You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Fantasy best Friends Forever, M Do Too to Dad Do Do Do Do Do Do Do? Doo too do do Yeah, says the Fantasy best Friends Forever here on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network alongside Frankie Stamford. I am greggsman, Fran. What's going on, man, There's a lot going on. Greg. First of all, after we signed off the show yesterday, my New York Jets created Teddy Bridgewater from the New Orleans Saints did for a third round pick. Yeah, so that's fun.

It's a good time. And then, well, do you have any more thoughts? Not like I just thought, you know, well, no, they don't have second round picks next year. We know that because when they moved up to get Sam Donald. They obviously had to forfeit those you have to give something up to get something. Um. So you know, they got that additional third round pick, and I think that can help them in the chase for a pass rusher,

which is what they're trying to do right now. They're talking about Dante Fowler, Shane Ray from the Denver Broncos, and then Khalil Mack the big sweepstakes for Khalil Mac. They're saying they want two first round picks. Maybe a first thing at the round pick gets it done. I don't know, we'll see what happens. Ultimately. I don't think he traded Listen. I think it's a great moved by

the Jets. Ultimately, they don't need for Teddy Bridgewater. They signed them in a million dollars, They got a third round pick. That's great. I saw a lot of people are talking about, oh, the Browns traded seventeen million dollars for a second round pick, and yes, that that's true. But like they're both they're both could moves. They're they're both could moves. Like just because what the Jets did was shrewd and it was doesn't mean what the Browns did wasn't So it's a good job by Sashy Brown

before you get fired. That's your last take Brown. Oh yeah, it was on the show today. Um, Franks want to talk about tight ends all week have kind of like held them off until now, So talk about some tight ends inside injuries. Virginia Zakis is gonna join us twelve twenty pm Eastern Time. She will come in go over the latest injuries with us, and then next week when she's on the show next Thursday. I mean it's week one injuries, right, Like it's the stuff that are they

playing this week, which is really really cool. Of course we're gonna take your calls throughout eight eight four three, uh six eight seven nine. Francis are stat of the day to day? Um, no, there is none, Okay, I love you knew there. I didn't. I just you know, I figured I stopped throw it out there. I mean, you were looking at a fantasy dada before he came out. Yeah, I was trying to find one, to be fair, just didn't have enough time. You were looking in a fantasy dadas.

All right, maybe you gotta stid of the day, so I'll throw it out just in case he has it. He's probably asked me before the show. Um, yes, of course, I Arge gets paid before after we were on the air yesterday. So Lvian Bell is gonna get cut. Yeah, okay, that was the other thing that I wanted to talk about to that. Frank and Ventura read this clickbaid article that like, oh, James Connor looks amazing, They're gonna cut leavy On Bell and save all this money and screw

him over. I'm like, what's wrong with you two, Franks. I don't know if we should talk about it, like what you brought into it. James Connor has looked amazing in the previous you bought into it. No, I don't.

I don't think it's realistic, but it It just raises an interesting point because I read an article on The Athletic yesterday about Big Ben talking up James Conner and how he's going to have more of a role this season, especially early on, because they acknowledge the fact that because Levian Bell sat out all of the training camp last year in the preseason, that he got off to a slow start. They know that that's a very likely possibility coming in again. So no, they're not gonna cut Levian Bell.

But can James Conner have more of a role early on in the season while Levian Bell gets his legs underneath him. I think that is a very distinct possibility. Great, okay, uh, you know it's funny. But what did he do last year in the first two weeks. Yeah, he got off to a very slow starts. Put up for you. He was not good because I owned him in a few leagues, but he did get off to a slow start and he didn't have his full touch workload either in those games.

Because it's funny because when we remember bringing this up last year at this time, probably earlier, in the first game of the season at the Browns, ten rushes for thirty two yards, three receptions for fifteen forty seven total yards, and thirteen touches with no touchdown from Levian Bell. Two. Granted he was playing the Vikings. He did see the

workload here. He had thirty one touches in this game, eight seven rushing yards on twenty seven attempts at three point two yards per carry, and he had four receptions for four yards. Yeah, he was playing the King. He did get a full workload, and then he didn't score a touchdown until Week three, and that's really kind of where he took off fifteen for sixty one rushing touchdown and then six receptions for thirty seven yards. So he

could go off to a slow start this year. And they Big Ben especially acknowledged that James Connor has had such a good preseason it wouldn't surprise him if he gets touches early on in the season and week three, come week four, it's probably just Levian Bell's job. But I thought it was an interesting article just based on the relationship that the Steelers have with Levian Bell right now, right like, they clearly don't like each other. He could

save money by cutting him, and they've proved that. I disagree with you. I don't think they don't like each other. Why not? What's can I mean, there's it's contracts, right Like, it doesn't mean that like lady on Bell has a problem with with Mike Tomlin or or the general manager like or even the owners. I mean, this is this is kind of like one of these Asian things. What do you mean they're paying him, They're paying a franchise tag.

I understand that, but for everything that he's done for this franchise, Greg, he hasn't earned a long term contract in that position. I'm sorry you can't. There are there is not a long term contract to give. He also was suspended several times. Do we ignore that a top three running back when he's on the So they are paying, they are paying him sixteen million dollars, but they're not financial security. To come on, Greg, everything that he's done

for the franchise, I think he's earned that. I'm sure they're willing to give him quite a bit of money, but he probably wants more. He deserves more. You don't even know what they're offering. He deserves its side here, I'm taking the players side here. I'm always on the player's side. No, you're not, because you're an executive. Now you're taking the side. It's not the GM front. That's not You could ask anybody here when they've come to me with a contract dispute, you're help included. And did

I have your back? Yes? Okay, So why don't you have a Levy on Bell's back and Bill work for me? Would you pay Levy on Bell? Yeah? Sure. I think everybody should be paid. Everybody Shoet paid. So you're just playing devil's advocate. I just pretty much it's more fun. He's best McDonald held yet Man's McDonald. I haven't seen anything. I think he's on the list, and then add him to the list because I wasn't sure. I wasn't sure.

