. Welcome back to the Fantasy best Friends Forever No Greg Susman. I am Frank Standfeld live on the sport Screen TV Network with my good buddy Jim Day Fantasy Taz breaking down the Titans versus Chiefs. The chief lank seven and a half points to total in this game fifty two and
a half. Jim, before we hit the break, you mentioned that if you're the Tennessee Titans and they might try to do this, I don't know how six sessful they will be at actually doing it. You said that you would try and double team both Travis Kelsey and Tyreek Hill, so that means someone else is gonna be open in this game. Are you looking at Damian Williams? Are you looking at Simon Watkins? Uh? Do those matchups stand out to you? What are the player props are you looking
at in this game? Jim Well? I do. I like Damian Williams a ton uh in this game. I think he's definitely a guy who's gonna have a a real good game. I look for him to have a big game and it just seems really strong that way to me. And I like his prop I rushing and receiving yards
of over and under eighty five and a half. I know it's a pretty high number, but I think it's gonna be a type of game where we see him get a lot of passes out of the backfield and him do what he does with them, and you know, get going on the ground as well. McCoy is still not quite up to speed, not doing well right there, and I think it's all gonna be gonna be all Damian Williams all day. So I like him a lot um one of one of the props. You know, we
talked about all these different props. One of the props I kind of do, Like, now, this is a what the heck prop? You don't put a lot of money on it, but I like any time, anytime touchdown score. I like McCole Hardman at plus three thirty. Now, like I said, it's not gonna be a big dollar amount, but I like the chances he gets, you know, not only in the offensive game plan, but also in returns. You got a touchdown, So I think those those chances are high enough at plus three thirty to take a
shot at. Yeah, I think that's a I think that's a really good one. You know, mcole Hardman makes plays in the kick return game, and he might get a few deep targets per game. He's actually kind of similar to a player the Tennessee Titans have on the other side in calif Raymond, where they take like one or two deep shots per game. And you think, you'd have to think that Dorry Jackson is going to be on Tyreek Kill. They're gonna send some more safety attention towards
Tyreek Kill. They're gonna bring a safety up to try and watch Travis Kelsey as well, so perhaps mcole Hardman can get behind the defense. I don't think that's a crazy call at all. Here, Jim, uh, I'm with you. There are a few long shot beat that I am looking at. Derrick Henry to score two plus touchdowns plus two twenties. Same thing with Damian Williams. Amy, and Williams just scored three touchdowns. Believe he has six touchdowns over
his last three games. For him to score two touchdowns in this game, you're getting that a plus two eighty five. So I'm not putting a ton on that. But if you want to sprinkle something on a long shot type bet, I think Derrick Henry or Damian Williams to scored two plus touchdowns in this game. And then while we're talking about Damian Williams here, Jim, Damian Williams over three and a half receptions. I realized three and a half of running back is a pretty sizeable number. He had six
targets last week. The Tennessee Titans allowed eight point one targets per game two running backs this year. That was the third most in the NFL. So I think Damian Williams is gonna see some targets in this game. The Titans, you know, they struggle in that department. And I'm looking at his twenty six and a half receiving yards as well.
I really like both receiving props for Damian Williams and Jim, assuming that you like his rushing and receiving together, I would have to imagine that you like his receiving props just in general. Right, Yeah, I do laps totally do. I do think he's gonna be a big part of this game plan. Alright. So look, we we spoke a little bit about, you know, paying down for some players in this game. I mean, who's a cheaper player in DFS? Jim? Is it a Sammy Watkins? Are you also looking at
Nicole Hardman who on Fan Duel this week? I'm scrolling down, He's cheap. Sammy Watkins is fifty two hundred. We also have Corey Davis at five thousand. You want to get Derrick Henry in there, Jim, you want to get Pat Mahomes. Can I interest you in any of those three as salary savers this week? Yeah, there's definitely some guys here that that fall under this this realm that that work. You know, you look like you said, if you're gonna have that much jock, you're gonna have to punt somewhere,
so you might as well take some shots. And and those are some good shots to uh to take. So let's see, I'm trying to take us some good names here that I think go over in this one. Uh, yeah, you know what it's uh, you know, Sammy Watkins is one that I like last week on just two catches, you're like seventy six yards. Yeah, and that's what I'm kind of thinking of. You know. He all he needs is really one decent play to get close to his number of forty three and a half to go over.
