Gregg Sussman and Frank Stampfl use most of the show for Gregg to talk about his heartbreaking loss by a fraction of a point, thanks to a last second extra point, but was started thanks to a Kirk Cousins fumble at the end of the game. You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network, Fantasy best Friends Forever. M Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Hello Yo, Hello, oh man. This is the Fantasy best Friends Forever, Fantasy Sports Radio Network. That's Frank Stanfell. I'm Gregg Susman. Hello, Hello, I hate this. I hate this. Dam I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it, I hate it. Welcome

inside the Fantasy best Friends Forever alongside Greg Susman. I am Frank Stanfell, getting you ready for Week fifteen of your Waiver wire. But before that, I'll throw it to Greg Susman for a very special message involving the Fantasy Football Playoffs. I wanna first thank you everybody. Our listeners are viewers, are watchers, right, because they listened yesterday, right, they watched and they viewed, and they reached out to us, to me yesterday, I asked me about my matchup all

night long, and that was awesome. To have people following along all night long with me, was really really cool. To see your tweets. R d M is like, that was awesome. What wasn't awesome is what took place last night. Now, I want to say this, I recognize there's a fair amount of luck that goes into this game. I was down in my league. I was up rather four point nine points against Sebastian Janikowski last night for those that

missed it. And in my league, every field goal up to forty nine yards is worth two points, an extra point is worth one point. So essentially one yard cost me being up five points. As I said yesterday, I owned the tiebreaker. Now that's one yard and anyway, and everyone's had those brutal losses. Wow, I thought you did until last night. This game as much skill as involved and being being the smart guy on draft day, being the right pickups, bidding the right amounts during the season,

there is so much luck involved. My luck started to go in a really positive direction last Thursday night when my opponent bench Derrick Henry and all forty seven of his points for Jordy Nelson in a move that flabbergasted me. It was pumped about. My luck once again went in the right way when Kenyan Drake had the most miracle touchdown of all miracle touchdowns on Sunday afternoon. So you could make the case, and rightfully so, that I should not have been that in that position that I was

on Monday night. And then the luck started to turn a little bit, and you know how these things kind of even out. It was all on a weekend, all in a day, on twenty four hour span. Jujus miss Schuster followed up Kenny and Drake's lateral after lateral with his own and get a whole bunch of yards. Robert Wood's the best wide receiver on the Rams at his lowest output of yards in any game since Week one six or seventies six or sixty one or seven sixty one.

Something happened, Frank, We'll get to it. After this, followed it up by going into Monday Night Football up four point nine points and listen, if I'm gonna lose, just just kill me, man, Just just stab it, shoot it whatever, just end it. That's not how it works, is it, Frank. It never just ends brutally on a first quarter fifty yard field goal. Ever, so the first quarter Sea basket is a thirty yard field goal. Great, all right, three

more points until I lose. Fine, going in a halftime, And this is just the story of the night, the story of luck, the story of my weekend, the story about our season as fantasy football players. Russell Wilson, there's an interception with sixteen seconds left. They were getting an

extra point or a field goal or something there. He throws an inter set going in a halftime, and I'm like, wow, my luck is on the upswide second half comes Sea Baskets, another thirty yard field goal, and of course I'm much rather the extra points, but it's another third yard field goal. I have no more margin left to spare. I am up by point, well by one point right, zero point nine zero. I'm obviously I'm un by zero point nine points.

Minnesota comes down, goes all the way, and I'm thinking I want Minnesota obviously scored nothing at all all night. So they just run the clock and run the clock and run the clock. Minnesota goes out of the one yard line, goes from a fourth down, doesn't get it. Look up like, oh my god. Of course they immediately go three and out. They kick the ball on their own side of the field. Right Minnesota comes down. I want to kick a field on Like god, it's gonna

be six three. This is a disaster. Plenty of time, lip up, come and extend it. Okay, a touchdown, make it ten three or thirteen three, that's perfect. Bobby Wagner blocks the field goal illegally, but blocks the fieldical look up. I'm like, oh my god, this is ridiculous. This is rediculous.

Now there's about five minutes to go. By fifty I believe the ball at their own forty Russell Willie Russell Wilson somehow scampers out as he tends to do and runs up to the left sideline and keeps going and going and going, and I just go luck over until we're going in for the touchdown, and we realize, and I'm talking to my group of friends, and we realized it kind of makes sense for them to go for two thirte nothing. Fourteen nothing, probably doesn't matter, but it

kind of makes sense. We go over too, so I'm reoding for a touchdown and Roody for Pete Carroll to be on my side. They score the touchdown on third and goal. They get in there and there I'm just staring at the huddle and I'm staring at Russell Wilson not leaving the field, and my hands are coping my mouth and I'm just I can't believe it. I cannot

believe it. What's the next thing that happens? Frank time out and like, oh my god, they're gonna change their minds and they go to like a little highlight package and I'm just staring silently at the television. Next thing, you know, Russell Wilson's out there and I'm like, please, no penalty? Right like they push him back the ball, They'll say screw it, just go for the extra point. They hiked the ball, and at that point, I don't

care what happens. They wind up converting it. It's fourteen nothing. There was two minutes and forty seconds to go kick it off the Minnesota and it's it. I ran around my apartment celebrating, kissing Judy just smiling ear to ear, thrilled that I somehow survived getting a kicker getting five points against me to forty year, change to go. What happens next? Throw it past the Dalvin Cook that hits

off his hands and could have been intercepted. My stomach drops, just drops at that moment, like oh God, deep breath. The very next play, Cousins scrambles to his left and you see it the whole way, two Seattle defenders converging on him and the white Kirk Cousins was playing last night. He was going down. That ball was coming out, and all I hoped for was that a big fat guy would fall on it or somehow Minnesota will recover. Neither