I haven't heard anything about mass McDonald's. I think I added him on the list for reject him as my tighten three in like a Bestball League, HM injury I went on McDonald's injury changed alright, So the reason is that that that is very not recent eighteen days ago. That's not helpful. Sorry, So maybe that's why we're having in city of injuries on here. You guess, maybe Virginia help us out. Van's McDonald and he was a he was a sleeper tight end for a little while. Yeah.

I think, look, you'll never get it's super excited about the Steelers tight end situation. But Big Ben has always kind of leaned on the position. You know, Heath Miller, a little bit of Jesse James here and there last year. But I just think there's so many receiving weapons now that he's going to trust Antonio Brown, James Washington, Uh, Jujuice Smith Schuster, Levian Bell, catching the ball out of the backfield as well. Do you think it's crazy that

we haven't spoken about Antonio Brown's injury enough throughout the preseason? Greg, So it is the first time in his career he will not see preseason action because of this quad injury. That doesn't bother me so much. Like I get it's a new offense Antonio Brown, Ben Roethlisbrogram and then, but we have not talked about this at no. No, no, no, we have not even together eight years now together, So I don't I don't really care. No, I'm not worried

about the offense and learning a new offense. I'm not worried about that. When he's on the field, he's the best player. Ye will he be a hundred percent healthy? The guy hasn't played in I totally, I totally totally get that. Now he is back practicing. To be fair, UM, I think he could play in the fourth preseason game if he wanted to, but then obviously not going to risk that. UM. I I think he's fine. I think we're not talking about it because it isn't a big deal.

Of course, last year, late last year, he heard himself, UM, before coming back from playoffs, like Antonio Brown has had a couple of injury notes, and should that be in the back of your mind. I think it's a fair question. But my answer to said a fair question, isn't it? Yeah, me too. I just started to bring it up. You know, some people might be worried. Do you look down at their roster they see the little injury, the little plus sign of s Antonio Brown. You'd rather not be there.

I'm looking at like my roster right now. Did I tell you? I don't know? They tell you this that I joined a What are you gonna ask? I joined the fantasy college football league. I think you were reading your roster the other day on the air, off the air. I didn't. I didn't really know any of the players. Committedly, I don't watch a lot of college football. I didn't. I was Joey's on the air off there. It was off the air. It was off the air speaking of

a little injury. So they do so they didn't know. They didn't know that I watched, that I participated in this. No, they probably don't care, though they might. Maybe I'm gonna fast college foot everybody. So if you need help me, man, my team is projective of the third least amount of points in the league. This week I named it. Can you digs that after Maryland great Stefan Diggs, one of my players is questionable. It looks like this week I am projected in this PPR league for a hundred and

thirty one points. My opponent is protected for a hundred and forty eight. That was my team name one year when I went this is this is ridiculous. I don't agree with us. So, Greg, how do you feel about drafting Rob gron Cowsk in the third round? Um? Well, the question so, I think it's a roster conjunction question. As you answer most of my questions, I believe that

it depends unwhere in the third round. If you're telling me we're getting him that three seven, I'm very interested because I think Groggy is the number one tight end still. I think last year he proved that he stayed healthy for the most part. I have no problem with it, Like it's great. I think when you get to a point where you take the best player on the board.

Are we talking about this yesterday? Like all right, you're at that two three turn, and do I go with these running back or not past the wide receivers, right, you're more like three three essentially, I wish direction do

I go in? And I think that maybe that's the point where I would say, well, maybe I look at Ronk and I think that's how we ended up with him in our draft all over the weekend, and you ended up with with him in the draft the night before that, because you look at the board and you're like, all right, I can go with these running backs, the Alex Collins and Derrick Henry so on and so forth. I can go with these wide receivers and Mary Cooper,

Larry Fitzgerald, so on and so forth. Golden Team Oregon, je Rob Ronkowski, who's the best tight end in football? Who is that much better than everybody else? Who is a former first round draft pick in fantasy football? And I could pare him with a top five running back, a top ten receiver, and now you get the number ones hand. We did it for that exact reason. We had the number one overall wide receiver, we had a top twelve running back, maybe top thirteen, and then we

grabbed the top. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I like it. I think it is roster construction as well, I wouldn't take him in the second round for him, but for him falling into the third round of some drafts. Right now. I think it's interesting because in the beat Franks Stanfeld draft I did last Thursday, I had the second pick, I got Levian Bell and then I got a gift came back to me, A J. Green. And you know how I feel about A J. Green. I

think he's the cut off. I think he's the last, you know, elite widers here that I feel really really comfortable about as my wide receiver one in the second round. So because I got Levian Bell and because I got A J. Green, I felt really really good about those two positions. Right there, at pick twenty six, the second pick of the third round, I thought that was the time to pull the trigger on ground and I pulled him up the board. I took him over t Y

Hilton as well. Here's what I would say if A J. Green didn't make it to me and I had to take a wide receiver like Stefon Diggs or Mike Evans or t Y Hilton as my wide receiver one, I would have doubled down on wide receiver right if that makes sense, because I just feel little bit more comfortable with a J. Green as my wide receiver. One. Gave me that ability to take the risk the upside because we know we know what the risk is with Gronk, but he is a big, high risk, high reward player.

