I'm sweating it out over here. I end up winning, unfortunately because Philip Lindsay got hurt. But fortunately for me, I won. So I made it the two championships. I one Bowl championships. Very excited about that. My I needed to know what was happening here. I'm sorry,

your pancakes and eat them. And it's for alcohol and it doesn't taste like any alcohol. So did you do that? I did not, But it was amazing. And we also had the Captain Morgan pumpkin blasting, which have you ever ever had? That? It was Christmas? A lot of shots? Could he use the day off today? Like I told you the other day? Didn't you never question early enough? Apparently I looked this up too. In European countries, today is second Christmas right where you have off? I told

It's kind of everyone else and my family has done already, so like by deduction I could kind of. But it's like, this is how they get you to buy it, right, The more people from your family that purchase the twenty three Meat Kids, they can go back farther and farther because they have

like more genealogy. That's how they like, how they get a bunch of people to get My sister would always tell me when there were sales on this thing, because she's like, I really want to know what you are. like very early January. What happens, right? The three front earns right now, the Yankees, the Phillies, and the White Sox. Right those are the only three teams you met with. That's it. And I don't know what, I don't know, surprised that there's not more interest. I mean, it's a lot of money, man, he's a lot of money investing in this guy. Like the Cubs kind of have a

third baseman. His name is Chris Bryant. The thing is I've seen on Twitter, like people do actually talk about this, like fantasy baseball, and just like baseball Twitter in general, and any team can actually afford to sign Manny Machado who's not too correct. Well, like you have to think about it, like investing your money in a star like that, doesn't it also return money because more people are gonna want to come to the stadium and watch said player.

And I mean, even if you're not completely relevant, if you're one step closer to relevance, you make a big splash like this, like ultimately you'll make the money back. I want ticket sales and stuff like that. No, doesn't that make sense? That makes sense? Sure? In type or anything. People trying to talk just talk to me? Then how does talk to you? Talk to me? Greg? Even the as fantasy analyst only gets about at a max of things, right,

I don't know. I've people hundredsent right, No, that's not true. Who get right people? The most accurate fantasy rankers of all time. I mean he's pretty accurate, but seriously, the most accurate fantasy like max right. I used to think, how we did? Oh, very good? Absolutely yeah, So I want to start with before I really dive anywhere. I want to start your boy, Alexe Collins. You basically stood off on a chair right on this table, and you're like, and Alex Collins sucks, I'm going to suck because I grabbed him every air, every where. He is my guy. If Alex Collins suck,

I suck. Do you suck? Well? The league where I did draft Alex Collins, I won a championship. I drafted Alex Collins over Joe Mixon in one league not great. I drafted him in the third round. I was taking him in the third round of lots of drafts and I still stand by it. And we got a little bit of an Adam Gay situation, and stand by it. I still stand by it. Because Greg looked the Ravens

running back position was profitable position for fantasy. This year, it still was like when Alex Collins was playing, he was he was scoring touchdowns this year. Um yeah, let's see. He had seven rushing touchdowns and only ten games played. He also had a receiving touchdown. He had eight total touchdowns in ten games. So he wasn't getting the workload

that we expected. That was super annoying, but it was still a profitable position because he looked at what guys like Gus Edwards stepped in and did imagine if Alex Collins had the opportunity to play the running back position with Lamar Jackson, it would have been great. He did, and no he didn't. He never got to play with Lamar Jackson. Greg he was already on I R. He only played ten games, but it was the last six Jackson,

but he had one. If he did, he either like didn't get many touches in that game or like didn't actually play. I still stand by it because the Ravens running back position was profitable for fantasy. It was just that John Harbaugh for whatever reason. We knew the reason it was because he was fumbling. He was fumbling a lot um But as the season went on he was

starting to get used more in the red zone. But still would never have that game like where we get fifteen carries twenty carries, So a bit of a frustrating situation. I was definitely very high on Alex Collins. Kind of became like the face of like the Alex Collins Fantasy owner. That's my face, Alex Collins. Um it didn't work out. It didn't work out the way that I expected it to be. Now, this is a thing, Greg, do we do process over results because we'll talk about Royce Freeman.

