Of course, we'll get into just so we're betting. How's your weekend? A weekend was good. The weather it actually kind of held up like a period. It was gonna rain yesterday, but it didn't go late last night. So do you come back? I came back
yesterday morning because you were in South Carolina. I was in South Carolina, Charleston was I said that on Friday, and then a bunch of people in my ear were like, no, he said Fort Lauderdale. I'm like, no, that's part that someone else's bachelor party. Right now, that's totally much. It's all good mentioned Fort lord Dale bachelor party. So it's my bachlor party. Yes, I'm sorry, it's okay, Martina, I forgot, It's all I was in Charleston, South Carolina. How was
the weather there? Because here, I mean even dating back to like Thursday, it like rained every day. Greg, you couldn't ask for a better weather in South Carolina. Oh my god, you always stand well. That's like I do. I that is the number one I think that I do well. Thing that Greg does well. The show obviously, I think that was good man, that was good. I do sand well. I had a great time. It's a great Batcher party. I did realize for the first time how old I am. I think only been talking about
it for three years now. It really and I say, Greg's fifty years old, and it's like it really hit because we were at a bar and it's a popular location for bachelor and Matchelar parties. We went to the bar. Actually back to back nights on Friday and Saturday. Was an awesome bar, awesome rooftop, awesome drinks, pretty reasonably priced. And we see these girls. It was like the sashes, right, Like, oh so I wanted to introduce our bacheld of their bachelor, right,
you never know what could haven't wing the bachelor bachelorrette parties? Right? Except doesn't surprise me with Greg, except it was not a bachelorette party. It was a twenty first birthday party. I was like, oh my god, here we got forty year old Greg approaching twenty one year old. Thirty one year old Greg approaching twenty one year old old. She's like, just leave me, like the real ages in there for once, right, thirty one year old Greg approaching twenty one year old woman.
You have so much to leary, Greg. You could have talked him so much about life. I could have. I didn't. How did that end? Uh? Mostly with us, you know, my group just kind of just staring. Oh gosh, there was a lot of a lot of start, lots of staring. By the third we're all married and engaged, so it was all the thirty year olds kind of just staring at the new talent that was out there in charm talent. Yeah, it was great at a great time. A lot of beach, A lot of beach for me this weekend, a lot
of things. You played golf, you know, playing golfer. No, I ended up laying on the beach, laying on the beach drinking. Yeah, I said at the time that we were on the show Friday, I said, Gregg's probably got a malbou babery somewhere to say. So I was drinking at the time. I was drinking the new very popular map. Maybe you know about the White Claws Celtics say, I don't like Seltzer, same Spike Seltzers are pretty exactly my man.
So we took it's a bunch of white colors to the beach with us on Friday and I drink a few of those. Then on Saturday we took more myke collage, like a bunch of those, like a lot on Friday night. But Sunday night, Saturday night, made a little speech. You know me, I like to like talk who would have thought? And I like to write. So I try to get all my friends like a speech for their wedding. And I gave it to my buddy over the weekend. Well, yeah, but it's not had a great I had a great weekend.
How was your weekend? It was pretty good. I mean, nothing too crazy going on. I had to go to a birthday untild You went to Little Frankie's Italian restaurant. Didn't make that name up either, By the way, Yes, we went to a restaurant a Little Frankie's. There's another restaurant by the same owners, just called frank frank All right. Well there you go. Popular name here in New York City. But other than that, I mean pretty pretty generic. Lots
of lots of sports. Watch the Champions League on Saturday, watched a lot of baseball yesterday the NBA Finals. Uh, it was a great weekend for sports, Craig, it was a very fantastic weeknd for sports. But let's start with Major League Baseball here. Let's get into fantasy baseball with you, Matt, and let's get right in to where the bids were this week. The first name I really wanted to ask you about. The first two names I wanted to ask
you about are two pictures. Of course, I was always looking for pitching naturally and the young Pictures act Police Sac Devin Smeltzer were both up pramidded this weekend. In most most leagues, it was Police Sack in the main event that went for the most one. He went for sixty eight, Devin Smeltzer went for seven dollars. Which one would you rather have? I'll take police Sack here. His control seems to be elite uh t at earlier seven batteris. He's walking on of course double hriple A and MLB
this year, so he would be the gag. Smeltzer has done well this season miners, and he has the one start. He's on a fantastic team, so that does boost his value somewhat. But I would have went Police set. All right, What about you, Frankie, You actually agree with Matt. I think you saw the bidding closer than it should have been. Because Smeltzer projectives have a double start this week as of now, at Cleveland and at Detroit, so that's why I think you see the bidding numbers a little bit
closer than they should be. I actually really like what I've seen from Police Sac. I was watching that game yesterday. Great game, by the way, Greg, it was Police Act versus g Leto pictures duel there Um police Ac had eleven swinging strikes in nineties six pitches. Other than that, you know, I was watching his mid nineties fastball. Really good command as well, works in some breaking pitches. Has to change up. But seven endings, four hits, one and
run one walks, seven strikeouts. Minor league numbers for Zach police Act too. I mean, not really a highly regarded prospect, but a two point nine nine right in his minor league career, two undred thirty eight strikeouts over two hundred and fifty three innings pitched. Those are some pretty good
minor league number. So I do have interest here. And Jeffrey Rodriguez got hurt for the Cleveland Indians last week, so you know, even once Clevinger starts to come back, and if we ever see Klueberg, maybe there's a chance police Sax sticks around a little bit here, Greg. So