I think having a J. Green and Leviyan Bell on my team already allowed me to take that risk on Gronk in the third round and you know, take potentially the best running back and football, the best tight end in football. Uh. And then similar to what we did on Saturday, Gronk felt to three seven. We felt strongly we've got Antonio Brown as our wide receiver. We were just talking about him arguably the best wide receiver in football. We took DeVonta Freeman in the second round and running

back that you guys feel pretty strongly about. I don't feel as strongly, but he is a low nd RB one and that allowed us to go ahead because we have the running back, because we have the wide receiver, to take Gronk in the third round. That's what I wanted to talk about just today early on in the show is I feel like some people struggle with, you know, when should I take a tight end? And some of

these guys have just seen them fall. Like in that same GST draft, Travis Kelsey felt a four nine the end of the fourth round at some point even Adam Ronas. Ronas was the one who took him. I was talking to him the other day on Scott Fantasy. He said, if you asked me before the draft, were the chances I take Travis Kelsey less than ten percent? It's really interesting because on the next day you took zact Earth

in the fifth round. It was we have seen him drop into the fifth round with relative ease in recent days and weeks. And for me, it's funny because if I don't take Gronk, the only share I have Gronks in the league we shared together, I like, don't think about tight end until like the Kyle Rudolph to here, Like, it doesn't even cross my mind to take Travis Kelsey as it literally, I don't even think about it. And then you took I was like, that's why I was shocked.

And Trey Burton was there and you need to take him because I had no idea because Earth shouldn't be there in the fifth in my opinion, I mean early on in August, you know, a month ago he was going to the third round. He was going in the third round with Travis Kelsey and Rob Gronkowski. Now some people are getting exact Art's in the fifth round of drafts. In my opinion, he's easily a top three tight end. I know Dallas Goddard has impressed throughout the preseason. I'm

not worried about that. I will say this in a Best Ball draft, if you're still part of participating in those or in deeper leagues, if I draft Zacates, I'm gonna draft Dallas Goddard as well, because we have seen the Eagles are going to throw the ball to the tight end, and if zach Ertz misses any time, Dallas Goddard automatically steps in as a top twelve tight end. We saw it last year with Trey Burton. The same

thing could be said this year or Dallas Goddard. I agree with you that if if I miss out on one of those top tight ends, whether it's Gronk in the third, Kelsey in the fourth now or zach Ertz in the fifth, I'm with you. I'm just waiting. I'm letting everyone else take to Evan ing Graham. The Greg Olsen's here Delaney Walker. I do like Jimmy Graham. At the right price, I probably wouldn't take him in the fifth. If he's there in the sixth, I would consider it well.

In that In that Carton draft, we drafted Trey Burton. Is that eight whether you did you take Burton or Dlaney Walker took Burton, and then obviously we're at the turns. We waited to back and we were between Burton and Delaney Walker. We knew which on what it takes. We took Burton, and then two rounds later, Walker was still there, and I'm like, you know what I'm doing it. There's nobody else. I like, I don't remember what round was A looking up and both of them it's a bo

tight end. Ye, honestly, I just thought it was the best value on the board. Like I didn't like any running back Spider series. I'm gonna tell you exactly what to tight ends strategy. You might as well draft three and go with the my card. I mean, let's relax with that. So we look here. So Delaney Walker, dude was eleven round it was we took we full point PPR league. You're gonna be able to flex de Laney Walker.

Something I wound up taking Trey Burton in the eight literally is that the was Yeah, Trey Burton was with the last pick of the eighth rounds. We took U at eight nine and then at ten of eleven I took Lanney Walker. It was a long time. Like the other guys that were going. When I took to Laney Walker, you had taken You took Aaron Jones one pick later, he's like ash on Jeffrey there also surprised man and there's like ten round ten, ten eleven. Yeah, I don't

white house on Jeffrey. We're in the tenth round. Nick Chub, James White, Austin Ekela Ecla. Nothing going on here. I thought the Lanny Walker was the highest player on my board. Interesting, right it is? Look at this team again. We'll day break when we come back inside injuries, specifically Virginia Zacket. She joined the program when we come back. Forever Frank Staffel alongside Greg Susman. Great song. As we mentioned, we will be joined by Virginia Zakas of Inside Injuries, Um of Greg Susman is taken care of other injuries, microphone injuries. We've been fixed. We're getting You're right, we're back. We're back in your hold again, Hold again, bail. You didn't know what to do? That didn't all right, job, It's okay. Sorry, I'm Greg Susman. That's Frank Stafele and joining us right now from Inside Injuries. They're good friend.

Virginia Zakas, what's going on, Virginia? Hey, guys going very very well, have about yourself. Awesome, awesome. As we head into the final draft weekend of the season, really the last weekend of the summer, as we go to the Labor Day weekend, a whole lot of injuries we wanted to discuss with you, so fantasy owners and fantasy draft theres know exactly what they need to know when it comes to their drafts this weekend and early next week. We're the start of the player we focused on on

yesterday's show, and that was Jerick McKinnon. I know we've spoken about him in the past. I've spoken about him with you and with Dr Ray, but Frank is concerned about McKinnon's long term viability. He's concerned that even week one he won't be ready to get a full workload. What do you think of Jerick McKinnon. So when he originally suffered that calf strain, we gave him a four week optimal recovery time UM. That means he should be

able to return around week two. Now, there's still a chance he plays this week, but if he does, he won't be a hundred percent UM. He's still a very high injury risk. Calf strains are very tough injuries to recover from, and his health performance factors also still poor. UM Now it looks like it could go into that below average category pretty soon. But even still, I don't think you're going to get much out of him in the first few weeks of the season. Sucking Greg. That's frustrating. Yeah,

told you what about his backup Matt Brita. He's looking a little bit better. Um M, and I was clean, so Max four weeks to get healthy again. He was doing conditioning drills earlier this week, so I think he's going to be ready to go week one. Likes pretty a lot better. Okay, I'll just tuck my tail between my legs. See see, you should just listen to me.

