I saw it and I literally basically didn't hesitate and accepted it. So you let me know if I did a good job here, I am giving. I am giving away Cooper Cup and Tyler Tyrrell Williams, and I am getting in return Brandon Cooks and Zach Ertz. I lost will dis Lee in this league, so I have no tight end really, uh, and that's why I pulled the trigger. What do you think about that? Face value face vailure. I get where you're coming front. You lost dis Ley, so you're sort of in a in a buying there.

Cup is the best player in this deal. You know what? We'd like to say, best player generally wins. There's still all depends on Cooks. He's been sort of m I a of late. Uh, you're already about golf. He made fun of him all day show all day. You on the show yesterday, and now you're trade for somebody. Uh so it probably depends on that. I mean, Art's for Cup, you get your top tight ends hasn't quite been what

we expected him to be this year. Uh, I mean right now, looking at it, there's more risk on your Sorry, I prefer the Cup tie Williams side easily, especially if that guy could afford to lose SARTs. I don't know who else he has a tight end that can make it part of this as well. But looking at the trade, just at its face, I prefer the Cup side, But I do. It's not one where I would look at and go Chris is an idiot or anybody else who

made this deal. I can understand why you did it, but I just think there's more risk on your side. You were it Cooks as a being that high end wide receiver two he was at draft time, and you win this deal right there, and that's pretty easy for you. A lot most of us had Cooks over Cup by draft time, or it was really close, and then we would certainly have earths over Ty Williams. So if that goes back to being what it is, then you win. But right now, with the things are looking, I definitely

worry about your side more than his. I will throw this out there that I do if you replace Cup with Cooks, my receivers are my top three Adam Dealing, Brandon Cooks, Calvin Ridley. So I'm still okay. Uh. In terms of that, I do have Whole Beasley and guys like that on the bench. Not great bench, but my running backs were also needed help, so I have carry On Johnson, David Montgomery, Frank Gordevin's singletary round Jones, uh, and the tit En would have been a disaster. And

I'm foreign too in this league. So we'll see what happens. That was a good team, pretty good team. Yeah, we'll see what happens. He's only had one bad Fantasy week and that was against Buffalo at Buffalo in Week four. So yeah, I guess that's you know, that makes sense. He's pretty safe. Otherwise, Um,

Carson Wentz okay or Tom Brady George Carson Wentz, Tom Brady. Uh, I mean, I'm I'm more unlikely starting Carson Wentz. I do like Brady this week as the Jets on Monday Night. Jets have had trouble in the secondary year, but they are getting healthier. Al Right. I know, well, he's not a cornerback, but he could play this game. Cars with Dallas just had their issues right there. They don't really stopped any But if Donald can look good against him,

what could Carson Wentz do? Right? So I think I'm going on I have a close I had him at eight and ten, so it's close here, but I got Carson Wentz higher. Here, I'm gonna go to Carson. Yeah, yeah, I think you gotta go to cost and here I'm in the upsides. Nice Dallas. Yes, they haven't lived up to their defensive potential, I feel like because they do have talented players on defense, but they just haven't been playing up to par um. Yeah, I mean I just

Jimmy Garoppolo Gucci or or everybody else, anybody else. Daniel Jones versus Arizona. I'm taking Daniel Jones. Not because you're a Giant fan. It has nothing to do with me being a Giants fan. It has everything to do with me being a a Mullins fan. And Nikma, you're still waiting for that to happen there five and oh and you're still wait for Nigma WANs to come in. Uh. Hey, I go to every game. I got my sign out. We want Mullins, I get a chance going. You know,

we all do the wave. It doesn't help. Yeah, I just wish the forty nine is weren't this good. I haven't tried to wish you because I want to. I know that this potential for Garoppolo to light it up. It's just that he hasn't had to. He had he has had, hasn't had any attempts. He's had thirty two attempts once and thirty three attempts last week before that. because he doesn't have to. So I wish they weren't this good, so good you would have to actually throw the ball a little bit, but you'll you'll never know until until that happens. So that kind of stinks. But this matchup is beautiful at washing Tin, you know, I mean, this could be the game if they can't run the bull. But they've been running the bull the best in the league right now. So let's go back to that Julio Jones thing. Also, we didn't finish that Jalen Ramsey covering