I like what I've seen. The minor league numbers for for Devin Smeltzer were really good this season, uh, you know, at one point eight to e r A in triple A. But all the other years I spoke about this last week, UM A little bit more skeptical when it comes to uh, Devin Devin Smeltzer here. The minor league numbers haven't been as great. Kind of a soft tossing, less lefty, you can make it work. But I agree with Matt, I like I like Police Sack a little bit more. All right,
So well with you guys. I like Smeltzer, like police, police act your guy. He went for the most. As I mentioned in the main event, he got picked up for a spot start in my league yesterday. I didn't pick him up on my home league because I had Gleado going in him and you know, the Yankees this week, so it's gonna be interesting. It's gonna be interesting. I wish I actually fixed at Les sect. But nevertheless, in between those two guys in the main event, one more
picture went for thirty three dollars. Not all that much money was spent this week, and that was do Nelson Lamette, who is rehabbing. I guess with the padres still rehabing as he's on his way back. I'm not really interested Latte because I feel he's not really very good. Um come on, man, are you interested in Nelson Lamette? I mean, right now, it's tough to kind of add him. There's other guys, uh, you know, it's maybe obviously naturally only, but I'm trying to think I've had a fifteen team
scenario where you pick him up right now. I know the strikeouts are there in the home Bullpark, but I think there's other guys out there right now that warrant. I'd rather have picked up Mitch Keller, who was sent down after the start pitched yesterday. He was effective. I think he has the upside to ms Batch as well. I think he's better going forward. I think I'll have an opportunity at some point soon. So yeah, I'm kind
of with you on limit. I don't think he's somebody to totally ignore, but there's other guys I want right now. I can agree with that. And you know, if we're just talking about stashing injured pictures, you know, I i'd rather have Alex Reyes. I'd rather stash Nathan Vivaldi right now, who seems like he's working his way back. Someone that I really like coming into the season didn't work out.
It seems like he's always dealing with injuries. But I like stashing Lament Greg probably not for thirty three dollars that he went for in the main event. If you can afford to. I mean, everyone's got injuries that they're dealing with. Uh so if you can't afford to in deeper leagues, I do like the stash. This was a guy that in the second half of the seventeen mosted at three point eight e r A with a caper
nine over ten ten point three. You know, a lot of people were excited about his uh you know, mid Nighties Fastball, his shrike out upside um. You know a lot of people were drafting him as a maybe you know top if he is starting pitcher last year before we had to go for Tommy John. But he's made one rehab start so far, greg two point two winnings, pitched three hits, three earned runs, five strikeouts. Um, so he's slowly working his way back. That was in high
A ball. I would think he probably needs at least remore rehab starts, like he'll slowly wait work his way up. I like stashing him, probably not for as much. There's a few other pictures as well that I have ranked ahead of him for stashing, but I don't dislike hate it stashing him right now, Okay, she's one of the guys. She's take a shot on a little bit later on we picked him up in the g d D fifteen team.
We didn't, and I didn't tell you. He did not tell me that he is actually amazing, because Franks like, hey, did you gotta know? But I actually did tell you that we won Lament today. But I just think you didn't react to it because I heard Cooper that we wanted a second I sent you a screen shadow of all of our bids last night. I did not, but he was on that list, and I saw Cooper, I know we got we got Colm, we got Colum, we got Colin Moran as well. That's pretty cool. I'm excited
about that, he said Lament. I thought you said, like, please sack No. I wish that would be great. I did not know that he's Oh god, all right. Speaking of Yett Cooper, we both now own him at you owed him in the mad at twenty three dollars. I feel like because we're all friendly with non No, like you have to like Garrett Cooper. I think that's the only reason we both own him at this point. Now. I'll also give your new addition Greg Mitch a shout
out here. He's been pumping him up on Twitter. Too. Look, you guys been he has an opportunity on this team, and uh, he's hitting the ball hard. He's hitting some home runs. I mean unless he totally falls on his face. I don't see him leaving this lineup anytime soon. He should hit in the heart of it. So you know, with Joey Gallo going down, I got him. I got him in this league, I got him in in another
league where I needed to fill that core position. Uh well, his outfield now, but eventually I'm hoping to slat him there. So yeah, you know you're gonna need to look to you know, re replace guys when they get injured, and this guy has a legitimate shut. Yes. Since returning from injury for Garrett Cooper from May eleventh on, great to eight six batting average, three sixty three O b P, four home runs, fourteen runs scored, thirteen r b I s uh. And you know, I'll say this about the
Marlins lineup. They picked it up recently with him coming back and Harold Ramirez hitting well and jorgeil Farrow hitting well. You know, I don't know that Miami is going to be moving forward. This team that we were streaming against every single start that we were in the past. If you look over the past seven days, the Miami Marlins seven s ops as a team that puts them right in the middle of the pack in baseball. There sixteen
during that stretch in team OPS. So you know, Garrett Cooper coming around hitting well at the top of that order, you know, batting second most of the time, solid batting average o b P. There's well, hits the ball really hard, hard hit rate during the span from May eleven on, but does hit a lot of groundball, So I would like from the lift the ball a little bit more, but hitting for good batting average and to offer some