of those things happen. Seattle defensive back gets it, and I'm like, please just be smart, just pull a Todd Gurley right slide fall, do anything. The defenders no, no, no, no no, they want their team picture. They want their team picture. And as I see him pick it up and see him cut to that left sideline again, you

think my stomach dropped. Then my heart sank. Touch down Seattle and here comes the extra point, And now all I can hope for is a blocked extra point in a game that means nothing, in a moment that means nothing, and there goes the guy the Vikings corner off our left side of the screen dives. There's no avail, and as the ball goes to the upright, pillows start getting thrown in my apartment, cushions to start getting thrown. My couch is bare, with nothing but crumbs, and I'm just angry, saddened,

and in shock. As a look that was on my side for so much of that night. This is when the other way It started on Thursday night, as I said, with Derrick Henry not being in my opponent's lineup. It continued on Sunday with Kennyan Drake's miraculous touchdown. I was in a position I did not deserve to being, admittedly, but then you feel it, you feel that sense of hope.

And that's what I felt in Fantasy football last night, that sense of hope where I shouldn't be here, but with two minutes and forty seconds to go, I was there. I was a pre piss of that semi final, facing Todd Gurley and Brandon Cooks next week and Tyree Keil if he plays in a match off. I was not gonna be favorite in but I was there and anything could happen. As we saw this Sunday, I put up in my half point PVR League one, I want to get the exact number in this PPR league I put up.

I believe a hundred and forty two point eight points, I want to say, and my opponent had one hundred and forty two point nine. And then I'm looking at stack corrections like a my, what else am I gonna do? I compared ESPN scoring on the lateral to Kennyan Drake, to Yahoo. Maybe something's there now. I compare the same thing with Juju Smith Schuster. Maybe something there. Now. I'm at a loss for words. There is no other way. There's luck and turn. Unfortunately, there's been brutal losses and

everyone has their own story, and I respect that. I was in a league where somebody lost on Aaron Rodgers, losing a yard or two on a Neil, like he took an extra step and lost on that nil. In this round of the playoffs, I've never seen anything like that, and I felt that last night. That is as heart wrenching, as heartbreaking as this stupid game gets. That was my range of emotions, and I know my opponent on the other side, I felt the exact opposite the entire night.

And that is how it went. There's a big jolly fellow standing here in the studio just looking at using white teams. I'm not sure it's about to happen, Greggy. That is U. That is a microcosmo fantasy football for every single person ever. The joy, the excitement. I got the score wrongs one point three point two, but you got the concept. The way that this game can build you up, Greg, and in the next ten twenty minutes, whatever it might be the next second, the way that

it could tear you down. I mean, that's part of why we play, right, the roller coaster. The level of excitement, enjoy and anger and sadness that fantasy football could bring. There's no other fantasy support that could do it in that in that amount of time, that quickly, that can flip you want a dime like that, Greg, There's no other fantasy support that could do it. And that's what

makes fantasy football so fun. Sorry, Greg. And And the thing is, you know you might have heard about this with like twins they have like they have like a sampatico, right like, if one twin is like ill or feels down down in the dumps, doesn't feel right, the other twin can feel it. Greg I felt you felt you last night, man felt it inside when that extra point happened.

I was right there with you, but I was, I was, I was texting you along the way, and and when they go for two, I'm like, this is like you were the luckiest person of all time. This is insane. When I saw the fumble recovery, mind you, I'm streaming on ESPN like I've cut the chord, so I'm like a little bit behind everything, Like, oh god, oh it

was so bad, dude. I'm so sorry. If you have a horror story, if you have play aff heartbreak, because Greg I tweeted about this last night drink so many leagues were one and lost on that final drive with which meant absolutely nothing in the realm of like football and NFL, Like Kirk Cousins driving down the field and throwing a touchdown to Dalvin Cook meant nothing at all, Like in this game in standings, a lot of people we Cousins, you know, throwing Someone tweeted me last night

that they were up big and going against Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook on that final drive and lost because of it. I mean, and for every person that loses because of it, there are people that win because of it. So it goes both ways. But if you have a heartbreaking story and yes, we're gonna get to the waiver wire. If you're freaking out and you're like, oh, they're not talking about what's gonna happen this week, we're gonna talk about what's gonna happens. Yeah, we got some quarterback streams.

You're playing in a two quarterback league, running backs, wid suis, tight ends defense. We're gonna get to guarantee we'll take your calls to seven. Do you have a horror story? You won because last night I want to hear from you, either console, Greggy, make fun of Greggy, whatever you want to do. We want to hear from you. People. Let me throw this at you. We talk about luck, and we talk about the ups and the downs. Yes, sir, so I am in the Flex League. I mean that's

semi finals. I'm in the final four Reflex and expertly the Fantasy League of Experts. I believe it is called obviously one by Corey Parson and myself previously one of my frank staffle and I'm there in the final. I have to bring my belt in studio because I know where it is. It's home, it's safe, it sounds I beneath and there where I need to be. And I'm looking at the standings, and I noticed a bunch of us finished eight and five. And remember that I didn't look.

You know, it is what it is. I play who I played when then it goes to the the point scored. Alright, so its point scored. So I fished third. There's some third And normally how every bracket that I that I understand works, the three seed plays the six seed, the fourth seed plays the five seed, and then now you could recede in the next round, or you stay on your side of the brackets, depending on your playoff format. But pretty inarguably the three seed plays the six seed.