If you know, if I just put up all that draft capital to get Jalen Ramsey and I'm going up against a guy like Julio Jones this week, you know what, I let the rest of the defense figure out what they need to do, but I'm sticking that guy on Julio Jones from start to finish that game. Everybody else can figure out what they have to do, and if you need

to make some changes everywhere else, I do it. But literally get him on the field as quickly as you can. So you're gonna put Ramsey on an island with Julio. Good luck with that Ramsey. You're gonna get burned more than once. You're gonna get burned. He might get burned a couple of times, but he'll hold his own and do a good job. And you might see Julio come out of it with a you know, four for sixty type of game. But if he doesn't get a touchdown, maybe,

but you know, I'd take my chances. If I'm the Rams, I do that in a heartbeat. Yeah, I wouldn't. What they have now, I would say, don't, but please don't bench Julio. Do not do that. Okay, I don't care for him, he's on him. Uh, he actually hasn't had

a touchdown in three weeks. Yeah. The first three weeks he had four touchdowns two and yeah and less three weeks he really hasn't had hasn't had a touchdown since and he had to know what that means another eight games or so before he ketch so streaky with the touchdowns? What is up with that? Now? He's a beast? Uh. He is the highest projected wide receiver of the week anyway. Um, so there you go, right there, Julio who says he's highest.

I'm looking at Yahoo. Yeah, who's uh? Week seven projections Julio is projected to get nineteen Fantasy points, one spot ahead of one fantasy point. I had a Cooper Cup I have at number one up against better matchup. Yeah, maybe they gotta adjust these, uh these projections. With Ramsey coming in, I guess they haven't done that yet. Um Hopkins at Indianapolis. Let's talk about who would you start this week? Harry McLaurin. I believe they're they're playing San Francisco,

tough MATCHUPA or Robbie Anderson against New England. George, I'll throw this one at you. Oh, great. So you got Sherman against Gilmore. I mean, gee, thanks, Um. I think that you said it right there. The worst corner I'm not even though I'm not throwing a bout either one of them, you know, just a rough matchup period. Even both quarterbacks are questionable. Donald throwing the one, who I know he's hot? Oh God, God give me Anderson. You

know Donald's a better quarterback. I'll go with answer. But that's the my only, my only reasoning here. I'm not a big fan, not a big fan of either one of them this way. I don't think either one of them is gonna crack top twenty five, top thirty. Yeah, it's gonna be tough for Robbie against you know, Gilmore. I'm assuming Gilmore takes some the majority of the game. I'd be shocked if not. He travels with Lauren, Yeah, I would go with mclauren too. I know what's Saffran,

but again in New England, Saffran both great defenses. I just think mclauren just gets too much of a chance. of the upside he does have. But he does have an end, an arrow trending downward. Um, you know, yeah, is there anyone else? Any other options? Dress? Uh? Not, except for maybe Cam. It becomes the back Cam's out there. I don't know how I feel about Cam right now. I'm worried about his legs. I'm worried about his shoulder, worried about a lot of things without hit the side of a freaking barn, right, I just yeah, I think I'd stick with Winston for right now. Yeah, but they're

But that, you know, you would almost have to come down to those three guys have to be pretty much every week started free. Would you say, Eric, I have Old Dale, Christian Kirks and Brandon Cooks on the war receivers Christian Kirk and Brandon Cooks trade. So

he's given away. He's only getting one receiver back, but that's fine. Uh, and he's getting two running backs. I always better to have running back. Yeah, it's always better to have running back depth. That is true. So that could boost you up, all right, So Jim says, yes, Georgia when jump in here. It's a fair deal either way. Uh Ti has also had his vibe, so while you're as a bonus there, we don't to worry about that. Generally, we like to say whoever gets the best player of

the deal wins the deal. If it's close and you're getting the best player in t u y a that point in your direction, I think this track can make sense. Uh, mixings upside Williams upside guys who are underperformed so far who might get better. Uh you can say sathing about montgomer right there. I don't I don't mind this deal. We got Fantasy Tized, Jim Dave, George Kurtz and special guest Yang on the program to take over a baby. This was Buying League two thousand dollars the first place, so eight hundreds of second place. But we're not trying to be second place. No, no, well, I mean we're doing really well right now because it wasn't Keepers League and we kept Chubb and god Win in