So I like the over and that one. Um, let's see so many guys here that could really look Kaj Sharp could be somebody that steps up and makes a couple of big plays. We've seen him do that in the past. Again, not somebody you can count on, but you know, if you've got to take a shot at some of these lesser guys, and you know, it's not a bad thing. I laughed, you know when I mentioned Ferk Serve before. But he's another one. You got him real cheap. Maybe gives you something even if you get
twice what you're paying for him, then you're good. So you know, all he needs to do to hit that numbers score touchdown. H you know you're not gonna get you know, five six, seven receptions out of him, so they for him to score, it's got to be that touchdown. But it's definitely possible in this offense. Definitely possible. I do think that, you know, if you're gonna spend down for players, I would look to have more exposure of
the Kansas City Chiefs. Just you know again, Sammy Watkins, his prop uh is in the forties somewhere in terms of receiving, and he went over that again last week on just two receptions. I think, John hu Smith, if you want to spend down at tight end, the Chiefs allowed the fifth most fantasy points to tight ends this year. So just put a bow on this game here, Jim. I'm looking at Pat Mahomes over two and a half passing touchdowns, Damian Williams over his receptions and receiving yards.
That's three and a half receptions twenty six and a half receiving yards up. Ryan Tannehill under two thirty five and a half passing yards. I understand if they fall behind, he's gonna have to get back into the game. The Titans haven't really fall fallen behind in games so far in the playoffs. I think we get a lot of Derrick Henry, like the over on Derrick Henry. And then how about this one, Jim, I found this really interesting.
They have this on the on the Draft King sports book, Patrick Mahomes over twenty three and a half fantasy points. You can bet over or under on their fantasy he points. Pat Mahomes is at twenty three and a half last time you face the Titans thirty two point eight fantasy points against the Titans. He had like over fifty or over forty fantasy points last week against the Texans. That's something that interests me. Um And I'm on the Titans in this game. So I guess do you disagree agree
strongly with any of those? And what's your final prediction in this game? I know you don't like to take sides, but if you had to, it sounds like you're taking the Kansas City Chiefs, right, Jim, I am taking the Chiefs. I think I said it on the Friends. I think it was gonna be thirty thirty five. Uh in this game. I just think it's going to be a higher scoring game. It's gonna get up there. I think the over is a nice play, but I wouldn't bet it just because, hey,
it's craziness when you get into the playoffs. But I do think they both put up some points. Uh, as far as you know, I like I'd like the Ryan Tannehill. I like the under on the passing yards because I'm seeing it is two thirty and a half. I like your two thirty five and a half better. I might have to go look at that. And that's one of the things people don't realize. A lot of people get set up on one platform and don't realize that, you know, find something you like, but then go around and look
at some of the other platforms. You might find better numbers there with better odds, and every everyone is gonna be a little different when it comes to these players props, So make sure you shop around and look at the
different platforms because you might get better prices. Yeah, that's a great point, Jim, and that's something that I'm always looking to do as well, especially on player props, because these these yardage totals, I mean, they're super sharp, so um, you know, a lot of the time, if you can get a few yard difference, a five yard difference, that makes that's pretty big from a from a perspective, So you want to look all around. I agree, you're gonna
get different odds too. For example, you know you might see Damian Williams over his receiving yards propt minus one thirty somewhere. You might get it at minus one tent somewhere else. So I agree, you got to shop around when it comes to these props, right down a bunch of them that you like, kind of like I it right here, and then just kind of look around at different sports books and see where you can get the best odds. So I think that makes a lot of sense.
I'm already on the Tennessee Titans. As I mentioned, I'm not gonna touch the total in this game like an idiot, Jim an idiot. I bet the under in the Kansas City Chiefs in Texans game last week it was fifty and a half. The Kansas City Chiefs went over by themselves at fifty one points. What am I thinking? I'm staying away from the total in this game. But I'm already on the Tennessee Titans. Let's move over to the Green Bay Packers at the San Francisco forty Niners, a rematch.