The four seed played the five seed. But I, by looking at the standings, I played the five seed and the four seed played the sixth seed, which should not have happened. Now, I scored the most points in the league last week. I had a hundred forty something or whatever. So I'm gonna I advance it doesn't affect me in any way, but it could have affected my opponent, or it could have affected the other matchup. Now, my opponent was Jake Seeley, the commissioner of the league. Jake would

have lost to anyone, So Jake is unaffected Inness. He would have lost to either players. In the other matchup, I would have beaten my opponent, which was Scott Barrett. Yes, I was. That was built up to that. I would have beaten my opponent, Scott Barrett. Scott Barrett was the sixth seed and faced the four seed, who is Frank Stafeld. As we told you on yesterday's show, it was Jordan Howard versus Todd Gurley, Scott Backart versus Frank Stanfeld, and

Frank finished within one point of beating Scott Barrett. So Scott would have lost to me in a matchup that should have taken place according to the league rules. Frank lost to Scott Barrett, but would have beaten Jake Seeley, the team he was supposed to play according to the league rules. So now what is that bad luck or is that something that should be changed? Right now, we want your thoughts on all of this. Frank and yet my my open here. How I'm feeling what's going on in my life? So I gotta ask you, given that I I found for you, You've a best fread. I was looking at it for you. How do you feel? What do you want to happen? What's going on? So I've already I've already contacted, said Commissioner Jake Sealey. We're

working to figure out what's going to happen. I haven't responded to him yet, but I see both sides of it, because here's Scott Barrett is thinking that he won a close game, and jagready told me that it was my Fantasy League automatically set up the playoff schedule, so he didn't. He didn't set up the playoffs schedule himself, so it was like an error within like the my Fantasy League

seating system, like whatever. So I understand because Scott Barrett barely won this playoff matchup, but if it wasn't the right matchup, it's just weird because now he thinks he won this close game and he's probably all excited. He's he's the guy on the opposite side of you who just barely won his playoff matchup, so he's super excited. And now for me to come in and, based on, you know, an error in the system, for me to take that away from him, Like, I don't know, I

see both sides of it. I I can't tell if I'm being too nice. Obviously I want to advance. Everybody wants to advance. I don't know. They brought up he brought up the possibility of a three person like triple threat match, but then that doesn't really seem fair either. I don't know. I'll talk to him. What do you think should happen? I don't know. Should I advance? I don't. To me, it's weird. I've never been in a situation like this. To me, it's bad that like none of

us noticed this prior. That's probably true. That's a bad Like to me, you you probably I guess you're out because it wasn't like you said anything immediately, like if you don't notice it immediately, like a second the matches were now, I was like, hey, I shouldn't do this or even on Sunday by faith in my commissioner. I get it, I get it, but I think it's I think it's on you. I think I don't want it to be on you. I want I want I want

you in. And plus I don't really want to make it on you know, some kind of technicality here, like would you really want to advance in your matchup now, Greg, based on like a stat correction? Hell, yes, I don't know. I'm just too like I'm too spiteful. I don't know if spiteful is the right word. I would just want to win out like correctly, I wouldn't want to win based on a technicality or a or a you know, STA corrects it. I don't know. It's just me, like,

I just want to win straight up. I want to sit there and say my team was better than years. It wasn't based on something that had to change in order for me to win. I just want to say my team was better than years. I'm better than you. That's what I want to be able to say. That's it. That's fine, Okay, see what happened. It's cool. I mean whatever. It's hard to go back to back in any league. It's hard to go back to back in any league.

I'm sorry. He's just I'm sorry for you. You just don't deserve to be out like I deserve to be out. I lost, you know I lost? Yes, you did, You didn't, John D. Felippo. If it makes you feel any better, the person who cost you your fantasy playoff last night, Kirk Cousins for fumbling and sucking. John D. Felippo was out as the offensive coordinator of the Minnesota like coach,

terrible game last night? How much is on him? And how much I have to credit the Seahawks defense because they played well, and you know, I have I have like a fantasy football writers Twitter that I like follow. There's a bunch of people in here like Josh Norris, Matt Camp, Matt Harmon's got Barret all these guys like a list, and I see people kind of well, it's not John D. Felippel's fault necessarily. What are we talking about here, though, because look at all the talent that

they have. I know, the alfensive line is kind of like in shambles, Well, whose fault is that? You know, it's the front office's fault? Like build a better offensive line, you know, from one year to the next. The Los Angeles Rams, once they got Sean McVeigh, they built up the offensive line like they knowingly invested in their offensive line because that's what they needed to do. And I know, you know, when you spend that much money on a

quarterback like Kirk Cousins, it limits your funds. But no one told you to sninne Kirk Cousin, bring back Case Kingdom for cheaper and trying an offensive lineman if that's what you need. But based on who you have, Kirk Cousins, Adam Feeling, Stefon Diggs, Dalvin Cook talent all over the field. Kyle Rudolph too, who's just been a Donne He's been garbage this season. He's not a bad tight end, he's a good tight end. You have talent all over the field.

There's I don't I don't see any defense of John Dee Felippo here because based on the way he's been calling the games, like there hasn't necessarily been a lot of creativity. I know some of it falls on Kirk Cousins too, and I think that really reared its ugly head last night. Everybody has always said this about Kirk Cousins, and I guess I was just kind of like a Kirk Cousins truth or a believer, and I wanted to say, you know, it's not it's not all on Kirk Cousins.