pop as well. So you know, I think I believe in YAHOO he has corner infield eligibility and outfield so might have even a little bit more value there. But yeah, in deeper leagues, Garret Cooper should be own. Gregg Para, North, Carrick Cooper playing well right now, both Craig miss Nan, No Matt and frank all over this guy. I think the Vantage community has found some love runs again for Garrett Cooper. But the man that everybody's talking about right now,
Frankie is Miles Straw. For his speed. You want him the Native Man for twelve bucks. You were ecstatic last night to win Miles Straw. For those who don't know about him, I want you to tell us about it. Yeah. So I spoke about him at length on Friday with with Craig Mitch who he was actually really really excited about Miles Straw. He kind of talked me into him, and then you know, we got a glimpse of it yesterday and I tweeted this, he makes fast people look
not so fast. I mean three stolen bases yesterday. You see him running the bases and I mean he's just electric. So um, it's electric. There you go, Greg, Uh, I lost the Gordon, so I've been I've been looking to replace some speed for now. I wasn't expecting to win him for twelve dollars. It's a little bit bitter sweet because I was happy to get him, but unfortunately Mett Moodico was the backup bid for ten dollars. I beat him out by two bucks. So I felt a little
bit bad for you there, Matt. But this guy's speed is absolutely legit and the hit tool is there as well. Uh, it's you know three batting average all levels in the minors seventy stolen bases last year. I worry about the long term, but what do we say on Friday, Matt You want to win week till week at this point in the season, and that's what I'm trying to do. So we had the long term term concerns for Miles Straw, but for the time being, it looks like he's going
to at least provide batting average and stolen bases. How do you feel about Miles Straw? Yeah, I got him in two other leagues for ten dollars each. This ten dollar bit obviously failed. And you know when you show me he did yesterday in league, you had to put some sort of a bid. I'm not saying crazy. He went into my you know, satellite high shooting nobody people that are very successful in all right, we'll take a break here when we come back. More on the Waiver
Wire with Maddie mo Deco. Also take a look and for the two star pitchers for this week, and you know what's going on baseball. I get used that, So correct me if I'm wrong, Frank, Please, I will try. It's like I L and D O it is, you know, it's kind of the interchangeable. Yeah. Uh, we got breaking news, Greg Rancisco. You don't like this? I mean, come on, this is relevant, Gregg? Is it just? Yes? It is. Rancisco is being recalled by the Baltimore Orioles.
And I'm hoping that this is a sign of things to come because I've been talking to Ryan mount Castle for a while and he hit three home runs yesterday in the minors, and I actually picked him up in one of my home leagues to stasch him. So I'm hoping as the season goes along, we start to get more of these youngsters up for the Baltimore Orioles specifically. Now we got Cisco, and I'm hoping that we can get Ryan mount Castle and Austin Hayes uh sooner rather
than later. But Francisco in the minors this year was hitting two eight nine with ten home runs and ops. I think it's worth mentioning because we do have some catcher injuries. Buster Posey is hurt, godd Ear Molina is hurt as well, so, you know, to catcher leagues, we're trying to find these guys. I think Rancisco has a little bit of pop obviously, hits in a good ballpark as well. Matt, any interest in Francisco, Yeah, and two catcher leagues, Yeah, I think he's somebody, do you, Matt.
Everyone will have an eye on due to the you know, unfortunate situation that is the catcher position, and Cisco is like the ultimate spring training minor league guy where he goes off there, hopefully this time at the majors. He gets the opportunity and uh, you know produces him. Chance Cisco back in our hearts. Now you are in the major leagues. Thank you, thank you, Chance, thank you. All right, other players that you guys added this week, and I
want to be quickly. We have a lot to get to you, not a lot of time to do it. Um Matt Weaders the other second catcher, eighteen bucks. He went four in the main event, and our guy Eric Dames in the main event here, Frank, Yeah, with Matt Weaders, he's actually hit well since Scottia Molina has gone down with this injury. Uh he started, you know, four of the last five games for the St. Louis Cardinals, obviously a really good lineup as well, he said, two home
runs during that span. He has two multi hit games. So again we're talking about to catcher leagues, deeper leagues where people might have lost out here Molina, Matt Weeders flashing some of that offensive upside we used to think that he had, but maybe this is what he needed. So there for the for the St. Louis Cardlinos and then Eric Thames. I mean, look, Hagar is just an
absolute mess. I mean you can drop Agilar anywhere. And you know, Eric Thames had a big game over the weekend as well, you know, cheap exposures to the Milwaukee Brewer's lineup. But uh yeah, it's been a it's been a messy season for Hazer Taglar and you know, maybe we get more consistent playing time from Eric Thames moving forward. Maddie, you have anything on those guys For Thames, I'll say this,
the opportunity might be there. I still kind of think that it might be Travis Shure, who's you know, getting the left handed at bats at first base. I can't see Milwaukee. I know they mentioned maybe promoting Kissing Hi can't the guy's name, but I don't see that happening. I think they need that kid right now, so I can sure as so, I don't know how that's gonna play out. Yeah, why would the demote Kesting here? Because I mean, the guy is just getting hot now, so
why would you Why would you mess with that? I mean a two eighty one batting average for hera five homers, nine ribbies, one stolen base. So yeah, something to pay attention to Travis Shaw is was he performing as badly as he was early in the season, because he was dealing with the risk injury. I mean that that might have been part of it. Um, you know he was he was back to back seasons with thirty home runs and we thought that he was actually pretty safe for