They played this game back in week twelve. Jim, I know you remember it very clearly. San Francisco spanked the Green Bay Packers, bent them over the knee, pulled down their pants, and gave them a good old fashioned spanking Odell Beckham style. They won that game thirty seven to eight against the Green Bay Packers. I'm not gonna dive into the matchups much here because we've got a break coming up. But I heard Gabe talk about this on the morning show. Aaron Rodgers is somebody who holds onto
things like this. He holds these grudges, he has Vendetta's. Do you think he doesn't remember that the San Francisco forty Niners with a team that passed up on him. He wanted to play for the forty Niners. They drafted Alex Smith instead. Do you think he doesn't remember that they lost the game thirties seven to eight back in the week twelve. This is where what Jim said earlier kind of comes into play with me too, because the matchups in this game, Jim to me favor the San
Francisco forty Niners. But then I start thinking about the motivation factor for the Packers and Aaron Rodgers, and that's why I don't really feel great laying the points with the San Francisco forty Niners. How do you feel, just in general, will give me an overall perspective take on this game between the Packers and the forty Niners. Well, you know, forty Niners defense, like you said, last time,
they just squashed him. But you know you can't even though it was only what eight weeks ago, it's so different now. You know, when you get into that playoff game, especially at conference championship game, you're one game away from going to the super Bowl, which everybody is striving for. You gotta throw away all the stuff that happened in that game in week twelve. That doesn't mean half as much as what this game means, not even close. So you know, you gotta throw a lot of that stuff out.
And when you get to Aaron Rodgers, you could tell as he is one of those guys that holds onto grudges. You know he's going to be that kind of guy where he wants to go out and prove his point and that's why I say I think he's a nice pivot away from Mahomes this weekend as my second favorite quarterback option in DFS uh and in playoff leagues. Yeah, and not a lot of people are going to be on Aaron Rodgers in fantasy this weekend. All right, when we come back, we will dive into this game. It's
the packers of forty Niners. Don't go anywhere. The bfs are live on the Sports Create TV network. Welcome back to the Fantasy best Friends Forever, the Fantasy
estranged Friends Forever. No Greg Sussman surprise surprise. I am Frank Stanford, joined by the fantasy Taz Jim Day breaking down the Packers at the San Francisco forty Niners. The forty Niners laying seven and a half in this game forty six and a half point total. This open at forty five, so the total is getting bet up a little bit here. Jim I mentioned that the matchups all favor the San Francisco forty Niners, and specifically I'm looking at the ground game right. We know that at their core,
Kyle Shanahan wants to run the football. He's got a three headed beast that is Raheem Mostard, Kevin Coleman, and Matt Brita. They just faced the Vikings last week, who came into that game allowing just over a hundred yards per game. Coleman, Moister and Brita combined for a hundred and eighty rushing yards two rushing touchdowns. UM, and I think the most surprising part of that gym was that it was Tevin Coleman. It wasn't h he Most like it had been, you know, basically over the final two
months of the season. Here Green Bay comes into this game. They allowed the eighth most rushing yards per game to running backs this season, they allowed four points seven yards per carry of running backs, that was the fifth most. I think that the San Francisco forty Niners are gonna be able to have their way again in this game
on the ground gym. The question is which one. Is there a possibility that the San Francisco forty Niners we're kind of saving Tevin Coleman in that second half of the season so that he would be fresh for this playoff run, because I would not put that past Kyle Shanahan one bit. No, absolutely, I agree with you. Kyle Shanahan had his best with that last week. You know, everybody expect Moster to come out and lace it up,
and here we get all kept Devin Coleman. And it also wouldn't be surprising to me if he wanted to make sure Tevin Coleman was fully healthy for the playoff runt. Let's face it, Moster came in and was playing very well, so it wasn't like it was a major downgrade once Coleman got hurt, So why not give him a little extra time to get healthy, give him enough playing time just so he gets in, gets his legs back but then have him for the playoffs. It wouldn't surprise me.