the last two rounds. We have Deshaun Watson, DeAndre Hopkins. We have to plug in Robby Anderson and Terry McLaurin this week, but we have we don't know who to plug in. You know what I think at the end of the day, like they're gonna be a good, good play on the buye Weeks this week. Mclauren, I mean,

like killed it last week. Yeah, I mean Bobby Anderson opens up the field for you know, everyone else around them, so you know, stuff on Gilmore on him right, Yeah, I mean, like you know, but you know, Bobby Hanson's the speed sto m. You shoot down that sideline like boom, and that that we're good. All takes is one play. You could get fifteen points from one play. And that's what we like about that. We got Mark Andrews at tight end. We're looking good. There were only bench options

right now, George edo Smith, Jeff Wilson. Yeah, we heard Josh Gordon. We and there's really nothing out there. There's really nothing. I mean, we gotta pluck so and we don't even have a running back to plug and we have girl in right now, Chubb on the by uh, which which of these bench players would you plug in first? Though, George, I mean Josh Gordon is probably not gonna play though, right well, he's ziffy and it would be a danger because you're gonna have to wait until Monday night. So

you may not have that option anyone. Lets you have somebody else in that game, right you may not know who's gonna start there first. Up by the way, I'm getting a little tired of the giant football. So we have a little little cowbu she is that an oversized novelty cowboy football? Yeah? Now this is a legitimate football, boys, and going all right, it looks huge for some reason on the camera, but uh, that's the scene here if

you have the cojones to put that football up. After last week, yeah, I know, because they lost the lost the freaking Jets. Well they lost. You let a quarterback with a did they lose two in a row? Now though? Three from three and oh to three or three? So it's not just lost a game, it's lost three in a row because they're only good against the bad teams. Do that makes sense? I think the Giants are gonna do pretty good moving forward. I mean, like, you know,

they almost back the full strength. You know, they got Danniel Jones in the pocket. Now, I'd like seeing him in the pocket. Man, he looks amasing. Yeah, he's been a little rusty, like you know, he's hitting his uh his bumping the road as a rookie here, that's a bad matchup and that is what it is. It's not gonna be perfect friendy rookie quarterback. But hey right now, I mean, at least they could start him. They can't even start Haskins in Washington. Yeah, I know, I know.

And remember thinking after the draft, all Washington was doing was throwing that they stood where they were and got Haskins. Meanwhile, the Giants had to grab Jones at six. Jones maybe the only one that is in the league. It's three years, guys, possibly, Hey, I mean Jones looks pretty good overall, and uh, you know, we're getting health he really does, he really does. Yeah, and mistakes, but he's faking booky mistakes, Golden the ball too long. You know, he's gotta learn to feel the

pressure coming on him. But those are things that you know, you can develop a feel for over time. Haskins has a lot more issues than just that, and the supporting cast hasn't really been doing it in any favors. Just got golden tape back. Shepherd's been in concussion protocol Ingram missed last week. Uh kwon Barkley, you know, And now these guys just want to come back. I know you're happy. I know, um and you got sake. I know you're a little excited. That's my worst team. I'm tuned four there,

so that's gonna be a tough climb. But yeah, I mean, you need Sa Kwan, you need these running backs. This is why it's important, I think to say running backs are the most important depth position to have. Our team looks stack, but you got a running back on the bar, you know, you gotta plug in Edo Smith. I mean that's bad. I don't want to be doing that, you

know what I'm saying. Uh, even though wide receivers, you know, you want to take them early and often in the draft, like we reiterated and uh preseason, but you know, because they're usually more consistent. I feel like they don't get hurt as much and it's always like the same top guys up there in the elite status running after this year, of course, I know, Yeah, Odell Beckham hasn't really been you know, done much. DeAndre Hopkins has been under performing,

even though he's had some decent games out there. Um, I mean they have to come on for six weeks. I mean, we all knew that Chris Godwin was gonna be number one, nuper Cup would be number three, d J. Chark would be number five. Uh, you know absolutely, we definitely picked that out. We all had that going for us. Heck, even Courtland Sutton would be a wide receiver one at this point. So yeah, we all knew that coming into the season. I mean definitely I had that clearly in

my rankings. A lot of people. I mean, you know, Chris Godwin was flying up the draft board. Yeah he was, you know, as absolutely, I was all over Godwin. I will admit that I like Godwin a lot, but that was more because Arians and Godwin just because what he does with that slop is it. Yeah, Yeah, he's getting fed big time. He's playing great football too, yeah, making some great catches. I mean I'm looking at it right now.