the power. But clearly something was not right from So give him time to rest up. If he comes back, maybe he gets some time at first base worked into that mix with Eric Thames and hass Aglar Greggy. Eric Thames over the past two weeks betting three hundred with two homers, eight runs scored six RBIs himself again in deeper leagues. If you felt for the trap that was Hayes's agil and you need a first baseman fifteen team roto and only if a guy like Eric Thames was
out there, I get trying to take a shot on him. Yeah, absolutely no, no question about that. Um, you should be out. I mean, you see, the playing time ultimately is there and uh and we'll see what happens. I wonder one of the two star pitchers managed anybody else guys you want to talk about there picked up this week that was worth mentioning. Uh, well, I was gonna reference Chase Anderson, but we'll get to him for the for the two star pitchers and uh Addison Russell. Obviously we've been we've
been talking a lot about him. He went for thirty eight dollars in my Great Fantasy base momentation and pretty much saw him added in a bunch of deep leagues this week for people who lost Carlos Correa or need a middle infielder for some pop. I think that makes a lot of sense a name that I've been seeing get picked up multiple locations. Actually matt was Tim la Castro of the Arizona Diamondbacks and good, good batting average
source in the minor leagues. Gets the bat on the ball, doesn't strike out all that much, has sneaky speed as well. He's been playing, you know recently for the Arizona Diamonbacks. He has five stone based on the season with a two eighty nine batting average. Um, what do you know about Tim Lacastro? Did you have any bids on him? And te like he's really just batting average and maybe some modest speed as well. I got him for like a buck or show in multiple leagues, Uh, places where
I didn't get um straw. I thought, you know, he was somebody that can provide you with the speed. It's just tough in Arizona right now. Parolta is coming back, they're saying without a rehabsitant. They do have a d H this weekend. But I think Lacastro, if he plays, you can get you stolen bases as well. So I got him for pretty much nothing, you know, with guys that I could afford to say goodbye to, and we'll see what happens. Yeah, it's a pretty crowded I'll feel there.
You referenced David Paul's gonna get back at some point for them. Uh so do we see Lacastro maybe in center spending time with Draw Dyson or spending time with Adam Jones. So it is something to pay attention to for now. Great, but that was someone that I saw, you know, getting added in deeper leagues this week because everyone's trying to find speed as usual. Yep. Absolutely always looking for speed, always looking for an oportunity to find a steel. That's why I picked at Malex Smith in
the league. Frankie, Oh, Greg, you're coming around, let's go. I picked him up for you know what, because it's only four games today, So I picked him up last night, thinking at the extra game to that, of course he's gonna stay on your team forever. What You're gonna stay on your team forever? I heard, Yeah, you don't Alex Smith now coming around, I don't know that I'll be on my team like like sixtlen Bases last week. Well,
let's let's hope for a couple of tomorrow. I'm just waiting for that point sometime this season when you say that you were wrong about Malex Sman, Well, we'll see, Frankie, my guy. I don't know how I became. I didn't even sign up to be the Malex Smith supporter, but it just happened organically. You are man, You absolutely are all right. You mentioned to start pitchers this week, we look pat Devin Smeltzer a little while ago. Let's get into Chase Anderson O the Milwaukee Brewers coming off okay
out in here against Pittsburgh. To start pitcher this week is Chase Anderson and he's facing Miami and Pittsburgh. Matt those are two very very tasty matchups. Yeah, I'm gonna go with Anderson here for the to start matchup. Based and all that, one thing I would recommend you look at if you're in a quality start league, I don't know if he's gonna get you at six innings. Uh So i'd be a little careful there. But in a wins league or you know, just regular, I'm gonna, I'm gonna,
I'm gonna play him for this double bit. Yeah, I think in deeper leagues, I'm all right with it. In fifteen teamers, that's mostly where I was seeing him being added this past uh this past weekend. But look at his last five starts. He hasn't a lot more than three runs and any of those. He also hasn't got more than five innings in any of those, So he's he's pitching better as of late. Two pretty solid matchups here against the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Miami Marlins. I
think that's why most people are looking at him. Greg is solely for the matchups here. Understandable. The matchics are don't really get really much better, And I think this is how they maximize Chase Anderson's potential is you don't let him go that deep into games. You don't let him go third time through the order, So you see him a lot of times five innings, four innings, four and two thirds around there, So just keep that in mind.
MAT's right about you know, if if you play in a quality start league or you get a bonus for quality starts, you're more than likely not gonna get that out of Chase Anderson. Are you starting Pablo Limpez year this week? Matt in fifteen teamers, If I don't have a better option, I will. I love the kid long term. I'm terrified of the Miller Park start. I think that can really go wrong for him. He has the start home versus road splits. Uh, it's not just the luck
on the babbit and the left on base percentage. It's also he's got a much better strike ap percentage at home than on the road, and even better control. So and it's not like at Lanta is a cupcake coal at home, even though at home he did pitch like six or seven and he's one run ball verse. I'm already this year still a tough matchup, So it's basically fifteen teamer if I have no better option having on the up right now, Greggy g s t Yeah, we
have him in. Our other options are Joe Muscro at home against Atlanta and Spencer Turnbull at home against Tampa Bay, Maddie Mo, would you start either of those guys of our Papulo Lopez? I figured I do. I'm starting him. I have him on my bench in a fifteen team league, and I don't think my partner he brought the question up before we came on air. Um, I have have Matt and Stroman there. I like those matchups, better matches, gotta really good. He's a much better picture at home.