Like he's a good quarterback, but what people normally say about him is he's a compiler. He could put up stats when you need him most. He can't go out there and win a big game. We saw that again last night. It's like, at this point, it's not just like a two three games, small sample size, like this is a trend. They went into New England, they got their asses whooped. They went into Seattle, they got their

asses whooped. With all that talent on the field, at some point, it's like, all right, how many excuses are you gonna make for Kirk Cousins. If you see on that play with where they went for it on fourth down where they're on the goal line, Adam feelings wide open, and I know it's like a split decision, like you gotta make that decision right then and there. Who am I going to? I'm going to krof That's what I'm gonna go to. But Adam DeLand was wide open. And anyway,

why isn't Adam Why isn't Adam Feeling your first read there? Anyway? Why is kyrou if your first reread? It's just they're probably Kyle Rudolp being the first read on a play like that, to be fair, like huge is in the red zone. But Adam Feeland has been your guy all season long. Like if it's just who's gonna go out there and get themselves open? Adam Feeling is one of

the best route runs in the NFL. Greg and he saw that, I mean the safety felt when you know he made his cut, the safety felt he was wide open. So I don't know. I just think I'm that close. I'm gonna trust my best offensive playmaker on the team, which is Adam Feeling. I get it. YadA, YadA. We'll see how this affects the Vikings offense moving forward. Uh. You know, Mike Zimmer strikes you as a guy who would probably want a lot of run to set up the past and vice versa. But they haven't been able

to really establish the run all season long. Dalvin Cook had a receiving touchdown last night, but again they haven't They haven't run the ball all effectively this season. And I know, you know he's been hurt. Dalvin Cook has been hurt and hating types of games. And they don't even try, Like to me that Kirk Cousins had much like Jared Gothli before, he had nothing. He had nothing last night, and then they didn't give Dalvin Cook a shot to establish your own game. Why don't you take

more shots though? When you have guys like with the play with Diggs that was a phenomenal catch. You have Stefan Diggs and Adam Feeland, who are two of the best contested catch wide receivers in the NFL. Why don't he just take more shots like that where Okay, well, I'm gonna give you a fifty fifty ball down the field. Let's see what happens. You have two of the most talented wide receivers. Stefanie proved it on that play. Phenomenal, phenomenal catch down the field. I don't understand why you

don't take more shots. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. The the other problem for me, as it goes back to de Filippo, this is why he got fired. I'll tell you that is the third and ones, the fourth and runs, not just running the football, he's one freaking yard he snuck with Kirk Cousins. That worked again, and the next fourth and one roll out to the right side. Nothing. And we had seen that play earlier

on thirty two and it didn't work. And that's why John de think looks out of a job right now. Kevin Stefanski has promoted the offensive coordinator. He was promoted internally last year with the expectation that De Felipa will get a head coaching job. Um after the season, it's gonna be hard to sell a fan base and hiring guy I just got fired. You know Pat Sherman want to hire him previously. Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure the Jets already have him on speed dial. How long have

the Jets wanted De Felippo? They wanted him as the O C for a long time. I hope he's not the guy, but we'll see what happens. He just he's looked over match too, Donde Felippo. When it comes to that, Greg, let's get into the waiver wire. We gotta do this, all right, it's gonna let's get into the waiver wire. If you're still in there playoffs, semi finals, Frankie, who's the number one guy you want to pick up this week? Well,

obviously it depends on position. Who's available in your league? Obviously, I'm just gonna throw Justin Jackson's name out there. He's own on CBS. I know the number is a lot lower on Yahoo's only about fifty percent owned on Yahoo. I think he's the number one guy if he's available in your league. If you're playing to the tad team league, Um, yeah, I was helping out my soon to be brother in law last night justin Jacksonville on his ten team league.

So if he's out there, which he is in some leagues. Um, I think he's the guy owned, but facing the Kansas City Chiefs and right now, based on the information that we have, we got a report today but where it's not looking good for Melvin Gordon. I touched on that yesterday. They need this guy for a deep post season run. They need him to be healthy. I know that this

is a huge matchup. A regular season matchup does not get bigger than what it is this Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs where they can tie the Kansas City Chiefs for first in the a f C West. But they need to be smart about this. Austin Ekeler also in concussion protocol. It's gonna be hard for him to get cleared on the short week. Just three days we saw him get hurt on that on side kick

on Sunday. So it looks like Justin Jackson is gonna have his this backfield to himself going up against the Kansas City Chiefs, who have given up fantasy production to running backs all season long. Greg we just saw Kenneth Dixon run effectively and run for a touchdown. We saw Gus Edwards run for sixty plus rushing yards in that game as well, so there's fantasy production to be had.

It's a good matchup Justin Justin Jackson looks like he gonna have the backfield to himself, but outside of him, it's there's likely a lot of wide receivers if you need watch receiver help, and he still comes to mind. Tough matchup against Minnesota though, and then Dante Pettis and Curtis Samuel. I think those wide receivers and Justin Jackson. Also throw Damian Williams name in the mix because Spencer where it hasn't been practicing thus far. Yeah, I think

that makes sense. You know, it looks at Buffalo Fraggie where Lashan McCoy very questionable for this week, Chris Ivy hurts his shoulder, He's kind of questionable this week. Are you gonna do this? Mark Murphy? There again, Marcus Murphy. The you know people have made this point pretty much all season long, is that Lashaw McCoy hasn't been able

to run. I know the game that he was out, Chris Ivory did have a big game in that game, but it's not like the Bills have been a team that have been giving us a ton of fantasy production for running backs all season long. The past couple of weeks, I've been trying to buy it's into la Shawn McCoy two weeks ago in stands of Miami Dolphins. On paper, it looks like a great matchup. Last week against the

Jets on paper looks like a great matchup. We saw what he did just a couple of weeks ago against the New York Jets, and I just I don't know that you can trust really any Bills running back. I know that you know the opportunity might be there, but you know there's opportunity for some of these other guys as well, mentioned Damian Williams, Elijah McGuire, who's out there in a ton of fantasy leagues right now. I don't know if Isaia Karwell is gonna be able to go.