Everybody in the industry was high on Royce Freeman. And if you look at what Philip Lindsay did, if Royce Freeman would have just been what Philip Lindsay was, which is what we expected. But this is a process over results thing. Right, we were on the Bronks running back and roy gonna take credit for Philip Lindsay because nobody nobody was talking about Max was on Philip Lindsay. If he turns into the next Alvin Kamar, not quite close enough, Max, he got it right, He got it right. Phillip Lindsay

was awesome. Let's see right now, he finished RB twelve. He's an RB one probably the way we're wire pick up of the year. Definitely. Do you kind of take something away from that where you're like, we knew the Broncos running back was gonna be good for fantasy, We just didn't know that an undrafted rookie free agent was gonna become in and be better than the third round pick that they drafted. Do We look at that like as a lesson, like, well, you know, we knew it

was gonna be good for fantasy. You just didn't, like, we just got the wrong guy. I'm gonna answer that question. No, we got it wrong. No, absolutely, nass results. No, it's not in this case, because we thought Alex Collins and we thought Royce Freeman were good enough that we drafted Royce Freeman and Alex Collins on the third round, right like. We did this because we believe that these guys were going to be good enough that they were going to

run away and have the opportunity to be in RV one. Potentially, we're certainly an RV two. They didn't Philip Lindsay and undrafted the free agent who was great, the Wavery Wire pick up of the year, was better than Royce Freeman. We were wrong about Royce Freeman. Yes, that's what matters. That's what matters that we like Royce Freeman because we thought he was a ast of the guys. We were definitely wrong. That's why we like being wrong about Royce Freeman. Wrong.

Were you are Alex Collins? Were you kind of hated Alex Collins? I wanted to draft Derrick Henry over him. It was wrong about for like fourteen weeks. You know what's hilarious about that. Guess where Derrick Henry is right now in terms of running back frankings this season all RB fourteen. He's a fourteen. He's RB fourteen on the game, and he was drafted as RB eight team. So technically Derrick or Henry returned value, but he really only returned.

And that's why next year, when you're doing everyone's like, that's why he cons the top fifteen running back. He scored, he scored fifteen touchdowns. We gotta draft Derrick Henry again. That's why next year. What don't you know what we always learned stuff? Right Like last year was like looking at the new offensive coordinators a whole time. When I'm looking at ranking players. Next year, I do ranked players.

You get them on venmo. I'm going game. I'm going to look at the game, lonch before I rank them in by game like even like even like the fantasy points pre game or good we gotta do. We gotta find the consistency. We have to find the consistency because that's like, that's how I realized. I hate to say this, but that's how I realized that Julio Jones wasn't nearly as bad as we thought he was, because if you

look at the game like that, that's pretty good. Last year we dove into a little bit more, and I think that's what we have to do. Like Derrick Henry, everybody will remember this playoff stretch and how amazing it was, how they turned the offense over to him, And what you'll see is, all right, so this is the Tennessee offense we're gonna get next year, right, Like, this is the offense that's going to be Derrick Henry, Derrick Herry, Derrick Henry. And maybe you're right, maybe they turn a

new leaf. So Derrick Henry is like a weird choice, but more so than anybody else, like even in Antonio Brown. Like you're right, everyone's kind of before this past week especially you said it, it's not like Juju should ahead of Antonio Brown when you dive into that game long. I admit, it's a lot better than you realize. We we don't have to have I'm just saying. I mean, it's like it's like a fun exercise to do. We