Put it that. We just get the splits, you know, the e r A is night and day, the strike ap percentage and stuff. So look, I'm just really worried about the Lopez road start at Miller Park. Stuff. I can avoid that. And like I said, it's not a cupcake matchup. First the Braves, all right, So now we gotta figure out Greggy Joe Musko over Spencer Turnbull. I was leaning Turnbull. Is that crazy? Yeah? I mean, just going up against Tampa Bay, like the Razors scrappy lineup.
They've been pretty good against right handed pitching so far this year. Turn Will just been inconsistent, right, so you know the starts that you want them for the two start week against the Marlins and the Mats. He like struggles through both of those starts, and then last week I bench him against Atlanta and he ends up throwing a quality start. So it's just been it's been a mixed bag for Turnbull. It's been really hard to figure out when to use him and when not to. So
just something we'll have to discuss further. But I don't really love the match up against Tampa Bay. It seems like they can go off at any time. Randomly, they could have, but they lost like six in a row, right Bay, Yeah, I tell you, I know they can go off at any time, but they've been really cold as three in a row, three rows they got. They got swell by the twins. Yeah, they got swept twins. They had lost a bunch in a Roman or really over the last ten to have from six and four
in their last time. Okay, so before that they were very good. I prefer the match with a raise the Raves. I don't know so Tampa Bay over the last week as a team, offensively, they have eight oh seven o p s, which is tenth in Baseball, whereas the Atlanta Braves are baseball with a six seventy nine. So you can kind of go with like who's hot, Who's not right now. I mean, things are obviously gonna change by
the time they get to those matchups. But the Tampa Bay Rays line up, at least over the past week, has been hotter than the Atlanta Braves. So but I guess you can argue that Spencer Turnbull has been more consistent than Joe must Grove, which breaks my heart to say, Matt Raft must grove, g sit too, must grove. Yes, yes, yes, all right, Um, what do you start pictures on this list? Rank? I'm almost positively is a two star pitcher because we said this is the end for us, and that's John Lester.
Matt John Leicster has struggled mightily significantly since coming off the I L and the matches have gotten worse for him. But we said this is kind of the end for Lester if he didn't produce, And this week I believe Lester is a two star picture and he faces awful. Let me get it up. John Lester faces off against the Angels today and then St. Louis the Angels and the Cardinals. He's starting John Lester, I'm sorry, yes, yes,
for me, I've I don't really want to. I think these peripherals pretty much speak to the picture he is he got by in a twelve team league. No, it's a it's I'm gonna have better options here in a fifteen teamer. Once again, it comes into play. If I need to catch up in wins, I'll take the gamble that they can take down the Angels today. So maybe I go that route. But even if I am starting him, it's not confidently. So I think you got the best of John Lester, you know over these first two months
that you're gonna see. Yeah, he's allowed at least four earned runs in each of his past three stars and he's faced the Astros, the Phillies, and the Nationals. So not the easiest starts here, Matt. Earlier on in the year, I apologize to John Lester for uh for talking him down throughout draft season, and then last week I came on and said that he needs to call into the show and apologize to me. Maybe you jump the gun on the air because you know the swinging strike rate.
You know, just is very talented with him and stuff. He's on a very good team. You know that the Cubs are very good. They've got that slow start that first week or so, but you know they've been one of the better teams in MLB since that point. So look for wind chasing. I can kind of see it. He can give you five innings or so, get you into the six and pick up a win. But you know, I think it will come out. Of course, do you race here? Okay? So not feeling great about John Lesson
this week? I feel better. This is it, man, this is it for me. I told you I'm starting just left the guy. I told you I was starting him this week. If it's if it's over, it's over. By the way that it was talking about the dropping people, and I saw you tweet about it last week. Have you dropped forest with everywhere? Yeah? I had to. It's most unfortunate. I picked him up on one league not two months ago. I wasn't fad, but I thought he
would kind of start around. But once they shut him down for this for a shoulder issue, you just you just can't hold on anymore. Where it's already June. I thought the plan was to bring him up in mid June, but that's obviously not the case. He hasn't earned it. Ultimately, he's clearly dealing with something right now. He's got an e r A over twelve and triple A. Understand that. And you know in PCL and in the minors it's you know, you've seen this huge jumping home runs like
we have seen in the majors. But I mean, to have a twelve e r A, there's got to be something going on there, Greg, So it doesn't surprise me. Yeah, if you're playing a league where you don't actually have minor league spots, I don't really see how you can hold on someome for now. So I held him all year in the pit league. Do you have him but we don't have minor league spots? I know? Wow? Yeah, I think especially in a daily Transactionally, Greg, I'm surprised
that you held him this long. They did, but not anymore. I'm ready to drop him off. I mean that you gained another streaming spot. Well, let me ask you this, Matt. Another two start pictures for this week. Corbin Martin, the astro starter, faces Seattle and faces the Orioles. He's available in my league? Do I pick him up? Like he's been very disappointing. I think he's allowed twenty peace runners over sixteen and a thirty innings so far this season.