But would I bet on Tevin Coleman being number one this week? I wouldn't because that's Kyle shanahany You know. He loves to throw different things at you. He wants you to look one way while he's doing something on the other side. He's definitely a magician when it comes to his play calling, and one of the things I like about him. So, you know, I think it's gonna be Tevin Coleman, but I wouldn't bet on so. So you said you wouldn't bet on it. Do you mean
that literally, Jim? Because we have the props right here? Are he mostly literally fifty and a half rushing yards is his problem and Hethervin Coleman is just forty and a half. You're gonna stay away from both of those rushing props this week, all right, bro? Excuse me? You're right. I actually actually have on Fandel, I have Coleman and over thirty eight and a half. And that's the only reason it's kind of making me want to look at that because thirty eight and a half is very doable.
You know what, even with a limited number of touches. Uh, So, like you said, green Bay can definitely be run on, So I might very well take the shot on that. I don't really love Mostard being so much higher than Coleman. It could very well work out that way, but I think I take the chance on the lower number and you know, just probably not as big a bet. I think that makes a lot of sense from a DFS perspective. However, Jim on Fandel, Tevin Coleman is this week obviously reactionary
to him scoring two touchdowns against the Vikings. Ver he Mostard is just fifty eight hundreds, So you want to talk about a contrarian play recency bias. Some people might be looking at Tevin Coleman if you need a chief of running back or FLEXI week, I think Whee most at fifty eight hundred dollars, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he runs for seventy yards and a touchdown
in this game against the Green Bay Packers. So from a DFS perspective, while other people might be looking at Tevin Coleman because he was the guy last week, I do like Raheem Mostert on Fandel just because he has seven hundred dollars cheaper than Tevin Coleman. Uh. You look at the defense in this game here, Jim, Obviously the forty Niners are the better all around defense. I think both teams have a very good pass rush. I think
both teams have talented corners. I would still give the edge to the San Francisco forty Niners and obviously the better run defenses with the San Francisco forty Niners as well. That's why I say all the matchups in this game favor the forty Niners. But with that being said, I still want to take the points with the Green Bay Packers here and and just kind of blindly put my trust on Aaron Rodgers in this game. I had an interesting stat How about this, Jim, tell me what you
make of this. If anything, this season, Jimmy Garoppolo was fourteen in NFL passer rating while under pressure, and Aaron Rodgers was sixteen the NFL while being pressured. In their first meeting, he was sacked five times. He had just a hundred and four passing yards in one passing touchdown. We've seen Jimmy Garoppolo gets shaky whenever there's pressure around, and I think that they'll get pressure on him this week. But based on these numbers, you can kind of say
the same thing about Aaron Rodgers. No, Jim, Oh, you can, absolutely you can. There's no doubt about it with Aaron Rodgers. I mean, if you can find a way to take Davante Adams out of the game plan, and you're really severely hurting Aaron Rodgers because it doesn't seem like he trusts anyone else, um, not enough to really get them involved in the game plan. It it always seems like
it's Davante Adams or busts for him. So if I'm San Francisco, I'm looking at that and saying, Okay, you know, if they're gonna beat us, let somebody else beat us. It's not gonna be Davante Adams. You know, you you have to bracket him. You have to do what you can to try and take him out of that game plan. So for me, you know, uh, just playoff games can be so crazy you this way, because you know, as we saw last week with the Baltimore Tennessee game, nobody
saw that coming. Everybody was all over Baltimore. Looked like it should be fairly easy. Tennessee's defense wasn't that good. Baltimore has just been going nuts over everybody all year long, both in the air and on the ground, and it just didn't happen that way. So you know, you just never know. But in this game, like you said, everything points to San France, Everything on the table points to San fran being able to win this one, and I do think they do. I think they come out of
his win. I just think it's gonna be a lot closer than what people think. Most of the San Francisco's games lately have been very close games, and if I lean anything in this game, I lean with the Packers. But I even like the total. More is being bet up a little bit from forty to forty six and a half, but I still do like the total at forty six and a half. I think we could get some points, a little bit of back and forth here with the San Francisco forty isners running the ball, throwing
the ball to George kittle Uh. And then if we think the game's gonna be close, that means that we think that there's going to be scoring, or at least I do. I like the over in this game. I've got a little bit of a two team teaser here, Jim. The Tennessee Titans teasing. They're spread up to fourteen and a half plus fourteen and a half, and then you tease the over on the Packers, so you teas it down to thirty nine and a half and you put those two together, you're getting that at minus one over
on the Draft King Sports Book. I'm gonna have to shop around and see if i could get better odds there, but that's a little too two legs teasers that I'm looking at between the total in the San fran Packer game UH and the UH the spread on the side of the Tennessee Titans. Jim, we didn't really talk about George Kittle yet. He was kind of banged up this week, limited in practice. He did return to a full practice yesterday.