He just had eighty total yards and touchdown. The matchup against the Texas is not great either. I just I don't know how many people are gonna have to, even in deeper leagues, depend on a Bill's backup running back to come in and perform when really, Bills running backs haven't done it all season long. Again, to me, the most important thing when you're picking up guys this week is twofold Number one. You pick up because you need them, You pick up because you need to be a throw

him in there. That's Frank. You just mentioned you can pick up Chris Hievery, Marcus Murphy, but you're really playing Bills running back this week. Lenny Rusher is going to be Josh Allen. You know that already. So what are you hoping for from a Bills running back ash yards in three straight games? Correct, you're hoping. You're hoping they somehow fall into the end zone. That's it Bills against the Lions. And it's not the same Lions rushing sense that it has been early on in the season because

since they have had Snax Harrison. And we saw this again this week where you know, if people were getting excited about David Johnson and I realized it's David Johnson and the Cardinals offense they are very inept, but he

has not run either. It's been a direct correlation and you've seen that with the Giants as well, that since next Harrison has left that team, the Giants run defense has been terrible, and since he has joined the Detroit Lions, their run defense has really really stepped up their games.

So even on paper, whether it's you know, Marcus Murphy with the backfield to himself or Chris Ivory getting the majority of the workload if he's healthy and good to go, it's not a good match against the Detroit Lions anymore, not at all. And that's what I don't want to do that at all. But as I was saying, when you're picking up any of these guys that you have named, whether it's Elijah McGuire, whether it's Kenneth Dixon, whether it's Damian Williams, you're picking up these guys in order to

play them. You could stash him whatever you're there's there's two reasons of a player right now. It is to use them this week, or is to block your opponent from getting them. That is it. That is the only reason I'm claiming a bloody this week. That's it. What about a handcuff situation which is kind of late, but like, if Kenneth Dixon is available and you were riding the gust bus who has not looked great, you pick up Kenneth Dixon there, I think that makes a lot of sense.

I would also I throw Kenneth I'll do the handcuffed situation. God forbid, somebody gets Todd Gurley gets hurt this week. The guy everybody picked up is wrong by the way, Oh John Kelly. John Kelly is not the right guy. And it's who is Justin Davis. I believe it is. He's the guy who came in on like the final drawing. That's it's just so, that's the guy pick up. God forbid Gurley gets hurt next week. I think that makes a lot of sense. Kenneth Dixon, though I will mention him.

I think I'm a little bit higher on him than you are, and it's just you are for sure. He's trending up, whereas Gus Edwards just had a four week low in terms of snap percentage, and Kenneth Dixson has only played in the past two weeks. But he's also you know, he's seen his snaps in crazy the past two weeks. He was up over thirty percent this past week, and he's he's run very effectively over seven yards per

carry this past week. It was only you know, eight or nine carries, but he scored a touchdown and we've known it seems like Kenneth Dixon has been on this roster for like ten years now. It feels like he's been there forever. But as long as he's been there, they've talked him up. They've wanted Kenneth Dixon to be something for a long time now. So he's trending in the right direction, whereas uh, Gus Buss is trending downward. I don't really want to trust anybody because I feel

like everyone just takes away from each other. It's a three headed running back mess. But something would happen to Gus Edwards, I think Kenneth Dixon would instantly step in as like that early down give me fifteen and twenty touches easily on this team. So that's part of the reason too. It's like, obviously we're not rooting for a Gust Edwards injury, but if something were to happen Kenneth Dixon, whether this week or you know, in week sixteen, I'm

just kind of stashing him. I'm at this point it's like, you know, who you're starting lineup is pretty much correct. So if I correct, If I could stash a guy who has upside and he's one injury away from being like an RB two, then I'm gonna do that because the players who have on your bench right now are are irrelevant because unless you're just you're paying attention to a week sixteen matchups obviously, But I think Kenneth Dixson has a little bit upset here right. I'm just not

common to playing Kenneth Dixon. I'm just not. No. I agree, I don't want to play him this week either. I agree with them on that, and they're facing Tampa Bay so it's a solid matchup. But I'm just saying he's one injury away, fine from being a fifteen to twenty touch running. But when they ask you this, would you rather own Kenneth Dixon or what was this? Justin Davis's name? Which one of those guys you're on their own doesn't

see where your heads at. Uh, probably Kenneth Dixon because we've at least seen him now the past two weeks, like run effectively. But you're not gonna put but you're not. You're not gonna play him, Tod Girly get hurt. You You're gonna play this guy because you can get all the carriage. If I'm a Todd Gurley, owner's definitely Justin Davis. Just In a vacuum, though I'm not I don't know. I don't know that. If you're not a Gush Edwards or it's Hodd Gurley owner, I would take and you

and you have your starting lineup. I think I'm taking the other guy. I would take Dixon. I think he has more. You know, it's two games now where we've actually seen him run effectively. What do we know about nothing? I don't Justin Davis. I don't know if that's his name. I don't even know whither that's his name. I don't know anything about him, nothing, nothing at all. I just know that Todd Gurley goes down. I have the running back of the best offense in the NFL. Yeah, they

probably just passed the ball more. Probably they will totally more jet sweeps to Robert Woods and Brandon Cooks. That will be the whole offense for sure. I just never gonna feel comfortable in my semi final or my final paying playing Kenneth Dixon. How would we rank Damian Williams, Elijah McGuire, Kenneth Dixon, And I guess you could throw Justin Davis in there, because, like I understand, I don't care, but you don't have, they're just Davis in there. I

want to throw. I want to throw the guy that I think has the best opportunity to start. Now, is Isaiah Crow gonna play this week? Nobody knows right now what was the injury? And like, why isn't one of the Bills guys in there to that, because those guys might actually start. Those guys may have nobody a team that I haven't been able to run the football at all right, I probably leave Elijah McGuire obviously foot injury for all right, and in this time of year, injuries

conservative I would put. I would put Elijah McGuire first on that list. Yeah, it's not a great match against the Texas, but we just saw him, you know, closer Toy touches over eight you know, over eighty total yards and a touchdown. As you know, I would go Elijah McGuire. Then Damian Williams scored two touchdowns and out snapped Spencer wear out snapped him. And then I'll go with Kenneth Dixon. And I know you're much higher on Dixon than That's fine,