And I wrote in my article. I have nothing outside of the astros are good to substantiate any reasoning for starting him. But I'm actually in a deeper league in a team I would start him. I think that the possibility for wins. I think he's better picture than what he's shown to date. Gonna get to that five innings, I think, So I gamble on this it in deeper leagues. Well,
team or Greg, what are you doing picking its four team? Right? Yeah, but the roster spots aren't that deep you're picking them up. I was toying with the idea of streaming him today as well, So when you brought him up, I ran over here and I'm like looking at him, like should I pick up? So I was about to do it, but ultimately one person on this list I'm really rooting against. Who's that? That's uh, Jennis Cabrera. I'm hoping that he
gets lit up tomorrow Alex rays on something. Yeah, because they've already talked about potentially promoting Alex Reyes next weekend, Gregy, so that would basically be in line for Genesis. Cabrera's second start, so he faces Seattle in his first start at Cincinnati in his next one, so We'll see what happens there. Genesis Cabrera actually someone that Craig Miss was talking up saying that you know he's He's actually watched him before and has some strike out upside, but hasn't
necessarily come to fruition yet. So we'll see what happens with Cabrera. He gets rocked. Maybe we see Olex race over the weekend. Now we appreciate the time, man, Let's do it again next week. Okay, So I tell everybody this weekend Rose in Charleston, bud that my best bets forever they're on, Like I am, I'm feeling good about this. In Fuego, so it was Friday, and my
buddies like, who you like? Like, this is crazy? But if I if I have to pick three teams, I texted you this while you're on the air, I'm like the Lock of the Night, whereas my buddies put the Whale of the night. It's the Twins. I loved the twin. What does whale mean? Greg? Like, think about a kind of betting term that I don't know. It's like a huge fish, a huge wind. It's like a guarantee. You're
like you're shoeing your big pick. Yeah. Sure. So the well was Jose Burrios as an underdog on Friday Night. I get he's facing Tampa. I understand that on the road, on the road, you seem to get good you seem to get good value even when you have good pictures on the road. Correct exactly. I love Burrios as an underdog. He pitched well enough twins score in the eighth went on a wind that was my well and I loved it. Other picks I liked not as much. For I light
and did a Frank theory. Oh I took Andrew Kashner and the Oh's they won, all right, I know he got blown up. What he won is there in San Francisco Bays and Drew palmerans who was worse. Oh yeah, so as you cash the one that was two and out. And my third pick, which I lost, it was in Miami Marlins. I love the Caleb Smith every time. So the next night the only one I liked, so I didn't really take too much time to look at it. On Saturday night, I really like jose Urania of the
Marlins and went back to the Marlin as well. It worked at many Marlins are hot, so I feel good. I feel like I'm on a roll with my picks, and that's why I wanted to get into the Fantasy best Bets Forever Wolves take a look. Obviously, at Game three, some of the lines when it comes to the NBA as well. So take you a look at the sports book today. We'll use the FanDuel sports book just for fun. Do you could play I don't know when the sports poott dot com. Look at today's lines, Frankie, you got
the Angels and the Cubs. Angels using opener is Felix painting. If evena I believe so, I would, I would imagine that when whenever there's an open Felix, I don't have more people. Uh so may yeah, so today's day. Yeah, today's day. So it's Felix pain mostly against John Lester. Correct, now this is your thing? This according to Yah, who's not supposed special Tuesday. First. Second, No, he's not suspicial Tuesday. I don't know these piction today throws in his opening.
We know that for sure. Yes, let me feed the book all right. Let me see here CBS Sports as Camp Droser will serve as the opener, and Trevor k Hill going for the Angels. They're using the opener for Trevor Kile. You're using an opener to for Trevor Kallee tonight. So they're the heavy underdog against Kale's fourteen one of his former teams, these Chicago Cubs. Now John Lester has been awful. The overunder year is nine. Cubs are a pretty heavy favorite. What do you think of this? I
don't really love this game overall. I think it's kind of hard to get a lean here, Greg, because again you mentioned it. Lester has an been great, but can he buckle down against the Angels here? Trevor Khill hasn't been great either, so maybe we're looking at the total here, but it's a little bit elevated at nine, So ultimately
I just don't feel confident either way. This is probably a game that I wouldn't touch this overall, but there's really only value if you go with the Angels like the Cubs money line at minus one sixty eight, Like I probably just wouldn't be What are that total of nine? Would you go over? That got into my head? Probably, but you don't love it. I don't love this game. Okay,
all right? We got the Dodgers and d Backs and then't even riding the Robbie Rags train is late, Ray the d Backs hit it on the Dodgers and Walker Bueller the Dodgers already favorite, not a heavy favorite. On the road minus one forty eight over under sits at eight and a half. Frank Bueller's pitched well, raised been Ray.