He's off the injury report. He's good to go. From a DFS perspective, kind of what I was looking at with Raheemost versus Tevin Coleman, I'm looking at George Kittle over Travis Kelsey this week. George Kittle had a big game against the Green Bay Packers earlier this year, and I think everyone is gonna look at what happened last week.
Travis Kelsey three touchdowns, George Kittle did nothing. You're getting eight hundred dollars of savings on George Kittle and his target share is likely going to be similar to Travis Kelsey, maybe even better. And I think it's a good match against the Green Bay Packers as well. So do you agree with that taking the eight hundred dollars of savings on George Kittle over Travis Kelsey? And you know what other props are you looking at in this game? Are
you looking at anything George Kittle related? Well, first, on George Kittle on DFS. I played draft Kings when I played DFS because I like the DPR aspect over fand just my personal preference. So on draft Kings, George Kittle is actually hundred dollars less. You got Kelsey at seventy one hundred and you got Kittle a hundred, And I'm with you. You know, did all the news this week of him, you know, being sat and not really practicing. That doesn't scare me at all. George Kittle is gonna
be on that field. He's gonna be playing his heart out no matter what's going on with him. But he said, he's off the injury report. At this point. It was just a matter of him get some extra arrest and he'll be good to go. So I'm with you. I like having George George Kittle in this matchup. I would definitely fade uh Kelsey a little bit more, just because you know, like you said, recency bias is going to have everybody all over him. Now, it's not like you know,
the books have. I think that Kittle is not gonna have a great game. Is over and under on Van Duel for receiving yards is seventy five and a half, And to me, that that's a, you know, a little sketchy. I could see him getting close that number. I could see him going over that number. But man, that's a tough number for me to want to bet on. I think it's a it's you know, it gets really tight there. I mean when you look at his and then you look at Kelsey. I'm trying to find Kelsey's real quick.
His is seventy nine and a half. Both of them are really high, and man, it's so easy to get under that number. But let's see. You know, I think I'd rather go with receptions for Kittle and I'm not. I don't have that right in front of me. Let me see if I can find that real quick. I've got receptions on George at six and a half. You're getting plus money on the over there if you think he's gonna have a big game, you know, Yeah, right, yeah, I think I might take a little something on the
over there and just play with it. It won't be a big bet, but it would definitely be a little something just because it's plus money. I'll take a little shot there, all right, Jim, I'm gonna take the Packers plus the points here. I'm gonna take the over in this game. I really do think that both of these games are close this weekend. I think that the Packers and the Titans can hang around. It wouldn't surprise me
one bit if one of these teams wins. Outright, I'm gonna say that the super Bowl ends up being the Chiefs against the Surprise. Surprise. I'm going with the chalk picks here. Uh, what do you think regarding this game overall with the Green Bay Packers? Which side are you taking? And were there any player pross that you like that we haven't mentioned to this point in this game? Well, I like Green Bay, uh to cover, but I like
San Francisco to win. So I think San fran first case and the Super Bowl is what I'm going with as well. Um, if you're looking at props in which game we were talking about the Packers game? Yeah right, sorry, I like I like Deebo Samuel. I like a couple of his props. Uh, he's over under on total receptions is three and a half. I like that. I think he catches more than that. Um and uh, where did I have his yards? I had his yards right here? Sorry,
he's okay, Yeah, I like his his like Samuel. You know, Green Bay can give up deep passes and that more Deebo Samuel than anybody else on the team. Um. And you know he's got the highest yards per reception on the team. Things like that plays into his game. So I like him a lot in this game. To have a really decent game here and have big numbers. I like him more than I like Sanders in this one. So there's definitely some props here I like, Um, but