I wanted to ask you about Doug Baldwin. We got some updates from him the other day, and normally players are not this blunt when they're talking about, you know, how they feel. But he said he's gonna be eight come week one and that this is this knee injury is something that he's going to deal with for the entirety of the season. How worried should we be about Doug Baldwin. It should probably be pretty concerned about him. Um. We've heard a few different phrases tossed around, but one

of them is a maintenance issue. Um. More than likely he's dealing with some sort of a cartilage or meniscus hair and a lot of the time you can try to play through these injuries, but they do eventually get worse. Um, they might be ok for a little while, but then they flare up again. So he's an elevated injury risk. I would not be surprised if he stays that way

all season. Um definitely could have some really good weeks, but I don't think he's going to be consistent, and I definitely don't think this will be the last we hear about problems with his knee. Yeah. So it's interesting because if it is a cartilage issue as you're as you're kind of surmising, and it is to require maintenance through the year. This is the problem with drafting Doug Baldin. We said yesterday that there's gonna be games he doesn't finish.

There's gonna be times where he goes right up until game time and you don't know if he's going to play, gonna be able to make it. It's going to be sore. The more he plays, Um, the more action he can accomplish. He may not practice on a Wednesday all season long. Hell, I don't know the practice on Thursday all season long. There's a lot of risk involved in drafting Doug Balding

right now. But if you draft Doug Baldwin, and it might sound crazy, but if you're in a deeper league and you have a lot of bench spots, do you try to roster another Seahawks wide receiver for the games he potentially misses. No, I don't think it's just Seahawks wide receiver that you can like essentially handcuff him with, like I don't want Tyler Locket and I'm not a lock of guy. We don't know that Brandon Marshall makes the team. Will find out this weekend. I think they've

warmed up to a more throughout the preseason. I don't know. I could see somebody emerging from from Seattle, like it could be a Titan drawn brown as well drawn brown short could with the tight end there um that emerges. I don't know. I think there's a lot of question marks when it comes to the Seattle Seahawks, and certainly

the passing game there we're talking Virginia. Zak is from inside injuries speaking of its height end position position, Virginia, I'm going to stick in San Francisco, where I have asked you all my questions thus far. And in San Francisco you had George Kittle, who also had a shoulder injury. He talked about him over the last couple of weeks as well, but he returned to practice this week, and there are fantasy owners that are drafting him as a

sleeper once again. Are you confident that George Kittle will be healthy come week one? Yeah, he actually just passed back into the low injury risk category that m R I was cleaned, so they're really isn't too much of the long term concern here. Um, you know, he's we said he'd be back within a few weeks, and he, like you said, returned to practice this week. His health performance factor is also peak right now, so I think we're pretty confident in George Kittle's ability to play and

perform pretty well by week one. That's good to hear, Griggy, because he was actually dropping down traft boards. David and Joe pu now going ahead of him, Jack Doyle going ahead of him, and you know, he looked pretty good with Jimmy Garoppolo late in the season last year. So early on in the draft season when we were talking about the tight end position. George Kittle was a guy that we liked. So if he's he's ready for Week one,

I'm pretty excited about that. Virginia, I want to ask you about another low end wide receiver, one high end wide receiver to going in that third round range. It's Adam Feeland. He left Tuesday's practice with a left leg injury and he was hobbling off the field. We didn't really get much before that except for the fact that they think he's going to be all right. What is the severity of Adam Feeland's leg injury. We're showing the Grade one injury right now. We don't know exactly what days.

It sounds like it might have been his ankle UM. If that's the case, he needs around two to three weeks for it to fully heal. UM. At this point, I don't think his week one availability is in danger, but he is a high injury risk. His health performance factors below average, so this is definitely you know, any sort of a leg injury within a week or two of the season starting not a great sign UM could

definitely affect him the first few weeks of this season. Um. The good news here, though, is it's not his back. That's what I was originally concerned about when I heard he left the field, because yet it's last year and in twenty fifteen with his back and back injuries tend to recur, so you know, not the worst news that it was his leg, but he made it off to

a slip ster. Okay, So there you go with that with Adam feeling that the back injury was a thing, You're absolutely right, Virginia, both at the end of two years ago when we didn't really care, and then certainly last year where just like he wasn't the same in the last few weeks, it was all back related. The fact that that the minor knee injury, it doesn't seem to have much concern when it goes Adam feeling, which

is a good thing. Now, I'm glad you didn't ask about advanced McDonald, Frank, because he's a former forty that's kind of my territory, so Vans McDonald. He's been bothered by injuries really the last few years, and people believed he was a potential sleeper coming into the year, and of course he immediately gets hurt. We haven't seen any reports on his health or his whereabouts or what's going

on with him. We're hoping you'd be able to update us. Yeah, we're also having issues finding too much information on him. But right now we're showing a grade one injury optimal recovery time with just one to two weeks. Actually we are showing he should be okay by week one. Um. Right now he's right on the border of elevated and

low risk at thirteen percent. But he is improving. So I think he's gonna be okay unless there's something major they're not telling us, like, you know, it was a more serious sprain or even a fracture, But I don't think that's the case here, Okay, So okay, yes, yeah, it's Vince McDonald, Greg Virginia. It seems like every week we have a new update on Andrew look rightfully, so,