I'll throw. How about I know he was inactive this past week, Shark Hendrick West because if he's active. Do you think he he's familiar with this offense? Does he get more work than Damian Williams if it was like them, I can't this team ultimately chose Damian Williams over shark Ndrick West, right, yeah, I mean he's still kind of getting like into football shape. He hasn't been on roster. He could have been on the roster instead of Damians

all season long. They chose Damian Williams West. All right, So yeah, Damian Williams. You have to see what happened. I'm Spencer Ware didn't practice yesterday. We'll see what happens today. You have to pay at inturn of that dealing with shoulder and hamstring injuries. Plays on Thursday night, So yeah, I think it's well before then because Elijah McGuire plays Saturday. Um, but obviously if where can't go, I think Dammy Williams

shops at the top of that. And that's on Thursday, obviously. Yes, you say, Raik your calls four eight, four, three, six eight seven nine. You mentioned the wide receivers earlier. Why don't we go through that again. We're kinda hit on the running backs. Discussed that pretty well. I want to get to your calls and four, three, six, seven nine. Let me get into the wide receivers that

either are worth picking up right now this week. It will help us now, Yes, I mentioned Kenny Still is coming off a huge game where he was up over a hundred and thirty yards. Believe Ryan Tannehills through the ball nineteen times in that game and nine of those targets, it was nineteen attempts. Nine of those targets went to Kenny Stills, so just a massive target share. The squeaky

wheel gets the oil. We've seen that the past two weeks now, since Kenny Stills has come out and said, you know, I can't throw the football to myself, he has been forced fed the ball and he performed admirably in that game against New England Patriots eight for one, five and one. The problem here, Greg, Is. They're facing the Minnesota Vikings, so he plays on the outside. There's no secret about that. Kenny Stills is not playing a slot. He's likely going to see Xavier Rhodes. So it's not

a great matchup. And as you've referenced, and we're gonna continue to talk about you, when you add players at this point in the season, you're you need to add them in order to start them. So I don't know how comfortable I'm gonna feel starting Kenny Stills against my against the Minnesota Vikings. But he has performed very, very admirably the past two weeks. Dante Pettis, I've been the guy. I'm the guy banging the drum for Dante Pettis. He's

my guy. Uh. He's going up against the Seattle Seahawks, the same team that he two weeks ago when he went off for over a hundred yards and two touchdowns. He now has at least six targets in four straight games.

He also has four touchdowns in his last three games. Um, and you know I always talk about this as well, Greg, when they give an opportunity to a young player, a rookie wide receiver on the one yard line and they they're basically saying, Hey, we want you to win against your cornerback on the one yard line and we're going to throw the football and we're going to trust you in the spot, and we need you to be open because it's on the one line, Like there's no margin

for error. Right. Dante Pettis did exactly that and he scored a touchdown. So they're going to continue to go his way. He he led the team and snaps this past week. Uh. You know, as I referenced last week, I was not worried about Marky's goodwin. Same case here. Dante Pettis is the guy they're they're building him up for the future, getting him ready for next year. So I'm very excited about Dante Pettis again facing the Seahawks

this week, who he tours two weeks ago. Uh. And then Curtis Samuel who has just been incredibly consistent, and Craig in my half point Ppry. I looked this up last night. So he's been up, he's been over double he's been in double digits four four games in his

last six. He's just been incredibly incredibly consistent. Yeah, you mentioned five of his last six going back to Week nine against Tampa Bay where he had that was a big game where he had the rushing touchdown where he ran all over the field in nearly twenty fantasy points in that game, but at least the eight targets in each of his past two games going up against New Orleans Saints this week, the Saints did a good job against the Tampa Bay Books wide receivers, so kudos to them,

but um, as you know, I I give myself a little pat of them back here. Devin Funches is being phased out of this offense. He played the lowest naps out of all their wide receivers and he had another week to get healthy. So you can't just sit here and say, oh, well, he's getting his feet underneath the like. No, they're phasing him out of the offense. They know that

he's an impending free agent. They have been, you know, beat writers already talking about this that d J. Moore and Curtis Samuel are taking over as the starting wide receivers of this team. And because Curtis Samuels on the field, he's getting targeted more. And it should be a shootout against New Orleans Saints. So I think Curtis Hamuel was definitely in play as a wide receiver three, and I just think there's some like deeper league targets that we

should mention. Day Shawn Hamilton's absolutely home going up against the Cleveland brown the Browns he played in the slot this past week. He had seven receptions right around fifty yards, scored a touchdown. So I don't know that he has huge upside, but he's filling in that slot role that Emmanuel Sanders was playing, and he was targeted heavily one week ago and he was on the field a lot. Mentioned Tim Patrick, he had ten targets as well. I think Dave Shawn Hamilton is safer, but Tim Patrick a

guy that we didn't mention. He started on the outside with Curtis sam Auel and you have Hamilton's and the slot. They're both going up against the Browns, which is not a terrible matchup, but it is a better matchup for the slot receiver. Trent Shurfield, Who who the heck is this guy? Again? Just deeper leagues? Uh, he played a lot for the Arizona Cardinals and uh, you know he was targeted heavily in that game. Isaiah McKenzie, who took over the slot receiver role for Za Jones. A Jones,