just keep talking about things we got wrong. We're going to that too, like I got obviously got O'Dell Beckham wrong. I'll tell your auction fantasy team that I did, and I've got a lot of crap. Five. So here we go from week one on Antonio Brown one sixty seven zero. You're not gonna say the catches all right? Zero six fifty one, five sixty two one six one on one he had a touchdown and one two, three, four or five, six, seven,

eight consecutive games. Is also talk about consistency consecutive touchdown, Yes, but we can't ignore regression though. We can't ignore that. And you know touchdowns are the hardest thing to predict year. Yes, that is true, because what it's been at least double digit touchdowns three years in a row now, and it

doesn't look like he's slowing down anytime soon. Don't we look at Antonio Brown like, if before the season I told you Antonio Brown was going to score fifteen touchdowns this year, Greg, what was the percentage chance he would have said that that that happens. I would have said, if that happens, he's one thousands at the wide receiver one overall touchdowns really at like thirty five percent, that's a lot of touchdowns. And and if he scored, I mean it would have been a lot lower for me.

I probably would have given like a ten percent chance of that. Actually, really, fifteen touchdown touchdowns, I mean, this is a career high for him by far, so that the most the most he's had in any other year

is thirteen fourteen. Last year he only had nine. And the Steelers are actually a team that's still alive technically and needs a play in Week seventeen, So I wouldn't be surprised if he scores another touchdown or another two touchdowns, And then we're looking at Antonio Brown next year and everyone's gonna see fifteen, sixteen, seventeen touchdowns whatever it might be, and be like, oh, well this is you know, he's

the red zone target. He's gonna score touchdowns. False. Judu Smith Schuster has more red zone targets this year than Antonio Brown, and dude only has six touchdowns. And he plays in the slot, which you can argue if you're a slot receiver in the red zone and you're getting red zone targets, it's actually easier for you to score

touchdowns and anybody else on the field. But I don't want this's number that like Antonio Brown is like old all of a sudden, because that was there was actually a really interesting article that I it like midway point in the season, which was talking about a lot of things that we've talked about. His yards per game we're down, his cash percentage was down, and it was basically saying, has Antonio Brown falling off a cliff play wise? And I think the answer to that is definitively no, Like,

he hasn't fallen off a cliff. The guy has fifteen touchdowns and he's getting so as he fallen off a cliff, No, So I think that there was something kind of like

off this year between him and Big Ben. I do because like when the cash percent like the cash percentage in the yards per game are definitely a thing, like the touchdowns have saved his fantasy performance, but there have been times this year where you're watching the Steelers and you're like they're not really on the same page, Like they're not on the same page that they normally are. So I'll look at that heading into next year and

Antonio Browns would still be a top five wide receiver drafted. Again, there's no definitive wide receiver one we've talked about this already most times, and it's only you know, we're only a couple of days after the fantasy football season for most people done. But there's no definitive you know, it's Hopkins, it's Davantae Adams, it's Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, They're all on the same mix and even early second round picks

One name that I have to ask about is Odell Beckham. Now he was drafted pretty consensus wise. Is your third wide receiver giver? Take um off the board? He lets you down this year? Is it a product of the Giants offense? Is a

product Eli Manning is a product of himself? Why did and I was all over Odell admittedly so to help my fantasy team the whole deal? Um, Why what's wrong with Odell Beckham? Eli Manning? Is what's wrong with Odell Beckham? And I think we all know that. Greg. It's easy

to point the finger at Eli Manning. But if you just watched the games, and there were a lot of games where you know, we would come in here on Monday and we would do the recap of these games, and and the overreaction is an overreaction where we're saying they're just not taking shots down the field. And you know, Eli didn't have time in a lot of those games

to take shots down the field. But even if it's a three step drop and throw a back shoulder past to Odell Beckham or fifty fifty ball where he can go up and try and win, like he's good enough in terms of like talent pound for pound talent where you can just throw this guy and hope that he makes a play or a quick slant or something where you know he could get out of his break, like