he's a very polarizing player given the injury. We know he returned to the field his first in game action this pre season for the first time since January one, seventeen, But now he's dealing with a minor minor foot injury. Is there a chance that he's compensating for the shoulder something related to his leg. Does it work that way? Does it not work that way, should be worried about the foot? What do you have on Andrew? Look, Um,

it's possible it's related, but in this case I guess not. Um. Of course, he started the preseason and elevated injury risk. He's still elevated, UM, but we're showing his health performance factor actually should be peaked by week one. So again, unless this is something more serious than they're telling us, I don't think this foot injury is really going to

affect performance. UM. But Andrew, look, you know he has hitten quite a few hits in the preseason, and if he keeps taking this many hits, you know, whether it's his shoulder or his foot again or another injury, it seems like we could be looking at another season where it's pretty banged up. Chat Virginia is from inside injuries. Just a couple more injuries, a couple of more players

to talk about with you. I'm willing to go away from the forty nine by only and I'm going to go up to Green Bay because I have drafted Geronimo Allison everywhere on every team that I have, because I'm not confident Randall Cobb's ability to stay healthy. Should I be more company less confident. What's the deal with Randall Cob. So, Randall Cobb just hit his optimal recovery time, but we

think he returned too soon from his ankle surgery. We originally showed a nine week optimal recovery time and he was back practice I think around five or six weeks into that, which kind of delays things. You know, he already we saw was in and out of practice earlier in August. UM. I definitely think that this ankle foot injury. UM, the story he's been dealing with this something that could continue to linger. Wouldn't be surprised if be missing some

practices throughout the year. And as you mentioned, he's had a lot of other injuries in the past as well. Last year was bruised ribs. Before that, I was staring in his ankle. So he's still a very high injury risk right now despite hitting that optimal recovery time, and his health performance back or is below average, which tells me he's not going to be as quick as we

expect him. Um, he's you know, he's not going to be close to at least early on in the year, and that's why his value is dropped for that exact reason, and it makes sense why we've heard reports that the

Packers have shopped him. We thought about cutting him because if his performance isn't up to where it's been in years past, he comes with a hefty price tag for the Packers in terms of what they're paying him this season, So it makes sense that they would shop him and even discuss cutting him, especially the way that they've talked

up Geronimo Allison in the off season. Virginia, I asked you about in Indianapolis cult my last time, and Andrew Luck, I'm gonna ask you about another Indianapolis cult, and that is Marlon Mack who has been dealing with a hamstring injury throughout the preseason. We don't know that he's going to be ready for Week one. Personally, I like Jordan Wilkins more than him because of that. Honestly, the way that this offensive line has looked, we probably shouldn't like

any of the Colts running backs. But what's going on with Marlon back? Is he ready for a Week one if he comes back to early? Does he re injure it? What's the lay is home all in there? Yeah? So his hamstring string comes with a five week often were recovery time which to stay turned around week two or three. UM,

so we don't think he should play week one. It does sound like he's making progress, which is good, but he is still an elevated injury risk below average health performance factor, so he's definitely not ready to be a big contributor for the cults. UM. If he returns week one, I do think he's going to be at a concerning injury risk UM, and this is an easily aggregated injury, So I do think they should hold him out a few more weeks and then bring him back week two

or three. Greg, I don't usually like to advocate things that the fantasy executive says, because you know, he's been talking smack about a lot of smack. You're talking a lot of smack. He also said he misses you, Virginia. But one thing that Corey does normally say is there a few teams that he just doesn't go to get his running back. And I think this is just the obvious one. Right Like the Colts, we've been trying to make Jordan Wilkins a thing, and I like Wilkins, and

he's dropped down draft boards. But between Mac and Jordan Wilkins and him high and Christine Michael and the offensive line not looking great and really none of them looking good in the preseason. Should we just trust Corey on this one? Who just don't draft any Colts? Yeah, you know it's it's funny. I'm looking at my lad up um in flex and for some reason I own that

backfield in Nahem Hines and Joey Wilkins. I don't. I don't know why that seems bad Like you and George Kindle, though he's he's good, one of your one of your San Francisco forty niners. It's a Virginia team gets worse the more I look at it. So that's probably closed that table, the next one, onto the next one. Indeed, Virginia is a guess from Inside Injuries. We appreciate the time as always, and let's do it again next week

where we'll have real football week. Why don't be right in front of us and I'm excited to talk to you guys. Then, thank you so much for joining us. Also following Virginia on Twitter Apporginia's I guess of course inside injuries. At inside injuries, you do you you read through them all the time, Frankie. I've told people multiple times that I have their Twitter alerts on, so whenever Inside Injuries tweets something out, I get an alert to my phone and Frank Frank is more alerts than anyone

I've ever seen. I also do have alerts turn on for every time a player hits a home run in the MLB, literally and the stolen base. We had Manny Morgo hit one yesterday and I said, why does Frank of a Manny Morgo alert set off? I could not understand it. Now I do, and it does make It doesn't make any more sense. Off can play Fantasy baseball to Greggy. So you know, if I see a guy hit three home runs in one game, go out try

and pick him out. My wide receivers in flex pretty awesome, Fitzgerald in the fifth it was a non pp. This is the first draft I did. You were zigging when everyone else was. I was, so my wide receivers is all. That is all I want to tell you. And then read your running backs, Okay, Davante Adams, Larry Fitzgerald, t Y Hilton, Robert Woods, who are in Sutton, Alan Hearns. That's fun. That's good that's a great group. It's a really good group. All right. Now, running backs, the tight

end is George Kittle. That's pretty good, right, who's back? Cam Newton? Oh, that's great? So preto teams so far, it's a great team. Do you like it? It's a great team. Um, running backs, Greg seems unnecessary. Are you gonna be starting Jordan Wilkins and ninety mines in week one? Not only two running backs? Okay, we'll have any running backs behind besides the Indianaples Colt Barley. Oh, that's a good one. That's a good one. We got one running back at least at Marshall Lynch. It's not bad. Oh

you're all right, you're like, okay, you're good. The rest of my running backs are not good. Jordan Wilkins, Time Montgomery, Naim Heinz, and Frank Gore. Look, you're starting lineup will be fine every week. If you have I'm gonna drop like Nat, don't do that. We're actually the complete opposite. That's the draft where I started running back, running back, running back. I'm gonna wide receivers are a little questionable.