they moved to the outside. Um, yeah, he scored a rushing touchdown. He's very electric. They're excited about him. It sucks first A Jones, I was excited about him. I was hoping that they would leaves A Jones in the slot. But it's clear that they like Isaiah mackenzie in that role. And they faced the Detroit Lyons, who um, they have strong corners on the outside with with Darius Slay and then Mackenzie and the slot. So those are just some

deeper wide receivers. All right, the guys that I mentioned earlier, still seven people? Just alright? Sorry, right, let me do this. Tell me to mention why re series? I understand. I want to. I want to break it down easier for everybody. Okay, not yelling at the same side. All right, If you could start one Denver wide receiver this week, Courtland Sutton, DeShawn Hamilton's Tim Patrick. Which one of those three would you start? It depends on the health of Denzel Award

because he didn't play this past week. Um, so that's something that I would pay attention to. If Denzel Award is active, it would be DeShawn Hamilton's over Sun over Sun. If if Denzel Award is not active, that would open up more opportunities for Courtland Suton on the outside. Denzil Award has played phenomenally this season, so if he's active, it's it's Hamilton's. If he's not active, I would go with Sun all right, now, let me use that person

Sutton slash Hamilton, depending on who you start. Would you rather have that guy this week or Kenny Stills. This is the decision our listeners have to make. It's a tough one because it's the matchup, but it's like the unfamiliarity with Dashawn Hamiltons can trust him after just one game versus the tough matchup. Yeah, I would go with one of the Broncos guys. You know, we talked about trends right trending in the right direction right now. I

just saw a massive targets share. But going up against Minnesota, he saw with their defense did against the Seattle wide receivers last night, and it was probably the game plan of Seattle, like they didn't need to pass in order to win this matchup. But I don't want to trust Kenny Stills against Xavier Rhodes and the Vikings secondary in the you know, in week fifteen, in the second round of the playoffs. I don't want to do that. Would you rather start one of these guy, one of the

Broncos or Dante Pettis. It's Dante Pettis for me, not best or Curtis Samuel. That makes things a little bit more interesting. Um yeah, I would go with Curtis Samuel. Just the floor that he's provided, you know, the past five of the past six weeks, what he's been able to do. I think we get a lot of points between New Orleans and Carolina. It's close. I like both guys a lot, but Samuel Samuel has been has been

very safe. And you know why. While I mentioned Dante Pettis, what he did against the Seahawks last time, I'm sure you know the watch the tape and try and stop and prevent Pettis from doing that again this week. I still do like him, but it's close. I'll take Curtis Samuel, all right. So that means Frank ranks the wide receivers this week that you need to pick up Curtis Samuel, Dante Pettis, Dave Seawan Hamilton, and he Stills. That's what

you're telling, that's what you're saying. Yeah, okay, just based on this week. Okay, and that's what that's what we care about. Obviously. Before you get to your calls, let me just do I agree with that? UM? I think I do. To be honest with you, I'm definitely taking the Denver guy over Kenny Stills against Minnesota. There's a lock for me. I'm closer on Dave Shawn Hamilton versus Dante Pettis. To be honest with you, Curtis Samuels might number one given the consistency we've seen over the last

six weeks. Curtis Sammons my number one for sure. Then I might go with uh, then they might go with DaShan Hamilton's, then Donte Patterson, the Kenny Stills nice tight end this week. It's funny you have cj us on a listed here. Everywhere I've looked about Waiver wire tight ends, everyone was USAMA and I'm trying to figure out why, like every week, the same thing, just against Oakland. That's why Greg, we have USA was on this list every week three for thirty three for thirty three thirty, and

that's it. It's been than zero. It's not even like it's not even favorite to three. Hey, I get it. However, been off teams for weeks, I don't have you've been streaming tight end. It's just like I don't want I don't want I don't want USA. I don't want them. It's just a good match against Oakland can Ian Thomas. He's the number one tight end of the Raiders have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends of Sea Jeff Driscolls as the corner man. I agree with

you one I and Thomas would Thomas. But then you know if Tom, if someone picked up Thomas last week and you're looking at Vernon Davis as the Jordan Reed, replace him with Josh Johnson as his quarterback, or c J Usama or you know these guys that have been dropped Kyle Rudolph, you mentioned Trey Burton. It's like once you get outside that top eight or ten, it's it's just a crap shoot. So people might have picked up Ian Thomas, and if you're just looking at match up alone,

I think you Usama's the next guy yup. Just because the Raiders they've allowed the most fantasy points the tight ends of the seas. Let me throw two more names out of you. Anthony Ferkster, No Janu Smith in Tennessee. Obviously, no Delaney Walker in Tennessee. Berkster has got more playing times to touchdown a couple of weeks ago. Vernie Davis, No Jordan Reed or those guys ahead of C. J. Usama, They're not for me. I would I would take Ferkser over Vernon Davis um just because I don't know what

to expect from Josh Johnson as the quarterback here. He didn't target the tight end frequently even when he came in last week, and folks are you know he was kind of eating into Johnny Smith's production even when Smith was healthy. So neither matchup is great. John Smith's going up, I mean, folks are going up against the Giants who are like middle of the pack, and then the Jaguars are one spot higher them in terms of fantasy points allowed to tight end. So it's Vernon Davis against the Jaguars,

it's firks Or against the Giants. I'll take Ferkster over over Davis. But I like Usama and Ian Thomas more than both of those guys. I really don't like Jasama. It's literally the matchup planes. Guy sucks. Sorry who? So who do you like that? I'd take Bernie Davis the Jaguars with Josh Johnson is your quarterback. I know that you're splitting hairs at this point. Correct, correct, Yeah, but at least Usama seeing targets. Barnie Davis will too. But do we know that? Do we know Josh Johnson's gonna

target necessarily? It seemed like he targeted wide receivers more last week. Jameson Krawer had a long touchdown. I'm not I'm not too for it. I mean, if you have to start any of these guys, like God bless you, eight or four eight, four, three, six, eight seven nine. Streaming defense is this week. I know we've tried to prepare for this. I've had the Lions for a while against the Bills. You could also have the Bills against the Lions. That's one we expect a low scoring affair.