he's good enough to do that. I just think they didn't do enough scheme wise in order to get to Beckham the ball quick enough, because we know what he could do after the catch too. He's amazing in that regard. I just think the scheming the way they use Odell Beckham was not good enough. But this is not going away this whole like deva mentality. I still think that this quad injury is somewhat gazzy, Like I'm not completely buying in on this came out on a Saturday, Like

what was he doing the night before on Friday? Where Like he wasn't on the injury report all week long. So you still kind of have like the diva mindset. I would say, like, out of all those wide receivers we've talked about, he's gonna go after those guys. So whether it's like a mid second round pick, a late second round pick, and you know, I just about him as a third round pick the other day and people were bashing me. No way he goes in the third round.

It happens year in a year out where we look at one season and everyone's gonna look at his overall numbers and say, all right, well, you know, Eli Manning still the quarterback next year, even if they draft a rookie like Dwayne Haskins. I don't know that he plays in Week one. Yeah. The thing is I think we don't. Beckham is too good to you go in the third round. And that's what and that's that's ultimately what it is. Like he's skill, people will just buy back in. I

know that about myself. I will it's not being a giant. It's not giants. Vas How can you how can you justify? Right now? Where would you take him? Early second round? I'll take them secon round. I don't know. I don't want to say early second round because I have mappres so many wide receivers in that rang. So I agree with you, and I'm not ahead of Michael Thomas. Should he go ahead of Davante Adam? No? Should he go ahead of Tyreek Hill? I don't think he shouldn't. Chief's

offense as it is. Here's here's how many wide receivers. I'm gonna take over him? Ready? Yeah? All right? John Jr. Hopkins, mhm, Michael Thomas, Monte Adams, you want to say Tyree Hill? Fine? names should be Belvam. I'm not arguing with you that you want to take Juju or Keenan Allen or Adam Feeling ahead of him. The argument from me, he's he's been injured the past couple of years, definitely hasn't finished seasons. Definitely. Eli Manning is going to be the quarterback next year. He's still gonna be throwing it ten times a game at sake, kwonbarky behind the line of scrimmage. Unless they figure something out, Unless we get some definitive evidence, like, hey,

we realize that we used Odell Beckham wrong. We didn't execute the past game correctly. This season, this is what we're gonna do. We're gonna change a B and C heading into next year. That's what we need to hear. Giants. We know how talented he is pound for pound talent, but pound for pound talent doesn't mean that you are good for fantasy football. DeAndre Hopkins a couple of years ago finishes wide receiver thirty six with brock Oswilder as

his quarterback. Talent doesn't always win in fantasy. I'll say this, Odell Becka twelve games this year. Still it over a thousand yards receiving. In those twelve games, he had six touchdowns. He plays a full season, which again he has not done in the last two years. I don't want to discount that he has that he's a very good chance. Frankie receptions way over a thousand yards points per game

pr He's wide receiver eight. He's right on par with right ahead of Juju, He's right ahead of t Y Hilton. That's why I have him as well my six wide receiver. That's not wrong, but it's not you. Yeah, I don't think it's crazy. Don't say it's not wrong. It's not crazy to take the tight ends over him? Do you take Kelsey? And I'm still not gonna do it. And I think, I mean, they were better and they finished definitely definitely. I mean it's a question and a debate

that you're gonna have. And they were talking about it on the Frenzy UM on Monday, I think with do with Travis Kelsey and Zach he was taking the second round. Scott Barrett put out what his first round would look like early first round for next year. He had Travis Kelsey in the first round. Yeah, I get it. I'm not gonna do it just to many running backs, but

personally that's me. Yeah, but it's you know, well, listen, the thing is like, if you start your team running back tight end, who's your wide receiver one in the third round. I mean, Frankie, we got the tight end wrong obviously, but you hated taking Rock and the third round of our draft you hated never did it before. You hate again we got the guy wrong. But the thing, but the thing is, if we got ERTs or Kelsey, we would have loved the pick and it would have