We might be trade candidates, and I'm gonna put the waiver claiming right now, all right, I'm gonna drop is running back? Should I dropped min Jordan Wilkins, time Montgomery, Frank Gore, probably Hines in a standard league, I'm gonna catch me. He is going to catch passes, but I don't know what else his role will be on the I don't think he scores many touchdowns. This is a good question. I like the talking point because there are

a few waivers that haven't opened yet. And how much do you spend on Adrian Peterson right now in FAB in a non PPR league where Jordan Wilkins is your RB three, I have been six. I was gonna say fift. You have had this number twenty six in your head. I'm just gonna I'm just gonna bid his jersey number on Adrian Peterson and just hope I get him. That's that's a quarter of your FAB gone for the season. Four of the season even starts. Well, that means you

can help me longer than anybody else. Or he could be out of the league by week. He won't be. No, he probably won't. Right lower it. That's probably fair. That's that's a that's a better amount. I think fifteen to twenty is fair, especially if you need the running back help in a non PPR league. I think in a non PPR league he's a low n RB three fans off n RB food. He looked very spry in that first preseason game. I totally agree with that average over

five yards carry in that game. Clearly don't trust Rob Kelly. They clearly don't trust Sam Pete Ryan, and I like the Washington offensive line. I've continued to pump them up. That's there's some guys here. There's guys out of here. Man in the waiver wire. No, they're looking at it.

I'll have to check it out. I mean, don't do that. Well. Now, I know how much you're bidding on a p so I know how much I need to bid out bid you to get you want to want all you man, I have four very good running backs in that league, so I don't think I really need it. We could be, we could be drake outidates. We might be Just don't give you. Those are going to call us collusion. Just don't give me that. Like b strage you like to

propose the people. Just don't you gotta start low. You gotta start low and then you know, build a trade up. All right, what's your team here? What's your name of your team? Stat? I found it RADII, Alex Collins, Jordan Howard, Kaream Hunt, Karen Johnson. Yeah, I would like one of those guys. I'll give you something you want to get trade right now now? Yeah, alright, I'll take Larry Fitzgerald. Okay for carry on, Johnson, I'll give you live It's Gerald for pretty fair trade. I'll give in to you

for Alex Collins. No, what's where they're going. Let's Collins is my third round Pickard in the fifth. That doesn't mean anything. Both these guys are really third round pick. I passed on large Ferald twice, but you didn't know how your team would turn out. Okay, dude, your number one wide receivers Cory Ma Cooper and then Josh Corey. You need Cooper and you need Larry Cherald? Is a

fair trade? Over the phone lines four four eight four three six eight seven nine, Frank and I are trying to a trade during the brake len Now it goes back after this. It says you lust me eaguals us pretty.

I know my calcul lust It says you plust me eagules us calculs. They have a movie. Yeah, man, it was awesome. Let's watch it together Friday night. We're watching together, even from Massachusetts. You're up first today the Vantagy best Friends forever. My man, what's going on? What's going on? Steve? And that's a good That was some good uh boy band stuff. Man, I you know I'm wre on to like in sinking Backstreet Boys, But there I gotta give it to you. Man. You you really know how to

dig deep and find the funds. Though that was that was a Bivona woman all good. So I had a question. It was um similar to like Randall Cobb, you know how like he he could possibly be getting cut and it could open up the door for like a Geronimo Al. Yeah, I'm just wondering, is there any of us situations like that that we could be watching as like UH teams are trying to get to the fifty three man roster.

That could be real interesting to like the next man up type thing if somebody else would be getting caught. Is there somebody that we should be keeping an eye on? Or is it is it just like the Randall Cobb, Germont Geronimo Allison thing that we should just be worried about. So I think it's a great I think it's a great, great question, to be honest with you. We've spoken a lot about Toronimo Allison and a lot about Randall Cobb

getting cut or being faded out in some way. And listen, Randall Cob all of a sudden could could burst on like people thought of a couple months ago. One situation that I actually thought of Frank that he in the mind immediately was actually in Oakland, right where like I've admittedly have been high on Jordy Nelson, and I think you could be the red Zone guy. What if it's Martavis Bryant. If you really like Martavis Bryant last year so much he was going like the fifth round and

we're like, what are you doing? R Tavis Bryant has talent? Can he keep his head on straight? I don't know, or Javis Bryant comes to mind. If Jordy Nelson really is watched. Yeah, and another one I thought of as we mentioned Brandon Marshall earlier on in the show. Sure if he doesn't make the team or if he's us terrible drum, Tyler Lockett does take that step. Okay, I actually like the town of Tyler Lockett. I know he's been uh, he's been off injured in his career, but

with Doug Baldwin banged up, Brandon Marshall is underperforming. I think he's a name to pay attended to um Sean Jackson. What if? What if the John Jackson's just But we're already seeing Chris Godwin starting to get pumped up draft boards. But you know, I think there's a chance that Chris Godwin starts on the outside and two wide receiver sets. I think he plays more than de Shawn Jackson UM. And then I think it's too late for a trade to take place. We heard a few whispers like two