These are the top receivers. Chris Godwin not too. I'm not surprised that he's up there off just being number one though. And listen, I was wrong because I wasn't on god When as much because I felt like the hype was getting way too much. But of course we kept Godwin over Tyler Lockett. Which choice, right? Um? I got something for you. If you took Chris Godwin's last three games in PPR leagues and only those three games, he would still be a top twelve wide receiver on

the season. That's insane. That's insane. Well, we will say this Week three, he didn't have a very good week. He only had three catches forty yards. I believe he got banged up. It was Mike Evans week. Uh. But before that, he was killing it. He's got four plus yard games and two of them are one fifty plus. Uh yeah, he's got six touchdowns on the season in six games. He's just been absolutely destroyed. The targets fourteen targets, nine targets, twelve targets in the last three games. I mean,

he's a mantza. But look at these other receivers, Jim. You've got Michael Thomas at two. Not surprised. Not surprised. Yeah, well it is a little surprising considering they haven't had Drew Brees, right, I mean he's still keeping Michael Thomas is idiot proof. Yeah, Michael Thomas is as safe as they come. And that's what I mean about wire receives. So Cooper cup is three. Yeah, he got drafted later because he had the injury from the from the previous year,

But before that he was fantastic that whole season. He was a wire receiver one. If you think about it in two thousand, Uh was it seventeen, a couple of years ago, Yeah, two thousand seventeen. So it was just the injury that really knocked him down the board. A Mari Cooper wire receiver four right now, I know he had really one or two big, huge weeks and has hasn't been quite consistent. But you know about Ma Cooper, you drafted him in the early third round, right dropped

him in the third round in the pit League. But like, I kind of went that way because I knew Aim Marti Cooper when he went with Dallas Man. I mean, he put up something like good numbers right away, and I figured, like, you know, if I had a chance to get at him, um, a full year with that Prescott, I thought that he would be a pretty good uh obviously, but one and um, you know, I jumped Ford. I gambled on it, and it was a good play. I mean that same draft I took Antonio Brown. We all

know how that worked out. Luster But yeah, it was bad. But but see, that's the thing. That's a potential wide receiver one being taken in the third round. You're not really finding an RB one in the third round. That's the thing. Uh, you know, it's hard to find running and a lot of these running backs in the second round aren't playing up to that potential. Even running backs in the first round getting hurt so that you know, giving you zero points. Uh, you know, so you have

a d J. Chark. Wait, let's let's take the step back for a second. Sure, um, you had Austin Ekeler, who's still in the top five when he was a fifth round pick, sixth round pick. That's what I'm saying. You said, you don't get, you know, an RB one in in the third round, one who was later in. You don't get a projected RB one in the third round. You could find great running backs. Larry Jones was the third round pick. He's still a top five running back. Let's see who else we got for net was the

third round. For most of the time, mark Ingram was a fifth rounder. Chris Carson was a fourth rounder or fifth rounder. They're all RB ones right now. Well, well, my my thing is holes in your boat. That's all like rebuddal this. I like going after those wide receivers early and waiting for those running backs because you can get a running back that pops and jumps into an RB one r B two. To that, let me ask

you one question to that. We did the Pit League draft and Davis sm Tech, Davis maddock Man, I always give his name. He went, I'm just gonna call him Davis. Um. He went with that theory. How well is that working out for him? Oh? He went zero RB. He literally went zero RB. I don't think you draft took all of these upside, you know, rookie running backs, hoping they would all hit, and so far none of them hit. Not that they won't. You know, they still have funny time.

They could easily still. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, but it's just like, yeah, that's why it's told. For me, it's always about moderation. You can't go one way or the other. You've got to bothering Jones. Course, what what was your strategy? Because you the point, you the leading point, get you five and one right now? Ye, what was your strategy going into that draft? I don't know about that specific draft,

but I can tell you this. I'm playing in twelve twelve YO leagues, three draft leagus, and I'm not counting Best Ball leagues. I trying to do things differently in Best Ball. But as far as read draft legs, I play in twelve leagues. The worst league is uh the I guess the lead that I had the worst record, just three and three in the that's all the league. I said to him, I don't I like the least that's the only league out of the twelve that I did not take a running back in the first round.