How do you see this one? Yeah? So Walker Bueller actually turned to season round in the month of maybe point nine zero e r A across thirty one endings pitched And you know what I was just saying about, you can get aces on the road and you can get pretty good value. You. That's exactly what happing about for the next two games that we're gonna discuss here. That's the Dodgers in the Diamondbacks and the Philly is going up against the Podres. So I do like the
Dodgers at minus one eight money line. The total is tricky because they could see Robbie Ray getting blown up by the Dodgers here, so wouldn't surprise me if it went over here. But then the number that I really do like is the Dodgers money line at minus You gotta lay some juice obviously here, but I feel pretty confident that the Dodgers can win tonight against Robbie Ray with the The only thing I wonder is maybe we take the run line at one and a half, right
if they win by two against Robbie Right. I should Dodgers put up some runs in Arizona. I kind of like the run line here, like you should never touch the spread in baseball. Where's the thing I want and half? I'm getting Walker Bueller in h way love that plus one twelve. I'm getting a plus money now. Yeah, so that's why I think it's worth it. I see the logic behind it. Yeah, but when the Dodgers win like five for tonight, you're gonna be so pissede trying to
get greedy. This is definitely me getting greedy. I like the run line here with Walker Bugleer plus one twelve and might is one and a half. All right, we'll see what the props are here. How about Walker Bueller over five and a half strikeouts, greggy, Let's see what he's been doing. Well, I mentioned what he did in the in the month of May. I want the nine zero year. No, I know that. I want the game lot though, so over five strike as at over five and a half. He hasn't had less than five and
a half since April in a game. The Diamondbacks are in the middle of the pack against right handed pitching when it comes to strikeout right there. Twenty three percent strikeout rate, so five and a half it's a good number. Well, you get it at minus team like that. So if you think Bueller is gonna have a good game, why don't you just you can parlay the over for Walker Bueller strikes tonight five and a half with the with
the money line in the game. You get that together at Oh you can't do that, Well you do it, won't you do it? Well you do it separately. Then hey, if you want to do the if you want to do the run spread at minus one and a half for the Dodgers and then walking Peeler over five and a half, you just think the Dodgers dominate tonight over five and a half strikeouts. I like that. I like that too. You do this all over the Vandal Sports book. Yeah, that's you click on If you click on more, you
can see like all these different kind of props. I have a bunch of crazy stuff here. Actually, Greg, where's the more? Frank? Is it all? You mean? Maybe? Okay? But yeah, you can actually like to someone to hit a home run tonight. You can definitely do that. Yes, yes, hit a home run, to hit a home run and win the game. So like Cody Bellinger to hit a home run and the Dodgers are you better? Awesome? Yeah? Right? And I like that you predicting someone to hit a
home run. What about I'm not gonna get rich doing that was interesting. Robbie Ray, his strike ats over under is actually more than Buelers at six and a half. Well that makes sense though, we just were over strike a picture. But Dodgers strike out as much as the Backs too. That's a good question. Let's pull it up. So against the left handed pitching this year, the Dodgers have a one percent strikeout rate, which is twenty second, so they actually don't strike out all that much against
left handed pitch. Like the under man was crazy early, right, so he will You're knock gonna have before he gets there. It's not a bad idea. Well, what do you get the under it? So the under six and a half strikeouts, the under six and a half strikeouts Robbie Ray plus one fourteen. Now, Robbie Ray, what's the game log telling? How about this? In three of his last four starts, Robbie Ray has been under six and a half strikeouts.
I think you found it, Craig. I think I found it Frank plus one four team Roberluser, and that's what we're doing. Sports like that, and I like I like the Dodgers money line as well. Run line, Frank, just run line, run line tonight, get them get the plus money alright, Phillies and Padres. Later on Eric Loer on the mound facing Aaron Nola Phillies or minus one forty in San Diego, who have been struggling here as of late over under there seven and a half fronds, which
also seems low to me. Yeah, it is really low. And Arnola hasn't been himself so far this year, and unlike Walker Bueller, he's kind of turned around, but not to the same extent in the month of May two point seven three e r A. But it feels like he's just been shaky still. He hasn't necessarily been himself.
Forty two strikeouts in thirty three innings pitched, and I I get why the total is what it is, Greg because when I looked into Lower I was actually surprised to see that he's really only been blown up once this year, and that was in Colorado, So he's actually pitched pretty well. Is going up against a different Beast tonight in the in the Philadelphia Philly. So I think they're trying to sucker me in there, I will say overthinking. But I do like the Phillies money line at at
minus one four. I will say this, Despite the struggles, Aaron Nola has not given up more than three earned runs in a game where three runs total in a game since a Yeah, it's pretty good. Now, some of them are short he starts, but he's not giving you like these crazy dominance sting. No, he's not. He's although the mother man you read the stats was actually very good. He allowed one run or less. Actually, now that's not true.
One run exactly in four of his six starts, one run exactly four of his six starts, an other man. And if you look at lower right, his past three starts, one and run exactly in each of those starts. The last time he got blown up was May Tent. That
was at Colorado. But you kind of give him a pass for that, Greg, So do we go under the name hasn't He hasn't allowed more than three runs and the start he's only done it once in three or five, six, seven, eight and seven of his last eight starts he's allowed three or runs or less. That's eric lower. So do we go and I think, no, I think this is your don't don't be a sucker bit. I think that that's what they want us to think, want us to go there, sucking, sucking us in here. I don't think.