there's some props I don't like. You know, they got Jimmy Garoppolo pass attempts at thirty one and a half if they're doing what they want to do. He doesn't hit that number, So I think I might take a shot at the under on that one. But it's it's tight, but I think I might. Yeah, I like that one as well, Jim. How about this, I'll throw a random name out there for you. Scored a touchdown last week, Hendrick Borne. His receiving prop is twenty one and a half. He has gone over that in six of his last
eight games. He doesn't have a huge role in the offense. He's probably between three and five targets every single week, but twenty one and a half, that's a low number. I'm I'm interested in Kendrick Borne at over twenty one and a half? Can I interest you? Jim Day? Actually again, I'm vandeled it's nineteen and a half. Definitely another one
I was looking at. I agree with you on that. Uh. He usually gets a chance that one or two decent plays a game, and all he's got to do is hit one of them and he can die pass that number easily. So yeah, I'm with you on that one. I actually like Geronimo Allison's over under fourteen and a half as well. I think that's another one. That could should definitely go over. You know, it's not like he's been playing lights out, but I think he can get
over fifteen yards. Yeah, especially with Alan Zard getting banged up last week as well, I think that makes a lot of sense here of regarding Geronimo Allison, that's just a really low number. So I'm with you there, Jim. Uh, I want to thank you for joining the show today. We gotta let you go here throughout this break. We'll come back for the final segment um. But thanks Jim for joining us today. And uh, were you watching the games?

We've only got three minutes left. I'll try and recap as many of the props and bets that I'm on this week in as well as my FanDuel lineup. Let's start with that. Patrick Mahomes Derrick Henry, Damian Williams, Sammy Watkins, Emmanuel Sanders, Corey Davis, George Kittle, Raheem Mostart and the San Francisco forty Niners defense over on FanDuel this weekend. If you are playing a two game slate, that's currently
what I have in for the conference Championships. I do already have a bet in on the Tennessee Titans plus the points at plus seven and a half. I like the over on the other side with the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco forty Niners that's been bet up a little bit to forty six and a half. I like the total in that game more than I like the side as well. A few props that we've been talking about throughout the course of the show today.
Big game coming for Damian Williams. Played ninety seven percent of the snatch last week. He had six targets with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Tennessee Titans allowed eight point one targets per game to running backs this season. That was the third most in the NFL. I'm taking Damian Williams over at the and a half receptions over twenty six and a half receiving yards. And if you look over at the Draft Kings sports book, you get Patrick Mahomes.
You can bet his over under for fantasy points four points per passing touchdown to give you a three point bonus. If he goes over three hundred passing yards. His number is that twenty three and a half d K points this weekend, I'm taking the over that total. I think he's gonna make some plays with his legs. I like the over eighteen and a half rushing yards last week against the Titans, we had Patrick Mahomes have thirty two point eight excuse me, the last time he faced its Titans,
he had thirty two point eight fantasy points. Last week he had well over forty fantasy points against the Houston Texans. So I like like that this weekend as well. And which um with Jim Day. I like Garoppo under thirty one and a half pass attempts in this game. I think that they run the football. I think that's a matchup that they can exploit. Whether it's Tevin Coleman or whether it's Raheem Mostert. I'll leave that one up to you.
I do like Raheem Mostert and from a DFS perspective, just because his price is cheaper, but his prop is like ten or twelve yards higher from a rushing perspective this weekend. So there you go. I hope you have fun this weekend with the NFL Conference Championships. It's for for for Friday. You know what that means. Waiter Talk is up next with Teddy Covers and Ralph Michael's no great excusan today. Hopefully he's back on Monday. I have no clue. Thank you for watching for Jim Day Fantasy Tests.