Jacksonville she was probably owned right now obviously against Washington and Josh Johnson. You want that anybody else? I think the top three are the Falcons at home against the Cardinals, it is bad. But Josh Rosen is like, what's worse the Falcons defense or the Cardinals offense? Good point. I would say the Cardinals offense good point. Gosh Rosen has not made any plays the past couple of weeks. They

can't get the run game going with David Johnson. I know that, you know, they just beat the Packers a few weeks ago, but um see, and that was a little fluke. I just don't I trust the Falcons if it's more than I trust the Cardinals offense. And then it's two two teams that are facing each other, of the Lions against the Bills, how many points are gonna be scoring? I like those better than the Falcons. Mantles with you. I like those defenses that I was debating that,

I like those defense is better. Uh, then I'll go with the Falcons. And and Jack's do you like the No? I wanted to. I wanted to rank the Bills the highest, but they just got torched by the Jets, right, and it's spot at home and at home again, So I probably had the Lions ahead of the Bills. You think so? I think just because the lines I know they put the Cardinals are inconfident. Yeah, but Josh Allen very turnover prone while he does rush for a lot. I mean

the Jets who can't get turnovers against anybody. Just had two interceptions against Josh Dowen. Two of the easiest interceptions you've ever seen your life. All right, here we go with you eight four four eight four three six nine eight four four eight four three six seven nine. But sign off on YouTube now the friends. He's up next with Corey Venture and Jim damn sure I'll get killed for losing my point one last night and then joking the matchup you get Corey Glaver fee. What I'm saying,

how are you losing Derrick Henry forty nine points? I mean the same way anybody else loses to Derrick Henry scoring forty nine point Come on, Corey, if you're trying pick and he gives you eight points in a PPR and Derrick Henry gives you forty nine, we'll sit here and make jokes. You would have the same thing. Speaking of which, in the g ST before he made excuses that he lost Levy on Bell and he didn't get Uh, you didn't get James Conner this year. No, that's why

my team was so bad. You know you're in. I tried to pick up Philip Lindsay in the Carton League. Anything happened to me? Yeah, I drive to Levy on bell second. Overall, I didn't get James Conner. I did pick up Phillip Lindsay. I did pick up Tyler boy. I did you d d J Moore? Your boy is in the second round of the playoffs and that man is at home. Thank you so much for watching a subscribe like rate and give us five stars. Leave a comment as well, going up a couple of minutes taking

your calls four four three sixty seven nine. Let's go out to Stephen in Massachusetts. What's up, Stephen? Hey, what's up? Greggy? Going on? Frank, what's up? Man? I'm doing all right. I ended up winning up because because of that last play Tho digs that that nation little four yacht catch I'd ended up working out for Meigs Feeland at the four yard catch. H No, the digs went on, Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, that's awesome. Man. At least you're on the winning side

of things all. It really came down to that last welick because before that, I honestly thought I was gonna lose, but because I ended up winning, I have two questions with two guys in my lineup, and I'll try to be fast in my flex right now, I have Josh Gordon in there, and that's because I'm not sure what's going on with Spencer Ware, because you guys touched on it that it wasn't practicing and that Damian Willens would be the next man up. So if I have a

question with that, if where is out? Should I just go and uh try to pick up Damian Williams to play him in my flex position? Or should I just keep Josh Gordon in there? And this is a PPR league, it's a good question to Spencer Ware out. Would you rather have Damian Williams against the Chargers or Josh Gordon against the Steelers who pretty stout cornerbacks on the outside there. If spencer Ware is Spencer where is out? I would go Williams. Yeah, when it's close, I I always say this,

I'm lean with the running back. So let's go out to Brian in Minnesota. What's up, Brian? How's it going? Guys? Go all right, what's up? I got a pretty stout depth at running back. I got Barkley Camara, and I also have Nick Chubb and David Johnson, so I'm looking to start one of those two. Had my flex and just looking at the production. Obviously, Chubb has been more consistent, but Johnson's up against the Falcons, so I'm trying to figure out who I should type for put in there

for my semifinal match. I haven't done my running back rankings yet, but I can in no way condoned starting David Johnson over the way the way that Chubb is playing, He's just been He's been matchup proof, he's been game flow proof. Even in games where they getting blown out, Chubb is still scoring touchdowns. Scored another touchdown last week. Going up against the Denver Broncos this week, they're they're

more of like a middling defense against the run. They were they were getting shredded earlier on in the season, but they've kind of rectified that. But still Nick Chubb is uh, he's he's matchup proof. He I have to start him over over David Johnson. That's just me personally. Greg agree, Yeah, I agree. I don't think you can. I don't think you could start David Johnson. Chum you can't overthink the amount of carriers. He had a production.

He gets you had a great David Johnson stat on yesterday's show or after the show where he had a ten yard reception and infinis with the eleven yards and like that. Dude, he had a he had a long reception of ten yards yesterday he had eight receptions for twelve yards. His other seven receptions went for two yards. What that's gonna That's gonna do it for us?