I think they're trying to get an over, but maybe just talk. You're just not touching it that No, no, no, no, I wouldn't touch the total. But I like the Phillies to win the game. Hey, yeah, I don't like this game at all. The Yeah, I mean that's how I felt about the Cubs and the Angels. Yeah, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not. You like the you like the Diamondback, that Diamonds Dodgers games. Where we're going, We're going that
under six. I'm on under six and a half of Robbie Reray over uh five and a half of Walker below. I'll take Dodgers with the run line. And with that, we're gonna sign off YouTube for now. There is one more game to go later on today. I believe that's the Mariners and the Astros right there the ten pm uh t BM start for them to be the first pitch. We're gonna break down that game next exclusively on the
radio side and on the podcast. So if you're watching on a video, make sure that the podcast as soon as it goes up so you can get our breakdown here of Houston and Seattle. Ten pm, First pitch on ESPN. Come up next at one pm on the video. Sean Grostamakia at the Window makes their debut here on the network. He'll be breaking down on the NBA, breaking down all this baseball stuff, a lot of gambling to talk to you with Seawan. Shan makes his UH at the Window debut,
coming up next. All right, Frank, let's break this down here. It's the Houston Astros taking on the Seattle Mariners. And I don't believe it's on the board at the sports book. Is that correct? Don't see it? Yeah, that seems like a mistake. I don't really know why it wouldn't be on the board. I mean there might be a reason for it. Is there something in question? For now? It's it's Corbyn Martin against Wade le Blanc. Although interesting, it's
been pulled from a lot of locations. Maybe they're waiting on a news but whose all today? And so these actual players maybe there's somebody coming up for the Astros. I don't know. The matter is gonna be making the trade. So it opened at Maris did make the trade, So it's Corbyn Martin against Wade le Blanc. Seattle opened at plus one, twenty, Houston at minus one thirty. On the road the total was at nine and a half. It's been pulled at the West Gate, the MGM William Hill
will win, It's been pulled everywhere. But those does sound like pretty good odds for the Astros though, what was it minus one? It opened minus one the thirties now minus one forty for the for the Astros to win. I don't love it. I know hasn't been great, but the Marriors lineup has also slowed down tremendously over the past week. Twenty three in ops for the Seattle manners seven oh six ops and they trade away j Bruce. So no, that's not going to help their lineup either. Greg.
I like the Astros to win the game. I mean they're gonna They're gonna blow up Wade LeBlanc. There's no doubt in my mind. Well why can't why can't the Marriagers keep up? I guess what would the total do you do? You have a total there? Nine and a half, So that's no. But I mean I like that over.
That's the one you you live up for. There, like that because Cortan Martin hasn't been great either, so he can give up some runs and I would expect I mean whatever, like the Astros run total for their team alone is I would probably be interested in that because Wade LeBlanc has not been good. Greg see, even with the injuries, who uh to all the the Astros players. Their lineup hasn't been terrible either, So I got nothing. We got nothing here, to be honest with you. Unfortunately.
All right, Well we like the over, and I think the Astros win the game too, okay, So we'll stick with that when it comes to Houston. We'll stick with that when it comes to Houston. Last night, game number two in the NBA Finals between the Raptors and the Warriors, Warriors. Warriors pull off the win in Toronto, despite losing Clay Thompson, despite losing Um, despite losing Kevon Looney, no Kevin Durant last night. Do you think he returns in games free?
I don't think so. I mean, all indications have been that he's still dealing with uh this injury. He's been limping around. He hasn't practiced yet, and I know that over the weekend they said that he doesn't necessarily need to practice, or maybe he only needs one practice to get that under his belt before he's back in the finals. But ultimately, I don't think that he's going to play in this game. And now we have Clay Thompson in
question as well, who hurt his hamstring yesterday. I know, you know, they asked him after the game, are you gonna be available? And maybe it was just adrenaline going, but he's, you know, he's telling everyone, I'm not gonna miss this game. I'm gonna be ready to go for
Game three. So obviously a lot of storylines playing out here. Greg, I thought it was I thought it was a really bad loss for the Toronto Raptors overall, because you hold the you hold Steph Curry to twenty three points on six of seventeen shooting, but you let other guys get
going here. DeMarcus Cousins gets going a little bit. You get Andrew Bogan randomly chipping in six points, Quinn Cook randomly chipping in nine points, Toronto Raptors had every opportunity to pull this one out, Greig, if you were watching that fourth quarter, they got stopped after stop after stop, but they just couldn't put the ball in the basket.
And for everyone who's freaking out about the refs, they were bad on both sides, Greg, let let's not just, you know, let's not paint this picture like it's like it's some kind of one one sided thing here, because if you look at the free throws in this one for the Raptors twenty three for the Warriors, I thought it was really bad on both sides. So I'm not just, you know, blaming this loss for the Raptors on the referees. I thought they had opportunities. You know, they shot thirty
seven percent from the field. Credit to the Warriors defense. They played well again. Boogie really came on in that second half. I thought Andre Egodala, I don't know what he did. Did he take Mike's magic water at halftime, Greg, because you know, he healed up and he actually looked pretty good. He was the savior last night. He hit the dagger three, but played some good defense as well. But I thought it was a really, really bad loss to the Raptors not great. So now they go to
Golden State. They are five and a half point dogs right now. And you know this, it's really interesting because this number can change so much up in the air. If it's a rant Clay, what the deal is with that? So that's a very big deal. If you like Golden State, you do it now. No, I I don't think that number goes out. I only think it goes up with Clay News and Katie Dowers. I was actually leaning the other way. I don't think Katie's gonna play. And I
do have my doubts about playtops and is effective. And I'm not saying I don't I like it. I say, if you like the Warriors, do it now. I can see the number going Youngberg, that's gonna do it for us, for Frank Staffle, I'm Greg Susman. We'll do it all gonnamorrow. YopE,