weeks ago. I think it was like a fake the other Mike Florio had the report. But if the Mary's Thomas were traded or something, obviously Courtland Sunton would automatically see a huge boost in value. Yeah, absolutely, no, no doubt about it. Courtland Sutton, Um, Kenny Gollan with Morvin Jones. I mean, some of the normal ones, but these late round guys, I thought Martavis Bryant, Um, I thought that's going drum Brown. I'll say in Seattle as well. Let's

go Eric in Florida. You're up next the Fantasy best Friends forever. What's going on? Guy the afternoon? The afternoon? Man, what's happening? I got a crapy question. Um, I got my home league draft and I just don't come. Just coming guys, Andrew Luck, Kirk, Cousins and Celebra got what we got to take. So we talked about quarterbacks yesterday on the show. And initially I Andrew Luck was certainly the highest, quite easily for me, of Cousins and Rivers.

Now he's definitely above Rivers for me. And then it's Luck and Cousins. And I know, Frank you with Cousins ahead of Luck yesterday. Yeah, I've dropped Andrew Luck down to QB eleven, just a little bit worried about everything that's going on, not attempting men he passes down the field, the foot injury as well, still trying to come back. I'm worried that this could really just be a shake off the rust year, or maybe at least the first half of the year. So I will take Kirk Cousins

of this group. I will say that I've I've worried a little bit about Kirk Cousins now too, with the injuries to the offensive line there. But I just think the weapons that he has will outweigh the deficiencies or the injuries that he has to the offensive line. You get rid of the ball quickly, let Stefon Diggs Adam Feeling do things after they catch, and then you still have that huge red zone weapon in Kyle Rough plus Dalvin Cook to catch the ball out of the backfield too.

I just think there's too many weapons there that even if the offensive line is not great, he can still overcome that. Plus Cousins has played with you know, decimated offensive lines in the past. Last year he finished as what a top eight QB once again, So I think I trust him the most out of that group with everything that's happened in the preseason. Great alright, continuing on the phone, eight four, three, six, seven nine, we're up to Derek Inan, California. It's up to j Hey, I'm chilling.

What's up? Guys? Too much? Man? All right? Check us out. I've been hearing all this talk about Geronimo Alison and I've noticed that he's available on my labor Wires free agent and so I'm curious compare him compared to D D. Westbrooks or Mohammed Sanu. Would you swap any of those two out for him? So I would swap sanw with Geronomo al personally, Like, I know people really like Healing Cole in Jacksonville, and it looks like both these guys

are number three wide receivers. But Ded has that talent and I want to give that a week. In all honesty, UM, I would swap out Allison for swcause theos doesn't have the upside Allison does. UM Any Green Bay offensive Randall Cobb isn't anything. So for me, I'd make the swap between Allison and Sanil. Yeah, I wouldn't mind dropping either one of these guys. But for the reasons you mentioned Greg, I would drop some new as well. He's a very steady veteran weekend and week out. He has a safe floor.

But let's see what happens early on in the season with the Jags wide receivers. Maybe d D. Westbrook pops off as a team's wide receiver one. We just don't know how it's gonna play out. So I agree I would have dropped either one of them for Allison, but I'm leaning more so dropping soon. Let's go out to SYRAC Houston. Talk to Tea. What up? Tea? Hey man, what's going on? Thanks for helping us out. I'm a big fan of the show on the channel. We appreciate

it very very much. We know it's a huge weekend for you, so we're trying to be huge. Sure it was. My work was the last week and I had a couple of drafts. Then I wanted to run a couple of my rosters by you guys this twelve PPR both teams I wanted to get a draft grade from me. I got qb uh Cousins, I got come out Gordon and run Back. I got Diggs and Allen Robinson. Although on hin that I probably would go with Tyreek Hill, but that's a different story. Instead of Diggs. I got

my tight end as I first. I got Crabtree on flex and my uh my bench is Russell Wilson, Burkeheads, carry On, Johnson, Crowder, Ferns and troops for for my tight end backup? What do you guys think about that? Oh? And I have a handcuff on ekelor R. Alright, so Alvin Kamara, Gordon, we're assuming this. So yeah, the running backs are amazing, Kirk Cousins. Even if you have Kirk Cousins, I wouldn't have drafted Russell Wilson or vice versa. If

you drafted Wilson first, I wouldn't have taken Cousins. Um. I like Diggs as the wide receiver one when you have those running backs Allen Robinson, No, I think your wide receiver two it could be better. Obviously, Tyler eiffort Um, how long is he gonna stay healthy? Love the running backs, yeah, I love the running bags, don't love the tight end. I don't really know why you have two elite quarterbacks

unless this is a super flex league. With that being said, I'll give it a B plus B yeah, Range, I just thinking the same thing. I just thinking about a B R B plus what about your other team? Yeah, it was just great value. So I couldn't passed on that one. It was a late round. So the second one is I got Andrew lock Kenyan, Drake, Lamar Miller, All Beckham Jr. Um, I got Davante Adams, Tyler Effort

once again, Marvin Jones, Jamal Williams, and my flex. That's two flex uh and my my bench just Carlos Hide Thompson, Chris Thompson, Garson Mahomes, and Lockett. That's a C team to me. So it's Andrew Look, Kenyan, Drake, Lamar Miller, Lamar Miller, Odell Beckham. So you really do you went

with the wide receivers. He took Odell Beckham and Davante Adams. Um, Marvin Jones is your flags running backs left and typically on my max and I really did not go to wide receivers, but the value was just way too good with and Davante Adams. I will say, I like the team you told me before more so than this, I'm a little bit worried about Andrew Luck. I probably would have started one wide receiver and one running back in the second round, so you can have a little bit

more balanced. But given that you have Odell Beckham and Davante Adams, I don't mind Kenyan Drake and Lamar Miller being your running backs all that much. I'll give it a B minus. I like the other team a little bit more though. Yeah, like the I'm going to see absolutely man, let's go to Let's go to Goose in California? What of Goose? What's up, guys? What's happening? Man? Um?