completely changed the dynamic of our team. Because Kelsey and ERTs this year performed like low and wide receiver one definitely. They performed like top ten wide receiver definitely. So like again, the logic was right taking a tight end early. It's just I mean, all the all the signs were, like the writing was on the wall. When he gets grunk. It's just you know, I drafted him in a few leagues. We drafted him in our biggest money league, the GFC League,

and you know, we barely made the playoffs. We lost to Matt Moodig, Thanks Matt starting Derrick Henry. What you know, if if we would ended up with Kelsey Urs, we would have felt a lot better about that. Yeah, obviously, so. Um, the thing is with the tight end, it's a discussion you have every year. We'll reevaluate it when we do a first round, when we next to August or next July, we started really working at football and making a first

round and kind of see where the consensus is. Um. I think it'll be interesting to see where these tight ends do fall because it's such a huge advantage, especially with that offense uh in Kansas City and zachar is being as good as he is. Which I would you take first, by the way, zach Art Travis Kelsey? Oh man, I'm thinking Kelsey is a better offense. But there's more pieces where you at the feed, I recognize that I probably would take Kelsey. I mean, I'm a big zach

Art's guy. I had him in a few leagues. I had him in the Carton League had him my home league. I have him as a fourth round keeper heading it to next year, so I'm definitely keeping him there. I think it's very close, man. I think when it comes after me, you're gonna be splitting hairs. You know. All right, Well, here's who's is Carson Wentz completely healthy? Does the Chiefs lose, lose anything on offense? Like, there's gonna be a lot that you look anything overall in a vacuum right now,

I take the rookie with the best matchup, and it's not just the Jets thing. I'll take the rookie who's got something to

you rank David Johnson next year? Its depends only who the coach is, right, Yeah, absolutely, I do think Steve Wilkes is a one and done. Uh. They We've already heard a lot of Mike McCarthy to Arizona mutual interest there, so I know, a lot of people are poo pooing Mike McCarthy. That's like the popular thing to do. Heard that's have been linked to Mike McCarthy as well. They've also been linked to Jim Harbaugh. Came out and shut that down. We'll see what happens. I think Todd Bowles

is as good as gone. We'll figure out who their their coaches and maybe they do something like Bruce Arians that's the Jets, though that's different. The Colts are going to have an offensive minded head coach. I do believe that Iron Left, which has done a better job than Mike McCoy, but Greg Sussman could have done a better job than Mike McCoy. So, you know, a lot of people were talking about Byron Left, which is like a popular O C candidate around the league, like they were

talking him up. I don't know that he's done a great job, did a fine job with like that he was dealt. But David Johnson will he'll be an early second round pick. I think early second round or or late first for that reason that we said the club is like a late first just because you take the running back and you know that you're guaranteed to get like a really good wide receiver in the second round. Do you the thing is, do you take that chance? And you're like, all right, I want Antonio Brown or

Julio Jones. I'll take that chance that David Johnson isn't there in the early second round like someone else and I sim and then you have to pull someone up, someone else up the board. I do think they'll go in the second round, but a lot is going to be like if they get if Josh Rosen is playing well in the preseason and making progress, and they get more weapons outside of like if Larry Fitzgerald comes back for another season, if they have like a lot depends

on what they do in the off season. But as of right now, I would say, like early second round, would you rather have David Johnson or Joe Mixon next year? This is both situations are very much so dependent on what they do. Because I do think that there they should at least have a coaching overhaul in Cincinnati as well. You see for years like you know, whatever, marvat Lewis will just bring it back. We love mediocrity in a vacuum. Based on what we saw this year and the way

that both teams are trending. I would take Joe Mixon. I think so too, but I think it's close too. I I do think that. Uh. I think Nick Chubb and and Joe Mix in our late first round picks as of right now, I would put both of those guys slightly ahead of David Johnson won tru. I agree, yeah, I agree, all right?