And I said it during the draft, you know what, I'm gonna be a little different. It was my last draft and a little different. Here Hopkins was there. I think I had the sixth pick, maybe the fifth pick, and it went into what a Zeke went? Then the other three Uh, Camara, CMC, Bark they all went. So I didn't like. I screw it. I'll go wide receiver and it's my team I like the least because I don't have the strong winds or maybe yeah, it's a

small sample size. Maybe I just drafted badly in that league. It was. It's the one team I just don't like. I don't have a feel for. I don't feel confident about. You know, I think the numbers backing up. I'm three and three, But I think, as Jim was saying, he was one of the uh, he keeps getting screwed. On the other side of that, I keep getting lucky. I'm playing guys who aren't scoring that week, you know so,

and I'm not able to beat them. So and I realized that I've been lucky there and it's Uh, that's why I'm almost always taking a running back in the first round. I just feel much more comfortable. This is what you mocked draft, by the way, and I said this many times. I mocked drafted taking Kelsey in the first round. I always hated my team with did that, never liked my team, and I h white receiver. I just want to try something different. Thinkure A, what the hell?

Maybe people are right that you should take wide receiver. Really see what happens, and uh, as a part of the problem is Hopkins is not having your Hopkins year. I get it. But let's say I just the one team that I just don't feel comfortable with. Yeah, I mean you're right. I mean it depends on your picks too. Right, if you have a top five pick, you're gonna with that elite RB one that's gonna get all the carries, all the touches because you got to do that. You know,

those are hard to come by. And that's the whole thing about it. It's hard to find running backs that are gonna get all the touches and get fed the most, you know, and basically take all the snaps. Whereas at wide receiver, if you're a wide receiver one. You're getting pretty much all the snaps. You're on the field all the time, and that's what I like, that safety of them being out there and getting targets. But of course you gotta take your chance on those elite running backs.

But once you get past that point, it's up in the air, you know. In one of my leagues, Um, I'm five and note right now and like what I

do was the first three emails. I went after the I'm gonna have to running backs fourth round out took Patrick Mahomes and you know after that, I mean, like the I think the wide receivers even like a why receiver three or something that could be good on your team, you know, but what you know, But with that, I went like running back heavy first three rounds to Patrick Mahomes in the fourth round, and then I'll just filled

my team in after that. Man, I'm five and you're five and off five and I don't know, there you go right there. It's crazy. And we'll talk about this for after the break because I really want to get into what game just said. Going going running back heavy, you could do damn. The takeover is a fantasy frenzy takeover. You lost this lay, so you're sort of in a in a buying there. Cup is the best player in this steal, you know what we'd like to say, best player generally wins. There's still all depends on Cooks. He's been sort of m I a of late. Uh, you're worried about golf. He made fun of him all day show all day.

You have the show yesterday, and now you're trade for somebody. Uh so it probably depends on that Art's for Cup, you get the top Tights hasn't quite been what we expected him to be this year. Uh. I mean right now looking at it, there's more risk on your side. I prefer the Cup side Williams side easily, especially if that guy could afford to lose SARTs. I don't know who else he has a tight end that can make it a part of this as well. But look at the trade, just at its face. I prefer the Cup side,

but I do. It's not one where I would look like and go home, Chris is an idiot or anybody else who made this deal. I can understand why you did it, but I just think there's more risk on your side. It Cooks as up being that high end wide receiver two he was at draft time, and you win this deal right then, and it's pretty easy for you. would certainly have Earth's over Ty Williams. So if that goes back to being what it is, then you win. But right now, with the things are looking, I definitely worry about your side more than his. I will throw this out there that I do if you replace Cup with Cooks. My receivers are my top three, Adam Dealing, Brandon Cooks, Calvin Ridley. So I'm still okay. Uh. In terms of that, I do have Cole Beasley and guys

like that on the bench. Not great bench, but my running backs were also needed help, so I have carry On Johnson, David Montgomery, Frank Gordevin's singletary, Ronald Jones. Uh. And the title would have been a disaster. And I'm foreign too in this league, so we'll see what happens. That a good team