I'm leading towards keeping Doug Baldwin, but I've also been thinking about trade offering to trade him for h Jillian Edelman. What do you guys thinking about that? I'm I'm good at wide receiver. I'd rather keep Baldwin. That deal wants Edelman spent it for four games, didn't play all the last year. Give me the guy that I you know it, I'll be out there week one. I know what you're thinking.

You said that you're stacked at wide receivers, so you probably just you want to take Julian Edelman stashing for those four weeks and you have them in week five as a potential you know, wide receiver two and PPR. But I'm with Greggy with this one. Even if you suffer injuries early on, you're gonna need that wide receiver depth. I'll keep Doug bollowing, and I know the risk is there, but I haven't ranked much higher than Julian Edelman. I totally totally agree. Let's hit up Darren in New Jersey.

What up, Darren? Yeah? What's out? Guy? So? I have my draft already and I feel like my wide receivers I probably need to get some help on it. Um, So let me run down my draft real quickly with you guys. YEA cool? All right? So I had the first first pick twelve team PPR. I want Ezekiel Elliott came back around? Did Doug Bowling and Stepan Dicks? Uh?

That pick? The Alex Collins and Royce Freeman and Marky's Goodwin cousins, Julian Edelman, uh, Kenny Golladay, Burton Read and Aaron Jones Like, I feel like I need to show up my wide receiver corps because of the news on Bowling. So you think I should drop a Golliday and pick up, like um, one of the Jags receivers or Michael Gallant. I would hold onto Kenny Golladay. I might drop someone else on your bench, because Golladay has some sneaky upside

as well. But I would try to get Gallop on your team, or even Keel and Cole, who I like a lot from Jacksonville. I think there's a chance he could be their wide receiver one. But I think you turned out all right here. Obviously you took Zeke in the first round, and then to get digs In Baldwin as your wide receiver one and two, and then backed it up with Goodwin as your wide receiver three. I don't feel all that bad about that group, knowing that you have Zeke, you have Alex Collins, and you have

Royce Freeman. When it comes down to it, maybe a couple of weeks into the season, you realize you need a wide receiver and maybe you try and trade Alex Collins or Roy's Freeman to shore up that wide receiver group. But I actually don't think it's a bad group. Based on the running backs that you have. It seems okay for me too. And with that, we're gonna sign off YouTube for today. We appreciate you watching. three six eight seven nine. Tim Albright asked us inside the YouTube chat Frankie in the sixteen team PPR, would you give up Aaron Rodgers for Devonte Freeman and Manny Sanders sixteen team pp Always? Absolutely, It depends who your quarterback is up next week. You'll figure that out. Man.

Even if you the replacement level quarterback you get in the sixteen team league, assuming you have one on your banch or, you pick one up to get a potential second and fifth round pick in Freeman and Emmanuel Sanders, I mean they're gonna go even higher in a sixteen team league. Mamnuel Sanders is probably a fourth round pick. Absolutely, I would do that trade as well as your Adrian asks us, would you want Geronimo Allison, who we spoken a lot about, or Cooper Cup I think this is

Cooper Cup easily. Yeah. I like Geronimo Allison as a sleeper, but I don't want to pump them up too far now. I will say, if Randall Cobb is cut or traded, or something happens or injured, then I would rather own Geronimo Allison um over Cooper Cup. If something happens to Cob. I think Allison has top thirty upside, but the way that things are right now, I'd rather have Cooper Cup. He's ranked inside my top thirty six wide receivers, a

solid wide receiver. Three. Yeah, I like Cooper Cup. Also, I don't own any shares and them I'd like to um, I'd like to. Maybe I will my last draft next week get a share Cooper Cup because that Robert Woods obviously in a lot of places. Maybe I should get a share Cooper Cup, get a shareff Kenyan Drake, I probably will Man, I probably will Rizzy. Choose two of

these stuff from Don Mark. He's Goodwin, Kenny Steals, Alan Hearns, Tyler Lockett, Sorry, Chris Godwin, Kenny Stills, Alan Hearns, Tyler Lockett. I will take Kenny Stills and Alan Herns. Yeah, I think Henny Stills a lock out of that, and it comes down to Herns, Lockett and Godwin. It's close to Godwin given their separate situations. I know Tampa's going to throw the ball more than Dallas, but Alan Hearns has a chance to be his team's wide receiver. One. Yeah,

I I agree with you. Um this one comes from Greg would you can? Would you drop des Bryant yet de Pence? Who was available if any of the names people have been asking us about, Chris Godwin, Kilin cole Geronimo Allison. Yes, I would drop as Brian for any of those guys. All right, what if? Al Right? Greg's response here is, um, let's see the best available according to his league. There's no one there is, just like Adam Humphries. We're not dropping does Brian for Adam Humptin

to Darrold Patterson, you look at our scout team. I've already put some players in it. That's it. We're done. The fantasy football frenzy is up next. I just picked up Philip Dorset and dropped this Bryant sucks for Frank for Frank Staffle. My name is Greg Sausman. Thank you so much for watching. Listen to fantasy BFS.
